Speaker 3 (00:29):
Everybody's Past Gravy Episode six hundred and safety two. I
am your host, Alex the moon Dog Middleton, with my
co host Robert Barbosa aka the Hog aka Bobby Jokes
aka the Independent Variable, and joining us today. It's our
(00:50):
sun Dog friend, Pat Dian. How's it going?
Speaker 1 (00:52):
B Was my mic not muted until I say anything?
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Or is it always? No?
Speaker 4 (00:57):
It totally was. That was just that was a joke
just for me.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Pat doesn't wear headphones, so.
Speaker 5 (01:01):
No, no, they both coughed like right before we started.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
I liked when Curtis was on the podcast a couple
of weeks ago, like Pat was looking at Kurt like, yeah, right,
fucking crazy, Huh, I can't hear anything like you're not
wearing headphones either, one of your wear headphones usually Pat
the only one not wearing headphones, which you don't need
to wear headphones. I'm used to wearing headphones, so I do,
and then I can hear the mix a little bit better.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
Yeah, like I just don't hear the sounds, but I
uh see, there he goes again, this fucking guy profession
I had the cough BUTTONA.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
I have water.
Speaker 4 (01:32):
You ever water in your life?
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Huh?
Speaker 1 (01:33):
I'm on my third bottle water today.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
I had so much water today, So hydra, I.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Do three bottles of whatever this is. It's not kool Aid.
It's not cool Aid, A lot cooler if it was.
That's one of my favorite YouTube video ever, just burnt
Kreisher kool Aid. He's just drinking like one of your
water bottles, Robert of kool Aid, and they're like yeah,
(01:58):
so he's like this motherfucker's hydrated.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Shit.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
It's like no, it's all sugar, just sugar. They get
like two or three of these a day. Anyways, that's
not a podcast that we're doing. We're doing this podcast
and I had a couple of ideas to start off
the pre come separate with you guys are down, Uh,
we're gonna go with uh, let's go kidneys. So I've
(02:20):
been thinking about donating kiddy just for bragging rights, because
like I think you can probably get out of anything,
Like you get pulled over the officer. I've donated a
kidney before and they're like, fuck, I guess you get
a warning, dude, Like.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
I don't know if it extends to all of that,
but like I feel like any argument, Like, dude, I
donated a kitty to somebody.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Dude, I saved a life, and you're like, all right.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Good argument.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
See I could never because the giants.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Suck, Like I donated a fucking kidney, man, Yeah, and
then the karma for my team's has to be through
the roof.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
You would think so.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
But also then if your teams do badly and you
drink to uh cover up the pain, you only have
one kidney to filter out all that shit. So like,
I could never. I would die if I donated a kidney.
My body would not be able to process the amount
of alcohol going through it anymore.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
I donated plates the other day, see what, I'm a hero,
and I was like, I could donate a kidney. I
was trying to think, like, what wouldn't I donate? And
I was like, I could donate sperm. You donating plasma
used to do that for twenty five bucks. That was sick.
What do you think you could get for a pinky?
Who is there a market for pinkies? No, that's not
(03:27):
all for It's got to be like organs. And I
was like, I could do like kidney's probably as far
as i'd go.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
Why why I'm still like, I know, I don't I
want to do kid anything that you have to open
me up.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
But that's why I was thinking.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
I was like, do you know how much like like
any argument we ever get in if I'm I donated
a kidney, They're like, it's just a better person than me. Fuck,
I could do anything, and I'm still a better person
than a lot of people because I saved life.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
I donate hair.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
I donated hair.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
That seems pretty easy. Ha, Yeah, to regrow out the
mullet you should and just to donate it. Shot to
our our buddy Raymundo heated his hair. Not that blocks
of love. Guys that do that, Yeah, it's just for them.
It's just for the kids, and you know the people
that need it.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
People just show up with a bag of hair.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
They crown upon that, like, where.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Where'd the hair come from? Don't worry about it.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
The same thing I always say that about blood.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
I'm like, it's like cool, if I can, I can
just bring you my own blood there, like, no, we
don't need you to bring us buckets of blood. Stop,
it's not bringing his buckets of blood. And no, it's mine.
I swear where this hair come from. I promise you
it's not my ass.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
You don't have red hair, don't worry about it.
Speaker 5 (04:37):
My beard was really long and it was straight past
this length, So just trust it's my hair.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
It's a beard hair wig.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
That's all I could do.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
That would be weird.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
But then again, like, who's gonna like nobody? Little kids,
they're the only ones.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
That with hair this curly.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
That's true.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Seth Rogen. Maybe could donate my chin hair his head.
I could donate leg hair like people that are like
I wish my arms and legs with leg hair. I
could fucking help out with that.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
What's your leg hair situation? Like you kind of like
got blonde hair yet long hair. You don't really have
a lot of leg hair, Okay, yeah, it just doesn't
show as much.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Yeah, it used to be blonder.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
Now it's just like it doesn't show because I keep
my legs covered because I am Casper White, I.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Got pre average leg hair. Er with's your leg hair situation? Like,
this is fun topic we're talking about.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
I always say I would be way hairer if I
was skinny. It's just my fatness spreads it out so much.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
We don't have like Greek hare. None of us have
like the like Greek man.
Speaker 5 (05:34):
No I work with a Greek guy. Yeah, it's everything
they say it is. He's fucking hairy as shit's crazy.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
He's getting like rand Like do you have that like
line that's like right by your spine that's just out
of nowhere?
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Like where does that?
Speaker 3 (05:46):
How?
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Like how does hair grow there? Like why does that happen?
Speaker 4 (05:49):
My favorite was back of the day.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
He used to be banging one of our other waitresses
and I used to give her shit all the time,
a big so you just have to pick his hair
out of your teeth or like what's the situation?
Speaker 4 (05:59):
Jesus as funny.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
As probably not?
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Probably not?
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Yeah, maybe I would donated a kidney just to like
brag and like put the good carm out there.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
Maybe start with something else, don't start with the kidney.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Well, yeah, the platelets, platelets crush. I donated bone Mara
before that sucks. They really got a stab for you.
You're I should brag about it more than I.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
You took a needle into your bone.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Into my bone to see the marrow.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
I may that was just like to do it right.
It wasn't even for a specific person.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
I had a friend that so I had a friend
that had passed away and needed needed bone marrow transplants,
and it was like after they passed away. I saw
the thing on campus one.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Day and I was like, I'm gonna be a good person.
And I did it, but I didn't brag.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
About it enough.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
You're better than me because I want.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
I didn't even get a shirt. They just gave me
like snacks.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
I know it hurts a lot, and I don't.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
It really was not fun, probably less painful than like
a kidney one thought drugs.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Yeah, this they just literally stab you in the hip bone.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
I want to be like, what is my most how
healthy are my kidneys? Let's see that first and then
maybe I'll give one up.
Speaker 5 (07:07):
Yeah, I didn't even think about that. I don't think
they would take my kidney. They would pull it out
and be like, this isn't even healthy enough to put.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Back in you? Yeah, we're gonna have to keep this
so you have a drastic life change coming and I
don't think you're ready for We're going to send this
to that body's exhibit and this is like what not
to do with you? Can we give this to science?
Speaker 1 (07:26):
This needs to be studied.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
That's gonna be the funniest part is I am an
organ downer. It's on my license. If anything ever happens,
they're not going to get to use any of them.
It'll be like one last brank. Yeah, maybe my brain.
Your brain should definitely be studyed.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
I don't know why they'd want my brain, but they
could have it. Your brain could be studied, for sure.
Other thing I had I had an idea for a
food review channel. We should start. I don't know if
I want to start it, but I think I mean,
I don't trust Robert to start because Robert still we're
waiting on our chair reviews and we've not gotten any
chair reviews. Hunk pat if that you said you were
(08:01):
reviewed stuff and haven't done it before.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
So yeah, but what did I say? You don't remember
what I was gonna I don't.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
It wasn't as memorable because the cherry of you was
perfect as one to four legs. So it's right there, Robert,
and all you gotta do is sit. It's the easiest
thing you could document. I had a funny one was, uh,
it's food of views, but it's just baseball cards. Like
you just eat baseball cards like like you know, I
just saw like those TikTok guys are like we're rip
(08:28):
packs today.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
We're ripping some packs.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
So oh, I got a Jose Cantsako was like, it'd
be funny if you're just like, all right, today we
whipping up the nineteen eighty nine Don Russ MLB case
and uh Ken Griffy Junior rookie. Mmm, it's a little
papery kind of stale. Now we're gonna go to Andrew Jones. Ooh,
(08:50):
and Andrew Jones rookie. U not as not as savory
as the King Griffy one. And it's just you taking
bites out of cards, which is just the bit is
over fast. But it would just be like, right today
we're reviewing a cow or Billy ripkin and the fuck
face bat card. Take a bite. It's like one bite.
(09:11):
Everybody knows the rules. Do like Dave Port and I I.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
Think you're gonna sit on this for about four years
till Ella's in school. There's always one kid in class
that just won't stop putting it in his mouth mm hmm.
And then like whenever you visit Ell at school, you
just bring that kid some baseball cards.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
No, I mean I could eat I could eat some
baseball cards, just take one bite out of a couple,
and then you just bank it.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
Yeah, but you're doing it. It'd be better if the
kid's doing it, because he's just doing it for love
of the game.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
But just like reveal, then you secretly film a child
and then you profit off of him.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
Right here, he's gritty.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
That's probably you should just get Kim Scataboo to do it.
This dude, he definitely moved. Yeah, that guy eats cardboard.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
But yeah, you have celebrity card eaters with you. What
if we start this change Tataboo.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
After each concussion, he just eats a new card so
he can actually taste pictures.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
And I'll just be card chef. That'll be my name,
card Chef.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Stay across the room, just trying to flick him into
his mouth.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
I think that will work on Phil.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
This will uh, you guys will get an update about
what's going on with Alex a little bit later on today.
But I uh, I don't know as far as Alex's
ideas go. I feel like it's not the worst one,
but it's it's not great. It's down there. It's in
the bottom five percentile.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Definitely. Yeah, eating a basebook card, everyone would be the
same one.
Speaker 5 (10:31):
I'm happy he left the room because sometimes it's it's
nice to see the look on his face that he's
excited about something. But man, he's got his best work.
There's a reason that one came here and not to
the morning show. Yeah, So, I uh, I don't really
have anything huge for Preacon, but just you we have
wardrobe malth functions back in the news. Did you see
(10:52):
the guy at the Cubs game yesterday? I did not,
So there's a very fat, gentleman like and this is
coming from me. He's fatter the me, dumbier than me.
He had a whole road to himself, so I'm assuming
he probably smelled bad too. But foul ball goes over
towards him. He goes over to catch the ball, kind
of bobbles that it falls on the ground next to him.
(11:13):
He falls down on the ground next to it to
get it. Now, this guy's wearing shorts and in a
wild fat guy move, he's not wearing any underwear. His
pants fall down to the back of his knees. Thank god,
we didn't get a front of you full ass on
camera at on the brodcle game on on the broadcast. Yeah,
the broadcasters went silent for a good thirty to forty
five seconds afterwards, which means, you know, they just had
(11:36):
to mute their mics and were like, I want the
camera view of inside the broadcast of what was happening.
Then this guy had ultimate gross fat guy ass.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
But sometimes that's not even like inappropriate. You know, you're like,
nobode is appropriate.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
Like you feel bad for the guy because you're like, ah,
everybody in America just saw.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Your ass, and everybody that knows you is going to
roast you.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
Yeah, like you're all your Larry, you don't wear underwear.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
That's gross, l Larry the ass guy over here he has.
Speaker 5 (12:08):
A fat guy The non underwear part of this is
the wildest thing wearing it, And maybe it just is
if he was wearing one underwear. Who's wearing the loosest
underwear of all time because his pants just went straight
down to the back of his knees. Yeah, and I
say pants, it was shorts. Which also, what dude, if
you're that fat and you're wearing shorts, they gotta have
some elastic left in them. You can't just be wearing
(12:28):
no elastic. No one underwear shorts out in public is
a fat guy.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
That's why I like girls always a golden You need
to get new underwear, you know, And then you're like, no,
it's been fine for a decade. It's not gonna let
me down. It does, and then you just throw that
one away.
Speaker 5 (12:40):
I get new underwear when all of a sudden there
are holes under my balls and my thighs are rubbing
together and have rubbed holes in the bottle, Like once
and honestly only, I'll deal with the holes for a while.
Once my balls are just freely hanging and not touching
underwear anymore, that's when those get thrown away.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
It's annoying, Like I really like these jeans I'm wearing,
and I've got like I've worn like a hole into
like the pocket from putting stuff in my pocket where
it's like it looks really like fraid and stuff. I
don't know. You can see it on the thing. But like,
I'm like, I'm really scared that it's gonna ruin the
jeans eventually, but like, right now it looks cool. Ship
you ever just get the hole in the bottom of
(13:17):
the pocket. That's the worst, the bat the bottom of
the back pockets to the where she's Oh now, my
wallet's just gonna be gone if I forget about this.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
Oh see, I'm a side pocket guy. I can't do
back pocket. It feels too easy to pick pocket.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
I have no ass, I have no ass. So then
if you grab like, I'm gonna know because like, no no.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Ass, you have to reach further. Baggy jeans. Too easy.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
That's true, It's true.
Speaker 6 (13:40):
Yeah, I'm the front pocket guy myself, but only because
having the back back is bad for your back.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
But I got the little slim wallet, so it's not
as bad. Yeah, I used to be a George Castanza.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
I got thick.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Well, you know, I just and then I realized, yeah,
I'm just.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
I have my money clip in my briefcase.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
I got a bunch of old coins, and.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Yeah, you have a lot of coins. That's a big
coin guy.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
I got lucky coins.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
Man, you don't get rid of lucky You have any
idea how bad my life would turn if I got
rid of my lucky coin?
