Is that what you're thing is gonna be? Now you're
the national guide.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
I would like you to be. I'm gonna forget next week.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Okay, that's what we'll see. How many we try and
remember Robert? How many weeks we should just get a
marker or do the tally? Is behind you on the wall?
Start writing on the walls in here.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
I always thought like it'd be really funny if you
just treated glass like it's dry erase. Wait, no, what
was Wipe it off when it's like, that's not a
dry erase. But stop writing on it.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
But if you're a genius, you get to use glass night.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
No, it's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Movies.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yeah, it's a beautiful mind. He was, He had a
beautiful mind in honor of But just say National Manate
Day Appreciation Matcy Appreciation Day. I have decided to quit
poaching for the day. You usually poach manates or just eggs.
Uh yeah, just eggs. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Oh, no, Benedict for Robert.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Today, No manate eggs, Benedict for Bobby. Shout out all
the manatees. Listen, I know we're like one of the
top manite podcasts out there. So should I tell you
guys love me a good sea cow man, all the
mantis and the womanates as well. Let's not forget them
equality All right.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
Let's start off with the pre Come seven I had.
I feel like this is a jam packed pre comes
to me.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I got some some Robert Feline, some baseball themed Robert feelines.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
Baseball's right around the corner. We're gonna do a mock
draft of cool baseball names. We're gonna tell you guys
what's not cool this week.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
But let me get started by a question that I
thought of earlier this week at a light, do you
guys think that the llow light was always around or
do you think that they originally started with just red
and green and it was just chaos.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
It was definitely red and green.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
And they were like, hey, people don't just stop immediately
when when it goes red, Like we need to put
a buffer. And that's when they were like, let's just
throw a yellow one in between.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Well, also, back then they weren't going nearly as fast.
I think when the probably came up, people were probably
driving like thirty. Yeah, I ran, I think I've ran
three red lights in the last two days. But like
im by what it depends on what I mean. Like,
I was like getting there as it was turning red,
and I was like, well, I'm not going to sit
out all orange light. It wasn't like red. And then

(03:37):
I accelerated for thirty feet and so I went through there.
I was like, it's gonna turn red as I'm in
the intersection, I'm going. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
I drive to work very early in the morning, and
sometimes red lights or stop signs, if it's just me,
I look around, make sure there's.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
No cop and just go and just roll through it.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
And then it's like, hey, look, dude, I respect the laws,
but there's no one else here, so why should I
wait by myself?

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Exactly? Respect laws, but Daddy's got places.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Like I'm not going to just chill unless I'm not
running late. So sometimes if I have a lot of
extra time, I'll be like.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Wait at this light.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Yeah, yes, I was running at I will listen to
this music a little bit longer. But they definitely had
like it was red green probably in the beginning, and
it was just chaos.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
I'm pretty sure I've seen just red green ones before
in my life. Too, like in probably more rural areas. Yeah,
it's like it's rhetoric's green.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Can you imagine that, like just being like up stop,
it's like middle of the intersection.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
You're like, oh, fuck, I mean back then, but like
I said, they were going slow as shit, Yep, you
could just go stop, okay, weren't blowing down the road
going fucking sixty five like we are now.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
And then, speaking of me in the car, I had
a question that I guess neither one of you guys
your parents, but doesn't mean you can't answer this either.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Am I in the wrong for not giving up control
of what is playing in my car to my one
year old just because my wife and her grandparents do
that and my kids' grandparents. Dad needs to be strict
because I was under.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
The impression that you, who is driving, is in control
of the ox at all times.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Was that not the rule? Of course? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:17):
I mean I had to listen to so much sports
talk with my dad growing up that I didn't want
to listen.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
To on that exact point. Is it not that that's
like a rite of passages. You have to listen to
your dad listening to sports talk, and you're like, why
are we listening to this?

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Dad? I want to listen to something else, and you
have to listen to that. From time to.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Time you let them listen to some music, but when
you want to listen to what you want to listen to.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
And then you get older and you're like, I want
to listen to the sports station now, Like now I
want to do that.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
You're cool. I get what my dad liked this. I
just didn't understand it as a kid. But like I
think that, Like my wife will be like, no, put
put her music on. I'm not gonna do that. I'm
listening to this thing. This is my time in my car.
She gets to control the TV. I'm on an iPad
now when we're in the living room.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
This is my car. I get to control this. And
we get in the car every day and it's up down,
up down, which is a pirate taking you to see
and you're going this way, that way forward, backwards, up
and down, up and down, up and down, deep across
the deep blue sea. We like, we play that song
a million times, and that would be what the car
ride would be. The entire time we're going anyway, we're
playing that same card. And then we're playing hot Bow
Bunny or a couple other songs that we've got in

(06:17):
the rotation. Right now, you get about four songs in rotation.
It's just those songs over and over again. I'm not
doing that in the car now right now.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
Also, she's one, she's not gonna remember this and she's.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Not gonna remember it. That is a good point. But like,
I'm not in the wrong to not give up the
OX to the one year old.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
No, dad's rules in the car.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
I give up the I give up the OX to
the TV.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
You have the TV when we're at home, we're watching
Paw Patrol, We're watching Papa Pig, We're watching all your
shit that you want to watch.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
I have no problem with that.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
You gotta look your wife in the eyes, like, listen, tuts.
You want to give her control the radio.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
You drive, But yeah, where does it end. I can't
do this.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
At one when daddy's driving, we're listening to what Daddy wants.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
To And she was crying on the way home somewhere
and my wife was like, just just put it. I
was like, no, Because I put it on house, She's
gonna expect it all the time. This is if you
give him house a cookie situation, which is another book
I don't know if you guys know about. But you
give him mouse cookie, he's gonna want a glass of
milk and then it starts with glass of milkings and
want another thing, and it's just it's one thing after another.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Just do that. Give her a cookie.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
I've yeah, I mean, I've tried that before. I don't
always have cookies in the car, but I might stuck up.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Just fill your center Like, what do you have in
your center console? Do you have a center consol?

Speaker 1 (07:22):
I do have a center console.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Just fill with cookies.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
I have an OOX cord in the center console.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
Cookies that's all you needed there.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
That's fine. I could do that.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
What else do you have in the random napkins that
staying there for eight months at a.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Time like that, something like that. But I'm not in
the wrong on this one. I gotta stand my ground.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
I have to.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
I have to put my foot down on this. You
can have everything else in the house, all right, I
get it. Daddy's gotta watch college basketball on the iPad.
We're fine with that. I have I don't complain anymore.
I mean, I'm chill. I want to watch the red
Wings lose, I'll watch it on the iPad. That's fine.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
I've got two iPads for just such a reason like that.
Where the TV's gone, that's not my TV in any room.
If I'm watching something and she comes home, we're watching
whatever she wants to watch.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
That's fine. I understand that the car is mine and
that is mine.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Until I decide to give that up, which I don't
plan on doing anytime soon.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
But you're allowed to do whatever you want. If you
want to give your kid to control of the OX,
I don't have to.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
Yeah, you let them have it every once in a while,
they get to have their music. But when you're in.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Charge, you give them one song and she's gonna be like, oh,
I just got him to do it. Now he's gonna
have to do it every time. I sang Old McDonald
one time when I put her to bed. Now every
night we get to do Old McDonald. She gives me
all the animals. We gotta go through some of them.
We did cats seven times last night.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
You gotta be the tough one now, because when it
comes to teenager years, mom's got to.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Be the tough one, and then you get fun, and
then that can be fun okay, because.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Like, You're definitely gonna be fun to and Emma's gonna
be the disciplinarian, Like we know that's.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Just what really tough times, She's the one that's gotta
be mean.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
You got us at some times you have to be
the mean one so you can give them a break.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Remember when she was one and I won't let her
listen to stuff in the car? Huh think about that,
But so that's how you used to break it down that.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
I'm listen right now, I'm giving you a break from
being the tough parrot because that that's gonna be the roles.
You're definitely gonna be fun dad.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
I'm trying to be, you will be. I'm trying to
be and I'm fundad except for in the car when
she's mad at me that I won't play. Not my wife,
but my kid sometimes is up down, up down, up down,
up down, Dad, up down. I'm like, we're gonna play
up and down when we get home. Okay, I know
we're gonna do that for the next two hours, but Daddy,
listen to break.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Out the dad voice. Sometimes you gotta do it.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Hey, No, I try not to do that very often.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
No, not very young. But you gotta you gotta do
it every once in a while so you stay in
practice for when you need to use it.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
It's an important tool. But I gotta put my foot
down because if you if you don't stand for something,
you'll fall for anything.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
And this is where I'm putting my foot down. I
love my kid more than anything. That's my choice of
what we're listening to in the car.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Just don't put your foot down too hard because then
you'll start speeding and true dangerous with the pearls in
the car.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Baby on board, Baby on board? All right, another thing
I had. Then I got a lot of stuff for us.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
Oh yeah, water gun technology really peaked in the early
two thousands, Pat, don't you think so?

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:11):
I mean also maybe not.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
I mean I haven't watched Nickelodeon in a while, so
I haven't seen any squirt guns.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
See that's again, I don't control what's on TV at
my house anymore. So there's a lot of Nickelodeon on
with paw Patrols on, or Rubble and Cruise on or
Bubble Guppies is on or whatever it is, and they
run the kids commercials.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
I haven't seen one water water gun commercial.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
They have a lot of like hot wheels, Like there's
a cool snake you can jump into.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
No, that kind of looks tight.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
Kids don't go outside anymore.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
They don't go outside, I guess.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Also, I remember thinking when squirt guns started being battery powered,
like when you could just hold it down and like
machine gun fire. No, you needed to pump it up.
You had to put a little work into your warfare.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Yeah, like the one that you just had the tube
in the in the pool. I remember I went to
a friend's birthday party and he got that as a gift.
And then it was like, let's all play water guns.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
That's cool.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
We have to get in the pool to fill a
water gun. You're just in the pool. That's not fair.
You're smoking us. Happy birthday. I can't be mean, but like, god,
damn it, you're ruinning this.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
Nothing will ever top the big green gun with a
yellow tank on top. Oh yeah, that was the perfect
other super soaker, like the original super soaker.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
And then they got crazy with it, Robert. They had
it where there was three spouts, so you'd be like.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Oh, now you're getting three blasts. But then you can
hit the button and it went left, right and straight
and you're, oh, what I got?

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Everybody?

Speaker 1 (11:28):
It was awesome, and I felt like every week there
was a new water gun that was like, hey, shuck
out this. It's got a backup tank on it that
you can fill up and then you don't run out
of water and you're like, I need that, mom, I
want this now. This one's got a strap so.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
You can put it around your shoulder when you're running,
and you can have a backup water gun.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
That seems tight too.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
That was a little too far.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
Here's a strap you can put on your ankle so
you can have a baby water gun too.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
If they take your first one, now you've got another one.
It was like each like each year, I feel like
there was just a cool ass water that would come out.
Now they don't have that. It doesn't seem like I was.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
More like Ill Douce from the Boondog Saints. I would
just load up like six pistols at a time. Oh yeah,
a little individual Julie with one of those run back over,
grabbed the other one. I had weapons on deck.

Speaker 5 (12:16):
I just I feel like that, like who would have thought,
like with the technology we have now, it's weird that
like water guns have gone downhill.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Yeah, sometimes you just gotta go back to the basics. Man,
run the damn ball, right.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
But I guess now, like we didn't have cell phones.
Now kids are like, that's why they don't go outside
six years old with cell phones. It's the guy, you
rude my iPhone, and now your mom's going over to
her house. We were whoever's house, be like, what the fuck, dude,
that's a seven hundred dollars iPhone I gave my kid. Well,
I didn't know. Man, Maybe that's what you do.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
You just take the phone away from him and shoot
him in the face with a squirt gun. Go go
run outside.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
I think I just I think I just answered my
man question. I guess it's iPhone. It's just phones. I
remember we would do football parties before games, like like
not party parties that we'd have like team dinners at
somebody's house. If somebody had to pull somebody always got
thrown in, and one person got thrown in with their
phone and that was the end of that. And then
it was always like.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
Grab their phone out of their pocket, grab the phone
out of their pocket. Everybody everybody got the phone right,
throw them in and that was like the first thing
you did.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
And I think that even though the brick phones though,
like if you got out quick enough, you could get
out without it getting too wet and.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
You just throw it you no, no, no, fine, it's fine.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
You just like jump out of the water with your
pocket hanging out and like lift your hand in the air. Sometimes. Yeah, yeah,
I've been replacing the cell phone was like a hundred
bucks maybe if that? If that.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
All right? What else I got? Do you want? Let's
do sick Threads and then I'll I'll let you guys
go and then we'll do Robert Feeling. Sick Threads was
the new segment. I said, I'm gonna do sporadically. I've
been hopping on the threads like once or twice a week,
which I don't want to do it too much, but
it's fun to just see the other side how the
other side thinks.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
And I don't really align with the either side, but
like you're either far to the left, they're far the right.
I feel like Twitter's more far right, even though it's
more fun and you can just say stuff. Threads hates
everything of social media and also just they posted just
some ridiculous stuff, so I found I'm gonna find some
interesting threads and I will share it with the group

(14:15):
the let me.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
I sent myself the email. Here we go, all right.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
First thread I found is this is from Cheese Grits
c h z g R I t s on threads
and cheese grit says, anybody know any faith based pole
dancing classes in Houston?

Speaker 1 (14:37):
I want to when you want to keep God.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
On the pole as well, doesn't have to be God true,
be fucking Vishnu on the pole.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Could be anybody. It could be anybody. This is from
the Dutch soccer team azy Alkmar and they were wishing
a happy birthday to their uh their forward it says
happy birthday Jizz. No happy birthday Jizz. Come on, that's

(15:09):
what they they posted that. I mean, that is his name.
So I had to I had to doiz horn Camp
with a with a k as the camp part Horn
Camp born in nineteen ninety eight. Trust the Dutch. They
was saying happy birthday Jizz. That stuck out. And then
the other one I had was this was from Samantha.

