Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bravy Gang, Gang Gang.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Baby Powder top and lead spread. As we listen, it's
a past the grave Grave we go and fishing for
your bitch today with Chunk and Houston Houston Bay.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
Now we go ahead and let camp. We'll get rich today.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
It's Bitch, Gravy, Gravy, Gravy Gang. What is going on? Everybody?
Speaker 3 (00:34):
It is pasted the Gravy episode number six hundred and
seventy three. And we think we're back. We think we're
back this week. Right, we are we I we we
were also here last week.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Yeah, we're we're back. We are here.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
This is the scariest part because right now we're doing
the thing, and then I'm hoping that that thing will
then be able to be given to other people. So
right now I am as anxious as I've ever been
in my entire life. I'm pretty calm. Yeah, yeah, you
know that's how I am. Yeah, So we apologize about
last week. We had a little I don't know whatever
it was. It was a whole thing, but we got
(01:09):
our Fourth of July special, So hopefully you guys are
enjoying our fourth of July special right now, because when
we have a backup episode ready to go if if
it doesn't go that way. Happy Fourth of July week, Pat.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Happy week of the fourth sir.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah, the fourth be with you, and may the fourth
of July be with you as well.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
That sweet thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Yeah, that means a lot, thanks man, dude. No, it's
my favorite holiday. It is my favorite holiday of the year.
I know people say Christmas is the best. I think
Fourth of July because it's the greatest country in the world. No,
you just celebrate. You get hot dogs, you get fireworks,
you get all the stuff you need to drink with
your buddies. You eat to do it all. I'm gonna have
a seventy foot slipping side going down. That's gonna be legit.
I'm so fucking stoked.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yeah, it's it's either the Fourth ords Thanksgiving. Those are
the two best holidays, and then there's a wide gap.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Fair I'm I'm with you on those people.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
You know outside summer cold beers all. Yeah, Thanksgiving as.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Football, thanks eving to have football and food, food and
football and really important. That's part Like that's for the July,
for the July, which is a very food related hot
it witch. By the way, since we're in the pre
come segment. Let's just hop right into it. I'm Alex
the Moondog Middleton. This is uh Pat the sun Dog Dion.
By the way, if you're new here at Alex J.
Middleton at not Pat Dion for the July this weekend?
(02:26):
Is it an American to substitute brats for hot dogs
on Fourth of July?
Speaker 1 (02:33):
No, it's just an upscale hot dog, That's what I thought.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
And I understand like that Wisconsin and up north the
beer brought I get that, but it is kind of
a German thing.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
So here's like everything not everything, but like most things
in America, they originated somewhere else and we made them better. Yeah,
Germans had brought worse, you know, we did. We stuck
them in between a sour dough bun and turned it
into a handheld meal.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
And like stabbed it and we're like, let's put beer
on it.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Yeah, I mean, I'm sure the Germans, but we could.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
I'd like to say, I'd like to think we did.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
We stuffed cheese inside of it.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
That's true. So it is except that. But I mean,
like I have no like because I was talking to
I was talking to somebody going up this weekend that
I'm hanging out and they were like, what if we
did brots too? I was like, I mean, I really
have a hot dog just because, like I get it,
brots are way better than hot dogs. But something about
just like having lips and assholes for the Fourth of July,
(03:26):
you know, it's like, that's just that's the American part
of it. I want. I want the hot dogness of it.
I want the bologna of the hot dog, you know.
I want that. And I'm not saying I don't appreciate
a broth, just saying the hot dog I could. I
could house ten of those bad boys. They're gonna do
two to three broths.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
I mean that might be the The good thing about
the broad is that it'll stop you from eating fifteen
hot dogs. Yeah, you just have four or five brots instead,
because it's bigger. It's feel. It's just it's more of
the adult hot dog. You gotta have the dogs for
the kids around, and let's be honest, the adults are
probably gonna take down some glizzies too, you got well it,
it's great to have the prop worst available as well.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
I get why people don't like hot dogs. I understand
why people are anti hot dog. I think, don't be
a bitch. I think it's for the Fourth of July.
It's for your country. You know, you gotta make sacrifices. Yeah,
I mean, although I could do go burger too. That's
the best thing about fourth The gily people were like,
do a burger dog. You're like, how about both?
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Somebody shows up with some potato salad and you're like, fucky.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
This weekend we were excited about. Like I was talking
to the boys we were playing on an Xbox. I
was like, yo, if we did all burgers and dogs
all like, we're going up Thursday night, We're gonna have Friday,
We're gonna have Saturday. We're I go back late Sunday.
I was like, dude, if we did all burgers dogs
all weekend, and I was like, we could do like
different kinds of burgers, Like we could do like the
like holapeno burgers. We could do smash burgers.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Hey, so do a Caesl burger.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
That would be sick. I was talking about the Juicy Lucy.
I saw a thing where you could order it and
you could inject it, where you put the cheese in it.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
What you do is you just form two patties. Put
the cheese in the beginning, pinch the edges.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
You pitch, then you made the ball and you did
that and then you just kind of switched it down
on the grill and held it in.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
She got the cheese in the middle.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
But I was like, we could do dogs, and they
could do like some sour crowd on some of the dogs.
You could do the brotz if you want to switch
it up. And then then the women turns out, no,
we don't want our kids only eating.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
Hot dogs all weekend. And I was like, they're gonna
do that anyways.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
They're kids. The kids, what do they eat most of
the time. Dino nuggies and fucking macan.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Cheese, not a lot like pouches. My kids eat pouches
all the time.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Dude, like like zins.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
No, that's I got, Like, I'm not allowed to do
that either. Fucking this house is a prison.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Are so oppressed.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
This is a fucking prison, is what it is. No,
Like they'll like they look like caprices, but you just
stuck on the pouch.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yeah, I get I see kids eating those, and I
get jealous because I'm like, I bet that apples all
slaps so fucking.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Some of it's like a full meal. Like there's like
a Mexican chicken one that I was giving my daughter
the other night, and I was like, this seems gross
to just be drinking.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
So what I'm taking from this it's basically your age.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
Shit.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
They're mrs Yeah. You start to mix anything, They're like, hey,
you know, how could we feed a bunch of children,
but do it in a way that would be cost
efficient for the government. Also, just blend it and put
it into a pouch and them suck it out. It's
you're just having kids eat MRIs.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
They pretty much just look up like, all right, well
this has got like beats in it and asparagus some fruit,
and you're like, okay, well they need all those things,
so I guess it's healthy.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
Beats are great. Plus they turn your mouth already and
you're like, it looks like I've got a bluff.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Yeah, And sometimes your kid doesn't want to eat anything
and they just make a big mass you just like
if you do a cold patch, like you get up
and then they do a patch. We have we just
have a we have warm patches. We have cold patches,
and warm patches are just room temperature patches. But my
kid is very specific about which one she wants when
she wants one.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Well, I mean, yeah, I get it. I'm I'm a
cold food enjoyer. Yeah, there's a lot of time if
it's out of the fridge, I'm not gonna heat it up.
Partially out of laziness, but partially I like cold food
that's fair, like food that's like everyone eats old pizza.
But honestly, I think a lot of the time, next
day pizza better cold than heated back up.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
I think I don't disagree with you in that I
think cold wings are also very good by themselves as well.
Slap cold fried chicken, cold pasta. I feel like twenty
soprano whenever I'm doing that.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
There's some Italians that just turned off the podcast after
hearing that that's okay.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
I like to do the pizza where you get, like,
you get two slices and you throw them in the
microwave and you heat it up, and then you're just
wolfing down one while you're waiting for the mide, and
you're like, well, I mean we have three now.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
But yeah, I'm gonna have three. Let me heat it
two this.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Because they're heating up. But I need an appetizing pizza.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Oh yeah, this slice, No, this.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Is the this doesn't count. This is this is this.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
What I'm probably gonna eat a cold fourth slice after
absolutely absolutely that's dessert. Dessert supposed to be cold.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Dessert is supposed to be cold.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
I fucking I bought a tub of ice cream the
other day, so I was like, you know, let me
let me have some dessert around the house. I like
a cold snack at the end of the night. I
was high, and I was like, I'm just gonna take
like two or three bites and then finish the show
and go to bed. I think I sat there on
my counter eating ice cream out of the tub for
like legitimately twenty five minutes straight.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Do you do the thing where like when I get
to like pint, I'll do like where you just take
a little sliver of it off the top with the spoon,
so then you start like taking less than that stick.
This isn't actually bad. I'm just getting to like halfway
and then you're like, oh shit, I'm like way past
halfway now.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Yeah, but I did it.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Finish it.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
I did it with the full half gallon, and I
think I ate half of the half gallon last night
just it was dude, spoon after spoon, It's continuous for
no joke, over twenty minutes, continuously, and it was like
this was at like two thirty in the morning, so
all of a sudden, it was almost three, and I
was like, I gotta finish this fucking episode. Not episode,
I'm rewatching Hunger Games.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Oh slack, dude. I fucking love Hunger Games. It's so good.
Every time it comes on TV. I'm like, you know
what I could do? Burn through all the movies. Did
you watch the prequel Fire and Dragons or.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
I haven't seen it yet. So I'm gonna watch these
and then I'm gonna watch the prequel.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
It's really long.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
That's cool.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
I like long movies. It's really long. It's good. I
like long movies. I just have to get started on them.
And I'm really bad at being like, do I have
three hours?
Speaker 1 (09:05):
See, that's the thing I always do well, But like.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
I always value my time more than I really have it,
where I'm like, I do have three hours, but like
I'm like, but that's me committing for three hours, where
I could also just watch six episodes of a thirty
minute show. Yeah, I mean, and I will end up
doing that it's dead, which doesn't accomplish anything more.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
I should have gone to bed at like one two
o'clock last I think I started the first Hunger Games
movie at like oh no, I had started it last night.
I had like thirty minutes left. I turned it on
at one am last night and then watched the entire
second one I opened this morning.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
The second one might be the best.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
My first alarm went off at seven forty five. I
went to bed at four just because I was like, well,
I want to keep I even started the third one.
Got two minutes into it. I was like, what am
I doing? Go to bed? Go to bet and then
I went to bed. It's all right, you know, that's
always have time, because even if I want to start
a movie at midnight, like it's three and a half
hour movie, I'm gonna go to bed at three o'clock anywhere,
(10:00):
You're good, fuck it. That's how I watch a lot
of shit. Now. Yeah, it's the perks of not having children.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Well, I get to do it really late too, but
just like but.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Then you get woken up early. Also, the only time
I wake up early is when it's five am and
I'm like, I'm about to shit in my bed and
then I just pop and then I crawl back up
and get back to bed. It's all good, all nice
and clean. From my I'm a bidet boy. Now it
is a day boy finally hooked it up. I think
I think I bought it what six months.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
Ago, but we did do a whole bit on this
last week. You guys just can get to hear it,
but tell me about it.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
But uh, yeah, I finally got the bidet all hooked up.
It's incredible. I understand the appeal. I am now telling
everybody get one. It's great. The only downside is it's
really weird wiping a wet asshole because you're like, oh,
I'm touching my butt and there's a lot of liquid there.
Your brain's like that's bad, that's real that, but you
(10:54):
also realize, like, but this is the cleanest my butthole
has been since I got out of the shower. So like,
it's a weird sensation to get used to. But do
you get clean and.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
The guys who gave you would have water touched.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Well, it's not like shut up, yeah for one more,
one more day tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
We want the year why is it your favorite month
because it's the end I don't worry about it. Is
it the end of it?
Speaker 1 (11:22):
No, it's my birthday month, that's why. Yeah. But yeah, no,
if you're if you're that worried about the bidet touching
your butthole and it making you have gay feelings, you.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Have, you have, they're there. Seems now that there's anywhere
with that embrace who you are.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Also, you can be straight and have your buttthole played with.
That's okay now personally not for me because I know
what goes on back there. I don't want to do
that to somebody s. But like, that's where the cheese
spot is though. Now granted you'd have to have a
really strong beday to reach your g spot because you're
going in at that point. Okay, yeah, but uh but yeah,
I highly recommend you get a day buddy. It's it's nice.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
I'm gonna save on toilet paper.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Yeah, you should start keeping the track of how much
money you save on toilet paper.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
I mean, I buy it in such bulk it's impossible
to track.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
Yeah, so you're good. Now you have like a year's
worth of toilet paper pretty much. Yeah, eventually.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
But yeah, anybody out there, if you're on the fence,
highly recommend getting Okay, you'll.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Feel so clean, okay, hell yeah, tell yeah, fuck yeah,
hey yeah fuck you dude, hell yeah. All right. I
had some more American themed pre come stuff if you
want to run into that.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
The America the Day's not American day.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
Is pretty merry. Actually, it's very European. It's very French,
very frank.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
We're watching France play Sweden right now.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Yeah, go Sweden.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Fuck you France.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
I did bet France to advance.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
See. I tried to put them in my parlay. It
wanted they want to go through. I had to just
do Mexico and Norway, so go Mexico later. But yeah,
what else, Let's get back on America.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Get back to America. This is just because we were
we were doing a podcast.
