Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the ZDM podcast Network. This is for the Flesh
one and Haley's Big Pod, brought to you by Chemist Warehouse,
the biggest brands of the lowest prices. Happy Wednesday, Happy Wednesday,
Zim Tosses returns eight o'clock. We gave away four hundred
dollars yesterday morning started with one hundred. It could have
been eight. I know she took the cash four hundred bucks.

(00:22):
It's a lot of money. Well, toss it will take it.
You get through at eight o'clock, that decision is yours.
Will give you one hundred dollars and then you can
decide toss it, take it. Toss the coin, double your
money two hundred, four hundred, eight hundred.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Sixteen hundred three two.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Do you think anyone would get to sixteen hundred and
keep going?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I just want someone to come on and be like
I phoned up with nothing. See how far we'd baby.
I love that.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Well. Your chance to play this morning is at eight o'clock.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
The top six one.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Your trade me was down for a time yesterday, Hailey,
you actually noticed this in real time, didn't you.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
I was gutted, man, I was looking for some vint
wall candle sconsors, because.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
That's definitely what you need right I need right now.
That's kind of what we're touching on the Top Sex,
the top six bargains you missed out on when trade
me was down. Yeah, next on the show though.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Now we know burnout. Yeah, people are burning out left,
right and center. We're also rusting out. Oh goodness, the
list of some that's happening to us. What is rusting out?
I shall tell you.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Next play in flesh one and Haley.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Of course, when I read articles like this about rust out,
not burnout, rust out, it's very grateful for a job
like this. You get to hang out with your mates
and have fun and listen to music and maybe get
a coffee afterwards and go about your day. So rust
out burnout is, as we know, is not just feeling
stressed or a bit like oh I'm tired, is like complete,

(01:52):
I've just been working too hard. Hand the candle. Yeah,
I can't do it head enough, could possibly take on anymore.
And sometimes like really bad is like you're forced to
take a break. I literally can't keep going. Whereas rust
out kind of feels like the opposite. It's still workplace
to stress, but it's from being chronically underutilized and understimulated

(02:15):
and under challenged.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Like if you have a car and you just park
it up, it's just you're just rusting away, not being used,
not being challenged, not being challenged.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
You got a job, we're just like, oh god, I
think my eyes closed.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Every now and again. It's one of those stories. And
it always happens in some I don't know government departments,
So you always see those stories and it's like so
and so didn't even turn up and they got paid
for fourteen years.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Like they didn't need to be Their job was so easy.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, because there are jobs out there where people just
aren't even noticed.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Yeah, totally, that's what it is. It was named by
a psychotherapist who was like, it's it's the opposite of overloaded.
You're underloaded. Side. You're there trying to beef out your day,
you know what I mean. They're like, hey, so here's
your workload for today or for the week or something.
You're like, oh my god, this gonna take me no time.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Well isn't that good though?

Speaker 4 (03:03):
No.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
I've had friends who have had jobs like this before
and they they are just so bored. Yeah, and you
can't just go home I mean, you know, if you
can work from home, then you've got all your tools
and stuff too.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
If you could work from home, this would be the
ideal situation.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
But if you're in an office, do you remember, I've
had jobs where you're just like, oh my god, the
days so long. Yeah, oras our days can sometimes go
fast because lots is happening and it's different and you're
being stipulated in different ways.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Yeah, I don't think I could sit in an office
and if I didn't feel challenged by it.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Stagnation versus exhaustion. So thirty one percent of workers there
was a survey done felt actively engaged at work in
five wow, thirty one percent. So the rest of them
are just feeling like a little bit like not really
kind of getting a lot out of this. Gen Z
and younger millennials. So that's me. Younger millennials hit the hardest, right,

(03:58):
isn't that Also a lot of people just staying in it.
They call it job hugging.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Job hugging.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
It is not to your job because you're like, yeah,
it's paying economic uncertainty, like it's better than having no job.
But they're just sitting in there, like just not challenge
thrusting away. So signs of disengagement, loss of ambition, emotional flatness,
fading curiosity, irrability, cynicism, and fatigue. It sounds horrid. What

(04:26):
to do about it? Audit your role? Identify what energizes you,
what versus what drains you? So going like, okay, what
are the best parts? If my job is I'm in
charge of, you know, looking at the lids on drink
bottles and making sure that they're not warped.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
In the factory. In the fact, right, that's your job.
As your job, what.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Part do I like the most about that?

Speaker 5 (04:50):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (04:50):
The looking? Is it? The loocking?

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Is it? The sort of surft is sometimes finding a
wa Instagram page of all the warped lids.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
I found that the water bottle factory. I'm literally boring
myself trying to make that interesting. If you're listening to
us right now, in a factory, yeah, trying to sort
the warped bottle water bottle lids from the unwarped. I'm
so sorry, but quit go look out there. You know

(05:24):
you're like, quit and go do what.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
This is why people are job hugging Haley, their job,
any jobs out there at the moment.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Here's my stitution. If you're looking at a water bottle,
it's free or cheap.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
No, no, it wild when someone just quits their job
and doesn't have a job to go kind of admire it.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
I'm like, well, you're crazy, all.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Thought about it, but it's absurd. I think that this
person is sorting their water bottle lids should set an
Instagram page and become and then just a little photography
series with your warped lids like that.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Well, I'm sure you even spined. Everybody going to work this morning, just.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Get out there, make that money. Honey?

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Does that podcast?

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Network of people while they're using Netflix are using some titles.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I love them, always have them on, but they're so
distracting you don't watch the.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Ima And sometimes they ruin gags.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Little punchline or they beat it or yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Yeah because you read it the head of the gag
or the punchline.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
But your eyes are down the bottom. Yeah. I don't
know why. I just like it. The only time I'll
ever use it. If it is if it is as
if it is a like a deeply irish show or
something there talking like yeah, oh my god, like what
I understand.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
I like using what's the option? Is it forced English?
When you're watching it like a spy show. Often if
they go to another country because they're undercover, then they'll
speak in whatever language, and then those subtitles will come up.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
That's when you need them. I actually didn't even use
them for squid Game. I learned Korean?

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Did you?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
And how we watch a squad game that all of
us watched it accidentally with.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
A dubbed the first episode dubbed and then you can
change it onto the ground.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
You didn't want to be pushed on to the ground.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
And you never watched dub you you have to use
some titles? Was unacceptable for a foreign SHOWIG show.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Subtitles, absolutely, But I just hate when there's an English
show and it's audible and you can hear it and
make it out, and the subtitles. What's the point? I
just like it. I just like having the backup.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
I watched the thing, but every now and then I'll
just is it because you're on your phone as well? No,
because you can't be on your phone and reading and
read on your phone.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
It's a weird behavior.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Well, and you know what it's These stats from Netflix
backed up because on a New Zealand story stuff story
yesterday talking about this, they had a poll at the
bottom of their story. Forty one percent subtitles always on,
twenty nine percent only for accents, mumbling or tricky shows. Yeah, yeah,
which is basically what you said, like an actor. That's

(07:59):
like where you were always off the two distracting thirty percent,
forty one percent.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
That's insane. That's a lot. I absolutely couldn't be bothered.
I like captions on Instagram posts like social media.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Because you're watching it on silent sometime. Yeah, because you're
in a meeting, you're watching reels.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Of techtoic maiding, or you're on radio. You're like, you
can still just like watch along, like I'm just watching something.
Now we'll be able to tell. Yeah, because the volumes off,
the volume is going to be down. You've got to
hear it in a meeting the other day and you're just, Okay,
I shouldn't be watching this. We're a maiding. It's all quiet,

(08:43):
and then I'll be like.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Sorry, and then I'll forget, and then my muscle memory
is to open the app.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Again, and what happens the KP eyes I'm I'm sorry. Oh, sorry, sorry, Yeah,
I'm here, I'm here. Hey they we're in a maiding. No,
it was just someone's calling me. No one bought that day.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
The z M podcast Needwork plays Flitch and I.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Got a letter. I got a letter.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
May do I need to do anything? Well, if you
know if you got the letter, dress it's found you,
you'll get simple.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah. It might have been about the.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Maori because I think that was close anyway. Yeah, anyway,
I'm we were saying.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Any lollies lollies this year, and we are. I think
they should give a little bowl of lolly.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Because they both can't be seen to.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
I know they're encouraging you to vote, not who to
vote for. Yeah, I wouldn't be when you kept it.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Keep the pin, the orange one that you vote with.
You feel like I got a pin and walked away
with the pin. You shouldn't have. They're a strong no,
because I felt like there was this there was a big,
a big arker in there.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Who you vote for?

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Yeah, but I feel like I got a pin. Well,
you shouldn't take a pin. If everybody took a pin
would be down.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
I'm pretty sure got a pin? Nine six nine six?
Did you get a pin? Last selection pin Man, no
one got a pin Do you know once I did
vote in a sports bra. This was my first year
I was living in or to vote in a sports
bra because I like that that was all you were wearing. Yeah,
because I was wearing a Green Party T shirt and
I went to the thing and they're like, you're not

(10:28):
allowed to wear like advertising, You're not allowed. I thought
they were working at the booth.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Wasn't allowed allowed with Alis Snidden trying to woo Chloe Swarbrick, try.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
It when I was trying of trying to woo Chloe Swarbreck.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Well, where were you saying before the show? It's our
elections are very boring.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
So boring. There used to be so much fun, Like
do you remember at the spaghetti party.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
I remember growing up the mcgilla County Serious Party and
the Scott's Right and they were they would always have
silly policies and they'd never get elected. But it was
just some light relief in entertainment.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
It's a whimsy for the for the what is sometimes
either a said or like just boring process.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Fine.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
A couple of things have happened around the world which
have made us think we need some of this whimsy
and our election.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
What's happened with Luxton's overnight?

Speaker 1 (11:28):
You know, he said, you've all got to come down
to Wellington. We've got a we've got a leadership on
our hands. I just read a news article that most
of the arriving politicians that are in the National Party
were like, nah.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
We support them. Oh okay, So I don't know who's
trying to roll them.

Speaker 6 (11:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Right around the world, Well, in Colombia, a white costumed elephant.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Is running.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
First was running, has been sworn into Columbia's latest parliamentary session.
Thirty two women, sixty nine men, and one cartoon elephant.
Now he I'm you. I'll show you a photo.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Look at him.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
He turned up to Parliament, could hardly get down the island.
His costume took it.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
He kind of liked Barney the dinosaur style, like he's
standing up.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
He took the hit off to reveal himself and he
is a new senator. And he ran almost the entire campaign.
I think three days before he revealed himself. He took
the head of the elephant off. He ran the entire
campaign without revealing his identity, just that he was the
white elephant. Who was there to stampap anti corruption, stampower

(12:43):
anti corruption. Right, the white elephant, he's the white elephant
in the room, right, see that?