(15:34):
When did official went went w E and DT went
Samantha went official. She says, reeses, please be more kind
and compassionate on your ads. They give high anxiety to
somebody with a severe peanut allergy, do better.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Please, If that's not a troll, somebody just needs to
they tagged reeces. I don't, but I'm saying, if that's
a serious post and then the troll post, yeah, somebody
just needs to kick the shit out of that person.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
So those are that's sick threads. That's sick threads. Is
just I find some stuff on that and I just
wanted to share with you guys. What do you guys
have for pre cam segment?

Speaker 4 (16:15):
I had something and then Jiz threw my head off.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
Jiz horn Camp. Shout out to Jiz Horne Camp.

Speaker 4 (16:20):
Robert, you go, and I'll remember it. I fucking had it.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Jiz really fucked with me, real guy.

Speaker 6 (16:25):
Okay, so this is gonna be a little local to start,
but basically, you guys are familiar with ninety nine, the
toll road. Yeah, that connects I tend to town. In
the planning of it, there was a subdivision that I
guess there was no planning because the only way for
them to exit their neighborhood was to get on ninety nine.

(16:48):
So every time they had to exit every time they
come back. They were taking the toll road, having to
pay to get out of their neighborhood. I think they'd
be doing that for years. In one week, you could
easily spend like forty dollars.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Do you want to go home? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (17:07):
Yeah, no, because it's I think the most expensive toll
road in Houston. It's fucking ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
We're just gonna do that till it pays itself off.
It's gonna be free, fairy body, ha hahaha, sick joke.
Oh wait, that's been like twenty years here.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
H Yeah, No, it's horrible. It's like ten bucks to
get from Katie to Tombull.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Yeah, and anyone needs to go to work, wants to
do groceries, wants to just you know, go out for
any reason, they would have to pay to leave their
neighborhood and pay to enter it. I think it finally
got fixed this month, maybe earlier this week, where then
there's finally another exit that lets them avoid that.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
Just say, I don't know if I would have to
sue the city planner or the builder, like the builders
of the neighborhood.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
Who yeah, I had to know that going in, like
before you bought it. Yeah, No, apparently that wasn't explained
to them to anyone.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
Like, I mean when you visit the house, Yeah, if
you go, like look at it when you do a
walk through.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
I don't know, but.

Speaker 6 (18:12):
Do you think you wouldn't seek like I want to
get refunded, Like, what would you try to do? Would
you try to get that money back?

Speaker 1 (18:18):
I would be mad. I don't know how you would
go about it, but yes, that would be very mad.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
No, I would just bitch and complain. I wouldn't do it.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
I'd be loud about it. Yeah, And then they like,
you should go to city Hall, but I'm not gonna
do that.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
Go to the HOA and be like the fuck is this? Oh?

Speaker 1 (18:30):
Yell at the HOA.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
Can we have the first instance of an HOA actually
helping people? And let's figure this out.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
That doesn't exist, that's never happened, that's true, that's gonna happen.
People have take themselves too seriously. Probably should have. Yeah,
that fucking sucks.

Speaker 5 (18:47):
I bet if you did go through the walk through,
you're probably like, there's probably another way out.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
It's not that way. I'm new here, and you probably
justified it that way. And then oh, never mind, it
is a dollar twenty five to turn out of my
inn my neighborhood. That would suck.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
It would suck a lot.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Te's and p's if you live in that neighborhood.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
Or I guess no, it's good now, it's good now.
But I'm surprise they didn't build their own like bridge. Yeah,
just goes over the toll road.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
I would find every guy with the biggest truck in
the neighborhood and be like, all right, you guys, just
start driving over grass.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
All right, boys, we're gonna get together.

Speaker 5 (19:21):
Yeah, we're gonna we're gonna fix this, or knock out
the tall cameras at least beforehand. I already knocked the
tall cameras out all time, or had somebody else do.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
If there's any British people in the neighborhood, have them
do it. They're good at that, they are. They've been
knocking cameras down for the last couple of years.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Although they do like collecting fees for stuff that they
didn't really do either.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
Well, that's why they were all knocking down the cameras.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Now well they knock them down.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
Oh yeah, Prince, they're starting to get a rebellious spirit again.
I don't know if that's good or bad, but it's entertaining.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Or like really over in England they are a little bit.
I didn't I don't really follow what's going on in England.
I just last him not winning.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
I remember what mine was. So I've got one am I.
I wouldn't necessarily call it a skill, but I I
have sort of a knack sometimes for coming up with
weird dishes at work. What I can't do is name
them I've got I'm very bad at that. Like I'll
make like a fried fish sandwich. You know what it's
called on the menu, fucking fried fish sandwich. Like it's
not my forte coming up. So and we do like sandwiches.

(20:24):
On Monday night it was burger night. Now we're starting
to do some sandwich and stuff too. And I came
up with one yesterday and I can't figure out a
name for it, so I might have to crowdsource it
to the misting. So it's just I take the burger
patty and chop it up. So it's been it's just
ground beef. I tossed that in our Doctor Pepper barbecue
sauce goes on a holy roll with lettuce chopped on.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Eve and pickle.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
The only thing I can think to name it is
like a chopped barbecue sandwich. But if you put that
on there and I serve someone ground beef, they're gonna
be piss off because they're gonna be expecting a fucking
chopped barbecue sandwich. I have no idea what to name
this fucking thing, and it's been driving me nuts for
two days.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
A doctor pepper beef sandwich.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
But see, even if you'd say beef and you I
guess if I don't.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Put barbecue in it, just don't put barbecue in it.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
And also you don't want to call it like a
doctor Pepper ground beef sandwich, doctor off the ground if I.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Write doctor pepper beef sandwich.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
I was also thinking of putting it on a burger
by the ground, making it a sloppy Joe. But yeah,
I don't know if anyone's going to buy an eighteen
dollars sloppy Joe.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Oh somebody will.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
That's why I put it on the HOGI roll, though
I've eaten it two days in a row. Also, I'm
extremely full and uncomfortable right now. It was very filling
to a point that I was not expecting.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Today, I would just call it doctor pepper beef. You
get a sandwich.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
Well, there you go. You just saved me a lot
of thinking over the next way.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Thank you, buddy, because I would like try that if
you saw it like doctor pepper beef.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
Let me show you.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
And when you explain it to me.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
That does sound dope because you're like, oh, it's it's
like barbecue, but it's not barbecue, but it's like Barbie.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
With the chop pickles and everything on top so that
it looks delicious. Yeah that Robert at all or not really?

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Yeah, I'm gonna need you to bring one of those
in for me next week.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
Remind me.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
I'll do it. Dude.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
It's fantastic, all right.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Shout out to John.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
This is the up. Hell yeah, shout John, this is
thank you. Thank you for doing my job for.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Me chatting him out. Yeah. You always talk about I
always don't know.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
I mean, like naming this form. Oh yeah, I'm really
bad at it. Whenever you think, I think that would
be the thing i'd be good at.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
I love naming things.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
I was also really excited because normally when I just
throw stuff together for a sandwich or something. I'm like,
it was okay, nothing great, this one spectacular. I was
so proud of myself. It's so delicious. It's just but
also it's like, not really I created it. It's none
of like a igen it make.

Speaker 5 (22:26):
The barbecue chop cheese sandwich, but just with barbecue and yeah,
no cheese, no cheese on it.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
I don't know what cheese I would use, Like, I'm
not got Parmesan doesn't really go with that model.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
With a little Mexican cheese would have Yeah, Mexican blend
the genetic. Can you get get some waka you get
some grey airt I go.

Speaker 4 (22:48):
To buy special cheese for We're going to sell two
of them cheese.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Yeah, no, I like it. Doctor Pepper beef baby.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
Maybe that's all I do. Every week, I'll come in
and make you name something for me.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
Just text to me. I could name stuff every day.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
I love that good because I have a lot of
generic Aspergers.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Did you know that Anya on the morning show Rod
just or yesterday?

Speaker 5 (23:09):
Yeah, he was talking about Anya living in a castle
with her cats and I was like, you mean a
cattele And he was like yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
See see I can that stuff just rolls off tongue
to me.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
See, I try and do that with pun names, but
then they're like so stupid. I'm like, I can't put
this on the menu.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Oh, but you can just treat it like if it
seems exotic. People will try.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
See I try to do that, and then when I
bring up the names, everyone else that works shoots them down.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
We'll tell them that they don't understand. And sometimes he
didn't understand greatness before greatness was great.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
Honestly, I'm the only manager there by the time I
print off the menus on Mondays.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
Anyway, So yeah, just make it like shut up.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
And the owner is in Belize right now on vacation,
so he can't stop me.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Yeah later on Monday, but doctor pepper beef should go
on the menu for sure. Just don't go barbecue in there.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Yeah. See that's what was sucking me up, is I
couldn't think that. Yeah, all right, there we.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Go, perfect sandwich names. Baby, we should open our own
deli and really it's just your restaurant, but we sell
it more money.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
Just steal stuff out the back. Yeah, pretty much. It's
like dale stuff from your Just kidding people that definitely
aren't listening for my restaurant. Ah joke. I don't feel
everything I take. I tell you about it.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Everything everything. I took gloves, fine silverware that you brought
me today, I.

Speaker 4 (24:24):
Took a set of gloves. Now I don't have to
wash my hands fifty times when I'm cooking. It's fantastic.

Speaker 5 (24:29):
I love the idea of you put it on gloves
in your house, just oh yeah at home?

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Oh yeah, what am I gonna rub down this whole
porkloin and then wash my hands nine times?

Speaker 1 (24:38):
It's just funny to think about it. All right, let's
since baseball season's about to start this week, let's do
some We hadn't done Robert Feelins in a minute, and
I feel like now we've done a lot Robert Felins.
And instead of it's doing the generic ones, let's do
some themed Robert Feelin's. We did the Christmas ones, we
did the Halloween ones. If you're new to the pod,

(24:58):
Robert Feline is the proper name for Bobcat. And this
is just a code where I'm pretty much saying this
word means this word, and you will put together the
name of what the actual thing is.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
Usually we do categories. These will all be baseball players today.
So are Robert feelins of baseball players or.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Baseball Robert feelings.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
Excuse me, let's start off with for our baseball Robert feelines.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
Draw corn, draw corn.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Maybe something maze, Probably not maze.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
I was thinking, like, yeah, like Billy May's Willy Mays.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
Oh oh, there we go. So yeah, I was thinking
the wrong maze.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
What going the wrong way?

Speaker 4 (25:49):
Ship?

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Draw corn?

Speaker 4 (25:53):
All right? Draw could be like pencil drawing. It could
be like draw you're shooting a gun at them, Probably
not the gun.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
One corn could also be on a cop Ti cop
ti cop a draw is a tie?

Speaker 4 (26:08):
Oh there was the third draw? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I
think two different kinds of draws. And I didn't hit it,
damn it?

Speaker 5 (26:15):
All right, this one is okay. They're all baseball payers.
Don't have to tell you what the gugary is.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Slow candy, slow candy. It's just enthralling podcasting slow candy.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
The fu could candy be.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Robert sweet sugar?

Speaker 4 (26:42):
What could slow be?

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Slow played for the pirates?

Speaker 4 (26:51):
See now I'm just thinking Berry Bonds.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Pokey Reese, Pooky Reese, slow poke, slow candy. It was
a good one. Poke Ye Pokey's just slow Dick Mountain,
rich Hill. Yes, that's one of my favorite ones. Boner, Boner,

(27:20):
I'm trying to think nobody's name. Cock Um. This is
gonna piss me off because I know I should know it. Ye, Boner,
it's a very well known guy.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
Can give me a team.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Played on several I will shave you. No, I'm trying
to He did play with the Astros for a period
of time, Boner. He was not most known for his
time with the Astros.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
J R.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Richard, Randy Johnson. Damn it, Randy Johnson. I'll say Richard
means Dick. U. All right, here's another one.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
He was well well known for his time with that.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
He was better known for his time with the Diamondbacks.
That would be where you would most put im JR.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
Richard.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
I think Mariner's Diamondbacks would be. Yeah, you put Randy Johnson.
Who would you put him at?

Speaker 4 (28:16):
I still think Mariners. When I think Randy Johnson.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
I feel like Diamondbacks. Is he won with the Diamondbacks?

Speaker 4 (28:21):
Yeah, But I think I'm probably thinking back to like
Little big League. Remember I saw that a lot. It
was a Little big League or was it the other
one where Griffy and Randy Johnson where it is.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
I know you're talking about I do not remember. But
with the Twins, I think, yeah, he was with the Twins,
but uh, I just hated him when he beat the
Yankees in the World Series, So I guess I always
associate him with the Diamondbacks.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
I think he exploded the bird when he was on
the Diamondbacks.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
He was he was small fruit connections, small fruit connections. Hmm.

Speaker 4 (28:59):
The three were just sucking me up.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Small fruit, small fruit connections, small fruit, comma connections. Okay,
uh small fruit uh pee, No, he's not a fruit strawberry.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
Darryl Stroup now should have done put some grapes, grapes, blueberries.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
You could simplify it lime, small fruit connections, berry bonds,
berry Okay, damn yeah, I'm good practice. Yeah, they're difficult ones.
I feel like, is he maybe's? Is he maybe's.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
Center? Former player? Former Okay, that should probably be our
first question on each.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
Yeah, you've actually said his name already, guessing before.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
JR.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
Richard you get you a JR.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
Richard one?

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Is he maybe's? This is a pretty dumb one.

Speaker 4 (30:13):
And we already did Barry Bonds, which I had already said.
I got nothing, Willie Mays is he maybe's that's that's
a really good one one though.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
That was pretty proud of that man bag paper Jesus
man bag paper. Okay, paper sheet, No, no, you're close.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
Sort of not Jamie Sheets. He was a picture A.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Nailed it talking about.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
Pulling a name from a uh Man bag paper or Robert.
You've got any guesses over here?

Speaker 1 (31:02):
No, very old player like man guy. I'm thinking guy
man bag, man bag paper.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
I can't think at all what the hell man bag
would be. Satchel Page. I didn't say his name already,
Satchel Page. That was the last one, really made, was
the last one. I'm confusing all these together now. My
brain is in a pretzel.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
All right, this is an astro. I'll help you guys,
current reformer, don't worry about it.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
Evangelical hiker, evangelical Robert. This would be your wheelhouse man,
current astros. I have a depth of names to pull from.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
You've got specifics.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Christian Walker, Yep, there we go, Bobby, there we go.
Loud breath, minor.

