Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Hurdarcky Breakfast podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
So, twenty six years after the TV shoot dobued, the
new movie Jackass, Best and Last is out this Thursday.
We have to say it's sixteen contains offensive language and nudity,
and we were lucky enough to watch the movie and
talk to Chris Pontius direct, did Jeff Tremaine and Johnny

(00:22):
Knoxville himself.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Reminder, the stunts in this movie were performed by professionals.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I'm Weemen, I'm brymar Jerrold.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
I'm Preston Lacy, I'm Chris Pontier.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
So for your safety and the protection of those around you.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Are you England, I'm Steve Ryan. Do not attempt any
of the stunts you have just seen. Oh, I'm Johnny Knoxville.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Oh, I'm Johnny Knoxville.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
Hello, I'm Johnny Knoxville.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Welcome to jack.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Welcome to the first day of our last film.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
What you feeling? I'm sad? Does it make you sad?

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Chris? No, I'm not in touch with my emotions.

Speaker 6 (00:58):
Johnny, you get emotional and the latest film. Can you
tell us why that is? And you know what you're
going to miss exactly?

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Well, I've spent the best part of my adult life
with the Jackass cast and crew, and it's you know,
it's coming to an end, and it's the only time
I've wept in a Jackass film. And I'm going to
miss doing what we do, traveling all over the world

(01:28):
doing really silly shit together.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
But that's all right.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
We're going to stay together doing films, but just not Jackass.

Speaker 7 (01:36):
How do you know you didn't cry after the Bull
and jack Ass Forever.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Because I had those little birdies going around my head.
You cry? Yeah, I may have cried. I saw him.
He didn't cry. He snored. He was sleeping. Minutes he
was sleeping.

Speaker 8 (01:53):
How much of the whole thing, Johnny, Well, is just
an excuse to catch up with the mice again.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
That's uh, that's not too far off.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Like we wanted to get together and do it again
for us and for the fans. It's uh, you know,
you got Paramount giving you money to do the dumbest
shit possible.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Uh, it's not a bad gig.

Speaker 6 (02:13):
Will we see in this film the last if a
stunt performed by Johnny Knoxville.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I doubt it.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, some of some of the stuff I did didn't
even make the film I got. I took a liver
shot from a heavyweight boxer.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
I don't know if you've ever been hitting the liver,
but it just paralyzes you and you can't breathe. And
didn't even make the fucking film. Oh thanks a lot.
But yeah, I look, I can do stunts from the
neck down, but I just can't do any stunts. I
can't get any more concussions. I've had too many. I
promised my kids and wife that I wouldn't do that anymore.

(02:51):
You know, I kind of made a promise to myself too.
It sucks, but I can't.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
No more head trauma. No more head trauma.

Speaker 8 (02:57):
Speak of his pontius. This one's for you. How often
than a dig wake a month would you be asked
to show someone on your downstairs?

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (03:04):
You know how how often I get asked it's weird, yeah,
by like jackass.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Fans all the time.

Speaker 8 (03:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Yeah, And so I show him, No, no, no, I don't.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
You don't have to ask him.

Speaker 8 (03:16):
You know.

Speaker 7 (03:17):
It doesn't take a whole lot of arm twisting to
get him out of those uncomfortable clothes.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Yeah, I don't like Yeah, I hate wearing clothes like
I hate them, and I look funny naked, so I
might as well do it look funny.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
You look amazing naked. By the way, excellent segue. Speaking
of header hammerhead.

Speaker 6 (03:36):
Have you found, Chris that it's getting bigger or smaller
with age?

Speaker 4 (03:39):
It's actually, you know what, that's funny.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
You asked that.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I don't know what it's because maybe I lost weight
recently or something. But I noticed in the past, like
six months, maybe I felt my penis has been it's
been growing a little bit, not not like inches or anything,
but it's it's slightly bigger than it used to be.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
It might be the gravity of them.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Might be gravity from Yeah, that that head is so
big it just pull down.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
That's what's happening though.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Yeah, yeah, that's what. It's very top heavy. It's warm too,
it's warm.

Speaker 8 (04:09):
What's the main thing that people bring up to you
when they say you guys out in the wall, when
they bump into any of the three vias. What's the
number one thing that they they yell out to you
or the number one standel prank or the thing that
they remember.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
You know, you used to people the guys wanted to
fight me when this first began.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
You know, I got a lot of fights.

Speaker 7 (04:26):
I don't think they wanted to fight you. They just
wanted to be part of the crew. And they kick
you in the deck without without asking asking.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Well, and I took that is let's fight, but I
would But now people just come up and it's just
they just will say hello and thank me and us
for doing what we do.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
I think, like when it first came out, like the
people that were like our same.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Age, like in their twenties.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Yeah, twenty year olds are much lot more likely to
want to kick you in the balls than like forty
or fifty year olds. And I think because they didn't
like respect us as much, were more like their peers.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
Seah, I think I think they just feel like they're
hanging out with their part of the crew watching the movie.
You feel like you're with it.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yeah, it wasn't just kicking in the balls.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Girls will sometimes come up and hit me right in
the face or put cigarettes out on my face. That
was a long time, It doesn't happen anymore.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Terrible, yeah, or give you a smooch. That happened a
couple of times.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
Christian forgif. Like out of all of the Jacko's performers,
and crew. Who's the biggest pussy.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
That's an excellent question.

Speaker 7 (05:30):
Excellent question. Yeah, I mean it might be me. I
don't want to call them out just because if they
are a pussy, then ship still happens to them, you
know what I mean, Like they don't volunteer necessary for it,
but it's still gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
If they try to be a pussy.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Jeff ensures that they're not, because if you try to
back out of an idea, Jeff will make you do it.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Yeah, brave pussies.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
Yeah, yeah, that should have been like this, Johnny, you're dead,
how do you feel about one second?

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Let him answer ask his question. Yes, sir, Johnny, you're
a dad.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
Would you encourage your kids to go into the same
line of work because you Oh.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Hell no.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
But I have two daughters, which I don't have to
worry about them. Their daughters are actually smart. And my son,
he's an athlete, he's not I don't have to worry
about him.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
He has self worth. He's smart too. Actually, yeah, he's
very Broccos smart. Oh.

Speaker 6 (06:34):

with love watching over the years. You mean a lot
to us. So it's a great pleasure to meet you.
