(00:03):
with new power Pass pro rewards by Bunnings. Know what's
been happening round, don't?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Jerry and Mini the Wholarchy Breakfast.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Welcome along to the Hierarchy Breakfast, Tuesday, the twenty eighth
of July twenty twenty six. My name's Jeremy Wells. Is
man I steal it?
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Look we are a little behind the aprill. This morning
the podcast went long. If you get the chance this morning,
go and listen to it. At There was a stunning
a stunning revelation on the podcast this morning, A shocking
revelation on the podcast this morning. Wow, don't listen to
it if you're Sam Wallas. But other than that, or
(00:39):
my mom or Ruder's mum.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Can we move forward with the information that we know?
Speaker 4 (00:45):
Is it what's going on?
Speaker 3 (00:46):
What's going Yeah?
Speaker 4 (00:46):
Yeah, I think it is.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
What's going on is can we move forward? What's been
moving back?
Speaker 3 (00:51):
And how is Ruder trying to fix that? Amazing revelations
this morning.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
I've just watched a woman win a game of bowls
entirely blind, and that is the second most amazing thing
that's happened to me this morning.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
There have been tears in the studio.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
We're going to address it there.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Wow, welcome along. Nice to have your webs of us. Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Wow, Cherry and Mini the hold ikey breakfast.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
Deep breath everyone, compose yourself, compose yourself.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (01:34):
I tell you what's going on. We just did a podcast,
as we do before the show every day. It's the
first podcast to see the sun, the first to see
in a new day, the first bite of the cheery.
And during the podcast we got on to talking about
breakfast hosts, other radio hosts on their fitness journeys.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Yeah, and obviously whenever someone gets real jack, real quick, immediately,
as lazy person, you go, well, they must have been
doing steroids or more recently Chinese research peptides. That's right,
because it can't just be that they're more dedicated than
you and work harder.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Because it turns out that Ruder over here, executive producer Ruder,
has been doing a workout in the morning and he's
coming injured today. He's on the voltaurans.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Yeah, I am, I've it appears to be something that
starts in the left glute right through the hip. Flixer
up through the lower left back up to the neck
and then also into the left shoulder and right into
the left bicet doesn't sound good, But.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
He's in his del fearer. He's working out. Well, he's
worked out, he's done even how.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Many of these have you done? Oh?
Speaker 4 (02:43):
How many? A couple of months?
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Oh? Okay, right, okay, So that's.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
Why I'm grumpy about three days a week.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, it feels like it might be a nerve thing.
You may have tweaked something. You may put a bit
of pressure, maybe because I've got some issues with my
spine and and the you know, I guess, Yeah, spinal
cord which sits inside of you, your spinal column that
goes down and if you get a desk that pushes
(03:10):
on it, then it can actually depending on how far
up it is. If it's in the neck like me,
the C four C five, then it fixed your arms
and your legs, which is kind of weird that And
so I had at me, I had it removed, and
then the two the two, the two things whatever they.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Called your vast difference removed and then tied around your.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
I had that removed as well. That was a separate thing.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
But then they pulled it out and tied it around
your spinal column.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
But such as the nerve damage that it still remains right,
so it's not any worse, but it's it's it's still
the same. So I feel like it could be nerve
related because it's gone all the way down and it's
the fact that it's one side, but it's definitely indicates.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
That it's definitely related to your workout regime. We thought,
We said this morning on the podcast, have you considered,
perhaps the world of Chinese research peptides not for that?
And yeah, that's when Ruda's blood pressure went up, his
face flushed with flushed reed purple, And yeah, no, I haven't.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Not peptides for that.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
Yeah, not peptides to that. I've been served up on
the algorithm a number of ads for And another reason
I didn't really want to talk about this on the
radios because I was worried that people would say this
sounds like an ad. It's not an ad. I've paid
one hundred and seventy seven dollars for three months worth
of peptonics.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
It's called peptonics, and the what do peptonics do? So
you're looking to project yourself?
Speaker 4 (04:34):
No? No, no, So what you do is you micro
infuse peptides copper and fuse peptides and your hero lo
where there's any gaps. And on Sunday morning, nine am,
just before churches, in the bathroom, just before housework, I
did it to myself.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Wouldn't be the first time in the bathroom with the
George time you did it and with yourself the bathroom.
I'm not telling the kids.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Well, you didn't tell the goods. So the message is
it on this?
Speaker 3 (05:05):
It was her idea.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
No, she knew about it.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
She's supportive.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
Look, she thinks. She thinks go hard, go early. So
they just like they said, and.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Go go early and inject yourself.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
And the playbook went hard and went early.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
So right, so you'll be.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
Having a successity concert on your forehead.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
So you get that. So it's got needles on it.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
Yeah, So you get a little vial of liquid which
is obviously medically sealed.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Good to go, put a timboil on top of it.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Yeah, it was actually it was actually quite quite difficult
to remove, but eventually got off and then you've got
to screw a little. I think there's twelve needles on
the top and then you just mic micro infuse it.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
And does it hurt?
Speaker 4 (05:52):
Nah, that's kind of just like someone's tapping you on
the head maybe every now and again with you know
how if you just tap your name on your head
and you just feel it a little bit.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
It's a bit like that.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
Yeah, right, And so yeah, you take it.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Take it before picture.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
We saw the before picture. What so that was day
one yesterday? Oh Sunday?
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, day one of twelve weeks supply, but
I know I need at least one break of to
give it a rest around week four or five. Okay?
Speaker 1 (06:23):
And what are you hoping for? Are you measuring it by?
Like how far forward your hairline comes? Like if it
gets to that top wrinkle there.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
Would you be heavy? Are you hoping for exactly?
Speaker 4 (06:35):
I don't want it to recede any more, Jerry?
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Oh, just is it a maintenance? Keep it?
Speaker 4 (06:40):
I feel like understanding lighting conditions. The here at the
front of my head is looking a little sad.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
I will say the lighting is brutal in here. The
lighting is directly above you, and there's.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Also brutal in the bathroom. Is it also brutal in
the airbnb? When my wife and I went for my
birthday and I said, oh shit, what's going on up there?
Is it brutal there? As well?
Speaker 6 (07:02):
It was?
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Look, I mean, you've got here, you got here, but
if you don't start doing something about it.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
You got more here than most forty seven you got most,
you got more here than most forty seven year olds.
A lot of forty seven year olds would dream to
have the the amount of.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
Look, and I've set there for the last couple of
weeks because look, I did get the package about two
and a half three weeks ago, right, and I sat
there thinking what am I doing? What have I come as?
This is what I've come to? And then I decided,
yes it is.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Oh we'll keep abresta there. Well, that's just gonna keep
it five weeks stream up.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
It's about October, non ned.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
It's the yap that keeps giving this one about October
that it's going to touch your eyebrows.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Jerry and Minni, the hold I keep breakfast.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
I mean, can we move on from the pip pie
into the hairline.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
I don't know how. I don't know how to. I
don't know how to move on. I'm so so interested,
I really want to know if they were I know
so many people are apparently so many people are doing
the pip tides at the moment, I don't really know.
I don't really know what a pip tide is, to
be honest with you. But they're promising all sorts. There's
(08:23):
weight loss ones, there's drug ones like get jacked ones.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
I've seen a few guys. I know a guy who's
a bit older than me, and he came away on
holiday and he I looked at how he stopped it
at the pool. Then I was like, cheez, you're looking
you've been better exercise. Huh. And he said pip tides
and they said, really, okay, interesting, And he looks like
(08:50):
he's different. He looks like he's been taking zeroids, does he? Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
I just that's just good because Ruda, if you just
joined us Stunning Revelation on the podcast, listen to the podcast,
you will hear in real time this whole thing unfolded.
But I'm glad that you're the canary down the mine
because I want to know first, like if you if
your feet go purple or something when you're doing this,
dick falls off and the en If it doesn't, then
(09:17):
I might try the old get Jack line.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
The purple thing seems to be an issue with the peptides,
purple and bruising.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yeah, why do you go purple when you're on the peptide?
Speaker 3 (09:25):
Something to do with blood flow, I think, right, Okay,
I don't know, it's got to be if it's purple, Yeah,
it's surely it's blood. I don't know, but I did
read an article yesterday from a doctor and that's what
got us talking about it. And he was saying that
he's got a huge amount of people that are coming
to him purple with bruising, and they've been taking peptids.