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Like, why doesn't one of our parties do there? Why
somebody has to lose their mind and wear a.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Costume but lose their mind in in a comical way
and not lose their mind like a go down a
rabbit hole.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
No no, no, no no, just been whimsical.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Enough of that, there's enough of the serious scar in
my mind. Also in the UK, it's another costume situation.
Bin Face is running against Nigel's a power.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
We're saying he's an absolute extremely shit.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
So he said he called for a by election on
the seat that he sits on, the Clacton the Clacton seat,
and this comedian put on a costume for Count bin Face,
whose head is literally a bin, and he just put
a bin over his head in a bit of a costume,
saying he's an alien.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
So the National part later the national.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Pole that was run, see thirty three percent would vote
for bin Face and only twenty percent for Ferra. Oh
that's brilliant. But then his local pole, which is the
one that it's because it's a by election.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
It's only for one seat, has farage your head?

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Unfortunately, Well, surely a bit more publicity and this bin
face can yeah get ahead. Clacton is described as an older, whiter,
less university educated, and more economically deprived area than the
average of England and Wales.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Right, which is why, which is why he gets.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
In there and he tells all these people that their
problems all to do with immigration and such, and then
they all get all wrapped up?

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Did you know that in New Zealand? Sorry, on Wikipedia,
there's a whole page dedicated to joke political parties in
New Zealand. Prity that we had a few of that.
What else we got? Uh one? I won't mention and
I'll tell you why off here. The Civilian Party That
was a frivolous political party founded by political satirist Ben Offindale.

(14:38):
It contested the twenty fourteen New Zealand general election before disbanding.
The Imperial British Conservative Party was a fastical political party
founded by the Wizard of New Zealand in nineteen seventy four.
It stood for the traditions of British imperialism. The McGill
cuddy Serious Party and then what was the flying spaghetti monster?

(15:00):
That is true legend, that was a religious legend. Flying
Spagheti monster, a census you could say what your religions.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
It was because you could wear religious headdress in licensed photos. Yes,
and everyone said you can't wear it. And he's like,
I'm a Pastafarian coland my head. I'm a Pastafarian. I'm
of the Church of the Flying SPAHEDI. We need more
of this in politics.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
Where's the windsor?

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Then?

Speaker 7 (15:28):
Podcast Network plays ends flesh one and Haley.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
From the unmoderated comments section. This is the top sex
trade me. He was down yesterday. I saw some users
online saying it's not working. Hailey, you experienced it not working.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
I was well. I was on there looking at a
pair of old metal wall candle sconces that I just
think will look really great in your castle in my cast,
all one of them and it opens a secret passage.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Yeah, you know, they look like they'd be on the
wall of a castle.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
They look they're very medieval like shields.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Vampire what vampire is selling those?

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Flood the mirror mirror. I'm moving everything must go.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Top six bargains you missed out on wald Trade Me
was down to today top six, number six on the list,
a car without a warren or a ridge, but a
really promising project that you'll never get around it.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Just park it out on the front lawn and you
put it on blocks, work on it.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Yeah. Go on.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Number five and the less of the top six bargans
you missed out on Wald Trade Me was down another
piece of antique furniture that you won't do anything with,
and it's riddled with borer.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Don't look at me, I didn't. I just look that
your fest have been going pick up and delivered to
your house. Yeah. Yeah, that thing's got so much borer
and so much borer. Yeah. I've got a big, massive
dresser sitting in my garage. Oh, Betsy's going to do
it up, is she?

Speaker 1 (16:59):
She's not.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
I think I'm going to accidentally drop it off the
back of a truck. They're so hard to find.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Oh, the garage got robbed. They stole the heaviest thing
ever made.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
They left all the power tools, but they took the
heavy heavy dress, heavy heavy dress.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
And number four on the list of the top six
out bargains you missed out on Old Trade Me was
down a cursed engagement wedding engagement ring, wedding ring and
wedding dress combo deal, though shamed to have missed it.
Did they divorced? Did they die? Who knows?

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Mystery of a cursed wedding ring? All yours.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Number three on the last of the top six bargains
you missed out on Old trade Me was down stolen
power tools that are weirdly still in their box are
never used, but they're actually just unwanted gifts. People are
always buying people tools with no receipts for returns and
not checking if they already had one before they.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Buy them one.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
And yeah, I'm selling these there were an unwanted gifts stolen, Yeah, stole.
It's still got that wire thing around the four sides
with the big lock in the middle.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Yeah, you just cut it off.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
All the all the hardware stellers have the power tool section.
You've got to buy this stuff in there in the
shop in there.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
I bought a drill bit in the shop within the shop.
I was like, can I just pay for this at
the main thing, and they're like, and I'm like, no,
you can pay for other things at the shop within
the You can you can pay for everything there if
you want to totally.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Yeah, but then you've got to the receipt on the
way out of the door.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Bit silly, isn't it.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
I'm just actually just adding drill bits to my Yeah right,
what kind of drew?

Speaker 1 (18:29):
What are you drilling?

Speaker 2 (18:30):
So I've got my my screw driver with the drill bits,
but I've got an impact driver that I need the
long thick ones for to dismantle the walls off my garage.
Oh okay, I love those impact those rattle gun. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Number two and the last of the top six bargains
you missed out on Old Trade. It was down some
sports equipment that actually looks in blood of good neck
for the latest and long line of sports or hobbies
that you come hyper focused on but won't stick.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
At that targeted man, I love man.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
You should put your skateboard on there. No, the wheels
are still so white on that skateboard. Like if you've
ever owned a skateboard, it doesn't make too many times
down down the foot bath until you lose that. Just
hold up with a skateboarder. You don't need to do skating.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Was this is like this was pre Christmas last night. No,
it was it's coming around because.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
We keep having these meetings at work about like what's
coming up on the show and people, and I was
just like, I reckon, we stop asking.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Yeah. Number one, number one.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Of the last of the top six bargains you missed
out on while trading was down a caravan. You've always
wanted one. You've got no idea what to do with
it. It's probably rusty underneath. What are you going to do
with it?

Speaker 2 (19:48):
It's a tiny little one. You can't even lie down
on it. But gosh, it's cute. It's cute, doesn't that I've
always dreamed on any one of those leaks?

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Cute legs, hotel, thanks, Yeah, way too tall, a little
hunch over in a toilet and then.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah, that's a big fancy one. I forget a caravan.
Well then I'll just gov how of a toe with
your push bike?

Speaker 1 (20:17):
You don't even have a car.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Just mincing down the road on your barn. That is
today's sub set plays.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
It ends flesh one and Haley.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
Well, we're very excited to be joined by Leo from
a J. Hackett team. Hello, Leo Calder, Now we're going
to do this something like you do. Yeah, we have
to because we want to raise as much money as possible.
Every three thousand dollars, one of us or a friend
of the show was going to do this new drop.

(20:48):
How does this work? Because the Skytower drops been around
for ages. Correct, Yes, where you go at the top,
get out on the balcony jump off.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
But it's changed.

Speaker 6 (20:57):
But it's changed, that's right, so exactly. So we actually
we upgraded our machine. So the sky jump machine is
very similar to what it.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
Used to be.

Speaker 6 (21:05):
So if you think of a reel that unravels as
you go down, So it's a big reel with a
steel cable all around.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
That steel cable that's correct, very strong, very strong.

Speaker 6 (21:16):
So that's that's installed on level fifty four the sky Tower.
And so what happens is we have that all unraveled
and it is at the bottom. So that's when you're
attached to a sitting harness. Yeah, and and that machine
will pull you all the way to the top. So
that's gonna put that's going to take about one minute,
about sixty seconds, like.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
A reverse bunde. Correct, Well, it's it's kind of a lift.

Speaker 6 (21:40):
It's faster than the lift that takes you after the
sky tower right. So yeah, However, you don't feel like
that's that that's the fast because you're outside, there's nothing
for you to you know, you're just kind of getting
you see the building surrounding you.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Oh my nerves just kicked out out so much.

Speaker 6 (21:57):
And then suddenly you're above all those buildings and you
have all the view of the harbor and everything else
in front of you.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
And so you're fifty three stories.

Speaker 6 (22:06):
High correct at one hundred and ninety two meters. That's
when that lift stops, and you're dangling there for a
couple of seconds and just joining the view rightly, and
we just push a button and then you you drop
all the way down.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
So it's like fishing. Correct. Yes, so it unravels as
you go down fishing because you're getting wounded. And then
you're precisely precisely.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
I feel like when we were discussing this as a tame,
I felt really game, you know. I was like, I
love a throw leo. Like I've done the Harbor Bridge bungee,
which isn't a super tall tall one, and I've done
the Nervus which was huge in the Camp Holt and stuff.
But you're just describing this. The tension at the top
is just kind of under and we're on here. We

(22:52):
can't swear.

Speaker 6 (22:53):
Yeah, you sweet, you've done the nervis. The never is
way scared than that.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
The nerves was terrifying.

Speaker 6 (22:58):
Well, yes, because they nevers is a free fall, whereas
there's one. It's not a free fall. It's a control
of the sands. Like even though it is a fast
you go down quite fast as high speed drop, but
it's not. It's not a free fall, so you don't
get that that gut drop fuel that you'd get.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
On, you know, on a free fall sort of thing.
The free fall makes me because you think you're gonna
go ah and scream every time I go.

Speaker 6 (23:26):
Yes, I'm being a control of the sand. You will
go high speed. I'm more than halfway down and and
it slows down, get it. That's as close to the
bottom and uh and then yeah, and then you say
for the bottom.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
And I always look for my plunges towards the Earth's slow.
I slow down towards the speed up.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Yeah. Yeah, like slow down situation because every time I've
done anything with a j Heckert obviously likes the safety
because we're asking people New Zealand celebrities friends of the show.
The more money, the more jumps. Yeah, and everyone gets
nervous being like, how safe is Obviously all the A
J hacket stuff is the safest in the world.

Speaker 6 (24:05):
My job as I'm a sales manager for a JACKA
Bunch and I do a lot of presentations and even
overseas and whatnot. My first lied in every presentation is
about safety. Yes, we've been doing this since nineteen eighty eight.
Eighty Hecker was the you know, the guys who invented
by a commercial bunge jumping around the world and safety
goes first every company around the world. They say, customer
comes first. For us, safety comes first above all. It's

(24:28):
all about safety. So we make sure that everybody is
safe and we're there to have a good time. We're
there to make sure that everybody has a great time
and they feel more confident about doing after doing it.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
One of our experiences.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
So if we start at nine in the morning and
we're our first ride in the last rode at five,
how many people could we possibly get, Well, we can't.

