Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Now, recently I was making some pizzas from scratch all
the way up because I use my KitchenAid mixer for
things like dough.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Bread, pizza bases. Also, Fletch, you use yours for biscuits?
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I'm sorry. I'm allowed to use my KitchenAid mixer when
or whenever I choose.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Not to or to use it.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
For whatever you want. Yeah, sure.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
But I'm just saying branch out a little bit, you know.
I don't know if your basic biscuits need.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
I don't know if you should be eating pizza dough.
It's not good for you. No, with spelt flour. What's that?
It's that, like, grainy Italian flour, eh? Yeah, hyaluron protein,
so that's a bit of you. Oh, okay.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Hyaluron protein doesn't stick to the bench when you're rolling
it out. It's actually really delicious spout flour pizza. But
one of the pizza flavours we're going to do, chicken
cranberry and brie. Okay. Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Which is a delicious combination. How embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
But again, it's a very white girl thing.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Oh, yeah, yeah. You might as well have a fucking panini,
you know what I mean? No, come on now. Calm
down with your panini. And a mum getting a giant
muffin and a cappuccino. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
I'll get a bowl because I'm really tired. You're like,
it's not extra coffee, Mum, but it's fine.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
No, it's just a whole lot of extra milk, and
it's going to make you funny in the tummy because
you always say I've got to watch my milk. So
we needed some smoked chicken, and one of the other
flavours was Hawaiian, so we needed some ham.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Already sounds like it'd be cheaper to buy this pizza
from a shop. Yeah. Oh, yeah, but, you know, it's
not going to be as good. So go to the deli.
And I'll say where this was. This was Pack and
Save at Westgate.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Now go up to the deli. And this man is
working behind the deli counter. He comes over. He says,
how may I help you?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
I said, can I please have 250 grams of smoked
chicken breast? It's all sliced and everything.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Yum, I love it.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Immediately I knew this man was not just simply a
deli worker, he was a performer at heart because it
was like watching a ballet. So they've got the little
sheet of wax paper they pull out to put the
meat on. He pulled it and he went both hands
and he grabbed a corner each by pinching his pointing
finger in his thumb and he went.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
And pulled it out like a magician would pull a handkerchief. Oh, lovely.
And he pulled it out. And then he flipped it
and laid it down. And laid it down like he
was doing a. Making a bed.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Like he was doing a hotel bed and he laid
it out like that.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
And I was like.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Do you think that's how he lays down his dental dams.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
On a date?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I would love to talk to anyone that's used a
dental dam. Morgan tells me, Morgan's sexologist, our dear friend,
always tells me off when I roast dental dams. I
was like, Morgan, have you ever used a dental dam?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
She was like, no.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
A dental dam can be used for both males and females. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
You can just wrap it around.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I thought it primarily went over the... Yeah, you put
it over the ball.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
No, no, no.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
If she's ever used it in terms of like... Having
a man go down on her. Having a man go
down on her.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Right.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
And she flicks out a little plastic sheet for him
to lick through.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
And if you even wanted anyone to lick your balls,
you could just lay one of those down.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
You could lift the shaft, put a dental dam between
the shaft and balls.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Oh, I don't want anyone licking my balls.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Why not?

Speaker 1 (03:09):
The balls are not to be licked. Oh, fuck off,
you old breeches. Oh, what old vanilla non-lick over here.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Get in.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Don't neglect the balls. Don't neglect the balls. Carry on.
So he flicks out this dental dam. The meat dental dam.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Then he's like, he grabs his tongs. He's got them
on like some sort of whip chain mount.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Gets them out, click, click, gives them a little click, click.
And then he goes, he's not just going to give
me whatever chicken's on top. He's going to find me.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
The creme de la chicken. The creme de la chicken
of the cream of the cricket. Did he know that
you were doing this for a pizza?

Speaker 2 (03:41):
No.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
No, and he went flip, flip, flip, and he found
the piece and he pulled it out with the tongs
and looked at it and then laid it out on
the dental dam as well with.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
A flick of the tongs.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Oh, lovely.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Flick of the tongs. This dude, and he was looking
and he could tell when he.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Was getting towards what he thought was approaching 250 grams,
he started looking for smaller pieces. Oh, yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Then he.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
grabs the front of the dental dam loaded with chicken
and slides it off into one hand. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
And like does this.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Loop over the scales and goes and slides it onto
the scales and like pulls his hands back.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Almost like I shit. You're not 249 grams.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Oh, 249 grams.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
And then he looks and he's like, is that okay?
I'm like, it couldn't be. It literally is one gram.
I would have said no. It couldn't be better. Or
they would have said no. What did I ask for?

Speaker 3 (04:31):
I would have said.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Then I'm like, yeah, that's great. And then he gets
the bag that it goes in and he goes. And
he flicks it.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Boom. And it perfectly catches the air. I don't even
know how to describe what he did next. And one
fluid motion, he rolled around. And as he got the
bag up, he. kind of lifted the front end of
the dental dam into the bag and then slid the bag,
origamied it, put the sticker over and handed it.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
This is some American beauty shit, man.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Yeah, that's amazing. And I was like, whoa. And he's like,
thank you. I was like, wait, I'm not done. I
need 300 grams of champagne here. We got to watch.
We got to watch the encore performance, which was... Ballet
in motion. I just start buying more meats, I think.
I think I'm going to.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
But we're on cold cuts for the week, bitches.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Sometimes I'll get the pre-packaged sliced ham just because it's
easy and you just pick it up and you're gone. Same.
But I feel like if I'm... It's just a nice little...
Probably about midway of the shop, the deli there.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I think give them their juice.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
What supermarket is this?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
It's the Pack and Save at Westgate.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
I'm going there today.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Give this man a pay rise.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
I'm going there today and I'm going to get some meats.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Please do, and let me know if it's him.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah. Yes.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Good shit.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
It was absolutely gorgeous.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
I can't say, but I don't want everybody turning up
there and just getting someone who's slap happy, you know? No, no, no, no, no, no.
People are going to go there expecting the ballet and
they're going to be given some sort of third grade performance.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Of slap the meat.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Oh, we can't have it.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
No, we absolutely can't have it. But if you get him,
you'll know it's him.