Speaker 4 (32:04):
Loud breath. Sigh.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
What was the second part? Young teamwork boys, throw dial
dead bolt, throw dial, throw dial, dead bolt. So throw
dial dead bolt, dial turn lock. There you're warm. So

(32:30):
it's some lock. Gary whitlock. Nope, garrettock throw dial dead bolt. No,
not the guy that, although I should have found a
way throw dial, he did play for the Red Sox
at one point I already forgot what I had Houston ties,

(32:55):
I believe say it again, throw dial dead bolt.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Dial dead bolt.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
So some lock?

Speaker 4 (33:06):
What could throw?

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Be?

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Pitch? Now?

Speaker 4 (33:10):
Whose name is pitch?

Speaker 1 (33:13):
That would be a sickness A pitcher need naim pitch.
Pitch turner coming up? Ah, dude, I'm drafting pitch turner
on my fantasy team.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
That sick I don't know.

Speaker 5 (33:25):
I don't write that down. Next cool like pitching prospect,
we just start calling him pitch Chuck now block ah
bro diald.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Have no idea who that is? Dead ball? I don't
know chuck no block.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
A lot of these players have one of the coolest
batting stances ever. It was ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (33:42):
Its wild Wild All Star Baseball ninety eight. Larry Walker
on the covery was wild watching that guy. Him and
Jeff Bagwell had the craziest, the craziest batting stances on
that game.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
All the way, released, all all the Way released, Current
Player all the Way Former Brave.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
I should have kind of good night's sleep last night
or the night.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Before Former Brave A current player all.

Speaker 4 (34:19):
The Way released.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
He's an ace.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
Sort of Damn. I was gonna say. All I could
think was Chris Sale, but it's no Former all the
Way released. Who was a good picture for the Braves.
That's not there anymore?

Speaker 1 (34:36):
Excuse me, Max Freed. Damn, that's good All the Way released?
All right, I don't pay attention to stupid ass Yankees.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
One more, I'll wrap it up. The other one I had,
I was gonna do Ben Rice. It's container Asian grain.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
I don't know if that makes any sense, but I
threw that one together last minute. I don't know why
Ben will be a container. He's a Ben b I n.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
Fucking idiot.

Speaker 5 (35:01):
Last one is one teas bang Girl. One teas bang Girl.
One teas bang Girl.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
Teas like as in teasing somebody, or teas as in
like teas that you hit a golf ball. One yes,
like teasing somebody. Okay, bang girl. Immediately my mind went
to a certain bus. So then just porn Star, and
I was like, well, nobody's last name is porn star

(35:35):
in the league.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
That should be your next creative player on the show.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
I don't know, tell me what is it?

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Josh Naylor one teas bang girl.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
Oh that's so good.

Speaker 5 (35:56):
And those are your baseball Robert felines to kick off
base ball season, all right, I don't know. I should
have stopped halfway through that, but I came up with
all of them today, so I was I had to.
I had to fire them off, just spaced him out

Speaker 1 (38:06):
It's the comeback Kid, Comeback Kid of the Week, the
comeback Kid of the Week, bitch. Our first comeback kid
this week is Chuck Norris. This was like right after
we finished recording. I feel like it was like right
after the episode went up last week that Chuck Norris died.

(38:27):
So we missed it. And it sucks because we were
a weekly show. So then it's like, well that feels
like it's really old news now that we're covering it now.
But he died, and I don't know how you beat him, right,
can't everybody knowledge of Chuck Norris. You can't beat him.
You literally can't.

Speaker 5 (38:45):
James Vanderbeek, Katherine Ryara, Bob Weird, Chuck Norris, Like, right now,
I think we got a leader.

Speaker 4 (38:52):
I mean, and jet Lee or not Jetly Bruce Lee
is already dead. He was the only man that could
beat him.

Speaker 5 (38:57):
Maybe you don't want to die this year if you're
a celab listening to to the pod, like just this this,
don't don't let this be the air.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
Chuck's already gone. He's kind of got DIBs on it.
But yeah, that sucks.

Speaker 4 (39:10):
It was nice here on the old Chuck Norris jokes again.

Speaker 5 (39:12):
Yeah, they kind of came back. Robert, you were a
little young for the Chuck Norris jokes probably, huh, No.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
I heard them. You don't do push ups? He pushed
the world down.

Speaker 4 (39:20):
Yeah, as one as as a Chuck actually died in
nineteen eighty four and death Jess finally got the curage.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Oh yeah, and there's the pictures of him just chasing
the grim raper.

Speaker 4 (39:29):
Chuck Norris didn't die. He's just coming for death now.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
Yep. Yeah, ri ip in peace to real on. Chuck
Norris fucking rocked.

Speaker 4 (39:36):
Walker told me.

Speaker 5 (39:36):
I was about to say that that's the best best
part of it.

Speaker 4 (39:41):
I where's it streaming? It's gotta be streaming somewhere. If
it wasn't before, it's got to be now. I'm sure
those numbers have jacked way up because I got to
rewatch Walker Texas Rangeler. I remember it being awesome as
a kid, dude, but it had to be. It was
so good. It was Chuck Norris as a guy in
a cowboy hat and he some sort of cop going
around kicking the ship, literally kicking bad guys. I don't

(40:06):
remember if he was a gun.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
It's pretty corny.

Speaker 4 (40:09):
There had to be guns in that show. They were
Texas cops and they were like, you know what, what's
it better than this? Me and a black dude are
gonna beat you with karate. Good news for you. It's
on Pluto TV.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
Fuck. I don't think Pluto TV costing. Oh the Roku
channel as well.

Speaker 4 (40:23):
So yeah, Amazon, get on it. I don't want to
watch it.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
Well, you could get on Sling TV.

Speaker 4 (40:30):
Yeah, don't have that.

Speaker 5 (40:31):
And you could rent it all the whole You could
just buy the whole series for two ninety nine on Apple.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
Or Amazon for two dollars.

Speaker 4 (40:39):
I can get the whole series on Amazon.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
You need nine seasons of it to watch it for
a secon. Yeah, I'm I'm bad at stuff at them. Well,
I have one hundred and fifty episodes of this now.
It was one of the worst rates, so you can
just watch Walker Texas Ranger.

Speaker 4 (40:53):
Lord of the Rings. Gollum was one of the worst
rated video games I've ever seen. I saw it on
sale for three dollars one time, and I bought it.
I never even thought about loading it up.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
You're just gollming it.

Speaker 4 (41:03):
Yeah, you're just like not letting people the graphics suck.
I've never even downloaded it to the Xbox I just
because it was three dollars. You better believe I'm gonna
go home and walk by all of Walker Texas Ranger
for two dollars.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
And that's why I have like eighty five apps that
I pay four ninety nine a month for. I'm like, well,
I'm gonna use this. It's two dollars. Yeah, and it
was less than five dollars. And it's like, well, that's
every month and that adds up. I don't remember that.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
Place thirty times that on. There won't be a run
in the first inning over the next three days. Yeah, OK,
point fucking two dollars. What if one day you just
want to what if you want to see him? You
want to see the whole episode of How Get To
All nine seas, all nine seasons of it.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
Also back this week is flag football.

Speaker 5 (41:50):
We got fucking smoked the NFL and former NFL athletes
got smoked by the flag football team, the USA flag
football team.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
We would talk a lot of shit when Yeah, we
all laughed at them when the quarterback was like, I
think it's different playing flag football. It's very different playing
flag football. You can pass the he passed the ball
multiple times. What I think if you let the NFL
guys figure out the game for a second, they might
be able to dominate.

Speaker 5 (42:16):
But I think Darrel du Set is the quarterback. He's
five foot six, he's electric. I didn't watch this live,
but I watched all like like the highlights of it
and everything, and this dude just with flags, you're not
getting lit up. So he would just like dip his
hips down and like duck, like one light duck spin

(42:37):
and just like oh fuck, They're like, oh he can
go down.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
I didn't know that, like that one hot to the ground.
But he just he like squats down real fast and
then spends the hops back up and you missed the
flag and then he's gone.

Speaker 4 (42:47):
You like sink your hips and then push him forward
and then like move your hip to the side. Yeah,
that one highlight is what made everyone in the America realize,
oh wait, these guys might not might they might have
been telling the truth when they said it's a different skill. Yeah,
but also like you're right, like if they trained for it. Also,
if we wanted to you just send Tyreek Hill down
one sideline and fucking A J. Brown down the other,

(43:09):
you could just we could just throw jump balls to
AJ Brown probably and uh Drake London. Well, a J.

Speaker 1 (43:15):
Brown would probably quit on his team halfway through, so
maybe not a J.

Speaker 4 (43:18):
Brown, but like, yeah, he wanted to get the ball
after three passes, and he'd fucking pout and go to
the sideline and fake read a book.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
They had DeAndre Hopkins, so like they could do they're.

Speaker 4 (43:27):
Also playing defense. It was weird teeming DeAndre on defense.

Speaker 5 (43:29):
That was weird, but yeah, flag football they were. It
was like a showcase to get ready for the Olympics
coming up. And team USA one, so that's good to
the USA is still number one.

Speaker 4 (43:40):
Also, they put fucking Jalen Hurts out there.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
Yeah, Jalen Hurts and then uh then two pick sixes
and Jane Daniels is out there for the Commanders. Like,
you didn't have Jackson Dode out there, You didn't have
the best in the league out there slinging the ball.
So I don't really Knowaquon was on the other team,
so no wonder he's a fucking bomb and he he
betrayed his team.

Speaker 4 (43:59):
Anyway, how good would Danny Dimes be? Not only drop
around people?

Speaker 1 (44:04):
He doesn't have an achilles right now?

Speaker 4 (44:05):
Yeah, but like if he was fully healthy, he's the
fastest player in the league. Remember when he ran twenty
six miles.

Speaker 1 (44:09):
And now why is the fastest player that's been beaten?

Speaker 4 (44:11):
He could run past so many people. Also, something I
feel like these guys never remember that I picked up
on in sixth grade flag football, and then I dominated
from that point forward. If you spin, it's almost impossible
to grab your flag. That's that's exactly what the guy
just spin.

Speaker 5 (44:26):
Just exactly what the quarterback did that they didn't understand, like, oh,
I can't grab that.

Speaker 1 (44:30):
The flag's not just down anymore now it's up.

Speaker 4 (44:33):
I used to I wouldn't even do like spin moves
where you go to the side. I would literally just
run forward. But then like when people got near me,
I would just start spinning as I kept moving in
a straight line.

Speaker 1 (44:42):
Touchdown every play.

Speaker 5 (44:43):
And you can also do what I got fined for
in interview football is if you don't like a guy,
you can just pag him in the face with the
football because they don't wear helmets. Yeah, like you just
act like you're trying to go for a path.

Speaker 1 (44:56):
They did it twice, and that's what got me in
trouble because the guy like shoved me down, and you
showed a teammate down, and it was like, this is
flag football, you don't need to shove anybody. And so
then the next time I just pegged him in the
face to the football. And the second time I did it,
I tried to act like I was pump faking, and
then nobody bought it because I wasn't pump faking, but
it was funny. Dude.

Speaker 4 (45:15):
Imagine, like we get Josh Allen out there as our quarterback,
we identify who the best player is on the other team.
When he's on defense, we have him, get him into
somewhere where he's covering a shallow slant or shallow just drag,
and then have Josh Allen throw the ball as hard
as you can at that guy's head. Oh good, your
best player's out for the game now yeah, instantly, baom, and.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
Then we have it. You can get multiple quarterbacks on
the team, so you just have like the guy I
get another guy. It's just kind of crazy to like
be that guy and get kicked out like you were good.
Were another dude in and then you just have like
we're the NFL. We have the NFL at at our disposal,
so just get those guys to do that.

Speaker 4 (45:49):
Bro. You know who would have been sick at flag
football for us? Remember Dante Hall, the human joystick would
have been the greatest.

Speaker 5 (45:55):
Flag been nasty. Oh my god, Sidney Rice would have
been nasty. So what they call like Gronk was playing,
Brady was playing. There was guys that the market as well.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
We had people that have been retired for multiple years.

Speaker 5 (46:08):
I know Beckham didn't really play last year at all.
I think he played in like he had like seventeen
yards in the season.

Speaker 4 (46:13):
Fucking Logan, Paul and I show speed Rod.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
Yeah. I mean it wasn't like.

Speaker 5 (46:18):
It wasn't like this was the Super Bowl or anything,
but it didn't look great. It was like thirty eight
to nine and I think forty three to fourteen or
something like that. Like the USA flag football team smoked
the NFL and former NFL guys, but shout out to
flag football. We should just just I didn't watch it
because it was during March Madness, but I watched the highlights,
and the highlights are pretty electric.

Speaker 4 (46:38):
Honestly, the best move probably just take all of the
best corners in the league and have them play because
they know how to play defense anyway, and they're sick
enough athlete athletes still catch the ball.

Speaker 1 (46:46):
The flag football guys were pretty good though. They were
able to cover NFL receivers. Now like the jump ball,
they're shorter guys so that they're not able to get that.
But that's what we just got to like, if we could,
we just can't lose in the Olympics. So whoever the
best guys are, let's send those guys, even if they
aren't NFL guys. I mean, I feel like the NFL
guys need to figure out.

Speaker 4 (47:02):
Who's gonna beat this in the Olympics.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
Better not be anybody.

Speaker 4 (47:05):
There's like three other countries that even.

Speaker 1 (47:07):
Have for that's us. That that would be our Canada
losing to us in hockey, that's our sport. You can't
know what we can't ever lose in football ever.

Speaker 4 (47:14):
I know there's a German league, but I swear when
I saw highlights of it one time, they were just
playing like when we used to play in youth football
where it's just a field and like people are just
standing on the sidelines. That's the crowd's we have to win.

Speaker 5 (47:28):
Yeah, we we better, we better. But shout out to
flag football Chapel roan. She's back this week because she
turns out she might be mean.

