(01:42):
a little mini pie, mince mini pie, and I had
a little bite into it and at the back of
it it erupted, squirted with maltenous mince into the palm
of my hand. And I would say that mint would
have been about two hundred degrees fahrenheit like mcdonelsius.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Hot apple pie, you know, like what have you done
to get that so hot in there?

right beside me. So it was just like all the
ments in the bin grabbed and washed my hand and
I was like, oh my god, that was hot. And
then like half an hour later, I was like, my

it's not named after frank banana rama, which a New
Zealand shrub that is used there and you know what,
as fucking ironic traditionally used in Malorti herbal medicine to
treat bruises and burns.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Oh shit, I was right near the source of my treatment.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yes, right there, and you sustained the injury that the
plant that the area is named after was used for.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Is it like a alo or something?

Speaker 1 (03:36):

get herkyes all the time, I'd bring up my nana.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
She give me just then, coming, baby bird your neck
with a bit of rama. Nanny, that teenage boy's been
sucking on my neck again. She's like, Nanny's got the cure.
Good on you for brama rama. So that's wild that
it's named after the place that could have cured your burns.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
