Speaker 1 (00:00):
Daily bespoke content that you won't find on the radio
show The Hurtarchy Breakfast Podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Good morning, Welcome along to the first part of the
terry of the first podcast to see the Sun, the
first to see in a new day, The Day of
Our Lord, the fourth of August twenty twenty.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
Tuesday, Eh, just like that? What's solid Tuesday? Can I
ask you guys a question? What's with the kind of
person that defaults too? I'm going to complain about something
and their default is you wouldn't want this to go
on social media?
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Now, would you? Oh? As a threat? You mean?
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Yeah? I had an incident on Saturday night. I was
my window watching my brother's band and I was doing
sound for them, and I was standing behind.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
That you wouldn't want your brother's band on social media?
Speaker 4 (00:40):
And there no, no. I helped.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
I filmed a few clips and we put up on
social media. But then they had the water jug next
to me because it was at the bar. I was
behind the bar and I was trying to do the sound,
so I had my laptop in front of me doing
the sound, and this old fellow comes up and he's
just like, fill up the water jug.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
And I was like.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Ah nah, sorry, I'm just doing the sound. He's like,
fill up the water joke, and I thought he was
kidding around at first. I was like, I'm just doing
the sound man. One of the bar staff will do
that for you. He's like, fill up the water joke, mate,
and I was like, Oh, you're not joking, are you?
And then he goes, wouldn't want me to take this
(01:21):
complaint to social media, now, would you?
Speaker 4 (01:23):
And I was just like I was just like, what
is yeah? Wow?
Speaker 5 (01:32):
For me who doesn't work here and say that I
didn't fill up a water joke and put that on
social media.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
I'd love that. Yeah, I don't know. You should have said, yes,
what did you do? Fill up the water joke? No
I didn't. I just awkwardly realized that he wasn't kidding
around and so and he thought you worked there? Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
He was just on my left and I slowly just
kept turning away from him. And then eventually he went
and complained to his friends in staid maybe he went
on social media.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
See what I'd do is I'd keep him at distance
and when he tries to close the gap, he's going
to walk straight into that up a cut and his
feed him.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
It's just bothered me for seventy two hours. He doesn't
seem to be aware of what your role was. Nah,
I don't know. It's fairly obvious. I had a big
screen in front of me and lots of levels, and
what's obvious to you. It's not obvious to a muppet
saying he's a muppet. Yeah, a fucking moron. He's an
absolute muppet.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Okay, yeah, but yeah, he's obviously thinks somehow, because you
are involved in the bar.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
Doing sound for the band, that you also do water
and and all that sort of stuff.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
So it was his threat to take it to social
media that if a bar doesn't have water, then it's
a problem.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
I think he just thought I had a fucking attitude
problem because I wasn't listening to.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
His attitude attitude problem request.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
I mean, the other option you could have done is
you could have gone and filled up with water and
then poured.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
It all over the fucking top of him or pest
that you want some water?
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Yeah, sure, drunk up. It's not my job.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
I don't work here, but I just thought maybe you
needed to brother.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
It's a nice little it didn't need to now keep
him at distance and then personally, I go overhand right.
But that's just me. I just don't trust my uppercuts
all football. You've also got.
Speaker 5 (03:21):
A longer reach, Yeah, so very long reach. See a
lot of my powers derived from and close. So that's
where the uppercut it works for me.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
You overhand right, and I've got my distance going already,
and then I can just pull back.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
But not on that water. Shane came and saying no,
not on the top of the head.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
And his hand was fucked, and I sugar, yeah it
was mon did can you gu see just a slight buzz?
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Oh? Yeah, what that is? I thought it was that.
I thought it was that water feature that we got
last year.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Sit back up, No, no, I can't, but it's not
it sounds I can hear what sounds like a slight
overhead projector of the coming in the back und Yeah,
is that what you can hear?
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Yeah? Yeah, uh yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
Look at that kind of stuff fucking infuriates me. And
that is exact kind of thing I would have caused
a mess of it, because as soon as you've gotten
on like this guy is so far in the wrong.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
Here, that guy's really wrong and he's but he's.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
Really he's not. Yeah, So that's when I started interrogating, Sorry,
what do you.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
Want me to do? You want me to?
Speaker 5 (04:40):
You want me to Why should I have to fill
that up? Go post it the fucking social media?
