There is a lot to chew on from last night.
It was a very pre e kind of preseason game.
It wasn't It was sloppy, There was lots of penalties,
It was disjointed. It looked like a preseason game. It
didn't look at all like what we're gonna watch in
a few weeks. That that didn't look like October November football.

That looked like August football. And it was amplified perhaps
by the moisture and the fact that we had some rain.
But the theme of the game, and we talked about
this yesterday, the theme of the game going in for
me at least, was depth. Right.

I think we all feel pretty good about the ones.

I think we all feel pretty good about, you know,
the starting offense and the guys who were gonna matter
the most on defense. But we talk a lot about
the Bengals having a really good roster. If they're gonna
have a really good roster, then then when depth is tested,
they have to pass. Last night was just one preseason game,
but it's all I have to react to for this
year's team, and the biggest takeaway was Bengals might have

some depth. There were lots of dudes, lots of guys
who either we've talked a little bit about during camp,
or who we've not talked about hardly at all during camp,
or who we know aren't going to be in featured
roles for this team, who did really, really good things.
We saw a lot of depth, start with the rookies.

Cash as how Jack Injuries. Jack Injuries hasn't had a
standout camp, and all the shows Tony and I have
done from Bengals training camp. I think we've mentioned his
name exactly one time. You couldn't watch the game last
night and not notice what he was doing catching the football.
Bengals have a really good and crowded tight end room.

My favorite player maybe on the team who's not named
Brian Cook, is Eric All but boy, there's a lot
of possibilities there at tight end. I think Jack Injuries
is the rookie, the draft pick that we talked about
the least, and you could argue last night he stood
out the most, or you can say that Brian Parker
(04:01):
stood out the most. Brian Parker looks already like he's
the best backup offensive lineman the Bengals have. He was
moving people at guard, he was moving people at center.
Brian Parker, I don't know that he has had a
standout training camp so far, but he was terrific last night.
Or it could have been Landon Robinson, and I will
(04:21):
admit to you this, like Landon Robinson, I don't know
any of us who doesn't root a little extra harder
for guys who come from service academies. There aren't a
lot of them, but we've talked about land and Robinson,
A's seventh rounder from Navy, more than we have anybody
else the Bengals drafted this year. And I've been skeptical, Okay, like, yeah,

we've talked a lot about this guy during mini camp
in the offseason. Oh what happens when training camp gets here?
What happens when the games get here? There were times
last night where Landon Robinson looked like he was unblockable.
And take it with a grain of salt. He's going
up against backups. The Lions didn't play anybody who mattered
last night. It's going up against backups. But you saw

a glimpse. You certainly didn't see a guy who was overwhelmed.
And I think you saw enough to make you want
to see more a week from tomorrow when the Bengals
take on the Chicago Bears. Kolbe Young caught a couple
of passes. He caught one pass where maybe a little bit,
a little bit of a brain fart. I felt like
he could have turned up field and got a first
down on a ball that he caught where they settled

for fourth and one.

Cash is how cash is.

Hall had a fumble recovery and half a sack like again,
we all know it's just preseason. We all know you
don't overreact to preseason. It's just one preseason game. But
it's the only body of work I have to go
by here, and the body of work so far from
the rookies, from the draft picks has been terrific, and like,

this is something that has to be better for the Bengals.
You know, last year we talked about how the light
bulb finally came on for Miles Murphy and it's great.
Miles Murphy's had a good camp. We've talked about, you know,
late late last year. By the end of the season,
DJ Turner had the profile of an ascending star in
his position, but the light bulb came on pretty late.

Bengals have to do a better job of accumulating draft
classes that they can get more out of immediately. They
need more instant impact draft picks. They don't have to
be stars, they don't have to be starters. But like
number one, ideally you're drafting for depth, and I do
(06:33):
believe in large part because they're set on one side
of the football and the work they did in free agency,
this wasn't a draft, and you know, it was pretty
abundantly clear once they traded away their first round pick,
they weren't going to have to use this draft to
find guys that were going to be counted on to
you know, overhaul a position group or make an immediate,
(06:53):
large impact. The hopes for a season not resting on
any of these rookies. Drafting for depth, what was on
display last night. Depth If you can consistently, as an
organization almost every year, if you can consistently get quality
(07:16):
first year production from your rookie classes, that's how you
have sustained success. That's how you have sustained success. That's
how you consistently have the ability to build really good rosters.
That's how you have an organization where you don't have
to make reaches for veteran players that are maybe gonna
(07:39):
have to be overpaid.

