Speaker 1 (00:00):
One O six Boy seven Light FM. Good Morning Cubby
and Christine, Producer Kristen on this Tuesday, November twenty fifth,
one month from Christmas. Your weather today cloudy until about
four o'clock. Then we got rain moving in. It could
be heavy for the commute going home. High fifty six
so temperature's not too bad, but rain is on the
way either way. Christine, you need a jacket.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Uh huh.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
We're gonna have a little jacket discussion right now. Yes,
for a couple of reasons. Right, aren't you due for one? Anyway?

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I'm due for one. So I was starting to look
for one, and you know winters here can be very harsh. Yeah,
So I said, I wanted the biggest, puffiest coat, the
one that goes from your head down to your toe
woes right. And then I found out, thank you Luftanza,
that Eric and I are going to Germany the Christmas markets,
so we're going to be out there. So I had

(00:49):
already ordered a couple of puffy coats. I figured, let
me try a couple, eliminate the ones we don't like.
I tried them on for Eric yesterday. First one I
put on no.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Oh, he said no, but.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
It was one of those. I was like, did you
did you look at the puff and no, I don't
like it. No, And it was like a knockoff covey
of what's the real expensive guy goose.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Yes, that's the one I recommend, by the way, and
I'll have a little discussion with your second about that.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
This is like have you heard of the company Quins.
They're really cool. They they'll look like luxury, but they're
from so they're affordable. So it's supposed to look like
one of those and be as warm as one of those,
not the type you have, like a long puffy one.
They said, like the movie stars wear a movie sets.
So I like that one. Hello wrap waste. He said
it looked like a big bathrobe because it had a tie.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
All right, more about the look or being warm exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Then I put on the next one, which was like
super super warm, and I thought it was great. This
one was a Columbia one and he went, oh no,
really that like that wasn't even big jacket, very harsh.
He only gives it like a second and it gets
a no, and then he finally said he's like, look,
there's gonna be no puffy coat that you can get

(02:04):
that I'm gonna like. So he's like, you just have
to get what do you like? Yeah, exactly, he said,
you just have to get what you like, what you
feel warmest in. I'm like, okay, but I kind of
like I don't want to look like Mitchell entire man,
like I wanted to look.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
When it's really cold, though, I don't care what I
look like as long as I'm warm. And and those
Canada goose jackets that I have, I told you, well,
you remember the rule that my wife had.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Yeah, we've got to share this story.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
It's the warmest jacket I've ever had, and it's very expensive.
You're right, you talked about the price. I think they
might be what fifteen hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Now fifteen hundred coming.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
So my wife said, you can have one, honey, but
you better wear this jacket for ten years. I'm at
year number eight. This season will be year number eight.
It's in good shape, yes, and you know what, it's
gonna go way past ten. I don't plan on getting
another jacket. It pays for itself over time.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Well, see, that's the thing orsement I understand. I think
Coco did the Girl math and I think it worked
out really well, but you've got to make that initial investment,
so that's like a lot upfront. So I'm trying to
find one. Like these guys were like two hundred and
now there's gonna be Black Friday sales. They might be
even better.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
The higher the price, the warmer you'll get.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Really, that's what I feel. I don't know, but now
I'm stuck because I want to feel good about it,
but I just keep getting numb.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Well, Texas, right now at four four three sixth three,
what is the warmest jacket you believe in? Hit us
up right now, help Christine? Four four three six three.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Do you care, like, honestly, do you care about your
pictures and all that kind of stuff? If it's cold
out there and you're in the biggest puff on the planet,
does it even does it even change what you're shopping for?

Speaker 1 (03:40):
All right? Hit us up? Coming up, Debbie Gibson, She'll
be here just after eight o'clock and your chance to
win it involves Wicked Coming up next on LNEFM.