Speaker 4 (47:40):
Yeah, for like the ninth time. She's got a reputation
for this kind of shit.

Speaker 5 (47:44):
I don't like it's it's a weird stint where she
was like allegedly she is Georgina, who is a Brazilian
soccer star and it's Jude Law's daughter, that's his stepdaughter,
but hit the soccer player. Georgina Is wife was at
a hotel I think for a chapelerone concert or a festival,

(48:05):
and she's allegedly like eleven year old daughter saw chapel
roon and was like, I'm gonna walk by the sea.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
Its chaperone and they said that chaper run. Security came
was like, don't fucking look at her, stay away from her.
Whatever made her cry made her cry. Allegedly, we didn't
have video or any of this, like eleven.

Speaker 4 (48:20):
Year old girl cry, what was wrong with you? You
got to be an eleven year old boys.

Speaker 5 (48:23):
Chaperon said she didn't do it, and then like seven
videos came out of her like airports and other places
being like hey, like pointing at somebody and then the
security guard would go approach that person. So it's like
she's done that before. I do think you have a
right to privacy at a certain point.

Speaker 1 (48:38):
But also you're a millionaire because people will listen to
your music and stuff, so like you kind of have
to take pictures of people. And I get that there
are people that know if.

Speaker 4 (48:46):
You live your life in the public eye, you don't
have an expectation privacy.

Speaker 5 (48:51):
You should get expectation of that in certain situations.

Speaker 1 (48:54):
If you're at dinner with your family, I can understand that.
So if it was like go up to the table
she washed you walked by, Yeah, but I want to.

Speaker 4 (49:02):
Say I do believe her in this one that it
was like it wasn't my security, some other like security
for the hotel.

Speaker 1 (49:06):
They knew that I was there, and they were probably like,
on watch, she's kind of mean, don't let people look
at her. But I and I also get that because
if you're a restaurant and somebody famous comes in, do
you want them to think, Okay, we're just gonna let
everybody come in and take pictures with you, because then
I'm not going to go back to that restaurant again.

Speaker 5 (49:21):
If you're rich, you're probably like gonna not spend more
money there. So I absolutely understand that from a restaurant's
point of view, you can't just be a dick to
everybody that like, and then she was a dick to
the paparazzi.

Speaker 4 (49:33):
Lead a prick about being a celebrity.

Speaker 1 (49:34):
Mostly the paparazzi, to be fair, which I don't care
fuck the paparazzi. Like whatever, dude, if your job is
to just try and get people at their worst, okay,
Like that is a job. But then I don't really
care when she's mean to you. It's when you're being
mean to done it on the red carpet. I was
watching that.

Speaker 4 (49:48):
You're there to get your picture taken and you're bitching
at people for taking your picture. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (49:51):
I'm a big Noah Kan fan, and he had posted
something the other day how somebody had put him in
a bad light by yelling at this guy that we
wouldn't give an autograph to He's like, that guy has
been at and he was naming all the stops on
his tour that he had been. He's like, this guy
follows me and he tries to get my autographs because
then he goes and he sells them to you guys
that I'm not gonna let somebody profit off of my
name and stuff like that, where he's taking your money
from me.

Speaker 1 (50:11):
If you're gonna get my autograph, I would like to
give you my autograph. I don't want someone else to
sell you my autograph.

Speaker 5 (50:15):
I understand that, but everything can be taken out of context,
especially when you're that famous and you're that publicly recorded
at all times. But it is wild to be like
a dick to your fans when and I'm not saying
she is one hundred percent of the wrong on this,
because she does have the right to privacy and certain extents.
But like, when you're walking to the street, somebody's gonna
take pictures of you, and if you and if people
are taking pictures of you from across the street, you

(50:38):
just have to like let that happen.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
And it sucks. But like, also what doesn't suck is
that you're a multimillionaire.

Speaker 4 (50:44):
Yeah, you've made enough money now to where if you
hate being a celebrity this much, you can just go
move to Montana by a giant ranch, have everything you
would ever need. You've got enough money to live off
for the rest of your life. You can do that. No,
you choose to keep to and making music, you don't
have to. Nobody's forcing you to be in the public eye. Yeah,

(51:06):
so nobody want cares when you're like it sucks being
in the public eye. You're doing it to yourself.

Speaker 5 (51:09):
And it definitely, like I'm not saying it doesn't because
it's it's so gotta be so annoying to like walk outside,
and then everybody just kind of flocks to you.

Speaker 4 (51:17):
And you've got the money, she can do make her
own record, label release.

Speaker 5 (51:20):
I can't pick a wedgie without anybody, get well, that's
somebody to get a picture of it. If I'm not
in my own home and the windows are closed, like
like you're at a certain point like that, And I
do think that that probably does suck.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
But also you're rich.

Speaker 4 (51:32):
It's like athletes will always say, I don't get paid
to play. I get paid to practice and do all
the other bullshit I don't want to do. The planing
is what you love. Yeah, making music's what you love.
You make a lot of money off of it. But yes,
there's downsides to everything. And when you make that much
money doing what you love, nobody cares what your downsides are.
Grow the fuck up.

Speaker 5 (51:53):
And then, really, I'm not even as mad at Chaperone
as I am happy that the memes are just funny,
cause it is really fun anywhere.

Speaker 1 (52:00):
It's just like Chapel Roone. She sees a fan of
a wheelchair, it's just somebody throwing a kid or the
wheelchair down a flight of stairs or so he'd be like,
I'm gonna go say had a chaperone and then then
coming back with a black guye and and stuff like that.
Like the memes are funny, and that's what I love
about the Internet. I was just like, let's take it
and then just hijacket and then parody the fuck out
of it, and that's what I like about it. So
Chaperone's back.

Speaker 5 (52:21):
Also back this week is this is a huge week
for dads that are very adamant about getting everybody at
the airport, like six and a half hours early. If
if you ever grew up with the dad that was like, hey,
our flight is at one pm. We're getting there at
five am. But why dad, that doesn't We're getting up
at two. But you better have all your shit packed
the night before. I have the car layder already.

Speaker 1 (52:41):
We're getting there and you pull up at five at
five am, ready to go.

Speaker 5 (52:45):
Nobody's in line at all. The line's ten fifteen minutes.
You get through it, and then you sit.

Speaker 1 (52:50):
For four hours at your gate because like you're watching
all the other flights that haven't even left jet you.
But that's our well, says our gates E one, this
is gonna be it. I know, the flight to my Miami.
He's not here yet, but like it's gonna be. And
then you just got to sit there. You're kind of like,
why are we here so early?

Speaker 4 (53:05):
Dad?

Speaker 5 (53:05):
Those dads are having a fucking hell of a week
right now because of all.

Speaker 1 (53:10):
The TSA is tough. I think so TSA is not funded.

Speaker 5 (53:12):
The government's not shut down, but TSA is not funded.
I'm not a government guy. Don't know things. That's what
my understanding is a thing that we've got other people
helping now to help out with the TSA.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
But the TSA was really short handed.

Speaker 5 (53:25):
So there were like six hour wait times in line
to go through TSA, and you know, every fucking dad
with his fings.

Speaker 1 (53:31):
I see, I told you that's why you gotta get
there early. So why that's why you don't. That's why
you don't rush it. If you rush it, black guy's
gotta miss his flight. See, we got right through. We
got right through. Every dad that did that. Shout out
to you, cause you you get to walk and gloat
this week, walk around and be like, yeah, I always
get four and a half hours ahead of my flight,
and I feel like I my dad was that way

(53:51):
I was that way on our honeymoon my wife. So,
why are we here so early? We're here three hours?
What if we miss it, we don't go anywhere, we
don't ever fly if we miss this flight, that's one
hundred percent on me, and we're not missing out of them.

Speaker 5 (54:00):
And then we're just sitting there, just hanging out. And
I was like, I'm fine, I got stuff loaded on
my iPad. You want to hang out, you gonna get
some drinks. We're on vacations to do that.

Speaker 4 (54:08):
With all this going on and how public it is.
Anybody that's flying for leisure right now, that's just a
wild move. Like, if you're flying right now, it should
only be because business, so.

Speaker 1 (54:16):
You're getting paid for it.

Speaker 4 (54:17):
Also, yeah is also, but like anybody that's just like, well,
I decided, me and my friends decided to go to
Vegas this weekend, and the lines were eight hours long.
You knew the lines were long. You're literally traveling at
the worst possible time you could be traveling. That's on you. Now,
if you had booked, you know, months out in advance,
that's a different thing. But I want to go a
weekend trip. You're fucking crazy right now?

Speaker 1 (54:41):
Sure, listen to your dad, shout out to dad's shot,
shatt to dads that showed up early as fuck to
the airport, because all those times this would have been
the week.

Speaker 4 (54:51):
I get anxiety still just hearing stories about people are like, no, dude,
I shove to the airport forty five minutes before my flight. Like,
what else are you doing the day you fly? Anyway,
you're doing anything that day? Get there early.

Speaker 5 (55:02):
And we don't travel far, we don't travel enough. The
three of us have like barely traveled anyways. But like,
I just assumed that everything at the airport's gonna take
six hours no matter what, just because my dad's kind
of instilled like we had to get or we have
to get there earlier or something bad could happen.

Speaker 1 (55:16):
You're like, okay, so we're gonna go. We're gonna park
in this lot, but then we're gonna have to get
the shuttle to take us to the airport. And I'm like, well,
that's gonna take an hour. Obviously, that's gonna take a
whole hour to get out of a car, to take
it out of a parking spot and wait for a
bus that comes through every five minutes. Well, that's gonna
take an hour.

Speaker 4 (55:32):
What if our plane comes in two hours early and
they decided to just leave two hours early. Huh? And
that never happened if it's the one time in his say,
it happens.

Speaker 1 (55:40):
But what if you're right?

Speaker 4 (55:42):
Good point, you have to assume everything with air travel.

Speaker 5 (55:44):
I don't have an answer for you on that. And
he's like, well, then shut up. And I have asked
these stupid questions.

Speaker 4 (55:49):
I should ask my dad. Okay, like, how vindicated have
you failed this week?

Speaker 1 (55:52):
Just like this season? I would have beat it. I
would have been on the ear. I would have stayed
last night. Okay, Like, do you think that dads now
would just add five hours to like what they're already
assuming it's going to be. So you're like, you just
sleep at the airport the night before, honey, we got
a hotel right outside. We're good.

Speaker 4 (56:10):
We gotta get there the day before so we can
pick out a good corner to sleep in for our
flight tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (56:14):
Established a peak corner. Yeah, shout out to those dads,
because I feel like everybody hates them all time. This
is your week, all right, this is your week.

Speaker 4 (56:23):
Dads?

Speaker 5 (56:27):
Would apps or apps? What was the last one you system.
Baseball's back, Baseball's back opening opening.

Speaker 1 (56:36):
What stupid is that. I know they always had the
champs usually play and then they they like stopped kind
of doing that, but they would always have like the
early game, and then they did the China game or
the japan game whatever, the Asia game. They did the
Asia Game. I see all people the same. So I
see everyone in the world Asians, I mean everyone in

(56:57):
the world.

Speaker 4 (56:58):
Ese, Japanese. What's the freaking difference that's you.

Speaker 1 (57:03):
Me?

Speaker 4 (57:03):
I know all of them.

Speaker 1 (57:04):
They played the Game of the East, the Eastern Game.

Speaker 4 (57:08):
I have an affinity for all of their women.

Speaker 5 (57:11):
Why I can't tell anybody apart no matter who they are,
So everybody's the same.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Plus I am all of us. We are all one.
Baseball's back.

Speaker 5 (57:22):
But I kind of hate that, like opening days tomorrow
and then they still have the game tonight, and then
that team skips the next day usually so then they
have a day off and it's like, just have everybody
fucking start the same day, Like that's based on should be.
The one part was like we all go go now,
and it's kind of tight because then you get the hey,
this this game's gonna start at ten, This game is
gonna start at eleven, This games to start at twelve
and just kind of hop around like that's the best.

Speaker 1 (57:41):
Part about it.

Speaker 5 (57:41):
And yeah, they have that, but every team should go
not just let's not have an opening Night and and
it's on different shit now, Like I don't I don't
like it.

Speaker 4 (57:50):
I'm okay with opening night having one standalone game before
because at least, yeah, at least now we're not doing
a japan game that airs at four am local time
three days before the rest of the league starts. That
ship drove me fucking crazy.

Speaker 5 (58:03):
Sometimes it would be like a week before and then
they would go back and play more spring training games
and then yeah, I think.

Speaker 4 (58:09):
Yeah that was before dumb there was like.

Speaker 5 (58:11):
Cobs Dodgers or something like that, wasn't it, Like yeah, no,
we had another week.

Speaker 4 (58:16):
What I understand, you're trying to get the Japanese market.
You already have it.

Speaker 1 (58:19):
Japan has their own league.

Speaker 4 (58:20):
They already and you already have it. Shoe Hey is
the biggest name in sport well, I mean soccer whatever.
Nobody cares about that. Shoe is the biggest name in
American sports, and he already has the Asian market. You're
getting the views. Anyway, It's fine. We don't need game
over there, not yet.

Speaker 1 (58:36):
By Jackson dor he will be Buddy Pie Jackson Doar's
camps guy with.

Speaker 4 (58:41):
God. I love that man.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
Did you see him running this week?

Speaker 4 (58:43):
He's so fast.

Speaker 1 (58:44):
He's so fast and he's not even a hundred percent. Anyways, Anyways,
Bason's back because it's a baseball baseball story. Yeah, Bezio's back.
I feel like this is the least excited I ever
been for baseball season.

Speaker 4 (58:55):
I'm so excited. I'm so ready. This is how I
feel every year. I'm so ready for baseball season. I
miss it. I love it.

Speaker 5 (59:02):
It's gonna make me mad, and I'm not happy about
getting mad for one hundred and cc two games.

Speaker 4 (59:07):
Baseball season is the best because you never have to
be like, what's on? Is there anything on TV? There's
always baseball on TV. There's always a game going on
now for the next six months, eight months. I never
have to make oh there's no sports on too. There's
sports on all the time now.

