Speaker 9 (01:52):
Uh nope, sorry, got a miscommunication here. Donald Trump at
one of the four rallies he did yesterday on the
eve at the election day last night, at rally number
three in Pittsburg, he announced a major endorsement. It was
that he got the endorsement of Joe Rogan, the podcaster
with twenty five million followers on x Rogan wrote that
(02:15):
Elin Musk convinced him to vote for Trump during an
interview which has gotten twenty million views on x and
another five point two million on YouTube. After weeks of
calling Trump a fascist, a Nazi, a tyrant, and a dictator,
Kamala Harris decided to change her tone. On the final
day of the campaign. She basically talked about love and
(02:38):
how we're going to turn the page and we're gonna unite.
She dropped all references to Trump and her speeches yesterday,
but she still managed to get in a few little snarks.
Pulling by Atlas Intel shows Trump leading in all seven
swing states as of this morning, with three point leads
in North Carolina and Nevada. It is now five oh three.
(03:00):
Polls across Texas open at seven am for election day.
Harris County officials expect a huge turnout.
Speaker 10 (03:06):
I do believe it's going to be record breaking. I mean,
we have a situation where we have two candidates that
are bringing a lot of attention to this election cycle.
Speaker 9 (03:14):
County Clerk Tanisha Hutsbet there with our TV partner Channel two,
is her first national elections is taking over for those
unelected administrators appointed by the Democrats. Here Isabelle Longoria and
then Clifford Tatum. You will need photo ID to vote
and polls will be open until seven pm. State Attorney
General Ken Pax ensuing the Biden Harris administration to block
(03:36):
federal election monitors people from coming into Harris County and
other locations the polls themselves in Texas. Despite the lawsuit, though,
those monitors still plan to arrive in Harris County and
others will have more at five point thirty. As the
election approaches tonight, will we see delays in Texas counts
(03:56):
once again?
Speaker 11 (03:58):
Long gone are the days of simple transparency, but there's
been some positive progression towards integrity.
Speaker 12 (04:04):
The counties are waiting to release election day returns of larger.
Speaker 11 (04:07):
Batchett Rosshn of Hunt Research says in Texas we should
see results rather quickly. However, that's on the national scale.
The smaller state races are another subject. When it comes to.
Speaker 12 (04:17):
The congressional races, US House, the Texas State House, Texas
Court of Appeals, and many local initiatives, that's where.
Speaker 11 (04:24):
We could really have later nights, he says, Though, to
avoid jumping to conclusions when the numbers start rolling in
Andre Perard News Radio seven forty k t RH.
Speaker 9 (04:34):
Final polling from the Senate races between Texan Ted Cruz
and Democrat Congressman Colin Alread from Morning Consult gives Cruise
a three point lead. Signal polling has Cruise up by four.
It is now five toh five. Campaigns up and down
the ballot spent nearly a billion dollars in just the
final week of the race, two hundred and seventy two
(04:55):
million of that money on the presidential race alone. We've
observed for years cal Californians have brought their politics with
them when they moved here, So will that impact our elections?
Speaker 13 (05:09):
What's happening in Texas is that you continue to have
these urban core areas that are left wing, you continue
to have the rural areas that are deep red, and
then the battleground is the suburbs.
Speaker 9 (05:21):
Chuck Devora with the Texas Public Policy Foundation says Texas
remains read despite the influx of Democrats. Mexico has been
holding back illegal aliens from the southern border, but after
tonight we could see another surge.
Speaker 14 (05:34):
Thousands of immigrants are already working their way north through Mexico.
Speaker 15 (05:38):
They are all busting to get to the border, and
the only things standing in their way are Mexican troops,
and it looks like they're starting to be pulled back already.
Speaker 14 (05:46):
Todd Bensman with the Center for Immigration Study says after
tonight all bets are off.
Speaker 15 (05:50):
There is a high likelihood that we will see massive
numbers pour over at all points not long after the election.
Speaker 14 (05:58):
Bensman says, we might have time to prepare, but when
the surge hits Texas, we won't be able to stop it.

Speaker 9 (06:35):
Channel, in just a few minutes well because of Biden
Harris policy, Texas now has the highest wholesale prices for
electricity over the past three years. It's a new study
from the Energy Alliance and it blames inflation, but there
were other factors too. According to uh Energy fellow ed.
Speaker 16 (06:51):
Hers, everybody else had a much lower fullsale electricity price
because of our great production of natural gas and how
that drove the price down.
Speaker 9 (07:02):
Members of the Texas legislatures say they will make energy
top priority in the next year's legislative session. Governor Greg
Abbott deploying additional state resources to fight the Hudson wildfire
in Bastrop County. The fire has impacted four hundred acres
and force the evacuation of at least five homes.
Speaker 7 (07:21):
Depending on fire behavior. We hope throughout the day we'll
be able to relay what a return to home will
look like.
Speaker 9 (07:28):
That's Carey Hines with the Forest Service. Officials say the
fire now sixty percent contained. It's five oh seven. The
Rockets beat the Nicks one O nine to ninety seven.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
It is five oz week now Here in Houston's morning news,
you might have heard that President Trump picked up a
last minute endorsement from Joe Rogan. Is that a game changer?
Joe Rogan says he's never endorsed anybody before. It's the
first time he did. He endorsed them because of Elon Musk,
(08:31):
who basically told him that without Donald Trump, we are
I can't actually quote him. I can only say we
are well, I'll rephrase it. We're screwed is basically what
he said. So you've got the Joe Rogan endorsement. I
don't know if that leads to anybody, especially at this
late hour going to the polls. By the way polls
(08:52):
are opened, the first votes have been cast in New Hampshire,
which traditionally casts the first vote of the vot is
tied at three apiece between Trump and Harris out of
what's that little town in New Hampshire, dick' something Dick
Dick Snatch, something like that, New Hampshire. I think Dicksville. Okay,
(09:12):
there you go. So the boat just tied three to
three poles open in about another twenty minutes on the
East coast. In some places they opened as early as
six thirty Eastern times, so we're about twenty minutes away
from that actually happening. So there you go. That's what
we have so far. Do a little traffic and weather
together as we check out the drive. The weather's going
to be an issue for the drive this morning, sky Mike.
Speaker 5 (09:33):
Yeah, my pop Piel's pocket radar is already lighting up there, Terry,
especially up to the upper left that would be the
northwest side. And if you had a grand march at
your wedding, definitely take that snooze off. Two ninety we're
getting some showers. It looks like around Grand Parkway Grand
Parkway north right out in the cow pastures we look
pretty heavy. And also two forty nine, coming down from Magnolia,
(09:53):
we have a stall. Thanks for the tip line caller
that was inbound southwest freeway trends star still trying to
scramble and find it.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Williams Trace that's northbound.
Speaker 5 (10:02):
Looks like it's on the left side, kind of a
sticky spot, so watch out. And again if you're driving
something high profile, we'll check ship channel bridges at the
five twenty oh great Princess of the golf ball, please.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Spare us the sprizz and our hair.
Speaker 5 (10:16):
I'm Skymike in the classic Buick GMC Traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
From our kt RH top tax defenders. Twenty four hour
weathers and a couple of things to discuss with you
this morning. We've got a line of storms moving through.
That's number one, and then we've got some action in
the Gulf of Mexico coming somewhere to the Gulf coast. Look,
we're kind of wondering if we've got that fine tuned
at all about where that could go.
Speaker 18 (10:37):
Right, Okay, so let's get the tropical system out of
the way. It's a tropical storm Raphael with sixty mile
an hour winds and will likely become a hurricane by
tomorrow and make its way into the Golf of Mexico. Now,
at this point, the two things I want us to
focus on is it's it's forecast right now to be
(10:58):
in the Gulf of Mexico through at least Sunday morning,
all right, So we've got lots of time to see
what this is going to do. And it's forecast to
be a tropical storm by Sunday morning. So we'll keep
watching it. And we do need to watch it, because
every time I see an update, I see that update
(11:20):
shifting a little bit further west, and I'm not liking
that trend. But we'll continue to kind of find too
that over the next six days. Closer to home, and
more importantly, is what's happening right now. We've got that
line of showers and storms just beginning to make its
way into Conroe, the woodlands near Rosenberg.
Speaker 7 (11:40):
It's going to be working.
Speaker 18 (11:41):
Its way through the metro area this morning, and the
rain should be tapering off by late morning at least
this round of rain. We still have an eighty percent
chance of showers and storms through the course of the
day until things completely dry out later on late today.
Temperatures today in the seventies. Now tomorrow's a dry day
(12:04):
and we're going to be warming up close to eighty
and then we still have a thirty percent chance of
more rain Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and we'll talk more
about that through the rest of the morning.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
All right, right now seventy eight at your official severe