(09:46):
I don't really know much about peptid.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
No, it's sounding word peptiz Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
But I do know that they are all the rage
at the moment. I mean for me for this show, Yeah,
so I needed to get on the peptides. Well yeah,
I mean for me, there's there's this is days zero
so before as this is PEP. This is day zero PP,
which is post peptides. But this is there's BP, which
is before, which is everything that we've done on the
(10:13):
show before. It's also petrol company it is, which is
maybe what Rude is putting into it. Who knows it's
got copper and yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Yeah, so peptides, because obviously I've done months of research
and this is not just something I've just googled in
the last two minutes.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Or something that will served to you on Instagram and
you thought, you know what, you can fix it.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
Peptides are short chains of amino acids linked together by
a chemical bond. Essentially just smaller versions of protein.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
It's just basically proteins.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
Okay, So that's all that that's protein, that's all that's
being injected in.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
All that's safe. You know what could possibly go wrong?
Speaker 3 (10:49):
I mean, I suppose with like head cancer, which it
might cause.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Isn't that how the lane goes? What are what are
the rules? Are they legal?
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah? And I don't know if they are. I mean,
you got on the internet. It came from what country?
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Well, I mean the website looks American, but I do
believe it was sent vich Yeah, yep.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Okay, so that's normally heaps of good stuff coming out
of China when it comes to medical stuff. Yeah, it's true.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
I've got a virus came out of Trona one.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
Was that one? That one? So super safe?
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Yeah, it says here no side effects, so that should
be that should be right, right, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
That's right. No side effects because medicine the works never
has any side effects.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
No, that's right. No, someone sticks through? Who cares about
the big brown slim? Then and we've got Ruder's receding reversal.
Oh should I hope on the old zimpic?
Speaker 3 (11:56):
What are you going to do herblock night?
Speaker 4 (12:03):
I got a peptid for that as well, man, they
got peptizes for everything.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
Steptoe, Wow, Jerry.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
And Midnight The Hoadarchy Breakfast.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Six thirty on the Hiderchy Breakfast Time for your latest
sports headlines. Thanks to export Ultra the beer for here.
Biden Barrett will make his first All Blacks appearance of
the year in the sides opening game of the South
African Tour. He was unused in the July Test window,
with Ruben Love and Damien McKenzie preferred at first five.
Coach Dave Rennie has confirmed Barrett will play against the
(12:38):
Stormers next Saturday.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Yeah. He was kind of pressed a little bit because
they were asking him at the squad announcement yesterday though,
like what does Buden Barrett have to do to get
to get a run? And he goes and well, here's
on for you. Then he'll start against the storm.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
There it is.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Yeah, what I love about Dave Rennie. I've said this
before when I knew that we'd made the right decision
and picked the right coach, we being the board that
packed them. When you ask him a question, he looks
at the ceiling while he's answering you, and that just
shows to me a brain that's like a nuclear reactor
going off inside there.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
You think that he's looking up towards his brain.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Yeah, I think is he's rolling his eyes back into
his head and the rugby God's blessing him with the answers.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
He's not making it up. Doesn't that mean that you're
making it? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
We might need a body language expert on because one
of the means you're lying.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
A chance for key We golf fans to see the
Claret jug from midday at Auckland City's tATu Kai Square
tATu Kai Square down in Britam mart Ryan Fox will
appear on stage with the Open Championship silverware. The occasion
offers a chance to celebrate one of the country's rarest
sporting achievements.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
But I've heard this before. Remember I told you on
Saturday and I went to the North Coote tav and
the place is absolutely packed because someone had started a rumor.
Who's bringing it down there? Is this just deployed by
Takatai Square to get people down there on a Tuesday morn.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
Ever been to Tukuta Square? No know where it is?
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Is that that one with the fountains that pop up
out the floor.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Is that that one?
Speaker 1 (14:07):
That Isn't that where we ride those street dog electric
bikes around? I think that's what that is.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
And the world's oldest professional golfer, fifty nine year old
cousin Yoshi Mura, has scored his first goal in almost
four years.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Hard to score goals in golf, and I've always thought that.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
He's found the net for Japanese thirtier side for Kashimi
United and a seven zerl win in the Emperor's Cup
over the weekend. Murda made his pro debut in nineteen
eighty six and then the last of his eighty nine
caps for Japan back at the turn of the century.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Terrified he's a footballer, he said, golfer, But here's a footballer, sorry,
which is even more impressive. And also that he survived
the nuclear meltdown back in twenty eleven in Wow, which
is probably given an extra powers to play. It's fifty
nine nine is the on the pit.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
It'd have to be. He's getting Nona a run for
his mate of Martin as still be going at fifty
nine forty four at the moment Martina signed a new
contract to Sharks. Yeah, Wow crazy.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
We'll letas talk about this devil Skin concept pox, shall we?
Speaker 7 (15:14):
Jerry and Night the Hdiarchy breakfast, So let's talk about
this Devil's Skin concert in Dunedin which supposedly descended into
chaos after a middle aged man, so someone the age
of Ruder, apparently defecated in the middle.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
Of the Moshpat damn. Now it was an interesting defication
because he didn't exactly pull his pants down and just squat. Instead,
someone saw the man shake a log out of his
trouser leg and then it was trampled through the crowd
Before many people realize exactly what was going on.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
The video that I saw was they were looking at
it and they're filming it on the floor and then
filming the band up on stage would stopp playing because
there was such a hubbub.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
What's going on, though I have not seen the video.
Poose on the floor. There's poose on the floor over here.
Pose on the floor, on the floor, pose on the floor,
Pose on the floor. Let's shut this thing down. I
would have thought a good rock and roll concert, though,
poose on the floor, just get things going on the
floor and everyone's like, finally, pose on the floor.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
That's disgusting. But also I've got a few. This is
rounding me of a couple of different things. One when
I used to playing a covers band and Dunnas would
play for beer money at Starters bar, and then basically
anyone who had a twenty first or anything like that,
you want to have fifteen Bob Marley.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
Covers who want to really get this party ended.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Yeah, we'd also be so drunk that, like one of
the people in the band be so drunk that you'd
have to go around to the rest of the Hey, the
drummer is wasted, don't play in time with him. Just
let him do his own things. We can't dramas gone
or Yeah. One of them were just like we realized
we finished a song, there was just no bass for
the whole thing. We saw he had his guitaris up
(17:04):
at the bar, trone and order. Anyway, we played at
one gig at Starters Bar and Dunners and anyone is
around there and will remember there was a little like
tent area out the back and that's where the band played.
At one point we were playing and I just see
the crowd part like the Red Sea. It was what
the hell's going on? And one of my mate's flatmates
(17:25):
was just dancing, swaying and just going number ones on
the dance floor just wherever. He was just sprinklering around
the dance floor. Wow, it was. It was chaos.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Okay, I see your number ones on the dance floor
story and I raised you at number two's and a
vestibule just off the side of the dance floor at
a nightclub.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
So they excused themselves.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
So I'm dancing in a nightclub and it's a very
dark nightclub. We're talking in the late nineties, up on
k road.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Pacifier in your mouth.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
And people's face has gone with everyone seems to wearing
glasses and everyone's got mock orn and so I'm looking
around and then I was like, what the hell's it?
That looks like someone's up on one of the tables
in a little sort of area just off the side
where you could sit down on couches. What's going on
up there? He looks like he's pulled his pants down,
he's up on the table. He seems to be defecating
(18:20):
up on a table, and so other people have seen
what's going on here as well. But it's very dark.
And then the bounces turned up dragged the guy out,
but unfortunately true.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
You don't want to grab a shitting man.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
This is the thing's been, it's been, It's all been
cleaned up. A lot of people didn't even know what
was going on. Smell gave it away, but then he's
taken out and then some people who are with him
were like, oh, this is kind of embarrassing. Anyway, later
on he accidentally when he pulled his pants down as
wallets slipped out of his pants and he's had to
come back the next day to come and get his wallet.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
Clean that up.
Speaker 8 (19:00):
Here.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
There you go, so people knew exactly who because he
probably could have got away with it.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
If it weren't for those damn Midland kids.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
When's the next Davilskin concert? Yeah, long, yeah, let's go.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Jerry and Mini for the hold Ikey Breakfast.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
So yesterday we were talking about State of Origin. Game
two of State of Origin is at Eden Park next year.
New South Wales coach Laurie Daily came in to chat
about it yesterday. What a lovely man he is. Also
we talked to accre G Lane as well. Look, these
were his thoughts on having a big game of rugby
league in suburban Auckland on a Wednesday.
Speaker 9 (19:37):
Night being using on All the pubs will be shut
Wednesday so we know where to go, so people will
just be in the street just trying to relieve themselves.
The residents led by Helen Clark, no doubt, with the
shotguns just going around blowing people off.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
So that caused a controversy because he said Helen Clark's
going to be going around with the shotgun blowing people off.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Yeah, that's what I heard. And immediately after that somebody
texted and said did you say? And look, I don't
want this to be another Paul Henry situation, but often
when politicians are involved, this is how these things go.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
Well, this one's a two part or isn't it. Because
you've got Helen Clay with a shotgun and then she's
also blowing people off while she's walking around with the shotgun.
