Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, you know, you may know this the Russia collusion hoax,
but our next guesst Larry Elder is calling it Obamagate,
and for good reason. By the way, seven to fifty
two is their time here in Houston's morning News. He
wrote an article for town Hall where he'd like to
see January the sixth Insurrection style committee hearings what he's
calling Obamagate. Welcome to our shiel, Larry, good to have you.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Thank you for having me appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Let's talk about Obama Gate, is you're dubbing it? Now
that we know the former president's involved in in this,
do you think he needs to get a subpoena?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Oh? Absolutely, for a couple of reasons. First of all,
regarding the fake Steele dottier, he was briefed on that
when Hillary first started talking about it, and her goal
was to deter people from talking about her unsecured basement server,
which is a clear violation of the Espionage Acts. She
wanted to change the subject. He was briefed on that,
and he was told that the Steele doctier was bogus.

(00:54):
He didn't care. And then fast forward, Donald Trump becomes
president and all of a sudden, the same intelligence that
the Russians were interfering, which nobody disagreed with, but that
there's no evidence they interfered on behalf of Trump. All
of a sudden, Obama calls it his intelligence as and says,
give me a new assessment, except this time I want
you to talk about the interference helping Donald Trump. And
he authories, of course Crossfire Hurricane to investigate Trump's alleged

(01:17):
collusion with Russia and with Trump. So Obama is up
to his ears in Obamagate, and he absolutely should be
at least to investigate it. Now. I don't believe for
a minute he'll ever be indicted for all sorts of reasons,
not least to which is the race card. Take George
Floyd what happened during the summer of twenty twenty and
put it on steroids. That's what would happened to much

(01:39):
of the country if God forbid. The first black president
should ever be indicted. But that does not mean we
can't have January sixth style hearing to expose what they've
done and to deter from happening in the future.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Yeah, forcements justified. He also has presidential immunity, doesn't he.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Probably that Supreme Court case that Donald Trump won probably
shields them from that. But beyond that, as I said earlier,
it's the race card. There's no way in the world
that the first black president could be indicted and half
the country would be okay with that. They would not
be okay with that. So he's probably home free. And
that's not the case about Brennan, in Strock, in Paige
and Comy and some of these other people who are involved.

(02:16):
But it certainly probably shields the Barack Obama for many
kinds of criminal liability.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Doesn't shield, however, Hillary Clinton. Does she need to be
called and called?

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Maybe first absolutely, you know, think about it. Hillary Clinton
paid for the Steele dossier, as did the DNC, and
the Federal Election Commission gave her a fine. She was
never posited criminally. Donald Trump called the payments of Stormy
Daniels a legal expense, as Hillary did the payments for
Steele Dottier. Donald Trump gets prosecuted and gets convicted by

(02:44):
basically a Trump hating jury. It is outrageous double standard.
Guess the one word thing about double standards. You talked
earlier about redistricting your state, Rapp who called it again
to the Holocaust has now apologized, but Obama has not
apologized for its calling it under mining our democracy. This
is a guy who, when he was a state senator,
redesigned his state Senate district after he lost a primary

(03:08):
to Bobby Rush. Black voters did not like him, so
he redesigned his district and made it less black, more white,
more affluent, more Jewish so he could make sure that
he would never be challenged. Did an article in pro Publica,
which is a left wing publication, called Obama's jerry mandain.
So this is the same guy who protected his district
by engaging in jerry mandain. Now all of a sudden
it undermines our democracy. Can you say hypocrisy?

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Oh yeah, it's all about hypocrisy. Larry, thank you for
joining us up. Were all the time for the show today,
but appreciate having me on national hosts. Former Republican candidate
