Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the Zidium podcast network. It's fleet's a little bit
of pod. Welcome to a little bit of pod. And
one of us has a parking fine. Oh not me.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I go straight to master the ranger that I drives
ridges to Ford. They may be getting my parking infringement.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Wait, so if you get a parking infringement that surely
they had forwarded on. They just absorbed that. I actually
don't know the last.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Two years, I don't know if I've had a speeding
fine or a parking ticket or anything.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Wow, okay, I need to get in this ambassador life.
Who would I be a motor vehicle ambassador for scooter?
What about a sixty brand? Come on? No? What about Aldi?
It could be an Audi ambassador. I don't think you
could volts and Golf. That would be cute, wouldn't they

(00:55):
a brand new Voltswagen? Well, it's it's not you two,
it's not me. It's producer car one. Naughty, naughty producer
car one.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Look not like look tonight offense not my fault. So, Shannon,
I had a chicky little meeting with Apple TV not
to break.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Did you get us a Ted Lasso interview?

Speaker 4 (01:16):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:16):
We were actually pitching our own series.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Oh Okay, That's Crazy follows the producers of Fletch, Worn
and Hailey and the Daily Riggers of.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
What behind the scenes of dealing with three tyrannical talents.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
You like, think, what's that morning show one that they
had the news one? But it's the producers.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah right, watch that.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
But we were going to this meeting at the park Hyat.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Or what did you order? Would you see the All Blacks?
Because they were there the other day. My friends said
that they get get a whole floor. They just book
a whole floor.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Do you remember when we were there doing the Jason
Moore in a few years ago and they said, you know,
just order any drinks or anything. And I ordered a
glass of champagne and then another news person was like,
oh hell yeah. And then the woman came over and
she's like, no, we need coffee, birch. I was like, oh,
it's I wait to pay for it. Well, they said,
you know, get what you want, and so Carlon got

(02:17):
a glass of coke and I had a water.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
It was two pm.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Guys, I would have gone Long Island nicedy because you
get more booths, you get more booze, and it's the
most expensive.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Yeah, yeah, well because of this where you parked down
by what is that area called doesn't matter, and there's
like a little parking Wilson whatever, one of those companies,
and the first hour is free. And I know because
I was parked there before and we only needed an hour.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
We weren't going to chat to them for that long, okay.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
And so I was like, great, walk up to the
little machine, put my little license plate and it's like,
you're on your first hour free, add more and I went,
don't need to add more? Perfect, We leave, we go
to this meeting, We come back and we were like,
ha ha, that's so good. We don't have to have
parking because that's just doesn't happen in Auckland. Come back,
I'm about to pull out, and goes there's a parking

(03:11):
ticket on.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Your classical one, because sometimes they just that flat open
car park down past the fish markets.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Yes, say fuck them?

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Really, why they've done They've done me duty on this
ship before too.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
How do you get the hour free? You're probably not
reading the rules. You've probably got to have a you've
probably got to buy a fish, not a ticket.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
I don't think, and I don't think I hate to
buy a fish. That would be really discriminatory.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
There's a fishmonger, yeah, but it's a fish market.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
You just get like a prawnskuer. I didn't fish market parks.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
They've got that specific. I just used it as well,
how do you get the free hour?

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Then? So anyway I opened the thing eighty damn dollars crazy.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
I'm like, this doesn't make any sense.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
So I'm like, I'm out of here. We've been at
work for too long. I'll sort this later, go home.
Email them and I'm like, hey, like this is what
I did. You can look at the cameras like we're
literally like you'll see us walk over, be like oh
three hour perfect, leave come back within that hour.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
We didn't stay longer. We were way shorter than an hour.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
And anyways, they email back and say, well, yes, you
might have done this, but you had to click the
next button or something.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
There's a next button.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Apparently there's another button. I don't think we saw it.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
No, And then that's what That's what happened to me,
because I was definitely under an hour. It was like
first hour free and you're like, oh, okay, cool, and
we're as fifteen minutes and came back to a ticket.
You had to validate your validate and put in your
license constructions.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
I got there.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
It recognized that I was in within my free hour
because it recognized.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
If it's read your plate, then that's it, right. Yeah,
on your side, that's silly.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
I emailed them and I was like, I'm so sorry,
Like I thought i'd done the right thing. It said
I had an hour. I didn't need to add more,
so I didn't. They emailed back.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
They were sternish.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
But the and is now down to thirty dollars because
they've said, we forgive you blah blah blah, don't do
this again. You can agreed to our terms and conditions
when you drove in.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
I was like, sorry, Oh so I didn't see them
on a big billboard I was driving through.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
But now it's down to thirty dollars for their administration fees.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Ah what that ship hourly finest paper?

Speaker 5 (05:22):
Yeah you're fine, it's like a thick. Does it cost
that much to like email? Someone charge somehow?

Speaker 1 (05:29):
That's an expensive hourly rate. When you've got it down,
I reckon you can still get it free, though, I reckon,
you can still get it free.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
I've already paid it. I was too scared because it
was like pay with them four days.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
But you.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Should have got the Long Island ice tomate that work
this whole experience.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Did you just suck it like a little I think
I suck it up like a little bitch. Yeah, that's
just keel over like.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah, I've showed them myself, belly.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
