Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bravy Gang Gang Gang.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Baby pout of the top and lead is spread as
wait listen, it's a past the gray Head. Great, we
go win fishing for your bitch today with Chunk and
Houston Houston Bay. Now we go ahead and leck Camp.
We'll get rich today.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Nish bitch, Gravy, Gravy, gravy, gool.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
What is happening? Everybody? Happy gravy day.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
It's Past the Gravy Episode six hundred and fifty six.
I say as I look at my paper, six hundred
and fifty six. I am your host, Alex the Moondog
Middleton with my co host Robert the Hog Barbosa aka
Bobby Jokes, and today we have a very special guest.
It's us, just us, just us. We didn't want to

(00:55):
book a guest this week, and we were so excited.
We're living in the best hockey country on the plane. Robert,
you watched all zero seconds of that game, all zero seconds, Yeah,
zero seconds.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
You did text me about it at one point. I
did text you about it because I knew they were playing.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Yeah, you were up early texting about it, so that's
I was like, maybe he's watching nor No, because.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
I knew that they were playing like eight am here,
seven am. Okay, yeah, I forgot what time, but yeah,
I had texted you pretty early and like, hopefully they
don't mess up your your birthday. They didn't.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
It was awesome, best birthday ever, best birthday ever. Miracle
on Ice was the same day, and forty six years
later we beat the Kai and stewing gold. So pretty
sick yeah, pre sick start.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Yeah, I felt like I had to. I had to
text you before the game finished because I didn't know
what kind of mood, what would happen in the game
and bad.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
It had been bad and I had already gotten like
to the point when they went to overtime, and I
was just like, I'm gonna be I'm going to be
a whiny little bit if it was I'm going to
be very upset about it. And I'm very glad that
they did not. Shout out to Jack Hughes in the
whole US men's hockey team and the women's hockey team.
We swept gold for the first time ever in the Olympics.
Shout out team, you say, We're gonna talk about that

(02:03):
a little bit more coming up. I did bias gold medals.
I did buy US gold medals. I also bet Canada
because I was like, I'm gonna bet on Canada to
jinx Canada, so my bet won't hit. So really I
bought us to win. But then I also bought us
gold medals. They're not actual gold medals or like replica

(02:25):
gold medals, but they were on Amazon, so I got
us like they were like eleven bucks apiece. So did
you get like the higher quality gold medals like the
chocolate coins.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
No.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I thought about that, but I was like, we'll just
eat those immediately. They now have something to remember these
Olympics by. And I feel like I should scratch like
twenty twenty six men's and women's hockey champions on it
and then we'll always remember that. And you remember when
Alex gave me this thing that he scratched. You can
probably give it to me for an adventt calendar. Yeah,
gift next year. It'd be good at Christmas.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
I remember this gift you gave me, here, have it back.
I'd like the idea of the chocolate gold coins, you
know the I feel like the all the athletes they
have a picture of with their gold medal in their
mouth for some reason, that we could do that with
a coin, and we could just get to eat it.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
So I think you used to be able to test
if it was gold because like you could bend it right,
like there was always the thing that you're supposed to
be there.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Why do people bite gold? Got the old thing? I
thought it was just like I don't know what else
to do with it. I got to bite it to
prove that it's real. But why would you buy it?
Because you'd bite through it if it wasn't real. Yeah,
chew gold.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Pure gold is soft malleable metal, meaning it would leave
an indentation from teethmarks. It served as a quick, albeit
unliable check harder metals. Okay, so if you could like
see like a little tooth mark, all right, that's legit gold.
But like you went all the way through it wasn't
and then if you didn't do anything.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Look at us. We're learning about gold.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah, we're learning all about gold on this this week's episode.
The golden episode of Pastor gav is what we'll call it,
all right, The one with the one with the gold
is I think that's what they did with friends. Everything
was the one with the.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
One with the gold medal. Hockey Championships. Is that what
the different friends, that's what every episode.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
It was like, the one with the couch, the one
with the I think that's friends. Yeah, it wasn't Seinfeld,
so it had to be friends, had to be had
to be.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Shout out to friends.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
I don't know it was. We'll talk about it. We'll
talk about lter, we'll talk about it. We'll talk about later. Okay,
it's a comeback kid. Obviously Olympic hocky is. I did
have an idea. But first off, shout out to our
reigning m v P, mikey P. Not everybody can get
birthday shoutouts on pass gay, but if you are a
reigning m v P, we will give birthday shoutouts. His
daughter Adeline is turning nine today, so haw your birthday

(04:44):
from her, from your uncle Alex and uncle Robert.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
You're te O, Robert. I want to be te O.
Your to moondog. How do you say moon dog? Uh?

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Lunat Luna Luna battle in a battle?

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Fuck?

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Yeah fuck yeah? All right, So happy happy happy b
DA headline nine. That's a that's a sweet spot, right.
I think I peaked when I was nine years old.
It's I've been downhill since then, Yeah, I think same
not atline because you can do anything you knew.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Anything you put your mind to. You can win a
gold medal like the US Olympic women.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
But your daddy might have to pay a little bit
of money for I style because it's Texas. It's hard
to come by, but it's worth it. I did have
one idea to bring into the Comeback Kids or pre
come segment. I thought I was gonna talk to Pat
about it, but I don't hear me out. They have
like on all of the gambling ads they have. You
probably can see with baseball, it's like you have to

(05:43):
be like one hundred gambler if you're if you're having
problem gambled gambler, one hundred gambler or whatever the number is.
That they'll also end out they need to, like as
somebody that works in radio, like we need to figure
out like a caller ten situation for the gambling Addiction hotline,
Like I don't think everybody that has an addiction calls in,

(06:05):
but you might be more inclined if you're like you
are the one hundred and tenth caller. We're gonna give
you an Amazon gift card for fifty dollars and you're like,
now I'm getting help and that they're rewarding me for
getting out not everybody. Yeah, but then maybe like yeah,
you're gonna get the guys. You're just calling to try
and get the Amazon gift card. But also like like

(06:27):
what if that's all it takes to get somebody like
you got it? Like they're an addict, you gotta sprinkle
something to help them find home. But like you're like
you're not giving them heroin and then just being like
go to the street. You're like giving them heroin and
then taking them to a rehab clinic. Like here, you
gotta hit rock bottom, and rock bottom is like I
called the Gambling Addiction Hotline because I wanted to win

(06:49):
a prize.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
I was gambling on the Gambling Addiction Hotline. Yeah, but
it can't just be you have to call and then
you win. You have to like do some steps, like
you'll be called ten or whatever, so the prize steps, Yeah,
you need to go through three sessions. Yeah, it can
just be you got it, you get it, because they're
just going to hang up and that's it. They get
their money, then.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Call I do some you've got to do a little
bit of something. Yeah, but you could win the prize.
You're like you're the one hundredth caller every hundred callers
and then yeah there's people that would be calling just
to try and win it. Yeah, but would you do
this is like I think Nathan for you did this
where it's like, are you going to spend all that
time the time to get a fifty dollars Amazon gift card?

(07:28):
Or did you really need help? And all you needed
is a little push? But also fifty dollars for Amazon
is pretty sick.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
By the end of like the sessions, you realize that
you don't want the money or you don't need the money. Yeah,
you know what.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
They this is my real reward and they can turn
it back in for somebody else and then maybe you
get somebody can get a hundred dollars gift card, but
just keep passing it on.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Also is one a hundred gambler? What are the worst
phone numbers? Like you don't call the suicide hotline, like
one hundred. I tried to kill myself, So that's a
lot of numbers.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
But like gambler is like the perfect phone number word,
you know, like sometimes like the Overnight TV ads would be.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Like like, I don't I don't know.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
I was gonna tell you my last four digit of
my number, but I know mine spells something that I
give to people like this is my number is dead
dead this word and people can can do that, and
I always thought that was cool. Well, it would be
like a movie could be like two eight one five
five five bush to get bushes fixed.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
It's our landscape business.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
It seems like too harsh, like of someone who does
have a problem I has to call. I have to
admit that I'm a gambler. I think that's part of
it though, but that would help you get over that hump.
Were like, damn what I'm calling the gambling online? But
I could win Amazon gift card and then I can
buy those cool spatula as I was looking at Yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
I think it like if nine one one wasn't eight
hundred number, then you're not calling one hundred emergency.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
They should like everything there should be like we're nine
on one is the like actually nineber one is pretty perfect. Yeah,
it's gonna be fair, asked, I don't have to think
about it. What was the number for nine? It's just
three letters or three numbers. Really two numbers three times,
so that's all you get it. Do you get the
two numbers and just do the second one twice.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
That's it. But it was like you should have like.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
You could just call nine one one though we number,
but like you should be able to call it one
hundred police and it calls the police, one hundred hospital
and it calls the nearest hospital.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
I need help. I don't. I don't know. We need
to work on that, yeah, because instead of like having
an operator point you where to go, you go directly
to that. Like if I need firefighter one hundred firefighter
and so, yeah, one or one, because you could fire
one hundred fire. You could be like two A one

(09:44):
four twenty fire. Yeah, and like that's kind of all right.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
You could be like two A one whatever the fire
station number is, fire, that would be maybe we go.
Now we're sort of just creating like an intercom system
like in a business where you're like, all right, I'm
gonna transfer down to Robert and Robert's extension. You're just
basically giving everybody an extension, which is essentially what a
phone number is. Yeah, but you didn't have to call reception.

(10:09):
This is like when when we were eventually going to
reinvent malls, we were like, hey, we shop online, but
if we can shop in person and all those stores
that were online.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
You can see what things look like. Dude, I got
a great idea for streaming.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Say, like we had all of the streaming services, and
you can get different packages of these streaming services and
maybe subscribe to like a certain monthly thing, and then
you get access to like you get like Hulu and
Disney Plus, and you could also have like ESPN, and
you can also have this and oh shit, we make
cable again. That's what we just did with phone numbers.
You know what make phone numbers better as if they

(10:44):
spelled more. But that is the best, Like we don't
you don't have phone.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Numbers member anymore. Yeah, you don't memorize it. I'm dumb.
I'm a dumb guy.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
I need you, just like I don't know anybody's I
don't I I think I recently remembered my wife's number
for the first time.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Sam doesn't know my phone number.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
She I can guarantee you I could get six digits
of it, probably not in the I could nail the
first six. It's the last four I'm a if you on,
I could probably I'm pretty sure I got it, though.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Sam remembers my old phone number that I haven't used
in ten years perfectly.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
But my new number, well you got. It's your fault
for getting a new one. I've had the same number forever.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
I think I've had my new number for longer than
I ever had my old one.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Okay, that's kind of But she didn't have to dial
your number, like I remember, Like, if you get it,
if I got arrested, now, I don't do they give
you your phone in jail now, I don't know you.
You haven't been arrested. When I got arrested. Last time
I was in I was in the holding cell. Was

(11:47):
was in college, and I didn't have like, they didn't
give me my phone. So I only was like, I
know my parents' number, I know my mom's cell pH on,
my dad's cell phone, my house phone, my brother's number.
At the time, I was like, okay, so this is
these are the three I can really call mom, dad phone,
and then home, and that was pretty much I could do.

