Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the Zidium podcast network.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
It's Fleachborn and Hayley's a little bit of Pod. Welcome
to a little bit of pod.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
We know that producer Shannon is our craft and queen.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
She is on the plane the other day, wasn't she
cross cross the chain next to me?

Speaker 3 (00:15):
She said, I hope they don't take my hawk away.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
I was wondering about that made me think, actually, when
you're sitting next to me, do old ladies with their
knitting needles get pussy because they get taken away at
airport security?

Speaker 4 (00:26):
The big one is your scissors have to be under
three point five centimeters, and so I've got specific plane
scissors I can. I mean, I could stab something if
I wanted with them.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
This is the thing, though, if you brought on your
knitting needles, that's more likely to damage or hurt someone
on a plane than like when they confiscated bloody you
know a lighter.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
One hundred toothpaste?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Yeahthpaste into someone's eyeballs.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Bid you take a big Colgate on board? Oh my god,
triple stripe.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
So shanned dog, our known crafter. You're crafting yourself a
fisty outfit.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
How's that going?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Are we?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
On time, I might be naked.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Are we remembering what happened last time, which is that
crocheting tends to stretch, and by the end of the
last festival her dress was like in the mud of
because gravity had taken its top.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Yeah, I did forget that. You know it might be
that kid?

Speaker 5 (01:25):
Okay, then finished? All right?

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Well, see see Shannon lame way naked. But to produce
a car one who herself I believe is going to
into the world of craft.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
Listen.

Speaker 6 (01:36):
Crafting has never really been my thing. I've tried the crochet.

Speaker 5 (01:39):
It's not for me. I'll leave it to Shannon. It's
too hard. I've tried netting. It's fine.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
But she's got into scrap booking, hasn't she?

Speaker 6 (01:46):
Oh have you not scrap booking as such?

Speaker 3 (01:50):
As such a journalizing girl?

Speaker 5 (01:52):
There is Oh gosh, no, I know.

Speaker 6 (01:54):
I have that thing where I'm like, I like this
stick too much. I can't decide where to put it anyways.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
I related, you know that saying A that thing when
you guys have your favorite sticker and you don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
It's it's done for.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
I just like to put my favorite stickers around the
city on lamp posts. It's not though, because they peel
it off. What about it's always darrow snowboarders that put
stickers on sign signs near the skifield. Yeah, they love that.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Well, no, what are you getting into?

Speaker 6 (02:27):
Well, this does involve stickers, to be fair. I've joined
a group of girlies through my books to Graham, who
are doing the sisterhood of the traveling Journal.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
So what each one of us does.

Speaker 6 (02:38):
Is make a little start a little journal, which is
like a form of scrape booking for sure, and you
have like an about me page, and then all these
different little activities that you put together, you make all
cute and crafty and aesthetic. And then I send my
journal on to the next person, and someone sends one
theirs onto me, okay, and then we add to each

(02:59):
person journal and then at the end of it you're like,
get this really cute journal with all these like girly
pops that you've just made friends with and pictures of
their pets, and like, oh, this is.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Quite cute, these little things.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
It's sort of like a little pin pally.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
But I had a friend that I used to do
this with in high school.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
We had a little book and we'd do like a
page each and make it all pretty and stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
For that, I was just gonna say, wouldn't it better
to send it to friends because at the end of
it you've got all your friend group.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
Well I don't think you know this as a male,
but it's quite hard to make friends as a woman
and you're like late twenties.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
It is, actually, I would say it would be hard
for guys too.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yeah, probably do you reckon it's harder for men or woman?

Speaker 2 (03:37):
That's actually a really good question.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
We should do us a little pole.

Speaker 6 (03:40):
But I think it's probably women because I feel like
men can just sit down and be like, you're like Rugby? Yeah,
how they're all blacks, don't you know.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
What they do?

Speaker 2 (03:47):
That's actually how I made my latest friends.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Do you like Rugby?

Speaker 2 (03:51):
And they're like, yeah, man, we're were.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Were the other day and we were with a small
group of people and then suddenly there was some cricket
on and then everything changed and these two I was like,
what is going on here?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
So I know what you mean? You can just like
chuck on anything in the men?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
YEA, all good stuff.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
I will say I started it as a stress thing,
and it's it's actually been more stressful.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
I love when you take on a relaxing craft and
it just becomes more stress the admin of finding a
post shop as well.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
And there yeah, and now we're very expensive.

Betrayal Season 5

Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