So what is she holding a shotgun to people's heads
and then saying I need to blow you off? Is
that what's going on there?
Speaker 4 (20:24):
I mean there's a lot going on a Wednesday night.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Yeah, there is a lot going on a Wednesday And
which is the worst fate?
Speaker 3 (20:30):
You know?
Speaker 1 (20:33):
I leave that up for you can also say. He
was coming through the car was shod Laurie Daily and
he went through to our mates at Flavor and I
saw had who does a few shows over there, and
he has blue here because he made a bit with
Charlie about on origin and as part of because the
(20:54):
blue is one he's a Queensland fan had to die
as here blue. I was like, my god, that is
the bluest hit when you see it, the flesh, how blow?
Oh my god, it's ridiculous. It's I don't know how
the hell they did. That's so so blue.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
I think to get that blue, I think you got
to go white first. Yeah, I'm pretty sure you gotta
go white.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Then when I saw him he had gone white. I
said to him, I saw his blue here and I said, mate,
we talked to your mate Laurie Daily. He goes, so today,
I was like, is that right, and he goes, yeah,
wait till you see the video. Well the videos out now.
Have a listen to this.
Speaker 10 (21:23):
Twenty days post loss of the state of origin shield
my hatred for New South Wales, it hasn't waivered. It
is still there. If anything, it is growing hotter by
the day. All of this rage just burns up and
it's directed at Lorrie Daily because not only has this
guy picked.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Up a championship, he doesn't deserve a championship. He doesn't
deserve the win.
Speaker 10 (21:44):
This guy was the worst coach New South Wales has
ever had, brother and history trying.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
To give up the coaching duties to Andrew John's.
Speaker 10 (21:53):
He's trying to pass the buck because he knows he
can't fluke its whites.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
He knows he can't go back to back.
Speaker 10 (21:58):
Lourie los Day, Lorrie Loser, loser by relax.
Speaker 6 (22:04):
If Lury Daily was sitting across from you, what would
you say to him?
Speaker 3 (22:08):
You're a loser.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
You you don't hear a ball.
Speaker 6 (22:13):
Let's welcome in Laurie Daily into the studio, Ladies and gentlemen,
Lorry Daily, I apologize for my mate, he's not himself, LORI.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Who's your daddy here?
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Gone have a look at that. Gone, have a look
at that. That is on the flavor Instagram page. If
you want to go and have a look at that.
We have a no. I know that's so good. Honestly,
the look on Head's face when Laury Daily walks.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
He's really had to go.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Yeah, I don't know how they managed to wind the
no and you can there's also a clip they did well.
They've got a clip of Lorrie and the Beast studio
listening to it before he goes and he is cracking up.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
Well, I'm please, he's cracking up because you wouldn't want
to find Laurie up too much.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
No, can I address the text that's come through as
well as text here? This comes from Ryan morning, lads,
just thought i'd shear a message to minight. I'm sorry, bro,
I don't know how to say this, but I just
saw a video of Sidney Sweeney on a swing in
Queens Sound with a boy called Scooter, and also saw
her gallivanting around Queenstown with no respect for you. I
(23:30):
know you had big plans, but she's playing you. Both
thoughts and prayers you two looks cute and Steven Adam's
pocket have a nice day?
Speaker 3 (23:38):
Yeah, how was that Steven Adams our photo?
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Besides massive, I know we bought these new screens to
go in the background of the videos. He's taller than
the screen the top of the.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Oh no, look, yeah, yeah, I have seen it.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
I have seen all the footage of Sidney swinging.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Gallivanting because our boss Australian content drink the Pixie Care.
He spotted Sydney.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Yeah no, didn't he not spot Sydney?
Speaker 3 (24:05):
No, I think he spotted Sydney.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
Apparently a woman who resembled Sydney Sweeney may have been
in the same bar as Heim and he's like, I
think it was her. I don't, I don't know, Jesus Gid.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
Worse, so I find out that she's down there gallivanding
with some other guy and at that time maybe.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
Jerry and Mini the Hodarchy breakfast, Jeremie Wells and the
Nia Stuart the Hodarchy Breakfast.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
So yesterday we got a chance to talk to Dr
Paul Wood. You may have heard of him. At the
age of eighteen, Paul was sent to one of New
Zealand's toughest prisons after murdering his drug dealer who had
assaulted him.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
In two thousand and six, after serving eleven years, he
walked out as a free man. He studied and he
got his PhD in psychology. Has now written three books.
The newest book is called Better Never Stops. It's actually
out today.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
Paul, your story in prison at the age of eighteen,
killing drug deal your drug dealer, in prison for eleven years.
During that time, you educated yourself intensely and then and
then you came out a completely reformed different person. Is
that a fair analysis.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
Yeah, Look at us.
Speaker 11 (25:15):
I think every day that we wake up, we have
the capacity to start moving in different directions. In terms
of who we could be. There's so many potential versions
of ourselves. But I think most real change for people
is just a collection of small steps that are slowly
moving you in a different direction. Like I mean, I
remember one of them actually, which I was thinking about earlier,
(25:36):
was when I was in the yard and I was
doing these like word fines or some other kind of puzzles,
and this senior Mungel mob guy came up to me.
The sky Yogi. That's a great name for a month
more memory. A yogi full facial tattoo's serving nineteen years
for armed robberies and escapes and more armed robberies than that.
And he came up to me, and I remember saying
to me, Hey, stopped doing stuff like this a waste
(25:57):
of time. You've got to start focus seen on things
that will make you stronger and more powerful, things that
will make it so that the guards can't take advantage
of you in here, and so that you can have
a better time. And so he was the first person
who I really listened to who was actually encouraging me
to spend my time getting an education.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
He was the first sort.
Speaker 11 (26:16):
Of like what you call bush lawyer that I'd came across,
you know, someone who knows all the prison rules and
regulations right and so can use that as a way
of having a sense of control and empowerment in a
very disempowered environment.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
Prison at eighteen. Yeah, how was the first How was
the first night we were talking to eleven ther sentance here? Yeah?
Speaker 11 (26:35):
Well, I was given well it was even worse than that,
in the respect that I was given a ten year
minimum non parole period, which meant that I wasn't even
going to go to parole until I'd served ten years
at that time at eighteen, like, I hadn't had enough
life experience to be at a conceptualize ten years, ten
years forever at that age. You know, I'm nearly fifty.
Now I can look at ten years and go, I
understand what that is. At that age, I was like, Okay,
(26:57):
this is my new life, this is it. But actually
I was going through drug withdrawal in those early days,
so my only focus was on I'm a gosh, let
this be a nightmare. Let me wake up from this,
Let this not be the case. I mean again, I
was in there because I had killed someone. That had
been an insanely intense experience. I had been attacked, but
I'd gone way beyond what was required of me in
(27:18):
terms of self defense, and I certainly earned me in
my place in the New Zealand prison system. Didn't see
that bay at the time, right, But that's what happened.
But the intensity of that I really wasn't in a
good position to be able to do anything other than
just try to close my eyes and hope that I
could wake up and this or be over.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
Do you think everybody has the potential to reform or
do you think some people don't.
Speaker 11 (27:38):
Know, but I think they're unusual. I think there are
some people who have such deep neurological damage and differences
they're comparable. For me, like if you imagine, you know
animal control, right, you've got heaps of stray dogs who
just need an owner who loves them and who cares
them and looks after them. That's comparable to the vast
majority of people in prison. But you also have the
occasional rabbit dog that's just had such a life and
(28:00):
such an experience that it's just going to be an
ongoing danger. There are people like that, and there are
some people who've come across in prison, and again I
just want to emphasize this, they're the exception in the
prison environment because those hardcore psychopaths stand out even within prison.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
You can see them. Wow, the vast majority.
Speaker 11 (28:18):
Of people there because they've made bad choices, often related
to drug use. If you haven't been around drug addiction,
it's really hard to understand how much it robs you
of your humanity. You know so many people you can
come back from that. There are so many people who
do manage to get past that, live better lives. But
then you'll just get these hardcore people who it's much
harder to.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Bring them back.
Speaker 11 (28:37):
And one of the things that I despair about is
like the young people who end up in maximum security prison.