Speaker 5 (12:55):
But which founding father do you think would have the
sickest podcast?
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Because I think it really comes down to it's got
to be Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin or Alexander Hamilton's Benny Dude.
Benny would be like he could rant about politics, but
he's also like a tech guy. I think that Thomas
Jefferson would be more of a political podcast. I don't know.
He seems like maybe I don't know if I'd be
(13:20):
as into Thomas Jefferson. I think it would be absolutely
electric sometimes. But then also I think Alexander Hamilton would
be more of the pop culture hip hop. He would
also have like a lot of like drama, like the
drama going on with what's going on with everybody? You know?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Yeah, like TJ, I feel like he's probably a little
nerdier like he like you said, he's deep into the
politics side of it.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
I can also see him being like an Alex Jones,
but like in today's times.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Possibly but but but but Franklin dude, he was like
he's an inventor, so he's got that side of it well.
Traveled around the world, spend a lot of time over
in France being a diplomat with that stuff. Loved Began Howers.
He could have a lot of big prostitute guy you
love well ahead of his time with black women. He
(14:03):
was a big proponent of that. Yeah, like Benny would
be just one.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
Of international relationships.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Bit Big also had the hairstyle that you just don't
see any more, completely bald. On top of just flowing this.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Yeah, just scull it like a motherfuck Oh, such a
good scullt. I just think Hamilton, though, seems like he'd
know all the movies. He'd know all the like everything cool,
he'd be hip. I mean, there's Hamilton might be like
the young Egenner. Hamilton might have like the young Man's game.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
You might need John Hancock in there, because like, really
nobody knows a single thing that guy I ever did
other than sign it Baker. I think he's just that
big personality guy that's like like he could be like
a stadi Like listen, I didn't put any prep into this,
but I'm just gonna show up and be me, be
big and loud. I'm bringing the vibes. Yeah, I think
(14:52):
that could be Hancock.
Speaker 5 (14:53):
Oh, Olivia Rodriguz just on the TV.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
Shut I'm I'm I'm fucking sick of that with Olivia,
not Olivia Rodrigo. I'm sick of the fact that all
they're doing is showing celebrities. The one of the FIFA
World Cup is to let me see hotties from around
the world.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
They did sometimes not enough.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
It used to be that was every time they pant
to the crowd. It was gonna be eat out of
ten times it was hotty. Then sometimes you'd see just
like an old British guy with no shirt on and
body paint. And then sometimes you see kids.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
We're an American, big guy, I dressed his teddy.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
Oh oh, what a shame there, France. You had to
wide up and go and you missed it. Probably shouldn't
be such.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
A little friend bit Jim bitch.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
But yeah, we didn't see more hotties here. I'm pretty
sure I've said that in like three consecutive podcasts.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
Very distracting just watching soccer.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
But yeah, I think old Benny Franklin, he's the He
would be the rogan of the group, you think, so yeah,
knows a little bit about everything.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Mm hmm. But it's also kind of a comedy and
he would just have his guys on. He just have
like he'd start out with like Ari Shafir would be
James Madison.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Yeah, I think everybody on. Some of those guys they
make no fuck the other side.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
I don't like that guy. We're not gonna do it,
But I'm a sure Everyson would isolate a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
I feel like I think him and Hamilton, I feel
like they were on like God, but if you get
Hamilton and build.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
William Berry, Yeah, dude, Hamilton and Aaron Bert would be
a fucking electric podcast.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Like they actually start fighting.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
That'd be so sick.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Imagine how the numbies you would do if somebody got
shot on your podcast and you kept it in.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Yeah, you probably get kicked off of YouTube. But if
you had to, you had to blow that part out.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Might have to put it up on patroons.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
We should see who we can shoot. One of us
should shoot the other one with a bulletproof vest on
the podcast.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
I mean, I'm down.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
It's pretty well. I mean yeah, yeah, okay. Other stuff
I had for pre come segment. Is it more American
to own a flag or a gun?
Speaker 1 (16:56):
You know? I nowadays I think it might be the flag.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
It's more American to own a flag.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Yeah, Now I think the crossover. If you own a gun,
you probably also own a flag as well. But like
so many people have gun, you don't see a lot
of flags anymore. Like growing up, you drive down your
neighborhood street, like every other house had the American flag
on a flag pole flying out the side of it.
I figures just don't see it. As much anymore. We
(17:22):
need more flags.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
It's simpler time.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
Also, you know we were kids right around nine to
eleven and that was a big flag boom.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
Yeah all the time, like big flag was out and
they were selling flags and they'd ever sta gun though.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
Because all these other countries are postseasons just don't have guns.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
You can own a flag pretty much everywhere. Yeah, I
can't own a gun pretty much everywhere. And like, say
what you want about Americans and guns, was like, that's
kind of the thing.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
Yeah, that is our thing. I was overthinking it. It's
definitely owning the gun.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
It is a very American thing to have a flag,
but also American flag. It's not to own a gun
because then you had to go through the like you
had to go and qualify for it and then actually
become a gun owner, like a legal gun owner.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Yeah. I was gonna say, I don't know if other
at least European countries, I don't know if they if
they ball with their flag like we'd.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Over here, like I know, I don't think as much.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Not know Mexico and Canada do because they're right next
to us. But is that just a North American thing
where you're like everything is my flag. I want my flag.
I got my flag. I'm gonna have a flag tattoo everything.
I'm gonna have flag bumper stickers.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Like the Croatians. You see a lot of Croatians with
the checkers you see. I think it's a lot of
people are a big, big flag.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
See it could be everywhere. But here's the thing. If
you're another country not named USA, I don't give a fuck.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Yeah, so I don't need.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
To earn your culture or your customs.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
That's my whole thing with like when they learn all
the cool stuff at the World Cup, it's like, yeah,
did the ship rocks And they're like, well we don't
have those, Like yeah, that must suck to not have
ranch or air conditioning idiots.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
And also when you think about them, though, for three
countries that are next to each other, we probably have
the best grouping of three flags in the entire world. Yeah,
because like so many other like France, red bar, white bar,
blue bar.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
He really didn't think too much into that Ivory Coast.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
It's the exact same flag as there's nothing to it.
Oh you've got the cool symbol with the fucking eagle
and the and the snake and all that ship.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Just like reversed flags too.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Yeah, I like talking about Canada. Canada's flag is dope
as fuck. That's a dope flag with the maybe on there.
It's great flag combo in North America most other countries,
it's just like, here's some colors. There's nothing to it.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
Yeah, it's true.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
We we really we flag mog the rest.
Speaker 5 (19:36):
Of the We do flag mog the rest of the world.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
This is like the fifth time Pats used the word
mog since I've been around him today. Yeah, dude, I
think you might be added to that word.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Yeah, I'm hip. It has nothing to get about to
turn thirty six and I'm worrying about my own mortality. No, dude,
I'm just I'm hip. That's all it is.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
Okay, we would you have for pre come segment?
Speaker 1 (19:56):
I was it's actually a bit of an offshoot of
the gun thing I was thinking about the today. So
Ja Morant got traded to the Trailblazers and speaking of guns, Yeah, Jamrant, big,
big big gun guy, big Second Amendment rights Portland not
big on the two A. That's why do you think
what not do you think are the chances? What do
you think is the percentage probability that before he's out
(20:20):
of Portland he gets a federal gun charge for carrying
something that he's not supposed to because like, also, you know,
you know, all that guy's guns are not registered, and
bringing an unregisedun across state lines is a federal penalty.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
He's rich enough to own registered guns.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
But he's also dumb enough to get caught with them.
Speaker 5 (20:39):
Yeah, because that was the all thing is that he's
like just flashing them in like Instagram.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
So like, hey, you're not allowed to do gun celebrations,
and then he did like three more after that, and
like I like that that.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Was cool, very cool, very stupid is all of cool.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
So I think there's a good chance that he's gonna
end up getting a federal gun penalty before that. Like also,
you know, if you're if you're Portland, why are you
making that trade? You gotta know your environment, know your city.
Speaker 5 (21:04):
Ending a gun guy, it's a ticking time bomb.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
I mean, great for us because it's gonna be content
down the line gun but sure is also yeah broke.
Today Kawhi is going back to Toronto. How funny would
it be if he won another title there then immediately
left again. If he was just like listen, Drake won't
stop calling me. I can't stay here. But I like company, Oh,
(21:31):
they got plenty of trees up and can't you know
he's just gonna get maple trees.
Speaker 5 (21:36):
The shell company that pays them.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
All right, But I.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Think and then we just got we're just gambling, Malik Beasley.
He's going he's gonna go to federal prison. All these
NBA players make so much money and they're like, listen,
but like it's not as much as he thinks.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Sports bet well, I think they like, we're gonna have
all this stuff happen, and all it is getting like,
I don't think this is gonna be an all way
is thing. I think we're in the infancy of sports
betting being legal, and you're gonna have all this fucked
up ship and.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
There's too many guys for to not happen.
Speaker 5 (22:09):
Probably already going on.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
Well, no, I just mean along the minor leagues. Two.
Speaker 5 (22:15):
I think show he was maybe gambling on games that
he was a part of.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
I don't know about that.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
I bring that up. You always seen a horse track.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
I don't know. Maybe if they had pie goal they
I don't know what it is, but it looks electric.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
If you ever see Piga, I've always wanted to play.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
What's going on?
Speaker 3 (22:37):
I'm not hating it all out?
Speaker 1 (22:41):
The most fun to say, gambling game.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Yeah, craps and pie gow Oh yeah, craps. Craps is cool,
crapped out. Yeah. And then what's the one when you're
like at the buffet where it's just the numbers on
the thing on the wall. I don't know what that is.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
That's another one I don't understand.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
I understand it either, but it looks like bingo and
it seems like I could. It seems easy to figure
out because you always just take an old guy win in.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Yeah. So I don't want to learn how to play
on because I'm like, that's just more places for me
to lose.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
That's exactly how I am to Like, I could just
go to the casino, I can watch games and I'm done, Like,
I can lose my three hundred dollars in three hours,
or I could lose my three hundred dollars and ten
minutes at blackjack table.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
That's a great thing about sports betting is you got
to stop betting for a while and watch it. Unless
you're just hammering livelines.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
Yeah, we've done it happened, but for.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
The most part, you're like, Okay, here's my bet, let
me sweat it out for.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
A couple hours pretty much pretty much.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
The gambling games. That's where they get you.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
All right, Well, that was the precome segment. Let's move
on now to the comeback hit sament, where we tell
you what's back in the news according to us, it
brought to you by the Past the Gravy Merch Store,

Speaker 5 (23:53):

not put out an.
Speaker 3 (23:56):

do that, but we're hoping that doesn't happen again. And

can prevent that happening. Body help helping us buy some

Past the Gravy Merch dot Com. I was hanging out
(24:18):
with our buddy Mundo the other night and he was
trying to get me to do a past the Gavy
Lotaria card. Oh, that's like the Texian card game. Looks
pretty sick, he sent me in design I'm working on that.
He was rocking his h i pee and pools past
listening to Past the Gavy and that's pretty funny. That
(24:39):
always hits. Shout out to Mundo for repping the pod.
Brenda was rocking past the Gavy flag at at the
FIFA FanFest fucking earlier in the week, so shout out
to her and her husband. They rock. But past the
Gravy Merch dot com you want to support the pod,
help keep the lights on a little bit again. We're

your past the gravy gear, repping the flag, waving those

Speaker 5 (25:08):

good time, all right. Past Gravy Merch guaranteed fun stuff
and guaranteed to be super comfy clothes. Those shorts I

on the planet. They got the little back pocket to
great rock around the house doing whatever you're doing past

(25:31):
Comeback Kids segment. It's the Comeback Kid, the Comeback Kid
of the Week, Comeback Kid of the Week, bitch, and
our comeback Kid this week. Obviously, first one is gonna
(25:51):
be America Happy Birthday.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
I thought I was supposed to be an Eagle. We're
great at Eagle.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Pretty good, Uh pretty good? Uh fifty dude. I was
hearing somebody say that we don't have enough to fifty love,
like we haven't seen it, but like they haven't seen
a bunchet. I was like, I feel we've seen so
much shit.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
I mean, they're not buying boost because I've seen like
nineteen different brands have an official two.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Yeah, every alcohol ever has a two fifty on it,
like all the the US teams that US two fifty stuff.