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Day, five nineteen. Here on Houston's Morning News. It is
election day. You believe we're finally here?
Speaker 9 (12:39):
No, you know, I fell asleep before Trump's final rally
last night, and I should have just gotten up early
like I've been doing Lalante lately, because he was dancing
at the end of his Michigan rally at two ten
a m.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Yeah, dancing doesn't play well in the radio. But you'll
be glad to know I have other high lights.
Speaker 7 (12:57):
The music was good.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Yeah, all have other highlights as well. I believe, Yeah,
I can.
Speaker 7 (13:02):
I'm telling you that guy just.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
Yeah, he keeps on going. He's like the energizer bunny. Wow,
he looked like he got a fresh spray tan.
Speaker 9 (13:08):
Yeah, had his family with him. He's very human.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
He is very human. I would like him to pick.
Speaker 7 (13:14):
It humanized himself, you know, yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
I would like him to pick a different color though,
something of orange. Yeah, a little less orange, you know,
a little more, a little more brown in there, a
little less orange, I think would work.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Well.
Speaker 9 (13:24):
Yeah, I don't care if he's known as orange man.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
Man. Maybe he goes better with his hair. I don't
know anyway. Highlights Megan Kelly. We're trying to turn out
the female vote yesterday at his Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rally. We'll
share that with you first, though. Let's do a little
traffic and weather together, starting with the U S guy,
Mike Oh.
Speaker 5 (13:42):
I wish we could give him a hard hat. Let's
go to the east side. Check your ship channel bridges now.
If you're high profile this morning, you want to be
a little careful unless that wind is pretty crazy looking
at the Hartman Bridge. Beautiful shot here camera one three
zero seven on the Transtar system. If you're playing the
home game and we look good from the baits Onside Laporte,
you look nice too. Flip over here to the toll
(14:03):
bridge either way and looks good to go. Two lanes
of fun going both ways here. And if you're doing
the six to ten Sherman Bridge. Looks like we've got
nothing to do so far, Bud Plant Rock and Long

on two ninety and Waller on mainlanes, Tyrone. I need
some better sound quality, my friend seven one three two

Megan Kelling, who's become a big time Trump supporter, especially
(16:03):
on her podcast, made an appearance at his Pittsburgh rally
last night trying to drum up some female votes and
explain why she supports Trump.
Speaker 19 (16:14):
Let me tell you, first of all, one of the
reasons why I wanted to come here, one of the
many reasons I.
Speaker 7 (16:18):
Wanted to come here.
Speaker 19 (16:19):
When I launched my show four years ago, we had
Mark Cuban.
Speaker 7 (16:22):
On the program here Ye may Seine.
Speaker 19 (16:26):
He was in the news this week and he started
going on about how bad America's race history was and
how ashamed he was of America, and that's why I
was at all these protests, and he felt it was
really important to stand up and speak out about human
rights violations.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
And then it got awkward when I.
Speaker 19 (16:42):
Asked him about all the money he was taking from China.
Then he dropped a bunch of f bombs, and I thought,
I really enjoy this feeling of proving Mark Cuban wrong.
Speaker 7 (16:54):
And so here I am.
Speaker 19 (16:57):
I had a Trump rally, a strong intelligent woman.
Speaker 7 (17:03):
To prove Mark Cuban wrong again.
Speaker 19 (17:10):
I want to take up much of your time, but
I do want to tell you the main reasons I
am voting for Donald Trump. Number one immigration, he mentioned it,
and people like Lake and Raould. I'll be thinking about
her tomorrow all day. Twenty two years old, killed in Georgia,
a young nursing student by an illegal. I'll be thinking
(17:30):
about Jocelyn Nungari, twelve years old in Texas, murdered by
two Venezuelan illegals. President Trump closed the border. Kamala Harris
opened it by choice. It wasn't accidental. She said it
would be humane. That's what she and her boss believed.
Tell it to Lake and Riley's family. There was nothing
humane about it. He closed it, they opened it. It
(17:53):
was an intentional choice, and there's no reason not to
believe they won't do it again. The boys should not
be in the girl's sports. The boy should not be
in the girl's bathrooms. The boys should not be in
the girl's locker rooms. Peyton McNabb, North Carolina, sophomore in
(18:15):
high school slams so hard in the face by a
volleyball hit at her by a boy pretending to be
a girl. She suffered traumatic brain injury and permanent paralysis.
Kamala Harris looks at her and says, be kind, suck.
Speaker 20 (18:30):
It up, and that's what's right.
Speaker 19 (18:35):
Why do our girls have to face brain damage in
order to be kind to boys who want to invade
their sports? And by the way, they are going into
the women's prisons. She changed the law in California to
make sure that taxpayers would pay for their sex change operations.
She was not just following the law.
Speaker 7 (18:53):
She changed the law.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
President Trump will stop it.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Part of the case she built. It was pretty good.
One five twenty six is our time here in Houston's
Warning News. It is time to take a look at
your money. Courtney don hold, good morning to you.
Speaker 21 (19:07):
Well, good morning, Jimmy. Investors are sending stocks hire this
election day. Dow futures up seventy five points now. The
outcome of the election could have a significant impact on
the financial markets. Different sectors, different industries will likely be
affected by a Trump or Harris victory. Plus election day
will be follown on Thursday by the Federal Reserves rate decision.
It was a down day for stocks yesterday. The Dow
(19:28):
fell two hundred and fifty eight points to wrap up
the day. In other news, the strike is over at
Boeing factory. Workers voted to accept a new contract offer.
It will hike workers pay by thirty eight percent over
four years, but Boeing stood its ground and refused to
restore the pension plan. Airplane production was shut down for
nearly eight weeks, and now that TGI Fridays has filed
(19:48):
for bankruptcy, the chains franchises are worried that people who
have held gift cards for a long time will rush
and use them. It's estimated that nearly fifty million dollars
worth of gift cards and gift certificates are tucked away
somewhere and they never expire. Courtney's on a home Bloomberg

let's check out that morning drive with Skymine.
Speaker 5 (20:44):
All right, we've got some trouble coming in from Waller,

