Speaker 1 (00:00):
Daily bespoke content that you won't find on the radio
show The DA Keep Breakfast Podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Welcome on to the first part of the Cheery, the
first podcast to see this and the first to see
in a new day. Some content that you will not
hear on the radio show.

Speaker 3 (00:15):

Speaker 2 (00:17):

Speaker 4 (00:22):
It's exclusive content you will definitely hear again on the
radio show.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I thought about the saying actually over the weekend. I
don't know how you guys feel about it, but it's
just an idea that I've got. Totally just came to
me when I was on the show. A lot of
the good ideas though, content is king. Yeah, did you
come up with that to do?

Speaker 5 (00:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (00:43):
And that's good.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yeah, I thought. Originally I was like around the queen.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Sort of oh yeah, you.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Know, dutchess sort of thing. And then I was like, oh,
I'm thinking content is dutchess. That's not quite right. And
then I was like, content is.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Content as queen works.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Yeah, but I just it was a little yas.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
Queen, Yeah right, okay, not being sex it's.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
A little slate.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
And then yeah, yas yas king Yeah, I pop off,
content is Queen, and I was like, content is King.
I was like, oh, that's something, So you got to
write that down. So I wrote it down anyway, and
I brought it into the show this morning.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
That's good stuff. Oh you're getting to content.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Then it's King, it's kay, it's it doesn't You don't
have any content with it. You don't have anything to
do with it.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
No, you're not a lot of looking in the eyes.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
You've got a Curtsey and bowue way around it and
and be nice around it.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Oh, I've got the big shows content.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Oh, there we go.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
We drove the ejaculating penis on it. What's it A.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
It's a few of them four PM opener Reburger credit
show Tsyky, then explaining the Throbber today, sending Jason a
farewell tour.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
The wore Frost and Twysele and they have written at
w h.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
O R We never touched on that last week, the
how Frost and Twisle. Yeah, Dan Corbett was all over
the hoar Frost.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
I can imagine.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Now did he spell it w h O R E?

Speaker 2 (02:20):
No? Well, I don't know because he doesn't have an
auto Q and he didn't write anything down. He's he's
he's totally an oral being. He's an orator. It's all
laurel oral and maps. He does not operating words.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Eden And he'd know it was h o ar obviously
because he's a with it goodle Yes, it's one hundred.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
So the n that was that was it?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
So that was the four o'clock.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Actually, no, this is Friday, right, it's Friday, our repentees.
So they actually only have to come up with three
things to talk about in an hour, mm hmm. And
one of them was just explaining the three robber.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
And now there was that there wasn't it.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Yeah, that's a credit. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Then the bottom was our wrapentees. So then the next
the next one to five is Throbber Opener Reburger credit
show tease. Then they decide to Throbber. So Throbbers getting
a good run.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Throbber sounds like it's throb a Friday.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Thro a Friday Fellows discuss who they put on their
dream pod Ford Slash radio show.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Oh yeah, and then you'd think that would be them.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
What the Fellows about to do? Breakfast? Is it okay
to roll up in your pj's?

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Sure?

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Sure?

Speaker 4 (03:44):
I mean is it okay for a dary farmer to
pull up to milk at Sex in the morning in
his pjs?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Sure? Sure, Sure you want to get cowdown on your pjs? Sure?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
And then so that's five our reputees opener Jase John's
a good bitches baking group.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Excuse me?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I want to hear more about that? Any more details?
There no details, no details, no details.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Sports preview meet padding up sixty nine and then farewell
and that it is a Friday.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Okay, mag You must have had a yearn in there somewhere.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
You would have, but I didn't specifically say okay, yeah,
so that's content manel right, did you get back because
you're down on the rugby on the weekend, when you're
down for Friday, New Zealand's busiest travel day, you're.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Won that bad. Gotta be honest. I know this is
the thing.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Anything you hear on the news, buddy queues, and then
you get there, it's fine, like, yeah, we were. There
are a few people there. Sure, when they're bad, it
was only bad. I don't know what it is about
airports that just people lose their minds in airports. I
don't know if you've seen all like the reels going

(05:02):
around people making videos, taking the past out of how
people at airports walk, just be walking in one direction,
just all of a sudden, hard turn, walk at one
hundred and eighty degrees the wrong way, stop right in
front of you, cut you off, look, look right into
your eyes, and then walk straight at you.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
It's like, what have you just?

Speaker 4 (05:18):
What is it about walking into an airport that people
just forget how to be a human? Yeah, just lose
their minds. Man, I don't know what it is.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I'll put a proviso on what I'm about to say,
the comment I'm about to say, but I've got to say,
airport's in my happy space. Yeah. My proviso is I'm
a member of the Kry Lounge. Yeah right, but airports
are my happy space. I love it. I love getting
I love them the TEXTI on the way there because
you can do a little bit of doom scrolling and
do a bit of personal Edmond. I like checking in online. Yeah.