Speaker 6 (24:47):
Go up to about eighty people, seventy eighty people, So yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
So Hailey could be doing it at least ten times.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
We can definitely get Haley up and down a few
times back to that. I mean they already can break
into it at least twenty well terrified and excited. But
it's all for a good cause.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
So thank you for letting us broadcast from the site
for the whole day as well.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Yeah, looking forward to it. That would be amazing.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
And if you would like to donate, one and three
Kiwis will be affected by cancer, so you can show
your support by texting donate to three oh five and
make it instant. Three dollars donation to the Cancer Society.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
Plaze it ends flesh porn and Haley f Haley, silly
little pools, silly little po.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
It is so silly, silly, silly that sile poo, silly
little silly, silly little polos. Do you have good posture?

Speaker 2 (25:44):
So yes, today posture as part of our biggot Wider
company insid me. We sometimes we get a jab sometimes
were you know a donation blood donation will come here.
Sometimes we might get a complimentary fifteen minute spinal health check.
Did you see this yesterday in an email? See this email?
So's coming to do that. Basically like they'll sit up

(26:06):
like they do sometimes in an office here and you
can go in and they'll just do a quick spinal check.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
This is like in New Zealand college. Remember the hearing
test people coming. I don't need to know I'm deaf.
I know I am.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
So you don't know if you've got the the the
s curve.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
That.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I'm pretty sure I'm a little hunched over. Well, I've
got for a pianist and a marching girl, both of
which are very upright back. I've always had shocking posture, slouch,
a bit of a slash, like a hunch back. I'm
almost your mom. Was your mam a real sit up straighter? No,
and she's got quite bad posture too, because she's got
tall girl, big boob syndrome, you know, in terrible I've

(26:48):
admired your mum's tall girl.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Long legs, you know, mixed race struggle with it. Yeah, yeah,
I've offered my assistance. Yeah, li'smill's pump though. I have
done it well, haven't they?

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Yeah? Strong, strong, But I think about my spine all
the time. I've constantly been like, oh yeah, I want
to straighten it up. Bad posture.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
Well, we've asked you today for silly little pole, if
you have good posture, eighty four percent of people said no,
oh wow. See we all know where our generation and
we're hunched on our phone. Yeah, it's bad.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Sometimes I don't want to call her out, but sometimes
Shannon Shannon will be editing after the show our videos.
She does such a good job. But sometimes you like
chin is for I hit the screen sometime, or she
mounts into the chair like that. Yeah, mounts back is
like so hunch forward that. The other day I went

(27:45):
up like gently put my hand on the belt, like
just sit up straight a little bit.

Speaker 4 (27:49):
Do you know what I do now is we've got
this beautiful minion toy out and the producer, both Henry
and I put them on my lap because it makes
me conscious of how close I am to the desk.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Because you're not crushing her. Yeah, because it's so bad.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
I genuinely hit my screen with my nose often.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Yeah, I couldn't believe it. She was she was. I
went contact lenses.

Speaker 4 (28:12):
But it's just that sometimes I lock and you guys
are so funny and attractive that I just am like, he's.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Not old, not old. I haven't made up for the
fact that you said, it's clear that I was born
in nineteen.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
O nine, and I feel like saying Haley is not
old when it wasn't even likes older, actually made it worse.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Someone just messaged my husband's a fizzier but still sets
like a banana shaped f Yeah, excuse, thank you for
making me stand up straight this morning and think about
my pasture. I reckon everybody listenings thinking about it at
the moment.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
My marching coach was always headlights forward, don't dip. Don't
dip the headlightss.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
What if you've got like just low hanging nipples. Anyway
you try to get the.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Forward has passed. Yeah, up as possible. Georgia says, not
great posture here.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
I've always been tall, so felt conscious about self conscious
in high school being a lot taller than my friends.
But I broke my back last year and I've been
getting intense physios inadvertently it's been fixed after all of
these years. Oh wow, that's what it took to stand
up breaking your back. Danielle said, for a troll, I

(29:24):
got good, a good posture. So she's soul.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
It's an always sunny in Philadelphia. Yeah, the greatest episode
of All ChIL I reckon Damon.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
Tony said yes, because I did marching, I've got great posture.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Another marching girl just text him. As an ex marching girl,
often get compliment about my posture, but gollhim. My marching
coach would have a hernia if she saw it.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
I only had good costure now because I've been going
to the chiropractice for over a year. I used to
sit at my desk like a cooked shrimp cooked.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
That's what Shannon looks like. I cooked shrimp.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
They just got tighter and tighter and tighter on the barbie.
On the barbie, Kenny says, I'm a pharmacist, so I
spend all day hunched over at a bench. I went
to a chiropractor once and as soon as I walked
and he gasped and told me when I'm eighty, I'll
be severely hunched back.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
Never went back.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
M So, rather than fix it, just ignore the just
ignore the problem. Can we get the pharmacists desk boosted
a little bit?

Speaker 2 (30:29):
What's the thing scoliosis? Yeah? A friend of them, old well,
James must Pard got you know James must put comedia. Yes,
he someone messaged him and on when he was on
Celebrity Treasure Island and said, you've got scoliosis for sure,
and he don't and undiagnosed. Yeah, you can correct it scolios.

(30:50):
And I had another friend who was on the cusp
of it because it was posture was so bare. Well,
have I ain't got that? Yeah, we're doctors. Trust me,
trust us, You've got it all. Once I got told
because driving's bad. Ay, like there, head forward, drive like
you've got your tucking a soft peach under your chin.
You get a bit of a double chin. No, I
don't like that, so then you're not jutting your head forward.

(31:11):
I don't want juice running down my nick. You'll hold
it soft. I'm not.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
A look and they're like, I just put my seat
right back. Lea. Yeah, I'm a machine operator. I spend
way too much time sitting on the side of the
hill pulling trees out.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
So fun, but you'd be a bit sit skew. Not
great pasture.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
Lucy says no, because I'm thirty five weeks pregnant and
I have a watermelon on my front trying to drag
me face forward to the ground.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Oh yeah, the great news.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
There's once the watermelon's out and it's clinging to like
your hip or here, or you're picking them up we
put them.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
It's going to be constantly trying to drag your back down.
Have you seen the shoulders on a new mum? Yeah, dude,
hulks and forearms here here, I just want to appreciate
Eshton text and fighter of the Nightmare years.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
Listen, God No, I catch myself in store windows sometimes
and I think it's quasi Moto.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Had scoliosis surgery at thirteen years old.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
A middle roden suited the length of my spine, so
I literally cannot be into other than at the waist.
There's no slouching here. WHOA, Maybe I'll get a middle
rotten suit that doesn't sound as fun, and you'd beep
every time at the airport and you now we're.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Going to swamp you. Okay, certificate going to rodden me back.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Shit, I'm a trader who plays golf in My back's
as crooked as they come. So for so little pole,
we ass if you have good posture, eighty four percent
of your self identify as not having good posture.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
The z M podcast Network, what's even now?

Speaker 1 (32:45):
I would like to pass duties because she's the head
interventions and kind of experienced it and then shared it
with the rest of us.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
I've had I've had not as many cigarettes since re
turning some Europe, and I have barely been drinking during
the week. Went to the gym. Yeah, yeah, we're going today.
Off your list, off your to do list. Yeah okay, Well.

Speaker 8 (33:17):
I will just say remember that you did throw a
little intervention to FAM's way this week just he was.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
Wearing a pussy t shirt and as a friend, soaking,
are you trying to fix it? Just get rid of it?

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Get rid of it at least.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
It's burnt out.

Speaker 8 (33:36):
So yesterday, as I sometimes do during this job where
we have bright lights early mornings, coffee very early in
the morning, I had a headache.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Yes, And so I said, who's got a Panada?

Speaker 8 (33:47):
Family friends? Who has a panandle? And you were like, pape,
I've got you. So and you say, just rummage in
my bag, which I will say, I'm honored. That's an
honor that you've allowed me to just go, WILLI MILLI
get anyone?

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Just rummage in my bag? And I knew that you
would rubbish through there. I actually knew that would rumbah
through the judgment free. Yeah, of course. Well it turns
out maybe not, because my I would I always say this,
My car and my handbag are always the reflection of
my headspace, like I'd like to take a tidy home,
you know. But the handbag and the car always reflect

(34:20):
where I'm.

Speaker 8 (34:21):
At because they're quite intimate and personal and not everyone
sees them. Yeah, but I did see it yesterday and
as I went to.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Pull out, like what's in there?

Speaker 8 (34:30):
As I went to pull out the peditoal, there was
like an array of junk in there.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
And I pull out the pedital which I'm in dire
need of.

Speaker 8 (34:40):
It's expired, Haley, It's so.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
Fun expired expire.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Now, this isn't a handbag, this is a a tote bag. Yeah,
it's actually really cool bag. Yeah, shake that again for
the listener.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
Jesus so much.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
We can't say that because.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
The bag got bigger. The bag got bigger, but the
junk got Morgage is a direct junk transfer.

Speaker 8 (35:06):
So I want to enact a humiliation ritual, and we
are going to go through your bag and see exactly
how many expired things you have in there and need
to get rid of. Well, hang on, let me move
this power cord that I was sent but it's the
wrong cord, so I need to send it back to
the person. And this These aren't expired these pearls because
they are empty. Okay, new use today, but it's just

(35:29):
a packet.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
Check it out because they fall out into the bag.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
Do you want do you want to go through it?
Or you're meant to go through it? Dates? Okay, here's
some no does now don't come in. Someone said, how
what are you going to be studying for a test time?
You need drama school days?

Speaker 9 (35:46):
This?

Speaker 2 (35:46):
No, I got this because I did four shows in
christ Church and I was they're just caffeine pearls expiry
oh seven, okay, that's last night. I think I'll be fine.
You'll be fine. I reckon. That's good.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
It's not now that's expired. That's a bits before though,
like they'll'll be fine. Can't Also you just said before,
I think.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
And kind of like almost too much. Okay, there's the
panadole that you had that expired ages. Yeah yeah, babe,
that didn't work at all. Okay, look at that. I've
actually got a bit of thrush medication. That's just been
kind of hanging around in this like medicine bag, just
in case you don't want to explore, just in cases,
just in.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
Case you get thrush at work?

Speaker 10 (36:30):
She has?

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Yeah, does it just hush sneaks up on you? Oh,
I didn't know that rush. Okay, there's expiring eight twenty eight.
That's okay, that's all right.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Also, I think I'm at that age now where even
though I've got reading glasses, now I really have to
squint for the expiry dots on medicines. Yeah, why do
they make them so tiny?

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Here's my anxiety meats the expiry eight. Goggle those up.
A fresh batch, get a fresh batch every three months.
I've got some tiger bar or here's some bonjelic, because
I'm also a baby. June twenty twenty seven. That's fine.
There's a sort of old jar of butter butter Hailey,

(37:16):
it sounds mold on it. A little jar of butter
around condiments. Here's some eclipsements, yes too, one's never one
fair expiring though, Um, what's gonna have two? The third
of June twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Yes I will, I'll go soft man.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Have you been using these on dates? Because I don't
think there's been working. Yeah, you're gonna have fresh bread.
I'm not passionate with like a coffee breath or a
garlic yea. Also only got two clips months left, so no,
you can't actually have one.

