Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the Zitium podcast network.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
It's Fleetforn and Hayley's it's a little bit.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Of pod Welcome to a little bit of pod now
producer Shannon.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
She's been recognized.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
She has been recognized, and she she jumped into an
uber I believe because you also don't have a car
to your.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Shannon, No, I just I just flood around.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
So you did, do you remember you did have a
car and it got flooded.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Well, yeah, so I had a car and there was
a lot of tragedies with that car. But every time
it rained, it flooded. And then the flooding cards caused
black mold, and I bhistled it. But it turns up
black molds like a little more serious than bustle.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
It is a bit, it's a bit beyond.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
It's kind of burned the car level. Even exit mold goes, yeah,
it doesn't stretch before we spread on a black.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Money not for you that it wouldn't pass a waft
and so it just was not warranted for a bit
and then I was like, it's time to scrap.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Is there a black mold tick box when you get
a waff use?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
But also it had like ten other issues A yeah,
so that car was scrapped shockingly got four hundred dollars
for it. But I don't own a car, and I
was ubering home from the airport. Iber put my address
in and obviously so apartments and the CBD have names,
like the apartments.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Have like a manna.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah, well, like my apartment has a real name. I've
accidentally said it on ere once. I won't do that again.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
We call it mith Manner.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Yeah, he's a noun.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
And then the word apartments. When I uber, I just
put my actual address, not the apartment.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Then let's say Apple apartments.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Yeah, so I put in my address and then as
soon as I get and the guy goes, ah, are
we going to Apple Apartments? And he goes oh, and
he like starts laughing, and I was like yes, okay.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
And then he uber driver.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
And then he goes, oh, I used to work in
peace control and I've spent a lot of time there.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
The saga continues.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
God, I was.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Just like, oh, okay. I kind of laughed at it,
and then he starts to just tell me every horrific story.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Because okay, because when I think of an apartment, a big,
multi level apartment block, I'm like how does anything infest there?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Well, and that's the thing, because we don't get flies
because I live too high up.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Yep, that's nice, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Well, No, I've been at two thousand meters on Tatamack End.
There's big blowflies up there.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
I think, just something about the city center. According to
my research, they don't go above level four in my
apartment or like any form of bug. Never seen a
spider or a cockroach or anything.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Now that at one point for mis man?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Is that because that guy that drives uber now finished?
He did it? Okay, man is infestination? Listen to this.
Flies can actively fly up to three and a half
to six thousand feet under their own power. But what
a specialized alpine species, and wind currents can carry them
as high as six and a half thousand meters.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Wow, so there you go.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Flies can go to level five.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Okay, but maybe you're just a cleaner. You don't have
nice food for them.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Yeah, maybe the pigeons get them. Who nice?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Yeah, the pigeons get them. Maybe they don't want your
dairy chicken.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah the pigeon's broken all the time. But no, So
my uber driver is telling me every horrific story and
I said, what's the worst, Like, tell me more. I
don't know why, but you know, I was in for
a half an hour drive, so I was just like,
tell me. And he starts telling me about like the
most derelict people ever. He was like, there were so
many bed bugs that you couldn't see the mattress. He

(03:33):
was like, it was so infested. It was like I
don't know how someone lived there. He was like, it
was the most disgusting thing. He's like, control me.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
You can't feel it through the myth scams. That's the
grimmest thing I reckon I've seen.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yes, just starts telling me about all these bed bugs
and he said that was the most common thing because
they said, please don't tell me it's rats and stuff.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
And so how long because you we've talked about miss
Mana over the years and you re signed, Yeah, how
much longer we've gone this leek.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
I've got like ten months, but I'm planning on resigning.
I spoke with my friend.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
We rushed into this resigning.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I do love living there, like I truly have never
been happier with the place I've lived.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Okay, who and who if you are to say, if
you are happy.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Like it's cheap, and also like, yeah, it's really handy
for me at times, So can we just not put
her off?

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Okay, oh yeah, okay, own a car.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
I have a car park in the city center. That's
a hot commodity for my friends to use my car.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Have you thought about leasing that out to other people
in the building.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Yeah, so in the building. There's there's an ad board
in my building, and there's this one guy who gives
twenty dollar haircuts, and I have considered no, that's.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
How you die. Yeah, but that's probably where the license
coming from.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Gosh, yeah, no, I've thought about it, but I haven't yet,
but stay tuned.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Okay, well, another champter a myth man.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
But so we still haven't actually been invited up, the
three of us, but I'm gonna remember there's not enough space.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Yeah, we don't know. I f that you can only
host one person at.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
A time, and Carlin's taken our spots.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
