Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the ZM Podcast Network, it's Fletch Vaughan and Hayley's
Little Bit of Pod.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. Brooke joins us. Well,
and Vaughan will join us. He's coming, he's just doing
a poo.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Is he?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Also, he gets sidetracked by things and shiny things at reception.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
He does, but yeah, he doesn't poo fast enough.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
No.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
When you talk about pooing, actually, that's why Brooke's here.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Uh-oh. From the night show.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Brooke, I did half a poo last week in the
whole week.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
It's not healthy.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
And it got us talking about I needed to get
things moving a little bit, fibre pills. Fletch was like,
what about a rounded diet with fruit and vegetables? And
I said, I'm too busy for that.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Fuck off.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
And this is where producer Shannon drops in a little
bit of information.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
That Brooke..

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Has been, we were just talking about poops, Han, and
that you take a bit long, and Brooke's here to
talk about the fact that she raw dog eats chia seeds.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Bro, Brooke comes in the office, and she's like munching, munching, munching.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Crunch, crunch, crunch.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
And I said, simply, what are you eating? And she
tells me that she's been eating raw chia seeds. And
I said, oh, that's dangerous. And she goes, is it?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I'm like, yeah, it is. Yeah, you bet it is.
Ha ha ha, finger guns.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I was like, no, no, no. Like, that's actually really,
really bad for you. And then I was like, maybe
I'm being a bit dramatic. So I like pull up
Google subtly to check I'm like correct. And it is
like incredibly bad for you. And so I start explaining
to Brooke why. You've got to load them up and
puff them up.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
They do not advertise that well enough, can I just say.
I just sort of feel like it's an everyone knows situation.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
No. But it's like eating sand.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Well, no, but what it is is chia seeds are
the most absorbent thing ever. Now it makes sense. They
go in your belly raw and it's absorbing all your
bile and it sticks to your organs. Your other nutrients.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
I have felt, you know, now that you mention that.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
I have felt a little bit like off.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
I'm just like, things aren't growing like they used to.
I thought, because, you know, it's just like, is it menopause?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Is it 24 years old? Could be. You never know.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Yeah, they don't advertise that well enough. And also, I
came into that room like I was doing a sales pitch.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Ladies, let me tell you. The ladies craze. The seeds. Raw,
dry chia seeds, it's risky eating them because they can
absorb up to 27 times their weight in liquid. Swell up,
block your throat or digestive tracts.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Which initially I was like, could this be like a
tapeworm for the mouth?

Speaker 2 (02:20):
This isn't even like you crazy gal with you. You know,
a freak is so crazy. He eats his kiwi fruit skins.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
You are playing with fire.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Soap these bad boys.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Put them in a pud.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I know. Put them in a smoothie.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I was more like textually, if you've watched Finding Nemo,
there's this like opening scene where it's all the fish
eggs and it's like Nemo's the cracked fish egg. I go,
that's what a chia seed's going to taste like.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
No, not at all.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
You're talking about caviar, hon.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
If you want to walk into a room and have caviar.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Can I give an extra Shannon's hack? Just what I've
been doing for my breakfast recently. Do it, girl. So
you know how I told you about my jomlets? I've
moved on from the jomlet.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
That's an omelette made in a jar.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Yes. Now what I'm doing is I make chia pudding
with protein up and go. Oh, yeah, nice. And so
I soak my chia seeds in protein up and go,
and it's a full meal, man.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
It's incredible. No one's paying tax on that whole thing
apart from Shannon.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
And Mr.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Cheer. What are cheer seeds owned by the church too? Well, okay,
the cheer seed people. Cheers Christ. Cheers Christ.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Owned the cheers.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Okay, the cheer seed people will be paying some taxes.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Brooke, can you do that? Could you put them in
a bloody.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
I'm just trying to say, is there a benefit to this?
Like if you were trying to like hold in water,
like if you're trying to.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
It's incredibly dangerous.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Oh, okay. 15 to 30 minutes to form a gel.
And they're actually really good. They flush you out when they're.
Because they're playing to all that other stuff. We need
to soak them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can we just not
do that again? I will soak them.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
I'll just have to find a new crunchy little morsel.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I don't know. Nuts.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Chips.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Chips are pretty good. I can speak to that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bougie mix. Have they been clogging up your system, though, chips,
over the years? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Different system, though. Heart.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Valves.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Those sorts of stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
God, they're crunchy and delicious, aren't they?

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Well, a PSA, soak your chia seeds. Soak your chia seeds. Please.