Speaker 1 (59:23):
And did you see another thing we haven't talked about
yet but has to do with baseball, The nine nine
nine challenge. All of the teams that are embracing it
now bullshit version of it. I saw somebody sent me
the picture of it. I like, that's fucking awesome.

Speaker 5 (59:33):
And then I looked at it half sized and read
about it. I didn't know that at first, Like the
picture is like, I don't know the sizes of all
these things.

Speaker 1 (59:41):
And then they're like, no, they're pigs in a blank beer.

Speaker 5 (59:44):
Yeah, they're like mini hot or smaller hot dogs and
like flight sized glasses of beer.

Speaker 4 (59:49):
And I was like, well, yeah, I still like that
they're doing it though, that's cool. We should like if
you're gonna do it in for a penny, in for
a pound.

Speaker 1 (59:56):
But yeah, So I was like, if you do the
nineine nine challenge, but you do it with the mini ones,
like that's like going you did the half marathon.

Speaker 4 (01:00:02):
If you're gonna claim it, it better be your child who's
doing it. And you're like, he's allowed to drink these
beers because he's with me.

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
No, it's fine, I bought him, he's not. This is
a this is a family tradition.

Speaker 4 (01:00:11):
We can always do that legal in Texas. That's what
I was gonna say.

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
I don't think it's that. I don't think it's legal
in public.

Speaker 4 (01:00:18):
Well, no, at restaurants you can, but like the rule
is you have to serve it to the adult or
super whoever's in charge of the child. Then they can
then give the beer to their kid if they want.

Speaker 1 (01:00:29):
Fuck your ship up.

Speaker 6 (01:00:30):
No, it's fully legal, that isn't I don't believe that
because if you can't buy what alcohol beer on Sundays
Sunday mornings, I don't feel like you can do it.

Speaker 4 (01:00:38):
God, this is actually like part of my job. But
that's the rule is you have to serve it to
the adult because if if if it's a t ABC
sting and they see you giving it right to the kid,
you're fucked. But in Texas it's legal for adults to
let their children or I just drink, but you have
to give it to the It was part of me

(01:00:59):
getting my fuckingcohol license or whatever it's called.

Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
It is hilarious though to think of like a dad
doing it with like an eight year old. No, it's fine,
I'm driving home. He wants he's always wanted to do this.

Speaker 4 (01:01:09):
It's a mini beer.

Speaker 1 (01:01:10):
It's he's my kid. It's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:01:12):
I don't like beer, he'll be fine.

Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
I bought it for him all right.

Speaker 4 (01:01:16):
Fine, Sunday beers. You guys, don't do this with.

Speaker 1 (01:01:18):
Your excuse us, you'll follow your son bonding time. Guys
can't have fun anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:01:23):
That'd be so sick. But yeah, I wonder there's probably
rules at stadiums like, yeah, we we opt out of that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:30):
I don't like fault anybody for like the nine nine
is hard enough on its own to do.

Speaker 4 (01:01:34):
They don't want people getting tanked when they drove for
the game.

Speaker 5 (01:01:37):
Well, there's gotta be some insurance thing, like they wait,
that's why they're small beers.

Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
Yeah, likes, who's gonna be like it's just a few spiers.
Oh oh yeah, it's a few spiers. I mean it's
a few smopies literally small beers, very smallpish small beers.

Speaker 5 (01:01:54):
You should get like a card with like it's okay,
don't you can't take it this pressure for a.

Speaker 4 (01:01:59):
D W who's the closest ballpark that has that get
a shirt with him saying a few small beers.

Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
I think, I mean, I think Dyke in Parks one
of the ones that's doing it.

Speaker 4 (01:02:09):
Are they doing the nine nine nine?

Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
Yeah, we should do a day game and then.

Speaker 4 (01:02:12):
It's called sugar Land, like Hey, you all need to
get in them, the real ones.

Speaker 5 (01:02:18):
But if you do the nine nine nine with the
little pack that they have and it's not the full size,
it counts as a nine nine nine challenge. But it
counts the same as running like a half marathon at marathon,
like not saying he's not an accomplishment. That's still pretty
cool that you did it. It's not the same in
some of its Well, that's like if you did it
at home too. If you do it at home but
you use real beers and real dogs, that still counts.

Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
You have to do it within the inning. You can
drink more than one or do more than one.

Speaker 5 (01:02:42):
But like if you if you're the eighth inning and
you're still on beer four, that doesn't count.

Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
It's yeah, per inning. You have to have at least
a beer and a dog an inning.

Speaker 4 (01:02:51):
It's important in the way you say it. Yes, you
did a nine nine nine challenge, you didn't do the
the nine nine. You gotta put some respect on this name.

Speaker 1 (01:02:59):
Put some respect. So yeah, what else did you have
with baseball?

Speaker 4 (01:03:03):
Part of baseball being back is the new automatic ball
strike zone system is uh fucking with a time honored
tradition of men lying about their heights, especially in sports.
It's always been a thing. But every guy, you know,
how every guy is six foot but now every player
has had to get electronically measured for it so that

(01:03:25):
they can have accurate strike zones for all of grow.
And there's been a lot of guys that have lost
some height over the last few years. Uh Bregman, you
know he's been six foot for a while. He's five
to ten, which I think is about the stretchiest you
can go of it. But that's not some guys Gavin
Lux went from six to two to five to eleven
three inches three inches of height that you're lying about,

(01:03:47):
even in spikes that's accessible. But there's also guys that
have gotten taller.

Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
Yeah, they grow, but like, who what.

Speaker 4 (01:03:55):
Guy lies about being smaller? Outside of Kevin Durant, I
thought he was the only one ever, but there's a
whole list show. Hey he's all he was six thirty
six four now so like even more of a freak,
the craziest one Felix ball Taste. Though he was listed
at six or five last year, he's six foot eight.
Why would you not list yourself as six foot eight?
You're even more imposing as a picture. Then you want

(01:04:16):
to be the biggest guy on the mound you can
possibly be.

Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
That's pretty crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:04:19):
I don't know why you would lie to undersell your height. Yeah,
the oversellers, I understand. Guy's been doing that forever. Insecure
about me just humbling.

Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
Maybe you're just humbling, like I don't want people. I
don't want to. I want to save some pussy for
everybody else, you know. Like that's maybe what they're trying
to do, which is actually kind of cool for them.

Speaker 4 (01:04:34):
Also, Christopher Sanchez, he was listed at six to one.
He's six six listening to yourself five inch? Like got
five inches? That's five inches? Like how bad were you
slouching last year? When they measured you before?

Speaker 5 (01:04:46):
They probably just were like they just asked you. They
didn't really like measure, Like where do you want to
go by?

Speaker 1 (01:04:51):
All right? Cool? And like now that's by the way,
it matters now. So if you want us to do this,
and he's like, fucker lied, I have to add something.

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
If I was six six, I would never say I
was six to one, Like, no, I'm six to six.

Speaker 1 (01:05:04):
I'm better than you. Yeah, I would brag about it
all the time.

Speaker 4 (01:05:06):
I'm a genetic marvel I brag about it.

Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
Fuck that does That's crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:05:12):
So yeah, if you want to continue being a dude
lying about your height, don't make it to the majors.

Speaker 1 (01:05:16):
Two has stayed the same though he didn't lie, he
was honest.

Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
He stayed at yeah, because Al two is an honest man.
He's a good man. He's the best of.

Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
Us, not Diamond, Diamond, I love his movies. He's the
best of us. Okay, So real quick recap. Like the ABS,
they can challenge calls.

Speaker 4 (01:05:38):
You get two challenges a game, the whole team, not
each player, the whole whole team. If you get it right,
do you keep your.

Speaker 5 (01:05:45):
Many times like I'm so excited for just the games
where you just burn them in the first in and
like they touched the head, they tapped the head to
go look at it, and it's like the same batter
gets it done twice and two fucking at bads, You're like.

Speaker 1 (01:05:56):
What the fuck man, now, we can't do this the
rest of the game. What are you talking? What do
you do it?

Speaker 4 (01:06:00):
It's gonna be so funny. The first time the woman umpire,
she better be right on the first challenge because she's
had some bad ones in the past. It's the first
time in history that anyone's ever said these words. I
wish Angel Hernandez was still in the.

Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
Game to see you can look back what napp bitch? Yeah, Angel,
that was why? But then he can you win and
still get ejected because I feel like if you win,
you should.

Speaker 5 (01:06:20):
Have like there should be a moratory. I'm on, like,
you not allowed to eject that person for that at
battle least.

Speaker 4 (01:06:25):
I bet like some umpires will still find a way.
There'll be a guy that like turns and stairs at
him and very slowly taps his head. They'll be like, no, okay,
they're straight, but you gotta bring a new battery. And
he's ejected. He was taunting.

Speaker 5 (01:06:35):
Well, I was gonna say that that would be my
that was my next question was like if you look
at the like, can you throw you out?

Speaker 1 (01:06:40):
You're out of here. It's like nope, actually it was overturned.
I get to I get to resume that bad like, nah, nah,
I kicked you out.

Speaker 4 (01:06:47):
It's gonna be great. When somebody burns their two challenges early,
you should also be able to fire. It just gets
vindictive for the rest of the game and has a.

Speaker 1 (01:06:55):
Horrible shit on that's gonna happen for sure, there's gonna
be some day.

Speaker 4 (01:06:59):
That's the thing. We'll get to learn who the new
dick umpire is this year.

Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
And that's actually like, you can be more of a
dick that way. What do you dow bitch?

Speaker 5 (01:07:07):
Oh yeah, it was all outside. I don't really strike
zone just completely changes.

Speaker 4 (01:07:10):
It's not gonna it's not gonna affect that much. I
think people are worried. It's gonna be a way bigger part.

Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
We thought the same thing with the pitch clock.

Speaker 5 (01:07:16):
We were like the pitch clock, gon, fuck everything up
full stood up, and we're like, this is.

Speaker 1 (01:07:21):
Kind of tight that a game is not seven and
a half hours.

Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
What what's gonna suck is when the first time a
game ends on that. Yeah, like it gets called a
ball and the catcher taps to do it and then
strike three games over. Oh that was anti climactic as shit.
Oh yeah, anything but that. It's gonna go the other
way too.

Speaker 5 (01:07:40):
What else is that? That's it? That's the only other.
That's the only real rule change we gotta worry about.
And really what I'm aware of.

Speaker 1 (01:07:47):
Yeah, all right, well so there, now you know baseball,
because we told you not one that really affects the game.

Speaker 6 (01:07:52):
But I think they're gonna be really enforcing the third
base coach and first base coach being in the base past, like.

Speaker 4 (01:08:01):
Where they're allowed to stand. Yeah, closer than what they
normally stand though.

Speaker 1 (01:08:04):
No, it's further. Yeah, they have been standing really close.

Speaker 4 (01:08:08):
Okay, that's what I saw somebody complaining, like, it's gonna
be so much more dangerous. They're gonna get hit by balls,
And I was like, wait, were they standing farther? Now
they're making them stand closer. Okay, that makes sense. They're like, yeah,
well these guys hit one oh five off the back consistently.
Now we don't need anybody dying on third base.

Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
I have always wondered, and it makes sense with the
case of foul balls, but I always thought it was
crazy that they at certain levels of that if you
had a base coach, like a first and third base
coach like that, they didn't have the pitch screen that
you have in like batting practice, Like why not just
set that? They like I get like you'd run into
it if you're trying to go pop out. Yeah, that's
exactly why. But like and like lowerly, like lower level baseball, Like,

(01:08:47):
why not just have that there?

Speaker 4 (01:08:48):
What do you mean high school? If you had like yeah,
like high school, still serious, you can't have kids running
over and tripping on that thing and hurt themselves on
a pop line.

Speaker 1 (01:08:55):
Would you rather have somebody run into that or somebody
die because a ball hit them?

Speaker 4 (01:08:59):
Eh?

Speaker 1 (01:09:00):
Yeah that's true. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:09:02):
Hey, if you can't react fast enough, don't be out there. Also,
they should probably all wear helmets.

Speaker 1 (01:09:07):
They should probably all wear helmets.

Speaker 4 (01:09:08):
Just wear the helmet out there. They're all like fifty
six sixty year old dudes that are kind of fat,
not in the best shape anymore. Maybe just have them
wear a glove when they're out there too, for just
a screamer that comes.

Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
Out and like, yeah, yeah, I like that. I do
like that.

Speaker 5 (01:09:26):
And then I've always thought it'd be funny if a
picture just adopted the softball glasses, like the protective softball
glasses just in case, like old joy about.

Speaker 1 (01:09:36):
It, go out there with the old horse grants the
respecs rexpecs. Dude, that would be so.

Speaker 4 (01:09:42):
Why don't any pictures I had someone when I was.

Speaker 1 (01:09:44):
A kid, they had technology. Now they got better technology.
It turns out if you just put this stuff on
those things that attach the back of the glasses, they
just get wasted. It's better or lasick. Yeah they're rich now.

Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
I fucking balled out my respects and youth basketball. Really
I wasn't. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:10:02):
I was more athletic than most kids. My is grown up,
so we had kind of shoot. I was just a
little white kid running around in Rexpex. They stunk, dude,
I sweat I bet, yeah, didn't wash them all right,
So baseball is back, which leads us two hour mock
draft of cool baseball names. Guys with cool baseball names

(01:10:23):
will be what we're picking today.

Speaker 5 (01:10:25):
Let's recap last week's mock draft of people that took
themselves too seriously. Pat had a fifty percent, showing he
had fasion of the vote.

Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
He beat me. I had forty four percent of the vote.

Speaker 5 (01:10:38):
It was really a two horse race, and for the
first time this season, Robert didn't win. So I wasn't
happy that Pat won, but I was happy that Robert
didn't win because in Robert would just run away with
this season. Uh So wins of the season Robert has two,
Pat has one, and I have none, and this week's
drafter was gonna go in reverse of last week's finish.

Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
It'll go Robert me, Pat pat Me, Robert, Robert me,
pat pat Me Robert. So we're gonna go in a
snake draft order like that. Now, we have a couple
of ground rules for this. It is a mock draft
of cool baseball names. There are people that you can
take that.

