Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the Zidium podcast network. It's Fleachborn and Hayley's a
little bit of pot. Welcome to a little bit of
pod producer Shannon Zen. Yes, and the crop potting continues. Yeah,
you really recently got a crop pot because you were
sucking a lot of food at the moment for health reasons.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Yeah, and also just it felt like time my frontal
lobes developed and it felt like, okay, time to crop.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
That's how I celebrated my frontal lobe developing.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
I was describing you to someone but only like wasn't
including an age, And I said, you crocheted, and you
love a crop pot. Yes, and you watched World War
two documentaries.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
And your lover as a magician.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Yeah. Someone would assume you were in a retirement home.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Yeah, the nicest possible way. Yeah, no, that's you know
you can't eat solids.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Ye. Well, I've made a new recipe in the crockpot,
so had us. The first one I did was Shannon's recipe'
well Carwhen just I just was eating it out in
the booth and Carlen I told her what it was
and she said, oh really, so I don't know it's good.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
I didn't jingle redacted.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Wait are you following proper recipes like online or are
you free styling?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Kind of freestyling?

Speaker 3 (01:11):
So I used it's wild for the first time owning
a crop pot.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I have never cooked chicken thighs before.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
But.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
The best part of the chicken.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Yeah, So I was like, well, maybe the crop pot's
the time to do it.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
So I like a good sear on a thigh first though, But.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
If you're going to use any chicken in a crop pot,
you use a breast because it's better in a crop
pot because it's not dry.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Yeah, I think.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Well, I cooked my first chicken thigh and it's quite
scary with the croc pot. The game of not giving
yourself salmonella but also not making it mush.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah, you don't want to wear Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
So I was cooking a pesto pasta pesto and quotations. Well, yeah,
so I did look this part up. I said, can
I put pasta in there? And everyone said yes. The
last thirty minutes you could put in yoki in itkie.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
And they might actually not be I did it all.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
For the yucky. It was perfect because thirty minutes ago
all my chicken had shredded and it kind of had
a little bit of you know, the witness.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Were using the dairy chickens, the chicken from the dairy
or market only just go to the supermarket.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
It's so much cheap pies. And the Diary as well.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Yeah, okay, there's mints, there's there's drumsticks, there's steaks.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I mean they've got sizzlers. I bet they've got sizzlers
cheese in the middle.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
It's genuinely so much cheaper than the supermarket. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Probably, I bought some chicken. You said it was astronomal.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
But it always expires like the next day.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
But that's fine. I am the next like you are.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Do you think the Diary is buying the reduced to
clean chicken from the supermarket rebadging it as one that
is fresh.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Yeah, but I think the crop pots a way for
me to go.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Now, But you know what did you put in? Okay?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
So I put a chicken, yes, yeap, pisto bottle of
pisto cream cheese okay, yep, and then an onion it's fine,
and then nookie and was it good? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
It was great.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Like I mean, like I don't have great taste buds
and I'm not good at cooking. No, but like I
mean I ate it and like I just ate a
bowl of it now and it reheated.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Good. Okay, this is good.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
This is going really well in adulting.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
How many days will this one day old chicken?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Last year, I've got six servings out of there, so
that's six days over because I eat it lunch and
did I ate the same thing for lunch.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
And okay, okay, I just three days.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I just picked something cook.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yeah, it's cooked, it's reheating, that's the roll of the dice.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
It fine, that's fine. I didn't grow up with the microwave,
so I just from get it really hot and then
I just wait for it to cool down. Then.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Really, I think we're really proud of you here.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
We are. Actually yeah, are you proud?

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Very proud? Yeah? Good, yeah, proud around. She's out there living,
she's she you know what, she's not dead