Like if you can get a lot out.

Of your cheap labor, not just your first rounders, and yeah, man,
it'd be great if every single player you draft can contribute.
It doesn't work that way, but that's something that this
team has to start getting a lot of really really
important contributions from players they draft in year one. Maybe
they don't get that this year, but last night last

night at least made you think that they've got a
chance to have some guys who even as depth pieces,
even as backups, can contribute Year one Orlando Brown and look, man,
there's lots of other like really good stuff to talk
about as it relates to last night.

A lot of really good stuff.

Last night I thought was a net positive and a
lot of players stood out for really good things and
mainly depth pieces. There were some players, as is the
case in every preseason game, that stand out for all
the wrong reasons. And maybe they're young guys like Taj Brooks,

or players who are clinging to a roster spot like
Dejon Anthony. And then there's then there's Orlando Brown. And
like I, I don't want to overreact to one game,
don't want to overreact to one moment. Don't want to
(09:09):
put a guy in a doghouse because he had a
bad game. Don't want to put a guy in the
doghouse because he had a bad moment. But Orlando Brown
had one last night where he gets absolutely destroyed for
a sack. And you know, guys get beat. Sometimes guys
(09:34):
get beat at the point of attack. Guys get beat
by players who are not stars. Or looking to earn
roster spots. But maybe the biggest, I don't know, and
most glaring sort of bad thing that happened last night
(09:57):
was Orlando Brown missing a block, getting whiffed or whipping
on a block, getting beaten and giving up a sack
that I think made all of us go Okay, Number one,
let's get Joe out of there.

Number two, Orlando Brown.

Yikes. I don't want to overreact to that. None of
us should. But let's be honest about Orlando Brown. Okay,
he was sixty sixth out of eighty nine qualifying tackles
in Pro Football Focuses grading last year. Heavily weighed down
(10:30):
by a run blocking grade that was below sixty. His
Pro Football Focus grade has gone down every year since
twenty twenty two. So let's be honest about this, Okay.
It would be unsurprising if that trend continued now. As
we often say on this show, there's room for multiple truths.
(10:53):
One of those truths, at least to me, is if
Orlando Brown is your weakest link on the offensive line,
you probably have a good offensive line. And I think
we all feel like the Bengals might have a good
offensive line In large part because of the way they
played in the second half of the season last year,
having Amrius Mims, having Dylan Fairchild, Ted Carris, bringing back
(11:14):
Dalton Reisner. If Orlando Brown is your fifth best offensive lineman,
you probably have a pretty good offensive line. But on
any team, you're always looking to fix the weakest link
at any position group on any team. And so, like,
(11:36):
none of us want to overreact to one moment in
one preseason game, none of us. None of us do.
But I think what last night did is it provided
a reminder that there were these moments, even amid some
really good offensive line play from Orlando Brown, where you
were like, oh boy, not sure. Kind of feels like
(11:58):
Orlando's best days are behind him as a football player.
And I think last night was a reminder of you
know what, we there might be a reality where Orlando
Brown's regression continues statistically he's been regressing every year since
twenty twenty two. Might be a world where he is
their worst offensive lineman and as awesome of a career
(12:19):
as he has had, as as as much as we'll
all acknowledge, he's going to be here for even longer
than we expected, because he got a contract extension this offseason.
How do you not have at least at a little
tiny amount of concern about the left tackle spot. And
if you have at least a little tiny bit of
concern about the left tackle spot, you have to have
in the back of your mind what some alternatives might be,
(12:43):
don't you Five point three seven four nine fifteen thirty
is our number? Eight six six seven oh two three
seven seven six works as well.

Very little time for phone calls this week. We've got

But the question is about left tackle. How concerned are
you do the Bengals have an Orlando Brown problem or
all of us overreacting. Do you believe that when the
bell rings and the games actually matter, that he's going
to answer the call? He may and maybe he deserves

that benefit of the doubt, or did you look at
last night the way I did and went, oh yeah,
I saw that last year. Not every play, maybe not
every game, but I saw something that looked like that
last year. By the way, you add to it, some
of the video we've all seen of Orlando Brown in
training camp struggling to block cash as How.