(12:09):
But it was like, they wouldn't give me my phone.
If you you're fucked. If you get arrested. Now, yeah,
I'm calling on gambler if I get arrested. Hey, I
need you to look up my parents or my wife.
Can you find my wife? You call call her and
tell her I'm in jail, and then I'll call you
guys back. I promise I'll call you back and we're
gonna do the whole thing. I'll go through the program.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Yeah, you call one hundred gambler and hope that you
called her ten so that you can make enough money
to bail yourself out.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Yeah, all right, here's here's here's a bet. Okay, we're
gonna hit this. Then you can come bail me out.
We can wait, just I'll keep calling and checking in.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Need a score the u c L a game? Okay,
you see this when got it? Got it? Got it?

Speaker 3 (12:48):
You lose and they just keep making you stay. But yeah,
they should have prizes for stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
I don't know. It's like it's a dark time if
you're making that call.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
So maybe like have a positive thing come out of like, hey,
you're getting you're getting better or you're trying to get better.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
So here's your name? Is that gift card? Again?

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Not everybody make it Radio style that'd be funny if
like they did like a like a Rod Ryan Show
game or something like, all right, well, first you're gonna
have to listen to these people read lips, and then
we'll help you with your gambling.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Addiction or who's chewing these chips? Do you know who
that was?

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Unfortunately, then we're gonna have to go to the other
caller first, but we'll get right back to you after that.
That's just the order of how they get they get treated.
What did you bring it for the PRECPT segment?

Speaker 1 (13:34):
I want to talk about Scrubs. Scrubs is back today today,
right of the day. We're recording this Wednesday, season ten ten,
but they don't count. But I think they're ignoring season nine.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
Okay, So I was gonna ask you that because I
was trying to debate that I was trying to figure
this out with somebody earlier today where we were like
it went away, Yeah, they did like.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Six seasons or so six seven, but it went away.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
Then it switched networks, yes, networks tape, but did it
go away and then it got like relaunched or did
it just like in between like seasons swapped networks. It
was like, oh, Hey, by the way, we're on this
channel now, or was it like it's gone for a
little bit then they're going to relaunch it on this
other network. Because I was like, I feel like that
show has stopped and started four different times.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
No, I believe it was in between seasons they changed networks. Okay,
so then that doesn't count as a stop. It just
kind of it just swept going.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Yeah, so they got traded once, then they were a
free agent, yes, or then they retired, then they unretired,
then they came back. So this is their second on retirement,
second on retirement, because wasn't there like another thing? Was
it COVID they did a special thing? Maybe it was
just like a one off show. I feel like Donald

(14:45):
Faison and Zach Braff were just in everybody's stuff, and
I know they were doing this commercials. Yeah, they were
doing the podcast. They did a T mobile commercials. Did
they do this or this season of the show so
they could do more of the podcast because it was
a rewatch podcast.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
More content for the podcast.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
I've been thinking about that. That's one of my theories
where it's like Office lazy. I think is rewatching the
office again? Now rewatching I think they're they're doing another
rewatch where they're looking at it differently. But honestly, if
you The Office is one of those shows, and if
it's your favorite, a show like that, that's your favorite.
If Scrubs is your favorite, you probably would not care
how many times they rewatch it. But I remember the
like the Sopranos did that during the co during COVID

(15:21):
they had Bobby Bacala and Christopher MULTASANTI were like watching
the episodes and they just talk or they just talk
about each episode until you went through it. And there's
certain shows where like, okay, like I mean, The Office
is nine seasons though, so that's a lot of that's
a lot of episodes you gotta get through.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
And they did do a good job of that.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
I didn't listen to every episode, but the ones I
listened to, like for my favorite episodes, I was in
on it. But you can have like if you're that big,
you can just get different guests. They were also parts
of the show. You can, oh, let's bring Kevin in
for this one last time we had Creed, but now
we're gonna have Jim in. Like you could do that
and just get a different perspective and it's the office.
So I'll be like, Aha, that was a funny joke
that you guys didn't put in there.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
In that podcast. Did they pretty much stick to the
episode or did they kind of like branching off and.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
I would start like they would go back him for
like they would they would branch off and other stuff,
but then they would essentially focus on the episode because
that's always like.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
The center of the conversation. Yeah. I started the Scrubs
We Watch podcast, and after a while I dropped off
because they were just talking so much more about just
anything else, like because.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
There's certain episodes where like, yeah, so this happened, unless
they have like a crazy behind the scenes thing. You're like,
so we're recapping a show that you already watched, and
it's like is it a recap show or is it
a rewatch show?

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Where you're like, here's.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
A fun story that happened during the filming of that
with it intell is that we hadn't we didn't get
lunch for two days. So when I'm really yelling at
him here, I was really cranky. You're like, Okay, cool,
that's a cool tip that I learned. Yeah, Like Donald
Fazon's really into Star Wars, so he would like talk
about Star Wars a lot.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
I'm not. And then so they basically just do what
we do on our podcasteat Zach Braff will talk about
like theater and like really into theater. So I'm like,
I'm just I started tuning out and then eventually I
just never came back to an episode. That was how
the surprise I knows one was to me. Michael Imperial
is Christopher. I like him. I think he's awesome about
what he does.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
He's a great actor, but he's a very well trained actor,
so I mean, you need a camera and he's like
talking camera angles and stuff.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
I don't really care about that. Like I get it.
I respect the art, but like I just do not
that's not interesting to me. And another thing this Friday,
I've told you about the show Pluribus right yes, yeah,
basically for it's on my top of my watch yes
right now, I just have the children whos limited that Yeah,
basically for those who don't know, it's about a virus

(17:33):
that spreads through Earth that makes everyone happy, and anyone
who's infected wants to spread the virus, wants to spread
the joy. I feel that way about Friday because this
is just for me Pokemon Days on Friday as well
as the release of the new Resident Evil game, and
so I just want to spread the joy about both

(17:53):
things happening the same day.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Is Pokemon Day a regular day that happens.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
We're way twenty seven. Yes, every year, like every Friday.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
It's not a thing, there's not there's a machine in
the grocery store I go to. It's like a Pokemon machine.
And twice I have been there on Fridays. They usually
do my groceries for the weekend. On Fridays, they'll swing
by on my way home. There's it's I think it's
a card machine. I don't know exactly what it is,
but it's a big giant like it's the same size
as the key making vending machine thing you can put in.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
There, so it's pretty large.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
Two times they have been like like people have been
told that they needed to leave because they were like
too giddy for the machines and like either it was
sold out and they were mad that it was sold out,
or like one time they weren't speaking English. I didn't
understand exactly what it was because then the manager had
to go get somebody that was speaking Spanish with them,
and then the other guy just like was arguing with

(18:49):
somebody else. And I don't know if they were there
first and they were arguing over who was in line.
But there's been like I don't usually see interaction going
on at like the bubblegum machines or like that part
of the store. And two out of like three weeks
it was like Pokemon must be popping right now, Like
what's going on? So when you said Pokemon Day, I
was like, is that what they were fighting over?

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Maybe the cards? They have cards in the machine.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
It might be cards. I don't know if his cards
are their new game. I know that the cards are
very popular, so that's probably what it was. People like
go crazy for them.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
I'm not really into.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
One guy had his kids with them, and so like
they were here, like three little kids, and you could
tell like they he had like probably been like we're
gonna go get this this year. But like it was
I don't know, people really hardcore about their Pokemon. Yeah,
and then for the Olympics like that, that was one
of the sponsors for the Olympics, and it was the funniest,
like what a time We're living in where it's like
all right, and coming up we got Figures the Ladies

(19:40):
figure skating program brought to you by Pokemon. Pokemon coming
out but whatever, and they were just like they whatever,
new new things coming out.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
It was just like, dude, like people made fun of
us for Pokemon. Now they're sponsoring the Olympics. What a
how far we've come? Know, Yeah, it's a big deal
because this one is the thirtieth of Pokemon, of the
first games, that's wild.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
Yeah, I remember kind of the beginning of not knowing
what it was initially. Then it's a video game. Okay, cool,
I'll play a video game. Could you start with Tarmender?
Same was always try that's right, So I trust you, Yeah,
it's your Trumander guy. I trust bubbles or guys also.
But like when somebody, I mean, uh, squirredal guys. But

(20:24):
like when somebody is like I went black, I went
bulbles or on my first try. What It's just like,
I'm not hating non bubbles or Bubbles is a solid Pokemon,
but like of the three, that's what you're going with. Yeah,
you make bad decisions. You could have made two other
better decisions.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Yes, Squirreal or Trmender. But yeah, I just feel like
I feel like I need to spread the way I
spread the gospel, Like this Friday, we're all gonna be saved.
Are you gonna get all this stuff?

Speaker 3 (20:52):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Probably not. I feel like I'm just like looking forward
to the reveal of the next games Resident Evil. You said, yeah,
Reside was coming coming out.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
You should stream it. You can chop on the past
may Twitch. We should get that going again. I was
thinking about it. Yeah, on on Fortnite they have Michael
Scott's character. I got now it can be Michael Scott.
Do the scarn killed this kid the other day on
the game. Obviously it was scarned on him. That kid
probably has no idea what this is.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
I thought about like getting into streaming, but that was like,
you don't even have to put your picture up.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
I did it during the during the pandemic, and it
was like I had to have a camera on me.
But you could just do it and just have your
voice on it. It's just weird because you have to narrate
and sometimes it's like you forget you're doing that.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
You're just playing gig.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Oh hey, yeah, so what I'm gonna do here is
blah blah blah blahlah. And if you don't have the
chat pulled up, you can't even see the chat. You
don't have to interact with the chat. But sometimes it's
like the fun part of it. And then on TikTok
they want me to do like live stuff on that,
I'd give you that too. All you got to just
hold up to your screen and then you can just
do that. But I don't know, you should stream We
should get into the streaming business. I feel like I

(22:01):
feel like that's hot, Like it's it's not like a
regular schedule.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
We wouldn't do any of that.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
It's just like, hey, Robert's game, and guess what, play
resident even with Robert. It's better than like a probably
single player game too, where you can just like do
it at your own pace. All right, we're gonna try
this level today and try and see if we can
get through this house.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
So I thought about doing that with a fall up before.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
It's a long commitment and I can't really out in
my house now, damn.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
All right, all right, that's our pre come segment. How
about that? Huh? How about that? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (22:30):
Pat will be back to his regularly scheduled guesting duties
next week, we hope, but he had something come up.
That happens. It happens, and I mean honestly, Robert's crushing it.
Robert always crushed, has more important people to hang out with. Yeah,
he blew us off. If we're being honest, we might
have lost our only guest ever we are. Our guests
were pretty limited. Yeah, I'm always like, we got your rollodex. Robert,

(22:53):
He's just like.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
What's a rolldex? I don't have I don't have that
kind of money much.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
Yeah, he has a piece of paper and he's just like,
we have a pat Yeah, call Yeah. Luckily he's usually
agreeing to it.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
All right.

