Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bryan jun Daptor is as a writer and American thinker
and frequent guests in our program. Freedom of speech is
hard to find, especially when you have Hillary Clinton saying
things like maybe we need to put people in jail
for spreading misinformation.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Exactly right, And that's a preview of coming attractions depending
on how the election goes. If the Democrats retain power,
increase their power, I would definitely expect that, you.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Know, this attax on speech, Hillary Clinton most recently talking
about people should be jailed from misinformation. You know, this
is sort of like, how do you define it? What
is misinformation? If these people are in charge?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Exactly, misinformation is in the eye of the beholder. And
what they're saying is if you don't agree with us,
that's misinformation, and we will jail you for it. That's
what we've seen in communist countries, and that's that's Orwellian,
that's out of nineteen eighty four, and that's what they're
The gloves are off, they're talking about it. They're not
(01:04):
hiding it anymore. And I think the left has always
talked a good game about free speech, but in reality,
it's their speech that they want to protect.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Well, there used to be a court system to back
you up in your right to those freedoms. Does that
court system still exist or is that in peril as well?
Speaker 2 (01:25):
I think it is in peril. You look at the
lawt air against Donald Trump, trumped up charges to use
a phrase, cases that shouldn't be brought, that are being
decided in very partisan districts that are overwhelmingly pro Democrat
corrupt judges, and we're seeing that now. I don't know
(01:45):
that we can trust the legal system anymore.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
You fiza courts too. Right at the very top, you've
got corrupt regimes going and getting warrants to tap the
phones and monitor not just potential presidents of the United States,
but also every American citizen.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Well, and beyond that, you have federal agencies that are
making up information like the Steele dossier and using that
as a predicate. This by on presidential candidates buy in
an administration. And that's I mean, even if Trump selected,
that's what he's going to face, and that's going to
be a big challenge to root out.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
You know, it feels Brian like, you know, there's so
much stacked against us that even if we would have
a good election result, in November. Is that going to
be enough to save the system or what else is
going to be required in order to be able to
preserve our freedoms.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
It's difficult, and it's got to come from the people
and how they vote and local elections, state elections, etc.
You can't rely on one man to do it all.
Donald Trump cannot do it all. Entrenched bureaucrats and partisans
and these agencies that all has to be cleaned out.
It has to be done slowly but methodically, but it
has to be done otherwise it's a fourth branch of
(03:05):
government that's running things and they decide what's free speech
or not. It's very big brother like.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yes, it is nice, sir, Thank you appreciate it. Brian