Speaker 3 (14:11):
I am on. We don't know.
Speaker 5 (14:13):
I'm pretty sure I'm on borrowed time already. But anyway,
wardrobe malfunctions back. If you guys haven't seen it, I'll
post it later.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
Just look it up.
Speaker 5 (14:23):
Just fat guy Cubs game ass. I guarantee you'll feel
bad for him, but you will also laugh as hard
as you've lasted in the last five years.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
I'll go to check it out.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
You wait, you haven't seen this yet either.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
I got to check it out. I haven't. I saw
that you talked about it. Oh my god. It's a.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
Probably my favorite baseball blooper that I've seen in years,
as far as crowd goes. Okay, yeah, I mean on
field ones are just a different level. High kids accidentally
like swatted the ball over the fence.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
Yet last week.
Speaker 5 (14:52):
You know, I'll say it's better than any on field
blooper I've seen in years. Either it's a fat guy
falling over and his whole butt falls out.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
That's class yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Yeah. If it's a gross spot, yeah, it's everything you
need for comedy right there. It's pretty perfect all right,
this is solid. I saw a pre come before my phone.
Rang I had to answer that. But do you guys
know that you can like store trauma in your body?
I was watching some like trash TikToker Real No, but
(15:21):
they were like, yeah, I found I did this stretch
and it released years of trauma for my body. And
I was like, is trauma like trauma is in like
bad stuff happened to you and you just store like
you store trauma in your hips and then be like, oh,
like there was this girl crying because she released trauma
from a hips from like a stretch. I don't know
(15:41):
if I believe this, if you and I I know that,
Like they're like, oh, your shoulders are tight because you're stressed,
and I guess it is stressed trauma sort of.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
No, is it supposed to be like trauma adjacent?
Speaker 4 (15:53):
No, it's just stress.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
See.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
Luckily you're the one that came across this video, because
if I did, I definitely would have left a calm
that Instagram would have been like are you sure you
want to leave that comment, and then it would have gotten.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Into I have a video I need to send to
you because I need you to just get in the
comments on this one, and it's the girls doing like
a workout class, but they're bouncing on these jumpy shoes.
It's like she's jumping around and it's always the song
is the tap tap tap tapping. God damn it, they
fucking called me right now. Hold on, Phil, you know
(16:23):
where guy's going with that. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (16:27):
No, you cannot store trauma in your body. That's absolutely
ridiculous new age bullshit.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
I don't know. I kind of believe it.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
I don't know exactly, Like, Okay, where do you store
the twenty seventeen cheating scandal right right in my heart?
Speaker 4 (16:41):
That's that's not a thing. It's not a thing.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
I fully understand that not everyone in the world should
think like me, and should their brain should not work
the way my brain works. We as Frankly, I don't
think we'd make it as a society if everyone thought
the way I did. But I also fully believe that
people like this should be in a gulag somewhere. Like
if you think you're I'm an mpath I'm so in
(17:05):
tune with everything in my body. No, I had childhood
trauma and I store it in my right o bleak,
And when I get the right stress, a stretch, it
really releases it out and then I'm able to release that.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
No, it's in your fucking head. It's all memories.
Speaker 6 (17:21):
What do you think about like people, I feel I
can tell that it's rain, it's gonna rain because I
feel it on my knees.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
What is that?
Speaker 4 (17:30):
I actually buy that.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
What is that?
Speaker 5 (17:31):
It's arthritis and it's uh pressure, Well, it's pressure drops
and the temperature drops in the air that can actually
affect your body.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
That is a physical output of.
Speaker 5 (17:42):
The world happening, and your joints and shit can swell
and feel stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
That makes sense.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
Mental trauma, it's all in your head. Does not look
see And I was about to trap myself right there,
because you can't mentally get hypochondriacs and shit like that.
But you're not storing A little boy pantched you in
third grade and you forgot about it for twenty years
until you popped your neck and all of a sudden
you had a spiritual awakening.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Though that's bullshit, and then you start all the emotions
come flooding out.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
You start crying. No, I've been holding onto that for years.
Speaker 5 (18:16):
God, I hate emotions so much. I don't understand people
whose brains work that way.
Speaker 6 (18:23):
Speaking of emotions, I'm sure Alex is gonna come back
to this. But so, there was a couple of days
ago there was a Pokemon Go championship, a regional championship.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Did you see it?
Speaker 4 (18:34):
I saw this.
Speaker 6 (18:35):
This was infuriating, and the guy who won was disqualified
because he celebrated too hard. But the clip of him
celebrating is like nothing.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
He like lightly bangs his hands on the table. Fucking
nerds dude. Even the guy who ended up winning was like,
this doesn't feel right, like he should have He should
have forfeited the win, and everyone down the line should
have forfeited the winter.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
It went back to the guy that they disqualified. Fucking
Pokemon nerds dude.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
Pokemon dude, what's going on with Pokemon? What are we
talking about?
Speaker 4 (19:07):
Oh, don't there?
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Yeah, I know, I fucking I'm I not cool. It's
gonna be fun.
Speaker 5 (19:13):
No, there was a guy that won a regional Pokemon tournament,
Pokemon Go tournament, and they disqualified him after he won
for celebrating too hard, and all he did was go
like yeah, like kind of hit the table, Like that's excessive.
Your discualf that's ridiculous. Fuck it just the passification of America.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
Dude. I want to where he's gonna store that trauma.
That's really what I was getting at with the trauma storing,
Like I just want to say, like, now, if you
can just I have trauma stored in my ankle.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
It's like anything that's sore on me.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
I'm just gonna be like, oh, I got a lot
of trauma in my lower back.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
I can't come into work today.
Speaker 5 (19:46):
I popped my elbow and it released a bullying incident
that happened in the third grade.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
I really need to process through.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
That, which I don't understand, so that you stretch and
then like all of your trauma comes back, so then
you cry about it because you had trauma or you
were releasing it. I thought, yeah, I thought you were
releasing it's gone. Why I didn't understand the like trauma
released thing. There's I need that woman in a goolog
who made that video. She doesn't need to be unleased
on this world anymore. I've watched a lot of scrubs,
but I just don't know about like trauma being stored
(20:15):
in like in your hips and stuff. But if you
have story or tight hips, be like trauma stored there.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
Be careful if you stretch them.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Though, this lady cries a lot when she's like, I'm
releasing years of trauma and years of this.
Speaker 5 (20:28):
So, like I said to Robert, I don't think we
need more people like me in this world, but we
definitely need less people like that.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Yeah, it's like sometimes there's people who are like I understand,
like embracing, like who you are and this is what
I am, this idiot, And it's like a certain point.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
Like just go talk to somebody.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Don't no, don't or or do or do don't get
on that GPT, but like go see somebody and talk
to somebody and then be like hey, and maybe they'll
tell you like don't do that. Hold that shit inside,
internalize it, swallow. Well, that's where you store the trauma.
And your trauma gets stored into your gut.
Speaker 5 (21:02):
And guess what, nobody else will ever have to know
about it, because no, you won't ever have to tell
anyone that you think your trauma is stored someone.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Oh, you should start saying it.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
I'm not overweight. I have a lot of trauma stored
in my gut. I don't that's.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
But then say that though I say that you do.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
A pretty sick fucking life.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
I'm gonna be honest, but be like, I have a
lot of trauma stored here.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
I got no stress.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
It's not my eating habits. It's trauma.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
This isn't the five l pastor tacos that I had
for lunch and.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
The six beers I had with it.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
It was the time my mother and then the ice cream, yeah,
which I stored here, and then obviously that became a
bigger thing.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
I don't know, I understand.
Speaker 5 (21:38):
I don't have high cholesterol. My mom subbed to shove
the bar soap in my mouth one time.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Yeah, it's weird.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
The trauma from sometimes is I'm not saying it's not
a real thing, but there's times that like you had
trauma because your mom took away your matchbox cars when
you're a little kid.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
I think that's not real trauma or child to be that.
Speaker 5 (21:58):
We did a twenty year where we just outlawed therapy
in America. I think we we would just we we'd
be back at we We'd go to Mars like we
would do so much better. We would probably go like
around Marsh we would know, we would know, we would
actually live. That's how if everyone just shut the fuck
up about their problems and stopped putting them on other people.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
You think you think that's fair to therapists. They got
to listen to other people problems.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
I do because they make a lot of money.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
They do make a lot of money. But you know
it's not a real job.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
No, it is not a real problems aren't real problems.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
No, Because I think there's therapy that people use in
a way where you find what triggers whatever your issues.
Physical therapy, that's real, physical therapy, real. I hurt my ankle,
do this stretch ankle better? Now?
Speaker 5 (22:41):
When's the last time you saw somebody who, like I
went to therapy and they fixed me. And I don't
see my therapists anymore. Like, no, I've had the same therapy.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
No, I know people that have done that. I know
a couple of people that have done that. And I
also think that you don't need to have it. It
doesn't need to be a until the end of time situation.
It's like, hey, I can go check in when I
need to, and sometimes you gotta get through certain stuff.
But I think that there's definitely why am I like,
if I have an anger problem, why do I get
mad when the giants are losing? Where I have to
scream at my TV when I could just shut the
fuck up and not scare anybody?
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Okay, why do I feel that way?
Speaker 3 (23:09):
But it's like because it's out of your control acts
and so then I have to realize it is out
of my control. How do I address that? And it's
like little triggers that then help you become better. That's
healthy though, But I know, but that's like a therapist
would help you walk through a lot of those things.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
Or why do you feel that way? What makes you?
Speaker 3 (23:21):
And like find the trigger or the origin of that stuff,
and then I feel like you find it and then
you work on yourself. But I think like if your
mom was made to you when you were a little kid,
and you get to the bottom of that, I don't
know if you need to go talk about your mom
being made to you seventy five more times. I think
that you can still work through it. And you're like, hey,
I need to talk, can you can? Can you meet
this week and then you can go back and stuff
like that. But I think a lot of times people
(23:41):
like to just talk about themselves because sometimes they're lonely.
And I think there are people that are trying to
address certain things, but then they just get I think
sometimes some therapists, not all, are like just kind of
like chatgybt. If you talk it to chatgybt, I just
kind of gasses you up. It's like sometimes you're like, no,
you might be the problem. You need to work on this.
And the people that aren't in that, I think maybe
you aren't doing the best service because they know they're
(24:02):
gonna get returned customers, because ideally you do want to
be a therapist. It's like I don't want them to
have to come back see me every week. But then
if you're not coming to see me every week, I'm
not getting paid every week. And you had to find
the people that aren't trying to like profit off of that,
and I don't think most of them are, but I
think there are something that do. I think bursts of
anger are good, Like that's what sports are for. You
let it out something you care about, You let it
out getting mad at the waitress at the restaurant is
(24:25):
and then yell in front of everybody.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
Everyone needs to get more people that have different things
you care about your team. You yell at the TV
when things go bad. Therefore you're not letting these outbursts
happen in a restaurant in other places. You gotta let
the anger out, but you gotta find healthy ways to
do it, and yelling at a TV is about the
healthiest way you can let anger out, as long as
you don't say, I don't know, take your hat off
and throw it at your dad's brand.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
New TV and break it.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Use your words, not violence. I did break that TV.
You did. It was new. I hadn't gone. I had.
I had a lot of trauma. Store it in my
hand end of that day, in my hand that there
was a lot of trauma. It doesn't sound easier to
just be a victim and say I have trauma stored
in here than be.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Like, oh, I have tight hips.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
That's the problem because I sit in a chair all
day and I don't stretch. No, I had trauma. That's
where I stored these. So just remember if if you
have anything sore tight on you, it's trauma. So good
luck with that, all right. I don't know where I
was going. This really went off off the rail.
Speaker 4 (25:30):
We need another Irish president.
Speaker 5 (25:33):
Tell everyone to bottle it up inside and fucking stop
worrying about it.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
Robert, would you have for pre come segment it was
the pokemono thing while you were you were dealing with.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
My not cool Yeah, fuck, it's gonna be not cool
to just it's.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
It's a buck. It's it's it's it's given me a
lot of trauma right now. It's giving me a lot
of trauma. That's not cool. I'm gonna tell you all later.
We are doing a mock draft again this week. We're
gonna do a mock draft of Flags. We had to
check to see if we had done a mock draft
of flags. We've done two mock drafts this year that
we've already done, and none of them have been the
exact same. So shot to us for not remembering anything.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
Did you you checked that we hadn't done flags before?
Speaker 3 (26:11):
We have not.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
I think we just a power ranking of flags.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
We've done mock drafts so many times now we're like
to have we done I don't know.
Speaker 5 (26:18):
Like it's like I said to you, even if we've
done it before, if we don't remember it, then then
it's new again. Yeah, because we're gonna have different answers.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
We're not smart people.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
No, always evergreen topics. That's evergreen topics work. Okay, all right,
let's move on to the comeback kids segment and tell
you what's back according to us this week.
Speaker 7 (26:42):
It's the comeback kid. Comeback kid of the week, comeback
kid of the week, bitch.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
Our first comeback kid this week is Angel Reese. Angel
Reese is back, our girl, Nineteenth Amendment member or our girl,
our queen.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
Angel Reese was traded. I'm not a rece rider. You're
a rechrider.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
You support the nineteenth miments and she's probably the nineteen
seventy team. She's part of the team.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
No, I'm all about the team runs through her. The
team runs through.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
By the way.
Speaker 5 (27:17):
And yet now you you can't be a supporter of anymore.
Comments are coming back.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
Baby, Well for one year. I can now set them out.
Speaker 5 (27:26):
You you got to start rooming for the Connecticut Sun
because those are gonna be our players.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
No, no, no, I'm not room for Connecticut.
Speaker 5 (27:32):
Why not, You're already a Yankee fan. Connecticut fans are
New York fans, not all of them out half.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
They have red sex fans, so different.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
It changes either way.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
It's not good not a good look that.