Speaker 3 (23:05):

That was actually my my USA that. You know if
you've worn those, they are gold medal joggers. Now fun fact. Okay,

(23:49):
do you think you can change like the logo and
just make the logo gold gold, Like just sell a
gold medal. It's the exact same pants, just gold logo
gold addition, like in UFC if you're the champion and
you get to walk out and you have gold winners
in gold. Yeah, because like the like I would like
to say that like those, there's no denying. Yeah, those
played a part in it in my lifetime. The United

(24:11):
States men's top hockey team but never won a gold
medal in the Olympics, and they did the one time
I watched a gold medal US game with the past
the Gavy joggers on. So those are great, great pants,
So go get those especially, they're great, just great to
wear around the house, but when it gets cold, they're awesome.
The Pass Gavy mugs, all kinds of T shirts. We

cool stuff for supporting the podcast. Past the Gay Merch
dot Comedy Official sponsored the Comeback Kids segment. It's the
coming come back kid, Comeback Kid of the Week.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Come Back Kid of the Week, bitch our first comeback
kid this week. What is it? It's free Bird Baby,
because free Bird is back. You're a fan of the
Leonard S. Kinnard. I don't think i've ever heard the song.
You've never heard free Bird? I feel like I'm familiar

(25:24):
with it. Maybe I don't think i've heard it.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
In its entirety. Oh yeah, well you know like the guitars.
Oh that sounds familiar. Yeah, that's awes.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
If you saw anything on Instagram this weekend, it was
related to hockey. It was very likely as long as
you US hockey, and if you're looking at Canadian hockey,
you went to Canada once last year, so I don't
know who yours allegiances.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Are two, but it was it was just everywhere. Free
Bird rocks.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
It's gonna be I told you before, and I was like,
it's already gonna be the number one song on my
like most played at the end of the year thing
because in the just two hours alone after we won gold,
I NonStop just had that one song on repeat, repeat, repeat,
just run Free Bird back again, Run Free Bird back again,
plays that Toby Keith born in the USA party in

(26:15):
the USA. I got a whole playlist of it. But
Freebird just when it comes on it gets the boys going.
That and the Toby Keith I would say, are one
and two for me personally, but it rocks. And with
free Bird is the United States of fucking America.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
Because we did it. It's finally our sport.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
Now.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
We thought in the All Star Game we were gonna
maybe take it back. It was the women's sport. They
had already beat Canada, but they had to take it
back this time. They did take it back. On Thursday,
they were dominant last I guess the last time we
did the podcast, we were watching USA Sweden g went
to overtime. We were stressing over that, so you knew
we were gonna be stressed and going into Friday's game
and the men played smoked. Slovakia didn't worry about that

(26:56):
at all. The women we were riding that high. They
probably just were like, let's go do what the women did,
kick some masks. But the women had to beat Canada
and overtime on a golden goal. It was just winner
take all. That was sick. They scored it on an
incredible goal. Then the men go and seven am.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
The whole nation was up.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
It was awesome.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
Just the internet was. It was the best, one of
the best Internet days. It was my birthday, and I
don't like being a birthday guy, but I was like,
I could never have asked.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
For anything better than what I'm getting right now.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Unless the Giants could somehow also play on February twenty
second and win a Super Bowl. If we get a
February twenty second Super Bowl, that also coincided with the
United States Men's hockey gold medal game, the US one
that the world would explode world. I could just die
right there. I'd be fine, I'll be fine, but just
they go into overtime.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
I was stressed out. I thought we were gonna lose it.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Where were you watching? I was watching up in Richard.
I was at my family's land. Okay, we had a
little house we were at. I had some friends that
were there, my friend Curtis. I stayed up till like
two thirty the night before we watched Miracle to get
the vibes going. My friend Curtis and I got up
early to watch it. My oldest daughter was up with us.
She had no idea what was going on, but was

(28:08):
very interested in why we were all screaming and yeah,
I just for a little life act that I've learned,
as if you just pick your kid up and make
it like she's part of it too. She was just like, oh, yeah,
we don't know what we're doing. But I was like,
high five, high five. We were just high five in
all day.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
It was great.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
High five Dad, Eh, high five Dad. I was like,
let's go USA. It was great. The goal man the
goal that had the game winning goal by Jack Hughes.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
That was it was. It was a top I was
trying to look back at it.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
The Giants winning Super Bowl forty two, beating the undefeated Patriots,
that's one one in my lifetime. February third, two thousand
and eight. February fifth, twenty twelve was beating the Patriots again.
Four years later, Eli makes the perfect past to Manningham
that leads to their second Super Bowl over the Patriots
in four years. That's number two in my life. And
then Sunday beating Canada. Like, Okay, we weren't in the mirror.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Nice team. I understand that. I don't know, like there's
there's people.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
That were hating on on all of the United States,
and I understand we can get into politics about that
if we want to. But gold was one. We went gold.
That's what I was watching a hockey game and the
hockey team that I wanted to win one for the
first time in my life. The men's team is gold medalist.
The nineteen eight team were college kids. They were playing
a Russian team where they were basically pros, but weren't

(29:23):
technically considered pros because of the way the Soviet Union
did things.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
It was a way bigger upset.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
They were way bigger underdogs, and I'm not saying they weren't,
but I can fucking be excited that we beat Canada.
Canada's been the best team in the world for a
long time. I don't like and then being well, it's
been forty six years, well to forty six years, Canada
supposed to be nice.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
They were dicks.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
A lot of Canadians online were dicks about it, and
they were, well, we know who outplayed who we were.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
We all played you, guys. Is a majority of game,
and that's cool. What's the score?

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Well, if your goldie didn't stop the buck forty one times,
it's the most stopped anybody's ever had in Olympic gold
medal games. Oh no, So because he did something no
one's ever done before, we should be playing good.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
If you know that the goalie is part of the team,
that is part of the game. If you had not
had the three best hockey players on Earth at this
point right now on ice and not scored, then maybe
that's a legit excuse. If Nathan McKinnon had missed an
open net or Taves hadn't scored when fucking Hellibuck just
goalied the fuck out of him. Our goalie, Connor Hellbuck
is a badass, and he choked in the Four Nations.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Tournament ainst Canada last year.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
He's had some questionable moments in big games where it
was like, Connor Helbuck can't win the big one, won
the big one. It's ours now, Hockey's our sports. Sorry Canada, sorry,
all right, like and then and then then we win,
and I was so excited. I had not been on
the app Threads in a very long time, so I
got on Threads and was just like, best hockey country

(30:47):
in the world. Fuck yeah. Didn't look at Threads again
for the rest of the day. Got home after work Monday,
looked at threads. What the fuck, dude, what the fuck
the fuck.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
You guys you got blah blah blah blah. Canada was
bird Canada wasn't a bad team. Better team wins gold,
all right. It wasn't like the ref.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Was like, no, we're gonna give you this, No, We're
just gonna do this, okay, cool, Like it wasn't none
of that, absolutely none of that ref's miss calls on
both sides.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
You can't just blame it on anything like that.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
It was a three on three hockey game, bitching about
the format of overtime when both teams had to play
and overtime both teams made. Teams made their team knowing
they could get over team. You just sort of loseing Canada.
But Threads, I thought, like people say Twitter's accessible, Threads successful,
that just thinks it's better than Twitter.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
That's what it is. I I did hear recently that
threads there are a bunch of Karens on them because
a lot of people from Facebook came over, Like because
threads also meta. Yeah, so they got all the Facebook
people to go to threads. Yeah, I can see a
lot of Karens on Like, I can see that. But

(31:52):
it's like I thought Twitter, They're like, Twitter is accessible,
but Twitter. I appreciate Twitter because I know it's garbage.
When I'm going in I'm slinging mud with you. I'm
right there, I'm in the mud with you. You are
also in the mud with me.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
Fred's you can bitch it somebody and then limit who
can reply, like you can comment on my themes, like
fuck you, and then make it to where I can't
comment back.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
On your reply to me, I didn't that, Like, no,
you shouldn't be.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
That's a don't come at the comments if you can't
get commented back. That makes no sense. I don't understand that.
But then it's the fucking loser. And then they'll they'll
they think they're dunking, and so the next day I
was like, if you uh so. Basically what they were
bitching about was the fact that after the United States won,
it was awesome again. First time we won gold and
men's hockey in forty six years. Incredible feat. They were

(32:38):
pretty excited, as many teams are after they win a championships.
So they did their postgame press conference. You can see
in the postgame press conference Jack Hughes, it was just
it was I've got tons of memes from this game
alone that will be probably nominated for Meme of the Year.
You had Jackiughes whose teeth were missing. You had the
Connor Hella bucks stop. You had the Canadian guy guy

(33:00):
who got silver where the hand him a stuffed animal
and he's just looking really sad. Like all of that
going with it. But they were drinking pretty heavily. Jack
uses many points during their press gums like, hey, there's
one more beer, Just give me another, Give me another beer.
Where he's having to chug the beer back because he
doesn't want to hit the nerve endings on his broken
teeth because it would hurt him. So he's just housing beers,

(33:22):
just pouring beers down his throat essentially, and then they
go to the locker room where guess what they party.
That's what happens in a championship. You've seen two astros championship.
What do they do? They go back and they just
quietly play cards with their friends or do they go
pop champagne and party, because that's what the United State
States did.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
And then.

Speaker 3 (33:39):
Unbeknownst to them, the FBI got head FBI director Cash
Patel was in there and they were like, what's up, Cash.
They gave him beer, he was drinking beers with him.
They took pictures with him because he posed your pictures
with him, and one of them put.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
The gold medal around his neck.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
They were drunk guys that had just won their first
gold medals. I don't understand if like, I don't know.
But later later on then Cash like Donald Trump's on
the phone, and Trump's like, would like to have you
the White House.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
It's gonna be great.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
I guess we're gonna have We're gonna have to invite
the women as well, obviously, because I would be impeached
if they didn't.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
And they were just okay, cool, that's what that's what
they did. That's what it. Then they partied and and
that is it.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
And in that moment, to many people, you could have
just been like, I don't know, like the president probably,
like the President of the United States has called many
teams that have won championships. I would imagine I know that,
like he called the Daytona five hundred winner guy like
the other week, Like it's not an uncommon thing, I
think for teams that have won championships in like the

(34:42):
most prime time moments. So he calls him, he's I'm
gonna invite the women. I don't want to get impeached. Okay,
that could be you can look at that as a
misogynistic comment. Yeah, all right, if you want to say
it is, okay, I'll give it to you. I'll give
it to you. I don't think the dudes, none of
the dudes were like fuck damn, yeah, right, why the
fuck should they get invited? He said, he's going to
invite them, and they were like, ah, okay. Then I

(35:02):
think they were laughing at the impeachment joke. One of
them was like, yeah, two for two, Hell yeah. He's
being supportive of the women. All of the interviews leading
up to the game, we're talking about like Jackie was
talked about the first person he thought of when he
scored his Megan Caller scored the women's game goal, because
he was like, I was with her in the cafeteria
to say, and how proud I was of her, and
I was so happy for and it's just something that

(35:23):
I wish that we could get as the men's side,
and they finally did, and he was like, that was
the first fucking person I thought of.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
I don't think he was just like fuck women.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
I don't think that any of the players on TMOSA
at any point in time were like, fuck women, let's
go be misogynistic against women. When they won, they got
Johnny Goodreau's jersey that they've had in their locker room.
Johnny Goodreau was going to be on TMOSA. He and
his brother were hitting killed by drunk drivers two years ago,
and his son's birthday was Sunday. His son's second birthday