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Get fuck. I just also, who gives a tag? And
who gives a fuck? Yea, make sure you take it
right some of this. Yeah, I just had nothing. Who
gives a You're probably thinking about what you're doing.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
Yeah, But I just thought he was At first, I
just thought he was joking. That was the problem. I
thought it was kidding around. And then I was like short,
old man that he was.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
Because he was old.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
I love being in those situations where you can just
walk away and just walk off and you just see
them go.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
A bit of that. Yeah, but that feels sure old
man as well.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
You can really keep him at distance with the jab.
With the jab, like oh yeah, just like because you
know there's no way you can.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
Get near you.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
He's going to get a little he's going to get
a little tap in the face every time he gets
anywhere near you. Yeah, and he's got to come out.
There's only one way in, and that is you've got
to come out on the inside and he's going to
come around that jab and that's you're bang.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
It's not social media that fixes those problems. It's good
old school dust ups, you know what I mean. I
feel like we've lost the art of the old school
dust up, and now people have forgotten that there's real
world consequence. Has been a dick out there, and so
they just go around asking people to fill up water
jugs for them and then threaten to put it on
social media. If I can put this overhand, right on
social media, brother.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
I've seen some pretty aggressive old people in cars, like
from the safety of your car, really aggressive horn beeping
and then some really angry gesticulation.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
It's like, you're an old person, you could get that crap. Now, Yeah,
this is not so good. You've got to pick make
sure you pick the right person because.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
You're going to catch someone who doesn't give a fuck. Yeah,
this is all I'm younger.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
I follow you home, brother, I am.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
Someone backed into me at the parking lot in the wayman,
he new way back in the day. I was parked
in my car and I could see him backing out,
and I was just like, he's not saying my car
and I was still in my park I hadn't even
do my car on, Like, shit, he's going to back
straight into me.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
He's going to bea straight into me. Look at him.
Speaker 5 (06:44):
There's gaps ether side of me, and I could just
tell I was writing his blind spoty couldn't see me.
And he just backed straight into my car and I
hopped out and I was like the fuck. And he
just started nutting off straight away. He's like, fucked, fuck
the f I was like, what, hey, I haven't my
car hasn't moved. I never even turned it on.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
And it's like, it's not your fault.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
It's the way they designed on you.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
I told them when they designed.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
This car park, the car park's all fucked it.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
I was like, it was just early and you're driving career.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
Maybe yeah, I would have been like nineteen twenty something
like that, twenty one, maybe, I told them.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (07:20):
Yeah, he was going on about the fucking the layout
of the car park.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
What they got to do with me, I don't know.
I don't know. So fit them with a few uppercuts,
get back and and move that car. I'm gonna get
out of here. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
It might have that road rage incident earlier in the
year with the woman going down the motorway.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Oh, who was blocking me? The high speed chase in
the van. I was just reminded her that the other day.
Oh yeah, in the.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
In the high as van doing about one fifty yeah,
doing plus yeah. And then she's and then I thought,
all right, she's gonna round me. She's gonna round me.
She's right up, she's we're going, we're going one hundred
along the express and she is like, I don't know,
twenty centimeters away, nudge your tail out right.
Speaker 6 (08:08):
Right beside me. I'm like, oh, the pull over us
got why now? Lane had a good, good old school
road ragents didn't happen to him. He's just telling us
yesterday the ger podcast.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
He wasn't involved. And that's the shocking part. Lake Road
on the North Shore.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
Yeah, frustrating road.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
That road sucks. You can't get anywhere on that road.
And there were just two people having a dust up.
The cars parked right next to each other and they
were having a full on like knockdown, drag out slob
a knocket and they were all onto the footpath and
that and apparently some fellow jumped out of funnily enough,
a Suzuki swift a lot of the best of us
(08:49):
drive them and went over and pulled them apart. Big
Basard just went over and grabbed that shirt, collared them both,
pulled them apart and get back.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
Any cars, get back, you idiots you did if you go.
Speaker 5 (09:03):
I can't what the reason.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
I'm not a Suzuki Swift for Gilente.