(05:49):
I like going through security and standing there and watching
everything happen.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Oh god, I fucking hate that.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
I hate it so much because you're watching everyone going,
You've got boots on, you've taken your laptop out, there's
a sign right next to you saying you can leave
it in your bag. There's someone you know, then there's
people not paying attention to their kids. It's like, it's
just he does anyone want to be in this queue?
I'm sending here going look this cue? Surely everyone else
just wants to get through.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
No one wants. If it was up to us, we
wouldn't have it there.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Occasionally, something amazing will happen, and that is you'll walk
through and there's no kire and it's like a phantom
Poet's like doing a poo and then you wipe and
there's nothing there. It's just so good, and you walk
straight over. The people generally say hello to me, and
it's like, okay, how I always know that I've I
know what I've got in my bag? I you know,
I don't have to get anything out.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
That's that's That's the thing is that you I think,
like most normal people are thinking about what you're doing.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
You're like, hey, I'm going on a flight today. Maybe
I'll leave the gun boats behind.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
You know, maybe I will if I don't need my laptop,
I won't take it. If I don't need to check
them bag. I won't take one. Some people just get
them for the fuck of it. And then you're standing
at a baggage carousel wading for a bag with like
one jersey in it. I just draves men saying the
amount of edman. Come on, fellos, what are we doing
when you see people standing there getting surprised? Like, oh god, what,
I'm gonna take my boots off? Yes you do.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Yeah, boots are a terrible idea. Some people obviously don't
have a choice, but yeah, boots are a bad idea.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
What about the anxiety about things like having liquids in
your bag, or having toothpaste or too much ear asoul
and things like that, that's only obviously internationals.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Mainly, I enjoy all that because I know the rules. Okay,
So I enjoy going in there knowing that I know
more than a lot of these other people that I'm
standing in the queue. Yeah, and just knowing that I
have no anxiety. And I look around and I see
other people with anxiety and it gives me. It makes
me feel good.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
It makes you feel better than them.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Yeah, I feel like I'm I'm like, oh, this is nice.
I have no anxiety about this at all. And then
I like being part of the process. I like looking
up at the board, working out what time I'm going
to get on the plane, working out how long I've got,
how many coffees I can have in the Karry Lounge
before I go in Nassage cheer, No lot?

Speaker 5 (08:05):
Okay, So you'd have to sit with the normal people.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
No, sitting with the normal I don't.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
I don't know who you think I am.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
I'm just going to leave the Kordoo lounges to go
and sit in a Message Shire if that's all good
to you guys with the normal people.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
No way. In fact, yeah, I mean there's more people
nowadays in the domistic to get more than there are
out huge.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
In and there's not huge, and that's massive. That's massive.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Every time someone tries to get me in there, I
get bounced what that's about? And I think that's why
it's the Kooru Lounge and not the Kordoo Lounge. Have
you been in there a couple of times? That's okay?

Speaker 3 (08:46):
Yeah, I'm gonna be honest.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
You'd need to fly like I would fly just about
as much as almost anyone that doesn't fly weekly, if
you know what I mean. Like I think I've been
in christ it's three out the last four weekends. I
still don't think it's worth it. When you have a
look at how much a blood cost to do it,
I feel like it's what is it like seven hundred
bucks or something like that? Seven hundred bucks? Yeah, I'll

(09:08):
tell you what you can get A bunch of rust
patched and you strut and a couple of headlights of that.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
That's it's a lot. I get a lot. I get
it free with the with the gold membership. If you
get if you got gold, then you get it free.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
How do you get gold?

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Fly?

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Heaps of times?

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Right?

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Didn't help that. I was finn Caddy this weekend?

Speaker 5 (09:28):
Then out you not going for anything?

Speaker 2 (09:31):
That? What membership are you on? You're out there siver? Okay,
well you're not far away? How many? How many to
make gold? Because once you gold, you're free? Oh is it?

Speaker 5 (09:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Man?

Speaker 3 (09:44):
To earn three twenty five.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
You're only three, you're only three twenty five away?

Speaker 3 (09:48):
What do you get? What do you get from a flight?

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Though, it'll tell you, but about it depends on where
you're going.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
Jesus on bronze. I am bronze, well.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
At least your bronze and not jade?

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Is there a jade?

Speaker 5 (10:00):
I don't fly a lot. To be fair, one of
the one of the nicest things anyone's ever done for
me was a group from my work or went over
to a Pacific island. I couldn't go till the next day,
and I rocked up the next day and I was like,
I've just got this new credit card and I'm sure
that I can get into the Quartery Club for free.
And so I walked on up and felt like the

(10:22):
man and she said, I'm really sorry, but this is
not You're not eligible to come in. And then she
just saw the look on my face that I was devastated,
and I went and I went to go and sit
somewhere else, and she said, I'll go on. Oh nice,
it's nice, just just going. It's just you, right, yeah,

(10:43):
it's just me. She was like, just going to fuck
That filled my cap.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Up well as a minute myself. I'm disappointed that she yeah,
because it's people like letting shit is like you just lowerying.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
The time we say shit is slash refereef.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
Twice I've been bounced out of that thing when someone's
tried to bring me in there's sorry, we can't we
fall up.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
It's the nicest thing. Man, Oh hello, sorry?