(35:51):
was Sunday. They went, they held his jersey out, they
went and got his kids from the stands because his
parents flew in his with his widow and they had
the kids on the ice with the gold medals and
the Johnny grew Joe jersey.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
I was crying watching it. I was just like he did.
He was there, that was there, was it was, it was.
It was awesome.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
And then people just turned that into like they're just
using these children for propagand top up.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
No they're not. They were guys think he was one
of their buddies.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
So many of them have played together since they were
like six, eight, ten years old, and that was somebody
that made a lot to them. They weren't just using
children as as as punt. If you don't like Donald Trump,
I I get it, I get it. I understand. If
you don't like Donald Trump, that's fine. You don't like
cash hotel being there, I understand that that's not the
player's fault. The players weren't like cash. We're gonna fly
in like he flew on taxpayer dollars whatever. I don't
I don't know my tax has been spent on dumb

(36:39):
shit anyways, And honestly, if my taxes are spent on
beer for gold medalists, I'm fine with that. Okay, I'm
I'm cool with that. Maybe not him going there, I don't.
I don't understand that. But then to just take away
everything and make it like these guys are like because
they took a phone call on speakerphone that they didn't
make their predators and their sex offenders and they are

(37:01):
pedophile protectors. That's not that's I don't think that's what
it makes them. Does that make sense or does that
Like I understand people being like, man, you could have
hung up, but like I just in the middle of
a championship celebration. Did they expect them to be like, hey, Donald,
while we got you on the phone, actually what you
said was super duper missogynistic.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
You shouldn't be talking about the women like that.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
Also, let's discuss I ran and everything else going on, Like,
let's get to the bottom of some things, because you
should figure it out with the United States Hockey team.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
That's how we're going to solve these world problems.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Should they have been like no, fuck you, Donald and
then hung up, like wouldn't that have made it more
about that than the celebration.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Yeah, I just don't, like I can understand just be like.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
Like kind of cower and a way. And I think
a lot of them were like, this is an awkward situation.
I don't know what to do. Who's this guy. I
think a lot of the hockey players probably didn't know
who cash Hotel was.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Yeah, until they were told that. I don't like cash
Hotel inserting himself into the situation.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
Like and I'm I'm absolutely and I get that there,
but he's in the locker room. You're partying, yet, who's
this guy? Okay, what's up? High five somebody? You must
know somebody, Like I think that's probably the vibe that
was going on. You've had seven eight beers at that point,
you're partying, Like all you're thinking about is like, this
was one of the best days of my career, one
of the best days of my life. I don't think that,

(38:17):
like the thought like, oh well, hey, hey dude, you
got to get the fuck out of here, Like that
makes it more awkward.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
That takes away from your day.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
It's like if there's a fight at your wedd Like
if there was a fight at my wedding, I wouldn't
be like, hey, we're gonna stop the wedding real fast,
like stop it, take him out that, take him outside,
take it out, like you know that you've had to
figure it out out that way. Then, like it is
not uncommon for champions to be invited to the White House.
They went to the White House and people were fucking
pissed about it. I get it, you don't have to go,

(38:45):
but it's the President of the United States, and if
you don't like the President again, you don't have to go.
I don't care if you go, but to be like,
how dare them go? It's a fucking white House. The
White House is cool shit, I don't care who's in
it was it? But is it weirder for them to
be invited to the Fate of the Union?

Speaker 1 (39:01):
I thought that. I think that was I thought that
was odd.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
But also I think the State of Union just happening
to be Yeah, this week also played into it. I
think if that if the Olympics were six months ago,
I don't think these are, and then what have you
in the State of the Union for say, in six months,
whom now would bring you back? It'll be great. I
think if the State of the union was next week.
Probably doesn't happen. I think that it was just like
the time that it happened with I mean weird. You

(39:26):
can be like, yeah, they're getting used a puppets. I
think they're just dudes that were stoked to be like
one of the greatest achievements a lot of them have made.
They are celebrating that, and they're being celebrated. Yeah, they
went to a club that also had Schippers in Miami
and got the party for one hundred and fifty thousand
dollars tab that Pat mcafe paid.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
That was cool. But they want to gold metal for
their country. That's fine.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
I don't know, like to be like they're all a
bunch of misogynistic pigs. You can think what you want,
but most of the people I feel like in threads.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
So yeah, so yeah. Then I commented, I was like,
if you can't.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
Hold on, let me right, I'm gonna I'm wanting to
read it to you and then I'm gonna give you
my phone so you can look at the interactions that
I got because they are mean.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
And then then I was.

Speaker 3 (40:00):
Trying to control. I was trying to control again today,
So then they.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Got even more. Then yeah.

Speaker 3 (40:08):
Well my second one, I said, shout out to anybody
that can enjoy the US hockey gold medal wins because
of politics. I mean, I think you're an absolute loser
for not being able to experience any joy in one
of the coolest sports things our country's ever done. But
I do respect the commitment. I have four hundred and
one comments on it. And I was just like today,
and so they're still coming in with just me being

(40:28):
a pedophile, me being a pedophile protected. I was like, no, no,
I'm just saying like I watched for the hockey, not
for the politics, and I think people are able to
do that. Yeah, and then I'm privileged. Okay, I might
be privileged. I'm a white guy. I'm sure a straight
white guy. I'm sure there's some sort of privilege. I
didn't like choose the privilege. I don't understand that's and
as a white dude, I get it people don't get
the same thing. But then it's like, what do you
want me to do, like just never watch hockey again,

(40:49):
because I'm not gonna do that. If I was already
watching hockey and they were never watching hockey, like I
you're you're not part of this, but it was it
was a weird thing that just threads. I posted the
same thing on Twitter, didn't get anybody who arguing with
me kind of see the bait. So then I this morning,
I was like, imagine saying I'm a feminist when I'm
literally a three time WNBA Fantasy champion. Oh you three?

(41:11):
That one's good? Oh yeah, yeah, you use exploit women, yeah,
because I'm I'm actually coaching these women. I'm teaching them
how to win championships. But I don't know, it was
weird that people took like one of the coolest things
that's been done in sports, at least like top three
in my in my life, and it was just like,
means nothing. I don't think it means the women's game.

(41:31):
I don't think that it means anything less. I think
the women's championship is awesome as well. I bought a
fucking women's women's gold medal jersey or not jersey shirt.
I was partying when we they won, and I bought
the first little link that was like championship years, like
yep about the hoodie. I bought the white shirt. I
bought the Navy shirt. I bought the women's white shirt.

(41:53):
And then I bought a beanie, so I bought five things,
and then there was another site that was dropping five
stuff too. It was like things that can't it's better
than the United States at hockey and it was just
crossed out and I was.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
Like, I'm getting that, and it was World Champs.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
I got another one like that, So I have like
seven things just from that. I just emptied the clip
on my bank account like when that was out there,
so I was like.

Speaker 1 (42:17):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (42:18):
No, I'm so excited for this, And to just take
politics to like say like that ruins it. You don't
have to watch the NHL. Lot of people weren't watching the
NHL anyways, but it's just weird to be like it's
the worst thing that's ever like it's it was like
it was like Canadians nine to eleven, or like certain
people on Threads is nine to eleven to watch people celebrate.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
I don't think they chose all of that.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
I think that a lot of that was stuff that
happened to them, and yeah, they could have been like
fuck you, but I think that also it makes it
weirder to like you're immediately distancing yourself and you're Yo,
Well he did this, he did that, he did that.

Speaker 1 (42:50):
He's this person.

Speaker 3 (42:51):
I understand that, and I don't like the dude either,
but like I don't know, like if I'm not going
to ruin my celebration, you know, the the biggest achievement
that I have because he to come into a locker room,
and I feel like those dudes should be given a
little bit of grace in that.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
Also, fuck, you can't. Let's go say, okay, we're the
greatest country in the world. Um do you do you
regret not watching it? Like you need to go watch
the goal, dude, Just watch the goal. The goal was awesome.

Speaker 3 (43:16):
He's not gonna immediate thing to me because I don't
know how impressive it is. Jack Hughes got his teeth
knocked out and then like got up, didn't miss a shift,
and then in over time it was like, I'll still
score with the teeth out.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
That's fine. I don't care.

Speaker 3 (43:28):
He's had an American flag bleeding draped around him, smiling
because he won a gold. It's just the biggest gap
tooth smile ever because he's missing teeth.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
It's wild. It was exactly what hockey is.

Speaker 3 (43:43):
That's these guys are are heathens that lose They lose teeth,
they don't even have all yet. No, that's who scores
our goals. That's it. There's as american as we could be.
Like they've a bald eagle had landed on the ice.
That's like the only thing that would have made it
more American. But then all the pick of eagles on
top of Canadian flag.

Speaker 1 (44:02):
Poles the next day was pretty great. It's pretty great.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
I don't know if they were photoshops. I'm gonna choose
to believe that a lot of them were real, but
freebird in the United States of America, they're back. Shout
out to Team USA. All right, Threads is back too,
because it's a weird spot.

Speaker 1 (44:17):
It's a weird spot. They're really mean. Do you want
to read some of the comments?

Speaker 3 (44:20):
Like you don't have to read them outloud, but like
just and so I started replying because I was like,
I'm gonna troll.

Speaker 1 (44:25):
That's how you found out that some of them had
the settings where you couldn't reply back.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
Well, well, I know, because sometimes I'm like I'm not
like I didn't say anything about pedophiles, Like I didn't
say anything about fucking kids. I'm not a pedophile for
saying go Team USA, but like, just dude, there, there's just.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
So many of them. They're so mean. Yeah, so Threads
is back, but also in a bad way, in a
bad way. And then girl Scouts are back.

Speaker 3 (44:49):
I I've been for years telling you that I think
girl Scouts are money laundering. It's a money laundering front.
I think that maybe they do teacher girls good qualities,
like leadership and all of that. I understand that, but
the cookie thing is a scam and somebody's been skimming
off the top. There was a girl that sold sixty
thousand boxes of cookies. Sixty thousand box of cookies, that's

(45:11):
palettes of cookies. She's selling to people, and they gave
her a trip to Niagara Falls. To Niagara Falls. Somebody
did the math and they're like, at six dollars a
box time, sixty thousand, she shouldn't have to pay for college.

Speaker 1 (45:26):
Uh huh, you should send her to college.

Speaker 3 (45:29):
They're sending it into Niagara Falls, not even out of
the country.

Speaker 1 (45:32):
She's not going to a Ruba. Yeah, she stays on
the United States side.

Speaker 3 (45:36):
Yeah, I've never been to Niagara Falls, but like, you're
gonna send a. I think she's in second grade. You're
gonna sit a second grader, Like, that's gonna be the
big thing, that's gonna be the thing.

Speaker 1 (45:46):
Girl Scouts? What are you doing? Where's that money going? Huh?

Speaker 3 (45:48):
She just funded the Girl Scouts for another two years
and that's just one girl's that's so much money she
raised to be like, here's a two thousand dollars trip.

Speaker 1 (46:00):
Fuck off. Thanks.

Speaker 3 (46:02):
See these falls on the shitty side. It's ridiculous. So
for anybody that was like on the fence about Girl
Scout Cookies being a front there front, I didn't buy
him this year. I did share a thing. It was like, hey,
don't forget.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
They don't.