The higher your security level, the more distorted the world
is that you live in, and the less it prepares
you to actually be a functional member of society upon release.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
Yeah, and if you want to hear that full chat,
it's up now on the hideche Breakfast podcast. This is
the Hidarchy.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Breakfast Jury and the Night Bcky Breakfast.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
It was a crazy young with doctor Paul would there
just before and again, like we said, if you wanted
there is a full podcast. We talked to him for
probably almost like fifteen minutes, probably could have talked to
him for oh, I don't know, twelve hours.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
Yeah, as he said, and I have three books out
and a number of articles as well on Dr Paul
Wood Jailed at eighteen, a fascinating story drug addiction. Before that,
his mother died of Cancer's father would come and visit
him in jail and every week and he'd have black
eyes and all sorts of stuff. And then he decided
to start learning about a whole lot of stuff. Became
(29:34):
a doctor whilst in prison.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Yeah, which is incredible, incredible use of time and free will.
It's a great story and he's a great guy. It's
good to meet him yesterday. That is definitely the first
murderer I've interviewed. And I had a couple of got
me thinking of a couple of questions for you, Drey,
because you've interviewed million, billion, bajillion people, So I wanted
(29:58):
to know if you you have ever interviewed some of
the following people. Have you ever interviewed someone who has
then gone on to go to jail? Obviously yesterday we
talked to Paul. He's been to jail, yes, But have
you ever interviewed someone that then went to jail?
Speaker 3 (30:11):
I have, and I've been inside three jails, really I have.
I've visited she wrote, but Mount Eden, I've visited Why
Carrier and Kai Toki, which is the one that's down
in Wanganui. So yeah, onside they got drugs. No, that
was is to visit an inmate in two of those prisons,
(30:32):
and then the third one was as part of a
group of people who went and just spoke to prisoners. Basically, yeah, right,
super interesting places to go to. But I've got to
say grim Man and if you're listening inside of prison,
I'm sure you know, because we probably do have people
who listened to the show from inside of prison. Doctor.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
It's it's a tough place to be, but you can
become a doctor and an author.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
Oh absolutely, that was Allward's messages that you can turn.
You can choose whatever you want to do on that
particular day. You can always start again.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
What what were you talking to them about? Did they say,
here's should we get news?
Speaker 3 (31:09):
Were in there? I was, Yeah, me and the old
have I went down, well, part of a group of people.
Stephen Kearney was there as well, and yeah, we went
down and chatted to This was why Carrier Prism, which
is in Tamutu. Yeah, and yeah. It was part of
a day where a whole lot of prisoners had organized
it actually, and they got in touch with us. They
wrote to us and would you like to come and
(31:30):
visit us on a Sunday. We're having a It was
actually a Pacific a day, which is I know that
seems really strange, but it.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
Was they thought, you know what news.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Yeah, it doesn't make any sense, It doesn't make any sense.
But I met a number of people and I remember
one guy particularly who I chatted to, who who was
telling me about his life story, and yeah, really really
touched me. I'll never forget his story. In the end,
I felt like I gave him something that I had.
I had a T shirt or something.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Anyway, again on you, Yeah, did you give them any
career advice? Like if you just go down and slag
off of south in Town, you're gonna give no.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
I mean it was just to make I think. Really,
we were just going in there to make their legs
just slightly more interesting, yeh.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
Given something to mark the passing your time. Have you
ever interviewed someone who went on to be struck by lightning?
Speaker 3 (32:19):
Never anybody who's been struck by a shark attack? Shark attack? Yes, yes, yes,
on television talk to a person who is a TechEd
by a shark? Wow?
Speaker 1 (32:28):
Yeah, a holand one.
Speaker 3 (32:30):
Yeah, I know a few people have had a Yeah,
Brad Weaver.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
I interviewed Brad Weaver once he turned around and had
a holand one the very next week.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
Is that right?
Speaker 1 (32:38):
The beast as well? Braceway, Michael Braceway. Anyone who's bold
hat trick, probably.
Speaker 3 (32:45):
There's got to be has Tim Southey had a hat
trick probably.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
Twenties, very early on, like yeah, one of his first
games when he's.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
Danny Morrison had a hat trick famously in a one
day I had a few conversation for Danny over the years.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
Have you interviewed anyone who's ever won Lotter?
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (33:03):
I have.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
I have spoken to someone who has name. He ran
a like a resort Upper Northland, ed someone was his name,
and I can't remember the name off the top of
my head, but yes, he won Lotto First Division twice.
Oh that guy.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
I feel like I've talked to the same guy. He
used to ring into our radio station.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
He was a lawyer. He's old.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Oh again, that's a different guy. Anyone who's done a backflip.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
I don't know. Yes, definitely who's done.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
It back anyone who's been to space.
Speaker 3 (33:35):
Never someone who's been to space. However, I have had
lunch beside a person who the buzz aldron I sat beside.
Buzz aldron I sat beside buzz aldron at a lunch
in the Gibson Valley.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
Remember this because you asked him if it was all
a hoax and then he punched you in the mouth.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Jerry and the Breakfast.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
I've got an idea.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
The other day downloaded an app you can track sharks run,
and I noticed that one of the sharks was called
something like Yamaha or Mazda or something. Hell turns out
you can sponsor them, and so we've talked to the
people who are in charge of that. It costs four
three hundred dollars and for that, what you're actually buying
is the tag itself. They put it in a shark
Ipso fact though, you have bought a shark, and so
(34:20):
I thought, why don't we buy a shark? So I
consulted the higher ups. Turns out that the marketing budget's
already been blown on a homing pigeon. Keysy's brought himself
a pigeon that actually flies out of Timaru.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
Which we don't broadcast a timorrow.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
We don't broadcast the Timuru, so I don't know how.
Speaker 3 (34:39):
Anyway, it was only four hundred and twenty dollars, but
that was the I believe the marketing budget was five hundred. Yeah,
and eighty got spin on pizzas and drinks. Yeah, to
celebrate the purchase of a pigeon. So that's the five
hundred dollars marketing budget gone soacked up for a whole year.
Speaker 4 (34:53):
Yep, five hundred bucks.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
That's the way now routed that nobody has marketing budget.
The first thing to go and the cost of living crime.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
Your content is your marketing, all right with a so
pack it up, my content, your content peptonics in my head? Yeah,
the pics in your hair is our marketing, all right,
because if your hairline goes back any further, we'll put
a billboard on it.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
Oh man, if your here goes back, we're gonna Your
here is like our It's like a metaphor for our.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
Ratings receding, and we're not trying to grow them.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
We just want to hold them with that.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
We want to stay out the lost. Anyway, we're buying
a shark. Somebody taxed it, so we said we don't
have the money. Four thy and three hundred bucks. It's
on the steeper end. Somebody did take it and say,
eight hundred and sixty people kick in five bucks each.
We're sharking. We've got to shark. Yeah, eight hundred and
sixty is that too many?
Speaker 3 (35:42):
Do you think eight hundred and sixty five bucks each?
I mean some people may even be able to four ten.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
You can, so, so that's where I want to go.
So the first thing is I've begun a draft of
a give a little page. This will be in my name.
Let's glass over there. Why don't someone do you guys
want to do it? Okay, I'll do it. So there
(36:08):
is a sitting on there that is basically like a pledge.
So if we don't hit the fundraising target, all pledged
money will be refunded. I've gone with that one. So
that that's the that's a money cars guarantee. I'm not
just going to take your money and run it through
the pokes at the North Kirt tav If we set
this thing live, there's a couple of bits of Edmund.
How long do we give ourselves because I don't want
(36:29):
because when people pledge this money, I think it comes
out of their account. I don't want this sitting open
ended and we find out in a year people still
haven't you know, a.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Month, a month, you reckon, you think that's too long,
it's too long.
Speaker 4 (36:40):
A week, two weeks, two weeks.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
So if we sit it live today, then like next Friday,
we'll find out whether we have or haven't raised enough
money to buy a shark? Yep, okay, okay, So then
we need the little homepage and it needs a title.
What's the title of of our listening going to be?
We're trying to buy a shark?
Speaker 3 (37:03):
We want to buy a shark? I mean, let's that's
quite nice, totally. What does it say in the packet
and shark a brief?
Speaker 1 (37:13):
Well, there's only one, only one one and a brief
story to encourage people to donate your pay to your page.
But there's not We just it's above. We don't have
any cash, we don't have any marketing. We thought it
might be a good marketing stand as a radio station
to buy a shark.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
We can't afford it. What about just ship we thought
it would be a cool idea to get a shark.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
Or what about having a whip around? I mean that
is the description.
Speaker 4 (37:38):
About aiming at at the people, something like ever wanted
to be part owner of a shark?