Tony and I have watched that.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Up close and in person, and it hasn't just been
cash as How, But I think that's Those are the
moments where he's been matched up against cashes where Orlando
Brown has looked like he has struggled the worst. Nobody's
saying bench them, nobody is saying cut him, nobody is
saying go overpay for whichever left tackle is out there.
But you do kind of stick that in the back
of your mind and you add it to some of

the stuff we saw from or Orlando last year. And
I don't know about you, but for me, I'm concerned
is maybe not the right word, but I'm I'm wondering
what sort of season we're going to see from Orlando Brown.
I think that's as fair as I can make. Five
point three, seven, four, nine, fifteen thirty is our number.

There was also last night a lesson if you have kids,
if you have like young people in your life, folks
who are trying to find their way in the world.
There was a great lesson that I think they can
learn based on last night's game, And it's immediate aftermath,

busy this weekend. A practice tomorrow. At practice. On Sunday,

in great detail on last night's preseason game, where the

good outweighed the bad. Part of the good was the
performance of Dante Myers. Paul Danner Junior and I have
had a running gag for years about the Moeger of
the Moegger Show Award, which goes to a wide receiver,
a skill player. Jack Andreies is eligible. By the way,
the kind of comes off comes from off the radar,

and everybody starts talking about him and tweeting about him
and learning more about him and imagining what his role
could be and talking about, you know, whether or not
he can make the team. Dante Myers is right now
the clubhouse leader for that award, and they used him
last night. Jet Sweet run for thirteen yards, he caught
three passes. He looked like a guy who could carve

out a role in this offense. But like this, to
me is the best part. And I think there's a
lesson here. So Dante Myers has been making plays in
camp and he is being talked about a lot in camp,
and you could see there was a concerted effort to
give him a chance to shine in the game. Last night,

He by no stretch has clinched a spot on this team,
but he got a ringing endorsement from Joe Burrow, And
I think there's a lesson here. Here's Joe Burrow telling
a story about reaching out to Dante Meyers to ask
him to come to a throwing session this offseason.

He just loves ball. You know, I was the week
before training camp. We I texted her and I was like, Hey,
are you in town? He's like, I can be. And

Come to find out, he drove from Atlanta that night
to be there to throw the next day. That's kind
of guy that he is. He's out a great camp.
He's quick, shifty, understands what we're trying to do. You know,
he's played a lot in the CFL, so you know
he comes over here hasn't played a lot in the NFL,
but he's he's got a lot of reps under his belt.

This guy that we've we've seen a lot out of him.

All right, there's Joe Burrow talking with reporters last night
and the audio wasn't great, but he's telling the story about,
you know, asking Dante Myers, hey, you know I want
to come from can you be available? And Joe quoted

And so he drives, I guess all night from Atlanta
and he's there the next morning for a throwing session

and he's a fun story. He went to Presbyterian on
a academic scholarship. Delta State, played in the CFL, won
a title Great Cup the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Fun story, but
also a cool lesson. Those words I can be if

the most important person where you work, if you're up
and coming, if you're the new guy, if you're the intern,
if you're the co op kid, if you're the person
on the bottom floor. Those are the three words I
can be. I'm not trying to make too much out

of this, but there's there's a lesson there. Like we've
had young people who've worked for us. Back in the
day we were allowed to have interns, and there have
been times where it's like, hey, man, need somebody to
come in. Can you be here in the morning to
do this? The ones who stand out are the ones
who say some variation of I can be.

REPS i just feel like they have so much depth

Chris jenkins is kind of that guy that felt like
the guy that may be slipping through the. Cracks you,
know you look at, him you look at, McKinley Landon.
Robinson Chris jenkins essentially told everyone, else you, know to
put that on the backburner right, now that he's got

the put up or shut up time and his point
in his career as A, bengal AND i thought that

