I landed on an aeroplane and arrived at the air
bridge at the gate and everybody gets up, gets the
bags out, you know, sitting around. Nothing's happening. So I'm like,
I'm like kind of by at a window seats. It's
just like looking out and I was like, oh, the
lady in the air bridge is there, so it must
be coming any minute now. Nothing, nothing, nothing, And then

the air bridge starts moving to the middle door. So
it was a big plane the second door, not the
front door, the middle door.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
That's insane.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Yeah, And then it just stops halfway between the front
door and the middle door, and she's just like looking
down at the controls.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
It's raining looking, just locking.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Okay, still looking, still looking, She's still looking. So then
she moves moves it back to the first door. This
is a yeah, moves it back to the second door,
but only gets halfway.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
It can't go all the way. This feels like it
needs so I'm just looking and then she rings someone
and she's like, who's ringing? Someone's talking her through moving.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
It time like her first day moving the average.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Oh god, why she goes so skew. If you don't
go on the second door, that's no.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
They normally go the some gates, it depends what gate
you're at, but normally it's.

The second door. If it's a big if it's a
big plane, it'll be the second door.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
But some gates at Auckland Airport, yeah, they can only
do the front door.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
But she's fair for her, I reckon it would have
been like ten minutes.

She finally lines it up to the front door and
then like I'm there when they open the front door
and she's, oh, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
People, which would have made it more. It's like someone
trying to watch your parallel park.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
You're just like, oh, fuck, you just drive around the
block right and park somewhere else where they can't see you.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Speed the hell out of there. You abandon that. You
can't do that in the airport.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
You can't just take off to another gate because everyone's
there watching you.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Even things about that. I think it was her first day.
It's the first day. One day you get talked through
how to do that right, and you practice.

Speaker 1 (02:29):

How much is at least five dollars at least like
one hundred thousand dollars or one hundred million, it'll be
one hundred and something million dollars.

And then it gets up against the Doorady, you could
feel the plane and just like I was just like Jesus.

Though, she's done it and she'll never do that again. Wow,
you'd hope. So you know she's fixed, she's figured it out.

I'm just on trade me seeing how much a plane costs,
not how much it's mostly just hold things.

He used to shave odd planers. That's a plane. I
mean there's a story a year or two ago.

There's just that guy that has an old like domestic
in New Zealand plane in his backyard.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Everyone's like, and it's back. Yeah, I don't know. I
think it's a bit like but March.

You see hundreds of millions, right, yeah for a boweing,
you're like four hundred million. Yeah, and then some likes
here for six hundred and eighty five dollars or thousand,
six hundred and eighty five thousand.

Oh but the plane, no, we've got to learn to
fly it. Oh yeah, we will need it.

None of these planes that I can see for sale
here would be air bridge compliant, Like they just kind
of you open the door and your half way right seven,
just buy Can you just buy a sister willingly?

I don't know.

It feels like that you should be running some teaks.
But the thing is, you can buy a car. You
don't have to have a license to buy it. A yeah,
but it's got to be like warranted and registered and stuff.

Right, yeah, but so does a plane. It does, I'm
pretty sure.

Okay, have you not seen the sticker when you get
on a plane? I tell you the road us charges
on it. Yeah, that's why they take off so quick.
It's actually, you know, because they have only basically got
a thousand meter runway, so the road user charges are
like very little. But yeah, the next time you're getting

on the plane, you'll see the little sticker on the
crumpet window with the whole punch you can actually asked
to see the warrant ridge when you get on a plane.
Getting on, can I see the warrant and registration place,
Just to make sure that you know this is a
roadworthy Vega.