Speaker 5 (27:45):
Uh, the girl that is your favorite player was such
a superstar that a team was like it was just
to get rid of her.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
It was a blockbuster trade. What are you talking about?
They got all kinds of draft picks and people for
them for her.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
And then pretty big Max and a uber no no,
And now she's she went from the Chicago Skuy to
the Atlanta Dream where she's pairing up with our girl,
Britney Grinder, another Nineteenth Amendment player, So like, really, the
Nineteenth Amendments is back, and be honest, I didn't know
Britney Grinder was still playing. Yeah, she's on the Atlanta Dream,
traded from the Phoenix Mercury.
Speaker 4 (28:18):
New Twin Towers of the WNBA.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
They call him the Twin Towers. Yeah, they're gonna landed
some towers.
Speaker 5 (28:22):
They're gonna get so many rebounds and then miss another.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
Show me bounds they call those meat bounds and they're
really good beneficial for your fantasy team.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
Are they going to hate each other? Are they going
to be each other?
Speaker 1 (28:33):
They'll be cohesive. They want a championship together, not a
year ago.
Speaker 5 (28:36):
But like their rebound numbers are gonna go Another tall
girl to steal them.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
Now you think, no, No, it's fine. The Land Dream
are going to be a fucking force a Chicago sky.
I don't even know what they're like that's gonna be.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
So did you place your future on him yet?
Speaker 3 (28:50):
I haven't yet.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
Actually our site that we use has been having some
issues the last couple of days, and I don't know
if they have a w NBA futures parket yet. Disrespectful,
It's that's what I thought. I thought it was sexist,
fucking patriarchy. Back at it again. Gave me a lot
of Traumata store. That's where my hipsters is. Trauma hips.
I hate you so much, but yeah, Andrew Raies is back.
(29:13):
Good to see her. Good to see her go in
some place that finally like appreciates her. You know, I
feel like Chicago is just dick as to her. And
it's like, now, finally Atlanta Basketball City.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
When I think Atlanta, I think the Dream.
Speaker 5 (29:27):
Maybe she'll play well enough to where she can get
some wings named after herself down there.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Oh I bet so, I bet so.
Speaker 5 (29:34):
Is there a famous male that'd be awesome if there
was a famous male strip club down there, like got
their own special wing. Those of you that don't know,
there's a very famous strip club in Atlanta that specializes
in wings and uh.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
Is it Lou Magic City?
Speaker 4 (29:49):
But no, it was Magic City. But who was the
best Williams?
Speaker 5 (29:52):
Lou Williams had lemon pepper wings named after him at
that strip club. Actually a little surprised that James Harden
doesn't have anything named after him there.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
He was may not they may not be as notable
of a strip club.
Speaker 5 (30:02):
But we need to petition the male strip club down
there to name something after Angel Reese. Maybe a dessert
Angel Reese's pie.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
Angel food or is it Angel food cake? But that's
cheap Angel Reese food cakee is on an Angel food cake?
Speaker 5 (30:20):
People buying cake at a fucking strip club, well, I
guess they wouldn't really be buying pie either.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
You eat some cake while you're looking at a cake.
You know.
Speaker 5 (30:30):
Actually, I think at a at a male strip club,
I think ladies would like to eat dessert while watching
them and dance. So we got to get in contact
with some people down there. We got some ideas.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
Yeah, Robert call their people, all right, let Angel, let
team Reese know we're on board.
Speaker 5 (30:44):
May you know what maybe they canna have like sid
sliders all right, because she looks like said the sloth.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
I don't know that. I don't know about that, but
Angel Reese's backshout out to her.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
Golf is back, The Masters is back this week, which
also is this is the Master's week, the biggest week
for pimeno cheese of the year.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
Without what else do you hear about it?
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Summer? Do you cele about your grandma's house?
Speaker 4 (31:13):
I mean, I see that thing.
Speaker 5 (31:14):
I think that the generation of people that ate penanal
cheese all the time, it's dying breed, isn't it mostly
dead breed? All my grandparents are dead, and I haven't
heard anybody talking to The only time you hear it
anymore is masters, and it's because it's man, we got
some trauma that it's.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
Where all the trauma comes from.
Speaker 5 (31:34):
But yeah, it's it. They're the only people that still do.
By the way, po cheese sucks. I've only had it
a few times in my life, and every time I've tried.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
It, I disagree.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
I always thought it sucked when my grandma would be like, here,
have some pimeno cheese. I don't fucking want plemeno cheese.
And then I bought some because it was the cheapest
thing they had. Do I need to try it again.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
I tried it and I was like, it's not bad.
I don't know why I hated.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
It so much.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
Maybe we'll have to make some homemade one.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
It was like picoda gayo.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
I was. I was an anti Peko guy for my
whole life, and then I just was like, let me
just have something. I was like, why was I that way?
It's one of those where you like, you put off
doing something and then you just I don't know.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
I mean, it tastes much change.
Speaker 5 (32:09):
I hated blue cheese as a child, mostly because I
could see mold in it, But I love blue cheese now.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
You just appreciate it differently you grow. I will say,
I think my feet over that trauma that you have
stood in your body, maybe you stretched or something.
Speaker 5 (32:20):
There is something that I saw today because today they're
doing the Par three h Championship or just Part three
contests Part three contest at the Master's Day, and it
gave me one of my favorite parts. And my ovaries
were glowing today that I saw the when people have
their like little two year old sons out there in
the full caddy, green hat, white thing. I saw this
little kid just like walking around out there, and I was.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
Like, I want one.
Speaker 5 (32:43):
Yeah, they're pretty cool baby. I was like, I want
a little buddy that can dress up like that. And
he looks all cute and stuff.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
And they start talking and saying words aren't words, and
you just know the language that's not real. I ain
gotta do that. We just play translator in our house.
Speaker 5 (32:56):
I was watching it at work with my boss and
I was like, that could probably poop in this band
right now.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Probably that cast they do. A lot of people don't
realize that.
Speaker 5 (33:04):
Kid doesn't even know what club he's grabbing. They had
the little kids raking the bunkers.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
Until your parents don't realize most of the time they
just have poop in their pants. That is ninety percent
of their life.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
They're just walking around a poo.
Speaker 5 (33:17):
Yeah, and they're just fine with it. It's just a
little kids don't tell you the problem. So unbothered, so unbothered,
not a not a bit of trauma.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
Little kids don't have therapists. Look at how well they're.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Doing, true, and when the therapists might not understand them
most of the time. Now, I gotta love your Dad
unprompted this week for the first time ever, and it
was the Leo meme where he cries you know he's
just sick.
Speaker 4 (33:44):
I thought you would have just went Johnny drama victory.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
It caught me off guard, like we were getting ready to
go to where she's grabbed my legs leve your dead.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
Dad, and I was like, what.
Speaker 3 (33:56):
I think about the best?
Speaker 4 (33:58):
They wouldn't get me a mum.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
I felt. Yeah, I was like crushed it, crushed it.
I did it. Kid loves me. Fucking got her, just
like I got your mom.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
Got you. You're really good at tricking women.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
I am.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
Tricking women into loving me. So yeah, those golf Golf's back.
Biggest Pimeno cheese are back. To try the Pimeno cheese.
Just go go to EGb and get a pimeno cheese.
Then they have like kilapeno pimeno cheese and rocks. Okay,
I'll get some crackers on some of that on the
way home. Yeah, it's a nice little, nice little treat.
(34:34):
Also back as Malcolm in the Middle. The reboot of
Malcolm in the Middle is Friday. Yeah, this Friday, this Friday.
Were recording on Wednesday, but it's the tenth it'll be out,
and I'm excited.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Robert's been rewatching the old, the old version of it.
It's pretty awesome.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
And I feel like like how it feels dated. It
definitely feels dated when you watch it is, yeah, it
is dated, but like but like sometimes but still good.
Like it like what data comes from, like you know,
cell phones and like tablets and whatever, but like otherwise,
like the comedy is still there.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
Comedy is still there's still there. And forgetting what was
a kid's show?
Speaker 3 (35:16):
I thought when I was growing up, It's like it
wasn't really a kid's show. It's just a sitcom that, yeah,
everybody watched. I just thought it was funny because kids
were in it.
Speaker 5 (35:23):
But I mean, Brian Cranston is a comedy genie. He's
really just a genius.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
In every action anything, he's great at it. But in comedy,
I think it's like it's his true calling. He just happened.
Speaker 5 (35:32):
It's like when Robin Williams did Good Will Hunting. We
all know he's comedy and that's his main lane, but
damn it, he can do serious too. And that's what
was Brian Cranston and breaking bad, like he can do it,
but any comedy role he's ever been in, it's just
like you look at him going, this is what you
were born.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
It's like Steve Krall doing the Timothy shallow May movie.
Oh yeah, like he's a beautiful boy or something like that.
Speaker 4 (35:53):
Just very good actors.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
Something that's not all I do. Okay, so watch it.
Speaker 5 (35:57):
Maybe it's just coulda be his comedy's my favorite and
that's what I and to lean towards everything.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
But just watching the.
Speaker 5 (36:02):
Parents slowly unravel every episode. Yeah, they can't deal with
their kids being absolute maniacs.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
I'm I'm excited about it. And I thought that they
had replaced Reese and Dewey. Robert told me that they
had just replaced Dewey and Reese just looks way different.
Speaker 5 (36:20):
Yeah, shocker, that's somebody that was a child actor might
look different twenty years.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
No. But it's funny though, Like how like McAuley culkin
looks like macaulay Culkin.
Speaker 4 (36:27):
That's true, is like weird.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
Frankie Munas looks exactly like Frankie Muna has looked Francis
the guy that played Francis.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
Is he a Masterson brother?
Speaker 3 (36:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:36):
Oh yeah, not problematic Masterson.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
I don't know, as old as the four obviously, Yeah, Francis,
that's right.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
Yeah, no, not the problematic one.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
Not the problematic one.
Speaker 4 (36:48):
I guess he choose to not look if he's also
in the Science.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
I mean, I know he was older than them when
they were doing the original one, but like he looks
the exact same. It's it's funny, how like when you
see baby pictures of your friends and stuff, you're like,
you've looked like that guy forever, like you have. I've
seen one of one of your baby pics that we
use for the Gravy Day posts, and it's like that
was Pat, just a little change, that was just Pat
with more hair. That was it. I feel like I
(37:11):
looked at exactly like I do now, just with very
varying degrees of like how long my hair was. Sometimes
there was like a weird two year period right out
a beard, and that was it.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (37:22):
I think I need to start my rewatch tonight. I
gotta start burning through it.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
And it's such an easy watch where I can miss
anything and I don't really care. Yeah, and then you're
just like, ha, now I'm gonna watch it again. I'm
gonna watches a dick. I'm gonna watch Francis come into
some Shenanigans with the weird captain Guy Hawl's gonna freak
out and yell.
Speaker 4 (37:42):
Around this underwear. The mom is gonna lose her mind
and scream it's great.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
It's yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
So shout at malcol in the Middle and those that
appreciate still, that is like one of those shows you
just don't really feel like you hear people talk about. Yeah,
there's not a lot of Malcolm in the Middle rewatches
that people say.
Speaker 6 (37:58):
Yeah, I was thinking about that too, Like I'm watching
with Sam Sam. Sam saw a few episodes growing up,
but not a lot, and so watching it now, she's like,
this is like one of my favorite shows ever. Like
she's really into like the comedy because we were talking
about because she she was a cable kid. They had
cable her place and like all the what was like Nickelodeon,
(38:20):
what's another one? Yeah, yeah, yeah, Disney, like all the
live action like they all had laugh tracks. Oh yeah,
so like kids were being told when to laugh, and
so when she saw Malcolm in the Middle and like,
where where am I supposed to laugh?
Speaker 1 (38:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (38:38):
Times, Yeah, I guess that is like it's like the
Office and people that don't like the Office, like, oh,
you don't like dry humor always, and sometimes people do.
It's not always mutually exclusive, but it's like, oh, you
were raised on that type of comedy, so you think
that's funny, and like people are raised on Rand and Snippy.
They think South Park is really funny, and I mean
South Park is funny regardless of who you are. But
(38:58):
when you find somebody's like that's what the therapists do.
They just get more interested in, like, what is your
sitcom origin? Okay?
Speaker 1 (39:04):
Found it?
Speaker 3 (39:07):
Oh you didn't watch it coms growing up? Oh that's
why you're miserable piece of shit? Okay, but have you
tried going back in time and watching something might make
you feel better? Have you tried watching more TV? I
think you might be a happier person. But yeah, shot,
I'm out go to the middle. It's back and I'm
stoked about it. Also back this week is Zamboni's Fuck Dude, Robert.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
Have you seen the Zamoth? I have not needed to
google the Zamoth?
Speaker 4 (39:31):
How did this take this long for somebody to do?
Speaker 1 (39:33):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (39:34):
It's exact same thing, and I fucking like, I don't
want to like the Utah Mammoth because I feel like
I want to call them the Mammoths every time. Utah
shouldn't have got a hockey team over Houston, Like Coyotes
had a way cooler logo. They could have still been
the Utah Coyotes and had all that stuff and just
just relocated.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
Every time they've done anything that.
Speaker 3 (39:54):
They put a whole fucking season is a different name
than they changed it. And I was like, goddamn it.
The jerseys look cool, the colors look cool. And then
last night they were like guess what or I think
they had the fuck They hatched a mascot and I
was like, hell, yeah, this rocks.
