The new year has begun well and truly right when
we're deep into it. Well we're nearly into February.

Speaker 2 (00:16):

This is a year wishing away the year.

Yeah, I know, last year I was like a lance Agotz,
done and dust and a rapt up. Don't want to
enjoy this one, but I just want to take us
back to January first, Okay, a day that typically in
my calendar doesn't exist because I sleep it away.

Little it's more me advocating again for the benefits of
having your parents live with you or living with your parents.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
It's the greatest. It's the greatest thing that's ever happened
to me.

I think you're very rare that you can wow like
a lot of people would just be driven so crazy. Okay,
picture this. You have hosted a legendary New Year's party.
The stuff legend people are in the uber's six am
January first, right, this is a repetitive thing at my
house on New Year's Day. That people were the sons

up and that means Martini, the amount of express I
was coming out of that machine.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
I'll tell you what. So we got a bid.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Oh oh wait was that a hard wait? Wait?

Speaker 2 (01:20):

Well the people in the members of my household included
my best friend who was in one room. Yeah, my
brother and his fiance in another room, and men, I
don't know what then.

And we wake up at two pm the next day.

Well, that's I'm saying, two pm.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
House is about And I hear racket and I'm like,
what is happening?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Like this noise? Oh my god?

Speaker 1 (01:48):
And I get up and I open the curtains and
just sort of face the day and think, oh gosh.
And I was like, right, like today, I cannot start
the New year with a house like this.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
I come outside.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Has I sent my parents away, by the way, for
I was like, get out of here. Well, they didn't
need to see that kind of debauchery.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
To witness what's going on here.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Patsy has led herself back into the house and it
is cleaned top to bottom, recyclings, all sorted, rubbishes, sorted
through it, all dishes, are sorted.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Houses reset like it was.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
It was like floors were done, the deck had been resorted.
My twenty twenty six balloons had been taken down. It
was a full reset. And I didn't have like you
hadn't even had a party.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I hadn't had a party.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Wow, that's good stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Then food arrives and a nice crispy cold cider like
there's no, there's no, there's no. That day would have
been such a punish to me had it not been
for the fact that my appearance were with me.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
They didn't want to deal with it. And they didn't
even bother wake them up. How good is that? That's
a that's a quiet clean too. Yeah, as a as
a you know.

Often earliest to bed, earliest to rise, and a house cleaner.

I do that shit, noisy.

Yeah no, no, no, she wasn't doing it. She wasn't
doing that passive aggressive thing either, when you're slamming the
dish and be like, well, I guess I'll clean this up.

She did it other kinds of her own heart.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Oh my god, I'll tell you some of the stuff
she would have seen, you know, cleaning up sort of
miscellaneous this day and the other shouldn't even.

Speaker 2 (03:19):

Right, it was right, honestly, like top tier service from
from Patsy's cleaning Services. Okay, so everybody needs to live
with their parents, Well if you, if your mum's my mum,
you should because my New Year's Day that was it
slept until two and just existed and then I got
to start the new year with a lovely clean house.
I know you can hire her if you want.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Do you sleep till two and after you go like
seven and it's light and it's day.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
I can tell you, I can tell you how I
slept that long, but I will do that off you.
Oh okay, you're on the zoppies. You hit some zoppies,
not nothing sort of fixes there.

A long night like a sloppy old soppy at the end.
