Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the Zidium podcast network.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
It's fleet and it's a little bit of pod.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Welcome to a little bit of pod.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Okay, I've got chickens right yeah, and they're very handy creatures.
You put food in their mouth, will they PLoP eggs out?

Speaker 3 (00:16):
I will say it.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
The eggs haven't been to be honestly, they went through
a long like light light. So when there's a seasonal change,
they go through a period where they like cut off
the back laying again. Now I actually have an abundance.
I'll bring you something.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
I'm the same and winter I hide inside.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Well my period as well. Do you think they're sitting
in the freaking out going, Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
At the daily chicken period basically is what we're what
we've got on our hands. So they've been a little
bit quiet lately. But we're back, but we're back. We're
back laying. I'll bring something. This is okay, something happened.
Chickens are gross. I was gonna say foul pun intended.
Chickens a fowl pun intended. They're like they're gross with
our little dinosaurs. They eat stuff that people doesn't don't

(01:00):
expect them to eat.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
And then flamed klohaka your one god.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yeah, and then that prolapsed thing. And then and they
eat mice whole and those eggs.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
You're saying, they can eat a whole mouse high.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
If I get a mouse and a mousetrape, I just
take it to the chickens and throw and one will
be like straight down the peg the mouse.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
I don't know who eats what.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Meats.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
You need a diagram of what animals eat.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
What can just eat everything. They are carnivorous. And when
I trap possums and rats, I put them in the
maggot bucket and then the flies lay the maggots. They
fall love the maggots anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
They lay eggs.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Actually, I tank back. I don't want your eggs. I
want cage eggs from the supermarket. You know, they've just
lived a life on paletts and antibody.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I haven't even touched it.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
And it's actually cleaner than.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
On all sides. It's beautifully clean.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Okay, So check this out.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
That's one of them. Wait, what is that? That's like
some kind of orange brisket. It looks like the top
of an orange mushroom. Here's the other one, broken open,
looks like a file with no skin discuss. So some
research one of the chickens had some sort of malfunction
and they were laying eggs without shells, so.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
That's like a cooked e but the shower, but the
egg was all moolied up like a scrambled.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
This podcasting discussion. I opened it.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
What isn't I opened the lamb box. It's like what
grab on the eggs out and I was like, I
picked it up and I was like rubbery to the touch,
and I was like, take a photo, and I put
it into AI. I'm like, what's going on here.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
In his hand? His chicken gloves?

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
I broke it open and I sniffed it.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Why would you?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
And I immediately was dry reaching It didn't smell like
you know, a real proper.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
It does what But Carwen raised a good point, why
does it look like a deviled egg?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Have you put?

Speaker 1 (02:57):
It's got curry, it's got curry powder.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Upon research, the chicken laid an egg no shell involved,
but the yolk and the white became sort of scrambled,
and then it had the membrane around it that's on
the inside of that, so that held.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
It together while it kind of dried out. So because
why don't eggs cook more, is that the shell just
is enough of a layer to not Yeah, no, it's
not hot. It's just it's not hot enough. Well yeah,
membrane and the inside.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
But take the shell off because I guess it's sort
of like.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
It even so much as that sit.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
So you imagine like whipping up a scrambled egg and
then putting it in a transparent case and just letting
it sit, not cook, just sit.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
I want I want to get out of my skin.
I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I'm so I find this stuff fascinating, Like that's amazing.
I picked it up, I broke it. It wasn't like
it wasn't an immediate punch in the face, like a
rotten eggs an immediate punch in the face. This one
got in and worked on me from the inside out
into your childhood, got into.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Got into the back of the brain.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
In the back of the brain's like like that you
know when you poo, Yeah, but you can't sell.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
It's like when you like scratch like your ear or something.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
When you when you got an earring in the air
and gets infected and you squeeze it in the puss
and you're like I got into that and I was like, okay,
I had and I had a spat, not a spew,
but a spat, and then I was like look and
I went and started to wash my hands. But then
my brain's like, remember that thing we smelled? And I
was like, why would you smell?

Speaker 3 (04:41):
God, you're weird.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I wouldn't give that experience to myself.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Also, my internal consistency was like a Joe, stop showing
us this photo.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Thank god.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
The listening that is like.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
A hard that. There was two of them. So I
was like, I'm gonna have to, like, you know, put
a chicken out of its misery, but it stopped.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
I don't want to start. I don't I don't want
your eggs anymore. I was just saying, you don't bring
enough eggs in anymore. I don't want them.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
I don't want them. I want my I want my
nice in caves, just stair all.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
I want my