Speaker 1 (40:05):
And then last night.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
They're like, oh, by the way, I know we have
like four games left this season, but here's a new
zamboni we have. We used the two thousand and two
Salt Lake City Olympics zamboni that they used when we
lost a Canada in a fucking gold medal game. Kind
of jinksy if you ask me, because since we're like
the champs now, like back before we were the best
hockey country in the world, we had the Olympics in
Salt Lake City and they re used all that and
(40:26):
then they fucking just made it into a mammoth. They
like made a mammoth face, put it on the front
of the Zambodi. It's awesome. It's like a monster truck
Zambodi that just cleans the ice. If you don't know
who Zamboni is, that's what they sweep the ice up
with a lot of people. And we're in Texas.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
Yeah, it's one of those things.
Speaker 5 (40:42):
I said, it's so obvious, and it is, but it's
one of those things it's never been done, so like
obviously it wasn't obvious, but it's one of those things
that once you see it, you're like.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
Yes, put a big giant dinosaur on the fucking Zamboni.
Speaker 5 (40:55):
Bruins, make yours into a big bear. Basically, it'll look
like the mutt from the Mutmobile from.
Speaker 3 (41:01):
Dumb and Dummer from Dumb Dumber. Yet wings could have
the two wings on the side.
Speaker 4 (41:05):
Well that's I mean, it kind of needs to be
an animal mascot.
Speaker 3 (41:08):
But no, you could just have wings on the thing.
You can't a big red wing logo and that looks sick.
Speaker 5 (41:12):
Like the predators. Put two giant teeth on the front
of yours and make it look like Trump on the front.
It's just a giant Epstein head just going around the ice.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
They could change it. Whoever. The predator number one is.
Speaker 5 (41:27):
Now like everyone will say it's copying, but every team
that has an animal mascot has to do this.
Speaker 3 (41:32):
The Tenguins are just have a fat penguin. Great, the
flames would just be on fire.
Speaker 5 (41:38):
It's a fat penguin and they rig it to where
it like looks like it's waddling back and forth.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
Yeah, normally the Zambonis just have like the NHL just
have ads on them, and so I feel like that's
why teams haven't done that.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
But I like out to Utah. Utah hasn't done a
lot of the great things.
Speaker 3 (41:53):
To me.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
I don't really their owners coming out.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
I hardly know a lot about Utah.
Speaker 3 (41:56):
Honestly, I'm not gonna go to Utah unless I'm passing
through something. I've never really been like interested in going
to Utah. But I don't really know about a lot
about the Mormon Church. Soaking is an interesting thing that
they do. That's pretty much what I know about Utah.
I know they have wild horses. They just run free,
which is sick. That's kind of crazy.
Speaker 4 (42:15):
That's cool as shit.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
You really hear about that.
Speaker 4 (42:17):
Wild Horses America, more.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
Wild horses, But then they got the mammoth and it's
like a fuck, all right, No, maybe they did.
Speaker 1 (42:22):
Deserve a team, Maybe they did deserve a team.
Speaker 5 (42:25):
But now I'm also depressed because I'm like, that could
have been Houston's owner as well as say, were the
owners killing it right now?
Speaker 1 (42:31):
How much money and a fucking zamboni.
Speaker 5 (42:34):
He could be like a really bad owner for the
next five to ten years and he's built up so
much goodwill early it's gonna take a long time of
him being a bad owner before people start.
Speaker 3 (42:43):
Calling him on it. Yeah, they could make They're probably
gonna make the playoffs with like eighty points, which is
insane because five other teams would be in the playoffs
way ahead of them if that were to happened.
Speaker 5 (42:53):
But whatever, Hey, all that matters is when you're young franchise,
you just and granted they're just carried over from a
different but name new franchise.
Speaker 1 (43:01):
And that's probably what it is.
Speaker 3 (43:02):
That's probably what it is, because I feel like the
Vegas Knights do some weird shit, but that's mostly just
like in between periods they have like all the Vegas entertainment.
So you're like, we can be weird. We're Vegas, and
it's like, if you're a newer franchise, just be weird.
We don't find like, oh, the original six teams would
never do Okay, fine, you're not an original six team.
Just be the have a fucking mammoth that sweeps your
eyes like have that. You can be weird, but you
(43:23):
gotta be good too. That's the main thing weird and
not if you're in Utah is I don't know how
much they really care about their team.
Speaker 5 (43:30):
What if they're Zamboni it was just made to look
like a giant bed that shook from underneath.
Speaker 3 (43:36):
That'd be crazy because like if you look at it,
like the teams that have like gimmicks like that.
Speaker 1 (43:41):
Vegas is good usually in hockey.
Speaker 3 (43:43):
And a hun can just have a giant but like
the Diamondbacks, nobody gives a fuck about the Diamondbacks, like
we'll have a pool.
Speaker 1 (43:49):
The Jaguars.
Speaker 3 (43:50):
They're like, we have to put red zone on one
of the jumbo dron to get people to come to
these games. Sure, yeah, we can also put a pool
in the stadium too. Do you want to go to
a Jaguars game? No?
Speaker 1 (44:00):
Do you wanna watch red zone at a pool? Yeah? And
they did do that.
Speaker 5 (44:03):
When you're good, do weird stuff. It's fun. When you're bad,
it's a gimmick.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
I'm cool with gimmicks, Yeah, but it just.
Speaker 5 (44:12):
It looks cool when it's is a gimmick. But people
will just say it's cool because you're also kind of good.
But Robert's bad, You're like, well, I guess they gotta
do it.
Speaker 3 (44:19):
Robert could care less about hockey or couldn't care less
about hockey. But I've always like, Robert, do you want
to go to this game? And you're like, yeah, no,
but they have a zamboni that's a mammoth? Would you then,
like you may still say no, but you're going to
think about it, Like I kind of do want to
see that. I would think about it for a little bit,
but yeah, ultimately I would say no, I don't want
to watch a little slow moving vehicle. Yeah, but it
(44:43):
looks like a mammoth. See now, I don't can you
explain it to him? I don't think you get It's
so like normally they have like just a regular like
square rectangle one.
Speaker 1 (44:51):
This one is a mammoth.
Speaker 4 (44:53):
It looks like the animal Robert.
Speaker 3 (44:55):
Like picture of Zamboni and then put a mammoth on it.
That's what you got.
Speaker 1 (44:58):
Like, was it ray Ramana? No, right, he's an ice
age yo.
Speaker 3 (45:10):
Everybody loves Raymond. But I was like, I don't know
where this is going. But okay, he was a sports writer.
Maybe he was kevering the fix the island. What are
they doing? You've got what's his name? Brad and Garrett
on the side of the ice.
Speaker 4 (45:24):
Why does everybody love that?
Speaker 1 (45:25):
Everybody loved the mammoth two people?
Speaker 3 (45:31):
Maybe not that.
Speaker 1 (45:33):
I don't really care.
Speaker 5 (45:34):
The only Ray Ramano impressure I can do is just
want to go, oh no, that's it. I can't say
any other words. And that's not even a good one.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
There's no bone in your ear, it's cartilage.
Speaker 3 (45:47):
I remember he did a whole Valentine's Day poem with
cartilage one time, and I was like, all right, it
used to be on it was like Friends, King of
Queens and everybody loves Raymond. When I'd get ome fro
high schoo, I watched so many episodes of everybody Let's
Ravages because I was watching King Queens, which it very
(46:09):
did still holds up, still holds up as like stupid
stick coom.
Speaker 1 (46:12):
But yeah, zambonies, you're back. Look up the zamath.
Speaker 3 (46:15):
If you don't know what the zambaitis, get the fuck
over it and figure it out. Now.
Speaker 5 (46:18):
I was thinking, Houston, when we get a team, that's
gonna be like Space themes. Now I want us to
have an animal. What animal can we do?
Speaker 3 (46:23):
You think you think like the the ball carts are cool,
like where they have like, oh, hey, they're gonna go
pick you up with the no one uses them though
I thought they were supposed to come back and then
just nobody use they. Then they call those guys pussies
that used them, so they stopped doing it. I would
totally like, but you think that's cool. How do you
think the zamath is cool?
Speaker 5 (46:40):
I would have like a Mason Miller level intro, but
I would just enter on the cart.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
You just gotta find the right car to make it
and then just made him go slow like that'd be
so like go as slow as you possibly can, so
it takes extra lot. You just you walk out to
hot for teacher in the beginning that sounds like an
engine rumbling and you're just in a little fine.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
Don't don't you gotta put like flame decals on it
or something.
Speaker 3 (47:04):
Yeah, that'd be great. Oh my god, No, dude, you
take the top off of the cart. You get it
as low as possible. You fucking walk out to low
Rider in Uston. They just had to get like swangers
on that thing. Oh my god, low as you can go.
It's just Paul. It's get like that Rodeo Lowrider that
that Paul always comes out on. Just make the golf
(47:26):
car version of that, and it's always like Paul has
to live in it.
Speaker 5 (47:31):
God. Yeah, we gotta somebody reach out to Josh Hater, like,
we need you to start walking out to DJ.
Speaker 1 (47:35):
Screw No, Josh Hayter's got the perfect one.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
Could be more perfect.
Speaker 1 (47:39):
Fireman rocks the Astro. Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Speaker 3 (47:46):
You need to fucking take it back because we're we're
in trouble right now.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
I'm not gonna take it back.
Speaker 3 (47:51):
We're so injured.
Speaker 1 (47:52):
It's worked, it's kind of worked for both games.
Speaker 4 (47:56):
We're about to get swept by the fucking.
Speaker 1 (47:58):
Rockyin the Red Size of one.
Speaker 3 (47:59):
Two games we're losing like ninety percent of our games.
It's the A's and the Rockies. This isn't good.
Speaker 1 (48:05):
I told you, don't be mean. Don't be mean about
Aaron Judge.
Speaker 5 (48:08):
Okay, I'm gonna bring a billy club next week, and
if you haven't taken it back by then, all episode long,
I'm just gonna whack you in the knees.
Speaker 3 (48:13):
And every time you do that, I'm just gonna I'm
gonna add more to the curse.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
More Cursey, We can't be more.
Speaker 3 (48:19):
You could our our I hope you like our pictures
playing buddy our.
Speaker 5 (48:23):
Our fucking picture left the game warming up between innings today.
Speaker 3 (48:27):
Yeah, it's called a curse. Dude.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
It's not supposed to be chill.
Speaker 4 (48:30):
You're a real piece of shit.
Speaker 1 (48:31):
You were a real piece of ship going at Aaron Judge.
Speaker 4 (48:34):
Okay, I said eyeball emojis.
Speaker 3 (48:36):
Yeah, well that was a lot to me right then,
and I was going I was upset, okay, and then
Anthony Roman ruined it, and now he's kind of jinks
the Red Sox too Jinx and a curse not great.
Let's move on to mock draft. Let's fucking do a
mock that's not gonna get heated at all. We're fine,
We're fine. We're gonna do a mock draft of flags
this week. Uh, let's recap last week's mock draft of
(48:59):
were drafts fools mocked out to fools. I was like, well,
had to be something with George Bush.
Speaker 5 (49:04):
I really thought more people were gonna get behind me,
get behind me picking you.
Speaker 3 (49:09):
Yeah, a lot of people, like a lot of people
on Facebook like it's diabolical. But yeah, we go off
the Twitter votes. You've always got off the Twitter votes.
You won the Facebook vote. But I don't know how
like Facebook fucked up there. Cut there.
Speaker 4 (49:19):
We're not gonna think things.
Speaker 1 (49:21):
Yeah, I'm not gonna do math. All right, it is
not kind not that kind of show.
Speaker 3 (49:25):
Uh So, last week's result on our mock draft of fools,
I had sixty two percent of the vote for first place,
Pat had twenty five percent for second, and Robert was
last with thirteen percent. On the season, Robert and I
both have two wins now Pat has one. So this
week's draft order Snake draft. We're going to go in
reverse order of how we finished last week. Robert, Pat Me,
(49:47):
Me Pat Robert, Robert pat Me and me Pet Robert
Snake draft style. It's a mock draft of flags. I say,
as I edited our thing, mock draft of flags, and
we he came up with a caveat beforehand, because sometimes
you do a mock draft, you're like, well, one one's cheating,
because then it's like if you pick mock draft of
(50:08):
breakfast food and you pick bacon, you're gonna win just
because people are gonna vote with bacon. Or it's just
too easy to panther sometimes, so like no American flag
and no Texas flag, those only ones, because that's just.
Speaker 1 (50:18):
That's a mockdraft of any flag, too easy to steal.
Speaker 3 (50:20):
The not vote here, yeah, not the United States flag
and not the Texas flag.
Speaker 1 (50:25):
Everything else is on the table.
Speaker 3 (50:28):
Your stars and bars, Robert, you get your stars and
bars if you want to go with those one overall,
I know, I know you probably do, but you might
want to wait till later.
Speaker 4 (50:34):
He doesn't know what you're talking about.
Speaker 1 (50:36):
I have no yeah, he knows what I'm talking about.
Speaker 3 (50:38):
No, no, no, no, this gun is exactly what I'm
talking about. All right, So our mock draft of flags, Robert,
you go first.
Speaker 1 (50:49):
Buddy, I'm gonna go with You're a grand old flag.
Speaker 3 (50:56):
Oh, he's picking a song right away off the top.
Bobby always thrown us a curveball when you're not ready
for it.
Speaker 5 (51:02):
I like that though. He's like, oh, we can't paint
every the American flag. I'm just gonna pick a song
about the American flag. Fuck you, fair enough, well played, sir.
Speaker 3 (51:10):
I forgot my chee cheet at home.
Speaker 5 (51:11):
Uh that's okay. By flag, I'm also semi cheating on this.
Its not the Texas flag. It is a Texas flag.
I'm taking the Battle of Gonzales flag to come and
take it flag. It is one of the coolest flags
of all time. Pastor gravy logo.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
I don't even think about that.
Speaker 4 (51:29):
That flag.
Speaker 3 (51:30):
Yeah, no, it's that's a good one. That's a good one.
I am gonna go pirate flag one shit, shit, I
was really hoping that was gonna pirate flag is the
coolest flag. It's called the Old Roger. Jy Roger.