the news. Here's Sheriff Fryar and good morning everyone.
Speaker 9 (21:40):
Is five thirty one on news radio seven forty KTRH
and our top story this hour. It was years of
campaigning and it comes down now to today election day. Donald
Trump announcing action to secure the border and also action
against Mexico.
Speaker 24 (21:54):
If they don't stop this spawngslaught of criminals and drugs
coming in to our country, I'm going to immediately impose
a twenty five percent tariff on everything they send in
to the United States.
Speaker 9 (22:09):
Of America Trump in North Carolina. There, the President also
held a pair of rallies in Pennsylvania, closing out the
night in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It didn't end till two
ten am today. Kamala Harris dropped all mention of Donald
Trump during Hurricane pen rallied yesterday, but she didn't stop
talking about the man himself.
Speaker 25 (22:31):
We have an opportunity in this election.
Speaker 7 (22:34):
To finally turn the page on a.
Speaker 25 (22:36):
Decade of politics driven by fear and division.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
We are done with that.
Speaker 9 (22:42):
We're done, or at least some persons she was referring to.
Harris closed her campaign from the steps of the Philadelphia
Art Museum. Polls will be open from seven to seven
across Texas, with fifty percent of those registered in the
state have already voted. Federal election monitors though they plan
to come to Harris County. These are ones sent here
(23:04):
by the Biden Harris regime at the request of our
local Democrat leadership. But State Senator Paul Pettencourt says that
makes no sense because Democrats are already running the elections
in Harris County and most of our urban areas.
Speaker 26 (23:20):
Having Democrat elected officials. To call and say we need
to stop voter suppression, votes being stolen by whom is
Tarnisha Husbith going to steal votes? She's in charge of
the elections Republicans, aren't Its hypocrisy.
Speaker 9 (23:35):
Texas suing the Biden Herism administration over this, calling the
DOJ's move to insert Democrats as monitors is intimidation and
adding that Texas will not be intimidated, but the state
is making sure Harris County does not have a repeat
of that election day debacle of twenty twenty two when
several locations actually ran out of paper and none was
(23:56):
delivered to them ballot paper. It calls long waits and
delays in the results and some people actually didn't even
get to vote.
Speaker 27 (24:06):
And Sharah Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson's office has
confirmed to kt or H they will be sending monitors
here to Houston.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Harris County GOP chair Cindy Siegel says.
Speaker 28 (24:18):
The more eyes on the polls the better, especially in
light of what we saw two years ago.
Speaker 27 (24:25):
That's when an audit found multiple issues and violations.
Speaker 28 (24:29):
It ran out of paper at several of the polls,
there was an etequette staffing and actually twenty twenty was
the same way. It was poorly run.
Speaker 27 (24:37):
She's confident things will run better this time, but we
shall see. Jeff Biggs News Radio seven forty kat RH.

Speaker 29 (25:10):
It just happened in LA after the Dodgers won. Now
that wasn't political, but the potential is there in this nation,
and I think when we look at what the left's
track record is, I'd say it's a very good chance.
Speaker 9 (25:21):
Former FBI Special Agent Jeff Jonathan Gilliam he told KTRH
extreme political rhetoric from the left and then the concerns
about elections security from both sides are really the cause
of all of this tension. Stock futures up slightly and
overnight trading ahead of the polls opening now Wall Street
closed down across all three indices on Monday, the Dow
(25:43):
loss two hundred and fifty seven points. Marcus on Edge
over when we will finally learn who the winner is.
Speaker 6 (25:52):
A quick resolution today to this election would be most
pleasing to Wall Street, and conversely, taking days or weeks
to find out results could be costly. KTRH moneyman Pat
Shin remembers the year two thousand when a more than
one month delay in the presidential election outcome resulted in
the Nasdaq dropping twenty four percent.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
The bottom line.
Speaker 30 (26:13):
Once the winner is known, and once we have a
decisive winner, I think the market will do just fine.
So my advice don't make any trade surrounded in the election.

Speaker 9 (26:28):
Among the races we're going to be watching closely denied
a South Texas congressional race between Mayra Flores and the
incumbent Democrat Vicenta Gonzales. It's a rematch from twenty twenty
two when Flores lost her seat as Vicina Gonzales changed
his districts. Remember, Republicans only have a slim majority in
the US House. There are two races to replace the
(26:49):
late Shila Jackson Lee in the eighteenth Congressional district. Actually
one of them a special election to fill out the
rest of this current term until January, and then the
general election for the next two year term starting in January.
Rice's political science professor Mark Jones says that Jackson Lee's daughter,
Erica Lee Carter, is likely or expected to win this
(27:12):
special election.
Speaker 31 (27:15):
There are two candidates who are Republicans and one Democrat.
If there have been two Democrats, then it quite possibly
could have gone to a runoff. But because Erica Lee
Carter is the only Democrat, she is going to clear
fifty percent without much difficulty.
Speaker 9 (27:28):
In the general election though for the next two years,
former Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner expected to defeat the Republican
Lana Santoci. Jackson Lee died in July from pancreatic cancer.
We'll have complete election I coverage tonight starting at seven
here on KTRH, KGERH dot com and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
This might be the most famous squirrel since Secret Squirrel.
His name was Peanuts as it was because he's no
longer with us. He and the raccoon that were seized
from a home in New York that was raided by
state officials.
Speaker 9 (28:34):
Well, the guy saved that little baby squirrel. Uh huh,
saw the mother being killed. Yeah, save the baby squirrel.
Raised it for seven years, became sort of an internet sensation, yep.
And then the government decided, on a complaint from somebody
online to raid his house and seize the squirrel and
(28:55):
kill it.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
He did not have the proper licensing.
Speaker 7 (28:58):
I know, because govern must license everything.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
Yes, they much by the way. Mark Longo is the
founder of the Peanuts Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary. I'll tell
you how he's made a lot of money in just
a second. That may have something to do with why
the house was ready to But here he is on
TMZ explaining what New York did to him.
Speaker 32 (29:19):
Not only tears my family apart, but Peanut was the
cornerstone of our nonprofit animal rescue and ten to twelve
dec officers raided my house as if I was a
drug dealer.
Speaker 33 (29:31):
I was sat outside my house for five hours. I
had to get a police escort to my bathroom. I
wasn't even allowed to feed my rescue horses breakfast or lunch.
I was sitting set there like a criminal. After they
interrogated my wife to check out her immigration status, then
(29:51):
proceeded to ask me if I had cameras in my house.
Then proceeded to go through every cabinet, nook and cranny
of my house for a squirrel in a raccoon.
Speaker 34 (29:59):
They got us warrant, they got a search warrant, four
departments and a judge signed off on a search ForwArt
for a squirrel in a raccoon.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
Which sounds crazy, So maybe there is something else involved
in this. It would seem that mister Longo and his
wife also have an account on OnlyFans. You've heard of OnlyFans?
Speaker 24 (30:23):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (30:23):
Yes, it's a website. It's a I guess, for lack
of a better way to describe it, it's a fetish website.
I mean, it could be as innocent as you taking
pictures of your feet and posting an on only fans,
and then people with a foot fetish look up your feet,
and you make money from it. They made so much money.
But whatever it is, I have no idea what they've
posted on only fans. But they made so much money
(30:45):
from it that they paid cash for their eight hundred
thousand dollars home and property that they have the sanctuary on. Now,
you're doing good things with the money. But is this
why the state of New York decided to raid them?
They never said it was. They said they were there
for the squirrel and the raccoon, which were both euthanized.
(31:06):
By the way, both euthanized.
Speaker 7 (31:09):
They said they had to kill them in order to
check them for rabies.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
Yes, because evidently one of the officials in the raid
got bit by the squirrel. Who could have predicted that
would happen. You're trying to wrangle it took them hours
to wrangle the squirrel, and then the official got bit
and therefore, well, we have to test for rabies now unreal.
But that's what happens with big government, and Democrats love
that big government getting involved in every aspect of your life.
(31:34):
Five point forty one time for traffic and weather together.
They didn't know anything about only fans, of course, not
skuy Mike. What would you have that anybody would want
to see on only fans? Yeah, I have a friend
that told me about it. Let's go to two ninety
imbound at Graham Parkway. iHeartRadio listeners were the first to
know about this accident.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
Two left planes at Graham Parkway. It's kind of been
a bad spot too. Ty run with the first banana