Speaker 5 (26:24):
Like I feel like I've seen it everywhere. Maybe I'm
just a patriot.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
I don't know what would the two point fifty b
like the one hundred is centennial.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
The Quintus Centennial or something like that. We learned it
on the Red Ryan Show.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
You don't remember exactly.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Well, No, the Somerset Patriots is the Yankees a team
or minor double a team, whatever team it is, and
they are doing uh alternate night. Is the Quintusils or whatever? Also?
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Fuck that? When when did the Yankees stop having all
their minor league teams to be the Yankees? So it
used to be that way.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
Also, they've had the rail Riders forever, they had the
Rumble Ponies for a while.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
All I ever saw was the Yankees, and then like the.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Bent and Thunder, then it used.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
To be the Trent and Yankees. I understand why they
went off of it, because you can do more branding
and shit like that.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
But because I almost bought it, Aaron can't have.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
The Patriots as a minor league team.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
You can't.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
No, you can't.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
Patriots like a Yankee is literally like the.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
New England Patriots. New England and New York don't like
each other.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
Like a Yankee is literally the definition of a Patriot.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
I get it, But the name was claimed by your
rival after after I'm pretty sure the New y England
Patriots have been around longer than your minor league Patriots.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
No, the New York Yankees. I mean I've already had
a team before the Patriots. They get, they get to
say Yankees are stupid.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Judge's never gonna play again.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
The Trent and Thunder was a cool one because it
was the cla It was a scary cloud and the
bat was a like bullet.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Okay, that's pretty sick.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Yeah, I was really saying, should there just.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Been wonder boy as to that from the natural that
have been cool too, But they don't.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
Know about don't they know a lot of things.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
I'll have to think of something to fifty wise, to
do special. Maybe I'll make like two hundred and fifty
grams of jello and eat it all on one city.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
Oh yeah, consume two hundred and fifty thousand calories in
a day.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
I probably did that with the ice peras.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Yeah to night say, yeah, you have to a great start.
Speaker 5 (28:30):
Shoot two hundred and fifty fireworks.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Two hundred and fifty shots for the summer.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Ooh shoot too, I'm well my way already. No, I
meant bullets off. I meant bullets too.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
That's expensive, yeah, but awesome?
Speaker 3 (28:46):
Right enough, And your taxi stated for.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
Two hundred and fifty pounds of tanner right to blow
up a car.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
Yeah, that'd be sick.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
Any rich guys out there that want to blow up
cars and want to buy all the materials and let
us be.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
There, please hit us up. We would love to do
that with you. Also back this week is let's not
forget our king Joey Chestnut.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Dude, he's about to put off.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
The What I love is that you get the people
in town for the World Cup and they're gonna get
to see that and be like, holy shit, this is
what they do.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
I gotta look up what the temperature is gonna be like,
because you know they say that affects them. Where the
temperature is gonna be like on sat the.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
Dog's gonna bena be fast buns, slow buns. If it's
a little moist outside. Sometimes the buns a little spongy,
which is good, but you don't want it to be
hardened buns.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
So it looks like a little lightning and thunder. But
a high of ninety two, that's fun weather, baby, especially
if it's like.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
A little bit little sponge.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
If it's a little bit of a rain, like a
light rain.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
The problem is that it will soften up the bunch
if it's if it's light rain but the sun comes out,
that's when that's when it gets hardened, and that's gonna
make the numbers go down.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
But that's when Joey's gonna have just a secretariat performance.
We're like, it's gonna slow down everyone else significantly. You
can't stop the going.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
We thought he was in the prime of his career,
and he was, and then you thought he was passing
his prime, and then it's like he might be back
in his prime.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
He's like he's like Tom Brady, he's in his third prime.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
Like he's not like as good as he ever was,
but like he's pretty goddamn good. And when you're the goat,
then like the drop off isn't that bad?
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Imagine being so good at somebody as something the only
person that is your competition is yourself from the previous year.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Yeah, Kobe Ash, you remember, like that's gonna be the
guy and like, yeah, right, dude, fuck you.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
And what did Kobyashi win? Like three times? Maybe four?
Speaker 3 (30:30):
Like sixteen, Yeah, he had the COVID year and then
the sponsorship year.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Just the goat of goats completely unstoppable.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
He won the COVID actually, but yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Mean it's a wider margin for his greatness than there
even was a tiger at his peak.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
Oh yeah, because you know they're like, they're like Phil
other guys like that around them, but just Joey Chestnut,
I mean, eck, the guy, uh that wife is the
women's champion. He always plays. There's the guy that wears
the red Sox hat something.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
It's the giant black dude, still doing it. I love
that guy. He's like, that's four.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
That's the lemonade guy.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
I love that guy.
Speaker 3 (31:14):
I think he does both, but he does. He just
does the fastest limonade chug and just does like a
gallon of lemonade.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
How did you train for this? I've been pre diabetes
since I was thirteen years old.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
I am three hundred and fifty pounds.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
That dude's bigger than three fifty.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
That being chill, he's probably three fifty right now because
he had to cut weight. He's got weight getting ready
for this weekend.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
He cuts weight by only eating three rotistory chickens a
day instead of six.
Speaker 3 (31:38):
That's crazy, though. Shout out to Joey chest that dude.
He propped out the hot Dog, getting early nominee for
Athlete of the Air Right. Fireworks are also back. I've
always not I've never been an anti fireworks guy. I've
always been like, I just don't buy fireworks. Guy. I
don't have a problem with you buy fireworks. I think
fireworks are sick. It's too fifty fiftieth anniversary of our
(32:02):
great nation. I'm gonna fucking buy fireworks this year.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
I assume there's gonna be a bunch going on. You know,
this is my first year being here for the fourth
in the I guess this is my first year in
the apartment. They put out a note, Hey, just reminder
to everyone no fireworks. That nobody ever listened.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
It's the It's the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of
our country. All right, I can do whatever I want.
Shut up? What are you British? It's un American. Now.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
You know what, Maybe I'll make like Margarita to put
pop rocks in it.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
Yeah, it's like that'd be cool. Get a watermelon, mouth,
see a watermelon, put the pop rocks in that.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
Bad boy. I might have to get a watermelon and
soak it with booze for the next two years, so
it's ready for Saturday. Perfect. Oh, I haven't had a
boozy watermelon in like twelve years.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
Since I that'd be a lot of fun. But I'm
excited about fireworks. I'm not gonna go crazy, but I
want to. I want to fire some watershells. And then
I'm a sucker for if they have like a specialty thing,
I'm going to spend one hundred dollars. I'm buying the
specialty thing and be like, oh, it's the shape of
a bald eagle.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Yeah, the two fifty only comes around one time.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
And this was an Uncle Sam that you could blow
the hat off, Like, I'm gonna buy that. This is
how it is. I'm sorry, this is the rules.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
So I fucking love fires.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
But yeah, fireworks you're back. Watch out, be careful everybody
with your fireworks. Don't be a JPP.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
And I think Ashos are at home on Saturday, right.
I think I saw that they're having fireworks Friday and Saturday.
Speaker 5 (33:25):
Yeah, so they like seventeen dollars and seventy six cent ticket.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
That's so fucking awesome too, hot dogs. Can you imagine
how bad it would suck to not be an American?
Speaker 5 (33:34):
Would really suck. It really really suck. Four fire weeks.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
Fireworks or fireworks, you're back. Lebron is also back.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Mm hmm. Made his announcement that he will not be
going back to the Lakers next year, but he will
be playing. And it's to go. Such a good guy
of him to let them know that that he's you know,
go do what you need to do. Go in a
different direction. I'm not resigning. But also Lebron possibly up
for that of the year because he waited to make
that announcement until the day after his son's contract became guaranteed.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
I didn't realize that.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
Yeah, so yes, it's funny Lebron announced this morning.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
I did not realize that.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
Yesterday his son's two point three million dollar contract became guaranteed,
which if you listen to all the former NBA players, Yeah,
but look two point three he's really only making like
one million dollars. Okay, so he's making a million dollars
next year and not play sick, he's not on the team.
Speaker 5 (34:34):
He's also Lebron James's kids.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
I don't think he's like it or yeah, and Lebron
isn't one of those dickheads that's come out. My kids
aren't going to get any of my money. They're gonna
have to work for their own shut up, shut up.
Why did you make all that money? Give your kids
some money, make him work.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Yeah, but that's still cool that like that's a cool
dad move.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
Oh yeah, Like that's what I'm saying. I love shit
on Lebron, but I'll give him his problem when he
gets it. That puts some square in the contention for
Dat of the Year.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Yeah, just like Joe Biden last year whenever he was
pardoning Hunter, Like, I get it. I would do the
same thing.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
And I'm sure the Lakers don't really care anyway. They're like,
it's a two point three million dollar contract.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
That's nothing for the Lakers.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
That's basically the league minimum.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
Yeah, it's like a fart from Luca.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
It means nothing. They can still cut him anyway. They
probably still will cut him.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
Well, he'll go to wherever Lebron goes.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
I don't think so. I mean, so.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
They're going to the Warriors.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
He shouldn't.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
He's going to Warriors.
Speaker 1 (35:33):
So I would love for Steph to come out and
just pick Yeah, we don't want you, Lebron, because you're
if you don't want to take league minimum or VET minimum.
We're not going to give you fifty million dollars to
play half the year.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
I think he's going to.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
I'm sure he isn't. David. If Steph was just like, no,
not doing it?
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Yeah you think they do, fuck you? But then they
could resign Draymond for Yeah, that would be that would
be the cool move, have your farewell tour, but it
don't like, yeah, like you should have just done that
as a Laker and now you're not unless you go
back and you you But then again it'll be like, oh,
how many fucking times are you to go back to
(36:13):
the Cavs.
Speaker 1 (36:13):
Bro, That would be funny if no other teams want
to sign him and he won't take the VET minimum,
so like he has to go back to the Lakers.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
Yes, like Israel and play Wait is there a pat
bad player he's gonna get?
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Like full ownership is New Zealand Breakers, Oh.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Yeah, Ape is for like like Basketball Club Barcelona.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
Old chairman chairman Lebron. Maybe he should just go buy
a team in China since he loves them.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
He does love China. He does love China. Yeah, Lebron's back.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
Go to one year in China, he's or like two
or three years in China. He's forty five years old.
Still dropping fifty six points on twenty minutes, right, that
would be outstanding. But yeah, Lebron's back. Shout out Lebron
doing right by his kid.
Speaker 5 (37:00):
Tennis is back, which means it's Sports Center's end in
the mornings.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
I don't have a problem with tennis. I don't have
a problem with tennis.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
Hate it.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
I just I want to watch Sports Center in the morning. Okay,
I just want to watch Sports Center. And I feel
like I should be able to watch Sports Center without
having Tennis to shave down my throat. And I get it.
I could find it online. I don't want to, though.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
Yeah, I don't want to have to go to YouTube
being able to watch fucking sports.
Speaker 3 (37:22):
I want to just yeah, I just want to watch it.
People hit six three three sports in the morning. It's
all I want. I'm a simple man.
Speaker 1 (37:27):
No, they're like, oh, do you want to see Greeney
on first hit? No, I've never wanted, not go it,
never one time, don't need it. It's I fucking hate tennis.
They they need to baseball their sport. Just be like,
all right, we're cutting it in the half.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
Make it cooler.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
No longer are these matches gonna last four to seven hours?
Two hour time limit on the matches. Whoever's in the lead.
At the end of two hours, you just win.
Speaker 3 (37:52):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
It's they're too banana ba and understand people like, yeah,
but when the finale just goes into like the ninth
that they're going on five and a half hours and
the guys are exhausted and they're still blowing out, Yeah,
it's impressive. I don't care. It's too sucky and boring
of a sport for it to go on for that
many hours. Yeah, it needs a hard cap at two.
