You know, I've been going on about these renovations and
they're finished. There was one little thing that was annoying
me about the reno's and they had all this nice
new painted walls, all these nice new you know that
little square of carpet bits and what do you mean
a little square of card you.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Mentioned and I can't undersay it. There's a cart in
the carpet.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Oh yeah, look, it doesn't matter. It's not the house.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
It's Honestly, I walked in and I was like, jump.
The whole house looks gorges. And I was like, it's
it's you're gonna have to it's a redo.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
It was the old door handles on a couple of doors.
Oh yeah. I was like, you know.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
What, I'm going to change these myself.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Oh god, here we go, here we go. Never done
that before? How do you even do it?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
It's actually quite complicated.

Door had nice doorknobs, aren't cheap, so you don't want
to buy them, And.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Like, well, yeah, so I figured I like watch some
you too, some tutorials.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
It's not just put it in the handle.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Put in the hand.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
You can do the internal and you've.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Got to get it off. But you've got to pump
the door handle off. There's a little pinhole. Who knew
that was on the door handle. So I get those
off and I take up all the screws and there's
just a hole in the door. I'm like, oh fuck,
I'm in now. Likewise, I have to do this now.
Otherwise I have to embarrassingly ask a professional for a pound.

Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
And so I went to the yeah, the hardware still,
bought some door handles.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Nice and got some nice with some oh what did
you go?

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Like a brushed kind of a brass steel, like a
brushed darker colored and yeah, and so I put them on.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Oh my god, I did it all myself. Well done.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
And I just stood there. You know, when you do something,
you just stand there looking, and then you.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Go to the kitchen to do so you look back
at the door You're like, hell yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
And then so they've been on a few days now,
and every time I open the door, I'm like.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
And I give it a go. I'm like, still it's nice.
So and I did it myself with a tutorial easy,
so good.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I don't think I could put one on if there
wasn't the hole already there, because you've got a carve out.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Then when we were renovated, it's incredible and we've got
like solid codywood doors, like these huge TV doors and
sort of cutting these holes in them. You're like, you
get one shot. Yeah, so nerve wracking. So yeah, you
had the hole, so you kind of half to that.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah, but I may have to make sure everything already
fit the hole because there's different size everything.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Wow, well done, do you do that? Thank you?

Speaker 1 (02:25):
You know, sometimes you go into a new building and
you do this and the handle goes the wrong way handle.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Yeah, everything was the right way round. It was beautiful. Yeah,
upside down new townhouse handles and you want to all.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
These places are going under Oh no, this construction companies
put handles.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I need to keep flitch Flitcher's handles.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Glitcher's handles construct anything didn't do so great handles.

That would be my tagline on my van.

When I see a business and they've got their sign
written email and it's a yeah it's a Yahoo or
a Gmail or a hot on the other day, on
I would have taken the money you took to get
that sign printed on your van and paid someone to
sit you up at domat.

I generally would want people to leave me alone. But yeah,
it is embarrassing. It's a business. Very proud of you
dying as well, putting up my own shelves and whatnot.
I've been sharing that on my socials. If it's quite hard.

I did some ship they didn't go as well, so
we won't talk about that.

Yeah, I've really touched my drilled a couple of holes
and had the aluminium framings had to go and then
to the right.

Yeah, now you've got a hole. I've been like screwing.

house is hundreds of them.