Speaker 6 (11:04):
Do you get free food?

Speaker 5 (11:06):
Fuck you?

Speaker 3 (11:07):
What is in there?

Speaker 6 (11:08):
Like?

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Yeah, you're not been in there either.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
I've been to other lounges, but not.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Not the order Loe. Yeah, there's free food.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
There's like a buffet. Not great, not great food.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Gonna be honest, Well, the soups can be good. Sure,
I like the soups.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Free beers, yeah, beer and wine, coffees? Is it?

Speaker 6 (11:26):
Like?

Speaker 3 (11:27):
That's pretty much it? And I'm gonna be honest, like,
can you shower in that thing? Yes? An acle one
you can actually in the crash one you can do.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
You can share in that thing.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
But if you're if you need.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
A shower and domestic flightlightn't get better at get better
at time management. Have you been caught short between Chrishers
and Akle and you're like, ship, I just need to
jump through?

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (11:53):
Do you feel I was just gonna say with that,
people unpacking at airports then when they go through security
drives me crazy watching. But that's also why do some
airports why can't they all just be like have the
same systems like some of them. You have to take
your laptop out and leave everything in your bags. Don't
touch it, leave it all in there.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
The new technology you don't have to I know the
old technology. And the American ones are the worst. American American.
They're heavily staffed, I mean, to their credit. They are
so many people working at the security areas that seem
to be very They're very chatty, very very They're very

(12:35):
how you describe it, they are great. They speak very clearly.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
Well, yeah, because they're Americans, Americans, and they're speaking to Americans,
so they have to be very very clear. I got
my bloody, I got a nuts fondled at the what
at the Houston Airport?

Speaker 5 (12:57):
Nah?

Speaker 3 (12:57):
No, I think you've got to be platinum for that.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Nah, yeah, it was I got I was going through
and they were like, oh, there's something and they said
something's popped up and they didn't tell me what it
was or what had popped up on the scan.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
And so they said, oh, we need to pat you down.
When to use the back of my hand.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
For your private parts, sir, And I're gona do blah
blah blah. Would you like to go there's a room
over here. I was like, no, no, no, you're gonna
do this in front of every so whatever whatever bullshit
that you're about to do, I want everyone to see it.
I was like, we're not going toto a little room
and you're going to start squeezing my nuts.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Jerry and Manaia joined the ConFlat the Hardaki Breakfast discussion
group on Facebook. For more, Jerremy Wells and Manaia Stewett
find them on Instagram at Hodaki Breakfast.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
So anyway, yeah, he gave me a squeezer in front
of the front, in front of everyone at the Houston Airport?

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Was that on the way? Was that on our latest trip?

Speaker 4 (13:49):
It was, but you guys were gone this between I
met the message and we flew out the next day
because yeah, I remember on that one, I got a
couple of fondlings.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Oh my god. And then they go.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
There are some people hiding in plane sight. There there
are sexual offenders side of airport security. There's no doubt
about it, all over the place.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
Because then he goes, oh, something popped up around your hip.
Looks like you've got something on your hip, And I
was like, it's called a penis. He goes and I said,
I've got tissues in my pocket and he goes, yeah, oh,
that would have been it. I would have said that off.
We didn't want to start with, hey, have you got
anything in your pocket? You just want to go straight
to I'm going to need something's popped up. That's quite
clearly something in your pocket.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Just popped up that looks quite impressive in your pants,
and I'd just like to have a bit of a
fun one basically.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
What it was.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
Just need to make sure that that weapon, yeah, is genuine.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
You know the one where you put your hands up
in the position that humans can't actually put their hands up. Then, yes,
where you sort of face your palms towards and your elbows.

Speaker 6 (14:42):
Been higher up.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
I think you a little bit higher, a little I
can't quite do it because I'm I'm I'm you know,
I'm old. Can they see you? Can they see you?

Speaker 3 (14:53):
I'm pretty sure, I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 6 (14:55):
Well, when you walk, I always have a look at
when on the little.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Thank you can.

Speaker 6 (15:01):
See if there's like a little red patch anywhere.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yeah, there's put a little square anything in your pocket.

Speaker 6 (15:05):
Yes, it's usually if they're like if I'm wearing a hoodie,
it's the hood.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Yeah, right, Because if you're running a radio then would
they see the radio, because there's a lot of blood going.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Down the run a radio when you're going through a securities. No,
the radio.