Speaker 4 (51:45):
I think I saw it. It was actually called the
Old Roger.
Speaker 3 (51:47):
I'm gonna go pirate flag. And then I know Whales
because Wales has a dragon on it.
Speaker 5 (51:52):
All right, solid, I'm going to take with my second
pick the Isle of Man.
Speaker 3 (51:59):
That I had that three legs.
Speaker 1 (52:00):
Three legs.
Speaker 3 (52:01):
Yeah, thank god there's not a fourth leg, because then
that flag would look problematic as fuck. Maybe the camera
can see it a little bit, and with the three legs,
it looks like robot legs too.
Speaker 1 (52:12):
It doesn't even look like human legs. That was a
good one, all right.
Speaker 6 (52:18):
With my second pick, I'm gonna go with I'm gonna
go with capture the flag.
Speaker 3 (52:24):
God damn it, Bobby's really killing it right now.
Speaker 1 (52:27):
I'm gonna capture the flag.
Speaker 6 (52:28):
That's like the game mode and uh and Halo, right, yeah,
there's a game mode in Halo, not.
Speaker 1 (52:34):
Just like the kids game where you're trying to capture
the flag.
Speaker 3 (52:37):
I think you can say capture. I'll interpret it as
they see fit.
Speaker 6 (52:41):
Yeah, and uh. For my number three, I'm gonna go
I'm gonna go flag football.
Speaker 3 (52:52):
Fuck that good. I'm not happy.
Speaker 4 (52:55):
Hell what Bobby's doing right now?
Speaker 3 (52:57):
Yeah, just going off the rail two on it.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
Yeah, just nailing it. Fucking shit.
Speaker 5 (53:05):
I might need to mix in a little bit of
Bobby here that, you know what. Right now, I'm just
gonna stick with just regular flags. I'm gonna take Gibraltar.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
That's the Castle's got a castle on there.
Speaker 3 (53:14):
Look at that. That's a cool ass fucking flag.
Speaker 4 (53:16):
Man. I like that flag.
Speaker 3 (53:21):
I'm gonna go with Barbados. He's got a trident.
Speaker 4 (53:31):
I saw that one.
Speaker 3 (53:32):
That was a good one, Barbados. And then I am
gonna go does this count championship banners?
Speaker 4 (53:47):
It's a banner, not a flag.
Speaker 1 (53:48):
Flags fly forever, though, that's the what I said.
Speaker 5 (53:50):
You could take flags fly forever. That's saying. But the
champion banner is a banner, it's not a flag.
Speaker 1 (53:55):
Okay, Well, I'm gonna go six flags.
Speaker 3 (53:58):
Yeah, six flags with one Yeah, pretty sick.
Speaker 1 (54:01):
That's a good one.
Speaker 3 (54:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (54:02):
I had championship banners on here too, but yeah, I
didn't think of their banners.
Speaker 3 (54:06):
But they always say flags fla forever. And then, like
the Astros, banners are technically little flags, so could play.
But yeah, six flags is what I'm gonna take.
Speaker 4 (54:17):
All right, last pick, My final pick.
Speaker 5 (54:19):
I will take the classic two thousand and six movie
about the Battle of Eero Gma Flags of our Fathers, Bobby,
But you had that one?
Speaker 1 (54:31):
Yeah, now what?
Speaker 3 (54:33):
Al Right?
Speaker 1 (54:33):
My last pick? Okay, I'm gonna go with.
Speaker 3 (54:40):
No.
Speaker 6 (54:41):
That won't that won't get me. I think I'm gonna
go with the fictional one. I'm the last one, right, Yes, Okay,
I feel like I'm gonna talk it out a little bit. Look,
so I I have green flag on here, but you
know it's the opposite of a red flag.
Speaker 4 (54:55):
Flags go back to green flag racing.
Speaker 1 (54:58):
But I'm not sure that will give me a fee.
I'm gonna go.
Speaker 3 (55:01):
I'm gonna go with Pettoria Petia. Yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (55:05):
From Family Guy, Family Guy flag.
Speaker 5 (55:09):
I'm very happy nobody took the past the gravy flag,
because I feel like that would have been cheating and
we would.
Speaker 3 (55:13):
Have I thought Robert probably was gonna do it.
Speaker 6 (55:15):
I thought about it, but I feel like it's gonna
split the ball between the come and take it out.
Speaker 3 (55:18):
Yeah, but that would also been good for me if
you had done that, So I was rooting that you
would have done that. All right, let's recap what we
got and then I if I can remember a name
of mine, I'll do the honorable mention that we can
do so our mock draft of flags, not including the
United States or Texas flags. Robert had you were a
grand old flag, Capture the flag flag football Petoria from
(55:42):
Family Guy, and then Pat had come and take it,
the Isle of Man, Gibraltar, and flags of our Fathers
the movie. I had pirate flag, Whales, Barbados, and six flags.
Speaker 5 (55:56):
I was I really wanted to take that pirate flag first,
but I was worried you were gonna take.
Speaker 1 (56:00):
Uh, come and take it.
Speaker 3 (56:02):
I probably would have definitely come and taken I would
That was I was loaded ready to go with that.
Speaker 1 (56:07):
And I had to snack whales because Willis is a
fucking dragon rocks. Okay, honorable mentions.
Speaker 3 (56:14):
I had the Angola flag, but it looks kind of communisty.
It's got like a gear and a machety on it,
which looks pretty sick. The Chicago flag. We were doing
state flags Chicago and Maryland.
Speaker 4 (56:29):
Oh, the Angola flag looks like the communist symbol.
Speaker 1 (56:32):
Right, That's why I see probably a good day idea.
But the machete is cool.
Speaker 3 (56:35):
I wanted to say Japan, like it's very simple, but
I think it is a very cool flag.
Speaker 4 (56:39):
Is the dot the rising.
Speaker 3 (56:40):
Sun like that?
Speaker 1 (56:42):
I mean it's not a sun, it's just a red dot.
Speaker 4 (56:43):
Yeah, but you know.
Speaker 1 (56:46):
Here bid cure body, I think is what it was.
Speaker 3 (56:50):
And then it's like the ocean and the sun on
it and other dad, it's like a whole picture.
Speaker 5 (56:53):
And then uh, the checkered flag for racing checker flag
I had, super cool.
Speaker 4 (56:58):
I almost had.
Speaker 5 (56:59):
I kind of wanted to say a little flags from football,
but nobody likes the penalty.
Speaker 1 (57:02):
Nobody does unless it's on the other team.
Speaker 5 (57:04):
I know we shouldn't challenge flag. Yeah, challenge flag. Yeah,
I know we're not supposed to bad guys. But the
Confederate battle flag was a sick floutude like.
Speaker 3 (57:15):
It's not cool looking flat, but okay, get her doneage
not hate, I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (57:22):
I loved the General Lee Man. I loved Dukes of Hazard.
Speaker 3 (57:27):
I had the new California Republic from Fallout, the bear
with two heads on it. That's cool California flag and
it's done's pretty sick.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
I had the like the house Stark flag from Game
of Thrones. I had that was more of a banner,
though I didn't go with it.
Speaker 8 (57:44):
I had, you know, they always said razor banners as
I had Assassin's Creed black flag.
Speaker 3 (57:50):
All that would have been a great one. Also, the
United Earth flag from Futurama.
Speaker 5 (57:57):
It's just the American flag and then Earth was circle
of stars around it and where like the field of
stars is on the American flag.
Speaker 3 (58:04):
Okay, like that?
Speaker 1 (58:06):
I like that?
Speaker 3 (58:08):
Okay, So those are our honorable mentions as our mock
draft of flags. Will put the graphic up Thursday the
ninth at three pm and then you can vote through
Sunday night at five o'clock. So shout out to you guys.

excluding the US and Texas flagsause otherwise everyone will be like,
how the fuck did you not take that?
Speaker 3 (58:35):
That's actually good for engagement, So maybe we fair enough,
But then it looks like we just trolled. Everyone's gonna
think we're communists not picking America. I also expected somebody
to maybe take the Chili flag because it sort of
looks like the Texas flag. Chili's has a flag the
triple tipper on the flag. That'd be sick. Could have
taken that too, You could have taken Chili and Chili's.
(58:56):
All right, those are a mock draft of flags. Let's
move on to the knack second, where we tell you
what's not cool this week it's a way we convent
to you, guys and gals, and it's brought to you
by the past the Gravy Merch store Pastdegravy Merch dot Com.

(59:17):
I thought about past greemerge dot com. Where you can
go get that fantastic shirt. It's aprilfol somewhere. It's always Aperfols.
Whenever you're pool in a prank, you can go get
the brand new thanks to Robert tank tops. Back in

logo shirt and the ip in Pools slash. I listened
to Past the Gravy. I also see this brand new dad.
(59:39):
How we go here? A dad hat, A little summer
dad hat going down. That's pretty sick. Get the coffee mug.
We got a bunch of other hats. Get the golf hats,
Get the rope hats, Get the the sweatpants, the shorts,
the flag. All of the stuff at pastegavy merge dot

Speaker 1 (59:58):

(01:00:19):
past Gavy stuff. I think it was Todd Voss also
said he was ordering some stuff. We got a golf
tournament next week and they were ordering polos only rocking
my pass, Gary Pollopat, I don't know if you want
to go to the golf tournament, but uh, I was
gonna say, if you got your polo, you can throw
your polo on and it looks sick past the gav
merch dot Com Pass gay merch dot Com. Send me
a picture you wearing your gear doing something cool. We'll
put you on a gravy day post past the Gravy
(01:00:40):
Merch dot Com, the official sponsor of the not Cool segment.
Not cool Man All right, I will go first because
I've been kind of dealing with it while you're real
the pod lasting might not cool was that my driver
(01:01:03):
went out again and my landlord was adamant that we
not get it fixed and we get a new one,
and then the whole process of that has been the
worst because then Friday, she was like, hey, if you
need it, you should go to Home Depot, Home Deep,
go to the Deep and get one. And she gave
me a price range, which none of them were in,
(01:01:24):
and I was like, don't make it more than this.
So I was like, well, if I buy something that's
more expensive, then you're gonna probably dock me that it's
not something I'm purchasing because it's yours, and I'm not
going to do that. I'm renting from you, so I'm
not gonna flop the bill for that. I was like,
why don't you just get delivered? And then she was like, Okay,
what are your times that you can get in delivers?
Like Mondays, great Tuesday's, great Thursday's, great Wednesday is probably
(01:01:45):
the worst day you could get it. And then Friday,
I'm going out of town, so what about like Monday,
Tuesday or Thursday and she was like, what are your times?
And so I was like, Wednesday specifically, it's like noon
to two thirty, gotta go up and be up here.
Then like after six, which I know most places don't
deliver after six.
Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
Then she was like, okay, cool, thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:02:05):
And today I got a text it they're delivering it
at three o'clock. I was like, so you didn't. You
didn't tell him any of the times they gave you.
And then she had told me that it u to
make sure to remind them to dispose of the old
dryer or else it would be my responsibility. I was like, no, no, no, no, no,
you tell them to do that, because if there's a
(01:02:26):
dryer in the house that's not working, I'm just gonna
leave it. It's just gonna be a it's gonna be
a problem. And so that was the whole thing. And
then today I had to confirm with the guy that
they were gonna haul off the other one. And then
while we were doing the podcast, when I had to
walk away earlier, he called because I was supposed to
move he's not qualified to move the washer that is
(01:02:46):
by the dryer, to pull the washer back and then
put the dryer in and then put the washer back.
And he's like, oh, well it needs to be moved
and disconnected.
Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
I can't. I'm not qualified to, like, but you're qualified
to like set up a dryer.
Speaker 5 (01:03:00):
Yeah, because a dryer you just have to like plug
in and then plug in the vent. He's like, I'm
not supposed to pull the hose. You put the water,
you put the hose back in like waterlines.
Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
Yeah, So that whole time he's like, well we can't.
Speaker 3 (01:03:13):
I was like, well, so fuck me, right, And so
like my landlord wasn't like, hey, you need to move
the washer.
Speaker 1 (01:03:20):
You need to do like I didn't know that.
Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
I assume that the guy that's deal this job is
hauling and moving dryers and washers, is gonna be able
to move my fucking washer. So now where I have
a fucking no dryer and now no washer because we
have to move it for another week probably until I
can reschedule it. So it's just fucking when you're dealing
with somebody, it's like I feel like I'm texting you
stuff and like she's waiting six to seven hours between
(01:03:44):
texting me back on stuff too. So it's like, all right,
this is not a cohesive discussion that we're having here.
I don't understand what's going on. And then like last
night I told my wife, was like, I feel like
there's about a ninety nine point nine percent chance that
something's not going to We're not gonna end up with
the dryer tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
And guess what nailed it?
Speaker 4 (01:04:03):
I know you said you're going out of town.
Speaker 5 (01:04:04):
Can they deliver over the weekend, because if you like,
leave them a note, I can pop over. Maybe because
I ain't doing shit all weekend, I'll be watching the
Masters and drinking on my cap.
Speaker 3 (01:04:14):
I might see if I can do that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:16):
But yeah, I would have figured out how to fucking move.
Speaker 3 (01:04:19):
I would have disconnected and move the washer if I
had known that's what I needed to do. But now
I'm fucking here not being able to do anything like
oh hey, Like there was never a hey, make sure
this is taking care of, Make sure this is taking
care of, make sure this is aaf care of if
they have that stipulation in whatever the contract that's not
with me with my landlord lady, like that probably should
have been communicated to me. I bet it was communicated
(01:04:41):
to her, and she just didn't tell me that part
but it's it's a pays and like not having like
I have two young children that go through a lot
of clothes. Not having a washer dryer right now fucking sucks.
So that's my not cool again. And now it's just
it's probably gonna be not cool next week. I feel
like your landlord tries really hard to make you hate her.