Speaker 3 (38:16):
Yeah, all the dudes should play three sets.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
Yeah, they play three hours. You get two highlights out
of it.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
How is that even possible? No, you get a lot
of volleys and stuff that and in the second set
that says, when so and so volleys so and so
and it got him right here.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
Oh yeah, cool with that back and I got the
Tennis is one of those sports where like the top
end guys makes so much money. But I'm just like,
this just proves that the rest of the sport or
the rest of the world has shitty sports because who
the fuck loves tennis.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
I think that it's just it's like you guys are
watching crickets, like.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
I understand people in New York, but yeah, but like
the New York opener were us like it's it's a
whole event. Like when you're there, it's cool. I get it,
but like, fuck that tennis blows.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
It's can be cool, it's just not when it's ruinning
Sports Center. And that's that's my take on it.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
That's the main reason I hate it because in high
school I wanted to watch sports in the morning.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
Before still at work, I wanted to watch this.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
Would be on, and that was back when there was
just two channels. Yeah, and both of them would have
fucking Wimbledon on and hate it forever because of that.
Speaker 3 (39:28):
Abolish the sport. Wimbledon. Serena Williams is back last week.
You guys just didn't didn't get to hear that.
Speaker 5 (39:37):
It makes me sad any time I think about it.
Speaker 3 (39:41):
Also, back is love. Love is back because Travis and
Taylor Swifter getting married this weekend, and I just I've
been waiting for this for so long.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
Are they really doing it?
Speaker 3 (39:53):
I think so?
Speaker 1 (39:54):
Are they getting married at MSG, or are they getting
married somewhere else.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
They're getting married.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
Out, or they're getting married somewhere else, and then they're
gonna have like a big party.
Speaker 3 (40:01):
I think they're definitely gonna a big party at MSG.
Speaker 1 (40:06):
How many people do they have to be? Like listen, yeah, no,
you're invited, but we need you to perform and we're
not paying you. You're getting paid with getting to come
to my wedding.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
Tim McGraw and Stevie Nicks which I called Stevie Nicks
a couple of weeks ago being one of the people
because yeah, I was like, I know what she's doing.
Speaker 5 (40:26):
Stevie Nixon's Nicole Cadman will probably be there.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
Imagine being a celeb that doesn't get invited. It's a
lot like there's there's room, it's Madison Square Garden.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
Yeah, if they don't know you, that's.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
What I'm saying. Someone that they know and yeah, I
guess list you're like Taylor is definitely gonna write a
song about me.
Speaker 3 (40:52):
With Justin Baldon. He's probably not getting an invite.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
What if she invited him though, Like, Hey, here's my
apology for my friend being a fucking bitch.
Speaker 5 (41:02):
Do you think that Mauricia Putchatina is getting an invite?
Speaker 1 (41:06):
I don't think you'd go. He's locked in there.
Speaker 5 (41:08):
He's locked in a World Cup. The US coach I
got rocks.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
God, he's fucking awesome. Look at that hair.
Speaker 3 (41:14):
It's majestic as fuck. But yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
Love is back and love Honestly, she might have the
most American wedding of all time. She's like, listen, we're
in love. We want to celebrate it. How can we
make a billion dollars off of our wedding.
Speaker 3 (41:31):
By selling their photos?
Speaker 1 (41:33):
MSG? I mean that's anybody that wants to hate on it,
you have to respect.
Speaker 3 (41:38):
You can just buy MSG. I mean, Jeff Bezos, but Italy.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
Also the one thing if you want to shoot on
her wedding for this, fuck you for having a wedding over.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
For the July I mean people are off.
Speaker 1 (41:50):
Yeah, four fourth of July.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
Yeah, I get. I get the logic behind all of that,
because you can also just be like it's an easy
out if you're not whining to go to the wedding.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
Yeah, but yeah, but like you can't. You can't barbecue
inside MSG. But you can't.
Speaker 3 (42:07):
You'r tay swift.
Speaker 1 (42:07):
You can pay you just.
Speaker 3 (42:08):
What's the fine for that? Cool here?
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Yeah, roll up to honestly with your own little like
thirty dollars Walmart barbecue.
Speaker 3 (42:16):
Shes got like a big Green Egg or something like that.
They just let you go, not accepting gifts.
Speaker 1 (42:21):
So it's like, okay, well I brought dogs, brought two
hundred and fifty hot dogs.
Speaker 3 (42:25):
Big your concessions there, I'll be growing up over here.
Just go behind the turn the concession stuffs on.
Speaker 1 (42:30):
You're good, you pay the concession. I gotta be like, no, no,
I want a girl.
Speaker 3 (42:33):
I would like to you get out of here.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
Every year before the July I grill. I got invited.
My girl wanted to come to the wedding. I gotta
be here, but I gotta be on the girl to
the flat top. It's probably gonna be such a sick fucking.
Speaker 5 (42:44):
Oh yeah, yeah, it's definitely gonna be.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
Can you do fireworks inside? MSG? I don't think so. No,
they do it in some basketball arenas, like in the playoffs.
You make Oh look, the whole arena looks smoky. Probably
gonna have a sick ass fire I say, or like
they do it outside. Everyone please exit MSG. Outside to
the outside area. We're gonna do fireworks. Now you got
(43:08):
fucking seven thousand people trying to exit the building up.
Speaker 5 (43:10):
They'll just block off the streets and everything.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
It's gonna be such a pain in the ass for
New Yorkers. But I don't care about them, so it's
fine by me. Yeah, shout out Swizzle and Kelsey, shout love.
I hope all the best for them. I have a
long marriage. I hope he retires across.
Speaker 3 (43:29):
Yeah. Shot to Travis and Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1 (43:33):
And the real congratulations go to the Swifties because they
finally get to see her be married. This is all
you've ever wanted.
Speaker 3 (43:39):
And I and also you didn't tear him down when
he doesn't look at her right or something.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
Did you see the way they were standing. He was
really like standing over her and wait a moment.
Speaker 5 (43:49):
The way she stood that was not the way of
somebody that's happy to get married.
Speaker 1 (43:52):
I hope she had Like her dress kind of looks
like shit, though like it won't of course it's no
door dance, but like what if it was a dressed
were even Swifties were like, no, it's it's great. That
was such a beautiful dress, but you could tell they're
all like how that dress was?
Speaker 3 (44:04):
Yeah, they like that didn't slay, but they have to
say it's slayd.
Speaker 1 (44:07):
That'd be really great if she made Ali her bride'smaid's
dresses just the ugliest fucking dresses.
Speaker 3 (44:11):
You could find, but they'll be in like sequence.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
Old school nineties with the big puffy shoulders.
Speaker 5 (44:17):
Yeah, yeah, I can see that, so shout love.
Speaker 3 (44:22):
All right, let's move on, so the Not Cool seven,
where we tell you what's bat or what's what's not
cool with us this week? Or you know what. We
could even expand back into last week too. If you'd
like to participate, hit us up on x RA. At
Past the Grady Pod used the hashtag PTG not cool
and you know, in three four sentences, ish summarize what
(44:44):
you're not cool is. And we will pick some of
the best ones every couple of weeks and read them
on the podcast. Let's try and do that next week
at Past Degrady Pod. Hashtag PTG not cool. This is
the not Cool segment. Cool man, dude, that's not cool?
(45:09):
And I'll start us off with I think it's a
shared now cool. We didn't have we we did a
podcast last week. We went to the radio station, did
the whole thing, and yet it was lost, and yeah,
we we had nothing to show for it.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
Oh, you guys don't even know the good stuff that
you missed. Last week we were on a heater. It
was we were talking dudes.
Speaker 3 (45:32):
We were we ranked the hottest NFL quarterback. Yeah, we
went down a whole rabbit hole and you guys actually
was maybe too long that we spent on that, but
we went back to it like so yeah, but like,
oh but remember him, he's so hot.
Speaker 1 (45:47):
We spent a little bit talking about just hot dude.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
I like when we finished that, I was like, that
was a good one. And I mean I do think
that I think that we've been in a rhythm, but
I sometimes like there's definitely better ones than others, and
they're like, hell, yeah, dude, this one's got this and
this and this, and like it's easy to explain, like
we had like five or six little breakouts. I thought
that little loved But I'm sorry, and we're gonna try
and make sure that doesn't happen. Okay, it was the
(46:11):
first time in over eleven years there we've we've done
a podcast and lost it.
Speaker 5 (46:15):
So we've taken precautions to try and.
Speaker 3 (46:18):
Avoid that ever happening again. But we thank you guys
for sticking with us in tune and in this week.
My other not cool is this was actually not cool
last week for me. You guys didn't hear it, but
somebody got ahold of my card information second time in
two weeks. Well then they did, and they tried to
charge or send somebody Uber cash in Canada and Toronto,
(46:39):
Canada seventy five dollars and twenty nine cents. So last
week I had to get a new card. That was
my whole gripe on not cool last week. And I
got that card finally arrived like Thursday, activated Thursday, Sunday
night again, I get a text from Banking America.
Speaker 5 (46:57):
Like eh, potential fraud alert and it was I was
hanging out with you.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
I was going to pick up pizza with you on
Father's Day at the bar we go to when I
got that text, because I'm going to be like, Pat,
you might have to buy my food because this card
may not go through. And it did then and then
I had to be like yeah, that wasn't me on
the other burches stuff. But so that happened Sunday and
I was like, but it's fourth of July, weck, I
gotta buy shit. I'm going out of town. I got
(47:21):
to do some stuff. I had to order shit online.
I was trying to buy some new podcast material here
for to make sure like we had some failsafs and
stuff like that. And then Bank of America called me,
bleep that out. Weezy's our producer right now today. Wheezy
booped that out, good girl. But yeah, I was like,
(47:41):
I'm just gonna avoid canceling it. And then just every
like thirty minutes just check my bows to make sure
nobody's doing anything. And then finally my bank called me
and I was like, look, dude, I know exactly what
you're calling me. That was not me, but why the
fuck is this happening again? Like how could somebody within
three days have my card and do the exact same thing?
And I it was through.
Speaker 5 (48:00):
Uber cash, so I logged into my uber.
Speaker 3 (48:02):
My uber was like I had to do the two
and three factor authentication thing to get back into my
uber and I was like, the transaction history it didn't
look like I had sent anybody anything, so they either
had to just get my card number do that. But
I was like, what, like, what are you How are
you able to have my card twice in two weeks
and put the same charge through? It makes me think
(48:22):
it's the same person. How would you have access to
the card? I don't understand that. And the bank was like,
we can just put like this isn't gonna get Like
I was like, just don't let uber cash ever, like
put a hold on it, like, don't ever let uber
cash try and transfer money, like I will never ever
use uber Cash. I promise you.
Speaker 1 (48:39):
I look forward to you being justice bewildered next week
when this That's.
Speaker 3 (48:43):
What I'm gonna like, because I was like, what do
I do next week when you guys do the same thing.
I was like, I'm not getting a new card every
week because then I have payments that are auto pays
and it's like like last week I had a couple
that were like, hey, your payment didn't go through, and
they give you a little grace, but then like this
week I'm getting the same one, like, hey you updated
the Cardiffroe and this payment didn't go through. I promise
I don't not have money. I just go for some
(49:03):
reason can't access it, and it's it's fucking pissing me off,
and I don't like that, and then the other not cool.
That actually was funny, but it's really not cool. I
was on my way to uh A dinner on Sunday
and I went. It was like a family dinner. Took
the kids and somebody didn't go to green light and
(49:28):
I honked and they didn't go, and I honked. They
still didn't go, and I just laid on the I
was like, fucking go, dude. And in the backseat I
hear my oldest dar fucking good dude, and I was like, ah, hell,
I just I didn't address it. I just hoped that
that was just a regular words. She didn't associate that
(49:48):
was bad. I tried to draw no attention whatsoever to it.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
But it's a proud dad moment at some point. You
know it was.
Speaker 3 (49:56):
Bad dad moment, but also like funny because it's fucking
go due, dude from a two year old is hilarious.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
It's the best see you say about No, it's just
gotta work on that. No, no, you don't. You just
gotta tell them listen, you don't get to say that
that's a daddy word. But it's gonna be hilarious.
Speaker 3 (50:15):
Yeah, it was not cool, Like.
Speaker 1 (50:17):
I'm gonna be teaching in a couple of years, I'm
gonna be teaching your daughter some works.
Speaker 3 (50:20):
The previous the only time she had cass was wis
when shared from her mom.
Speaker 1 (50:24):
So like something. And then couple of years, I'm gonna
be over here and your daughter's gonna walk up to
you and just like tug on your shorts and be like,
fucking go dude, cowboys are a bunch of cunts.