Speaker 3 (46:16):
I mean most of them don't know if that money
is real or not. So if you want to scam
some you give him a fake twenty hair in there.
Maybe not every time, every every now yeah they won't
yeah uh. And then again, if you're scamming a scammer,
no one, no one loses, all right. Also back in
the last thing I brought is monkeys. Finally got another

(46:38):
monkey that's captured the hearts of America Harambe, who met
his brutal end later on, hopefully this doesn't happen the same.

Speaker 1 (46:46):
But punch the monkey. Are you familiar with punch? I
am not familiar with You're fucking familiar with punch, buddy?

Speaker 3 (46:52):
How these days all over my algorithm, it's hockey and
it's hockey and punch the monkey on my thing.

Speaker 1 (46:57):
He was a little little little monkey. His mom this
is disowned him.

Speaker 3 (47:02):
I guess I don't know why, but they just were like, no,
we want nothing to do with you. Didn't want to
It wasn't feeding him, wasn't doing anything. They had to
put in his own little spot. It's in the Tokyo Zoo,
so he's all alone and they're like, look at this
little sad monkey. And then somebody gave him an orangutang,
little stuffed animal, and that was like his comfort animal,
and he was it was showing him like trying to
go make friends, and they would they would squawk at

(47:24):
him or whatever they do, or they'd push at they'd
push him or be mean to him, and then he'd
run off and run back to his little rangutang and
it was just like me and like that was the meme.
It was just me and my orangutang, Like this is
who you're really making fun of right now, it's just
me with my little toy.

Speaker 1 (47:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (47:38):
And then finally, like yesterday day before, an adult monkey
that he got moved to another enclosure with gave him
a hug. And so now he's found he's found the
love of someone else. He gave him, gave him a
warm hug, but punched monkey. Cute s little guy, cueous
little guy out there.

Speaker 1 (47:58):
I did not know any of this.

Speaker 3 (47:59):
It's also good that he's very far away from Cincinnati. Okay,
so that's that is good. We need to keep him
as far from Cincinnati as as humanly possible.

Speaker 1 (48:08):
But just Google punch the monkeys, give him a look,
give him up, look him up. I've heard the name
the monkey Rock.

Speaker 3 (48:16):
But this is one of those things where I just
feel like I don't want to get involved.

Speaker 1 (48:20):
You need to get involved. It should be.

Speaker 3 (48:21):
It's the best You'll never be like is this isn't
the hockey thing where you could take.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
It one way or the other. No, No, let's we
should find a way to be mad. You know, if
you google it Google, Oh, fine, to look at it.
It's a little heart to the monkey on it. That's great,
that's great. I feel like this is the same thing
with like Moodang. I kind of just stayed away from
Moodang as well.

Speaker 3 (48:41):
Moodang with Cincinnati z so we don't fuck with Mudan.
I know Moodang wasn't it was the other hippo, the
Cincinna's Moodang fucked.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
We like Mudang.

Speaker 3 (48:50):
Dang's very cute, but she got big now probably so
she so we don't hear about her anymore because he mean,
he's he not the cutest thing ever look at that.

Speaker 1 (48:58):
Guy, but well stuffed animal. This is a little.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
Nothing better ever happened to punch, because I will I
will hurt someone if something happens to punch. Okay, I
will go to Tokyo, which I have again countries. I
have no interest in going to Japan, not don't want
to go there. I will go to that X add
add that to the list. You ever is in charge
of the list. I think you were in charge of
the list across that Japan. Yeah, okay, I will have
to go there if I have to fight somebody, if

(49:24):
anything were to ever happen to punch. All right, if
you take your children to the Tokyo Zoo, keep them
as far away from the openings of that enclosure as possible,
because if they go in there, they should be the
ones put down. Okay, Punch should be protected at all costs.
And also he should be brought to America because he
is our just not Cincinnati. Wereham in Texas. Texas will
be fine. We'll protect him.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
We should just keep.

Speaker 3 (49:46):
Him in this studio and we would protect him and
be his best friends. Give him all the hugs. Would
you hug Punch?

Speaker 1 (49:52):
I would.

Speaker 3 (49:53):
Maybe that's that's the only thing that he run off to,
his little stuffed animal.

Speaker 1 (49:58):
You're the problem. I just I would give him all
this a little bit, Punch, come over here. I woud
teach him how smoke cigarettes. He'd be so cute. Smoke
a little cigarette here.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
Maybe he shouldn't come to the s Come on, he'd
be so sick. I teach you about gamble, we teach
about podcast. He could just hold a microphone, dude like
random fucking little monkey sounds gambler. Yeah, we could bet
on how I take him to eat a banana each podcast.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
That'd be fun.

Speaker 3 (50:25):
Just in the background if there was just Punch, They're
just eating a banana. Everybody in the comments could put
a bet on how long it takes. It'd be great.
It'd be great brought to you by one hundred gambler.
It could be shot to punch though I love punch.

Speaker 1 (50:37):
That guy rocks. Moving on, let's get to the Not
Cool seven.

Speaker 3 (50:41):
Tell you what's not cool according to us this week,
and we actually are gonna.

Speaker 1 (50:47):
Use some of your not cools.

Speaker 3 (50:48):
If you have a not cool and you'd like to participate,
hit us up on x rat Pass grape Pod, use
the hashtag PTG not cool. Try and summarize you're not
cool in like three to four sentences, Max, and you know,
just explain what's going on. What made you say? Hey, man,
that's not cool. You know you StEB your toe not cool.
You can run over by a train also not cool.
There's varying degrees. And we're gonna start off this Week's
Not Cool with Josh Tree Caudle at Joshua Tree three

(51:11):
to the theme song, Yeah obviously not cool man, that's yeah,
obviously we're gonna do that. Shout out to joshre just
wanted to give a shout out because he's awesome.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
Man. It's not cool. Suck Josh Tree.

Speaker 3 (51:32):
Cattle at Joshua Tree seven one three has our first
not cool this week, and he says, I had a
couple of not cools happened recently. Two of my gravy
awards fell off the shelf and broke, and the oil
in my car keeps dropping, and when I tried to
get it fixed, they still haven't figured out what is
causing it.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
All of those are bad things, yeah, the worst being
the gravy.

Speaker 3 (51:54):
As most importantly, if you tried like grinding him up
and putting them in your oil, and maybe the gold
and the gravy awards will fix it. Gold fixes a
lot of problems. Actually, it also creates a lot of problems.
So it's a hit or miss. Is your oil liberal
or not liberal?

Speaker 1 (52:11):
Is your oil running? You better go catch it? Yeah?
That sucks, dude. Car trouble. Yeah, that's the worst.

Speaker 3 (52:20):
And then your most prestigious awards that you've won. That's awful.
Do we have any extra gravy awards.

Speaker 1 (52:28):
I don't think we do.

Speaker 3 (52:29):
I might have wear an extra gold medal. I was
gonna bring us all the gold medals. If I do
have an extra gold medal, it's yours, Josh. If not,
maybe I'll order you another, right know, now we have
to do like you have to like U do like
an honorary award for him the next gravies like like
maybe like a purple heart be like for the fallen.
We'll have any memorial and it will be the two

(52:50):
gravy awards.

Speaker 1 (52:50):
It dropped. I think I've seen that the like Academy
Awards or any of those other award shows. If the
winner wants another award, like they have to pay.

Speaker 3 (53:01):
Yeah, it's like the Super Bowls, like if you want
the team gets the trophy. But if you can like
buy a replica as a player, maybe he has to
buy a replica. Yeah you can buy it. I can, yep,
I can, he yep. Hit me up, Josh, I'll figure
it out. But that does suck. Dude, Teas and peas.
Brother Ray Mundo b Navidez is at K Mundo b

(53:22):
on X and he says, I don't remember what I
did with the eighty dollars in cash I had in
my pocket at the bar.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
I woke up in the morning and it was gone.

Speaker 3 (53:32):
And when I looked at my card statements, it says
I put the tip on my card. I like you, Mundo,
but I've fung out with you before, and I feel
like you're very well could have been drunk and.

Speaker 1 (53:42):
Been like, you know what great service.

Speaker 3 (53:44):
I could see you putting eight dollars in cash into
a tip jar because you're a nice guy. He's a
generous guy. Ramundo, sweetest guy ever you met him?

Speaker 1 (53:52):
You know him? Yeah, I think I remember saying he's
talking about Valentine's I believe.

Speaker 3 (53:59):
He might be yes, yeah, maybe, but some day I
can see him. Just love was in the air. Dude,
put a little little extra cash to the tip jar.

Speaker 1 (54:09):
That is the worst. When you're like, I had money,
where did it go?

Speaker 3 (54:13):
It's the exact opposite of when you like put a
coat on for the first time in a year, like,
oh hell yeah, there was twenty in this.

Speaker 1 (54:19):
Oh no, what did I do with that? That sucks? Dude.
T's and pas brother Sam has that version, but it's
always tissues. She has tissues everywhere, so she puts on
a new pair of pants or a coat or something like, oh,
I found tissues in the podcaton.

Speaker 3 (54:35):
My wife does that as well, and then every time
I'm moving stuff from the laundry that's hers, I'm like,
oh cool, tissues is just disintegrated.

Speaker 1 (54:42):
Yeah, good, Yeah, this is cool.

Speaker 3 (54:44):
For all the black clothes that I put in here,
it definitely won't stick to it.

Speaker 1 (54:48):
Yeah, I had to tell her, like, just check your pocket,
put your hand pocket check. Though I thought that was
a guy thing.

Speaker 3 (54:54):
It was always I feel like growing up, it was
always well, oh my husband never texted out.

Speaker 1 (54:58):
Of your parents. It's like this first thing I do
is empty the pockets. Look at us, we're set. We're
the model. We're the models in our house citizens all right.

Speaker 3 (55:09):
Next up, we've got Dave t at PPWL one on
X and he says it's not cool as mfers that
park in two spots. Your car's not even that nice.
And he just shows a white truck that took up
two parking spots. Yeah, you just I don't I don't understand.
I don't understand the logical, like I need two of
these if you have a regular car. Yeah, it's not

(55:31):
like you have an RV.

Speaker 1 (55:32):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (55:33):
You're the fire truck. Yeah, you probably got to park
up top. I understand that you don't need.

Speaker 1 (55:38):
A parking two spots. It's weird. It's weird.

Speaker 3 (55:42):
Some places in my building they'll buy two spots so
they can they can park there, and I'm like, I
can't get mad at that, but you're paying for two spots.

Speaker 1 (55:49):
It might be a little bit more acceptable if they're
at the very back, if they're the furthest spot away,
but if they're like up close anyway midway through and
they're taking up two spots, people worried about parking this
finest spot peak get out. It's over.

Speaker 3 (56:05):
Speaking of parking, Todd Voss has another not cool and
it is correlated at as Underscore seeing Underscore by Underscore TV,
and Todd says he's not cool is that some asshole
parked in front of me and dented my license plate
with their trailer hitch when they backed in. I know
that it's only a dented license plate, but it's infuriating. Yeah,

(56:27):
I mean you can bend it back probably, but like
to have the trailer hitch.

Speaker 1 (56:30):
You know what you're doing, you.