There is a lot to chew on from last night.
It was a very pre e kind of preseason game.
It wasn't It was sloppy, There was lots of penalties,
It was disjointed. It looked like a preseason game. It
didn't look at all like what we're gonna watch in
a few weeks. That that didn't look like October November football.
(02:16):
That looked like August football. And it was amplified perhaps
by the moisture and the fact that we had some rain.
But the theme of the game, and we talked about
this yesterday, the theme of the game going in for
me at least, was depth. Right.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
I think we all feel pretty good about the ones.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
I think we all feel pretty good about, you know,
the starting offense and the guys who were gonna matter
the most on defense. But we talk a lot about
the Bengals having a really good roster. If they're gonna
have a really good roster, then then when depth is tested,
they have to pass. Last night was just one preseason game,
but it's all I have to react to for this
year's team, and the biggest takeaway was Bengals might have
(02:57):
some depth. There were lots of dudes, lots of guys
who either we've talked a little bit about during camp,
or who we've not talked about hardly at all during camp,
or who we know aren't going to be in featured
roles for this team, who did really, really good things.
We saw a lot of depth, start with the rookies.
(03:20):
Cash as how Jack Injuries. Jack Injuries hasn't had a
standout camp, and all the shows Tony and I have
done from Bengals training camp. I think we've mentioned his
name exactly one time. You couldn't watch the game last
night and not notice what he was doing catching the football.
Bengals have a really good and crowded tight end room.
(03:41):
My favorite player maybe on the team who's not named
Brian Cook, is Eric All but boy, there's a lot
of possibilities there at tight end. I think Jack Injuries
is the rookie, the draft pick that we talked about
the least, and you could argue last night he stood
out the most, or you can say that Brian Parker
(04:01):
stood out the most. Brian Parker looks already like he's
the best backup offensive lineman the Bengals have. He was
moving people at guard, he was moving people at center.
Brian Parker, I don't know that he has had a
standout training camp so far, but he was terrific last night.
Or it could have been Landon Robinson, and I will
(04:21):
admit to you this, like Landon Robinson, I don't know
any of us who doesn't root a little extra harder
for guys who come from service academies. There aren't a
lot of them, but we've talked about land and Robinson,
A's seventh rounder from Navy, more than we have anybody
else the Bengals drafted this year. And I've been skeptical, Okay, like, yeah,
(04:42):
we've talked a lot about this guy during mini camp
in the offseason. Oh what happens when training camp gets here?
What happens when the games get here? There were times
last night where Landon Robinson looked like he was unblockable.
And take it with a grain of salt. He's going
up against backups. The Lions didn't play anybody who mattered
last night. It's going up against backups. But you saw
(05:03):
a glimpse. You certainly didn't see a guy who was overwhelmed.
And I think you saw enough to make you want
to see more a week from tomorrow when the Bengals
take on the Chicago Bears. Kolbe Young caught a couple
of passes. He caught one pass where maybe a little bit,
a little bit of a brain fart. I felt like
he could have turned up field and got a first
down on a ball that he caught where they settled
(05:23):
for fourth and one.

Cash is how cash is.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Hall had a fumble recovery and half a sack like again,
we all know it's just preseason. We all know you
don't overreact to preseason. It's just one preseason game. But
it's the only body of work I have to go
by here, and the body of work so far from
the rookies, from the draft picks has been terrific, and like,
(05:48):
this is something that has to be better for the Bengals.
You know, last year we talked about how the light
bulb finally came on for Miles Murphy and it's great.
Miles Murphy's had a good camp. We've talked about, you know,
late late last year. By the end of the season,
DJ Turner had the profile of an ascending star in
his position, but the light bulb came on pretty late.
(06:12):
Bengals have to do a better job of accumulating draft
classes that they can get more out of immediately. They
need more instant impact draft picks. They don't have to
be stars, they don't have to be starters. But like
number one, ideally you're drafting for depth, and I do
(06:33):
believe in large part because they're set on one side
of the football and the work they did in free agency,
this wasn't a draft, and you know, it was pretty
abundantly clear once they traded away their first round pick,
they weren't going to have to use this draft to
find guys that were going to be counted on to
you know, overhaul a position group or make an immediate,
(06:53):
large impact. The hopes for a season not resting on
any of these rookies. Drafting for depth, what was on
display last night. Depth If you can consistently, as an
organization almost every year, if you can consistently get quality
(07:16):
first year production from your rookie classes, that's how you
have sustained success. That's how you have sustained success. That's
how you consistently have the ability to build really good rosters.
That's how you have an organization where you don't have
to make reaches for veteran players that are maybe gonna
(07:39):
have to be overpaid.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Like if you can get a lot out.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Of your cheap labor, not just your first rounders, and yeah, man,
it'd be great if every single player you draft can contribute.
It doesn't work that way, but that's something that this
team has to start getting a lot of really really
important contributions from players they draft in year one. Maybe
they don't get that this year, but last night last
(08:05):
night at least made you think that they've got a
chance to have some guys who even as depth pieces,
even as backups, can contribute Year one Orlando Brown and look, man,
there's lots of other like really good stuff to talk
about as it relates to last night.