Speaker 3 (50:36):
No, we do poo poo cowboys poopoo cowboys.
Speaker 1 (50:38):
Well, no, I'm gonna teach her some other sea. Yeah,
but that's my job as the irresponsible dick head uncle.
Speaker 3 (50:44):
But not that you can't do the sea word. You
say cowboys are stupid or no.
Speaker 1 (50:50):
Because he's a strong, independent woman, she's reclaiming the word
that was a thing over the last couple of months.
Serving kunt. I don't understand what it means, but yeah,
no birds. Fine, if if cunts to the you get
one word that you gotta know, no on serving cut
where do you want to use it? On?
Speaker 3 (51:07):
Deserving cunt? Mean like you're serving Like you're I'm being
mean today, I'm gonna be I'm gonna be a real
bitch today. Is that that is? Or is it like
I'm like twitting out? Is it like I'm just like
I'm being It seems like I'm being a strong independent woman.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
I think it just means looking good, like you're serving,
but then just adding cunt onto it.
Speaker 3 (51:25):
Serving cunt seems bad, right?
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Unt sounds great to me? No, I mean like, yeah,
like if we're talking, we're talking just naked on a
fucking entree.
Speaker 3 (51:35):
Maybe, yeah, like that'd be that'd be sick.
Speaker 1 (51:37):
But like fucking great dinner.
Speaker 3 (51:39):
I am serving cunt today. I'm like, are you like,
what do you mean?
Speaker 1 (51:44):
Well, what are you charging for it?
Speaker 3 (51:45):
That's the yeah?
Speaker 1 (51:46):
What?
Speaker 3 (51:47):
No?
Speaker 5 (51:49):
So yeah, trying to serve a little less cunt.
Speaker 3 (51:52):
All right, guys, what do you got for? You're not cool?
Speaker 1 (51:56):
I got a couple of what Just this morning, I
picked up a box at work and a piece of
glass just went right into my thumb. I guess there
was broken glass on the ground somewhere, just a tiny
little but like all you could see a little bit,
but it was bleeding like the son of a bitch
in there. It was just like a piece of glas
stuck in and I pulled it out, but it just
(52:16):
it was one of those ones where they're like, damn it,
it was a gusher. Yeah, just wrapped it in a
paper towel while I finished what I was doing. And
that sucks a little bit. My main one was just
it's my main not cool, but it also saved me
from a bigger not cool is yesterday morning. All actually,
all I had to do Sunday was laundry, as I
do most Sundays when that's the only thing I have
to do. I put it off to Monday morning, right.
(52:37):
I was like, fuck it, I'm just gonna do it
tomorrow morning, no problem. And then I'm lazy for a
little bit in the morning. So finally it's like eleven thirty.
I was like, all right, I'm gonna take a dump.
I'm gonna go do my laundry. As I'm on the toilet,
all of a sudden, just power out. So then I
have to have that moment of oh fuck did I
(52:58):
forget to pay my bill? Of course, the power's out,
so your WiFi is out, so your phone you're slow
as shit. You can't.
Speaker 3 (53:04):
Anybody else's powers out so their WiFi is out, so
everybody's pulling from the same tower.
Speaker 1 (53:08):
Yeah, but like eventually I realized I didn't, and I'm like, okay,
it's just a power outage. Entire complex is out. You
live directly across the street, your power still on.
Speaker 3 (53:18):
It's just us they do like that power that. Like
you and I live close enough to where like you know,
is your WiFi out? And you'll be like yeah, I'm
like cool. I was about to lose my mind, so like,
and then now we can just like, do you just
go to the bar while it's out and then we
can fix that. Let's do that.
Speaker 1 (53:32):
I had to run to Walmart to buy jeans and
the shirt to wear at work because I was just
I was out. And uh. But the plus size of
the side of it was if I had gone and
started my laundry ten minutes earlier or half an hour earlier,
it would have been in the washer when I lost
power complex and that would have been a serious fucking problem.
Speaker 3 (53:54):
So like, laziness kind of paid off.
Speaker 1 (53:56):
Laziness paid off for me once again.
Speaker 3 (53:58):
That's actually good for me.
Speaker 1 (53:59):
Yeah, it was very good. But like all I could
sit there and I was like, this sucks. But I
couldn't even be mad at it because I was like,
this was so close to sucking exponentially more, because then
it would have just been I had to pile all
my wet clothes into a tub and leave them in
a pile while I went to work.
Speaker 3 (54:15):
Yeah, because you can't. You didn't have time to hang
it up.
Speaker 1 (54:17):
No, I wouldn't have had the time or anything. So
it was it was almost a much bigger not cool.
But you know, it was more of an inconvenience than
not really because I just took some time.
Speaker 3 (54:28):
It wasn't not cool though.
Speaker 1 (54:30):
Yeah, it was because because now also now after this,
I have to go do laundry. I don't want to
do laundry today, but I can't do it tomorrow because
I'll be out of I will be fully out of
clothes unless I go buy more tomorrow. And we got
fucking USA World Cup to go watch it.
Speaker 3 (54:44):
That's so I were doing the podcast earlier today because
I was like, hey, since since we're doing the pot
on Tuesday, did you want to watch the game?
Speaker 1 (54:51):
It was actually while I was out yesterday, I stopped
and got Burger King for lunch too, because I was like, well,
I got to kill time. Yeah, now that I'm doing
doing these other errands. And I looked across the street
right and I saw USA game and I was about
to text you when I forgot. Three hours later, you
texted me, great minds think like birds of a feather, baby.
Speaker 3 (55:07):
Great minds thinkleg I gotta look a little squad maybe,
oh gravy game, Yeah for tomorrow. That the place that
starts with an A and run just from schmad at
me and just get the jersey, good call, Just get
the jersey. That's vibes. You buy a jersey the day
you buy the jersey for a knockout game. That's the
(55:28):
pop that you're gonna get from that whole confidence. That's
but like the we're just like the team's gonna feel
that like Christian policity is gonna be like I feel
like Pat Diane just bought a jersey, okayuston Texas, but
you know what goal for him and then flow flooring
Baligan is gonna fucking go out there and just fucking
go off.
Speaker 1 (55:47):
Such about it. And you know what, speaking of jerseys,
that just reminded me of another not cool I texted
you yesterday because, uh, I think Sophie Cunningham might be
my favorite. Just athlete right now in the game. She's hilarious.
Speaker 3 (55:59):
We talked about this a little bit, like again last
week you guys didn't here, but.
Speaker 1 (56:03):
But yeah, I texted you.
Speaker 3 (56:04):
I was like, hey, do you want a bonner thing?
The Kayla clog getting punched in the throat thing? Is
that Martha Stewart?
Speaker 1 (56:09):
Yeah, it is Martha Stewart. But just just being able
to completely rage bait someone and make them so angry,
not saying a word, just pointing at him. It's like
like my older brother used to do it to me
all the time, just that I'm not touching you. Yeah,
it's so rage maating. But I was like, you know what,
fuck it, I'm gonna go. I'm getting a Soaphie Cunningham jersey.
She's awesome. I love her. Can we be fucking realistic?
(56:30):
WNBA one hundred dollars for a w NBA jersey, I mean,
and I want to spend that on an America, on a.
Speaker 3 (56:39):
Men's jersey or women's jersey, because I they were called
the same price.
Speaker 5 (56:43):
That is sexist as fuck. Have you ever heard of
the wage gap?
Speaker 1 (56:46):
Yeah? And then and this was the cheapest jersey with
the sleeves, not even the like fucking Darty jersey where
it's just the tank or the what do you call it?
Sleeve cutoff, which is the one I wanted. But that
one was one twenty and I was like, well, I
don't want to go through fucking team we were.
Speaker 3 (57:00):
We can't put a price on it, Sophie Cunningham jersey.
Speaker 1 (57:03):
You can't. Well you can, and that probably higher than
I'm willing to pay for a jersey that I'm honestly
probably never gonna wear.
Speaker 3 (57:10):
It's like the Women's World Cup jersey I bought for
the men's World Cup. I just bought the women's version
because I'm a feminist, but like support the whole squad, Yeah,
I support them all.
Speaker 1 (57:20):
But I was I was really excited to drunkenly buy
this jersey and then I couldn't even fucking do it.
I mean I could, I was not willing to.
Speaker 3 (57:27):
I think you should go back and get it.
Speaker 1 (57:29):
I think I'm just gonna go to a third party
website and get some shitty quality one. I think that'll
be even funnier.
Speaker 3 (57:33):
That's fine, that is fine.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
Like I honestly I kind of want one that says
Sophie on the back and not even Cunningham just sof
just getting custom money, you end up spending three hundred
dollars on it. Can I customize to just have her
arm pointing on the name plate?
Speaker 3 (57:48):
That would be That would be really cool.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
But I was just like, man, if if we were
in college right now, the Sophie Cunningham pool party Jersey
would be the hottest that every party, it would be.
So I hope there's so many Sophie Cunningham jerseys all
around Texas State right now?
Speaker 3 (58:04):
Is that where she's filing?
Speaker 1 (58:06):
No, but EXAs State all like literally everything. It's just
a pool party.
Speaker 3 (58:10):
This river party?
Speaker 1 (58:12):
What or river party? You float the river? You don't
really do river like they're.
Speaker 5 (58:17):
Floating the river is a party, though, isn't it.
Speaker 1 (58:19):
Yeah? And honestly, I would have probably floated in my
Sophie Cunningham jersey.
Speaker 3 (58:22):
You would have had to.
Speaker 1 (58:23):
Yeah, so sick, But yeah, no, I can't do dude.
We should be sober price their ship.
Speaker 5 (58:27):
We should be Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clike for Halloween.
Speaker 1 (58:32):
I don't hate it.
Speaker 3 (58:33):
Yeah, and they do that.
Speaker 1 (58:35):
I get to be Sophie though, I'm mean.
Speaker 3 (58:37):
Yeah, I mean obviously I'm Kaitlyn.
Speaker 1 (58:38):
I can.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
I'm fucking wicked from three and.
Speaker 1 (58:40):
I'm really good at pissing people off, even when I
don't mean to. It's kind of my thing.
Speaker 3 (58:45):
Ca. I mean you're at I also do that two.
Speaker 1 (58:50):
Well, they just hate her naturally, Yeah, honestly, So maybe
I should be Kaitlin Clark because I'm just more hateable.
But you are great at rage waiting people.
Speaker 3 (58:57):
You're pretty good at too. Don't don't tell yourself, buddy. Yeah,
but you really plus the.
Speaker 1 (59:02):
Time, like you really, it's an art with you to
do it. I'm too lazy to do it most of
the times.
Speaker 3 (59:08):
Read it, buddy. And threads, actually, I've been pretty good
at threads.
Speaker 1 (59:11):
So you have the dedication to be like, I'm going
to ruin your day.
Speaker 3 (59:14):
So on threads. The other day I got to do
the we'd be lost to Turkey, So everybody was trying
to like, it's just a lot of anti American going on,
and they were, well, US can't even be a European country.
See what happens when they when they played like a
real team that Turkey hadn't one yet, so like, actually
they weren't like a powerhouse or anything. And so he
(59:36):
was like then they're just like, shut the fuck up,
blah blah blah. You're don't have don't or don't have
universal health care the only country I don't. I'm not
even talking about that. And I was like, well, actually,
like the US is more of a hockey country, so
how was.
Speaker 1 (59:48):
That universal health care when it gets above ninety degrees?
Speaker 3 (59:51):
But it was a Canadian There was argument with me
shitting on the US, and I was just like, well,
we're soccer countries and we're not a soccer country.
Speaker 5 (59:58):
We're a hockey county, like you are not a hot country.
The Wolle we won the gold medal, so kind of
hockey country.
Speaker 1 (01:00:02):
I can tweet whatever I want. My government won't freeze
my bank account. Can you say that? Canada zeke you
can do that? Oh yeah, it happened. A bunch of
truckers tried to forget what they were protesting, probably new
gas that but a bunch of truckers were protesting that,
and the government just went and froze all their bank
accounts to get them back on the roads. Pretty fucked up. Yeah,
(01:00:26):
it sounds like some ship that fucking President Snow would do.
In the Hunger game.
Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
Wait, til you see the the wait did you see
the prequel? And then you'll maybe like, I see how
you were radicalized. Oh I get it, I get I
mean he.
Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
I mean having that much power would be so dope.
Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
Oh yeah, that's like when I said when I was
running for mayor, I was like, I will immediately be corrupted.
