Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the Zidium Podcast Network.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
It's Fleechborn and Hayley's a little bit of pod. Welcome
to a little.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Bit of pod.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Lovely producer Shannon, I believe and I missed this and
I'm so gud it because I was out in town
the other night and I saw everyone in their fishnets
and feathers and glitter, and I remembered Rocky Horror Picture
Show is in town, and.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
You went, Yes, I'm a big fan of Rocky Horror,
the movie picture show, but the stage show, it's just Rocky.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Horror, my favor made in New Zealand. Yeah, no, it
wasn't made.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
The guy was Richard O'Brien is from Hamilton.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
He hears those fun toilets and Hamilton was filmed.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
But no I know that he wrote the music.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Yeah yeah, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Well and it's just turned fifty years old city. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Man, So I went to see the musical and man,
it is the boomers Eras tour out. Oh for sure,
it is so funny, Like I love it because I'm
such an extra girly as well. Yeah, I went to
a matinee performance. It was one pm and all the
masks were it's the best. All the pums were out
in their fish nets and corsets and wigs, and I
was just like, I am here for this.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Did you dress up?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:09):
We bought last minute, so I just been all black,
just to be the vibes, but not dress up. But
I witnessed something while watching the show. I think I
saw the start of a couple's downfall.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Brilliant, okay, amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
So we were sitting, We were right up in the
god seats, all the way at the back, so everyone
there wasn't like huge theater people, you know down the
front everyone's singing along. Yeah, we were up with people
who I think didn't really know what they were getting into,
is what I'm trying to say.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
It's been around so long, you kind of know, right, I.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Would have thought so, And you know, I was there.
I was time warping and everything. The couple next to
me as some of the characters came out obviously very
scantily dressed, and like, you know, it's a controversial, lots
of drag, the man and the couple a good woo yeah,
like to the you know, yeah, I don't want to

(02:04):
use the words, even though it's the words and the
songs of you know, but Frank Confert's character.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Sweet Transvesta transit.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Can basically like the man.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
And this couple gave a big woo and a clap
like we all did, and his girlfriend did not move.
She was not having a bar. And then I felt
her poshure change towards me, like she shifted he wooed
towards me for them, and I felt them kind of
whisper for a bit, and then for the restorn.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
A Horror come in and join us.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Just got himself a coffee from Hamilton.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Well, the guyrien from Hamilton.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Statue, so just catch you up. Shannon was at Rocky
Horror and then she saw it. And then when they
came out, they did the boyfriend did a woo and
the other girlfriend's body languages changed yeah, And.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
So then I felt the whisper and I felt her
cheft towards me. For the rest of the show, neither
one of them clapped for anything, like time time everyone
stood up and danced and they stayed sitting.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Her face was like thunder.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
She was so upset, and I was just like, girl, Like,
the whole point is like this is so fun, But
I think they knew what they were coming into because.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
They were somewhere else, but like it's.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
The most famous thing if advertising is kind of yeah,
we knew what we're getting into.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
I will say the show was twelve plus, which I
thought was wild. I would have thought it's sixteen at least.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
This was like gratuitous, a full six. But you don't
see the pe go into the vent.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
But like it's still pretty intense, did it.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Was it one of the ones where people throw the things,
throw the toast?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yes, there was?

Speaker 4 (03:49):
There was.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Ever it was so well done. It was the UK.
It was the first time in fifteen years they've come here,
so it's a big deal.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
But I just was like, this couple is going home
to either break up or not speak for a few
more hours. It was just so awkward, and I was
just like, girl, just get into the time warp. It's
just to jump to the left if you're going.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
To do it right. When you go to the Rocky Hurry,
you take a backpack and then that you take rice, toast, confiti,
toilet paper, playing cards, newspapers, water pistols, noises or noise
makers or bells, flashlights and glow sets and party hats.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
They were selling like a bunch of those things as
well as mad.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yeah, it's just like a cult.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
It's so fun. Yeah, so like, god, I want an
update on this couple.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
I know. And I was just like, come on, girl,
and I wanted to, like durin the time Warf, be like,
come jump to the left with me, like I wanted
to camaraderie with her. But I was also like, she's
a sour bit.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
She's not she's not there that she's not in the
right mindset. No, oh, that's I'm sorry to hear that
you were dragged down.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Oh I mean I was not dragged down. I jumped
to the left, step to the right, girl.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Good girl. Did you put your knees in time?

Speaker 3 (04:54):
No, I say, I struggled with that.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
What about your powervic thrust?

Speaker 3 (04:57):
No, I was good at that.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Did you go and say, yeah, yeah, of course. Okay,
well let's do the time more again