Speaker 3 (56:32):
Know that you're you're more likely to do damage to others.
I think the trailer hitch is always a hack because
then if anybody rear ends you and fucks their car
up and not yours. But then if you back into spots,
like everybody with a fucking truck wants to do. You're
that guy you just run in with a battering ram
as you're backing into people.

Speaker 1 (56:52):
At my mom's place, like a year or so ago,
her boyfriend had a truck parked outside and this was
like in the middle of the night, across the shreet
of the neighbors. They were leaving, so they reversed out
and they hit the his truck and the hitch got
stuck to their truck the door and stuff, no, like

(57:15):
the back, so like they were backing out and they
got to the hitch of my mom's boyfriend's car and
then they couldn't separate, so they they was they spent
a lot of time, well they saw this through the
camera the next morning. They spent a lot of time
trying to like accelerate out and then they ended up
moving the truck that my boyfriends my mom's boyfriend's truck,

(57:38):
and they were like jumping on the truck trying to
push it down so that it could come dislodge. And
they eventually got it out, but it took a while.
Leave a note no no, Originally they just tried to
bounce and hope you get it happened, but y'all got
them though, Yeah, on camera. Originally, Originally my mom thought

(57:58):
they thought that they were trying to deal the truck
because they like they just like hitched to it and
try to take it, but the truck was too heavy.

Speaker 3 (58:05):
But I think it was just an accident where they
just backed up. They went too far when they were
backing up, and they just like just got crossed.

Speaker 1 (58:11):
I had to mess up his truck pretty bad, though,
So what do they do? I don't think anything happening.
They didn't go across the stream, Like, what the fuck
was up with your friend? I don't think they did. No, no,
they didn't, because it wasn't someone that was visiting across
the street. It was just someone that was like trying
to use that as to turn so like they had

(58:34):
come in, they went in and like immediately try to
like turn in, and I hope they had the worst
time ever. Yeah, I hate those people.

Speaker 3 (58:40):
That's the worst doing something like that and then just
bouncing like that's just the worst crime that you could
ever play out for yourself.

Speaker 1 (58:49):
That sucks. But it's actually that makes Todd's story not
that bad. But that is infuriating. It just like when
you have the trailer hitch, Yeah, you're gonna avoid being
rear ended.

Speaker 3 (59:00):
As bad as a lot of other people. But it'll
be fucking careful when you're backing into shit. And if
you do that, like that's on you. You're a dick,
all right, don't be a dick when you're back in.
If you got a trailer hitch, all right, I can
go first because mine will be pretty quick. But the
armadillos are back. We're just we're nipping it in the butt.
I already got the armadilla stuff. I poured it all
down the little hole there.

Speaker 1 (59:20):
I've got some my landloads listening to this. I definitely
don't have stuff coming that's.

Speaker 3 (59:25):
Gonna harden and then maybe turn into something that I
don't even know. Yeah, like there wouldn't be like any
sort of like I don't think there's any kind of like,
it's definitely not that. It's definitely not that that. Then
we'll get covered by dirt that then they can't even
dig through. And then also if there's ever any repairs,
we might not be able to get to it.

Speaker 1 (59:43):
But that's fine, it's fine, not my problem, not my house.
I don't know it. It's okay.

Speaker 3 (59:48):
Like I've asked for stuff and they said, you can
just trap it with this cage. That doesn't work.

Speaker 1 (59:53):
Here you go. So I got it.

Speaker 3 (59:54):
They matters in my own hand, but I covered the
I got home for the weekend, I was gone and
took my dog out. The whole hole under our little
patio was right there. That means they had dug back
under there. I covered it back up, and then yesterday
they had started to dig it again, but I didn't
putting a ton of rocks to block it, so you
could tell they were like discouraged. I don't know if
they had gone in, but they had started digging again.

(01:00:16):
So I bought the armadillo repellent and it says like
to dilute it with water and stuff, and I'm like, nah,
I'm not doing that. I just bought two this time
and just drenched all the dirt around it. It smells,
it's like not bad, but it's citrusy. Yeah, it's like
a citrus smell, but it's so citrusy. So you're just like, what,
what did somebody poor? It smells like not like a

(01:00:38):
cleaning solution, but like when somebody goes hard on the
cleaning solution, like if you just squeeze a thousand lemons
to the point where it major knows like sting like Bleach.

Speaker 1 (01:00:49):
Kind of does.

Speaker 3 (01:00:50):
If I'm standing right over it, it it just punches
you in the face. So I would imagine Armadillo is
not gonna have a great time coming by. Yeah we
had any problems since I did that yesterday, but I'm
ready to go like it's we're ending it.

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
It's not gonna happen. Yeah, you got to be proactive
about it because last time they had fleas, right, Yeah,
and we're not doing that.

Speaker 3 (01:01:08):
Yeah, we're not doing that. I walked around yesterday and
Schwartz was like, all right, bite me if you're here.
Didn't get me yet, so knock on where we're okay, right,
But the Dillos are back. The only problem for them
is daddy's ready for warning.

Speaker 1 (01:01:20):
Get prepaired.

Speaker 3 (01:01:21):
This daddy wasn't ready for I'm like home alone, like
I saw what you were doing to the other houses.
I've laid out my plan and now I'm going to
Kevin mccawi's to the fuck Eddy and it's not gonna
be fun.

Speaker 1 (01:01:30):
It's not gonna be fun. Hey, I got these Armadillos.
They're back.

Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
Oh I killed them and then put them in the cage. Oops,
come pick up your cage please. What do you have
is you're not cool?

Speaker 1 (01:01:40):
This morning I woke up with toothpain in one specific tooth,
this tooth right here, like it feels did you ever
have gum and use the rapper as like a grill?

Speaker 3 (01:01:50):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
Yeah? Did that ever hurt your teeth if you're like fillings, yeah,
you had to be like the metal yeah yeah, it
was likely with aluminum foil.

Speaker 1 (01:01:57):
Yeah, do that with yeah. Yeah, it feels like that
on on one specific tooth that just randomly just today
this morning is like that, still going all day, still
going on. Yeah. I felt a little bit earlier, got
some oral gel maybe and domed, but what about Yeah,
I don't know. It's just sensitive. It's just just sensitive

(01:02:19):
to touch, hot and cold. Yeah, especially like just breathing
in like by breathing with my mouth open and that's
the word. Little thing.

Speaker 3 (01:02:27):
That's all you'll do all day. Yeah, to the test
today it's still hurt. Still does like if you got
anything on your tooth, your tongue is just wraw. The
next day he's like, yeah, I've been rubbing on my
tooth the whole time with my time why is it cut? Oh,
because that's all you did all day? Idiot that sucks.
Toothing is one of the worst. And then you're like,

(01:02:49):
just please don't be bad, Please just be a cavity.
If it is pleas be an easy cavity. There's be
a root canalsn time me that I got like gum
disease or some shit like that.

Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
I don't know. It's the worst. When's last time you
wady di dentist? Two years ago? Yeah, maybe two years
three years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:03:13):
You should probably get checked out, tho if it keeps
going on, Yeah, I probably won't probably not.

Speaker 1 (01:03:20):
Won't pull it. Hockey player jack us, it's sick. It
was worse in the morning, so it's uh, it's less now,
it's less painful now. So I think it just can
be like one of those one off, weird things that happens.
But I'll report back. I'll report back. Hopefully it's just
just the one day.

Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
Well those are not cool segment. There you go, and
also Pat not being here and not cool after a
gold medal game, man the fuck not a very gold medals.

Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
Very Canadian move on your part. We'll get him. Maybe
he's upsetable. We should take his gold medal and give
it to Josh.

Speaker 3 (01:03:54):
Yeah, Josh probably deserves it more than him, and then
we'll get pat of shitty stuffed animal.

Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
I just bring in what was up with that? I
did hear that they were giving stuff animals after the loss.

Speaker 3 (01:04:06):
I don't know if it's like I think like with
not one hundred percent sure, but I feel like I've
seen it in the past where it's like the Olympics,
you get like your metal, and then you get like
a gift with the medal, and it's always some like
little trinket.

Speaker 4 (01:04:18):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:04:18):
In Athens, Grease they had the little like the crown,
like the where like the leafs thing like they'd put
that on.

Speaker 1 (01:04:26):
That makes sense, it's in Grease. I don't know what
they did.

Speaker 3 (01:04:30):
And some of the other places, like they should in
Italy give them a meatball or something, but like TheInk.
In Japan or Beijing they they had like the little
doll that was the Olympic mascot. It was the Olympic
mascot doll. It was just like a little tiny plush
doll that they gave him. And I think that was
just like here's metal, here's this thing, here's your metal.

Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
Here's this thing.

Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
When you get the gold. I don't think you fucking
care because you're like, I got a gold medal when
you're sad, like that's the and that's the worst about
Like if you do like Loge and Bob said, you
came in second place with your time, like when you're
second in a team sport like that, especially when you
lose it every time, it's like, oh, you just lost,
Like you win the bronze medal game and you won

(01:05:09):
that medal, you had silver because you didn't win gold.
I mean, obviously you got bronze. You didn't win gold,
but you had to win a bronze medal game with
you it's like a race. It's like that guy finished first, second, third, done.
You just came off like a debilitating loss and just
be like, oh fuck, America is gonna talk so much
shit now. Oh man, we were such a better team
than then. We should have smoked and how do we

(01:05:30):
not win? And then they're like, here's your fucking stuffed
animal loser.

Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
That was the best. And Nate McKinnon after.

Speaker 3 (01:05:39):
He missed an empty net and then bitch that that
they were the better team when he clearly wasn't the
better player having to just be sad doing that.

Speaker 1 (01:05:47):
Sidney Crosby looks old. Love that. I hate that guy.
It's good to see him not be able to hurt
us even though you couldn't play.

Speaker 3 (01:05:54):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
I just remembered about this. This completely random, but bring
it up. You saw the Texan new facility is going
to be out far right, Yeah, like out west side.

Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
Why why would they do that money? Are they just
getting like subsidized?

Speaker 1 (01:06:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:06:13):
I think it was the land as soon as the
units have all this and you make it really sick,
whereas like in downtown or not where Energy Stadium is,
I think to expand you're kind of just like, this
is the this is the plot we've got. Yeah, or
they can tear down the astrodrom No way, you're right,
You're right, that would be a better idea.

Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
Can just do that.

Speaker 3 (01:06:34):
But they would never do that because somebody's grandpappy took
him to that and we can't the memories. I can't
imagine that it's the Roman Coliseum to some people.

Speaker 1 (01:06:43):
They'll they'll get like people to visit the facilities and
whatever other district food restaurants whatever they're gonna have out there,
but I don't imagine that they'll get many more people
from out there to go to games. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:06:56):
I think, like I know, the Cowboys do this, like
they have it's called the Star and it's in Frisco,
which is they're in fucking Arlington, But Frisco's like, I think,
fifteen twenty minutes in Dallas, so it's like Arlington's another
fifteen twenty minutes, so it's like the opposite side, so
you got to go around Dallas. That's also great that
they're their facility is also still not in Dallas. It's

(01:07:18):
in a different city, but still not Dallas. Yeah, so
they do that, so they're not the only team to
do that, And I think it just kind of comes
down to like the land that you have for it.
But that way, I bet they could also have like camp,
like kids could have camps and stuff out in that
area as well. They can do a bunch of youth
stuff if they have extra fields and things like that.
You know, the dynam of a training facility that just

(01:07:39):
has a ton of youth fields on it as well,
and so people play tournaments and things there.

Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
I just like, I'm thinking, if I'm a big Ashle's
fan the Astress had a facility that was thirty plus
minutes away. I would not go to it, but you
would go to like training camp where it's gonna all
be there.

Speaker 3 (01:07:55):
You just wouldn't go because like you're not gonna be
going there and then having to go to a game.

Speaker 1 (01:07:59):
You'd be going to that or the game. Yeah, because
they have Are they gonna have training camp there? I
don't know. Probably eventually.

Speaker 3 (01:08:08):
I would imagine it will, but I don't think it
will open for like three years or four years right
something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:08:13):
I just I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
But now they have like their practice bubble and all
their training stuff is like right across from the stadiums.
They just walk over there or probably golf cart over
there or whatever that walk over overpast thing.

Speaker 1 (01:08:26):
The actuals have been talking about for a while now
having their own the battery and like like right there
right where Dykeing is. I don't know what the progress
is on that having the battery. Yeah, right, like the Braves.
The Braves have the battery. Is that like like a park,
like like they're like little district Like oh really yeah,

(01:08:47):
I mean that is downtown they kind of do you
just gonna walk across the almost thing. I think we're
going to like expand that.

Speaker 3 (01:08:54):
Yeah, and then they're gonna tear down all of that
stuff right by it too, to expand the freeway, so
they will hesitant to buy down.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
There right now. Oh yeah, just destroying shit. We don't
know what to be done, might be done.

Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
It might be done in fifty years, maybe don three years,
who knows, well, Like what am I gonna tell my
landlord if no one's coming because you're doing We don't
know do you want this land or not? Also, we
might take it and call it women a domain and
then fuck you, that's cool that you put this money
into this barkle.

Speaker 1 (01:09:24):
Fuck yourself, it's ours. We're the city. Neat. They've already
tried expanding the freeways before, they didn't really relieve traffic.

Speaker 3 (01:09:36):
Yeah, well anything that helps eventually, but it's going to
cause traffic to eventually be able to hopefully relieve it.
Moving on, though, let's get to the answer sement. Let's
wrap this bad boy up. Pat's gonna be so pissed
it fast. The answer segment, we do the precom statement
where we bring on our drunk ideas are dumb ideas,
whatever we have and then we pitched them to the boys,

(01:09:56):
see how they're good. Like maybe we want to give
money the gamblers. We want to give some money to
the game. Maybe give prizes on the gamblers hotline.

Speaker 1 (01:10:03):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (01:10:04):
If you've got a high thought, a drunk idea, you
want parenting advice, relationship advice, health advice. You want to
have power rank things and see what the best is.
We're going to be better at powerranking than anybody else.
Will give us five things to power rank and we
can do that. You won't know what color certain things are,
what a number smells like? Ask us anything anything you
got at past gray pod on X. You can also

(01:10:26):
or put hashtag ptg answers after it at past degree
pod on X hashtag ptg answers.

Speaker 1 (01:10:31):
That's how we search for it there.

Speaker 3 (01:10:32):
Or you could email us your questions past the gravy
Pot at gmail dot com put answers in the subjects
so we can search for it that way. It's past
greepot at gmail dot com with answers in the subject
on email or at past gray pod on X hashtag
ptg answers attached to your tweet. And this is the
answer segment, don't do you just answer the question. Just
answer the question.

Speaker 4 (01:10:51):
You a big deal answer answer.

Speaker 1 (01:10:54):
Don't thanks the subject, just answer question, kept.

Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Answer any questions?

Speaker 1 (01:11:08):
All right. Our first question this week comes from Aaron.

Speaker 3 (01:11:13):
Janice SEFs Janice Sesky, Janice Seski. Aaron, Aaron says, Aaron
J Aaron j yep. Aaron says, what is the perfect
number of people for a group chat? Okay, I was
thinking about this. This is a good question, and it
depends on who the people are, obviously, because there's some
people that are just the worst in a group. It's

(01:11:37):
just like you're gonna be blowing us up the whole time.
And then there's the guy that's in the group that
doesn't ever participate, So sometimes that guy doesn't really count.

Speaker 1 (01:11:43):
Like, I'm any groups with like eight.

Speaker 3 (01:11:44):
I mean, I've been in like the bachelor party groups
you get in sometimes wedding groups that could be a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
I like, the perfect number has to be somewhere between
three and six. I think.

Speaker 3 (01:11:56):
You me and pattern a really good one that's mostly
just like where we show up at this time of day?

Speaker 1 (01:12:00):
Did we do this? Hey?

Speaker 3 (01:12:01):
Did you see this thing that relates to the podcast.
Here's a funny thing. I'm in one with six and
seven people. I mean I think a five person one.
But then there's all like it just depends on who
the person is, because the guy that just spams the group,
and then there's people that ignore the group.

Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
And if you're in a group where you're the.

Speaker 3 (01:12:20):
Only one that really ever like because I feel like
you and Pat sometimes like we are more interactive than
a lot of times than a lot of groups I've
been in. But it's like sometimes I'm just like this
time today, this time today, and like unless something else
through us the weekends like that a bit the last thing,
and then you guys like, yep, I'll be there, yep,
be there. Pat was talking, we were figuring out the
logistic last night, but it was like everybody was participating in.

(01:12:40):
But then there's like there's groups that just we send
memes and then sometimes you're not on your phone and
you check and you have seventy seven messages and it's
because the group was sending memes and that's fine, But
I would say the I don't know, what do you think.
I settled on five. I think it's gotta be somewhere
between three and six. I think five is like a
perfect number. I am not a group chat person. I

(01:13:04):
think three total. That's what makes it a group chat.

Speaker 1 (01:13:09):
This is basically is the best because I don't I
don't like uh, group chat, I do think, especially because
I don't have my phone on like silent like it
is'll vibrate and so I don't want to just constantly
be vibrating. You can't mute it. I can't, but I
just don't want to. I have like.

Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
The majority of my groups I feel like are muted
because then I'll just look and see the education.

Speaker 1 (01:13:35):
Okay, I have eighty notifications one of the groups went off, yeah,
and I don't want that either because then I'm just
never gonna check it or I'm gonna come back to
it and there's gonna be that many messages and I'm like,
I'm not going to look through back through all this.
I don't even like texting. So many people like where
I'm in my messaging app and I have to scroll
to the bottom. As soon as I have to scroll,
I start deleting messages until I no longer really Yeah,

(01:13:57):
I just never delete them. I feel like, no, I
delete them. I don't know how many it is, but
like I just like, gone, you're gone, You're go. I've
texted you at all. It's probably still in that. No, yeah,
I don't. I don't like that.

Speaker 3 (01:14:07):
It's probably it's probably still in there though, like, uh,
my friend died in that passed away. Like sometimes when
I'm thinking of it, I'll just look at her like
last texts and like she had sent me those like
voice things where it's like your face as a duck
and it's just you. We would rap songs to each
other or sing songs to each other. But then it's
just like, all right, that made me feel better, but
like I had to like search it and do that.
But yeah, I don't know. I think five is like

(01:14:30):
the perfect number for a group chat anything. Over six,
it kind of like there's gonna be the guy that
overdoes it, and then there's probably gonna be two people
that don't respond that are just kind of in the
group but not in the group.

Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
And then I like it. Now you can just leave
and people don't see that you left the group. That's
that's also good. And I didn't know that that was
the thing because I knew like if you let people
would see that you left.

Speaker 3 (01:14:54):
I don't know, you can mute stuff now, but then
you can also just I don't want to be in
this group, and then the worst is then when they've
added you back to the group, like I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
Want to be in the group. Though I don't want
to be in this group, I'm not doing this. Do
you name your group chats? Sometimes?

Speaker 3 (01:15:08):
Well, I mean I can't with you because you don't
have an iPhone. If everybody's got an iPhone, there's usually
a name on it.

Speaker 1 (01:15:13):
What would you name it?

Speaker 3 (01:15:15):
We'll just name ours PTG. That would make the most
sense if I tried to name it. What did something
happened you? I don't know if like on all my
other ones I have, I guess nobody really cares where
the name is of my groups.

Speaker 1 (01:15:34):
But there I renamed it. Can you see that I
renamed it? I do not think so. No, it just
says your name and Pat's name. Oh wait, hold on, yeah,
I just I just clicked that. I just renamed. I
just changed it to PTG ship. There you go. But
I can't do it on my end. Oh wait, since

(01:15:56):
when can you? We're describing discovering things five?

Speaker 3 (01:16:00):
Oh you can't even I and this is recent. I
didn't realize that they could do it for a long time.
You couldn't change it between androids and apples.

Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
Hell yeah. Also, hell yeah, I might be going to
create three. Yeah, oh nice.

Speaker 3 (01:16:18):
Do you want to record Tuesday that week? Wednesday March tenth.
Let's record Tuesday March tenth. Record Tuesday March the album
That'll be Sick.

Speaker 1 (01:16:27):
All right? Cool?

Speaker 3 (01:16:27):
This is us just doing this is this is the
portion of the podcast where we're just doing scheduling. So
I'm gonna say group, the best number for a group
text is five.

Speaker 1 (01:16:36):
I'm gonna stay with three. Three is just as basically three.
But it's just like I don't need any more people. Yeah,
that's it. There's people that are in like with like
twelve thirteen people. That's crazy. That's crazy. I'm in two
group chats. I've been in more, but like I said,
like you leave them, I know, I just delete them. Yeah,
I just delete them. That's wild.

Speaker 3 (01:16:59):
Group group chats can get wild sometimes. And then there's
the ones that is like this serves its perfect this
purpose perfectly.

Speaker 1 (01:17:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:17:04):
Sometimes you get in ones for like events and then
like after the event, like six weeks later, hey man,
we're not in this event.

Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
Anymore.

Speaker 3 (01:17:10):
I don't know much Like I didn't save any of
these numbers. I'm getting rid of this. If the majority
of the numbers I have not saved, I'm just gonna
delete it the second that event's over.

Speaker 1 (01:17:19):
All. Right.

Speaker 3 (01:17:19):
Our next question from Robert Wingo, and Robert says, would
you rather address the elephant in the room or look
at what the cat dragged in?

Speaker 1 (01:17:28):
It's a good question. I never imagine the room that
the elephant is is in to be a good proportioned
sized room to the elephant. I imagine it to be
like a small room.

Speaker 3 (01:17:42):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
The elephant's big in the way. I wouldn't want to
deal with that. I think i'd rather deal with what
the cat dragged in because I would asume it's gonna
be something small. We'll see.

Speaker 3 (01:17:51):
I was gonna go the exact opposite of that, because
I would rather address the elephant in the room, because
an elephant would for would ever forget if I didn't
address the elephantybody, that's the motherfucker that never addressed me.

Speaker 1 (01:18:03):
Fuck you.

Speaker 3 (01:18:04):
Also, the elephant could crush me, and so I would
try and address the elephant it was in the room, like, hey,
I'm Alex I come in peace, Please do.

Speaker 1 (01:18:12):
Not stomp on me.