Like I'm not, I'm I'm not saying Pizza Friday. I
don't know how to make that happen.
Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
I'd be a small time corrupted.
Speaker 3 (01:00:52):
How would I make how would I make?
Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
Well, yeah, I would just understand. But listen, I'm gonna
be a corrupt but also I'm not gonna be so
corrupt that people revolt because I just want to chill
and be in power. Man, they try and kill you.
Speaker 3 (01:01:06):
But like when Lena Hidalgo, like they just flew out
to Miami because she's like I want to go to
the Columbia game, and they're like, well, guess what, here
you go. I want that shit. I'm like, you know,
my favorite football team is the Giants. They're like, well, hey, sweet,
tickets for the Giants and Texans. I'm all right, what
do you guys? What do you guys want? Past And
then I'd be like, well, we can make that happen. Oh,
(01:01:27):
I'll talk to my guys.
Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
I'd be making so many handshake deals.
Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
You're a contractor, Oh you've never done contract before. Hey
how about your first time since you got me these
sweet tickets.
Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
Oh you just gave your friend a no bid contract. Yeah,
that's why I became president.
Speaker 3 (01:01:40):
And then when they would be like Alex, you'd be
gating corrupted, Like, yeah, power crops, dude. I didn't say
I was a good guy, you know. I said I
was going to do pizza Fridays, and I again still
don't know how to do that, and my aids didn't
really ever help me with that. I take guys, how
are you doing pizza Fridays? And they're like, yeah, it's
coming of a long and I was like, how do
we do? You just give up pizza the whole city?
I bought a lot of pizzas apparents. I never saw
(01:02:01):
a pizza at bottom.
Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
I would save like, after I was out of office,
I'm make you know what, guysiz I was kind of
a dick. I'm gonna save the Americans some money. I'm
not gonna build a presidential library. Mine's gonna be digital.
I'm just gonna have my own like playlist under spotify'd
be of audio books.
Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
It is just, yeah, these audiobooks.
Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
But it'll be just like sports biographies.
Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
It's just my Twitter account. This is my It's it's
not a it's not a full library. It's just kind
of like I want a phone booth that's just got
a like a touchscreen, and the touch screen just only
updates my Twitter.
Speaker 1 (01:02:35):
It'll be one audiobook and it says history of the
World and it starts at seventeen seventy six.
Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:02:40):
It's just Ron Swanson. That's really all it is.
Speaker 3 (01:02:43):
And it ends in the pandemic. They get into twenty
nineteen and then we're like, and then what happened? I
don't worry about it.
Speaker 1 (01:02:49):
Yeah, shin which nothing you need to just reminded me
of another one. Okay, So I've talked about this for
a while too, Like I'm not really a soda guy anymore.
Like I'll have a soda here in there, but I
don't buy them. When I was in Walmart yesterday, when
the fuck did a twelve pack of soda become nine dollars?
They used to be like four fifty or if you
(01:03:10):
bought three of them, it.
Speaker 3 (01:03:11):
Was twelve bucks inflation in Walmart.
Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
A twelve pack of Dr Pepper's nine dollars. Who the
fuck is still buying soda at those prices. That's insane.
Speaker 3 (01:03:21):
Yeah, I don't know, I have, but so it in
a long time.
Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
It's absolutely not like I remember when Celtza water Seltzer
water became more expressed with the wata you.
Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
Gotta be Celtz water. Yeah, give me that Celtz of water.
Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
Sorry, the New York came out of me, the.
Speaker 3 (01:03:33):
Starry I got, We're watching a game in New York,
do Joysey and then celtsa wa, I just wanted my
celts of water.
Speaker 1 (01:03:37):
But I remember when those first came out and they
were cheaper than soda, and then they became more Those
were like five dollars at twelve pack. Here. Well, I'm
just not buying those all by soda Now, it's like,
what the fuck is going? Like we're six years past
COVID time to figure out the pricing on everything. Guys.
Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
Yeah, but you just big supply chain, Like what does
that mean? And like we don't really have to explain it.
We just to say supply chain and the and be like, yeah, whoops, we.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Have too stupid to question what that means.
Speaker 3 (01:04:03):
Well, no, I mean it's a shortage, you know, because
of the Panama Canal and everything coming through that and
just to back up and shipping and understaffing and this.
And you're just saying the buzzwords that you know that
we know, but we don't know what they all mean together, like.
Speaker 1 (01:04:16):
Gas has already started to come back down from the
canal opening back up, and why isn't everything else coming down?
I don't know, fucking economy.
Speaker 3 (01:04:27):
Man, That's what if I was in office. If I
was in office, things would be a little things be
a little bit different. That's what I'm gonna say. Maybe
maybe I get back into politics.
Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
We might need to run dual ticket for mayor.
Speaker 3 (01:04:39):
That's what for mayor. We don't have a We both
are oh, I don't want to do president. I want
to do mayor and vice mayor. And they're like, we
don't have like.
Speaker 1 (01:04:46):
An undercar, no vice mayor. We just double mayor. Every
six months we swap who like not even we were
just tag taing it and then whenever something in trouble happens,
we flip a coin for who's taking the place, and
so the yeah, somebody's just gotta be the fog ey
fuck Now, I'm just I'm just a completely just embarrassed politician.
Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
I've failed all the way.
Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
We didn't look both of you, actually you did.
Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
You did, yes, taking Milton slash on which you didn't see,
was that we did that? Yeah they were Yeah that's
not how that works. It is. But I also like
mayor and vice mayor, and you can't run with the
second guy.
Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
I would like vice mayor because what does that? That
doesn't mean anything.
Speaker 3 (01:05:26):
Yeah, a vice mayor like corrupt vice mayor dion indicted
for this, Like what is a vice mayor? Like I
don't know this guy Alex Middleton one mayorship but just
gave his friend a vice mayor.
Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
Title because like the only vice I ever knew.
Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
I gave him a key to the city. You can
open any door.
Speaker 1 (01:05:43):
The vice admiral from the first uh uh from Star
Wars one Phantom Menace, but like the vice admiral was
in charge. Yeah, fucking aliens. They don't know about vices
and ship And actually I'm a big vice guy, so
that would be And then that's why you make me
vice mayor and I'm just in charge of like Zin's
(01:06:04):
and Booze.
Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
What if I wanted you to be like more of
a Dick Cheney vice mayor where it's like you're really
like the.
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
Guy want me doing everything?
Speaker 3 (01:06:11):
Yeah, it's like you're, hey, I need you to kind
of be president, but I'm gonna hang out and like
do cool shit that Oh lord, I just go.
Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
Around with Darth Maul fucking makeup on all the time.
Speaker 3 (01:06:20):
That was like the coolest Dick Cheney move ever. Where
Like Bush's team hired and they're like, hey, we need
you to run a to do like a search and
find a vice president candidate and He's like, all right, hey,
I did my research. He gave me all this money.
I decided I think the best vice presidential candidate's me.
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
Yeah. Why George Bush is my favorite president of all time.
Because it was just like, yeah, I'll take.
Speaker 3 (01:06:42):
A job, but what if you did all this, Jenny,
you wanna go to this meeting?
Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
Wait? You mean you don't want the power? Nah? Dad,
he made me do it.
Speaker 3 (01:06:50):
I'm going golfing. Daddy said, just get I racked back.
We're good.
Speaker 1 (01:06:53):
Daddy said, we need to keep it in the family.
But Jem's a piece of shit and nobody will vote
for him.
Speaker 3 (01:06:57):
Look, we gotta get sad amount and really, as long
as we can get that out inter thew I'm gonna
clear war than them in a couple years. Right now
we're talking to Afghnston. Why don't you take that? Be God?
Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
I love George W. Bush. I'm gonna go pay guys. Hilarious.
Now watch the drift, Now watch the drive. Fucking what
a badass? Yeah, what a guy?
Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
Good not Cools, Good not Cools. Good night, Cools. Let's go.

Speaker 3 (01:07:55):
Don't thanks the subject, just answer question.
Speaker 1 (01:07:58):
Kept talking.
Speaker 3 (01:08:07):
Our first question this week comes from Adrian A. Lado,
and Adrian says, what is the most American letter?
Speaker 1 (01:08:16):
The first one that popped in my head was just
it's A. It's number one, It's the A like America.
I think what it is is Z because every other
country says Z.
Speaker 5 (01:08:29):
Does every other country say? I thought it just Canada?
Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
Canada does it? England does it?
Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
England says Z.
Speaker 1 (01:08:34):
Yeah, doesn't make any sense to me.
Speaker 3 (01:08:38):
I was watching some you know how like they.
Speaker 1 (01:08:41):
Ruin likes V not ved then well, you know like.
Speaker 3 (01:08:44):
They ruin like morning TV by being like all right,
and we were doing the news. We're doing the news,
this is what happened. And then and coming back we
got pat steals and deals and you'd be like, yeah, guys,
if you want to this fourth of July, look you
can make popsicles with your kids. I get news, Pour this,
pour this juice here in this one. Girls like yeah.
The lady who is doing was like yeah, it's got
everything from eight is dead. And I was just like,
(01:09:05):
what the fuck. Get the fuck out, What the fuck
did you you not say Z? In this country they're.
Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
Trying to, like you push it on America doing it
too because everyone else does not doing it. When the
fuck has America ever done anything?
Speaker 3 (01:09:16):
Just because uh the metric system?
Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
Yeah, we just said fuck that shit. Uh no, oh,
you know, the metric system is actually the perfect system,
and it makes way more sense. It's easier on everybody
that the right, objectively right way to do it. Now,
funk that we want to foot? What's the twelve inches?
Speaker 5 (01:09:32):
I think I got some heities, some Swedish hidies they're
showing right there.
Speaker 1 (01:09:35):
I don't think there's any such thing as an ugly
Swedish woman.
Speaker 3 (01:09:39):
I don't think any women are ugly. I think all
women are beautiful inside and out.
Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
Have you ever seen Lena Dunham Gross?
Speaker 3 (01:09:47):
I'm sure she's beautiful somewhere. Nope, not even someone that
finds her beautiful.
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
She's a piece of shit.
Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
That stadium is beautiful.
Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
But yeah, I think it's gotta be Z just because
for some reason, somewhere along the way, every other country
just decided to start saying zero and we were like, no,
we're standing d were standing fast and see because think
about it, why would it not be veed?
Speaker 3 (01:10:07):
Yeah, it's pretty dumb.
Speaker 1 (01:10:08):
It's just when they get to the final letter, like, hey,
what if we ended it with a D.
Speaker 3 (01:10:12):
That's pretty dumb. So my whole thing was, is it
is the most American letter? Is that the most patriotic letter? Also,
because if we're going most patriotic letter F capital F
is a fucking flag. It's just flying a flag that's
as patriotic as you can be. But if we're just
being like what letter is the most American? I think
(01:10:33):
I'm with you on A because it's first, it's America.
It's spell America with it like it's the best. A
is the best grade you can get.
Speaker 1 (01:10:42):
It's its own word.
Speaker 3 (01:10:44):
Yeah, it is its own word. It stands on its own.
Speaker 1 (01:10:48):
And like you said, number, it's number one and we
are obviously number one.
Speaker 3 (01:10:53):
So most patriotic would be F. But the question was
most American? I think we gotta go capitol and it's
got to got to be capital A. Like the US
of a.
Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
Low case A looks good on a braves hat, but
they it doesn't.
Speaker 3 (01:11:08):
That's not their main logo anymore for a reason because
they were like, we know that the upper ks A
is sicker upper the upper case a fuck capital A rocks,
all right, Capilla rocks.
Speaker 5 (01:11:20):
Great question, Adrian, Oh yeah, I really liked that one.
Speaker 3 (01:11:23):
I got a couple more American ones that we can
get to before we're out of here. But the next
one from Mikey paul At it's just Mikey p on
X and Mikey says, where does the sky start?
Speaker 1 (01:11:34):
So I had put a little research into this because
I was thinking planes fly in the sky?
Speaker 3 (01:11:40):
Try right.
Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
So I looked up where planes had to fly and
it's a thousand feet okay, above whatever the tallest structure
of the area is. And I was thinking about it
through that way. But then I had an epiphany. What
was the basis of everything I've learned in my life?
The reading rainbow? And what do they teach us? Butterfly
in the sky? Where do butterflies fly? Right where we are?
(01:12:05):
And sky starts right above the ground? Good boy, everything
is the sky. I'm sky high right now, dude.
Speaker 3 (01:12:14):
Well see my theory that you just blew right through.