KTRH Generator Supercenter twenty four hour Weather Center. If we've
got some rainy conditions, I don't know that everybody sees
the rain though, Terry, because it looks like a lot
of it's hitting north of Houston.
Speaker 18 (32:46):
Yeah, so far most of the wet weather has been
to the north and west of us, but that line
of showers and some thunder will be making its way
across the metro area. It looks a little bit sloppy
for our morning community, especially as we get further into
the morning drive. Let's see, right now, the heaviest rain
(33:06):
still is way back to the west near Magnolia, to
the west of Katie down toward El Campo.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
So yeah, we're.
Speaker 18 (33:14):
Pretty quiet overall, though we'll probably have some mist out
there in spots right now during in the downtown area.
So an eighty percent chance of showers and storms today, folks.
Speaker 7 (33:25):
The bulk of that will be this morning.
Speaker 18 (33:27):
We still may see a few lingering showers into the
early part of the afternoon. Big change for us is
how much cooler today it's going to be. Our temperatures
are in the seventies. Doesn't last long, though, because we'll
warm back up tomorrow. Tomorrow's dry near eighty the high
and Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Right now, I'm thinking a
(33:48):
thirty percent chance of summer in each day, Temperatures in
the low to mid eighties Thursday and Friday. But then
a real cold front, one that has some cooler weather
with it, like really cooler weather. It's like it'll head
our way by the weekend. We may see high Saturday
low to mid seventies.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
Okay, and speaking of which, we'd dropped three degrees in
the last hour seventy five. Now at your official severe

is here. Get out there and vote, no excuses. We
need every vote out there, and we need every vote
to count, and we need you to do what you
(34:40):
need to do. Coming up here in just a moment.
The specter of violence post election, regardless of who gets elected,
although I would anticipate there would be more acting out,
especially in a violent way, if President Trump is elected,
then Paris is elected. We'll talk to FBI Special Agent
and Navy Seal Jonathan Gilliam about this. Next first though,
(35:03):
traffic and weather together as we check out the drive
once again with sky Mike, all right, pitch.
Speaker 5 (35:07):

Speaker 3 (36:49):
Five fifty two now here in Houston's morning news. So
will there be violence post election?
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Are we?
Speaker 3 (36:54):
How concerned are we? How prepared are we to handle it?
If we do? I think it depends. I hate to
say this, but I think it depends very much on
who's generating the violence. As far as how we handle it.
We've seen in the past how we handle violence from
the left. We just basically arrest them and let them
back out again, no charges. FBI Special Agent and Navy
(37:15):
Seal Jonathan Gilliam joins us. Welcome to the show. What
do you expecting, Jonathan, as a result of this election.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
Well, I think.
Speaker 29 (37:24):
It's as you were just pointing out, we know what
could happen if if the left wins, as Harris wins.
What type of violence to expect. I mean, we've seen
this before when when the left gets their way, they react,
overreact everything that the right does, and they project things
(37:45):
onto the right that they typically do. And I think
that every all the rhetorics that they've been using over
the past month, and it's gotten worse over the past
week few weeks, is that is what they'll do, is
they could potentially do so.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
I think if they lose, that.
Speaker 29 (38:06):
Is where the potential lies for them to carry out
what they accused the right of potentially doing so. I
think there's a possibility for in some of the extreme
places for.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
Riots to break out.
Speaker 29 (38:21):
I know when the last election happened presidential election happened
four years ago, there was an article out and I
believe it was The New Yorker where the Democrat Machine,
many from the Democrat machine, we're talking about how they
could plan a rally, a protest, or a party anywhere
(38:43):
in the nation within two hours. And so they had
planned on protesting Trump if he won last time, and
then they turned that into a party in Philadelphia and
had this big party in the street. So the potential
wise there for violence post election. But I'll even go
(39:04):
a little further to say that if the polls start
looking bad and they don't have the mail in ballots
that they did last time, you could start to see
some violence happen before the polls even shut if it's
on the left. As far as the right guys goes,
I just don't I don't see the violence happening particularly
(39:27):
anywhere in any any particular location, because you just don't
typically have that organization from the right that you do
you see on the left, which is completely on the
top down with big money funders and donors, politicians that
back them.
Speaker 9 (39:44):
And politicians that we I mean, they've already got they've
got they've got the anarchists, and they've got Antifa, and
they've got the vestiges what's left of b l M.
And you know, they've already done their dry runs. Or
I wouldn't call them dry runs because maybe look at all,
look at all the damage it was caused. I mean,
the whole George Floyd riots and things. But I'm wondering,
(40:05):
we keep seeding everyone's the narratives, so to speak, everyone's
prepared for everyone. Why do we just accept that there
could be violence, there will be violence. Why do we
just accept that we have to have months of election voting,
we have to have weeks and weeks of counting. We
can't trust our pulls. Why is it that the people
(40:25):
are just so inured to this because they keep telling us, well,
this could happen, and this could happen, and why do
we the people accept the fact that this is how
our government is run?
Speaker 29 (40:37):
Well, because that's the way it is in an aristocracy.
Speaker 2 (40:40):
You know, you have these rich majority.
Speaker 29 (40:44):
Of people, let's be honest, majority of people that are
in there that are running this nation come from wealthy families.
Most of them were never in the military, and so
they have or law enforcement or any other service where
they had to actually be broken down and then build
back up, so they understand how command and control works,
(41:09):
how true leadership works, and how you're a leader at
any level that you're at. So you take that off
the board, and what you have is a group of
people who have education, but they have no experience. And
so what they do when they come in is they
become politicians and they spout off a lot of word salads,
(41:31):
but they really have no plan. I think you can
see by what you just said. Overall, every year there's
no plan. Every four years, there's no plan, every two years,
there's no plan. Because that's not the way non operators work.
That's what the way politicians work.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
All right, Thank you, sir, appreciate it. That is a

That was Donald Trump in Michigan late last night, the
last of his four rallies held before thousands of supporters
at each location. Yesterday, he also picked up the endorsement
by the way of pod caster Joe Rogan.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
I think this is the last election. If Trump doesn't win,
this is the last election. I think you're right.
Speaker 9 (44:08):
That was Rogan hosting doing an interview with Elon Musk.
Now that three hour interview, by the way, has gotten

Speaker 9 (44:36):
There was a switch Harris stop using Donald Trump's name,
that she kept up her anti Trump rhetoric. The final

Nevada and North Carolina. It is now six to oh three.