Speaker 8 (37:52):
Okay, what do you think all these dates say about you?
Then it was like that she's past you. You don't
do it.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
A sign. This is Wednesday, and I feel like I've
been roasted like three times already. Is that a love?

Speaker 4 (38:13):
It's just a mirror, hon you know, you're just looking
at yourself like we're just.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Pulling up a mirror. Yeah, okay, well, intervention received and
and I'll yeah, I'll get some fresh meant, some fresh pile,
some fresh nodos, some fresh a fresh take on life,
a fresh.

Speaker 3 (38:33):
Perspective, network place that ends flesh one and.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
Give me some wingly little ghost music plays because I
said that I was feeling in the mood for a
bit of a wingley tingly Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
So this is where you want people to call up
if they have experienced some.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
Ghostly, ghostly unexplainable like, wha, what does that mean? If
this is your first time, it's a lot of fun.
You're a believer I'm a believer. I'm a believer, but
I don't believe.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
That's got to do with it. We all love Justin Bieber.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
I'm a believer, but I don't. I'm very conflicted because
I don't really believe in the afterlife, like I think,
once we die, we die.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
But you've seen a ghosts and the quest was it?
The Weston Parmestan right again, I don't think. I think
crack the windows.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
Okay, if you just joined us, I'll say the same
thing I say every time. I had not been drinking.
I had not I was not under any suitor with
a dream or anything like that. I was completely alert myself.
I woke up and there was a man in a
gray suit next to my bed, and I was like,
I just don't I've seen a ghost, right, there's no
other way for it.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
Now. The reason we bring up today, we'd Tingley Wednesday,
the return of in your ghostly stories.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
Yeah, there was a they call them non ordinary experiences, okay,
previously known as extraordinary Brazilian researchers looked into this hearing voices,
sensing a present, sudden waves of all seeing ghosts. She
can make you a better person, slightly make you a
better person because you've seen something so extraordinary, lots of

(40:06):
stats around you, and make.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
You a better person because you're like, oh, if these ghosts,
there must have been afterlife or a better start behaving
up in the hell one.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
Yeah, maybe maybe it's not a bad thing. It was.
It was a lot of people saying that they were
fully awake, sober, and healthy when the experience happened, not dreaming, intoxicated,
or ill. Only twenty percent of people found a negative reaction,
whereas other people were so positive about it, like I
was when I just went, oh my god, this has
really opened up my whole world that I've seen this.

(40:36):
It had a positive long term effect on their life
because of that experience.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
It sounds like a lot of gas leaks, doesn't it.
Born not believers at all. Well, we want to take
your calls, Hailey Will.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
Maybe you've seen a guy something unexplainable and noise that
you saw, you know, sometimes it was like I had
a dream about my grandfather in the middle of the night,
the nick nick morning Granddad, did you know? Oh wow? Okay,
love it. And then if we get a tingle wingle,
that's a huge success.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
Okay, I'll wait hundreds at him nine six nine sex
Tingly Wingle Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
Now I'm feeling a little tingly wingly already because I'm
on pseudo eff for dream. So this is.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
Thanks to David Seymour.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
Thank you David. There's so many messages. I love how
people get on board with ting Wingley Winds.

Speaker 1 (41:27):
Again, I'm going to put all of these down to
crack the window. It's probably a build up of carbon.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
Side Robbie, do not listen to them, Robbie, good morning,
good morning, good morning. Now tell us your Tingly Wingley
Wellington's story.

Speaker 9 (41:44):
I believe, yeah, yeah, so I you s to work
at the Saint James Theater.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
Okay, famously famously haunted.

Speaker 9 (41:54):
Yeah, a couple go stories from that place, and my
main story was about you're the ghost. We got taken
down to where he lived in the old ticket booth.
Ye and I talked about what you were meant to
see when you meet him. He's a He's a white
light that floats around you kind of feel his presence.
He also helped people, saved a couple of lives back
in the day.

Speaker 1 (42:15):
But yeah, Russian Russian performer that was said to have
fallen and died at the st James, isn't it then, Uri?

Speaker 9 (42:25):
So we got taken to meet him, told what you
meant to see and on our way out to his
ma and a scaffolder leaving the place and he followed.
He had a sensation following him out the door as
he left, and as I walked the other way, I
see a white light floating on behind him.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
It was only later in the day when.

Speaker 9 (42:45):
We sought back up together that time we noticed we
both had stories that lined up together.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
It wasn't like a light coming through the window from outside,
was it.

Speaker 9 (42:57):
No? No, this is in the center of the building,
so away from all when at least the dress circle.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
Wow, have you been James? I haven't met this ghost, but.

Speaker 10 (43:11):
There's one of many.

Speaker 9 (43:12):
There's a couple in there.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
What about the can? I ask? What about it?

Speaker 1 (43:16):
The opera house in Wellington over the road? Is there
a ghost because that's where we're performing just a phantom? Okay,
I haven't even worked there before.

Speaker 9 (43:24):
I be aout to tell you I was able to
debunk the whaling woman.

Speaker 10 (43:29):
One day.

Speaker 9 (43:30):
I went in to lock up just before the second
COVID lockdown, and there's a whaling woman who supposedly lives
in the Saint James as well, just screaming away at night.
It's a homeless.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
It's not a homeless woman on me.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
You know.

Speaker 9 (43:47):
She's supposedly another ghost who had a performance one day
and jumped from the the top of the remember what
you call it the gantry? Okay, But turns out she's
actually just the old doors out of the Unton Courtney place.
Leading one through.

Speaker 2 (44:03):
We're not actually debunking, so you caught it, caught all
the great one about Uri the ghost. We don't need
to hear your debunking stories explaining that the whaling woman.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
Talking now about your weird Tingly Wingley ghostly moments.

Speaker 2 (44:18):
We're Tingly Wingley Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
Hailey loves doing this segment from the Ghost of Polly
and Grant.

Speaker 2 (44:24):
I know, so someone said to me that Polly nailed
the voice of the segment back in the day. I
would have been grand because he had such the deep voice.
He had a great voice. But I don't. I don't know,
so I've just got my own voice to know it too.
Jordan's called through.

Speaker 1 (44:39):
Good morning, Jordan, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 2 (44:42):
Now Jordan, tell us your Tingly Wingle Wednesday. Ghost story,
so not seicularly ghosty.

Speaker 11 (44:48):
But I am born on Black Friday and of ninety one,
and I was thirteen days late six pound thirteen Oh.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
Wait a six pounds thirteen How many? How many ounces
in a pound?

Speaker 11 (45:04):
I've got no idea I thought it was.

Speaker 1 (45:06):
I thought you think it's fate and inches? Yeah, maybe
I'm thinking feet and inches.

Speaker 11 (45:10):
It was always recorded for me as six pounds, thirteen ounces.

Speaker 2 (45:14):
And sixteen ounces.

Speaker 11 (45:15):
My daughter, her birth weight was eight pounds thirteen ounces.

Speaker 2 (45:19):
We've got a lot of thirteen sure, okay.

Speaker 11 (45:22):
Now between her and my next child is thirteen years
and between him and his twin brother thirteen minutes.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
Do you think the section and it might have been planned?

Speaker 11 (45:35):
Natural births?

Speaker 1 (45:36):
Okay? What do you do for your lotto numbers? Because
you've picked thirteen, there's no other still.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
Need five gamble. I don't fair enough funnily.

Speaker 11 (45:45):
Enough to Tylerson was my favorite artist, Taylor Swift. Every
year that my birthday falls on a Friday, so does her.

Speaker 1 (45:53):
Yeah, thirteen had explained that weird tangly Wembley.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
Tangle tangle tomorrow get this the thirteenth of August?

Speaker 11 (46:04):
How you explain it?

Speaker 2 (46:05):
How do you explain that it's a minor.

Speaker 1 (46:08):
There you go, and it's a month before birthday thirteen. George,
thank you. Some messages in My mum called my sister
on my wedding day. You'm thinking, no big deal, Mum
had been dead for four years. No, it was someone
who had my mom's cell number reassigned to them. It
came up on my sister's phone as mum. My sister
asked for a sign that morning if she would read
a palm at the wedding and that was a sign

(46:31):
your sister's number. Had you had they like turned on
this phone and there was like, you know, because I
would probably do that, absolutely mindedly my father, No, you wouldn't.
That's odd, isn't it.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
I was living at Wellington, rest of my family in
Christi when my Papa got sick. I hadn't been able
to make it down to see him. Work commitments and
all that. I had a dream one night that he
was hugging me on a beach and yarning away. Then
he walked off into the sunset. I was woken up
from the dream with a phone call from my mum
saying he's just passed away. Firmly believed that he was
passing by on his way out to say goodbye.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
It's nice that you did kind of get to say
goodbye to him. Yeah on a beach too, Way better
than if it was like an hospital.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
Yeah, into a sunset, gorgeous, lovely.

Speaker 1 (47:11):
Um. Somebody else said that the whee you're playing this
weekend and Nelson has also haunted Hailey.

Speaker 2 (47:18):
The ghosts came out. Yeah, but don't ruin my punch?
So was the ghost playing admission?

Speaker 1 (47:25):
Like?

Speaker 2 (47:25):
It feels like I not theater, but it should also
be paying for the entertainment. The same ghosts used to
visit multiple houses in my childhood and my teens. I
first saw it when I was five or six in
the paddock beside my primary school. Then it visited my
house about ten years later. But it was my bestie
that saw it while having a sleepover at my house

(47:46):
on the weekend. Then we talked about it at school
on the Monday. Another friend who lived on the streets
said their nephew living with them Caesar all the time
and they smell her perfume. It's the same lady for years.

Speaker 1 (47:58):
Red door door, I always always it's the smell of
the ghost was walking through the family garden with my
one month old baby, no one else around, and as
we passed the part where my husband's mother's ashes were
spread around the garden, I heard as clear as day
someone said, who's this? Like she was asking who the
baby was? Who wasn't the neighbor might have been the

(48:20):
neighbor over there behind the fence. I had death warned
me and then my brother died. I mean death like
the Grim Reaper.

Speaker 2 (48:28):
I don't think the groom Reaper gives his hisas up. Yeah,
your brother about to die? That yo yo? Where's that? Yo? Brother?
About die? Brother? Southern? Because the Grim Reaper is a
Southern rapper as well. I think your brother around.

Speaker 1 (48:42):
My Tingler Wingley, which affected me all my life was
when my mom married this guy after my dad passed away.
From the ages of six to eight. This man used
to pray in tongues over my beard at night after
he left my room, I.

Speaker 2 (48:55):
Used to see a demon head at the curtains.