Speaker 5 (01:11:13):
Maybe go by a name that is not their legal
birth given name. But we're not, like I was saying
earlier to you guys before we started, like big Poppy
is Big Poppy.

Speaker 1 (01:11:25):
That's David Ortiz. He's not Big Poppy or Tease.

Speaker 4 (01:11:28):
The nickname has to be the name that he actually
goes by.

Speaker 5 (01:11:31):
Yes, Like you can say you can take Hank Aaron.
You don't have to. Yeah, yeah, you can do names
like that if that is the name they go by,
that's fine. You can't, like, like the Rocket, you can't
just take that for Roger Clemens. That doesn't count the
Big Unit. You can't just take that for Chance.

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
All right?

Speaker 5 (01:11:50):
Uh So are I don't like, is there a one
one in this that that's tough because a lot of
these guys have are older dudes.

Speaker 1 (01:11:57):
So I'm really excited.

Speaker 5 (01:11:57):
This is a pretty wide open, uh mock draft of
all right, so let's just let's just kick it off,
Pat or Robert, you go, first, mock draft of baseball
players with cool names?

Speaker 4 (01:12:07):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:12:07):
I told you guys before that I had one that
we could have to debate about. I'm gonna see if
it gets beats out or not right off the bat
you're running it right off the battam and going all right,
because I need to know. So this is a mock
draft of cool baseball names? Are you talking about like
temperature wise cool?

Speaker 4 (01:12:23):
I think he's gonna choose like a minor league team name,
cool baseball name.

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
There's gotta be a player's name, right, is that what
you're asking?

Speaker 6 (01:12:31):
I guess sort of because we did not we did
not established America's pastime.

Speaker 4 (01:12:37):
No, No, we were going, no, it's gotta be it's
gotta be a I don't remember this being called I
think that mock draft of people with cool baseball names.

Speaker 1 (01:12:45):
We kind of said. I think I just kind of
let it in.

Speaker 4 (01:12:47):
The great thing about my list is I know not
you guys don't have a single one of mine.

Speaker 6 (01:12:51):
All right, then my number one, he's the best of us.
Pat said, I'm gonna go to.

Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
Hose out to you going to the pander picks. You're
trying to get all the ash. It's not a bad stretch.
He lost one week and he's just hungry, hungrier than ever. Um.

Speaker 5 (01:13:13):
I always thought catfish Hunter was a kick ass name.
Catfish Hunter. Let's go with that Catfish Hunter, all right.

Speaker 4 (01:13:19):
I'm gonna go back to the golden age of baseball
back in eighteen eighty two, played eleven seasons.

Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
I'm going with chicken Wolf. Chicken Wolf. That's spelled just
like that.

Speaker 4 (01:13:30):
It's spelled just like chicken wolf, all right. And for
my next pick after him, oh god, too many good names,
all right, I'm gonna go with from eighteen seventy eight,
Buttercup Dickerson.

Speaker 1 (01:13:44):
Buttercup.

Speaker 4 (01:13:47):
I found this old list of a bunch of names,
and there are some fire ones on.

Speaker 1 (01:13:52):
Here, all right. That leaves me Rusty Cunts.

Speaker 4 (01:13:56):
Great name.

Speaker 5 (01:13:56):
We take Rusty Cunts who uh the coach right now
and was a player for the White Sox and Tigers
and Twins in the seventies and eighties.

Speaker 1 (01:14:05):
Rusty Kunts And that's cunts with a K. All right,
I'm gonna go Robert Feline. He was just old vagina.

Speaker 4 (01:14:16):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (01:14:18):
So I have two here.

Speaker 6 (01:14:19):
I'm gonna gona go Coco Crisp.

Speaker 4 (01:14:25):
Great name, one of, well one of just the greatest
sports names of all time.

Speaker 1 (01:14:30):
Yes as it was his Uh Robert Fielmo had just
been cereal. And then I'll go Fami the one I'm
gonna go. I said this one count Urban Shocker. That's
a good name. Urban Shocker. Yeah, great name. That's a
fun name. Yeah. I mean that play is Why wouldn't

(01:14:51):
not count? It's his name, Urban shocker? All right, I
am gonna go with with se Between these two, I'm
gonna go with Raleigh Fingers.

Speaker 4 (01:15:16):
Great name, even better mustache.

Speaker 1 (01:15:19):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:15:21):
Third pick? Here are you ready for this one? Robert
might be the greatest name in the history of mankind.
Cannon Ball titcom spelled t I T c O m
B cannon ball titcom. And my last one, God, there's
one that has my heart that I think I'm gonna
save it for honorable mentions though, damn oh, maybe I

(01:15:48):
go one ship. See. I just have a list of
like sixty names I should have actually like narrowed these
down a little bit. I will go with Pikaboo beach
v e a c H peak a boo beach like Peach.

(01:16:11):
But yeah, pekaboo veach.

Speaker 5 (01:16:15):
All right, I am gonna go with my last pick.
I have several options I could go with, obviously, but
I'm gonna go.

Speaker 1 (01:16:28):
Do you want two cool names or just cool first name?

Speaker 4 (01:16:31):
Should this other lot of.

Speaker 1 (01:16:33):
Options here, I'm gonna go. You already took Coco, though,
so I'm gonna go Goose Gossage. Goose Gossage, fucking great.
Just a guy named Goose. Let's go with that. Wrap
it up. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go Dusty Baker.

Speaker 4 (01:16:55):
It's a good name, a good strong name. Dusty Baker
invented the high five, yeah, which is a crazy thing
that before nineteen seventy nobody thought to high five each other.
That is pretty coo in nineteen sixties on whatever he
did it, that's.

Speaker 1 (01:17:11):
Pretty fucking all right.

Speaker 5 (01:17:12):
Our mock draft of cool baseball names to run through that,
and then we can do honorable mentions. Robert has Jose
al Tuve, Cocoa, Crisp, Urban Shocker, and Dusty Baker. I
have Catfish Hunter Rusty Kuntz, Roley Fingers and Goose Gossage
and Pat has chicken Wolf, Buttercup Dickerson, Cannonball, Titcum and

(01:17:32):
Pikaboovie to Pats probably gonna win.

Speaker 4 (01:17:34):
It's huh, I'm either gonna win or I'm gonna get
like three percent because it's names that nobody's.

Speaker 1 (01:17:38):
Ever heard of, but like it's cool baseball name, but
they're great names, school baseball names. And then like also,
if anybody wants to call me a liar, I'll send
out the link that has the bay froll google it. Yeah,
all right, honorable mentions. I was really torn between Goose
Gossage and then Milton Bradley because remember Coco Crisp and
Milton Bradley were in the same outfield for the ends.

Speaker 4 (01:18:00):
That was cool, yeah, and that I mean, I was
surprised no one took Oil Camboyd.

Speaker 1 (01:18:04):
Oil Camboyd was good.

Speaker 4 (01:18:06):
Oil Camboyd was a great one.

Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
The world Strawberry, Like that's a kick ass name.

Speaker 4 (01:18:11):
The one that I was torn and wanted to take
was pussy Tobo.

Speaker 1 (01:18:16):
Because you could have just made them all dirty ones.
But like, yeah, like I don't know, Rusty Kuntz was
pretty dirty. No, they can't do all of that. Yeah,
Johnny Dick Shott was another one you could have gone with.

Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:18:26):
Or there was Jack glass Cock, Pete Lucock was another one,
Live Oak, Taylor, Booth, bondser fog Horn, Bradley.

Speaker 1 (01:18:35):
That's really good. That's such a good name. Tug McGraw
Doug McGraw was a great one. Ralph Ham had. Uh.
Pokey reeseo is a great name one. We already done
Pokey Reeves with Robert Fielance, so you know I didn't
do that. I had Babe Ruth, Randy Johnson, Chipper Jones,
Sheber Jens is a cool baseball name.

Speaker 4 (01:18:55):
Jones is a great name. Old Hoss Radbourne that's a
cool name for sure, Dick Burns, Tony Suck.

Speaker 1 (01:19:02):
Jazz Chisholm, I've always thought is a kick ass name
for a plea. He may not be a great player always,
but Jack Chislm sounds like a guy that could just
hit the fuck out of the ball. Piggy Ward, Piggy
Ward's good. Robert. Did you have any honorable mentions? Uh?
I came in with four. Yeah, pretty much. I think
I have one, two, three, I think I have five, five,

(01:19:23):
in America's past time was the other. Yeah, Prince Fielder,
princefield Oh that's good. Oh yeah, Prince Fielder. And it's
Dad cecil Cecilfielder.

Speaker 4 (01:19:32):
Bumpus Jones.

Speaker 1 (01:19:33):
Bumpus Jones is good. Boog Powell, Boog Powell. Yeah, Boog's Barbecue.
It's in Eastern Shore.

Speaker 4 (01:19:41):
I decided to go weird with mine. But I was like,
there's so many from the modern end.

Speaker 1 (01:19:44):
There's a lot.

Speaker 6 (01:19:45):
Yeah, I think I just I didn't understand fully the
difference between the nickname and the name if like you
call him.

Speaker 4 (01:19:52):
That, like like he said beforehand, pud Rodriguez, that was
his nickname.

Speaker 1 (01:19:55):
But that's what he went Von Rodriguez. Yeah, but like
we called him Putt. Everyone knew him as if you
said Pad Rodriguez, that would have played. You couldn't say
Rocket Clemmens or anything like that.

Speaker 4 (01:20:06):
Shit. Honus Wagner Wagoner's really good. You know what. His
older brother played one season on the pros. You know
what his name was, but Swagner's I found that in
my research as well.

Speaker 1 (01:20:16):
That's awesome.

Speaker 5 (01:20:19):
All right, Hey, that's our our mock draft of cool
baseball names. I will post the grat we'll post a
graphic about three o'clock on Thursday twenty six, then we'll
leave it up until about five o'clock on Sunday this week.
That's where you can go vote on Twitter at Past
the Gravy Pod, Twitter or x whatever you want to
call it, So don't forget to go vote there. We'll

(01:20:40):
we get our final tally. Moving on, let's get to
the not cool segment. We were gonna do listener submitt knuckles.
Viewers submitt knuckles. By the way, if you're watching us
on YouTube, what's up? If you're not watching us on YouTube,

So we're gonna do the viewer and listeners been not
cools next week.

Speaker 1 (01:21:12):

on at Pass Gray Pod. Put the hashtag PTG not cool.
You get you step your toe, that's not cool.

Speaker 5 (01:21:19):
You get run over by uh by a bad castle
on a motorcycle, and then punched in the face because
you're an idiot to try to step in front of him,
then that's also not cool. So varying degrees are not cool.
Share yours with us. Uh, this is a not cool segment.

Speaker 1 (01:21:32):
Not cool, man, that's cool?

Speaker 4 (01:21:44):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:21:45):
Our first color? I guess no, we're not reading anything else.
I'll go first. My not cool is that I didn't
have hot water for four days.

Speaker 4 (01:21:52):
It sucked.

Speaker 1 (01:21:53):
Cold showers are awful. I can do cold showers. My
wife can do cold showers, but my kids can't do
cold baths. They didn't understand that. So we were having
to like.

Speaker 5 (01:22:02):
Boil four pots of water each time we would do
the bath and then just get as lukewarm as you know,
we would like fill the other the rest of the
tub with water. But it was just like you had
to just mix it to make sure it was like
room temperature. Basically that was a pain in the ass.
And it happened like Thursday afternoon. I was I'd worked

(01:22:23):
out and I was getting in the shower and.

Speaker 1 (01:22:24):
It was just like, why isn't it get any one?

Speaker 4 (01:22:25):
What the fuck?

Speaker 1 (01:22:26):
And then I saw an email from our place there
was like, yeah, the boiler went out and they're replacing it.
And then they came to replace it. They were able
to get I was like talking to the plumber guys
because they were like, the little boiler room is right
by me, so like, so, how are you doing with it?
What's going on? I act like I know, like I'm
talking shop with him, like what's h what's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:22:45):
Boiler?

Speaker 5 (01:22:45):
Get the like, yeah, we'll trying to get the pilot
to connect right now. The valves it was it was
a valve issue. We just got to replace valves. Awesome
tight And I came back like three hours later and
they were still there, Like what's up.

Speaker 1 (01:22:57):
It's not hot yet he was, oh, so yeah, the
valve was the wrong valve and they somebody brought the
wrong valve and they it was the oldest boiler ever.

Speaker 5 (01:23:06):
Made, I think, in the history of Earth, so they
didn't have that version of the valve and because they
didn't have that, they couldn't do anything.

Speaker 1 (01:23:13):
But the guy was still there for like five hours
and didn't do anything. I was like, what are you
doing if you needed a different thing? And so then
they didn't have it Saturday, they didn't have it Sunday.
Monday they came back and I was like, what's up, dude,
how's it go? And he's like, yeah, we got the
right valve. It's tight.

Speaker 5 (01:23:28):
And it finally came back and it's awesome, but not
having hot water sucks. It was good that we had
water at all, but not having hot water for four
days was not fun.

Speaker 4 (01:23:38):
That's pretty brutal.

Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
What do you guys got it?

Speaker 4 (01:23:42):
So mine kind of rolled into each other. I think
I had mentioned how I had had the water dripping
on me over my toilet, and they finally got out
to fix it, and they called me and were like, hey,
turns out it's bigger than we thought it was gonna be,
So can we move you into this other apartment for
a few days while, uh, while we figure figure it out.

Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
I was like, yeah, no problem, I don't really care.

Speaker 4 (01:24:05):
And they're like, well, yeah, it's a furnished apartment, fully furnished,
and they're like, uh, the only thing is that the
guys they don't work over the weekend, so they'll start
working on Monday, which I was like cool, Like I
can still use my apartment for March.

Speaker 1 (01:24:19):
Mad and hang out in your apartment.

Speaker 4 (01:24:20):
Yeah, but like when they had to like remove the toilet,
so I was the other apartments on the other side
of the parking lot for me, so anytime I had
to poop, I had to go over there. I was
back to using Peace Inc. For the weekend, which was understandable, Yeah,
if I just had to pee. So I was there,
but I didn't have a toilet, and like my they
had gutted it.

