Tony Bengals played the Lions tonight to open up the preseason.
And look, we've talked about whether or not Joe Burrow
should play and some of the storylines for the game tonight,
and all that's well and good. I'd rather talk about you,
your favorite subject, because yesterday the Bengals announced that they
are adding you to their radio broadcast booth, alongside Dan
Horde and Dave Lapham. I didn't think it was possible

(00:21):
for the Bengals radio network broadcasts to be any better.
I was wrong, because they're adding someone like yourself. You
know what a fan I am personally, You know what
a fan I am professionally, and so I have nothing
to add to that beyond congratulations.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
I appreciate that. I can tell you. Yesterday when I
was driving home, I stopped by my grandma's house. She
was one very complimentary of you and the kind words
you had to say, but also very happy to know
that she can still come and watch us at the
Tony and Mo Football Show on Mondays, which is a
big thing to get out there that you and I

(00:57):
are still going to get together pregame. We're gonna be
able to get together on Mondays. To wrap up the game.
But you know, as someone you know, my story has
has been told. I grew up in Cincinnati, so Cincinnati
sports of all I've ever known, and as much of
a diehard Bearcat fan I am, I grew up literally
listening to Dave Lapham, I've listened to Dan horde. They

have been the voice of so many things that I've
been a part of. And to be a part of
that and to join those guys and Lance during these
there's just I'm honored, and I'm grateful, and I'm thankful
and I'm excited to get started tonight.