I was like, all right, we're inside. So in my
theory above like the sky starts at the roof, like
right above the roof, and I was like, well, what
if you're not covered by anything and you're outside just standing.
Then I thought wherever, like right where you're standing, just
(01:12:34):
above your fingers, because they Kanye's always like reach out
to touch the sky, so I feel like you have
to jump and touch the sky. But but that's relative.
Speaker 1 (01:12:43):
But then the sky is like nipple level for us.
Speaker 3 (01:12:47):
You're right, and like, where's the rainbow? Go the sky?
But the rainbow also touches the ground. So the second
the rainbow comes up from the ground, that's the sky.
So reading rainbow and rainbows themselves.
Speaker 1 (01:12:57):
So if we're going by the rainbow, then maybe however
tall the po of gold is, what's a what's a
pot of gold?
Speaker 3 (01:13:02):
Like me, No, because the pot of gold is at
the end of the rainbow, but the end of the rainbow,
the rainbow would.
Speaker 1 (01:13:08):
Hit the ground. Yeah, so it's just right above the ground.
Speaker 3 (01:13:09):
Everything right above the ground is this is where the
sky starts. We're sky people, skyboys, skyboys. Bitches us a motherfucker.
Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
God, France is just putting it on sweem now.
Speaker 3 (01:13:24):
And bapem pass Messy goals and I think now Messy
and he both have six.
Speaker 1 (01:13:30):
But yeah, we're in the sky, man, sky is just
about butterflies, because think about it, what's the sky to
an ant the top of a blade of grass?
Speaker 3 (01:13:39):
Every maybe maybe not even that, Yeah, maybe not even that.
Speaker 1 (01:13:44):
So yeah, we're in the sky.
Speaker 5 (01:13:46):
All right, great question, Mike E. P Love that all right.
Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
This one is from Conrad and Conrad says what dinosaur?
Or Conrad Conrad says what kind of dinosaur? With Will
Ferrell be.
Speaker 1 (01:14:02):
I feel like it's something that's just clumsy as shit.
Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
So I did I you did the researcher on the
other one. I did some researcher on this one. It
would be the dinosaur that has the hard head that
runs its head into other dinosaurs with the hard head.
Speaker 1 (01:14:18):
The bone monk guy.
Speaker 3 (01:14:19):
Yes, I looked up. It's called a patchy cephalosaurus patches right.
Weezy hates the name.
Speaker 1 (01:14:25):
Yeah, you're not a big fan of that dinosaur, are you, weezers?
Speaker 5 (01:14:28):
But it's called a patchi cephalosaurus.
Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
And I don't know why, but like the little spikes
that come out around the hard part just remind me
of his like curly hair, So I think that's why.
And then I also think that John c Riley would
also be a patchy cephalosaurus. That wasn't the question, but
I think that they would both be patchy.
Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
I love that.
Speaker 3 (01:14:45):
So the dinosaur rammed its head into the other dinosaur
with the hard head. That's what Will Farrel would be
a patchy cephalosaurus.
Speaker 1 (01:14:52):
And you know what, even though they're built to do
that with the strong neck muscles and the hard head,
I bet after they ram heads together, probably dazed a
little bit, stumbling around, looks clumsy right up his alle.
Speaker 3 (01:15:02):
It's like that scene in Stepbrothers where they're trying to
bury each other.
Speaker 1 (01:15:05):
M He's not known as a physical comedian, but he
does have great physical comedian abilities.
Speaker 3 (01:15:10):
I would say it's pretty physical comedian.
Speaker 1 (01:15:12):
No physical comedian, I think more of like Farley falling
through tables and stuff like that. Will doesn't do a
he does some not a lot.
Speaker 5 (01:15:18):
Of Tadegan Knights is all.
Speaker 3 (01:15:21):
Physical.
Speaker 1 (01:15:21):
Help me, Oprah Winfrey.
Speaker 3 (01:15:23):
I'm on fire and stabbing himself.
Speaker 1 (01:15:25):
Running around in this underwear and he had a hard
hat on them he did. So, Yeah, that's patches. It
makes sense, Will Patches Ferrell.
Speaker 3 (01:15:34):
There we go, Will Patchess Patches Seth Ferrell Saurus done perfect,
all right, nailed that. We crushed that question.
Speaker 1 (01:15:50):
Oh this is a good one.
Speaker 3 (01:15:52):
Yeah, Ta Telupa says, who is the most American person
of all time? All right, I wrote down a handful
of people. Mmm, I think the right answer is John Hancock.
See it's easy because because John Hancock is the most
American person of all time. Because everybody's like, hey, we
gotta tell the British that, like, fuck you bitches, we're out.
(01:16:12):
And he's like, fine, I got that, and just fucking
let me spray, let me spray paint my fucking name
on that bitch. I'm gonna write a bigger than everybody. Yeah,
I got you. Fuck you guys.
Speaker 1 (01:16:23):
I like that answer, but like exactly the.
Speaker 3 (01:16:25):
American as you could be. And that was before America
was even like a powerhouse. He's like, we're gonna turn
this into a dynasty. He took over. He's the what's
his face from Indiana? He would the USA was Indiana
and he was like, I'm gonna go over here and
I'm gonna take I'm gonna leave James Madison and I'm
gonna I'm gonna turn Indiana into a national championship. And
he left and he went and he did that.
Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
He's up there my Initially my head first thought it was,
you know, old Georgian boy, George Washington. But here's my
problem with those guys. They spent a lot of time
as British citizens.
Speaker 3 (01:16:59):
They did, they were Britts.
Speaker 1 (01:17:00):
But now granted they said, fuck you Britain, I'm starting
my own.
Speaker 3 (01:17:04):
That makes you as American as you can be by
being like I was even a part of you, and
I don't want to be a part of you anymore
because I know what it was like.
Speaker 5 (01:17:09):
I've walked they walked in someone else's shoes.
Speaker 1 (01:17:12):
And that does give you both Because I was thinking
it had to be somebody who's whole life. You're American
from day one and you never stopped. I was thinking
maybe like a Terry Balaya better known as Hulk Hogan.
That's an American icon.
Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
Pat Sajack, Pat Sajack Canadian?
Speaker 1 (01:17:32):
Shit, that's right, he is. What about Alex tre Beck
just kidding, I know he's Canadian too.
Speaker 3 (01:17:36):
Maybe it's Eyes Rebecca.
Speaker 1 (01:17:37):
I was thinking, yeah, I know, al I don't think
Pat say Jack is Canadian. I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:17:40):
I'm not gonna look it up.
Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
But great American, I mean Lionel MESSI great American, Great American,
best American.
Speaker 3 (01:17:47):
I wrote John Hancock, George Washington, and Teddy Roosevelt, Ben Franklin,
Abraham Lincoln or Hulk Hogan.
Speaker 1 (01:17:53):
You know who's up there. Also Johnny Carson, because there's
not a goddamn person that dislikes Johnny Carson. Everybody loved
it every night. He entertained the entire country. He did
it in a way that didn't alienate anybody. He didn't
get into politics. He was like, listen, I'm here to
entertain you. That's a great American. I mean, Tom Brady,
(01:18:14):
what does America do? We fucking win?
Speaker 3 (01:18:17):
True?
Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
George Patten gave his life to the military, slapped some
dudes around for me, and Pussy's got some heat for it.
But you know, I don't know any other generals. I
got a movie. Yeah, Eisenhower helped us defeat the Nazis.
This is a hard question. There's so many different ways
you can go.
Speaker 3 (01:18:38):
I mean, Toby Keith, Jack Hughes.
Speaker 1 (01:18:40):
I mean, honestly, we gotta put Lady the Cable guy
up there too. Much more American than just being a
fake character and being awesome for it. Joey Chestnut. Chestnut
just absolute dominance over the rest of the world.
Speaker 3 (01:18:52):
He's like, what do we do? We eat gluttonous amount? Okay, cool,
I'm better than everyone like all the time.
Speaker 1 (01:18:58):
Because that's the thing. It's like the most of the
world probably looks at the hot dog contest like we
look at soccer. We don't care, we don't think about it,
but like we're just so dominant, like you don't have
to care because we're just gonna beat you anyway.
Speaker 3 (01:19:10):
Like some nights, I like stay up at night, I'm like, man,
I really hope that Joey can bring it home again,
Like it'll be like December and I'm like, oh, I'm
just thinking about that foy j hot dog contest. I
hope like that Joey gets it done.
Speaker 1 (01:19:19):
Because what other country would be, like, hey, what are
you doing to celebrate your country's independence eating an absurd
amount of first food I can.
Speaker 3 (01:19:26):
Find, I'm gonna have seventy six hot dogs and buns.
Speaker 1 (01:19:29):
I think it's gotta be Joey Chestnutt.
Speaker 3 (01:19:31):
Yeah, Joey chest Nutt, and then second, close second will
be Johnny Hancock.
Speaker 1 (01:19:38):
I'm okay with that, Okay, yeah, all right, But Joey
c the greatest American of all time. I I feel
good about that.
Speaker 3 (01:19:45):
Joey chest Nutt for sure. God bless America. God bless him,
God bless America. I can't wait to see him, shan
I can't wait, shan Lee Greenwood.
Speaker 1 (01:19:56):
I don't know if he wrote the song or just
saying it.
Speaker 3 (01:19:57):
But you know what I'd like to I'd like to
imagine that he did both.
Speaker 1 (01:20:02):
Or what was this that John John C.
Speaker 3 (01:20:04):
Scott?
Speaker 1 (01:20:04):
Who was it that wrote the starspan the Scott Key,
Francis Scott Key. I had Scott in.
Speaker 3 (01:20:08):
There, Michael Scott Key.
Speaker 1 (01:20:11):
But also Francis Scott Key British for a while.
Speaker 3 (01:20:15):
So yeah, but they see like, I don't fault the
people are like, well they were British, they can't be
the best Americans. He's like, no, no, no, they got out though,
they were like, we know, get the fuck out of here.
Speaker 1 (01:20:23):
And Hancock did do it in a way of I'm
not just getting out. My name is so goddamn big.
So you know, I'm telling.
Speaker 3 (01:20:30):
You the only name the only reason he wrote his
name that big was because they wouldn't let him sign
the declaration with his dick, because he was like, I'm
gonna dip it in the ink, and I'm just getting
right with myop. We all gotta sign it.
Speaker 1 (01:20:41):
If everybody's gonna sign it in yours, is it, that's way.
Speaker 3 (01:20:44):
Too not even a thing yet. We all got to
sign it. Stop. Okay, we don't have a problem with you.
Speaker 1 (01:20:50):
We'll steal the magna carta and you can mushroom stamp that.
Speaker 3 (01:20:52):
How about we feel like this is going to water
down what we're trying to send to them with these
very well thought out words that we put out there.
What if you just signed it big? He's like, fuck, yeah,
all right, done.
Speaker 1 (01:21:03):
I love it. I think we nailed that one. We
are fucking on a.
Speaker 5 (01:21:06):
Root, crushing it today, keeping it going with the American ones.
Speaker 3 (01:21:10):
This is from Victoria, and Victoria says, if uncle Sam
had a real job, what would it be? He'd be
a military recruiter. That's what he was.
Speaker 1 (01:21:19):
I don't think he'd be the recruiter though.
Speaker 3 (01:21:20):
But that's all he did, is the told thing, I
want you to help the USA or was it savings
bonds something like that? Weasy, what are your thoughts?
Speaker 1 (01:21:32):
Would you like to repeat that?
Speaker 3 (01:21:37):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (01:21:38):
Yeah, interesting, interesting, Get out of there.
Speaker 3 (01:21:42):
Stop.
Speaker 1 (01:21:42):
Now, what job would he have. What's just like, what
job is that head football coach?
Speaker 3 (01:21:48):
Now he'd be he'd be a military recruiter, dude, that's
what he does. I want you to serve the United
States of America. Like that's what he does. But like
I think the I think the actual.
Speaker 1 (01:21:59):
Big job than that, well, that's going to have him
be more of a face if you want to stay
higher in the military, he'd be a general, but like
you don't know most generals anymore. I think he's a
head football Like a head football coach in the NFL
is the most American job there is. Would he just
be like the greatest high school football coach of all time,
(01:22:23):
like the dude took over for the program and since
he's been there for the last ten years, they're one
hundred and sixteen and two just running the wing T offense,
running it down people's throats. Or would he be Joey Chestnutt.
Speaker 3 (01:22:44):
I still think he'd be a military career fit. That's
all I ever saw him do. He's always wanting you
to get to do stuff for the country. That's the
perfect job for him. And then I do think that
the guy that they based Uncle Sam off of, and
this could be me just pulling something out of my ass.