Speaker 3 (37:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:43):
Love question, love it, heaven, whip around and ever wanted
to be part of owning a shark? Sharing and sharing
and shark for twenty dollars purchase of fin You don't
get to like I mean, I personally don't even want
to see the shark once we buy it. I think
the point is we put a tag on it so
we know where it is. We never see the bast
(38:03):
a couple of brand hygiene issues. If it tears a
surfer to bits off the Gold Coast, there will be no.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
The tag just goes. We'll be washing your hands, be.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Washing our hands, but we'll be leaving all eight hundred
and sixty people on the hook.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
That doesn't happen.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
Nahn't that it doesn't happen.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
It's more likely to be caught in a net.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Yeah, which we'll also observe ourselves if that happens. So yeah,
So then there's the other thing is so we'll sit
it live. You can donate as much or as little
as you want, or pledge as much or as little
as you want. If we hit the fundraising target, we
will then purchase it. Then the final thing is what do.
Speaker 3 (38:38):
We call it?
Speaker 1 (38:39):
I think everybody that donates gets a chance to put
their two cents in as to what we call it. Yep,
and then we'll just pick either pick one at random,
or if someone comes in and puts the biggest amount
of money in the pot, they can have the name.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
How many names can we put Can we give the shark?
Can we We've spoken to Dror Riley about that, because
maybe it just needs like maybe you can have a
middle name. By donating you get a middle name.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
Look man, as someone with five middle names and two
last names, I don't think we want to be putting
that on a shark. There is one hundred and forty
something character limit on the Give a Little page, so
that's probably the limit.
Speaker 3 (39:12):
So when does this thing go live?
Speaker 1 (39:14):
Oh jeez, probably it'll be before I leave the studio today. Okay,
I've got a beaver away on this in the background.
But yeah, what do you think our olds are of
getting eight hundred and sixty people to chip in?
Speaker 3 (39:26):
Pikes? Hie?
Speaker 4 (39:27):
Pretty good?
Speaker 3 (39:27):
I think we can do it well a lot. Please
we need to ask, we need to ask our listeners
please donate five dollars, okay, and we can get the
shark going.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
Sarah said she'll chuck in twenty bucks.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
Go.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
Someone said you'd be lucky to find eight hundred and
sixty listener, wouldn't you another one twenty bucks? Old chippen?
As long as I can name it Martin guptalized cheers,
Robbie make it about the welfare of great whites.
Speaker 3 (39:49):
It is.
Speaker 1 (39:49):
Someone said DIBs on the shark fin soup and then
Sharky mcshark face.
Speaker 3 (39:53):
Okay, there we go. Bit a momentum. I think we're
going to do it.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
Just give me a bit of grace on getting this.
Give a little life, not my fullite.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Jerry and Man The Darkey Breakfast.
Speaker 1 (40:05):
Daily bespoke content that you won't find on the radio
show The Darkey Breakfast Podcast.
Speaker 3 (40:10):
Time for It's Academic gives a call. Now, oh eight
hundred Hodarchy I eight hundred four to eight, seven to five.
If you think you can answer five of Ruder's questions,
you can get three correct, You'll win a fifty dollars
Bunnings voucher.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
It is the King's High School Special this week because
we go back to the well. Just yesterday we had
someone from King's High School and Donna's win and now
we go back to the well with backs the good
morning backs to how are you good morning here?
Speaker 3 (40:35):
Going good? Thank you? Do you know the guy that
won us today?
Speaker 1 (40:38):
No, don't, no, Well he also went to King's some
famous alumni I believe Ben.
Speaker 12 (40:43):
Smith, Yeah, yeah, players, cricket players.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
Yeah, did he say, Bears McCullum, Bears McCallum, super coach,
super coach, Bears McCallum. Yep.
Speaker 1 (40:54):
And that guy from yesterday who's name we will forgotten,
but shout out to him and soon to be you, Bexter.
Speaker 3 (41:01):
How did you go to school?
Speaker 4 (41:03):
Not too good?
Speaker 1 (41:05):
Didn't end up finishing? Oh look, okay, well we all
ended up finishing. Actually be some of us just didn't
take as long as others, and I think that was.
Speaker 3 (41:14):
Yeah, yeah, what should have done? Got it done? Clicker?
What year did you finish in, Baxter? I didn't do yeh,
thirty didn't okay, so you finished for the old people,
that's sixth form. So you finished at the end of
six form?
Speaker 1 (41:27):
Yeah, okay, Hey what year was that?
Speaker 3 (41:30):
If you don't mind me asking, only a few years?
Speaker 1 (41:33):
Yeah, okay, okay, because some of these questions are a
little bit older.
Speaker 3 (41:36):
All right, let's see how we got ruder. I'm just
looking at them. These are difficult. I don't know how
bes is going to go anywhere. You just want to
bet them now, gave my gut.
Speaker 4 (41:43):
Well, Bexter might be a very smart cookie, jear.
Speaker 1 (41:46):
You just want to be in it now. Baxter or
do you want to have a crack now?
Speaker 3 (41:49):
I ever go? Question number one for Bex for fifty
dollars about whose biggest hit was the nineteen ninety seven
song tub Thumping No Clue Chumberwonber who kicked the winning
drop goal in the two thousand and three Rugby World
Cup final. Johnny Wilkins correct, which eighties TV sitcom featured
(42:18):
the Tanner family and alien life form? He's going, no,
it was Olf, which you're going to get these ones?
Creat Which is the only bird that can fly backwards?
Hard to google that one, isn't it? Yeah, it's the
humming bird that's it? So he can't Baxter can't do it?
Too difficult, ruder for someone of Baxter's vintage. I think
(42:43):
it's too difficult.
Speaker 4 (42:44):
I think he did pretty well in the two thousand
and three Rugby World Cup final. Johnny Wilkinson one, it's
almost like you had someone there that could help.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Do you want to hear the fifth one?
Speaker 3 (42:53):
Here?
Speaker 1 (42:54):
Go on which Red Hot Chili Peppers album featured the
song Californication.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
It's a trick question.
Speaker 4 (43:04):
Yeah, I don't think there was. I think that's about right, Jerry.
Speaker 1 (43:10):
I'm good either, unlucky back. So I think a victim
of your age there.
Speaker 2 (43:14):
Jerry and Midnight, the hold breakfast.
Speaker 3 (43:17):
It's lame claim to fame time. We've been asking this
question for a while. When will we reach the bottom
of the well with lame claim to fame? But by
the way, lane claim to fame. You can text us
on three four three, text us your lame claim to fame.
No claim to fame is to lame. It turns out
everyone's got one.
Speaker 1 (43:32):
Yep, and everyone generates another one every week. Well at
least we thought. But are we starting to fold it?
Are we starting to fold it?
Speaker 3 (43:40):
Of course?
Speaker 1 (43:40):
Over night we give you your chance to get in touch
on Sosh mid and a few people have done that
as well. Has this one best man at my wedding
was an extra in the Lord of the Rings.
Speaker 3 (43:48):
That's a good extra, okay, But what okay? Do you
know anyone in which film?
Speaker 1 (43:54):
Do you know anyone who was in Lord of the Rings?
Speaker 3 (43:56):
I do know a few people, Yes, Carl Urban, Yeah,
Old Tobek yes, yeah. Was he one of the writers
of Roherum. I believe he was.
Speaker 1 (44:08):
Urban Brett mackenzie as a as an elf at Yeah,
Lord of the Ring what do they call Flight of
the Concords. Fans love that little factoid. He's even got
one line I think in the second movie this is
this Way or something like that.
Speaker 3 (44:26):
I feel like I do know some other ones as well,
but I can't think of who they are right now. Mhmm.
Speaker 2 (44:32):
You friends.
Speaker 1 (44:34):
Blake's messaged and best friends with the best friend of
the libertarian Roger Wickerwicker Woo's son from christ Church.
Speaker 3 (44:42):
Wow, that's an interesting one. So remind me of the
Wick of wicker Woo Syka Woo is a guy in
christ Church, Roger who runs a wicker farm. He's one
of the few people who's allowed to farm wicker.
Speaker 1 (44:54):
What has he done eating those?
Speaker 3 (44:56):
Yeah? You eat them, You eat the wicker. It's like KfW, yeah,
we ate Waker. We went down to meet Roger. It's
part of a TV story and he and when he
calls the Weakers, he goes wak a week a whoa,
a week a whoa, and the workers come running because
they know that he's got food. They're quite smart, the Wakers.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
But do they know that they also are food?
Speaker 3 (45:16):
And then he's going to eat them. You can eat
them on the chatterm islands because there's heaps of them.
Speaker 1 (45:21):
Another reason to go to the Chatam Islands.
Speaker 3 (45:23):
Yep, eat in New Zealand and then mainland you're not allowed.
Yeah yeah we ate waker any good. Yeah, it's like
I would describe it as like everything chicken chicken. Yeah,
it quite quite young. But he's got an interesting conservation idea.
He said there is no animal that has ever become
extinct that's been farmed.