A lot of really good stuff.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Last night I thought was a net positive and a
lot of players stood out for really good things and
mainly depth pieces. There were some players, as is the
case in every preseason game, that stand out for all
the wrong reasons. And maybe they're young guys like Taj Brooks,
(08:48):
or players who are clinging to a roster spot like
Dejon Anthony. And then there's then there's Orlando Brown. And
like I, I don't want to overreact to one game,
don't want to overreact to one moment. Don't want to
(09:09):
put a guy in a doghouse because he had a
bad game. Don't want to put a guy in the
doghouse because he had a bad moment. But Orlando Brown
had one last night where he gets absolutely destroyed for
a sack. And you know, guys get beat. Sometimes guys
(09:34):
get beat at the point of attack. Guys get beat
by players who are not stars. Or looking to earn
roster spots. But maybe the biggest, I don't know, and
most glaring sort of bad thing that happened last night
(09:57):
was Orlando Brown missing a block, getting whiffed or whipping
on a block, getting beaten and giving up a sack
that I think made all of us go Okay, Number one,
let's get Joe out of there.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Number two, Orlando Brown.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Yikes. I don't want to overreact to that. None of
us should. But let's be honest about Orlando Brown. Okay,
he was sixty sixth out of eighty nine qualifying tackles
in Pro Football Focuses grading last year. Heavily weighed down
(10:30):
by a run blocking grade that was below sixty. His
Pro Football Focus grade has gone down every year since
twenty twenty two. So let's be honest about this, Okay.
It would be unsurprising if that trend continued now. As
we often say on this show, there's room for multiple truths.
(10:53):
One of those truths, at least to me, is if
Orlando Brown is your weakest link on the offensive line,
you probably have a good offensive line. And I think
we all feel like the Bengals might have a good
offensive line In large part because of the way they
played in the second half of the season last year,
having Amrius Mims, having Dylan Fairchild, Ted Carris, bringing back
(11:14):
Dalton Reisner. If Orlando Brown is your fifth best offensive lineman,
you probably have a pretty good offensive line. But on
any team, you're always looking to fix the weakest link
at any position group on any team. And so, like,
(11:36):
none of us want to overreact to one moment in
one preseason game, none of us. None of us do.
But I think what last night did is it provided
a reminder that there were these moments, even amid some
really good offensive line play from Orlando Brown, where you
were like, oh boy, not sure. Kind of feels like
(11:58):
Orlando's best days are behind him as a football player.
And I think last night was a reminder of you
know what, we there might be a reality where Orlando
Brown's regression continues statistically he's been regressing every year since
twenty twenty two. Might be a world where he is
their worst offensive lineman and as awesome of a career
(12:19):
as he has had, as as as much as we'll
all acknowledge, he's going to be here for even longer
than we expected, because he got a contract extension this offseason.
How do you not have at least at a little
tiny amount of concern about the left tackle spot. And
if you have at least a little tiny bit of
concern about the left tackle spot, you have to have
in the back of your mind what some alternatives might be,
(12:43):
don't you Five point three seven four nine fifteen thirty
is our number? Eight six six seven oh two three
seven seven six works as well.

We've had.

Very little time for phone calls this week. We've got
a little room right now. Some stuff later on in
the show with some guests Tony Pike later on this hour.
But the question is about left tackle. How concerned are
you do the Bengals have an Orlando Brown problem or
all of us overreacting. Do you believe that when the
bell rings and the games actually matter, that he's going
to answer the call? He may and maybe he deserves
(13:18):
that benefit of the doubt, or did you look at
last night the way I did and went, oh yeah,
I saw that last year. Not every play, maybe not
every game, but I saw something that looked like that
last year. By the way, you add to it, some
of the video we've all seen of Orlando Brown in
training camp struggling to block cash as How.

Tony and I have watched that.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Up close and in person, and it hasn't just been
cash as How, But I think that's Those are the
moments where he's been matched up against cashes where Orlando
Brown has looked like he has struggled the worst. Nobody's
saying bench them, nobody is saying cut him, nobody is
saying go overpay for whichever left tackle is out there.
But you do kind of stick that in the back
of your mind and you add it to some of
(13:58):
the stuff we saw from or Orlando last year. And
I don't know about you, but for me, I'm concerned
is maybe not the right word, but I'm I'm wondering
what sort of season we're going to see from Orlando Brown.
I think that's as fair as I can make. Five
point three, seven, four, nine, fifteen thirty is our number.