Speaker 3 (01:18:13):
We could be friends. I would love to hang out
with you, get to know you, Maybe hop on your
back and ride you around.

Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
That'd be really cool.

Speaker 3 (01:18:20):
We could squirt water at people if we could figure
out how to get out of this room that you
got in. First off, how did you get in this room?
Whereas the big door that brought you in they built
the house around, Like, how did this happen? I would
ask them so many questions, But then the elephant would
be like, I like this guy, and I'm never gonna
forget that. A cat with the cat drags didn't usually
a dead bug or mouse or animal or something like that,
You're probably gonna have to clean it up, probably made

(01:18:42):
a mess with it. You're like, you're less likely have
to clean up a dead thing with with there the
elephant the element. If I'm in the same room as
an elephant, it can crush me. But if I addressed him,
he might not because he's like, this guy's tight. I
think I could win an elephant over. I don't want
to clean up after a cat.

Speaker 1 (01:18:58):
A cat's not gonna kill me. If it's like a bobcat,
well you didn't say Bob. I could suck up a bobcat.

Speaker 3 (01:19:05):
Bobcats, I kick its ass where it was a jaguar,
that's the cat, because that could also kill you.

Speaker 1 (01:19:13):
So now both animals could kill you. What do you watch?

Speaker 3 (01:19:15):
But like you just gotta see what the cat dragged in? Yeah,
what if you dragged in a baby cat that also
wanted to fight you?

Speaker 1 (01:19:22):
That would be bad. I got your brain of pretzel. Now, no, no, no, no,
you you you've stuck me. I would still go with
the cat because I think it would be a lot smaller. Sure,
it could be messy, yeah, but you know, elephants not
gonna kill me or I'm not gonna go Yeah, but

(01:19:44):
I think I could talk my way out of it.
I think I could doctor dolittle myself and save myself
a little con talk to animals. You probably haven't seen that,
but you could talk to animals, so I would.

Speaker 3 (01:19:54):
I think I could be like, what's up, dude, let's
just let's get it out in the open. You could
kill me, please don't. I'd love to be your friend.
I've got a peanut farm. We could find look one up,
opening all the peanuts and know elephants like peanuts.

Speaker 1 (01:20:09):
I think Pat would go elephant too. I feel like
just only because he dislikes cats that much. I think
so too.

Speaker 3 (01:20:16):
That's exactly what I was gonna go with as well.
That's a great question, though, great question, Robert Robert Wingo,
first time answers question, ask I believe. Next up, we've
got Mikey paul at It's just Mikey p on X
and he says, if a person that does sign language
loses a finger, do they have a speech impediment or
an accent?

Speaker 1 (01:20:39):
I think that, yeah, so you would just be like
I would say, signs would just be pediment.

Speaker 3 (01:20:46):
It'd be more of a speech impediment. Yeah, But I
think like you would still because you'd still be able
to understand him.

Speaker 1 (01:20:53):
They're just be oh, he can't with that.

Speaker 3 (01:20:55):
And then you could also use your other hand if
you had like finger spell stuff, because you could spell
out the letter that you couldn't do. But then I
also think you could probably just make it work with
like other fingers if you had designed certain stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:21:06):
So I'd say it's more of a speech impediment, yeah,
what would make it? Next, And like I'm thinking if
you have something on your finger, like maybe like.

Speaker 3 (01:21:14):
Just the way you said stuff. I guess, like like
if you said something with like an emphasis and things
like that, because I'm trying to think, I don't know,
I don't know enough.

Speaker 1 (01:21:27):
Sorry, sorry you do that. If you're watching, watch the
YouTube version YouTube thank you, thank you. Chin down to
your hand that always crushes? Yes, is knocking? No?

Speaker 3 (01:21:43):
Is closing your is your top two fingers on your
thumb really fast? That's now more? Is this pushing you
to like the tips of your fingers together. My daughter
does that one she knows more. But like you could
do more, like if I took out my middle finger,
I could still do more. And it would just be
like you get it, you get like you probably don't
even notice it on most of them where it's like
a speech pepment sometimes like you might just have a

(01:22:05):
hard time saying your rs R is that, and that's
x R is this, But yeah, you would have a
hard time like wrapping your finger around like that would
just look like an eye, so you would have to
do an R on your left hand, so you're, yeah,
I think it's speechment. It's a speech impediment, so it
doesn't always affect the way that like it's it's signed,
but sometimes it can and then other times you can

(01:22:26):
make up for it with that.

Speaker 1 (01:22:27):
It really matter.

Speaker 3 (01:22:27):
Yeah, it's a really good question. Great question, mikey p.
That's that's MVP level work right there, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:22:34):
Next that we got Aaron R.

Speaker 3 (01:22:35):
Rights in, and Aaron says, if you could have an
endless supply of one thing, not money, what.

Speaker 1 (01:22:43):
Would you pick? Ooh ooh, this is a good one.
Can I be like houses? It could be.

Speaker 3 (01:22:56):
I thought about houses like costes. I probably should have
settled hell, sell the houses and make money, yeah, and
live in them for free. But we'll just pay taxes
on all those houses.

Speaker 1 (01:23:09):
I think. If I can't do something like extravagant like that,
I feel like I could do like socks and underwear.
That would be good.

Speaker 3 (01:23:17):
See Okay, So I thought what could I flip and
turn into the most money? Yeah, and I did a
little research because I saw this question earlier in the week.
I started with gold, but that could be money, so
that's out. And then I went to oil. I get
unlimited oil, but then like the United States government probably

(01:23:38):
like abduct me, take that oil and then sell it
themselves to give it to Israel. So I don't know,
if oil is the way to go, we're gonna still
keep it on there. And then my other two I
had hearts or livers, because I was like, body parts
we could sell, but like if I had an endless supply,
like if I had endless amounts of hearts, I could
just sell sell heart.

Speaker 1 (01:23:57):
So I was like, what do hearts go for? And
what do livers go for?

Speaker 3 (01:24:01):
Because I saw that those were the two most expensive
organs according to one website that I googled, So not
one hundred percent sure that's factual, but says on the
black market, your a heart would go for one hundred
nineteen thousand and a liver would go for one hundred
and fifty seven thousand.

Speaker 1 (01:24:19):
Kidney's only only fifteen K because there's two of them.

Speaker 3 (01:24:23):
That's true, yeah, because you got to pretty much kill
somebody to get the other two, or at least a heart.
So you'd still think a heart would be the most expensive,
but it is not, since the livers could bring me
like one sixty K each each one, Like if I
had an endless supply of livers, but you don't go
on the black market, But then I could just I've
already sold one that I could just pay somebody like

(01:24:45):
close to that, but you don't have an.

Speaker 1 (01:24:47):
Endless supply of like ice or refrigerator.

Speaker 3 (01:24:50):
Buddy, if I'm selling liver for one hundred and sixty
k a piece, I can buy the ice, but you
got to you gotta sell the first one, like immediately,
Like how long I don't know how long they could
be out of ice, But I have an endless You don't, though,
because you got an endless supply. So even if it
goes bad, got more coming in. I got more coming in.
It's endless. Then you find your black market guy and

(01:25:11):
then you're like, hey, Bud, I can hook you up.
And he's like, yeah, but I'm gonna need this much percentage.
Like guess what, every third one is free. I don't care.

Speaker 1 (01:25:18):
You can just have full.

Speaker 3 (01:25:19):
You take it all every third one and I'm still
making one hundred and sixty k a pop.

Speaker 1 (01:25:23):
But at that point you don't think that, like they
like just kidnap you, Like why why negotiation is a
liver guy? Like I can just kidnap you, and and
hearts and livers are just gonna pop up wherever you.

Speaker 3 (01:25:34):
Are, because if I'm gone, I'll all poison pill myself.
I'll cyanide myself. Bro, I got I got to end it.

Speaker 1 (01:25:43):
I'll have that.

Speaker 3 (01:25:44):
Well, that'll be the first thing I buy. Yeah, I'll
buy like to just cyanide pill. Like, oh, you're gonna
you're gonn kidding me? Say about you're inless supply, dude.
Later now you have nothing. You got two hours and
then all this is bad. But having livers that would
be gross. But also I would be I would really

(01:26:05):
be the liver king. But just if you could sell
it for that much money, who cares? Yeah, Like, yeah,
have every other one, dude.

Speaker 1 (01:26:12):
Keep all that. Just keep keep giving me every every
second or third one. We're good and the tight. I
think I'm gonna stick with houses houses. I'm gonna go
with houses.

Speaker 3 (01:26:22):
Yeah, I'm gonna go with livers livers over oil. Just
I'm worried about getting kidnapped for the oil. The oil
is more dangerous to have than the livers, I think.

Speaker 1 (01:26:33):
I think so.

Speaker 3 (01:26:34):
All right, great question though, that was a good question, Aaron.
Last question of the week.

Speaker 4 (01:26:39):
It's from our girl Ta Chaloupa hadn't heard from her
in a minute, but Tia Shaloupa says, what color is
the name matt All right, close your eyes kind of
three whatever comes in your head first, one, two, three,
great yellow?

Speaker 1 (01:26:55):
Ooh yellow? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:26:56):
Hold on, let me see what matter you think? You
have a matt in your head that you thinking of. Uh,
I change Matts now.

Speaker 1 (01:27:03):
I changed Mats too when he said that, I went
Perry Matthew Perry. Oh yellow?

Speaker 3 (01:27:10):
Yeah, okay, yo, dude, dude, I can see yellow. I
can see yellow for Matthew Perry. You know what I
can see like the sunshine over about Yeah, I could
see that. I almost went in green too, but I
saw the cable color. I'm like, I know that's where
I'm getting green from. So I gotta change my mind.
I was thinking of Matthew McConaughey. He's more orange to

(01:27:33):
me though, really, hold on, yeah, isn't he isn't big
like U T fan?

Speaker 1 (01:27:38):
Yeah, but I like U TV. That would be like
the the easy Guess what's another Mathe?

Speaker 3 (01:27:43):
You give me another Matthew? Uh, famous Matthews. We're gonna
feel really stupid.

Speaker 1 (01:27:52):
Yeah. I think we're just because we put ourselves on
the spot. We just don't know what it is.

Speaker 3 (01:27:58):
Fictional characters, all right, Dave Matthews. I think of Dave
matt math I was gonna say green, but maybe I'm
color blinds, so maybe I was.

Speaker 1 (01:28:10):
What else we got matt Matthew Damon, Oh my Damon black?
I thought black too, black, Okay, Matthew Damon, I thought black.

Speaker 3 (01:28:20):
That color of Matthew's name is black. The font is black. Yeah,
so we agreed on that. Okay, we gotta find one more.
Matt lower.

Speaker 1 (01:28:30):
Red. I thought, okay, I thought, all right, that's it.
That's it. We need to do that.

Speaker 3 (01:28:35):
That's our that'll be our game where it's like, give
us a name and until we can find two in
a row that we all agree on, we can't stop
or we run out.

Speaker 1 (01:28:44):
It was red flag right yeah, because he's a bad guy,
did all that stuff? All right? Well, that was it.
That was it. That's a good way.

Speaker 3 (01:28:58):
That was a perfect question to end on where it's
just like, all right, let's try and figure out the
color of a name.

Speaker 1 (01:29:04):