Speaker 1 (45:41):
Wholeheartedly agree. I think this is why we should be
farming kewi. The issue with kiwi is, you know, for
a chicken that lays an egg every day, but a
kiwi it's like one every nine months or something.
Speaker 13 (45:51):
That's it's a gestation periods. Yeah, they are lazy. I'm
more keys as pets as well, I reckon. I also
visited another Tarkka and they had they had a kia
as a pet and it was from the nineteen it
was old. It was from the nineteen eighties when you're
allowed to do that.
Speaker 3 (46:09):
And it used to hang out at the bar because
it was a pub and it would you'd feed the
keia chips nuts and stuff. Yeah, pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (46:15):
Love that. Here's one National treasure. Bro is my next
door Avid last year when you lads were asking for
listener generated stings, Remember that about the show. I rewrite
the lyrics to one of her songs to be about
the big brown slim dout. Remember that I knocked on
her door, phone in hand, assuming she would willingly sing
into the iHeartRadio ad. No, she did not answer the door.
(46:38):
And now you've both you've removed both the sting segments
and the slim down segments, so I shall live on
and lame fame.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
Wow, it's wrong, as next door neighbor.
Speaker 1 (46:47):
Yes, and tried to get a try to get a
sting in there, kip it t X coming through three
four three. There's a few filtering through. We'll get to
those pretty surely. Or always loved to hear from me.
You can give us a call on oh, eight hundred
hodakisundred four to eight, seven to five. Someone else takes
through and said they were an extra in Lord of
the Rings alf Rohan, Gondorian Urukhai Orc, Easterling, Army of
(47:10):
the Dead. I died many times.
Speaker 3 (47:12):
Wow, Okay, a lot of different extras.
Speaker 1 (47:14):
Yeah, she put together a little highlight reel of you
dying in Lord of the Rings.
Speaker 2 (47:19):
Jerry in the night the hokey Breakfast.
Speaker 3 (47:22):
We are right smack bang in the middle of your
lame claims to fame. Oh eight hundred hardache or three
four eight three.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
Rut has just shocked us off here by admitting off
the back of another one that we had someone was
an extra in Lord of the Rings and died about
twelve times. But do you you were an extra in
kin Kole?
Speaker 4 (47:40):
Yeah, I'm in the scenes that they actually filmed in
the civic. I'm one of the ushes the ushes people
in and we got tugged to completely overplayed in the background.
And so there's me and.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
Two wouldn't have taken masculinizing.
Speaker 4 (47:54):
This man to other people, trying to drag a lot
of focus in the background there when people are coming
into the And there was a point as well when they.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
Early CGI they got us changed your face.
Speaker 4 (48:05):
No, no, they got us upstairs and they did the
fall okay, turn around and turn around, turn around, and
they took lots of photos. And so in the scenes
where he's running up and down and just smashing people
out of the way, that's CGI me being wasted by
Ken Kong in the background. I thought maybe there was
going to be an action figure the way that they
were taking photos of me.
Speaker 3 (48:27):
Absolutely. How much did you get paid for that?
Speaker 4 (48:31):
A couple of hundred bucks for a day, for three
days or something.
Speaker 1 (48:34):
Great lunches though, But also you were killed by King Cole.
Speaker 4 (48:37):
Yeah, man, that's awesome.
Speaker 3 (48:38):
Do you get any residuals? Okay?
Speaker 4 (48:42):
No, I think you can kind of see me in
the background of the movie.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
No offense to you, because I didn't know that you
were in the film, and I'm sure you performed fantasticallyank you,
But men, I hate that film. That is one of
my most hated films.
Speaker 1 (48:55):
That the Jack Black One.
Speaker 3 (48:56):
It's the Jack Black One. I went to it at
Gold Class US and it's about three hours too long.
Speaker 1 (49:04):
Yeah right, it's so long.
Speaker 3 (49:05):
It's like, come on, get the monkey doing some stuff
and then it's having an affair with a woman.
Speaker 1 (49:10):
Do you like it more now that you know you
get to watch Rudy get torn to bits.
Speaker 3 (49:14):
Bokane, God, it's another reason to watch it.
Speaker 1 (49:16):
Lewis clear, But it's just one the men's two hundred
meter butterfly. He just won God First, Go first, God
for lowers God, God, and more satisfying than that. The
Bronze and Silver went to Australian suck it give him
a taste. Congratulations Lewis Clearver.
Speaker 3 (49:32):
Turner and Temple Turner and Temple of Doom with Tina Turner.
Speaker 1 (49:37):
Speaking of famous actresses, I saw Liz Hurley's boobs.
Speaker 3 (49:42):
It's that texted well. I think a lot of people
have in films.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
I'd need clarification there from that person. My wife got
into a lift that the Hoff Akaa The night Rider
on the Gold Coast was in back in the nineties.
Speaker 3 (49:55):
Okay, that's interesting. I met someone the other day who
did a bit of directing for the Hoff. He came
over recently.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
Troubled the half Troubled began Germany, the Hof began Germany.
Speaker 3 (50:07):
Doesn't like anyone talking about night Rider. Oh really, it's
like night Rider. You should be proud of that.
Speaker 1 (50:14):
A few more here, I am the forty sixth rated
player in the world at a niche World War two
shooter game. Congratulations to Josh. What's the name of that game?
If you could follow up there? Josh My Lane claimed
to fame as Old Mogi. Read my pigeon name on
Facebook comment.
Speaker 3 (50:28):
Out on Friday.
Speaker 1 (50:30):
Old pigeonshit Chris Mmmm, I got Graham Smith out in
the nets when South Africa were training in Duneda in
the twenty twelve.
Speaker 3 (50:38):
That's quite good, that's quite good. I had a friend
who sledged that South African team in twenty twelve, actually
went along to the nets and sledged Andre Nell when
he was bowling.
Speaker 1 (50:46):
And pregnancing Frog and the blender.
Speaker 3 (50:47):
He kept saying to mate, you you're dragging you front, aren't.
He really got stuck into him technically, and then the
en Now I said, you, mate, you need to piss off.
Told him to piss off. Ah.
Speaker 1 (50:58):
And this one here, I thought I saw Ben Hurley
and I yelled out Ben, lame claim to fame. But
it wasn't Ben. It's just someone else. Can we dig
up the footage of Rhoda getting torn a bit spoken
in conglues?
Speaker 3 (51:12):
Do you have that?
Speaker 4 (51:14):
I mean, it's just in the movie Missus Roady numb
Ones in that movie as well.
Speaker 2 (51:18):
Jerry and Minn the Hodiarchy breakfast.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
We are doing your lame claims to fame. Oh eight hundred, Hodaki,
or you can text us on three four eight three
No claim to famous too lame.
Speaker 1 (51:30):
Yes, we go to the phone lines. Now we've got Olston.
Speaker 8 (51:34):
That's right, Yeah, good.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
Morning Olsten from the White HEADO. What's your lame claim
to fame?
Speaker 12 (51:38):
My lame claim as I saw Jumie Wells on a
motorcycle in Bali a couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 3 (51:44):
No claim to famous, too lame. Although that is pretty lame, Olston.
Speaker 12 (51:47):
I've got to say, yeah, I yelled out to you,
but you didn't stop me. He carried on.
Speaker 1 (51:52):
He's lost touch, Jerry, I think because he said I
heard someone yell out to me.
Speaker 3 (51:55):
While I was on hold.
Speaker 1 (51:58):
I kept going, Now what we are to there is
on holiday as well.
Speaker 12 (52:02):
He was on holiday for a few weeks.
Speaker 4 (52:03):
Yep, did you get.
Speaker 3 (52:07):
Where were you? Where was this? Where was? I was
on a couple of motorbikes and different places. There's Labonga,
great place, isn't.
Speaker 12 (52:17):
It was beautiful?
Speaker 1 (52:18):
Was Jerry driving or was he riding bitch on the
back of a GoJ.
Speaker 3 (52:23):
No, he was.
Speaker 12 (52:24):
He was just riding by himself, white T shirt, no
helmet on my dad, no helmet.
Speaker 3 (52:32):
Yeah, yeah, I'll tell you what. That's a great thing
about scooters over there. People don't understand. But when you're
walking around it's hot. But on a scooter, jeez, you
get that breeze going through you beautiful. Yeah, it really is,
all right, thanks for your call. Alson appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (52:51):
Had another beautiful but but sketchy on some parts of
Bali like I went through, I guess like Chang and
some of the some of the more built up areas.
Speaker 3 (53:02):
You know that giant statue thing.
Speaker 1 (53:04):
Yes, road from our accommodation up to that thing with
the misses on the back. She got off that when
we parked up. She got off through a helmet at
me as I'm getting a car on the way.