There was also last night a lesson if you have kids,
if you have like young people in your life, folks
who are trying to find their way in the world.
There was a great lesson that I think they can
learn based on last night's game, And it's immediate aftermath,
and we'll get to that next on ESPN fifteen thirty

Tony Pike training camp report. No practice today, they are
busy this weekend. A practice tomorrow. At practice. On Sunday,
Tony joins us at three forty five. We'll obviously focus
in great detail on last night's preseason game, where the

good outweighed the bad. Part of the good was the
performance of Dante Myers. Paul Danner Junior and I have
had a running gag for years about the Moeger of
the Moegger Show Award, which goes to a wide receiver,
a skill player. Jack Andreies is eligible. By the way,
the kind of comes off comes from off the radar,

and everybody starts talking about him and tweeting about him
and learning more about him and imagining what his role
could be and talking about, you know, whether or not
he can make the team. Dante Myers is right now
the clubhouse leader for that award, and they used him
last night. Jet Sweet run for thirteen yards, he caught
three passes. He looked like a guy who could carve
(16:27):
out a role in this offense. But like this, to
me is the best part. And I think there's a
lesson here. So Dante Myers has been making plays in
camp and he is being talked about a lot in camp,
and you could see there was a concerted effort to
give him a chance to shine in the game. Last night,
(16:47):
He by no stretch has clinched a spot on this team,
but he got a ringing endorsement from Joe Burrow, And
I think there's a lesson here. Here's Joe Burrow telling
a story about reaching out to Dante Meyers to ask
him to come to a throwing session this offseason.

He just loves ball. You know, I was the week
before training camp. We I texted her and I was like, Hey,
are you in town? He's like, I can be. And
I was like, can you be here tomorrow at eleven?

He's like yeah.

Come to find out, he drove from Atlanta that night
to be there to throw the next day. That's kind
of guy that he is. He's out a great camp.
He's quick, shifty, understands what we're trying to do. You know,
he's played a lot in the CFL, so you know
he comes over here hasn't played a lot in the NFL,
but he's he's got a lot of reps under his belt.

This guy that we've we've seen a lot out of him.

All right, there's Joe Burrow talking with reporters last night
and the audio wasn't great, but he's telling the story about,
you know, asking Dante Myers, hey, you know I want
to come from can you be available? And Joe quoted
Dante Myers with three important words, quote I can be.
And so he drives, I guess all night from Atlanta
and he's there the next morning for a throwing session

and he's a fun story. He went to Presbyterian on
a academic scholarship. Delta State, played in the CFL, won
a title Great Cup the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Fun story, but
also a cool lesson. Those words I can be if

the most important person where you work, if you're up
and coming, if you're the new guy, if you're the intern,
if you're the co op kid, if you're the person
on the bottom floor. Those are the three words I
can be. I'm not trying to make too much out

of this, but there's there's a lesson there. Like we've
had young people who've worked for us. Back in the
day we were allowed to have interns, and there have
been times where it's like, hey, man, need somebody to
come in. Can you be here in the morning to
do this? The ones who stand out are the ones
who say some variation of I can be.

Look if if Joe Burrow says to Jamar Chase, hey,
you're not in town, but can you be here tomorrow,
and Jamar Chase is like, Dude, I'm Jamar Chase.

That's one thing, by the way, part of what makes
Jamar Chase Jamar Chase is he's probably often been, and
I can be kind of guy. There's two types of people.
There's two types of people looking for a big break.

We go to the new guy, young guys still in college. Hey, captain,
any chance you could be here on Saturday to help

your kid's an intern somewhere. The new guy person mopping floors,
young lady working in the mailroom, somebody of high stature says, hey,
can you be here? Then the answer is I can be.
If you're Dante Myers, it doesn't matter where you are

or what you're doing. Joe Burrow calls and says, I
want to throw you some passes.

I got very early on, it's Hey, could you come

I can be turned into a full time job. If
if the first three words out of your mouth when
you're a guy like Dante Myers is begging for a

People not so much. I'm rooting like hell for Dante Myers.
I'm serious about this. Tell your kids, there's a lesson.
If the Joe Burrow of where you work, if you're

women just getting started, whoever the Joe Burrow is of
the workplace, the manager, the owner, the CEO, the department head,
whoever it is, can you be here for this? I
can be It's extraordinary the amount of opportunities that are
gonna come your way. So what happens last night? Who

I can be a guy. That's not a coincidence. Sports