Speaker 1 (48:57):
He treat the shit out of me a lot of
sleepless night's thanks to what is he putting up a
little water over you, a spiritual ward and then he
leaves and the demon can't get any closer than the curd.
Be like, Mum, leave this man immediately or I don't,
because if he's not putting up the ward, the demon
is going to get me.

Speaker 2 (49:13):
A photo of my granddad flipped itself off of a
shelf and then my mum rang an hour later say
my dad had died in a glass.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
That's like real life.

Speaker 2 (49:21):
Guess who wow.

Speaker 3 (49:26):
Flesh bruh.

Speaker 1 (49:28):
I want to talk about bruh. So later on the show,
Sweet tried something brouh. Okay, yeah, it's not peptides though,
but you know where one?

Speaker 2 (49:40):
Okay. So, but doing a big garage clean out, as
I've mentioned before, and yesterday I found a box of treasures. Letters.
I can't believe I know how to speak based on
the amount of letters past in class. I have every
single one of the letters from my high school friends,
primary school friends that got pasted in class. We used
to write each o the letters and see do you
keep all this crap? Well, previously at my mum and

(50:02):
dad's house, But my mum and dad's house is now
my house, and so I'm going through it all. Brought
it all with them, But are you getting rid of
all of this? Shouldn't need all of magic, and then
my best friends staying with me were going through it,
reminiscing ab our old letters were written each other like
it's so funny. Any problematic stuff in there, dude, off air.

(50:22):
I'll tell you something that just like hung her head
in her hands and was like, never show anyone. I burned.
I found it once and I was just like, I said,
that's last thing. That's why weird.

Speaker 1 (50:33):
Glad we didn't have any social in high school.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
My god.

Speaker 1 (50:36):
Yeah, in our early twenties.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
There was one from when we were like thirteen years old,
and there was this little book and it had prompts
and it said when do you laugh together the most?
And it said when we make fun of And I
cannot believe it was written.

Speaker 1 (50:50):
Anyway.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
We're growing, we know now. Anyway. One thing I found, Oh,
I love my career and I'd love to keep it.
Let's move on. One thing I found with these small
Q cards. Now, I am the Form one and Form
two point and cup speech award winner from intermediate and

(51:12):
then we did speeches in high school. I think this
will be from based on the handwriting and some things
in here. This speech on these Q cards handwritten would
be two thousand and four. Maybe fourth form okay, maybe
we run it out four rather than sort of points.

Speaker 1 (51:28):
I used to do bullet points an ad lib.

Speaker 2 (51:31):
I know this is pre Hailey being able to sort
of speak on the fly. Command Commander room. Now. The
only problem is I want to read you this speech,
but I have speech cards one, five, six, seven, nine,
and ten.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
Okay, okay, And what is the topic of your speech, Haley?
Before you take your stard number one? Okay, Hello over one.

Speaker 2 (51:50):
I'm Hailey Sproul and this is my speech. The tall girl.
That's what I am, five foot eight inches and still growing.
It's great, I mean, hear my, I'm being tall. In fact,
I love being tall, tall and graceful right year right?
Oh my god, you I don't like the I don't
like you. What is this character? I have a sellout

(52:13):
nationwide tour. I reckon.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
People are just burning their tickets right now. They're just like, no,
I've got a bitter things to.

Speaker 2 (52:19):
Tall and graceful, right yeah right? Who who are you
reminding me of? Number one has landed Jermain Private School girl. Na,
it's somebody someone, someone's character. My mum is always saying,
quote Hailey being tall as a gift. I guess this
is one gift I'll be returning. Chop number two is landed. Okay,

(52:42):
that's Q card one. We jumped to five. Okay, we've
got to run now do five? Six?

Speaker 1 (52:46):
Is this all about you being tall?

Speaker 2 (52:48):
Yep, okay, that's the topic of the outlined in the
first thing. That's what I am just checking. Okay, this
is a mid sea.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
At time of speech five five eleven, five five eleven
now five eleven.

Speaker 2 (53:03):
Basically she did keep growing. Okay, carry on. I think
I'm talking about school photo day. Okay, something rather, something rather,
because there'll be lots of gags and that.

Speaker 6 (53:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (53:12):
Yeah, I lost two cards two to four. We pack
up at five. Some of you rather stand up the
front with the rest of the girls, which I would
get away with for a minute or two until my
height would be let again, would yet again let me down,
I'd be spotted and promptly marched to the back of
the line with all the boys. I guess being tall
at least made it easier for my parents to find
me in school photos. Joke number three. There I always

(53:35):
was smack bang center with boys on either side of me.
But funnily enough, As I got older, finding myself surrounded
by boys became less of a problem for me, if
you know what I mean. Excuse me, what did you say?
This is intermediate as a fourteen year old when you're
in an old girls an all.

Speaker 1 (53:55):
Girls school, and you're like, you know me better slide?
It was of forecasting.

Speaker 2 (54:02):
I find myself surrounded my boys became less of a
problem for me, if you know what I mean. Oh
my god, here's here's joke number two, come and joke
number whatever. Whenever the fire alarm went off, would all
have to line up in single file, shortest to tallest.
Where's the logic with that? Do I burn slower or something?
I like that?

Speaker 1 (54:20):
I like that's really funny.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
I really like that good. Then there were the school dancers.
It wasn't only the boys two left feet that I
had to worry about, being so much taller than them. Yikes.
And then I've missed it.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
I have a joke, didn't really have?

Speaker 2 (54:38):
Yeah, okay, here's nine and ten? Do you miniature golf?
I don't know. I'd snap once they realize I'm not
here on some kind of basketball scholarship. This usually sends
them off with a disgusted look as if to say, Wow,
what a waste of athletic potential, which isn't true because,
as everyone here knows, I'm completely unco When I get

(54:58):
asked how tall are you? I always answer too tall.
People think it would be so cool to be a skyscraper,
but seriously, guys, it isn't.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
Oh my god, how did you win a trophy?

Speaker 2 (55:16):
I'm like, I don't know what. At the end, I've lost.
It kind of goes on to lead into a story
that don't have the rest of so I won't start
because I don't want to leave you disappointed.

Speaker 1 (55:24):
I mean, gag, one solid gag there with the fire alarm.

Speaker 2 (55:29):
Never a fire alarm would Okay, I'll try it in
my new comedian. Okay, guys, guys, what's the deal with
people lining up shortest and tallest when there's a fire alarm?
What tall people burn slower? Had the bit of delivery? Yeah? Yeah,
what's the deal with that? That doesn't?

Speaker 10 (55:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (55:46):
Yeah, I like that. Well, I'm actually performing in Totaga.
There's a couple of tickets available for Friday night, and
I might thumb that joker.

Speaker 1 (55:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (55:53):
The podcast Network.

Speaker 5 (55:57):
One and Haley Yesterday, I got an email from reception,
the current reception saying for and there's a handwritten letter
here for you, oh fan mail, legal proceedings.

Speaker 1 (56:10):
And you've been so see in court. So I went
out and got it. My name was spout wrong. On
the front via U G H E N that's new,
that's new. And on the back it says Cape Cape
Kidnappers Golf Course four four six Clifton Road, Hawks Bay
post code four one eight zero.

Speaker 2 (56:29):
You've got mail from a golf club. Weird. I open
it up. Nice course, Oh my god, it's beautiful where
all the rich people go.

Speaker 1 (56:38):
Because that's what I say to our Hawks Bay local Carmen.

Speaker 2 (56:41):
I'm like, what's the deal with it?

Speaker 1 (56:42):
She's like, whoa and she said she said stayed there.

Speaker 2 (56:50):
Oh yes, yeah yeah, come on come a beat.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
Yeah, to be close to the England. Yeah. I was
going to say, so you can seal the pangalo. So
I'm like, that's weird to open it. It's a piece
of cardboard which is the top of a golf ball box. Okay, callaway.

Speaker 2 (57:07):
By the way, if you play, if you play with.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
The only ever play a titleist? Boy, I think it's
titleist is not top No titleist, titleist. Yeah, there's no
there's is there an eye? But okay, yeah, Tuesday, whatever brand,
what brain you want. We're not sponsored here at the show.
All they're fully willing to be sponsored. Well I don't

(57:30):
play goal neither, but totally could for some money.

Speaker 2 (57:34):
And there's two things inside it.

Speaker 1 (57:37):
One's red, one's blue, and they say Cape Kidnappers.

Speaker 2 (57:41):
Harks Bay, New Zealand.

Speaker 1 (57:42):
Sorry one, there is a titleist in there, so it's
not titleist.

Speaker 2 (57:46):
Color me embarrassed. Now there's two. Now I look at them.
There about the size.

Speaker 1 (57:51):
And shape and width and height and weight of a
gambling chip like that you would play with the casino,
a poker chip. Yeah, and so I'm just like, what
are these interesting looking? The design on the back is
reminiscent of the New Zealand Royal Air Force with the
kiwi and the circles.

Speaker 2 (58:05):
I'm like this going on here?

Speaker 1 (58:07):
So there's no letter in there, there's just two chips.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
Nothing.

Speaker 1 (58:12):
I'm so confused that it's some sort of clever publicity thing.
And you know, am I about to be invited for
a swanky round of golf? We haven't mentioned anything about golf.
Sometime of labor driving range. Love a game of golf,
but cannot find the time to get out on the
one I go to the driving range, I use titless.

Speaker 2 (58:29):
Yes, my tea off without a turtless Yeah, I never
off turtless. And it was sort of it was kind
of weirdly like taped never taped in there.

Speaker 1 (58:39):
I was like, this is weird. Are these tokens to
play or I'm not sure? I say, you know, we're
all kind of all on the shown the mystery. George
is like Haim her husband Georgia that does the day show,
says he plays golf. Those are ballmarkers. I'm someone my
time on the course. It's been if you're playing on

(58:59):
the ground and someone's behind you in your balls in
the way the hole you put down a market but
generally they're perfectly flat and a little thing and they
stick into the grain interrupt.

Speaker 2 (59:08):
So anyway, this is all rattling around in my head
all day. Mystery unsolved. And then later on.

Speaker 1 (59:13):
In the evening, I'm in my lad's chat having a
chat and I'm like, boys, like, here's the mystery of
the day. Send them in front of the envelope. The
thing on the back opened it up, there's the coins.
I'm like, God knows what's going on here? And they
all start laughing.

Speaker 2 (59:25):
What have we missed something?

Speaker 1 (59:30):
I'm like, what is the way? Are you all laughing?
And they're like, are you taking the purse? I'm like,
what are you talking about? They're like the golf ball
markers you agreed to send internationally to our friend Auburn
who's trying to replace them for someone who lost them.
This was an entire conversation that you were part of.
I was like, you've just forgotten that, dude, I've got
zero recollections. Send it to your address because they can't

(59:51):
send it internationally.