Speaker 1 (01:24:41):
I think I got a picture here and you were
texting me and you sent me like with the all
the insulation out.

Speaker 4 (01:24:46):
Yeah, Robert, did I show it was? They ripped everything
out of there so like and then they had to
like even where the mirror is, they had to rip
down that whole wall and everything. They said that it
should be done by Wednesday. I still haven't gotten a
call back, so assuming they didn't finish today, I've been
like popping back over at night to check it out.
And by yesterday they had all the drywall redone, but

(01:25:07):
the mirror wasn't up, and the lights weren't back in there,
and the toilet wasn't back in there yet. And it
still kind of smelled like paint, so I kind of
figured when even when they finished, it's going to take
another day. Yeah. The bad thing is is when I
went to go pick up on the key on Friday
when I left work, I was like, oh, yeah, and
is there a Wi Fi password? And they were like, oh, well,
like we've got the the apartment WiFi, but I don't
think it reaches back there. They put me in an

(01:25:28):
apartment with no cable and no Wi Fi.

Speaker 1 (01:25:29):
Well, I usually you have to pay for.

Speaker 4 (01:25:32):
Yeah, but I assumed if it's their backup apartment that
they would have it in there.

Speaker 1 (01:25:37):
That's crazy. They just have a backup apartment.

Speaker 4 (01:25:39):
I'm sure they have a few for situations like this.

Speaker 1 (01:25:41):
I've never thought about that, but I don't think like
any of the places I've ever lived at, they were
just like, sorry, that sucks, we're gonna Yeah. When I
didn't have AC in the summer that year, they were
just like, well, I ain't guess you're gonna have at
that the windows open. Yeah, no apartment I live and
has had that.

Speaker 4 (01:25:54):
They called it the CQ, which is I was like,
and what is that? Like, it's the corporate quarters? So
at first, I was like, oh, you know, because it's
all I'm sure it's owned by some organization. Whenever they
have someone in town, they've got somewhere to put them
or something like that. But uh, yeah, so I haven't
had Cabler internet the last two days. It's gonna be
three now, maybe four. Who knows when this is gonna
be finished? Your house, Yeah, but like I haven't been

(01:26:18):
since Monday. I haven't been staying there because it smells
like paint yeah in there, and I don't want to
pass out from the fumes or anything like that. And
also I've just you know, I've been cranking the ace
to sixty five in this other apartment because I'm not
paying for it. Cool, just rocking out video games and everything.
But uh so yesterday I went to Sam's Club just uh,
I was gonna get like just a couple of beers,

(01:26:39):
a few beers, and uh, just a couple of things
to pick on and eat while I'm in that apartment.
And uh, when I was going to get the beers,
I noticed the wine and the box wine that I
like to get from time to time. I look over
and the chardonnay, I guess wasn't selling their Australian chardonnay.
It was super cheap. It was eight like something the Boss.

Speaker 1 (01:26:57):
Ray is traditionally known for it shardonay.

Speaker 4 (01:27:00):
They actually yellowtail. Yeah, that's pretty. I don't know if
it's that one, but anyway, So I bought two boxes
of that and drank a bunch of it last night.
But unfortunately, what I tend to do when I stay
up late drinking is I just start chewing on my
fingernails and I've just I've nubbed them all. I dude,
I look like.

Speaker 1 (01:27:18):
I think I had nails, and damn, I mean look
at that one.

Speaker 4 (01:27:21):
Dude. It hurts.

Speaker 1 (01:27:22):
That's bad.

Speaker 4 (01:27:23):
It's not good. So I fucked up like six of
my fingernails last night, just drinking white wine and playing
video games until one point thirty in the morning. That sucks.
And now I'm like, baseball season starts tomorrow. I need
them to finish your fingernails. Now, I need them to
finish this apartment so I can get back in there
and watch baseball all weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:27:44):
That's wild. Yeah, wow, that sucks though. That sucks, But
that's actually like really tight that they gave you like
a backup, yeah apartment.

Speaker 4 (01:27:51):
The way It was weird though, Like when I got there,
I had to go back and get bring my Like
I brought clothes.

Speaker 1 (01:27:56):
And everything out obviously my weekend department, but I had
to bring my shot.

Speaker 4 (01:27:59):
They didn't have a shower curtain, so I had to
take down my shower curtain and bring it over to
this other place.

Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
You should just not, like, I know, a shower.

Speaker 4 (01:28:07):
I'm not chancing getting dinged for like damaging the ground
with water and everything.

Speaker 1 (01:28:12):
Then they got to knock out the walls of.

Speaker 4 (01:28:14):
And I like my apartment people. They're nice and cool,
so I'm just like, yeah, whatever, you guys got to.

Speaker 1 (01:28:17):
Let's knock out you'ck a good tenant probably.

Speaker 4 (01:28:22):
Oh yeah, dude, I don't complain about anything, like let
them know stuff. Yeah. And the only thing is also
then last night, I don't know, I haven't used the
kitchen sink. It just started dripping and I forgot to
call them today about it. So and they're closed already. Oops. Yeah,
but I just want to be hey, by the way,
I didn't use this sing, not me, but this is
how it goes. Sorry, I forgot to call you about it.

(01:28:45):
I'm an idiot, But just so you know, when you
get in there after I'm gone. I did not fuck up.

Speaker 1 (01:28:50):
Your Sorry about that? Yeah, yeah, solid? Not cool?

Speaker 4 (01:28:53):
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (01:28:53):
Sold not cool.

Speaker 6 (01:28:55):
We all have a water related once. Uh my bathtub,
the water start to drain slowly so it could pull
up like when taking the shower, and I have like
a plastic like drain snake thing that I use, and
I pulled out like a bunch of long hair. I
won't say who belongs to, but longer than mine.

Speaker 1 (01:29:20):
That name names. Yeah, I pulled a bunch out, and
God forbidually the toilet set up. God forbid the toilet
set up. God forbid.

Speaker 4 (01:29:28):
I leave a few butt hairs on the toilet seat, my.

Speaker 6 (01:29:30):
Bad, and I ran like hot water to kind of
like try to clean things down and break it down.
It pulled like several inches and it stayed that way
for I did this earlier today, so at least I
don't know, like an hour or so where the water

(01:29:53):
still hadn't fully gone down, And I don't know if
it's gone down now because I had to leave them here.

Speaker 1 (01:29:58):
Now, so I don't know. You drain o that thing? No, No,
I haven't yet.

Speaker 4 (01:30:02):
You say you should have told me, dude, I had
to buy Costco. Everything's in bulk. I've got an extra
giant jug that I'm never gonna eat.

Speaker 1 (01:30:09):
I always buy the giant jug and then it usually
comes in the packet too, and I'll just I'm sure
what both of them, don't care?

Speaker 4 (01:30:15):
Used one of them for piss. Sink had beard hairs
in it, so I had to drain that not long
ago and piss in it.

Speaker 1 (01:30:22):
Not to piss.

Speaker 4 (01:30:22):
I washed away the piss, but it had beard, so
I trained it. You know, because I'm lazy and I
don't actually clean up my beard hairs. I just wipe
them into the sink and flutch them down. But I've
got a whole extra drugged jair. Everybody does, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:30:36):
You hang on to your beard hairs and throw them
in the trash like you just put it down the
fucking sink and sink.

Speaker 4 (01:30:41):
Eventually, well adjusted people probably put them in the trash.
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:30:45):
So that's something I was to go back home to
deal with.

Speaker 4 (01:30:48):
Well, I hope it fixed itself for you.

Speaker 6 (01:30:49):
Yeah, hopefully has pick up some drain on, Yeah, pick
something up on the way home. Yeah, I thought it
was I was doing something good because I, you know,
stuff did come out of the drain.

Speaker 1 (01:31:00):
Yeah, but when I turned like hot water onto like
that was the one that tipping it up.

Speaker 5 (01:31:05):
And then like when it's pooling when you're showering, it's like,
now I can't pee in the shower. This is the
worst because I'm just standing in pee. I don't want
to do that. That's gross.

Speaker 4 (01:31:13):
You don't stand in pe you just peel on your phone.

Speaker 1 (01:31:15):
Pee on my feet And then it's like they're not
I'm not just sitting.

Speaker 4 (01:31:18):
You gotta kill the athletes somehow. Yeah, I'm not gonna
scrub my feet.

Speaker 1 (01:31:22):
That sucks pee on them. All right, let's wrap it
up with our answer segment.

Speaker 5 (01:31:27):

Speaker 4 (01:32:15):
Do you just answer the question?

Speaker 1 (01:32:17):
Why do just answer the question? Answer answer, don't thanks
the subject? Just answer the conk question, kept talking answer answers,
answer any questions all right.

Speaker 5 (01:32:34):
Our first question comes from Rebecca this week, and Rebecca says.

Speaker 1 (01:32:40):
How long is too long for an engagement to last?
At what point should you just elope or call the
thing off? I hope that first off, if you were
talking about a fiance of yours, this.

Speaker 4 (01:32:53):
Could get dangerous.

Speaker 1 (01:32:56):
Then this doesn't apply to that, because obviously you your
situation's fine. He seems like a cool dude, I think
because he's dating some of this is a podcast.

Speaker 5 (01:33:06):
How long is too long for an engagement? Have you
ever known anybody that's just been engaged for like four years?

Speaker 4 (01:33:10):
That's why I just texted my buddy. I don't know
if he's gonna get back to me in time to
ask how long they were engaged, because I know it
was just a few years, but it was like they
got engaged and then like pretty soon after she like
went to law school, and they were like, well, we
just we're just gonna stay engaged until she's done, Like
we want her to get a job and actually have
some money before we because it's situation money on a

(01:33:31):
wedding wall. She's in law.

Speaker 5 (01:33:32):
There are certain situations like that where it's like, yeah,
like if somebody's deployed, yeah, okay.

Speaker 4 (01:33:37):
Well usually deployed, they've fucking knocked that out so they
can get not everybody does it that way.

Speaker 1 (01:33:42):
I guess, yeah, you get the bennies with it.

Speaker 4 (01:33:44):
Yeah. I'd say, like normal situations, if there's no extenuation
three years max. Like if there's not anything like law
school that you're waiting to get through so then you
can pay for it after Yeah, all that stuff. I
think after three years, if you're still engaged and it's
just because you're engaging. You guys haven't just picked a
venue or all that. I think after three years you
need to just go to the courthouse and get it done.

Speaker 1 (01:34:04):
I think there are people that just like be engaged,
and I'm gonna see how long I can be engaged,
and just like you, like you're swept up in that.

Speaker 4 (01:34:11):
That's like you said yes, but you really weren't sure
about the person. So then you guys just keep dating,
but with a better title for years. Because you're not
sure about the person, you probably shouldn't be engaged if
you're not sure.

Speaker 5 (01:34:19):
Like some people, I think treated like the adult version
of giving a promise ring. We were like, see, no,
but I gave you a wedding ring. I gave you
an engagement ring. Like where we haven't scheduled that, Well,
all we gotta do is find the date. Well, you
know we every time we try and get done and
figure out a day, we know something something comes up.

Speaker 1 (01:34:34):
It's a wedding, Just schedule it. I got engaged December
of twenty twenty three, got engaged or got married in
September of twenty twenty four, so it was less than
a year.

Speaker 4 (01:34:46):
Like you guys have also been together for a decade.

Speaker 1 (01:34:48):
That's true, right, But like with ours, it was like
let's wrap it up, let's go all right, here's the
I did the engagement thing.

Speaker 5 (01:34:53):
Now let's go let's let's figure it out. And I
think that, like, yeah, timing is it's obviously very different
with everybody. I was gonna say, two years is a
long time to be engaged, like if you're over a year,
like I understand sometimes you like get engaged and like
the venue or whatever you book is over a year away,
because that's how venues are.

Speaker 1 (01:35:11):
I understand that. Like if it's gonna be longer than
two years, like what do you what are you waiting.

Speaker 4 (01:35:15):
On two years? You're probably right on threes.

Speaker 1 (01:35:17):
Two years, two years, I'm gonna say, is three is
that's three courthouse or breakup three? You should have to
like repropose.

Speaker 6 (01:35:25):
Yeah, I was gonna say three years, three years like
absolute backs, Like things need to be figured out by then.

Speaker 5 (01:35:30):
Do they have like they should have an engagement shot
clock where it's like ah, shot clock, violation, you got
to redo all that's like give it the ring back,
but you can keep throwing.

Speaker 1 (01:35:39):
You gotta get a new ring.

Speaker 4 (01:35:39):
Now, like you just got to get another ring. At
that point, it's on the guy. If it's been three
years since the engagement and you haven't gotten married, I
feel like it's the guy dragging it.

Speaker 1 (01:35:48):
Oh, would say likely that would be the case.

Speaker 5 (01:35:51):
But yeah, you should have to at a certain point
if you've been engaged, Like so at three years, hey, yeah, redo,
the engagement doesn't count anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:35:58):
You can't say fiance. Sorry, it's the rules.

Speaker 4 (01:36:00):
I think I've told this before my buddy when he
got engaged and then when he got her the wedding ring.
The wedding ring, you know, normally it's just a gold band.
He got diamonds all over that too, because he didn't
you know, I didn't know there's a difference.

Speaker 5 (01:36:11):
Well, but if you've ever bought, if you've ever bought
an engagement or a wedding ring.

Speaker 1 (01:36:14):
They don't always tell you that.

Speaker 5 (01:36:16):
They don't always say that like, well, yeah, this one
matches that, and it's like there's actually four of them
that match it, but they're gonna give you the most
expensive one to do that, and like they'll know your
price range, like well see this one is like oh,
that's just kind of like so they're all like, oh,
this one is most people go like, what is that one?

Speaker 1 (01:36:32):
Let's go with that one.

Speaker 4 (01:36:33):
I remember I told him that. I was like, dude,
it's supposed to be a band. He was like, what
was like, you never noticed your fucking mom's wedding ring
didn't have diamonds?

Speaker 5 (01:36:39):
All nave does the band, but then you can also
do the one band or the two bands. And they
always try and say you in the two bands. And
I was like, you know what, that's a that's a
great anniversary gift. Maybe I'll come back next year and
get her the nice one.