Speaker 37 (45:00):
Early voting went smoothly in Harris County, but some adjustments
still had to be made.
Speaker 10 (45:05):
There are things that we have to work out. We
have to switch out, you know, some machines or things
of that nature.
Speaker 37 (45:09):
County Clerk Tanisha Hudspeth with our TV partner Channel two,
Republican election worker Felicia Craven says the process has been
much smoother without unelected administrator in charge.
Speaker 12 (45:18):

Speaker 9 (45:46):
We've told you it could take days to find out
the actual winner of the vote. Why Doctor Ross Hunt
of Hunt Research As nationally is up in the air
here in Texas. Tho he believes will see results quickly.
Speaker 12 (46:00):
We'll see elected the early row results, the leak at
the county level im fairly early, and the election day
results released in several tranches. I think that with the
patterns of voting we're seeing here in Texas, he could
have very clear results for the Texas though, even as
early as the release of the state wife book.
Speaker 9 (46:15):
Yeah, he says, though some local and certainly statewide races
could take longer than we want. Final polls in the
Texas Senate race between Ted Cruz and Colin Allred show
Cruise with as much as a four point lead over
the Democrat challenger.
Speaker 7 (46:28):
It's now six oh five.
Speaker 9 (46:30):
Following the money, about a billion dollars was spent in
the final week of the campaign alone, two hundred and
seventy two million of that in just the Trump Harris race.
Californians who've moved to Texas could be bringing their Democrat
politics with him. And how does that impact this election here?
Speaker 27 (46:47):
And Cherral, will these new Texas Democrats start a turn
to blue?
Speaker 13 (46:52):
I certainly have heard the fear over the years, but
the data would not suggest that that is true.
Speaker 27 (46:58):
That's Chuck Devor with the Texas Public Policy Foundation.
Speaker 13 (47:02):
The information that we've gathered people who move here from
liberal states generally are the conservatives who can't take it anymore,
and that's why they're moving to Texas. They're moving here
for freedom and opportunity.
Speaker 27 (47:12):
We'll find out just tal red Texas really is after

here on Houston's Morning News, Texas leads the nation and
electricity price increases. Did you know that over the past
three years? Thank you Joe Biden. According to a New
Energy Alliance survey, it blames the economy, you know, Bidenomics.
Now Harris's claim too, increasing subsidies for a solar and
(48:49):
wind power. Yeah, Harris casts a deciding vote on that.
Also the factor uh energy fellow ed Hers says this

Speaker 3 (49:57):
Strange story this morning out of Nashville, where evidently there
was a plot to attack the electric grid on election
Day by a guy who had been known to the
FBI for quite some time. He evidently was planning to
use C four and other explosives that he planned to
purchase from these undercover FBI agents. He also purchased black powder,
(50:23):
He was going to build pipe bombs, and he was
going to load up a drone full of explosives. I
don't know if he actually had a drone at this
point or not. This has been going on for quite
some time, so this is not something they've just discovered
on election Day. They just decided to pick election day
as the time they were going to tell you about it,
which I find interesting. I also find it very interesting
(50:45):
that the FBI would like you to believe that this
guy is a devout white supremacist Well, here's what we
do know about him. He's twenty four years old. Supposedly
he is into New Age, the New Age movement in
praise to Nordic gods like you know, like the Vikings
(51:06):
used to do.
Speaker 7 (51:08):
Well. That just shouts white supremacy, doesn't it.
Speaker 2 (51:11):
That's what I mean.
Speaker 3 (51:12):
There is no connection near as I can find with
this guy in white supremacy. But this is coming from
Merrick Garland in the Department of Justice, who wants you
to believe that anybody who's interested in attacking the country
is a white supremacist and somebody who would support Donald Trump.
That's what That's what they That's the conclusion they would
like you to draw. That does not appear to be
(51:33):
the case.
Speaker 2 (51:34):
Six ' ten.
Speaker 3 (51:35):
Time for traffic and weather together. We're checking out the
drive once again. Here's guy Mike man Terry.
Speaker 5 (51:39):
You got chocolate in my peanut butter Your weather's messing
up my traffic. We got you outbound at Skinner all right.
First of all, Tyrone gave me that wreck at Grand Parkway.
Looks like we dealt with that coming in from Waller
and then outbound at Skinner.
Speaker 2 (51:51):
This is getting ugly.
Speaker 5 (51:52):
This is a wreck Mic from Magnolia with a big
banana sticker two right lines. Now they've spread it out
so it looks like we're bowling a split. It's outbound,
not inbound. Lookout from Barker, Cyprus. Uber Mike also joining
in this morning. I don't know why he's in Huffman,
but nineteen sixty at twenty one hundred is.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
A pretty bad spot to have wreck.
Speaker 5 (52:11):
We've got the rain starting to hit the North Freeway
southbound Conroe. You're about to hit the brakes now Woodland.
Same deal for all drivers coming in from Spring. Saw
the backups from Berkshire. You can actually it's kind of funny.
You can watch the slowdowns Terry and it really corresponds
with the radar. I've got the backups now from Katie
Pennoak Road into Eldridge Parkway and looks like about a
(52:34):
six to eight minute drag here even the West park
your big shots, you're slow around fourteen sixty four as usual.
At least you're not bumping into each other. We're going
to the hard work on east side at six twenty.
Get your hard hat ready. I'm Skymike on the Generator
Supercenter dot Com Traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (52:48):
From r katrahe Top Tax Defenders, twenty four hour Weather Center. Yeah,
we had all those dry weeks, Terry, and we just
can't make it.
Speaker 7 (52:55):
How we're paying for it?
Speaker 2 (52:56):
We are. We were making up for it in spades,
aren't we.
Speaker 18 (52:59):
It is east or famine here in southeast Texas. By
the way, did I just hear sky might say Pockway?
Speaker 38 (53:06):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (53:06):
I was doing that, you know, the Pepperidg's farm voice there.
Speaker 7 (53:10):
Oh Okay, you sounded so bust don't you.
Speaker 2 (53:12):
I don't know where I got that.
Speaker 7 (53:14):
Oh my, all right?
Speaker 18 (53:16):
So, yeah, the line of showers and some storms making
its way eastward, stretching from around the Woodlands and Spring
near Sugarland, Rosenberg and then southward. We're gonna get a
nice little drink here as that line moves on through,
and then things should quiet down. Now doesn't mean the
(53:37):
rain's all done, it's just quieter. There's an eighty percent
chance of showers and storms today, and the bulk of
that will be this morning, but even into the afternoon,
a few showers will pop up until we get some
dryer air to move in, and that'll take a little
bit of time. Temperatures today in the seventies anywhere from
the low to upper seventies tomorrow, no rain, sunshine near
(53:58):
eighty to high. We have a thirty percent chance of
showers and thunderstorms Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Now it's going
to stay in the load of mid eighties Thursday and Friday,
but then cool down another call front by the end
of the week, so load to mid seventies on Saturday.
Speaker 2 (54:14):
Jepit.
Speaker 3 (54:14):
You're right now seventy six at your official severe weather station,

Speaker 3 (54:28):
Just about six twenty hour time here in Houston's Morning News,
the federal government has sent election monitors. They are coming.
Whether or not they're ultimately going to be allowed into
the polls remains to be seen. Ken Paxton has decided
he's suing the federal government over them sending in the Feds.
So we'll have more and that we'll talk to Cindy
Siegal Harri's County Gpachair about all this and more in
(54:50):
just a moment. First though, traffic and weather togethers we
check out that drive once again with Skymike, all right.
Speaker 5 (54:55):
Clear skinner road. That time, boy, the ninjas worked fast
on that. The rest of your emergency responders outbound, I've
got all kinds of breaks.
Speaker 2 (55:03):
Now new problem.
Speaker 5 (55:04):
This is two ninety guestner westbound, this outbound nine inbound,
and of course rain's making things crazy all over the
northwest side. I'm SKYMIKEE on the Generator Supercenter dot Com