Speaker 2 (59:52):
Oh my god. Oh you need to get fish oil
in you? The thing about fish oil?

Speaker 1 (59:56):
I get the burps afterwards, and I don't Oh just no,
I have it like in fish, like a salmon salmon?

Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Do you know have a good a good way to
cook salmon? Eight minutes near fry, baking on the bottom.
Your terrible memory, Well, my memory is terrible because I've
always said I should be taking more fish. I don't
take oil because you get those burps, yeah, given in
salmon oil burps, Yeah I do. Yeah, that's they're disgusting that'shall.

(01:00:25):
I have salmon and it's near fry.

Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
I can't remember the last time I took for sure,
you have a shocking memory. That's it's porridge brain ache.
I remember weird things from ages ago. Yeah, but if
something just happens in the moment and I don't like
concentrate on it, it just goes in one ear and
out the other. So I found it thirtieth of July Friday,
quarter to seven, probably seven you had Amy Gens. I

(01:00:52):
need a favor. I need something small sent to me.
Who's able to help my mate lost as cape kidnappers
golf marker and I'm trying to be the GC and
get it replace the pro shops said that I only
send it to a New Zealand address from Auburn.

Speaker 2 (01:01:04):
I said, easy, imagress, send it to me and I'll
send it on my recollection.

Speaker 1 (01:01:09):
Your you need something like fish oil.

Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
Saying can you touch on the importance of short term
memory health? Because I wanted I was thinking maybe Mega
three tablets, but I can't remember why. I don't like
them because of the birds, which I do because of
the birds, just samon.

Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
I do love salmon, but I have friends oil cooking
of salmon as a whole ordeal. The fish oil camp
shows that will help you remember what you just previously said.
Short term, Have you thought I'm just oil. I'm lost
because I got stuck on the fish oil there because
I get the birds.

Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
Someone said, this is big menopause. You guys are coming
at me for being Perry Peiri. This is giving.

Speaker 1 (01:01:50):
Peery pierri fletch I have. I have become a completely
unreasonable bitch.

Speaker 2 (01:01:58):
Sorry, people, all women out there through the Perry Perry
or the full spicy menopause. Sorry, I can't remember. I
should get some fish oil.

Speaker 1 (01:02:08):
Yeah you should.

Speaker 2 (01:02:09):
It's the it's the boobs afterwards.

Speaker 7 (01:02:10):
It the fletchhorn and Haley beg pod.

Speaker 2 (01:02:16):
Fact of the.

Speaker 1 (01:02:17):
Day, Day day day day do.

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
Do do do do do do do do do do
do do do do do do do do doom.

Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
Today I want to talk to you about Arctic turns
in this migration week.

Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
Fact of the Day art deic.

Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
Arctic turns are a tiny little bird weighs about one
hundred grams. That sounds insane, you say, but birds don't
weigh much because they have to fly. There's an Arctic
turn on.

Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
Cute. Sorry, I think I'm playing still playing music from before.
It's really cute.

Speaker 1 (01:02:51):
It's a cute little birds like a little mini seagull
with a black hat. Yeah, he's got look a black
band down like a ninja but more flufy. Do we
have I think we've got some. Do we have some turns?
You have a New Zealand fairy turn. It's the common turn.
Please google it's very cute. These are the Arctic turns
I want to talk about. They fly pole to pole

(01:03:12):
the back every year in migration. They chase north to south,
north to south and south to north. That over the
lifetime of the bird means that they could fly to
the moon and back three times.

Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
Wow, that's a big journey. How long do they live for? Um,
I don't have the exact figures of how long they
live for.

Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
It just is over the lifetime of the average turn,
three trips to the moon and back seventy one thousand
and and you're around triple more than seventy one thousand kilometers.
Because they don't fly in a straight line either. They
as stupid but was wasting energy. You seem to put
the turn up against the amount of time. Fletch spins

(01:03:55):
and business.

Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
Class yeah, grap does well, actually got a pending up
grace right, yeah, I'm going to Australia.

Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
Right, you've got you are you using one of his upgrades? Upgrades, Sorr,
I'm Jade.

Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
Take them over here. He's a sparrow. Yeah, he's a sparrow,
and we're a turn. I don't fly far. We travel
a lot. I don't fly far. Ah.

Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
So it weighs one hundred and twenty one hundred to
one hundred and twenty grams and when it flies, it
does a sweeping ish shaped path down the Atlantic Ocean.
On the way south, they go towards West Africa, then
curve across towards South America, which popping to Africa and
South America.

Speaker 2 (01:04:35):
I'm going to say, they don't know just which.

Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
They're also going to all this hot spots they are
and then they and then they go back down to
the Arctic.

Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
They chaseummers.

Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
They seem more and it's you know, by all hypotheses,
it's predicted they see more sunlight than any animal on.

Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
Earth other than the sprows they chase. They chase summer
as well. They chase summer.

Speaker 1 (01:04:54):
But they are going to the places that have literally
twenty four hours of some o they are. Yeah, because
these birds go to the extremes, they have a tan
on the mat on them. So today's fact to the
day is probably the bird that travels the furthest in
its lifetime to the mooner back three times is the
Arctic turn.

Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
Fact of the day, day day, day, day? Do do
do do?

Speaker 3 (01:05:30):
Fletchorn and Haley big Pod, Well, we want to.

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Know now, have you ever fallen in a hole? Big
or small hole? You could have stepped into a.

Speaker 1 (01:05:40):
Small hole and you could have just been walking along
and didn't see it.

Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
Yeah, theol for you to take part.

Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
Where was this the viral video doing the runs of
a footballer. He's celebrating, he's celebrating a goal or a
team victory, and he jumps over the advertising hoardings. But
he doesn't know that behind the advertising hoardings there is
a giant hole in the in the football field, which
I'm guessing is for it goes down and goes down

(01:06:06):
to like and it's just wide open. It's massive.

Speaker 2 (01:06:10):
It would be like two or three meters by two
or three meters. Do you know what's so funny? He
was celebrating a disallowed goal.

Speaker 1 (01:06:17):
Yes, so yeah, and then just goes literally disappears in
this hole.

Speaker 2 (01:06:23):
This was a thought he had scored and he had
in it. So you fell in the hole for nothing.
There's a home growing story as well.

Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
A dog owner was walking and potty and there was
a puddle and the dog walked through it and it
turned out it was a sinkhole.

Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
Jesus were just all fall in the hole. Down the
hole it went. Isn't it so weird that we live
in the world of the work to seat us up?
This is holes?

Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
Yeah, it pays not to think about it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
You see a sinkhole one day, does might open up
below me? You know what? Welcome to take me now,
to take me now?

Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
Well, because quite often this will happened to people on stage,
like a stage will give way, or it'll have a
trap door where a singer normally pomps like and they
don't see it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
Nailed himself down a hole and just kept on singing,
got kept dancing.

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
People who are four were driving and they're driving along
and they just think they're drive through a puddle.

Speaker 2 (01:07:10):
It turns out to be a big hole in they can't. Yeah,
that's a hole, that's that's a pond. I don't think
I've fallen into a hole, stepped into a.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
Plenty of time for that great balance. What about a metaphorical.

Speaker 2 (01:07:26):
Four months now, I'm not in a hole.

Speaker 1 (01:07:31):
Okay, well one hundred dars at him. This is the
question we want to ask you. Now you can tax
through nine six nine six.

Speaker 2 (01:07:36):
You want to ask the question, when did you fall
into a hole? Yes? Okay, when did you fall into
a hole?

Speaker 1 (01:07:42):
Let's take some calls Damien, who you may remember a
long time ago discussed the picking up of the mirror.

Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
Oh, good lord on trade man that a half.

Speaker 1 (01:07:50):
An hour that story, I will say, we're already late.

Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
Good morning, Damien.

Speaker 10 (01:07:56):
Good morning team, here are we this morning?

Speaker 2 (01:07:58):
Really good? Thank you?

Speaker 1 (01:07:59):
Really good now window Damien, when did you fall into
a hole?

Speaker 10 (01:08:03):
Well it wasn't me, actually, blitchy moons ago. I was
in the army and I was in a place called
East t Moore and yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
Yeah, yeah, you haven't been.

Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
It was always just let him speak this which we
don't have time, sorry, Damian.

Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
Carry on.

Speaker 10 (01:08:23):
Oh, I'm surprised Warden has been pretty quiet. But anyway,
so we were doing the night patrol and we were
going up this quite a steep hill.

Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
Did you have the face paint?

Speaker 1 (01:08:32):
Sorry, Damien, did you have the camouflage paint?

Speaker 2 (01:08:35):
We just don't have details. That's too much detail camera.

Speaker 1 (01:08:41):
This is like lion is Borne.

Speaker 2 (01:08:44):
Okay, all right, carry.

Speaker 10 (01:08:46):
On ken which of their helps? And we were going
up this hill and it was going to pass down
the line that there was this massive hole on the
lift end started, so keep to the right. And now
our sergeant we we hate.

Speaker 1 (01:09:00):
He just treated us really.

Speaker 10 (01:09:01):
Badly and we were always trying to do things to
wind him up or you know, play pranks on him.
So we just refused to pass it down the line
because we knew it was going to be him. And
the next thing, you know, we heard us speak but
a little bit of crying, and he did it a
little bit of yelly, and then we head was splashing
and water because we knew there was some sort of

(01:09:22):
river down there. And then my best mate who's unfortunately
no longer with us. He hated her more than anyone else.

Speaker 2 (01:09:30):
In the war. Sorry, did he die in the war.

Speaker 10 (01:09:34):
No, he actually passed for other reasons.

Speaker 2 (01:09:36):
We don't have time. Elkon Dolen says that we don't have.

Speaker 10 (01:09:39):
Time anyway, He stopped. He purposely looked down and he
goes third one for you, Dick, and then carried on
walking and didn't even tell anyone this. The sergeant had
fallen down. So but time we got that we were going,
we will stop. And they were like, oh this serge
and blah blah, and we don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:09:57):
He must have got lost in the warmed about you
guys are in trouble after this.

Speaker 10 (01:10:04):
Yeah, we've gotten so much. It wasn't it was? And
I think I've got caught the voice of it because
I couldn't stop laughing because when I did yelled there,
I laughed like he'll tell me off and I'll just
start laughing. And I don't even know why. It's just
my way. Yeah, it was pretty bad, like we were

(01:10:24):
like given so much jobs.

Speaker 3 (01:10:27):
It was beyond belief.

Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
Yeah, damn you and I'll be remissive. I don't ask
how's the mirror? Sort of a sort of a concise
how's the mirror?

Speaker 10 (01:10:38):
Well, funny enough, I went up. I was up in
Auckland and Hayley, you're talking about Jim's mowing. I was
actually giving a handed guy handed up and with his
Jim's mowing thing about health and safety, and they.

Speaker 2 (01:10:49):
Brought up I mean, how's the mirror.

Speaker 10 (01:10:53):
Looking at it right now?

Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
It's fine, I'm not kidding your story. You can't, you can't.
I know you can't interrupt, Damien. It's lovely to hear
from you. Thank you. I would love to hear from
you again, just a little bit more time, just quickly.

(01:11:15):
When you fell in a hole, yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:11:17):
Good morning guys.

Speaker 12 (01:11:19):
This was a few years ago, yes, in camp down
at Nelson Lake.

Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 12 (01:11:24):
We were doing a good old mountain biking session and
we were just going up the trails and this was
a quite advanced trail and I'm a pretty sporty GwL.
Didn't didn't see that. The trail kind of ended and
off I went into the ditch with my mountain bike
and was hanging hang off the edge.

Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
Yo, And it's insane.

Speaker 12 (01:11:46):
And I had to haul my mountain bike back up.
And to be fair, I haven't gone mountain biking since.

Speaker 2 (01:11:50):
No, no, nough for me once time. No, No, we're
not doing that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
Yeah, no, absolutely not, Lucy. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
Keep your teaks coming in.

Speaker 1 (01:11:57):
We'll get to those next. We were getting a new
gate put in, had a hole to put the post
in the post. My two year old son was that
I could hear him crime, but I couldn't find him anywhere.

Speaker 10 (01:12:06):
He is.

Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
Right down in the hole. Oh my god, those are
deep holes. We were doing the piles for my house.

Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
It's one third in the ground and two thirds of
a big gay Jesus Lucky.

Speaker 3 (01:12:22):
Does that m podcast need work plays?

Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
So I've been seeing my algorithm at the moment is
taking a slight break from its usual, and there's been
sorry just go bies. Okay, yeah, they're still a little
bit of that, but it's been predominantly like spider Man,
Spider Man content, spider Man theories and stuff, because I
love Spider Man and that movie rules and you should

(01:12:50):
go see it. But one thing I've seen a lot
of is Tom Holland talking about this workout. He did
a lot called the Cindy, the Cindy Workout. Why is
it called the sin.

Speaker 2 (01:13:00):
I don't know, I don't know. It's Barbie's sister. She
was the Cheap Barbie knockof Cheap Barbie Cindy. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:13:06):
So it's five pull ups and then ten press ups
and then fifteen air squats, which were talked about yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
Right supposed to be doing esquats every hour of the
Alzheimer's air squats. I'll start at ten.

Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
The Cindy workout gets its name from the traditional CrossFit
naming convention.

Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
The founder started naming brutal benchmark workouts after women, similar
to how they name hurricanes hurricanes. So b C right,
So this is the latest, the Cindy. Yeah, the latest,
And you do it as many times as you can
in twenty minutes. And Holland said his record was twenty
seven times and twenty minutes.

Speaker 2 (01:13:46):
Okay, and the record.

Speaker 1 (01:13:50):
The founder Greg joke that any workout that leaves you
flat on your back gasping for ear deserves a woman's name.

Speaker 2 (01:13:57):
Oh Greg, correct, Now, there's not appropriate agree as a woman.
As a woman personally, I.

Speaker 1 (01:14:01):
Like it, Greg Jedi, you like it.

Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
Cars on the fence.

Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
I'm going to google this guy if he's a great glassman,
he's a horn dog. I bet if he's not hot,
everyone will be like, oh Greg, But if he's hot,
they're like.

Speaker 2 (01:14:13):
Yeah, we have different rules based on how hot you are.

Speaker 1 (01:14:17):
Yeah, your society on a whole, isn't it? So I
gave I wanted to give it a guy.

Speaker 2 (01:14:23):
So you were heading for the gym anyway, what made
you You didn't have a plan or you were like,
I'm going to change plan. I just didn't feel didn't
feel like the usual situation. So I was like, I'll
give this a guy.

Speaker 1 (01:14:32):
I did seventeen full times in twenty minutes. And what
was Tom Holland's twenty seven? Now Tom Holland is thirty.
He doesn't have the whole.

Speaker 2 (01:14:41):
All my back. And also if he doesn't get the body.

Speaker 1 (01:14:46):
He doesn't get kill's job.

Speaker 2 (01:14:47):
And it's millions of dollars.

Speaker 1 (01:14:49):
Your motivation doesn't get the body, doesn't get this en
dayre Yeah, exactly, my god. I mean that would be
enough to make you go to the gym every.

Speaker 2 (01:14:55):
Day, right, striking at the gym as well. And then
I was like, if someone was hating me to get
fit and they were like, you have to by this date,
You've got to have a ripped body for this role
every day, you'd be inspiring you. But you don't have this,
So I think seventeen will be good. Seventeen. Yeah, I
was quite stoked with seventeen. I saw a very hot
hot man because now this is the thing everyone's doing this.

(01:15:17):
Remember when we were all hip thrusting Henry Kevill. The
girls were dying, Like, how have you said were thrusting?
Now this is Tom Tom Hollands one and I saw
a very hot sex foot sex black man do it
and he got twenty. He got twenty.

Speaker 1 (01:15:32):
So you're like, I was just coincidence seen it to
me and they do internet me?

Speaker 2 (01:15:38):
What what? What's the main difference between man a sex
for sex boy. It's just that he would have been
lifting his weight and also.

Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
And also has the face that looks like he knows
how to hees left.

Speaker 2 (01:15:48):
He does he you know how some people put like
a wastebout had extra weight around when they do pull ups.
He doesn't need to. It was born. He's got a
ten kg.

Speaker 1 (01:15:59):
He's got a built in yeah yeah around his waist
right yeah yeah, whereas I sorry, carry on, I've got
such a small penis. It's almost like the elastic band
assyst Yeah, it's.

Speaker 2 (01:16:09):
Almost anti gravity. So how you should do this again?
I'm going to Yeah, you love the poll ups, You're
very good at them. I'm good. Yeah, I'm going to
do it.

Speaker 1 (01:16:16):
I'm going to get to at least twenty, try to
get eighteen, want to get twenty I want to get
twenty seven because then technically, Spider Man, I wish I
had this whatever you've got weird competitive motivation thing.

Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
Yeah. I see hotter people than me all the time,
and I'm just like genetics, nothing I can do. You
do about it, nothing about and change this right, Yeah,
And you get there there every day and I'm not.
They walk past all jeted and skinny. I'm like genetics.
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:16:42):
Somebody said, I'm currently sitting at about sixty percent Spider Man.

Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
I'm pretty happy with sixty percent. That's pretty good. It's
so good.

Speaker 1 (01:16:48):
Yeah, yeah, really like a spider Man.

Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
Yeah, yeah, really good spider Man.

Speaker 1 (01:16:53):
Yeah, spider Boy, it's not a just to avoid the
Spider Man.

Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
Spider Man.

Speaker 7 (01:17:00):
ZM Podcast Network play z m's flesh Worn and Hayley,
I want to.

Speaker 2 (01:17:04):
Know right now, how long have you been waiting for
a ring or did you like wait and then did
you wait and then you would I'm not waiting anymore.
I'm done with this relationship.

Speaker 10 (01:17:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:17:12):
So there's a woman, Eve Tilly Coulson. She's a thirty
eight year old attorney in LA. She's got two hundred
thousand followers on TikTok so she does a lot of
social media influencing. She documented nine months of waiting for
her boyfriend Glenn to propose. They met on Hinge in
twenty twenty three and calm down, and in twenty twenty
five November, she revealed a self made promise if she

(01:17:34):
wasn't engaged by thirty eighth birthday, which was this week,
that she would pursue single motherhood virus sperm donor Jesus
the July it was sorry, it was July seventh has
passed an no proposal. Glenn said he was burnt out
and he hadn't realized that the deadline was literal.

Speaker 1 (01:17:57):
Okay, so wait, she had discussed her with him or
just on his social media channels, just on social media.

Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
So he places to discuss personal issues. So nine months
she said, she's nine months ago she said she was
going to do this, documented the whole thing, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting,
the date past.

Speaker 1 (01:18:15):
Yeah, okay, so what she's single now?

Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
He hasn't proposed yet, I believe right, But though I
don't think they're broken up, but I think he's been
made awad Gleann's just waiting for her to pull the plug.
But here's that they met in twenty twenty three. It's
not that long, not that long ago. Yeah, when I
got engaged previously, it was at the eight year mark. Like,
but people take longer these days. I always say when

(01:18:40):
people get engaged after two years, I'm like, you're crazy.
You don't know each other. Yeah, wait for it to sour.

Speaker 1 (01:18:46):
Yeah, because you know it'll take at least two to
three years for whatever act they're putting on to wear offly.

Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
Exactly, and then women men, we change will become a
whole different week be it yeah, weekly, day, monthly, particularly
hut day to day. But I want to know how
long did you wait or maybe you are still waiting
and you just want to have a little moan about it,
like why won't you do it? Why won't she do it?
Why won't they do it?

Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
Okay, we'll give us a call one hundred dollars that
he would love to hear from you. It text us
nine six nine six.

Speaker 2 (01:19:17):
Someone's just messaged in nine years still waiting for that ring? Wow,
how have you been waiting for a ring? Thirteen years?

Speaker 1 (01:19:26):
Fourteen?

Speaker 2 (01:19:27):
Yeah, in November it'll be thirteen years. Still no ring.

Speaker 1 (01:19:29):
My parents and my sisters care about it far more
than I do. We've got a five year old together,
so that's more permanent than marriage realistically, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:19:35):
Yeah, what is it when other people came more than
like when are you gonna put a ring on it?
Forcing their norms on? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:19:42):
Yeah, who cares? It's so much money? Just if you're together,
you together?

Speaker 2 (01:19:46):
So yeah, yeah, exactly the kids. And also isn't there
a trend now?

Speaker 1 (01:19:49):
And it's probably driven by gen Z's and not having
any money, but of just courthouse or the registery of.

Speaker 2 (01:19:56):
This year's like clighest wedding train is courthouse weddings like
you and me are couple of friends and the marriage. Yeah,
and it's done.

Speaker 1 (01:20:04):
Cameron, good morning. How long have you been with your
girlfriend for?

Speaker 2 (01:20:08):
We've been together nine years?

Speaker 9 (01:20:10):
Right, she's constantly dropping him, so just to be fair,
can't be asked?

Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
Yeah, well it.

Speaker 2 (01:20:20):
Doesn't sound well, I mean it does, but you're right.

Speaker 1 (01:20:23):
Is it just the money and your effort? You told
your Backca, Well we've we've got a house.

Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
What else do you want?

Speaker 6 (01:20:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
I mean you you?

Speaker 1 (01:20:32):
You and woman hate when we do this, but when
you do the maths on how much the wedding is
going to cost when that money could have gone on
to the mortgage and decreased your payments. Yeah, and then
you eight dollars and then the accrued interest over the years,
the compound.

Speaker 2 (01:20:48):
The wedding, like, just do the engagement that buys you
so many more years until you get she starts hounding
you for the wedder and then just still camera because
Nana about to kick it or you know, can we
she just kicked it? Well the ring.