Speaker 1 (01:36:51):
They're like, oh, that's a good idea, fantastic, and I
was like, shut up, I'm not coming back to do that.

Speaker 4 (01:36:56):
Yeah, he never had to have a big wedding though,
so he saved on that smart.

Speaker 1 (01:37:00):
But yeah, if you're buying wedding and they're not like,
this will save you some cash, I don't ever do that.

Speaker 4 (01:37:05):
He did judge his office wedding boom get it done,
so I think he had a little bit of extra
spend on this.

Speaker 5 (01:37:12):
But yeah, it is not as easy to tell that
you don't need the diamond one when you're looking. They
don't make that well known at all. They don't make
that well known at all. That's a good question, Rebecca, though,
But so like three years is max? For max at
three two, I'm getting suspicious.

Speaker 4 (01:37:29):
Yeah, I hope I didn't cause reading't cause the problems for.

Speaker 5 (01:37:32):
Obviously, if this is your situation, we were just kidding.
We're just normal, we're just joshing around. I'm sure you're
doing great, Rebecca Courthouse. It's cheap, cheaper. Andrew Alderman writes
in and says, is anyone still making new ragtime music?

Speaker 1 (01:37:48):
I was gonna say, no, Hello my baby, helloam my lady,
Hello on my rag time.

Speaker 4 (01:37:52):
Yeah, I'm sure somewhere in Asia they are, because you
always hear about like pockets of like Japan where they're
like really into fifties greaser style and it's like a
whole movement over there.

Speaker 1 (01:38:01):
Yeah, you've never heard about stuff like this.

Speaker 4 (01:38:04):
No, there's like.

Speaker 1 (01:38:04):
Not really up to date on Japanese culture. I had
to do that.

Speaker 4 (01:38:07):
The internet's a wild place where you just come across
random shit. Yeah, I'm sure there's somewhere over in Asia
that we're like, yeah, we're into the rag time. We
wear zoot suits, like.

Speaker 5 (01:38:16):
Rag time is just like pianoy. Like like if you
ever if you're in the saloon, you walk into the saloon,
they're playing rag time music.

Speaker 1 (01:38:24):
Get the old piano.

Speaker 4 (01:38:26):
The dude dressed up in a cuffed shirt and a
vest has a sweet mustache like rolly fingers.

Speaker 1 (01:38:33):
Is a musical stuff noted for syncopated or ragged rhythm.
All right, cool.

Speaker 4 (01:38:39):
Basically I feel like it's like piano jazz, maybe with
some trumpets and shit in there.

Speaker 1 (01:38:44):
Yeah, that's absolutely what it's like.

Speaker 5 (01:38:45):
No electric I would have said it's like Western jazz
or like Western music old timey.

Speaker 1 (01:38:50):
Before country was a thing.

Speaker 4 (01:38:52):
It was just the western, not the country in Western.

Speaker 1 (01:38:54):
Yes, there's Western music.

Speaker 5 (01:38:56):
There's a musical called rag Time, which I'm assuming is
about that.

Speaker 1 (01:39:01):
When was that made? That must be the most It
was debuted in nineteen ninety six. It's still going on
you know where they're probably going on Broadway. So yeah,
there's people and it probably has new songs.

Speaker 4 (01:39:12):
Probably in Canada. They seem like they're way behind us
in culture, but Canada doesn't deserve rag time. Yeah, but
like they're just I mean they call it leaf time. Omit.
They haven't even discovered Kirk Cobain.

Speaker 1 (01:39:23):
Yet they're like, fucking they have no idea about Nirvana,
no clue.

Speaker 5 (01:39:28):
Yeah, yeah, somebody's still doing rag time. We just don't
really know about it because it's not as popular anymore.
You know, it's always Benson Boone. What's Chappelle roan to him?
But you never you know what you never heard about?
Who's your favorite ragtime musician?

Speaker 4 (01:39:41):
Obviously Tom Bryer, he's alive now, he's still making rag time.

Speaker 5 (01:39:45):
I was more of a Shep Edmunds and Scott Joplin
guy myself. But you know what you didn't hear is
you didn't hear Shep Edmunds or yeah you never heard
Shep Edmunds like getting a security guard to go rough
up a kid that saw him at a breakfast buffet
at a hotel.

Speaker 4 (01:40:00):
They wanted that. Ragtime musicians want the fans to come
up to them because guess what, they got a tip jar.
You know what.

Speaker 5 (01:40:04):
Jesse Pickens, the famous rag time musician, he was never
like fuck them kids, like get them out of my face,
even though you pay the bills because you come listen
to all my rag time music.

Speaker 1 (01:40:15):
He never did that. So maybe pop music's out and
rag time needs to come back in hell yeah, hell yeah,
hell yeah. Great question, great question Andrew. Andrew hasn't written
in a minute, and I'm.

Speaker 5 (01:40:26):
Happy that he did, because welcome back. I think we
accomplished a lot there. All right, what do we got now?

Speaker 4 (01:40:33):
All right? Next one is from Joshua Tree Caddle at
Joshua Tree seven one to three power Ink The five
best Sweet sixteen mascots.

Speaker 1 (01:40:42):
Okay, so this isn't we usually say five similar related
things because it's a Sweet sixteen question. I sent Robert
basically because I figured Pat would know the mascots. So
Robert all sixteen of the mascots that are available, as like, hey,
you're gonna have to rank these to pick five. I
I don't know if you want to see my list.

(01:41:03):
I have all sixteen ranked first to sixteen, but Robert,
I want you go first. These are all mascots that
are currently in the Sweet sixteen.

Speaker 6 (01:41:11):
Okay, Number five I'm going the Spartans, number strong, number four,
Blue Devils, number three, Cornhuskers, two Wolverines, and number one
I have to go Cougars.

Speaker 1 (01:41:29):
Okay. I not gonna lie and think about Cougars because
you did go to u H that makes sense. I
feel like I thought Wolverines and Hawkeyes were going to
be your one two just because of the superheroes. I
considered it, but naha, okay, all right, Pat, You're next.

Speaker 4 (01:41:47):
All right? Yeah, So like I'm reaking it just off
of just like the coolest mascot names and everything, because
like I hate some of these schools, right, but like
I love the Cougars. There's a lot of Cougars out there. Agreed,
It's not necessarily the coolest one out there. So I'm
gonna go, uh. Five, the Hawkeyes. That's a really cool,
unique one. I like that one a lot. Four We're

(01:42:10):
gonna go Wolverines. They're awesome. Three Cyclones, uh, two Razorbacks
and one corn Huskers.

Speaker 1 (01:42:18):
That's an awesomelid. That's a solid list, slid list. All right,
I have five? Well, what would you guys say would
be the least you have? A least favorite? And why
is it? The Crimson Tide. Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:42:31):
I mean like it's unique, but it's not that cool.
The Fighting a Line Eyes. Yeah, like I feel like
I should like the Fighting a Line I buy my criteria.

Speaker 1 (01:42:39):
I just don't Fighting a Line Eye, boiler Makers and
Crimson tied with my bottom. Three just is like, fuck,
y'all's blue.

Speaker 4 (01:42:44):
Devil's way down there, Like there's something devil I don't
hate like everyone does. I just don't like it.

Speaker 1 (01:42:49):
It's just like we're blue. I fucking hate Duke, but
we're blue. So five, I have cyclones. That's sick forrest Spartans,
because Spartans are awesome. Three Red Storm What is that?
I don't know? Like it makes you think of Jupiter,
and they're always like, don't go there, the red storm.
They will fuck you up, so like I don't. I

(01:43:09):
don't know. But the question about it, though, what is this?
Scares me a little bit, which makes it a badass name.

Speaker 4 (01:43:16):
Red storm also seems like it could just be a
syendonym for christms untide.

Speaker 1 (01:43:21):
Well, that's about Christmas. Tide is already pretty obvious with
the tides the water. This is a storm. It's a storm.
It's a storm. Yeah, the tyck. Are you scared of
a tide? I'm not.

Speaker 5 (01:43:28):
I'm gonna land storms. I'm scared of a storm for sure.
I have Wolverines at two. And then one is Razorbacks.
Razorbacks is so sick. Razorbacks is such a sick name,
and it's a fucking hog. It is just a hog.

Speaker 1 (01:43:40):
But it's like that's a way cooler name than hog.

Speaker 4 (01:43:43):
Bobby. The Razorback jokes.

Speaker 5 (01:43:45):
Like hogs would be a cool name for a team.
Razorbacks is just hogs on steroids and it rocks.

Speaker 4 (01:43:50):
Like the Commanders should just be the red Hogs.

Speaker 1 (01:43:53):
Do you know what their chance is? Robert at Arkansas,
it's woo pigs to it.

Speaker 4 (01:44:00):
It's awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:44:01):
It's such a I don't know what suey even means
because pigs go like it's like, is that really what
it is?

Speaker 4 (01:44:07):
Like it's kind of like when they squeal. I think.

Speaker 6 (01:44:10):
I think I always thought it was like a like
a calling, like like you know, like a here boy
for a dog. I always thought a farmer calling a pig.
They would they say that.

Speaker 4 (01:44:19):
Oh, I thought it was a playoff of like Suey,
just like the squeals that hogs made. I don't know,
maybe in Arkansas, who knows?

Speaker 5 (01:44:28):
All right, So yeah, those are our power ranking of
the Sweet sixteen mascots.

Speaker 1 (01:44:35):
Go Coogs, Go.

Speaker 4 (01:44:36):
Go Coogs, or if not the Cooks, then go Huskies.

Speaker 1 (01:44:40):
Yeah, I all said, Yukon, had you conn as well,
I had Florida. I had Florida Yukon with the two
that if picked. But yeah, we're all on Yukon now.
Next that we have Melanie f and Melanie says, where
do rocks come from? Your pee? Ever heard of kidney stones?
Kidney stones is a good one.

Speaker 4 (01:44:58):
I'm shocked. I've never had kidney stones.

Speaker 5 (01:45:00):
I think like mountains pressure the bigger rocks that aren't
rocks but like are made of rock like stuff, like mountains,
it chips off and it's like that's a rock now,
like boulders, which are just giant rocks. And then also lava. Yeah,
it's just like lava makes rocks pressed down on dirt
long enough, it becomes hard and that's a rock. And

(01:45:21):
then that's how mountains are made. And then the tectonic
plates push them up there when they fall off, and
then we see the rocks up top.

Speaker 4 (01:45:27):
I don't know. I'm not a geologist called Randy Marsh.

Speaker 1 (01:45:33):
He wasn't jealous before, dude, rocks come from geological processes
with an earth originating from molten magma, compressed sediment, or
transformed existing rock. We just nailed all of that, buddy,
Look at us science fucking let's go. I failed a
geology class in school, mostly because it was at eight

(01:45:56):
am and I never went. But the second time I
passed it with a B. And that's showing right now.
That's showing right now. Apparently I did remember some of it.
Mister Higgs would have fucking loved it, or Professor Higgs.
Shout out rocks, shout rocks, shout out rocks. Hell, yeah, dude,
look at us. This is a geology podcast, all right.
If anybody asks you, like, what is that fucking podcast,

(01:46:17):
it's a geology podcast, right, excuse me? Or you a
geologist as these guys are.

Speaker 4 (01:46:22):
I know one rock that came from Miami.

Speaker 1 (01:46:25):
Cocaine, the rock oh cocaine too, what to college cocaine,
as a lot of a lot of rocks came from
a lot of those.

Speaker 4 (01:46:34):
Uh oh, we could also say the Cia then.

Speaker 1 (01:46:37):
Yeah, yeah, all right, let's wrap it up with a question.

Speaker 5 (01:46:43):
Our last question of the week is from Jaqueline Bannon,
and Jacqueline says, what is the point of doing donuts
in the street with your cars?

Speaker 1 (01:46:49):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:46:50):
As someone who's not a car guy and not into
doing that stuff, because it just feels like a waste
of money because that you're burning and you have to pay.
They're pretty fucking sick.

Speaker 1 (01:46:59):
It probably feels sick doing that, right, I want to
do it because I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:47:06):
It looks sick as fun.

Speaker 1 (01:47:07):
It's probably sick. You see, this is the problem.

Speaker 4 (01:47:10):
It's if I hadn't seen the name beforehand, I would
know a woman's asking this question. Dude, brain, you just
see that. You're like, that's tight.

Speaker 5 (01:47:17):
It's just yeah, I mean it, like depending on where
you're doing it, because it's always are just like closing
down an intersection and do it. That's an asshole move,
but you probably do it because it feels sick making
a donut. You're like, don't do that in fucking in
the middle of where eybody else is trying to get
from point A to point B. Don't do it in
an apartment parking lot in the middle of the night.
Don't do it where a bunch of people are where
it's gonna annoy them. But like donuts, is doing donuts

(01:47:38):
probably sick.

Speaker 4 (01:47:38):
I do love the videos where it's like car meet
ups in a giant parking lot and it's a big
circle and a dude's doing donuts in the middle of it.
And there's always one dumb ass that just like walks
across not paying attention and gets drilled by the backside
of the car. Look, those are awesome videos every time too,
it because you get to be like a moron.

Speaker 1 (01:47:57):
Yeah, what is the point of it. There's not really
point except for that it probably looks and feels sick
when you're doing it.

Speaker 4 (01:48:03):
The point is, dude's wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:48:04):
I'm just trying to show off in front of your friends.
But also, dude, you'r assholes. So I think it's an
asshole move to do donuts, but it's also a cool
move to donuts.

Speaker 4 (01:48:10):
Yeah, like, but I mean, if you're doing it at
a set place where people are coming together to do
donuts and you're not fucking with other people, you're getting
in their way. Yeah, you're doing it in the middle
of the inter section. You're fucking show off, dickhead.

Speaker 1 (01:48:23):
Also, somebody to do donuts with the make the past
gave you lego If that's possible. I don't think you
can do that, but try to do that. That'd be sick.

Speaker 4 (01:48:31):
That'd be sick.

Speaker 1 (01:48:32):
You could do that all right. On that note, that's it.
That's our that's our pod.