Speaker 5 (09:06):
Yeah, others a few of us you that could.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
Be you just driving around all day long. We've call
it swift justice.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Yeah, when you're not when you're not on the radio,
you're just cruising around looking for moments that you can
break people up. You know, you're just looking for road
raage situations that you can diffuse and swift justice. Swift justice,
a pink Suzuki Swift.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
Doesn't that sound like a like an eighties TV shir
swift justice When no one else is around to help
you court that you don't do swift justice.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
So and the Suzuki Swift sign goes up in the air. Yeah,
it's just that. The just goes out there and then
here we come and the manual. Yeah, and the.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Manual with the fucking fan belt squial And.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
That's great because you can get around the outside of
traffic and stuff like that up on the no problems
at all.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
That swift parkeet.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
Like I pull up and an execute a perfect parallel
park hop outokok, bright, what's going on here?
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Nice Stewart? Is swift Justice? Swift Justice? You get a
siren for Swift Justice.
Speaker 5 (10:11):
No, I think it's gonna be It's gonna be real grassroots.
I think you know, no, nothing that would mark you out.
You're just in a swift and you're all just just
big bastards.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
I think a mask, like just just something that goes
over your eyes. Yeah, just so people don't know exactly
who you are. So yeah, just across your eyes with
two holes in it. And that way you can keep
being a radio host by day, well actually by morning
and then by day you're Swift Justice and.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
Nobody knows it's you. Nice. By day you're a mild
managed radio hostess.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
Yeah, he's like, it's swift Justice is like Batman but
with no resources.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
Can I table some theme music? Swift Justice?
Speaker 5 (10:57):
I like it?
Speaker 4 (10:58):
Swift Justice? Thanks many? All right.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Jerry and Manaia joined the complaint the Hidaki Breakfast discussion
group on Facebook. For more, Jeremy Wells and Mania Stewart
find them on Instagram at Hodarki Breakfast.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
I don't know, well, I just I don't. I don't
know that.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
I think that kind of undermines the I'm going to
pull up and dust someone on the side of the
roadball in place.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
What about your Yeah, that is a bit jakie.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
Justice of justice, swift justice, and then you what do
you throw the criminal chrime back in the backset of
the It's.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Not it's not too much now you you hail and
ober and you put them in another and seen them,
see them to the cop shop. Yeah, you work in
conjunction with EWI and other organizations. Your partner, you have
(11:58):
a number of partners that you work Yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:01):
Yeah, they're like Wayne Brown, Wayne, how do you respond
allegations that you're working in herds with swift justice.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
You work with the New Zealand Police, you work with
Council EWE and also Mary Wardens as well.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
They just call it swift justice. That takes too long
for the cops to get there.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
But if you call swift justice, Wayne Brown's fronting a
press conferences like, well, look, if the bloody police aren't
going to do anything about it, We're going to do something.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
So I'll call it swift Justice. And here he comes.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, And sometimes it can be a problem if you're
sort of stuck in the Northwestern, you know, in some
traffic with them, but you'll get there.
Speaker 5 (12:38):
No, but the good people of the Northwestern are so
familiar with me that they know, oh, here comes swift Justice.
And it's just me flashing my lights. I got the
hazard's gone and they part like an ambulance is coming
through and here comes Swift Justice. Five thousand riefs on
the Donald Dogs and I.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
Guess some and the Swift you get to use the
burms as well. You can use the inside lanes, the
bus lanes.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
Yeah, yeah, the bus.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
He comes Swift Justice, tearing up the bus lane.
Speaker 6 (13:03):
On the.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Sometimes you use I suppose you know, you'd have to
use public transport times when the Swifts and the shop
getting done.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Pull up in an uber just the sorts of drama.
What's going on it aren't you Swift Justice?
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (13:18):
Sorry, count of the.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
Shop come back just around the corner, getting sorted out.
I should probably have back tomorrow. But anyway, what's going on?
Speaker 4 (13:32):
Swift Justice? Mate? That that seems like a problem solved.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
That seems like it will be on an episode of
Moon TV.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Yeah, he comes Swift Justice. It seems like its own
TV series.
Speaker 5 (13:44):
Yeah, when the Speeder cops can't answer, Yeah, when there's
no one else to turn to.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Would you come to low level things like I would
make the fucking going fill up the water joke making
me feel uncounter.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
What would you have done? And hand, Well, we've already
talked about it.