Speaker 3 (55:14):
From our KTRH top tax defenders twenty four hour weather center.
Speaker 2 (55:18):

Speaker 17 (56:18):
Your best ways are round Houston next on the ten
mine seven forty ktright.
Speaker 3 (56:26):
Well, there'll be people watching over this election. Certainly, question
is who's going to be doing it? Will be the state,
will be the Feds. Is it going to take a
lawsuit to keep the Feds out of polling locations? And
it could be a mess today. Cindy Sikle joins US
Harris County GPHR. Are you concerned about this thingt Cindy.
Speaker 39 (56:45):
These federal monitors, well, yeah, they've been here before. I
remember years ago when I first was an election judge,
they showed up and I'd been worn. They showed up
on my Paul and we're basically just you know, checking
to make sure we had Spanish speakers, Mandarin, Chinese, Vietnamese.
(57:09):
But you know, there's really no reason for it, and
this is just a ploy that was used by the
Democrat Party on County property yesterday to just gin up
the fears of their Democrats. And what's interesting is, people,
we need to remember it's been the Democrats controlling how
(57:31):
our elections are run, our voter registration, all that have.
They've been in control of it for the last five years,
since twenty eighteen. So this was just it's just a
political ploy when the Democrat Party has asked the DOJ
to come in. We've got state observers from the Secretary
(57:54):
of State. I talked to Christina Atkins who's works for
the Secretary of State yesterday. She's over in the elections.
They've got observers here that are in their going to
the various polls because they're very aware of what happened
in twenty two and we've got poll watchers as well
as our Republican election workers at the polls.
Speaker 9 (58:17):
Well, the question though, is Okay, you're watching and you
see an irregularity, and do you have the judges lined
up that are that are non partisaners supposed to be
in order to make things right? I mean, how many
people feel intimidated? How many people will not be allowed
to vote? I mean, how could this go wrong. There
(58:39):
are many ways it can go wrong, right.
Speaker 39 (58:41):
Yeah, Sharah. I mean we've seen how in twenty two
how badly it was run. I do think that we've
seen over the last year under the county clerk Tanisha Hutsbath,
who had actually work for Stan Standart and Beverly Kaufman,
who were Republican county clerks, for run a more smooth election.
(59:04):
But we have a team of attorneys here.
Speaker 2 (59:07):
Up at our headquarters.
Speaker 39 (59:08):
Additionally, we're working our election attorney is also working for
the RNC Senator Cruz. There's a whole team attorneys down
town that are ready to take action if needed. And
of course the Attorney General Packston is to Now that said,
we know the first level in district court here is
(59:32):
a bunch of Democrat judges. So anything that we would do,
any legal action, would ultimately and quickly have to be appealed.
And we've been through this process. We went through it
in twenty two during the primary as well as a
general election and also the May election that year. We
had to take legal action. And you know the thing
(59:55):
about the elections is that in general, the Supreme Court,
the appellate courts will look at it immediately because of
you know, because it is the election.
Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
Yeah, I hate to ask you to give a one
word anc here, Cindy, but but I will anyway, and
that is, do you think that this election is going
to be fair here in Aris County? Do you have
confidence and the results that we're going to get? Yes
or no?
Speaker 39 (01:00:22):
You're asking a CPA who is never a betting girl.
Speaker 2 (01:00:26):
I don't bet.
Speaker 39 (01:00:27):
Unless I'm ninety nine point nine to nine percent sure.
Do I think the Democrats will try something? And this
is not a reflection upon the county clerk. Yes, whether
it's here in Harris County. We've heard rumblings across the state.
I heard I think it was Dallas County. They were
pulling some of the shenanigans they did here in Townshire County.
(01:00:50):
But yeah, but that's why we have pole watchers. We
have more pole watchers placed than we ever have before.
We've got great election workers, you know, judges there and
up here at headquarters. We've been here since five point
thirty this morning. We have over a dozen experienced election
(01:01:12):
workers where our people out in the field can call
if they've got something that they see. Okay, I've got
the constables on those speed guyals So and as well
as Tadisha Hutsbo.
Speaker 2 (01:01:25):
So we're doing.
Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
Everything, plaus you got everybody ready to go just in case.
All right, thank you, Cindy, appreciate it. Har'skinding to you
a peachair. That's Cindy Siegel at six twenty seven. Time
to take a look at your money. Here's Cortney Donahoe.
Speaker 21 (01:01:37):
Good morning, Jimmy. Election day finally here in the markets

Speaker 2 (01:02:31):
All right, well the second has begun.
Speaker 5 (01:02:33):
On two ninety we had three rex one at Graham Parkway,
one at Skinner Guestner. Wow, fast working there to westbound.
That's gone Katie Freeway. Inbound, that's just a stall at
Grand Parkway. But the rain's making things crazy. Let's check
two eighty.
Speaker 8 (01:02:46):

Speaker 9 (01:03:23):
Here's Sheriff Fryar and it is now six thirty two
on news Radio seven forty kt Orage and our top
story this hour. Election day is finally here. Polls have
already opened on the East Coast. Donald Trump confident of
a return to the White House.
Speaker 36 (01:03:38):
We stand on the brink of rescuing our country. I
want to take a moment to thank the millions of
hard working men and women who are the heart and
soul of this the greatest movement cover all.
Speaker 9 (01:03:50):
Time, Trump thanking supporters during his final rally of the
campaign last night in battleground Michigan. As opposed to the
staged door knocking, we watch Kamala Harris do in Pennsylvania.
Speaker 20 (01:04:07):
Oh you want to say a doorknock yet?
Speaker 9 (01:04:10):
Yeah, telling her staffers, I want a door knock here.
In Texas, polls will open in just a few minutes
seven am. Fifty percent of those registered in this state
have already voted. We'll see if the other turn out.
Harris County Republicans responding to the local Democrats after they
sought the DOJ to come in and monitor our election polls,
(01:04:33):
our actual poll watchers, because they claim it's voter suppression.
PRECINC three Commissioner Tom Ramsey says it makes no sense
because a Democrat is already running the election here, how
are they suppressing the vote?
Speaker 38 (01:04:50):
It's Tanisha Hospitt's running the election according to the rules
and regulations set forth by the Secretary of State, And
it looks like to me that's the Fed's coming in,
trying to create confusion and trying to make a case
out of something that there's nothing there.
Speaker 9 (01:05:05):
Yeah, the Harris County cleric is Tanisha Hutsmith, That's who
Ramsey was referring to. Now Texas suing the Biden Harris
regime over this. They call this intimidation of legitimate voters
while they say they're trying to ensure that there won't
be voter suppression. What the Democrat calls for the DOJ
to meddle in our elections. Harris County GOP chair Cindy
(01:05:28):
Singles Siegel says she's pretty glad that Texas Secretary of
State Jane Nelson has sending in her own monitors because
technically she under law monitors our elections.
Speaker 28 (01:05:42):
I'm glad we have the Secretary of State observers there.
The Harris Country Republican Party are candidates. There's a lot
of pull watchers that are out. The more eyes, the
more likely that we are to ensure that we have
a fair and secure.
Speaker 9 (01:05:55):
Election, because it wasn't in twenty twenty two, and ought
to proves it, found multiple issues violations, and it led
to the county clerk being put back in charge of
elections here rather than the Demopocrat appointed election supervisor.
Speaker 7 (01:06:09):
It is now six thirty five.
Speaker 9 (01:06:11):
Fencing up around the White House and the Capitol Building
in DC over concerns about violence. Also fencing at the
Convention Center in Palm Beach, Florida, where Donald Trump will
host his election night party later this evening. Months of
divisive politics that included two assassination attempts, most Americans, well,
they're bracing anyway for some sort of violence after tonight.
Speaker 14 (01:06:33):
According to a new poll, sixty two percent of Americans
are expecting violence.
Speaker 29 (01:06:37):
I've never seen such tension at a voting station ever
in my life. And I talked to other people. They
said the same thing. People weren't talking, they weren't smiling.
Speaker 14 (01:06:46):
Former FBI agent Jonathan Gillum told KTRH he thinks this
will probably be the new norm in the United States.
Speaker 29 (01:06:52):
It will be like this and get worse unless they
just go back to paper ballots and make it simple
and hand count these ballots.
Speaker 14 (01:07:00):
Gilian says that having more secure elections would go a
long way towards calming political tensions. Ethan Buchannan News Radio