I promise I'm not making it up, though, I feel
like I saw it like it was based off as
some guy that's a meat packer that just like looked
(01:23:05):
like that guy a great job, but like that that
seems like an American guy job, just like a big, tall,
lanky motherfucker with a big hat, like just packing some
meat ahead.
Speaker 1 (01:23:14):
Of the NRA. Because what's more American than that?
Speaker 3 (01:23:18):
That's packing heat, not packing meat.
Speaker 1 (01:23:20):
Yeah, but nowadays he'd be packing heat.
Speaker 3 (01:23:24):
I'm gonna go military recruiter. I gotta go. I gotta go.
Speaker 1 (01:23:27):
Military, go with an NFL coach. You guys, let us know.
We'll have to have you guys, good question two of
us in this room. We'll have to have you guys
settle this one for us.
Speaker 3 (01:23:35):
You know our producer we just left.
Speaker 1 (01:23:37):
Yeah, it was it was too conference.
Speaker 3 (01:23:39):
Honestly, yeah's was torn. She wanted to cho her favorite
uncle and her dad. So yeah, I get it. We's
all right. Last question this week is from Andrew. And
Andrew says, can you gaslight someone into thinking that they
are colorblind? I think he can, but you have to
(01:23:59):
start like when they're a child.
Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
Yeah, Like it's good, Like kids are stupid.
Speaker 3 (01:24:03):
Like my kid. If I was fucked up, I could
do that to my kid. But really it's incredible. It'd
be so fucked up because you'd have to start when
they're little and be like, hey.
Speaker 1 (01:24:13):
No that's not green, that's blurble.
Speaker 3 (01:24:14):
Yeah, like when they're at school and like their teacher
teaches and like this is red and blue and green
and you're like no, no, no, that's orange and that
like no, but daddy, the teacher says that this is black, Like, no,
that's orange.
Speaker 1 (01:24:25):
That's teacher's dumb.
Speaker 3 (01:24:28):
Yeah, we don't do that. You just have to constantly
lie about like yes, I got this red paint for
the house, and it's like that the house is white. No,
no that's not what do you think is white? What
you think is white is red? You're insane? And like
you would have to just gaslight the fuck out of them.
It'd be like Munchausen by proxy. Basically would be like, no,
your eyes don't work. Don't trust your eyes. You need
(01:24:49):
to trust what I say was this.
Speaker 1 (01:24:50):
Nineteen eighty four.
Speaker 3 (01:24:51):
Basically, I think that'd be a good thing.
Speaker 1 (01:24:55):
That'd be really funny to like have gaslate your child
for years, so they get to kindergarten, he's like, what
color is this and they're like blurpal and they're.
Speaker 3 (01:25:02):
Like that would it be funny at all? Because then
your kid just questions everything that they've been taught by
you or everybody, and then they don't know if it's
you or everyone else. So then they're just constantly not
trusting people, and you're building that into like the DNA
of them as they're just developing into a person.
Speaker 1 (01:25:19):
Or if your kid is chill, they would just realize, shit,
my dad's been trolling me for the first four years
of my life. They get home like, hey, fuck you, dad,
I learned that blurple is not a color today.
Speaker 5 (01:25:27):
But then you just have some repressed fucking shit.
Speaker 3 (01:25:29):
They'd be like, man, my dad just lied to me
about everything for five years.
Speaker 1 (01:25:32):
Yeah, but I think that's important because you want to
fuck with your kids enough and give them just a
little bit of traumas where they're funny. And if you're
gonna give them trauma, I might as well be over
some stupid like that and not over a real thing.
Speaker 3 (01:25:42):
Because they're like fuck with you, like learning wise other
because they're like you just don't trust anything like a
teacher teaches you.
Speaker 1 (01:25:48):
No, like when you get.
Speaker 3 (01:25:49):
Caught I lied to you about what your teacher was
saying for years. Then you'd be like, Okay, they're teaching
me how to do the quadratic equation, and I like,
I don't know, is that really how you do it?
Or they just drawing a bunch of numbers and ship
on the board because you guess it seems like the
easiest thing that you could bullshit.
Speaker 1 (01:26:06):
Well, you got it. You gaslight them when they're real young,
and then once they get old enough to learn something
and they're like they told me this, You're like, yeah,
I was fucking with you for the last sit and
pop his nap. Yeah, so you own up to it,
but you let it go on for as long as
you can to screw with them. I think. I mean,
we've got two test subjects.
Speaker 3 (01:26:26):
Not doing it on my kid. Come on, I'm not
gonna do it on my kids because I love them
too much. Somebody else's kids maybe, So you're.
Speaker 1 (01:26:32):
Just telling me you're never gonna fuck with your kids.
Speaker 3 (01:26:34):
Not like to the level of where I think that
make them second guess what colors are? Yeah, but that's funny,
not really.
Speaker 1 (01:26:42):
Think about it. Like they're in junior high. They're like,
tell us an interesting fact about you. Oh, for the
first four years of my life, my dad told me
green gray wasn't a color and it was actually blurpole.
Speaker 3 (01:26:54):
Like wait what he told me? I was color dyslexic,
not color blind, colored dickslexic.
Speaker 1 (01:27:02):
I mean I kind of like putting it that way.
Speaker 3 (01:27:05):
Yeah, that might be an episode title too.
Speaker 1 (01:27:07):
Color dyslexic. I feel like this is something that we
have to kick around.
Speaker 3 (01:27:11):
The idea for now with my kid.
Speaker 1 (01:27:13):
Is okay, well you're no fun, all.
Speaker 3 (01:27:15):
Right, somebody bavy gang, gravy gang. Would anybody like to
give us an intern?
Speaker 1 (01:27:19):
We have to my sister and see if we can
do it to mine. Okay, yeah, he hasn't even started
speaking yet, so I think she's.
Speaker 3 (01:27:24):
To be very she's she's perfect because like my oldest
is already started to speakin.
Speaker 1 (01:27:28):
And then years later when she catches on to it,
I be, yeah, no, your mom's just really fucking stupid
and doesn't know colors, so then I can just fuck
with it, and then you yeah, yeah, big, I don't
know if you know this. Your mom didn't ride the
regular bus.
Speaker 3 (01:27:41):
To school, and then we'd be like, we actually all
thought your mom was crazy, and then you gaslight her
about her mom, and then her mom's already gaslit her.
But then now you're gas lighting her about the gas lighting,
so she's just feeling extra gaslight.
Speaker 1 (01:27:53):
Honestly, I might just do this anyway, now that we're
talking about this, I'm gonna gaslighter when she's older into
thinking her mom repeat in the third grade like four times.
Speaker 3 (01:28:00):
That's a good idea. See that stuff's funny.
Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
Shu, mom, you didn't even get it, like just one day,
she says. They're like, what are you talking about?
Speaker 3 (01:28:06):
I didn't repeat the fourth My dad told me. My
dad used to always tell us when we would be
we when we didn't live in Houston, we'd come visit
my mom's family in Houston. She like, you know, your
mother's your mother's dad gave me a lot of money,
me your mom and your eyes joke like that, and
I'm like, nah ah, but me and my brother thought
I was so funny.
Speaker 1 (01:28:26):
Maybe I can.
Speaker 3 (01:28:27):
I gotta do something like that.
Speaker 1 (01:28:29):
I wonder if I'll be able to gas like my
niece and to be like, yeah, no, your mom just
ate a lot of chocolate ice cream when she was pregnant.
That's why you're a little more tan than the rest
of us.
Speaker 3 (01:28:39):
Don't do that.
Speaker 1 (01:28:40):
Let's do that. Why not? That's hilarious. Chocolate milk, Yeah,
your mom, actually she makes chocolate milk.
Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
No, it would be mean that. You mean, being mean
to kids is fun, and to an.
Speaker 1 (01:28:57):
Extent, I think maybe that is. Within the extent.
Speaker 3 (01:29:01):
It's weird though, because like I felt like it would
be easier to be like the like bad cop. I
was like, I'm just not gonna care because I get
the fucking thing done. Get it done. And it's like,
I'm way more interested in watching other people have to
discipline their kids than like when I'm I don't. But
she's nice, But this is.
Speaker 1 (01:29:19):
My buddy for guys to discipline girls.
Speaker 3 (01:29:21):
Like my two year olds. At the point where I
feel like she's like a dog that could talk to me,
he sort of like. I went to Target with her
the other day and it was just me and her,
and I was just chatting. She's just chatting up with me,
and I was like, I'm just hanging out, my little buddy.
Speaker 5 (01:29:34):
This rocks, Like I could hang on Target with you
all day.
Speaker 3 (01:29:37):
Just talk about and that's this toy, and that's this toy,
and this is the bug and the bug that's this
And I was like, okay, yeah, dude, fuck yeah, what.
Speaker 1 (01:29:45):
Does uncle Jackie do? Throws darts? Like yeah, like a
lot of times him have heard refer to him as
uncle Jackie.
Speaker 3 (01:29:53):
H yeah, and that's your uncle. We're gonna watch you
Uncle Jackson today, Uncle Jackie. You look at that, Look
at that teddy and suck with cam. Oh we calm
this scat man, Calm this scat man.
Speaker 1 (01:30:03):
Oh, you got to teach her to scat when he
got down.
Speaker 3 (01:30:06):
I will. She already knows their favorite stable teams. Guyants,
you have to say that every night before we go
to bed. She knows that beautiful and we do the
who's got better than us? Nobody because of the hard boss.
Speaker 1 (01:30:17):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (01:30:18):
That's our that's our evening routine.
Speaker 1 (01:30:20):
So yeah, if you're gonna get a slide somebody into
thinking they're colorblind, it's got to be a child.
Speaker 3 (01:30:24):
Or someone someone who's gotta start. Yeah, it's got to
be very early.
Speaker 1 (01:30:28):
Very like you have to start when they're learning colors.
Speaker 3 (01:30:32):
Because they already know colors. You can't really convince them
that what they've learned is wrong.
Speaker 1 (01:30:35):
Yeah, because kids, when when they look if they know
one thing, they'll be very stubborn about that one.
Speaker 3 (01:30:40):
I'm like with me with Pluto, Like you can tell
me Pluto is a planet. I had to put on
tests that it was a planet, So it's a planet forever.
I'm never going to not say that it is a planet.
Speaker 1 (01:30:50):
Could you imagine right now if you try to be
like you turned on Paw Patrol and be like, no, no,
that's not him. His name is actually this, she'd like, no,
it's not I watch this every day.
Speaker 3 (01:30:58):
Yeah, that's not Reble.
Speaker 1 (01:30:59):
That's I know nine things and this is one of them.
You can't trick me on this. But if you start
right when they're learning the colors, that's when, yeah, get them.
Speaker 3 (01:31:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:31:06):
And if anybody out there is fucking a cool guy
who's chill and likes to make jokes, do that to
your child. Alex isn't a cool guy like that. He
don't want to fuck around house.
Speaker 3 (01:31:14):
So let's have some tests. I'll have the test up
where it's like I'm the constant that like doesn't do it,
and you guys weigh in and let us know how
it's going with you that do gas Like your kids
at their.
Speaker 1 (01:31:22):
Colorblind they always say the first child is a test child.
You test everything out on it.
Speaker 3 (01:31:28):
And that's not that that's what they mean by the test.
Speaker 1 (01:31:30):
But did you test it out on her? And if
it works, you do it to the second child, and
if it doesn't, then only the first kid get sucked with.
Speaker 3 (01:31:37):
I'm just gonna let anybody else want to do that.
I'm balls in your cot all right, I'm.
Speaker 1 (01:31:41):
Gonna I'm gonna go over your head. I'm going to
grandma with this and be like, hey, I've got a
fun thing we're gonna do.
Speaker 3 (01:31:45):
I think Grandma's gonna shoot you down real fast, pretty
were Maybe.
Speaker 1 (01:31:50):
I could convince your dad. I don't think I could
convince probably probably, but he might.
Speaker 3 (01:31:54):
That's what those.
Speaker 1 (01:31:56):
Yeah, but grandpa's love messing with their grandchildren.
Speaker 3 (01:31:59):
Not like that though.
Speaker 1 (01:31:59):
That's it's like more like you don't know you have anister,
you haven't asked him.
Speaker 3 (01:32:04):
You can ask the next time you see him. I will,
I will, all right. I think that's it. Huh. Great
questions would be great questions. This is one of the