Speaker 5 (13:58):
I would have done what I would have and what
Jerry said, fill the thing up and then pour it
over and then give them some sort of cool parting
line like cool.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
Yeah, so it's slow level kind of God, that's swift Justice.
Speaker 5 (14:17):
And then I and then on my way out, I
throw my most recent parking ticket to the person I
just held that pay that for me.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
I deal with low level for cars.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
If you know, if it's not something that you would
call the cops for, but it is really passing you off,
you call swift Justice.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
How would have you gone on ram raids and stuff
like that? Like, what have you involved yourself in ram rods?
Was that too complicated from a.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
From a from a vigilante justice perspective? Yeah, well I
could have got the car in between and between them.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
And half the cars were demos and swifts that were
being sort of Yeah, so you've got swift on Swift
and you're swept on Swift crime ye, and your one's
got a boom box sounds, which which helps.
Speaker 5 (15:10):
Yeah, it's not a great rain rating. It's not a
lot of boot space. You know, it's not a great
ram rating car.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
So do you reverse one with the ram raids?
Speaker 5 (15:17):
I think generally, but again, my boot's no good. You
want to sit in, you want to sit in or
even that's why the demo is good. Great boot space
and a demo for four people. But I probably wouldn't
be stopping like a ram raid on a Michael Hill
or a large chain. But I'd be looking after your man,
par your mum and pop shops or like daries.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
If it's just some guy in there, it's justice. We've
just been right.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
Then I pull up and put the cigies down and
then I take one for you. Here I've managed to
recover nineteen.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
Still. Yeah, then the news and of visit Arthur look smoking.
Anytime you call just some guy, you know he's gonna
take something, some kind of text.
Speaker 5 (16:07):
Yeah, you're gonna pay for something, but you know I
paid the text man you got to pay the piper,
and we're just grateful that he's providing this kind of service.
Ye stuff and ram rods the what are the crime
big crime isshes we've got in New zealing swift justice
could deal could deal with kids, kids in the classrooms.
Speaker 4 (16:25):
I pull up and dust the kid in the classroom.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Yeah, I think that would be surely your specialty because
it seems like dusting kids. Yeah, it seems like you
were pretty good on that yesterday during the show. You've
got a pretty good, pretty good technique, Shane, Shane, Shane
loved it. Shane, you exactly, Zoe.
Speaker 5 (16:41):
He thought I was full of ship when I was
shadow box in there, and then I showed it to
you dad, and then when I showed it to Shane Cameron,
He's like, oh yeah. He's like yeah, yeah, so you
keeping them at distance and this is with no sound,
just just the expression of the body. Yeah, He's like, okay,
SOE keeping him at distance. And then before I even
threw the upper cart he goes and then when he
closes the distance, he saw it coming from my life.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
I threw the upper like you throw the uppercut.
Speaker 6 (17:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
No, he was very in terms of technically he was.
He was rarely happy with it, great mines.
Speaker 5 (17:11):
Yeah, Gretnes, he made the same reads that I did
against that ten year old.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Yeah, actually we should have maybe gone them, just to
maybe give us one or two other options as to
what you could do in that situation.
Speaker 4 (17:23):
Yeah, he was okay with the overhand. Yeah, he was
okay with the overhanded, he was, Yeah, but he was
he was most happy with the upper cut. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Well, to get quite low though, because depending on the
height of the cab. That's why I thought the overhand
would come in quite handy, because you know, if if
you have got a height advantage to that cat, and
I imagine you would to an unruly ten year.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Old, then you would how would you you have to
get a low to get on and under the.
Speaker 5 (17:47):
Jaw It would be low obviously I'm just shadowy.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Drop the knee, dropped the back knee. Yeah, well, I'd
be in a stance.
Speaker 5 (17:54):
You know, I'd probably be a little bit more because
I'm trying to keep him at rain and probably a
little bit more spread yep. And then and that's where
I'm just that's the powers coming through there. But again,
you know I have to hit them that hard because
they're moving into you. And that's the beauty. That's the
beauty of the uppercut is that you're using their momentum
against them.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
Accuracy is what you need there.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
It's interesting how he was talking Shane cameron Is today
about like what part of the head you're looking to hit,
like really looking to zoning on the exact place. I
just I'd just be trying to hit somewhere, just their head,
the head.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Jerri and Maniah catch the radio show from six to
ten weekdays, The Hadarky Breakfast