I think she's just she's never rented before. She used
(01:05:04):
to live at this place, so like she's never rented before.
She just built the house like a fucking idiot, didn't
know what she was doing by just throwing the cheapest
thing in every part of the house and making a
crooked and stuff like that. But like so I think
it's just like ignorance, like not knowing what to do.
But like, I'm not your maintenance guy, so I'm not
gonna go buy a dryer and then just deduct it
(01:05:25):
from that thing and then install. I'm not doing that.
I'm not the disposal guy of a dryer. But yeah,
that's my It's very frustrating. I'll go next So Monday,
I'm not gonna show it to the camera.
Speaker 5 (01:05:38):
You won't be able to see it. Alex, you can
probably see on here. You see that, just swarm of
bees around that tree.
Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
Do. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:05:45):
So Monday, while I was at work, someone went out
back and like, hey, there's like a thousand bees right
outside the back door. And I look and there's this
tree that's back there, and it looks like they're swarming
around that, but it's kind of going around the whole area.
And my car was parked right in front of that tree. Now,
as you guys might remember, I'm allergic to one thing
in this world.
Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
It's bees.
Speaker 5 (01:06:07):
So I wasn't too thrilled about this prospect. But you know,
like an hour later, I looked back out back and
they were gone. Didn't think about it.
Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
Today, I'm leaving work and as I'm getting in my car,
I just so happen to be parked in that same
exact parking spot. And as I look up, I see
you just a swarm of all these beasts. I like
have to dive into my car and throw shit in there. Meanwhile,
I'm worried that one of those basterds would have gotten
inside the car and stung me in the neck.
Speaker 4 (01:06:30):
Guys, I was driving over here.
Speaker 5 (01:06:32):
Luckily none of that happened, but I had to I
immediately text my GM.
Speaker 4 (01:06:36):
I was like, dude, the bees are back.
Speaker 5 (01:06:37):
You need to contact the building maintenance or building management
and tell them they need to fix this. And he's like,
I've already gotten on it with them. They were sending
something else, like you need to tell them to send
somebody faster.
Speaker 3 (01:06:47):
Did you tell them that it's giving you a lot
of trauma that you're having a store in your body. No.
Speaker 5 (01:06:51):
But I also like, I always forget that I don't
carry Benadryl until I see bees, and I don't want
to be killed by bees.
Speaker 3 (01:07:00):
Same, this is not my girl. I'm not gonna get
a cool movie out of it. Nobody's gonna cry over
my casket about.
Speaker 1 (01:07:06):
You don't wear glasses or ride bikes. So not as cool.
Speaker 5 (01:07:10):
So I, as big as I am, I have to
be terrified of tiny little bees. I'm sure it would
probably be okay as long as I'm not stung in
the neck.
Speaker 1 (01:07:19):
But yeah, that's true. Well that's where you store your trauma.
Speaker 3 (01:07:22):
I don't want to have to walk around like Uncle
Fester like this, just protect my neck. Wear a collar,
were like a turtleneck.
Speaker 1 (01:07:31):
Just swat at him.
Speaker 5 (01:07:32):
The weather has been nice, but I feel like it's
so a little too warm for turtlenecks.
Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
Right now, So it's yeah, yeah, I would agree with that.
Speaker 5 (01:07:39):
So and I don't want them to necessarily kill the bees.
Bees are good, they pollinate. We're already losing too many.
But like, I doubt they're gonna send out a bee keeper.
I feel like they're just gonna torch that tree. That's
what I would do.
Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
That's what I would do too.
Speaker 5 (01:07:55):
Oh there's bees here, no more. So yeah, I gotta
worry about bee. We've been sending a lot of be
puns in the work text.
Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
Chat like that.
Speaker 1 (01:08:05):
If you watch the B movie since this whole deal happened.
Speaker 5 (01:08:07):
Earlier today, when GM was like, hey guys, just so
everyone's aware, the B's are back. So if you park
out back, make sure you be careful.
Speaker 1 (01:08:14):
I b's in the trap. These b's in the trap.
Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
So yeah, I got that going on. That sucks. Thank
you you all come take care of your B situation.
You take care of my washer drive situation. Fucking deal done.
Speaker 6 (01:08:29):
We've already talked about this, but the Astros right now,
you know there's always a caveats early in the season,
but you still don't want to like they're gonna get
swept by the Rockies.
Speaker 1 (01:08:40):
Not necessarily, I mean they're there.
Speaker 4 (01:08:42):
It's the end of the eighth that we're down.
Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
I mean a lot of ball game left.
Speaker 3 (01:08:46):
We have a half inning to score at least eight runs,
and eight run leads the most dangerous leading baseball. They
always say that.
Speaker 5 (01:08:52):
We like, we started out the first two series so
hot at bat too. Yeah, and now we're playing the
A's and the fucking Rockies. I was gonna use it,
but I was like, no, I know this is gonna
be Bobby's It's brutal. Our bullpen just can't stop anybody
from hitting the baseball, well.
Speaker 1 (01:09:08):
Least pass the Red Sox to fall back on.
Speaker 4 (01:09:10):
Who are even worse?
Speaker 3 (01:09:11):
Oh fuck, you're right, Fuck John Henry sell the team,
you piece of ship.
Speaker 1 (01:09:17):
He ain't doing it, No, he's not.
Speaker 3 (01:09:18):
He makes too much money and he's a fucking asshole.
Speaker 6 (01:09:21):
And this is the most amount of games I've actually
watched because of their new subscription thing, like I can
watch them now.
Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
Like a real fan.
Speaker 8 (01:09:27):
Now are you the bad luck? And now go back
to listen. I should I should come back to listen
next game.
Speaker 5 (01:09:32):
Listen, just only listen if it changes. What are you
paying for it for then, well, you can have it on,
but just don't look at the screen. Just listen to
the screen. We could change something up. Yeah, no, it's
it's a real bad stretch for the Astros right now.
Granted we're not even twenty games in the season.
Speaker 3 (01:09:50):
This is kind of stupid.
Speaker 6 (01:09:51):
Ye cut Brown down. Christian Javier pitched one inning, he's out.
Speaker 3 (01:09:56):
Jake Myers, Christian Burrows has not started well for us. Weiss,
who we brought in, has not pitched well at all.
You knows.
Speaker 1 (01:10:06):
Brian Reyu, Christian.
Speaker 3 (01:10:07):
Roa who's from Houston. Uh, you know, he his first
couple of starts didn't go well.
Speaker 5 (01:10:13):
He had three up, three down last night, so at
least that's an improvement, but didn't matter because we were
down like seven at the time when he came in.
So yeah, we got we astles need to figure some
shit out.
Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:10:23):
It was fun for like three or four days, not anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:10:27):
Yeah, Jordan came into the series. Hottest shit. I don't
think he has a hit.
Speaker 3 (01:10:31):
Yeah in Colorado, the guy who hits the ball farther
than anyone, and you're like, oh, he's gonna hit four
bombs this series with the thin air fucking can't do shit,
so it's a very frustrating.
Speaker 4 (01:10:43):
Fucking weak.
Speaker 3 (01:10:44):
Baseball is dumb anyways, Dude, it's just like we're really
just passed the time. So it was dumb, then why
don't you fucking take it back. You were mean about
my guy, so you could have cursed one guy on
the team. Well I was really mad and you sent
two eyeballs, so as he cursed both teams, and Robert
just happened to be a casualty of that. You had
one singular team like most team, like most real fans do,
(01:11:07):
then that wouldn't have been a problem for Robert, But
unfortunately you had to drag Robert into this drive through
the night up to New York City. I'm a kneecap,
Aaron Judge.
Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
He probably he'd probably stopped you beforehand.
Speaker 3 (01:11:18):
Wait one of these, a little bitch.
Speaker 1 (01:11:20):
He just put his hand like on your forehead, and
he's pretty athletic.
Speaker 3 (01:11:25):
No, no, he's got baseball athletic traits. You throw out
that guy like certain people. That may or may not
have cost the entire United States the best.
Speaker 4 (01:11:35):
Classic Oh, Aaron Judge, by not showing up at all.
Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
Yeah, Anthony Rumman final out.
Speaker 3 (01:11:39):
He already he had a hit in the game, any
hits of that game, but he didn't. Did he struck
out to lose the game? Or the captain with Anthony
Rumman that struck out the.
Speaker 5 (01:11:51):
Aaron Judge couldn't captain a booie he could he did.
Speaker 3 (01:11:56):
Yeah, if you wanted to sink, well, y'all sank that.
You're reliever and reliever.
Speaker 4 (01:12:01):
And you were a spring training has something with spring
training anymore?
Speaker 3 (01:12:04):
He brings up memories of spring. It is spring. Don't
you fucking say that you started this. I will, I
will curse everything you want me to get to the packers,
don't even start. Don't make me love. I will. I
will hurse destruction. I will curse Jordan. You don't have
(01:12:26):
the power. I have the power. I have the power.
You goddamn dryer when they install it, you know what
kind of curse you're gonna get for that? Whatever you
I'm just gonna curse more poop in your dryer. Oh,
that's gonna be a way, worse, way worse curse.
Speaker 4 (01:12:44):
Yeah, we're all down pretty bad right now.
Speaker 3 (01:12:49):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (01:12:50):
Life is pain, That's just what's what it is.
Speaker 3 (01:12:52):
But it's okay.
Speaker 4 (01:12:53):
That's why we have sports. We can yell at the
TV and get out the anger.
Speaker 3 (01:12:55):
The best part about being a sports fans that one
day you'll die.
Speaker 5 (01:13:00):
That's true unless you're Dave point Than Everything is just
awesome about sorts all the time.
Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
Not always, I mean always.
Speaker 5 (01:13:07):
He's got fucking fifteen major championships in like seventeen years.
Speaker 3 (01:13:11):
If you're not take away the Boston part. Not many
people get to say that, and those that do are
from Boston probably could be worse. We could live in Detroit.
It's up and coming. It's up and coming, just like
the hockey team, the.
Speaker 4 (01:13:26):
Auto industry coming back. Are they fixing the water.
Speaker 3 (01:13:29):
The electric stuff? They are actually fixing the water not
in Flint, Michigan, but like Detroit's fine.
Speaker 4 (01:13:34):
Flint Detroit. It's all the same shit.
Speaker 3 (01:13:35):
Detroit's on. Like, they got lots of lakes there, so
they got plenty of one. All right, let's go onto
the answer segment. We did the pre come segment where
we vent or we uh, we pitch you our ideas
business ideas. The baseball card eat? Am I gonna be
the one who has to do this? I know I
just don't want to buy cards. I will I will
eat baseball cards. I would like, do you think it's
(01:13:57):
gonna buy them for you? I would like, obviously some
he listens to this and then we get like a
bunch of cars.
Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
What's your birthday?
Speaker 3 (01:14:03):
Don't worry about it.
Speaker 4 (01:14:04):
I'll tell I'm gonna buy you a bunch of cards.
Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
I don't want. I heard it buy me cards. I
would like like a sponsor perhaps to just come on
board and give us cards.
Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
Why do we send him cards? He's just gonna eat them? Yeah, dude,
shut up?
Speaker 3 (01:14:15):
You can you send magicians cards and they flip them
and bend them all the time, Like what now, bicycle
didn't just abandon magicians? Yeah, but they can magic them
back to not being bent. That's true. Have you seen
the guy that tries to get into parties or get
girls numbers by just doing crazy magic tricks? Oh yeah,
sound like the frat parties and stuff. Yeah, it's always
something like douchey bros Like yeah, but like who do
(01:14:37):
you know here?
Speaker 7 (01:14:38):
Bro?
Speaker 1 (01:14:38):
Like who do you know here?
Speaker 3 (01:14:39):
Is? I don't know anybody here? I actually don't. I
don't have any money on me either, so I can't
pay a cup. But I just wonder if I could
get in if I could do a really cool magic trick,
and it's always like fucking come here and watch this idiot,
and then he just smokes some mistakes idea and now
look at this. Now it's all four clubs and it's there.
They could just blow Seo his minds, Like, I don't
know how he does it. It's gotta be a I
or very good editing. I just want to be really good.
(01:15:02):
They're in a frat party, they're all drunk.
Speaker 1 (01:15:04):
They learn a card trick and just just blow people's.
Speaker 4 (01:15:07):
I knew some as like a kid. I forgot them all.
Speaker 3 (01:15:10):
But all right, Robert, fold that cart up, now stab
it with this knife I gave you and light it
on fire. Now reaching your back pocket, is that your card?
And you're like holy shit, like how do you do that?
How well you get to do his slight ans? When
Robert was looking at the card, I slipped around him
and then slid it in his back pocket, like how
no you didn't, No, you didn't.
Speaker 5 (01:15:28):
You ever seen that movie Paint and Gain with the
Rock and Mark Wahlberg where they're they're like Jim Bros.
And they they kidnapped this guy who like owns the
gym and like beat him and force him to sign
over all of his properties. It's based on a true story.
Trust me, these guys are fucking idiots. You might be thinking,
like why would you do that? Were like, oh, they
thought they'd get rid of sohen the dude like gets
(01:15:50):
rid of like he escapes and then eventually goes to
the cops and then they all get arrested for forcing
this guy to sign over all his property and everything.
Speaker 3 (01:15:58):
Let's do that to a magician.
Speaker 5 (01:16:00):
Because they're not just gonna tell us their secrets, but
if we beat and torture them, I feel like they'll
be forced to. But we got it, like zip ties,
not handcuffs. They can get out of handcuffs and straight
jackets too. Keep Yeah, anything we gotta have to do.
What was the magnet You think about that?
Speaker 4 (01:16:16):
How do you tie down a magician where they can't
get out of it?
Speaker 1 (01:16:18):
What do you do with was the magnet guy an
x man x man magneto?