Speaker 9 (01:07:07):
It was a Downdale Wall Street yesterday, including a two
hundred and fifty seven point loss on the Dow Wall
Street futures a little bit up overnight in trade. We
may not know who won the vote for days. They
prepared us to think that. KGH money man Pat Sin says,
at least for now, financial markets aren't really concerned about who.
Speaker 2 (01:07:27):
Wins the bottom line.
Speaker 30 (01:07:30):
Once the winner is known, and once we have a
decisive winner, I think the market will do just fine.
So my advice don't make any trade surrounded in the election.
Speaker 9 (01:07:41):
Yeah, it took more than a month in the two
thousand election before we knew who the president was and
it sent the Nasdaq down a whopping twenty four percent.
Speaker 7 (01:07:49):
Six thirty six is our time.
Speaker 9 (01:07:51):
Texas races on our radar the congressional race between Mayra Flores,

Speaker 3 (01:08:54):
I don't hear the fat ladies thinking is it that
over yet? Six thirty eight? Is that time here in
Houston's boring news? But there are some out there who
think it will be over early, that we will see
some trends when the election results come in and.
Speaker 9 (01:09:07):
The probability of that is fifty to fifty early or not. Okay,
but that's interesting.
Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
Gone, yeah, here's giving a Larry, here's what do you
have to say about it?
Speaker 40 (01:09:18):
Binary out come going to be decided by three or
four in the morning, that's my guest, Like everybody else
is guessing. I'm in the camp that says the swing
states all go to one side.
Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
Or the other. I don't trust polling.
Speaker 40 (01:09:29):
Anymore, you know, I've even looked at private polling data.
The problem I've learned just as an investor and investing
in some of this stuff, is that the actual panels
that are done either online or by cell phone are
very small. So if you're if you're polling a county
and only getting twelve hundred people, your margin for error
(01:09:51):
is over four percent, and no candidates more than two
percent ahead, it's useless data. So my gut tells me
people have decided You've got really a different way to
look at these two candidates in terms of the direction
they want to take the country on so many different issues.
And I think you're going to find out tomorrow sometime,
(01:10:11):
maybe between one and three in the morning, it's all
one side or the other. And I really believe that
to be the case. So pollsters, they got to find
a new career.
Speaker 3 (01:10:21):
Call me, I might give you a job somewhere, Okay.
So they're all going to go one side or the other,
as in the battleground states. Other words, one candidate's just
going to pick them all off. And if you start
to see that trend early, you know, they start calling
a couple of those states early and they're going for
one candidate and that same candidate, then you can make
that assumption that there's going to be more of a
(01:10:45):
lopsided win than a lot of the so called experts. Thing.
Speaker 9 (01:10:48):
Well, you know, you've got some solid blue states and
now a lot of electoral votes Illinois, California, and New York.
But swing states are one thing. But there's also those
battleground states. And you know there's a distinction between those
two and the blue wall, and that would be Michigan
and Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. They're not swing states or battleground states, right, So,
(01:11:11):
and there's a lot of electoral votes there. There are,
So I don't know, it's pretty scary.
Speaker 3 (01:11:17):
It is scary. I feel confident for some reason. I
don't know why. Maybe my confidence is misplaced, but I
do feel for some reason confident. Six forty. Time for
traffic and weather together. Get out and vote, by the way,
if you haven't done it yet, right, sky Mike, that's
what I plan on doing. I wasn't able to do
nothing like a nice glitch to start things out.
Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
Let's see if I can get the tip line right
Grant Parkway. What's that morning, skyline?
Speaker 8 (01:11:40):
Play road in five twenty nine, you got an overturned
big rig about creat and flight at the time and
emergency vehicles and nas lamb fight.
Speaker 5 (01:11:49):
All right, good burbage there, this is a banana sticker
and we've got northbound big problem Grand Parkway West.
Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
We're going to assume that at the fifteen episode of Mike.
Speaker 35 (01:11:58):
Mike coming in Huhne nine and two ninety.
Speaker 8 (01:12:02):
Right now, everything's traveling at.
Speaker 5 (01:12:04):
Pos it's are you've cleared Grand Parkway on two ninety.
That's good, rob Katie, Dude.
Speaker 8 (01:12:09):
Good morning, sky Mike. Pulling onto West park right in Mason,
and we are crawling along at about twenty miles an hour.
Everyone's got their hazards on, so it's gonna be a
long drive.
Speaker 5 (01:12:18):
In right everything to the west, to the northwest, especially
around two ninety and it in Southwest Freeway starting to
get pretty scoot. Step two, we'll check the middle of
town at the fifty break and also get another zoom up.
Speaker 2 (01:12:31):
That Grand Parkway deal looks pretty ugly.
Speaker 5 (01:12:33):
Skymike on the Classic Buick GMC Traffic Center from r
KTRH generator of super cent or twenty four hour whether
Center Terry is here.
Speaker 3 (01:12:40):
I think the current weather it takes president over anything
going on in the tropics right now, don't you.
Speaker 18 (01:12:45):
I would say so yes, just simply because what's happening
in the tropics is not going to have any impact
on the continentally United States until sometime over the weekend maybe,
So this line of showers and thunderstorms that's making its
way through Houston is going to have a big impact
on our morning drive. Obviously we're not seeing any severe weather,
(01:13:07):
but what we are getting is some very heavy rain.
With some of these storms. You might get some gusty
winds at times as well. The wet weather stretching from
around Kingwood approaching downtown Houston, over toward Rosenberg and southward,
and it's moving eastwards, so it'll be out of here
in a couple of hours, but that doesn't mean the
rain's all done with for the day.
Speaker 7 (01:13:28):
It'll take a little while before.
Speaker 18 (01:13:29):
The drier air gets to the point that we're actually dry,
which will probably be late in the afternoon. Big drop
in temperature today, Temperatures in the seventies this afternoon. Tomorrow,
blue Sky's no rain near eighty the high. We have
a thirty percent chance of more rain Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Thursday and Friday and the load to mid eighties Saturday
gets cool. Load to mid seventy.
Speaker 3 (01:13:51):