Speaker 1 (01:21:07):
Don't tell me you buried her and want a waste, Such.

Speaker 2 (01:21:15):
A waste when people get buried in like jewelry.

Speaker 1 (01:21:17):
He loved his watch, pyramids, give us watch to someone
he loved in the funeral, they take it off, steal it.

Speaker 2 (01:21:24):
Gift has got one lovely open ones.

Speaker 1 (01:21:27):
He's got one.

Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
Okay, you just get that well, I mean respect when
you're single camera and you're like the sort of attitude
I feel there's gonna wear quite thumb. But you've got
her in the house. You've got a house exactly. Don't
make relationships. Last let me tell you that camera. I
can't afford all that. She can't afford that me, So
I stuck.

Speaker 6 (01:21:52):
Again.

Speaker 2 (01:21:52):
Camera. That's brilliant.

Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
Can thank you we'll leave that there before you.

Speaker 2 (01:21:57):
Dig yourself a hole. You've actually outraged every woman.

Speaker 1 (01:22:00):
Amy, Did that arrange you Cameron's attitude towards marriage there?
Oh yeah, it really did have that kind of.

Speaker 2 (01:22:06):
My skin and I don't even want to get married.
How long have you been waiting for?

Speaker 1 (01:22:11):
So?

Speaker 11 (01:22:11):
I waited for six years and we had a child.

Speaker 2 (01:22:16):
We can hear it.

Speaker 12 (01:22:17):
Yeah, that's that's the second child.

Speaker 2 (01:22:19):
Are you also stuck in a house. No, we actually
don't have a house yet.

Speaker 11 (01:22:24):
Okay, yeah, so we've now been married a year and
we've been together almost ten years.

Speaker 2 (01:22:31):
Oh? Nice, So it did happen? It did it? Did? Yes?
And when you when it happened, did you rather than
you know, you see lots of them? Oh my god,
I'm so happy. Did you just think like finally?

Speaker 9 (01:22:42):
Oh?

Speaker 10 (01:22:42):
Yeah, of both?

Speaker 6 (01:22:44):
It was.

Speaker 10 (01:22:45):
I was surprised.

Speaker 2 (01:22:47):
He yeah.

Speaker 12 (01:22:48):
He shocked me.

Speaker 2 (01:22:49):
With the proposal because I was.

Speaker 1 (01:22:51):
Just expecting it to never happen, to be honest.

Speaker 2 (01:22:53):
Yeah, right, maybe would you have been okay with it
if it didn't? Like you sound late?

Speaker 1 (01:23:02):
That was that was the voice went up quite high there.
Nice thing, amazing thing well worked out? Amy, didn't well,
hopefully Cameron listening now will pluck up the courage to
has messaged and they say, as a woman, why are
we waiting? Why don't we just ask her? If it's
that bigger deal A lot of a lot do Do.

Speaker 2 (01:23:22):
You know what annoys me is if you're in a
heterosexual couple and the girl goes, well, I'm just going
to ask you, and they go, oh no, no, no, don't.
I don't want you to do that. I want to
do it, and you're like, let's do it. Yeah, okay,
well that's different. Then just do it.

Speaker 1 (01:23:32):
But then if you're in out homosexual you.

Speaker 2 (01:23:35):
Have to both vibe it and go down at the
same time.

Speaker 1 (01:23:38):
And then when do you get your own boyfriend? Each's
part of the individual contry.

Speaker 2 (01:23:42):
Yeah, So say we're two men flitch and we're together.
If I asked you and you get a ring, I
don't get a ring, but I get an extra boyfriend.

Speaker 1 (01:23:51):
Absolutely, Okay, it doesn't sound fair.

Speaker 2 (01:23:55):
It's all fear.

Speaker 1 (01:23:56):
And sometimes they can live in the house as well.
I know it's wild. Yeah, where do you put them?
Just just steck them in the hot watercup.

Speaker 2 (01:24:03):
It a couple of Sometimes you can shoot them like
it's just a whole the world is right, Yeah it is.
The message is in how long have you been waiting
for the ring?

Speaker 1 (01:24:12):
Engaged at ten years together in thirteen years later, we're
still not married. We do have a two year old, though,
so that must count for something. So they were engaged
at ten years and thirteen, so they man to either
twenty three years wow, not married but have a two
year old.

Speaker 2 (01:24:26):
They were together for twenty one years and they're like,
you know what, well, let's have a baby. That's wild year,
isn't it? Isn't that something?

Speaker 1 (01:24:33):
Um? My ex stepmother waited nine years for a ring
just to be left, not too long into the marriage
for my dad to go back to my mum. Oh wow, okay,
um somebody else sixteen years three? Kid's in a partnership
visa all for nought would have been twenty if I
hadn't got out.

Speaker 2 (01:24:53):
Four years ago. Oh wow, what's out? What is a
partnership visa? I thought you had to be married to
get a partnership visa? No you don't, you know, like
a year we're together a long time. You're defected. Defect
with me?

Speaker 1 (01:25:04):
Give for eight and a half years and I've even
pushed out twins for him pushed out. It's a running
joke amongst my friends how long it's taking. He's twelve
years older than me and punching, So a bit of
hurry up punch.

Speaker 2 (01:25:15):
Oh yeah, if you're punching, you have to immediately marry.
If you punch it, I'm sure it's a nice ring road.
You make a fair mingy face, that's gonna be a
big diamond.

Speaker 3 (01:25:23):
Play it, flitch Vorn and Hailey.

Speaker 1 (01:25:26):
I saw real of somebody putting away the clothes, horse, clothes, dryer,
hang inside, especially in winter.

Speaker 2 (01:25:35):
White.

Speaker 1 (01:25:35):
Yeah, yeah, get it from the werehouse or came up
for ten twelve bucks or whatever they are. You got
the wide one recently, I've got the wide ones and
the small. I've got all kinds.

Speaker 2 (01:25:47):
I've got a thick one, a thick one. Tubes not
too thick for a pig. I was going to say,
you get too big for a p but just a
bit more studio than the classic sort of rubber coated
wire one.

Speaker 1 (01:26:00):
Oh they last ages. I can get so much washing
on those. Yeah, I've got a couple of thin ones.
Huge regret. This this real is funny, because this is life,
especially in winter. Put away my clothes putting away my
ear horse see again in twelve hours the dryer.

Speaker 2 (01:26:17):
Recently you've been using the dry suicide. Or if there's
something that I don't want to put out but it's
not enough, I'll just put on a coat, hangar and
hang it. You know somewhere.

Speaker 1 (01:26:30):
We've run a pole because this is my I took
my clothes off my clothes horse last night, and I
was like, I could put it away and then I'm
like washingt tomorrow and Washington. Just leave it here and
shut the door. It's on the spare room. Yeah, and
so my clothes house is currently empty but erect.

Speaker 2 (01:26:46):
But you say it to the spare room, You've got
the wide one. Can you get through the door?

Speaker 6 (01:26:50):
Easy?

Speaker 2 (01:26:50):
Piece have to go lengthies he goes lengthy's like a
longest like I've been in there, but when I've been
staying before he's hang on a sick.

Speaker 1 (01:26:59):
It normally doesn't come out of the room. It will
stay and stay there in the clar a little pile.
Do you have a clothes source up in your house
right now? Fifty eight percent of people said yes, yeah, yeah,
eleven percent said yes, but it's currently empty, empty but erect.

Speaker 2 (01:27:12):
Thirty one percent said.

Speaker 1 (01:27:13):
No, yeah, it's I do take it down if I'm
having people over and stuff, but otherwise I just keep
it up.

Speaker 2 (01:27:19):
It's so funny because like, well you've you've just done renovations,
like I know, nice and there's such a grossy eyesare
like they're just not esthetically pleasing, but god, they're good.
I do the good job.

Speaker 1 (01:27:30):
You put the socks on the side, side, socks on
the side, on the bottoms. I pig, you heard you, pig.

Speaker 2 (01:27:36):
I hear everything on that. No idols, I hate. I
don't even take yours outside. No I peg because I
take outside in the wind. Could just watch them. I
don't want any lines in the middle of my t shirt.
Oh yes, you must be.

Speaker 1 (01:27:50):
Yeah, where ITA's vorn every day will come to it
will be like he's got a line on.

Speaker 2 (01:27:54):
Sign.

Speaker 1 (01:27:55):
How embarrassing. Jane said, are there a permanent feature of
these days? With two small kids and recent power bells
have seen the use of the dryer band. I think
my mum just leaves his next to the fire place,
horse raging that that they'll get biscity crass, nice nice
thick towel, half snapper them into a fold. What about

(01:28:18):
empty and folded down but still leaned against the wall
in the living room. Yeah, mine's covered in half of
my partner's fishing waiters, a bag and a hat from
fly fishing last week, and so it's up.

Speaker 2 (01:28:31):
Yeah, okay, it's currently holding something else.

Speaker 1 (01:28:34):
Do you think she's made lots of passive aggressive comments
they look dry?

Speaker 2 (01:28:38):
Yeah, I think is all passed drive. Yeah, those are
well passed dry. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:28:43):
A family of five on a farm during carving is
washing everywhere. Tarlia says it's actually part of the lounge furniture.
Now I'll be listening to his Chattels said, no, I
don't have one up I have to.

Speaker 2 (01:29:00):
Please man of the Washington Constant.

Speaker 1 (01:29:01):
One clothes horse does need an upgrade desperately, as the
plastics cracked off and the rust of the shop. Yeah,
I think they do need it every now and again
in place. Yeah, only in winter overnight because I have
a fire to dry everything. Oh that's not who has.

Speaker 2 (01:29:16):
To have a clothes horse? New parents? You see them,
and they've got like three three of them before the
diapers and the clothes and stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:29:23):
Mine is currently up but empty, as I spent in
the entire afternoon fold excuse me, folding the clothes.

Speaker 2 (01:29:28):
It'll be full again by the morning. Yeah, it will be.

Speaker 1 (01:29:31):
And Laura says, as full. And I'm not even in
the same country as it is right now.

Speaker 2 (01:29:35):
Just let me stacked it and left.

Speaker 1 (01:29:37):
That's gonna be biskitdy dry dry, skiddy dry. So we
ran a cooky little pole on it. If you currently
got a clothes horse up in your house and yes,
as full of clothes and yes, but it's the lefty
heads up to sixty nine percent nice and a lot
of biscuitdy dry items skitty dry.

Speaker 2 (01:29:55):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:29:55):
If you had to rate review or marry fletch Born
or Haley, what one would it be?

Speaker 2 (01:30:02):
Okay, I would marry Haley. I would have six. Wait
which one is? No?

Speaker 1 (01:30:09):
No, no, no, it's only rate review Mary Oh, okay, no

review

Speaker 2 (01:30:18):