Speaker 3 (53:13):
That Yeah, fair enough. This is the thing that apparently
a lot of people do have it. You don't see
a lot of accidents, but I'm told by people that
they do, and apparently about ninety five percent of them
Australia are travelers. Yeah, people coming from overseas. Because you
see the way that the Balinese and the Indonesians ride
and it's like they've got a particular way, they understand
how to do it.
Speaker 1 (53:32):
They move like liquid. The first time you get off
the plane in one of those countries and you see
one of those million man intersections, you're like, how the hell.
Speaker 3 (53:39):
Does this work?
Speaker 1 (53:40):
So many near misses, but it works, and nobody's angry,
and then you're sitting in there if and and Jeff
and and that was the bit.
Speaker 3 (53:46):
I took away from it. I realized I didn't see
one single bit of road rage for two weeks, but
yet there were If I reckon, I saw a million
different situations that in New Zealand would have been like
people would have been stopping their car a car and
then into a fight. Yeah, you know, so many near misses.
Speaker 1 (54:03):
Man, but no no crashes. Now I'm just a couple
of more texts here. I knocked over Roger. Two'sa's off stump.
Three deliveries in a row in the nets.
Speaker 3 (54:12):
Jesus geez, that's impressive.
Speaker 1 (54:14):
One man, one man, hat trick, my lame claim. As
we met Rudal last Friday.
Speaker 4 (54:19):
Oh I might know who that is. There was a
young guy at a bar that I was playing at.
It's called Joline. It's a country in western bar in Auckland,
and he came up. It's some very nice things to
say about all three of us.
Speaker 1 (54:29):
No, it's not that he delivered. He delivered Dad's pies.
He ain't my KFC, my CAFC. That's from early bird construction.
Speaker 2 (54:41):
Jerry and Mania, The Darchy, Breakfast, Jeremy Wells and Mania Stuet.
Find them on Instagram at Hodarchy Breakfast.
Speaker 3 (54:50):
Time for You Later Sport headlines thanks to expert Ultra
the beer for here swimmer Lewis Clearbird has won New
Zealand's first gold medal at the Glasgow Commonwealth Game, roaring
home on the final length in the two hundred meters Butterfly.
New Zealand and our eighth on the medal table one gold,
four silver and two Bronzies.
Speaker 1 (55:11):
Give him a taste. Where are we on the per Capitol?
Speaker 3 (55:13):
Look it up? Must be up there. Bowden Barrett will
make his first All Blacks appearance of the year and
the side's opening game on the South African Tour. He
was unused in the July Test window, with Ruben Love
and Damien Mackenzie preferred at first five. Coach Dave Rennie
has confirmed Barrett will play against the Stormers next Saturday.
(55:35):
He says the conflict in the Middle East has meant
some changed flights for the tour and the scene selection
plans sorted in advance. Well, where they going to go?
Do you go? You go through Dubai to get the
thing there? I wouldn't have thought. So I thought you'd
got all per Sydney, Perth or Auckland Perth. You go
straight to Johannesburg.
Speaker 1 (55:57):
Or do we go bline it over Antarctica?
Speaker 3 (56:00):
No? Is that not? You wouldn't go up to Dubai
and then down?
Speaker 1 (56:04):
No?
Speaker 3 (56:05):
Or would you?
Speaker 2 (56:06):
No?
Speaker 3 (56:06):
I don't, I wouldn't. I wouldn't. I wouldn't.
Speaker 4 (56:08):
I've done. Mauritius had to go through Dubai, all right,
And Mauritius is off the coast of Southey.
Speaker 3 (56:13):
Okay, Mauritius. Jesus head, I'm losing my haird King Kong
up into Mauritius.
Speaker 1 (56:27):
A guy came up to meet the gag on Friday night.
Speaker 3 (56:31):
And Adam doing, I've got two wives and Adam Dewey
has made a tentative peace with his west Tis made
a tentative Marshall is expected to return to training today.
No one can answer my questions and crisis last week
(56:54):
by refusing to play against the camera raiders after Marshall
moved him from half back to locke. A meeting yesterday
between Tiger's officials, Dewey and Marshall lasted around an hour.
I looked at a Broncos game the other day and
it was a Winfield Cup Final final and Wally Lewis
was playing. Now, Wally Lewis used to play standoff, played
(57:16):
six famously.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
Done with some peptides.
Speaker 3 (57:19):
He was he was playing lock. He was playing thirteen
in this game. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (57:22):
Well he's a big bastard too, so he could. He's
the kind of player who could, and the way the
game's going, you know, he could be that sort of
that that Dylan Walkers sort of role, you know, that
Isaiah Yo sort of role. Yeah, but I think what
I mean, one of the things you've got to remember
is that halfback is the highest paid player in the
in the calm, halfback will fullback and so you don't
(57:43):
want to be and your agent doesn't want you to
be moved to lock because you get the big bickies
if you're halfback. I think that's probably what's going on.
Speaker 3 (57:50):
Many of the props, some of the big props paid
a lot.
Speaker 1 (57:52):
Yeah, some of them. A few of them like Infanol, Blake,
pay Hassen, Like that's a real top heavy position if
you're one of the best ones. Yeah, okay, yeah, half
us podcasters don't get paid that much.
Speaker 3 (58:05):
I can tell you that's nothing.
Speaker 2 (58:08):
Jerry and Mini the Darkey Breakfast.
Speaker 3 (58:11):
So the Warriors, NRL team and NBA legend Steven Adams
adjoining forces. They're trying to change the future of thousands
of Kiwi children. They've teamed up for a campaign to
bring sports closer to children across New Zealand. It's an
opportunity for key we kids to play, learn, grow and
(58:31):
pursue their dreams.
Speaker 1 (58:32):
You can support the campaign by texting Steven or you
can text up the Wars to nine three three. That's
nine three to three. That is not our text number,
So text Stephen or up the Wars to nine three
three to make an automatic three dollar donation. The goal
is to raise one million dollars.
Speaker 3 (58:47):
Stephen, Welcome to the Darkey Breakfast. Thank you so much
for coming on. Last time I was reading about you,
you didn't have anywhere to sleep. You were sleeping on
the floor. I just want to check in a little
bit of a welfare check with you. How's the bed
situation going. I'm not sure if you need a bit
(59:08):
of a hand. We can do a bit of a
whip round around here to buy you a Bedr's going
to sort you out.
Speaker 1 (59:12):
You can spear a mattress.
Speaker 3 (59:13):
I've got a spear mattress. If you need a mattress used,
it is used. It's only a standard six foot two
or six foot three. That's rough.
Speaker 8 (59:22):
That's rough for me, that far over the edge. No,
but I have a bed. Now, okay, I have a bed,
but I still sleep on the floor. Yeah, yeah, but
that's an option. What is the attraction to the floor sleeping.
I'm just like a bit of a heavy dude, and
where the weight kind of sits where I'm laying down,
it's kind of in the middle, so I curl. So
it's actually not really a good too good for my back.
(59:43):
But if I tall people, I guess, okay, so I
just stay on the floorbone. It's sweet, it's not. It's
not as bad as you think.
Speaker 1 (59:48):
How do you go on the road because half your
games are away, so you're in hotels, So what do
you do?
Speaker 8 (59:54):
Then I grabbed the bedding and I put it. I
feel pretty bad for the housekeeper. The housekeeper comes in
grab all the top bedding and put it.
Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
Down, and then I just and your feet just dangle
off the end.
Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
I'm not even on the metross. It's just like I'm
on the floor.
Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
Oh yea, not even on the mattress at all.
Speaker 8 (01:00:11):
No, no, no, no, mattress, floor, the top of whatever, the
top of the stuff or the doves, and yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
But they're done. And then I got my sleeping pig.
Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
That's incredible. I mean, the millions of dollars the NBA
organizations pay for their trainers and yeah, sleeping on the
floor complicated.
Speaker 3 (01:00:27):
Yeah, there would be a discussion that you have with
your teammates because obviously you hang out with a whole
lot of tool people all the time, so there must
be a lot of those conversations like where do you
get your shoes? Have you got any massive clothes? Recently?
Got anyone who can?
Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
We?
Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
Are you reinforcing your bed? There's a lot of that.
I will say.
Speaker 8 (01:00:45):
The clothes thing is tough because the new generation coming
up there into some weird fashion, you know. I mean,
I'm the one guy who goes around and ask for
hand me downs. I've already had up like KD and
help you. You guys got left over clothes? They're like, yeah, yeah,
so got some of them. But look at ALPI stuff.
I'm like, oh my god, bro, it's rough. I as
rough like a wearing this looks silly?
Speaker 3 (01:01:07):
Mate?
Speaker 1 (01:01:07):
Did you get closed from if you're seven ft doors?