Speaker 3 (01:16:23):
Remember remember when they put him in prison, he had
to have the like things so he couldn't pull the
bars out. We gotta do something like that with the magician,
but they could probably escape the thing.
Speaker 5 (01:16:31):
You can't even hold him at gun point because he'll
be like, check the barrel of the gun and he'll
have a card in there.
Speaker 1 (01:16:35):
The fire it was in a suspect that should have known.
Speaker 5 (01:16:39):
Okay, damn it, And we gotta how do you kidnap
a magician? Damn it?
Speaker 3 (01:16:44):
That would be so funny as that sketch, like trying
to rob a magician and he's like, is that my
wallet you thought you got you look in the barrel,
there's a card stuck in the barrel. Oh you're a pickpocket. Interesting,
check my wallet that you just stole. And you're like, oh,
he fuck gets out are your diamonds? How well, it's
right here. I didn't think here's your I want to
(01:17:05):
know the secrets. They used to have that behind the
magician's code where the guy would wear the mask, but
he would he would he would tell you like the
easy ship or or like I get it the girl
put their feet up and get sawed in half yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:17:17):
And he'd show how like behind the girl was actually
tucking into the box. So I want to know, like
the street magic, we need a dirty magician, all right?
Who's a dirty magician? Listen the past to Gaby let
us know.
Speaker 4 (01:17:27):
Some band named Dirty Magician.
Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
Dirty Magician would be a great it'd be an album
Namety Magician rock. Maybe a good podcast now I don't know,
sort of podcast or magicians where we do reveal their secrets.
All right, so here we go, not an AI guy,
but it'd be funny to do the like like find
the secrets and then the podcast is just called Dirty
(01:17:48):
Magician and it's like got the like anonymous filter over
a magician, or this is the secrets to how you
do the card truck and it's just like you walk
through everybody doing that, but it's the whole podcast just
Dirty Magician. But then the magicians might come after us.
Speaker 1 (01:18:04):
Well no, they wouldn't know because you had the filter
on it, but they would come after us.
Speaker 4 (01:18:08):
You're right, oh we're filtered too, or just a magician.
Speaker 3 (01:18:10):
No, we like we would want to be filtered in
the past Gay podcast network, and then we would just
have the magician who have their own podcast his or hers.
Speaker 4 (01:18:18):
Yeah, but then they could come after us for the
podcast or there's a dangerous games.
Speaker 3 (01:18:21):
So we have a magician on our side at that point,
and then he would just do magic to him like
you just said, like they can't shoot us because they'd
have cards in the gun. I need to find a magician.
Now your gun is made of cards?
Speaker 4 (01:18:32):
What how do you think it's a real gun. You
pull the trigger and the little flag with.
Speaker 1 (01:18:37):
That look behind your ear, it's your gun?
Speaker 3 (01:18:40):
What the fuck?
Speaker 4 (01:18:40):
That would have been a good flag, the fake gun
bang flag?
Speaker 1 (01:18:48):
All right, Robert?
Speaker 3 (01:18:49):
Can you if if I'm taking the card thing, you
got to figure out the magician stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:18:52):
Okay, I need a full on card trick next week.
Speaker 3 (01:18:55):
Can you do that?
Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
Just hit my teeth with a fucking micro didn't chip it?
Speaker 3 (01:19:01):
Did I?
Speaker 1 (01:19:02):
No, it doesn't look like it.
Speaker 3 (01:19:03):
God that God? Fuck, But you're gonna you're gonna learn magic.
I will try my best. I want a cartoon. He's
gonna blow my mind.
Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
I can't guarantee anything.
Speaker 3 (01:19:14):
I'll see if I can. If I remember, I'll try
and learn a car.
Speaker 6 (01:19:17):
If I just come natural to you, like you might
just like start practicing me like oh, like it all
comes back to you, all the trauma.
Speaker 3 (01:19:24):
Because you store that trauma somewhere and maybe start stretching
and then release some of that trauma, and I'll remember
your magic trauma. What if like your trauma was like
you did, you were like a gonna be a heralded magician,
but like somebody fucking blackballed jew on the magic black
market and they were like, no, you can't do this.
And then you're like it all comes back to you
when you're like stretching your quad.
Speaker 4 (01:19:43):
Brother just called me a nerd when I was six
and I stopped doing Master.
Speaker 3 (01:19:46):
He made fun of me when to pull a rabbit
out of a hat, and I was really going places.
We didn't even have a rabbit. It really pulled out
of a hat. Fucked.
Speaker 4 (01:19:54):
My life could have been so different.
Speaker 3 (01:19:57):
A magician is like the easiest thing in the world
to make enough too. But then you're like, it's fucking
sick that they see.
Speaker 4 (01:20:03):
I don't get that people make fun of magic. Magic's awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:20:06):
Well there's the goofy magician guy. It's like I can
pull all these band bands out of my sleeve. And
then there's the guy that does the crazy card trick
like street magic.
Speaker 1 (01:20:13):
How do you do that?
Speaker 3 (01:20:14):
I don't get a fuck if you saw somebody in
a half, because I know you're not really saw anybody
in half.
Speaker 4 (01:20:18):
I think I could beat up Chris Angel.
Speaker 3 (01:20:20):
Now you could do magic on you.
Speaker 5 (01:20:24):
That you can't buy a magician. David Blaine's on some
serious next level ship. Chris angel I think I could
wear him down. Magicians are the scariest people to fight.
Speaker 4 (01:20:34):
You never know what's up their sleeve. There we go,
there you go bring magic to a gunfight.
Speaker 1 (01:20:39):
Robert, Can we print that on a sure?
Speaker 3 (01:20:44):
We we sued that.
Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
You never know what's up a magician sleeve. Make the
Davle pool somewhere guy he's.
Speaker 3 (01:20:59):
With the parrot, just put a top hat on them
and when he's pointing to make him have a wand
you never want to what's up to see this? You
got the bandana just coming down, and then the other
one it's got flowers. I feel like all of their
shirts are just the same Grim Reaper guy and it's
slightly different. Like, yeah, no, that's the bit, that's what
we're that's what we're going for.
Speaker 4 (01:21:19):
Run the ball.
Speaker 1 (01:21:20):
You need Grim Reaper t shirts, you go to pass
Gary merch dot com. All right, let's move the fuck
off are.
Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
Our next segment is the answer segment where we we
do the high thoughts. In the beginning, we do our
business ideas, whether or not we shoed cards, whether or
not Roberts she learned magic, whether or not I should
donate a kidney or anything. If you got high thoughts,
drunk ideas, any business ideas like that, you has to
power rank five similarly related things.
Speaker 1 (01:21:48):
We can definitely do that better than anybody else.
Speaker 3 (01:21:50):
You want to medical advice, parenting advice, relationship advice, we
got it all for you at pass gray pod on
ex use the hashtag ptg answers, and then you can
also email us your questions past greepot at gmail dot
com put answers in the subject. So it's at past
grape pod on X put hashtag ptg answers with your question,
and then on Gmail if you want to email us
(01:22:12):
past greypot at gmail dot com answers in the subject.
Speaker 1 (01:22:15):
We do prefer that you hit us up on X first.
Speaker 3 (01:22:17):
Though. This is the answer segment. Don't you just answer
the question? Why? Just answer the question? Answer answer, don't
thanks the subject, just answer the question, kept.
Speaker 1 (01:22:31):
Answer answer answers, answer.
Speaker 3 (01:22:37):
Any questions, all right. Our first question this week is
from Lucas Greer. Lucas says, you guys are basically doctors.
He's right, So I figured you could help me out
with this one, Why do I sneeze after eating? For
the past five years or so, I'll get sneezing fits
(01:22:59):
at they're eating a meal. It's not every time, but
just about four out of every seven meals. You'd say.
Speaker 1 (01:23:08):
There's never any pain and it's just weird. Why does
this happen?
Speaker 4 (01:23:13):
How much seasoning are you using?
Speaker 3 (01:23:14):
Bro Oh, yeah, a lot of pepper. Could be a
lot of pepper, just soaking everything in pepper. Have be
too much Tony satur is on there. I think I
think you might be allergic to food. Dude, you've you
allergic to a cat and a cat's around you sneeze.
Speaker 4 (01:23:29):
I was gonna say, do you have a cat that
you got about five to seven years ago?
Speaker 3 (01:23:34):
I have a five year old dog. I think you
might be allergic to dogs that sits around me when
I eat. Robert, look Google, like, just look up sneezing
after eating and see if that's a thing.
Speaker 1 (01:23:47):
I'm not saying it's not a thing. I just there's
gotta be some.
Speaker 4 (01:23:49):
AI is gonna be a too much pepper dog.
Speaker 3 (01:23:52):
But like that's like you sneeze on your allergic stuff
or where you're sick, and if you're not always sick.
You go to the doctor for this.
Speaker 5 (01:24:00):
Are you chewing weird to where like the seasoning is
coming off of your food, like hanging out at the
back of your throat working its way up into your nose.
Speaker 1 (01:24:09):
So it can be caused by a reflex from a
full stomach sanitation. Uh gust story nitis, gastro no gus, gus,
the gust, the tory, okay, nag nagel. Nasal sensitivity to
food flavor, slashed heat, or mild food allergies. So just
(01:24:32):
like if you're just eating the spiciest wings ever or.
Speaker 4 (01:24:34):
No, it could be mild. So you're just mildly allergic
to food.
Speaker 1 (01:24:39):
Yeah, that sucks.
Speaker 4 (01:24:42):
That sucks a lot.
Speaker 3 (01:24:44):
Like does it Obviously you n not here, so you
can't answer, like does it change with like if you
had a smoothie, is it different than if you had
a burger?
Speaker 4 (01:24:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:24:51):
Like is it just when you get fast food or
are you eating taco bell and that's when you get
the season But lucases fine, four.
Speaker 3 (01:24:59):
Out of every seven meals. That's a lot of meals. Yeah,
Like that's not just a oh that's a one off.
Speaker 4 (01:25:05):
More often than not, you finished eating and then start seizing.
Speaker 3 (01:25:07):
Also the fact that you have had this happening for
five years and you're asking us respect probably means you
haven't gone on the doctor, which is the most pat
thing ever.
Speaker 4 (01:25:15):
Respect I appreciate, like pat.
Speaker 3 (01:25:17):
Would just be like, oh, yeah, no, I get a
fever when I have chicken wings. But it goes away
after I mean, we you should get that checked it out.
That's I mean, it goes away. I'm not sneezing all
the time, like it only happens sometimes after I eat.
Speaker 5 (01:25:30):
It took me two years to realize I had a
crawfish allergy for a little while, and I can't preach
it after I eat crawfish. I feel like two years later,
one time it happened, I was like, I'm covered on
high as my mom was like, you eat crawfish today, dude.
Speaker 1 (01:25:44):
Yeah, I'm just gonna say you're allergic to food.
Speaker 3 (01:25:45):
Dude.
Speaker 4 (01:25:46):
Yeah, that sucks. You just gotta deal with it.
Speaker 5 (01:25:48):
Don't talk to anybody about it though. Just internalize that
we tried taking your power back.
Speaker 3 (01:25:56):
You did, but you talked to a whole podcast about it.
Speaker 4 (01:25:58):
So what you gotta do is you talked about it
one time. Now hold it in.
Speaker 3 (01:26:03):
But you're like also trying to conquer his allergies by
eating more food if you're allergic to food. So actually
it's a pretty alpha move. Chart it out be like
what did you eat today that you sneezed after? You're
gonna have to have like a journal for sure, and
then maybe get to the bottom and probably see other doctor,
like a real doctor besides these doctors they were we
(01:26:24):
are doctors.
Speaker 5 (01:26:24):
Obviously, take the next couple of months to chart all
of your eating habits and then come back to us
as sneezed over.
Speaker 3 (01:26:30):
Yes see if we sneeze timber, sneeze timber, sneeze timber. Okay,
not sneez timber eleventh, I'm busy that day.
Speaker 4 (01:26:36):
And then we'll see, come back to us with the
data and we'll really work through it togeather.
Speaker 1 (01:26:39):
All right, but yeah, you're allergic to food, Doug, that sucks.
Speaker 3 (01:26:44):
Lay off the pepper.
Speaker 1 (01:26:46):
That sucks.
Speaker 3 (01:26:47):
H Next up, we got Alex O at Alex mcthunder
one on X and he says, if the NFL had
a logo featuring a current or former player like the
NBA who has Jerry West as their logo, who would
it be?
Speaker 1 (01:27:00):
And don't pick Brady, No, it would probably.
Speaker 5 (01:27:02):
I mean, if it's gonna be like Jerry West, that's
almost a running back style right there. I think you're
gonna go Jim Brown silhouette of Jimmer or like Barry
Sanders juke and a guy. But I think you need
like a running back doing like a power move through
the hole, kind of hunched over, got the ball top
high and tight.
Speaker 1 (01:27:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:27:21):
I was trying to like the heisman, but not the
heisman pose. See, I was trying to think of, like,
do you want an iconic moment. Jerry West is just dribbling.
It's not like he's doing a dunk, but like a
dunk would be sick. But now we have the Jordan
logo maybe. So I took some notes on this and
just a little research. Biased First, let's get the bias
ones out of the way. David Terry helmet catch that'd
(01:27:43):
be pretty sick. Also Odell Beckham junior one handed catch
that would be sick too, but that's very Jordan looking.
Speaker 4 (01:27:52):
Dwight Clark catching the back of the end zone.
Speaker 3 (01:27:55):
I had Dwight Clark, Yes, Dwight Clark back of the
end zone the catch. I also had Camps Gadabo when
he ran over that that Commander's player the first week
of the season, where he's just lowering his head into
the guy's chest and the guy's falling back like that
would be just so he looks like a rhino.
Speaker 5 (01:28:10):
Brett Favdur on the Super Bowl when his helmets off
and he's just running around with his arms in.
