light cheating, because not cheating in the game of scrabble,
but cheating on her partner, because we think that you've
gotten a bit close with this person whom you actually

I would be more offended if you accused me of
cheating on scrabble than my partner.

Speaker 1 (00:36):

Last time we talked about this, we were like, we
need to know more about the scrabble partner who lives
in New York City.

The only thing I knew about them is that their
name was MJ which we were a girl or a.

Guydy Michael Jackson from the dead.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
It could be, And they had a dragon profile picture.
So after we had.

So everyone, you can't pick your prop, like, there's only
like a mojus you can pick from. Yeah, goldfish naturally Yeah.
Cue Q and so I went back to m J
and I said, happy anniversary.

We just hit fifty games.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
It's giving flooting.

So I said happy anniversary and they said happy university.
Can't believe we hit fifty games together. I said, this
is incredible. I said, just a few questions for you,
because I was like, how do I ask without sounding
like a piste on age six location?

And you remember how we used to do on amigl
being like, hey, are you over eighteen?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yes? And you'd be like yes, yeah, That's how Shannon
saw a lot of decks it is.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
I was an amagal regular. So no, I said to
m J, I said, tell me about yourself. Are you
male or female? And he said I'm a male? So
we were right. Yeah, I said, what do you do
for work? You seem to play a lot of scrabble?

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Oh wow, calling him out, Well do you, babe? Yeah?
Well we've played fifty over fifty.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Games with each other since June tenth with them playing
and he says that he works at a university and
he lectures for sports science.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Who so you're playing against a real smart cookie here.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I'll tell you our ratio. So you can see with
the games. So we've played.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Now, we've played more since the last podcast. He has
won thirty five games and other one seventeen.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
So he's beating me, but I'm not. I'm not being
you know, pummeled.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
No, and it's nice to have that challenges It challenges me.

Up against our university lectuer science. So then he's like,
what are you? Are you male? Female? What do you do?

And I said, I'm a female. I live in New
Zealand and I work in radio. And he was like,
oh okay, because I forgot that Shannon's a ginger neutral names. Yeah,
I said, I'm in New Zealand, I work in radio.

And he's like, oh okay, cool, cool, cool north of South.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Island, so he knows. So I said north and he
was like cool. And then I played one of my
best moves ever.

I got over one hundred points. I played courts on
a triple words.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
On a triple court, says in the stone, right, gotcha.
If you're it doesn't matter if you're a university lecturer
or whatever. You're going down with that.

Some of my finest word stuck it. And then so
we were kind of chatting.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
About who we were I played courts and he said,
I see how it is dot dot dot.

And he hasn't messaged since playing.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
We're still playing with each other, but he's not messaging you.

But there's also someone else.

I'm in a long standing games where then I'll just
quickly tell you about doctor Knockers.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
So him and I, Shannon, I don't think he's a doctor.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Not show you Carwen doctor Knockers. So we played two
games together at the same time. We're currently on our
twenty sixth game with each other. He's won sixteen, I've
won ten. So he's he's just playing.
