Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, a few more of those blue Nashville cats showed
up for that Tennessee special election. Republicans won by a
relatively narrow margin. Actually didn't try out to me quite
as narrow as the Fundans we're saying it was, but
they got everybody's attention because the Democrat running, boy, she's
pretty far left. Chris Pagala joins US political analyst to

(00:21):
talk about this before we get to the Jasmine Crockett story.
I hate putting. I hate how we put so much
stock in things like this to say, well, this is
just not bode well for the midterms. The midterms are
long ways away. When you get right down to it.
What's going on with the economy is going to count
for a whole lot more what happens to the midterms.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Don't you think I do?

Speaker 3 (00:42):
And I think you know we're in this non stop Jimmy,
you know, Election Campaign Watch or what have you. But
the facts are Trump won that Tennessee district by twenty
two points, and the Republican running against what most people
thought was a darn farr left Democrat who had a

(01:03):
lot of negativity on her resume, that Republican won by
nine So the Republican wins by nine in a district
Trump by one by twenty two. That does not portend
what's going to happen across the entire nation. But I'm
here to say the midterms, it's almost a guarantee that

(01:23):
every sitting president loses seats in the midterm. Out of
the last nineteen we can go back to nineteen forty six,
out of the last nineteen midterm elections, presidents have lost
seats every single time except once, and that was back
in two thousand and two.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
George W.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Bush was you know, strong and had a lot of
support because that was right after nine to eleven. That's
the only time. So, you know, I hate to say this,
but it's just going to happen. Trump will lose seats,
He will lose the House. That's my estimation, you know,
given unforeseen circumstances. If everything somewhat stays the same, Trump's

(02:04):
gonna lose.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Some seats next year, even with the redistrict.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Because the Supreme courts have held what we did here
in Texas, so there's the possibility we pick up five
seats here.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
It's possible. Yes, I think that is going to happen
in uh in Texas. But across the country again, we
shall see the economy will make a big statement, and
let's see where things are in another you know, eight nine,
ten months. But I think even with those seats, you know,

(02:35):
California added a few for the D's, it's kind of
kind of mesh out there. I hope I'm wrong, but
I think Trump's going to lose the House next year.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
All right, Chris Bagalif, what do you make of the
candidacy of Jasmine Crockett running for the US Senate for
the Democrat nomination. She's leading in all the polls. The
only thing I can figure out she's done is gone
crazy and run, you know, and gotten the big reaction
from Donald Trump, and maybe for her supporters that's the
only thing she needs to do. She hasn't actually proposed
any programs, No, she never has. I'd like Jasmine Crockett

(03:08):
to meet a gentleman by the name of Betto O'Rourke.
That's who she might want to talk with about how
it's like to run as a far left Democrat and
lose in Texas. Look, she's doing this because she's going
to even get more name id She is another example
of how this Democratic Party has lost its center base

(03:32):
and the far left have taken over.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
No matter what you think, I'm not being disrespectful. Jasmine
Crockett is out of her mind. I mean she accused
all kinds of Republicans, including EPA director Lee Zelden, of
taking money from Jeffrey Epstein, not the pedophile. I'm sorry,
miss Crockett, it's doctor Jeffrey Epstein. It was a different person,

(03:56):
and she muddled her way around that. That was embarrassing.
She called called Ice agents slave patriots. Every other minute,
every time her mouth is moving, she's calling Trump hitler.
I mean, it's a joke. She's far left. She's going
to raise money. I'd like to see on election day
how much money that she's raised, that she has spent.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
She's going to keep a few million bucks.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
And therefore her war chest will be a little bigger
than it is now. Her name ideal will be bigger.
It's another example of this party, the Democratic Party, being taken.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Over, hijacked by the far far left.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
She's looney to it well, and the template is very
clear for Democrats at this point. Be as outrageous as
you can get, as much attention as you can make
as much money as you can and who cares about
anything else.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
No doubt, her goal is to raise her name ID.
She will do that. She's going to open doors and
talk to very rich Democratic donors around Texas and around
the country. She's going to benefit from that. She's going
to raise money. He's not going to spend all the
money she raises, mark my words. That is a victory
for her. She's going to lose. Now the Republican who's

(05:08):
going to be there could be Cornying, you know, it
could even be Ken Paxton.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
We'll see her. Wesley Hunt.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
That's a very very contentious race on the R side.
That's a long ways off, let's see. But this is
not about winning. This is about making money. The far
left taking over the Democratic Party and this person, Jasmine Crockett,
just just putting more money in her campaign war chest.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
All right, Chris, thanks as always, appreciate your time. Political