Speaker 3 (01:28:13):
The air, that would be good. But so I was like,
for football, you probably want it's either got to be
somebody stiff arming or like heismany but not full on Heisman,
or it's got like a quarterback going to throw. So
I narrowed it down to like Ladanian Thomlinson was a
stiff arm and motherfucker, you juke you out. But Ladaia
Thomason loved to just throw like he loved grabbing the
(01:28:33):
face mask and just bend in your neck as far
as it could go the other way, which isn't a
penalty but probably should because it's absolutely face masking. He's
I'm just gonna twist your neck around the wrong way.
Ladaia Thomlinson stiff arm and somebody or a quarterback going
back to pass. I looked up a lot of quarterbacks
a lot of like iconic quarterbacks passing photos. Johnny Knightis
(01:28:54):
has the most, like, yeah, if you can picture a
quarterback going getting ready to throw a pass, Johnny and
Nitis had like he'd arches back down and like it
was like a drawing, like the Giants have. They're one
of their older logos is the Giant man throwing the
ball out of the stadium, like it's that cartoon drawing,
but a real man did it. And then as an
honorable mention, Lynn Dawson just ripping a dart on the
sideline would be sick. They're probably not gonna go with
(01:29:17):
that for the logo, but I think Johnny united Is
throwing a football would be a perfect logo.
Speaker 5 (01:29:23):
Who was the I mean, if you're just looking for
good silhouettes too, who was the Steelers guy who caught
it from Ben Roethlisberger in the corner of the end zone,
fully extended toe tapping in the corner Santennia Homes. I
was gonna say, I thought it was San Antonio, but
I wasn't sure that would be a good one. Or
if you just want like a guy that looks like
a football player, great silhouette football guys.
Speaker 4 (01:29:41):
Football guy. Just a silhouette of Mike Alstott.
Speaker 3 (01:29:45):
Yeah, but it would have to be him doing something football,
so cause I was trying to look like Jerry West
isn't dunking, he's not shooting a shot, He's just dripping
a basketball, which is as basic as he could be.
And the MLB logo is just the guy with the
bat ready to go. I don't know if that's after anybody.
Speaker 5 (01:30:00):
No, that's just a basic But I think if you're
gonna go after a player, you have to go back
to the origins like they did with, you know, early days,
Jerry West.
Speaker 4 (01:30:07):
So I like Jim Brown.
Speaker 1 (01:30:09):
That's why I was like Johnny and Johnny knightis like Johnny,
you like Super Bowl two.
Speaker 4 (01:30:14):
I think quarterbacks could everything else. Let's not give this
to a quarterback.
Speaker 3 (01:30:17):
I could see like like the MLB logo just putting
a quarterback in the MLB logo, and like that could
be a perfect NFL logo because the basketball logo is
just like the horizontal or the vertical version of the
MLB logo.
Speaker 5 (01:30:31):
Oh, I'm fucking losing another fifty six. Lawrence Taylor A
silhouette of Lawrence Taylor just coming off the edge.
Speaker 3 (01:30:38):
But see, because I feel like you gotta be stiff
arming because you're like, oh, that's football, that's what they do.
Speaker 1 (01:30:43):
And then you gotta or throwing the ball like they think.
Speaker 3 (01:30:45):
Think Olympics whenever you like, oh we're going to curling,
they have little guy like that little stick figure because
that's curling. Like, it's gotta be something that's like, that's
what we do in that game. And baseball is good
at being like they swing a bat in baseball, they
dribble a ball in basketball.
Speaker 4 (01:30:58):
Be great. If it was just a center, a silhouette
center just crashed.
Speaker 1 (01:31:02):
That would not be that bad.
Speaker 3 (01:31:03):
Though.
Speaker 1 (01:31:06):
I'm gonna go Johnny Uniteds.
Speaker 5 (01:31:08):
I'm gonna stick with Jim Brown, that's fair. Or if
you want to do a coach Growden, just a football's guy,
football guy.
Speaker 3 (01:31:16):
That works, that works. A few options there, All right,
what do we got next? Next one is from Andrew Alderman.
What's inside the Moon? I'm gonna go with more moon
and rock.
Speaker 1 (01:31:33):
I'm gonna go with transformers. Oh yeah, definitely not oil
because if there was oil there, we would have already.
Speaker 3 (01:31:39):
Been on the moon.
Speaker 4 (01:31:40):
We would have bombed the ship up, we.
Speaker 1 (01:31:41):
Would have Yeah, we would have taken the fuck out
of that oil.
Speaker 4 (01:31:44):
Yeah, if there was oil, anything but oil real.
Speaker 1 (01:31:47):
Yeah, I don't want Tony.
Speaker 4 (01:31:48):
Carl would have had us up there fifteen years ago.
Speaker 5 (01:31:56):
Nothing. If it's hollow like they thought it was hollow earth, No,
it's hollow moon.
Speaker 3 (01:32:04):
Ooh. I like that.
Speaker 1 (01:32:07):
That's why they won't land on it because they're scared
they'll pop it.
Speaker 4 (01:32:10):
They already mind everything they needed to up there.
Speaker 3 (01:32:11):
Well, because Groo took it from just biogle meats and
then he had the blow up moon that he put
in place. If they landed rocket ship on it, it's
gonna pop it. And they're like, fuck, the Moon's been
faked this whole time.
Speaker 8 (01:32:22):
How long?
Speaker 1 (01:32:24):
I think two thousand and eleven was when the first
movie came out, so at least that long.
Speaker 5 (01:32:28):
What if they just filled in that divot in the
duth Star and it's just it is a big space station,
but they covered it in because George Lucas was onto them.
That's why he made Star Wars.
Speaker 3 (01:32:37):
It was like his star Base. Yeah, but instead of
make it, he's like, we can't go full planet, that's
too big. We go moon size planet and all right, Yeah,
just cover the cover the laser.
Speaker 4 (01:32:48):
That's small moon over there. That's no moon.
Speaker 3 (01:32:50):
That's not a moon. That's a space station.
Speaker 1 (01:32:57):
That's what he says, right, Yeah, No, there's Robert Goods
inside the moon.
Speaker 4 (01:33:03):
Yeah, it's just more moon.
Speaker 1 (01:33:04):
It's more moon and rock.
Speaker 4 (01:33:06):
It's a dead planet.
Speaker 1 (01:33:07):
Because all I know is like it was like, oh
look at his moon.
Speaker 3 (01:33:09):
Rock.
Speaker 1 (01:33:11):
That's all the moon seems to have.
Speaker 4 (01:33:13):
See, that's what like.
Speaker 5 (01:33:14):
We're in the hospitable zone the Earth. You know, we've
got plants, water, atmosphere, all that shit. The moon is
just far enough away to where no life could grow there. Yeah,
we can make it there and back in ten days.
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:33:30):
Yeah, but can we get from that?
Speaker 5 (01:33:32):
Don't understand rockets and speed and space? It's all crazy?
Speaker 3 (01:33:39):
Or are we all? Are we just doing this for
a green screen.
Speaker 5 (01:33:42):
Maybe that's where Elon is keeping all of his ten
thousand children. It's inside the moon.
Speaker 3 (01:33:48):
Elon would have been a kind of grew type guy.
I feel like, come on, girls, I'm not goirls. I
need a boy who could get it on my legacy.
You girls will have to change or last names. No
good for the Mosque family, but just that in South
Africa accent instead. I wasn't gonna work in a South
(01:34:08):
African accent. It's been a while since I've seen Russia
or lethal weapon two. I only know that South Africa.
My only go to is just pretending that brooks Keopka's
brooks Kipka, which still isn't really great. All right, So
more moon, more moon, perfect answer with more of that stuff.
What's in the moon? More of it? All right?
Speaker 1 (01:34:31):
Last question of the week, it's from Aaron Janizewski, and
Aaron said, we're just gonna call me Aaron j.
Speaker 3 (01:34:39):
Aaron says, how did Hawaii end up with a monopoly
on all tropical themed button down shirts when there are
so many other tropical places that were around before? That
is a good point, it is I actually went down
a rabbit hole on this and why is the leading
the leading place in eachwhere?
Speaker 1 (01:35:01):
So hear me out here, me out this is this
is a rabbit hole. I really went out. I have
a whole I was working on a chart. It was well,
I was working. I had a whole chart on my
computer and then I just was like, I'm just gonna
write it down.
Speaker 3 (01:35:11):
A chart, all right, So tropical like like Hawaii obviously
monopoly on shirts, Hawaiian shirts, but there's never like a
Tahiti shirt or anything. Why do we just call them
Hawaiian shirts probab because they marketed it better. Hats, though,
the Panamanian's got that. You got the Panama hat, So
hats tropical beach hats dominated by Panama. A Panama hat,
(01:35:32):
look it up. You'll know it's like, uh, like a
straw like fedore looking hat, but it's like a longer
brim than.
Speaker 4 (01:35:43):
So basically the hat that the rich guy wore from
Jurassic Park.
Speaker 1 (01:35:48):
Sort of.
Speaker 3 (01:35:48):
Yeah, Panama hat, you'll know what we're talking about. So
Panama owns hats, sunglasses. Maui Jim also Hawaii, so Hawaii
has and that's not aimed after a place like a beach.
That's truly what's going with some guys is Mali Jim Hawaii.
That Hawaii also gets shirts. Pants. Capri pants would be
(01:36:09):
your tropical beach pants. The Isle of Capri Italy, so
Italy gets pants and then sandals. Jamaica would then get
the shoes. If you're like, oh, I like that, that's
a place whatever. Malibu sandals are also a type, so
then that's California. So the United States dominates tropical beach
wear in that whole market. Hawaii just absolutely having a
(01:36:31):
monopoly on like every tropical themed button down is a
Hawaiian shirt. That's insane that like no other place. Was like,
what if we just market these our way? Hawaiians were like, no, no, no, no, no,
got a palm, try on it. And it's a colorful shirt.
That's a fucking Hawaiian shirt. Dude, I got it in.
It's a rubin shirt. No, no, no, Hawaiian shirt that
(01:36:51):
you got in Aruba.
Speaker 5 (01:36:53):
Hawaiian's a bunch of big guys need shirts that breathe
well and are flowy and can open in the front
for when you're on the beach.
Speaker 3 (01:36:58):
Hawaiian shirt, like the Gulf of America beat shirts, that's
what they like. What do we just call it Hawaiian shirts?
And then everybody's yeah, right, and we did. The whole
world did capitalism. Baby.
Speaker 4 (01:37:14):
It's all about branding.
Speaker 5 (01:37:15):
That's where like Red Bull they're not the best energy drink,
they were first of the market, so they were the
first to be Hawaiian shirt.
Speaker 4 (01:37:23):
That's what it's called.
Speaker 3 (01:37:25):
It's all about branding. Yeah, it's it's crazy though to
think about. And I hadn't really thought about it until
Aaron said something and I was like, you're right, yeah,
like we don't. I never ever thought about like, oh,
that's just a Hawaiian shirt, like I have a New
York Giants Hawaiian shirt, not like a not a Jersey
shore shirt.
Speaker 4 (01:37:46):
You said it.
Speaker 3 (01:37:46):
I just had to go to Google Maps and swipe out, Yeah,
Gulf of America.
Speaker 4 (01:37:50):
I forgot about that.
Speaker 3 (01:37:51):
So if you just call it that, I guess everybody's
gonna call it. Like a Tahiti shirt could have been
the name of it. Heati was probably around way before.
Speaker 5 (01:37:57):
I wonder if, like, as soon as I cross over
into Mexico, if like my Google Maps will update and
it'll just be called Gulf of Mexico again.
Speaker 3 (01:38:04):
It might, It might, but yeah, why does it up
with with the monopoly on all tropical theme shirts?
Speaker 1 (01:38:15):
Because why sounds cool?
Speaker 3 (01:38:19):
But really, any beach town that had said, like if
it was a Venice Beach shirt, people would have probably
been like, hell, yeah, it's the Venice Beach shrip. But
Hawaiian shirt, Like everybody probably wants to go to Hawaii.
Speaker 5 (01:38:29):
You're there on vacation to wear on vacation. You're not
gonna it's on everyday? Shirt should be I should just start.
I should be going Awaiian shirt guy.
Speaker 3 (01:38:39):
You should be a Hawaiian shirt guy.
Speaker 4 (01:38:41):
They breathe. Yeah, they're big, that's the big part.
Speaker 3 (01:38:44):
They're big. Why is it not like a Keys shirt?
Like you like the Florida Keys really missed an opportunity.
Speaker 5 (01:38:50):
It's really humid there too. Hawaii it's nice and breezy.
It is just tropical.
Speaker 3 (01:38:54):
Man.
Speaker 4 (01:38:55):
It fits you're there on vacation.
Speaker 1 (01:38:57):
Seems like a fun Why couldn't have been a Jamaican shirt?
Speaker 4 (01:39:01):
They're not green for the most part.
Speaker 3 (01:39:03):
They don't have to be green.
Speaker 1 (01:39:05):
They mean any color.
Speaker 4 (01:39:06):
They'd likely the green. Mind, Well, they could.
Speaker 1 (01:39:08):
Add green to it. A lot of the flowers are
on there are green.
Speaker 3 (01:39:13):
That'd be great Hawaiian shirt in Jamaica.
Speaker 1 (01:39:15):
And it's just covered with fucking buds. I bet they have.
Speaker 3 (01:39:18):
That's Hawaii is just really good at marketing. I mean,
obviously they have the sunglasses tropical market down too. So yeah,
Panama has hats, Hawaii has sunglasses shirts, Italy's got pants,
and then Jamaica is gonna have the sandals. So you
with that. But interesting observation, and I would just say
(01:39:39):
that Hawaii's got the monopoly on it because they're better
at marketing than everybody else. They're American, and America rocks
and Hawaii also rocks. So yeah, great question, that was
a good one. And great that was a good one,