Speaker 8 (01:01:10):
Some stores around now online thankfully they're making big sizes.
But you know, typically typically you have to wear as
a toll dude, you have to wear like four or five.
Speaker 3 (01:01:18):
So I was like, super baggy.
Speaker 1 (01:01:20):
That's why that's why I wear it five years the
same reason. Yeah, that's why I got the three excel.
Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
On because you're part of the big foot community as well.
And and and I might think of a big foot
as a slightly different thing, but you know, the big
foot community, I believe I'm I'm also a member of
the big foot community. Size thirteen and above and.
Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
Yeah right really, yeah, what do you.
Speaker 8 (01:01:42):
Size my niece's size thirteen? Yeah, I mean so I
thought it was actually gonna be a lie. I thought
it was like sixteen and above.
Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
Yeah, actually, Jerry get back in the month.
Speaker 3 (01:01:53):
The non big foot community.
Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
I heard a story that you know, vict the women
Yama who there's a two bad question. One heard that
he carries like an extender with him when he goes
to like hotels, so that his leagues when they dangle
off the end, there's like a bit that goes on
the end of the bit.
Speaker 3 (01:02:08):
Real you heard of that? No, I haven't. That's that's amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
Second question, I presume you stood next to him. How
tall actually is he?
Speaker 3 (01:02:14):
No, he's pretty pretty massive, broad like he's just a
huge boat like it'.
Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
He's listed at like seven four or something, but he
may be taller than that.
Speaker 8 (01:02:21):
Yeah, it's pretty druk because he's he's thin. Yeah, So
like the feeling is different because I say, like tall, skinny,
so they appear like very.
Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
Years, you know, whereas for people like me, I'm actually
about six eight or nine, but because of the broad
shoulders shrinking down, I don't. Yeah, if we get a
fight after this, it's going to be like an optical
illusion where I look a bit shorter. It's not true.
Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
It's interesting because looking at you, guys, normally minias are
reasonably you know, reasonably large, human being decent, and I'm
looking now and it looks completely different. Stephen tell us
about the Stephen Adams Pathway Foundation. I've always felt like
you were the kind of per who has felt, from
the start of your career like you want to have
(01:03:05):
some kind of legacy that's outside of just you playing
as a professional. Is that right? Is that a fair
thing to say? Yeah?
Speaker 8 (01:03:12):
I mean I didn't think too much about legacy. I
didn't think about that stuff at all, to be honest.
My main thing was just trying to give back to
the community any sort of sports or basketball in my case,
but just trying to support as many youth with that
pathway as possible.
Speaker 3 (01:03:28):
I don't really care about legacy, to be honest.
Speaker 8 (01:03:30):
It's just as long as the kids are helped out
and then they go forward and then help out the
next generation after that, it's all good.
Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
Do you like what you see in terms of how
New Zealand has embraced basketball and the place that basketball
is taking, particularly with the next generation of people coming through.
Speaker 8 (01:03:47):
Yeah, definitely, there's definitely been an uptick in like basketball
talent coming through. There's a lot of kids who especially
come through our high performance school invitation that I run,
like they've come through there, they've moved on for scholarship
and all they overseas. So all that stuff's all great.
But like I think the number one thing I take
away from it bro is like there's something special about Kiwi's.
(01:04:08):
The mindset oft kiwis they're kind of no nonsense, not bougie.
They'll just get in and do the work. And Americans
really appreciate that, and it's normal for us, but it's
actually quite rare. A lot of different kids come through
the states Man for their college stuff, and that's the
biggest feedback that I get whenever we take kids over
to the America. It's always they're so well mannered and
(01:04:29):
they care and they work hard, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:04:31):
And the well mannered part is.
Speaker 8 (01:04:32):
Big for me, you know, I mean, like any of
the staff at the hotels, they're like, oh my god,
they're the only ones who said please and thank you
every single time or clean up after themselves. So I
think that just speaks more to character, which represents Kiwis
more so Steve.
Speaker 3 (01:04:46):
From from here, your next steps in your life? What
are you up to now? Where are you going in
the next week?
Speaker 8 (01:04:53):
While still second with basketball bro same older signed a
three year last year, so I've got two more years
on the contract. Been in the league about thirteen years,
which is unexpected. I thought I was going to do
maybe one after I got drafted, so very pretty massive.
But yeah, just still try and win a championship and
just grow and hopefully leave long enough to see another
(01:05:14):
Keiwi in the NBA.
Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
I'm trying. Are you still try and still getting there? Bro?
I'm getting there. Steve Adams, thank you so much for
coming in. It's a great pleasure and best of luck
with everything. No, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (01:05:26):
Thank you guys, jerryam the night, the Hourarcky Breakfast.
Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
We're live. We are live with the Shark. Oh, there
we go. Give a little page. Is officially live. I've
just posted it. I've had the confirmation email just came
through right now. I'm a nice great work on crewiting.
You give a little page. Hidaky Breakfast is buying in Shark.
Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
So what we're looking for is four just over four
thousand dollars four thousand and three hundred. I believe it
is yes to purchase a Hurdache Breakfast Shark. We would
have purchased it with our marketing money. But keys, he's
gone and speed that on a pigeon of just mean,
what would you rather have? Seriously, a shark or a pigeon?
Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
I will say in his defense, the pigeon does stand
to make a lot of money. He said he's racing
it in four races and the grand prize for each
of those fifteen hundred bucks.
Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
Is that what it's about? Mini making money? Is that
what lives to know?
Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
It's about wacky marketing stunts for a radio station, all right,
having fun, and that's what we're doing. Unfortunately, I thought
for sure that if I would just search Hkdaki, I'll
be able to find.
Speaker 12 (01:06:29):
It.
Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
Fourteen results have come up when I searched Hodaki, and
none of them at our give a little. They're all
they're all give a little. But there's fourteenth. So there's
like forest and bird protection, the Hikarky rail trail. Oh,
I say, what if I go Hidarky and shark, surely
shark will come up?
Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
Zero results? What if I just got shark?
Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
Surely know one else is fundraising.
Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
For a shark?
Speaker 1 (01:06:52):
Geez, I can't find the bloody thing. Maybe this is
what happens when I have you been scammed? I may
have been scammed. Okay, is here's how it's gonna work.
So if you if you donate, if you can find it,
first off, this is why we shouldn't do this stuff.
If you can find that page, then you can donate
and never on the So you please to donate and
(01:07:15):
then next Friday, we're giving ourselves a cutoff if we
we either hit the four thy three hundred or we don't.
If we don't, your money will be refunded. If we do,
it goes straight into my accounty and the gloss over
that and then I will pass it on to them
and I'll write that off as a text right off.
And then Sustainable Ocean Society, they will purchase a tag.
They're gonna go out and put it in a shark,
(01:07:36):
and then we get to track it.
Speaker 3 (01:07:37):
And then we talk about the name. Yeah, once we've
got enough money to buy the shark, then we talk
about naming the shark. And you can be a part
of that as well. If you've if you've pledged the
money to buy the shark, then you will own part
of that shark. That's the way it goes. And you
can go to parties and you can say, you know
what I either today, I bought a bit of a shark. Yeah,
what do you do?
Speaker 4 (01:07:55):
I own a shark part owner and a shark syndicate.
Speaker 3 (01:07:59):
I own a f How much money does it make
for you? Nothing?
Speaker 1 (01:08:02):
Nothing, nothing but but here it is here. And if
you don't want to be busten by a shark. I
can tell you where not to go, and I know
exactly where it is. Again, like I've got the little
story on there. It explains basically we've just been through
there and you'll right some responsibility. So as a shareholder,
you will receive absolutely no dividends. This is a legal
part that we have to put in there. No voting rights,
no legal claim over the shark whatsoever. But also no responsibilities,
(01:08:26):
like you don't have to look after it or anything.
I mean, ideally we never see this thing. You don't
want to see it, you don't have to somebody text
it in with concerns that perhaps they may have to
look after the shark for one week.
Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
That's not like that. It's not like wild animal.
Speaker 1 (01:08:39):
No, it's not like your kids the lamb and your
you know, if your class gets a lamb, you don't
have to weekend about look after it.
Speaker 3 (01:08:46):
It's all key and no responsibility. That's it. That's it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:49):
And you get the chance to say that you own
a shark.
Speaker 3 (01:08:52):
And there's no keen, no responsibility.
Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
Yeah, you can donate as much or as little as
you want to this and it is all for a
good cause. Sustainableorsi Society. More importantly, to promote our half
fast radio show.
Speaker 3 (01:09:03):
There we go, So go to get a little and
search under Hydeki, search under Shark.
Speaker 1 (01:09:07):
And if you can find it, can you let me
know where you found it? Because I can't find it.
Speaker 3 (01:09:12):
This is the Hidechy Breakfast.