It's Houston's Morning News, brought to you, buying you Southway.
Speaker 3 (01:14:04):
Those solutions just about six to fifty our time. Here
in Houston's Point News. We've got the timeline right around
the corner, and we've got Van Jones who is worried
about Pennsylvania. He's worried that Kamala decided to end her
appearance in Pennsylvania with basically a celebrity rally because she
can't draw a crowd. She has to have celebrities there
in order to be able to get a crowd. And
(01:14:25):
he doesn't think that celebrities relate to everyday people any
more than Kamala is.
Speaker 9 (01:14:29):
Right now, would you say that she was running pro
Israel campaign ads in Pennsylvania at the same time running
pro Gaza pro Palestinian ads in Michigan.
Speaker 7 (01:14:40):
Yeah, simultaneous.
Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
They don't think that people can figure that out. I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:14:47):
It's yeah, that shows you how gulible they think most
Americans are. And I guess we'll find out today.
Speaker 7 (01:14:53):
We don't know where she stands, now, do it.
Speaker 3 (01:14:55):
We'll just we'll just find out today, maybe how guldible
Americans really are. Traffic and whether to get Let's get
you caught up on the drive. Here is sky Mike got.

Wake up campus since Election Day six fifty two is
our time here. On Houston's Morning News, Van Jones, well
known Democratic operative, worried nervous about Pennsylvania, and Jesse Waters
reacts to it.
Speaker 41 (01:16:51):
How me, people understand work and people sometimes have to choose.
Am I going to go to the big cool concert
this week and pay for babysitting for that? Or am
I going to try to figure out a way to
get to the polls. I don't like these big star
seted events, in fact, probably helped us lose last time.
I don't want people going to concerts. I want people
knocking on doors. I want people out there fighting.
Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
For this thing.
Speaker 41 (01:17:10):
I'm just nervous, nervous, nervous.
Speaker 42 (01:17:13):
Jessica keeps talking about all this door knocking. Well, it's
not working because the Democrat machine in Pennsylvania has gone
could put. The early vote is way down for Democrats,
female votes down, urban votes down, and the rural vote
is way up. So you can knock on as many
doors as you want. The Republicans have sliced the early
vote lead in half.
Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
And that's why they're terrified.
Speaker 42 (01:17:35):
You talk about these late breakers or going to Kamala Harris,
what survey is that.
Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
I haven't seen that survey.
Speaker 42 (01:17:41):
The Democrats keep talking about this mysterious survey.
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
Well, no one's seen.
Speaker 42 (01:17:47):
Anything like that, because if it's actually happening, it would
show up in the early vote and across the board
in every single battleground.
Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
The Republicans are.
Speaker 43 (01:17:57):
Either winning the early vote because or they've actually just
destroyed day potentially, you think it's cannibalized, but if you
look at the data, it's low propensity voters that they're
turning out, and Republicans always show.
Speaker 2 (01:18:11):
Up on election day.
Speaker 42 (01:18:12):
So with the Democrats, greg are deciding to do or
relying on. They are now relying on this avalanche of
enthusiasm on election day that has never happened before for Democrats.
Democrats never produce huge avalanches of voter turnout on election day.
Speaker 2 (01:18:29):
They have to have that with Black Americans, Hispanic Americans.
Speaker 42 (01:18:34):
If there's that type of enthusiasm, why isn't it showing
up in the early vote.
Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
It's a great question, because there's no.
Speaker 9 (01:18:41):
Enthusiasm we'll see, but they always produce the avalanche of ballots.
Speaker 3 (01:18:46):
Yes, they do that avalanche of ballots. Yeah, it's not
how people voted, how many ballots you got. We can
obviously have to bring that home, don't we. All Right

We've observed for years that Californias have a tendency to
bring politics with them when they move, So will that
impact the election.
Speaker 13 (01:25:22):
What's happening in Texas is that you continue to have
these urban core areas that are left wing, you continue
to have the rural areas that are deep red, and
then in the battleground is the suburbs.
Speaker 9 (01:25:35):
Chuck Devora with a Texas Public Policy Foundation, He says
Texas remains read despite the influx of all these democrats
and the youth. Of course, Mexico has been holding back
illegal aliens from croach encroaching on our southern border, but
after tonight expect another surge.
Speaker 14 (01:25:54):
Thousands of immigrants are already working their way north through Mexico.
Speaker 15 (01:25:58):

the only things standing in their way are Mexican troops,

Speaker 14 (01:26:06):
Todd Bensman with the Center for Immigration Study says, after

Speaker 15 (01:26:10):
There is a high likelihood that we will see massive

a little bit of its punge. Rafael expected to move
into the eastern Gulf of Mexico by Thursday, but how strong.
We don't know where it could go from there. Well,
we're trying to learn what we can. From Terry Smith
(01:26:57):
of the Weather Channel in just a few minutes. Thanks
to Biden Harris policy, Texas has the highest wholesale prices
for electricity over the past three years. That's a new
study from the Energy Alliance. It blames the Biden Harris regime, inflation,
other factors. According to uh Energy fellow at hers Too.
Speaker 16 (01:27:16):
Everybody else had a much lower fullsale electricity price because
of our great production of natural gas and how that
drove the price down.
Speaker 9 (01:27:25):
Members of the Texas legislature say they'll make energy a

Speaker 3 (01:28:21):
No, you know, getting the Joe Rogan endorsement is the
best day of Nold Trump's life. But I'm sure he
was a nice and made the bit of a surprise because,
after all, Joe Rogan doesn't do those types of things,
and he did in this particular case. Again, he if
you missed it during the newscast, shre played a little
clip of Trump's reaction. Here's a little longer version of
(01:28:44):
President Trump reacting.
Speaker 46 (01:28:45):
So somebody that's very very respected aspitt into his show
two weeks ago and I said, why not? And to me,
it's very big because he's, uh, the biggest there is
a guess in that world by far. Somebody said, the
biggest beyond anybody in a long time. And his name
(01:29:06):
is Joe Rogan and has never done this before. And
it just came over the wires that Joe Rogan just
endorsed me.
Speaker 35 (01:29:18):
Is that Jack?
Speaker 29 (01:29:20):
That is?
Speaker 12 (01:29:21):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:29:28):
Yeah, that was a big gut. I think what ended
up what convinced Joe Rogan evidently was Elon Musk, who
he has a tremendous amount of respect for. And he
was having a conversation with Elon Musk. This is an
interview he did with Elon Musk. Asked after the Trump interview.
He was asking Elon Musk about why he supports Trump,
like he was trying to think it through himself, and
(01:29:49):
Elon Musk had had said to him, I think that
if Trump is not elected, this is the last US
presidential election. And Rogan down and he said, I think
you're right, and I think that that's what did it
right there. This is this is this is an election
for our democracy. This is an election for the future
(01:30:11):
of the republic.
Speaker 9 (01:30:13):
A one party regime yep or the machine yep. It's
been running everything.
Speaker 3 (01:30:18):
Yep, versus the two party system. We need to get

let's do the best we can.

From our Katirah Tom tax Defenders twenty four hour weathers
in a time to check in with Terry smith Y. Up,
the heavier rain is moving through the metro now, and
how much longer do you think we're gonna see this rain?
In what happens after the rain is done?
Speaker 18 (01:31:53):
So this line of showers and storms is making steady
progress eastwards. So I think the heaviest of the rain
will be out of here in the next hour or so,
but the rain is not completely over with once this
line moves through. We're still going to see some scattered
showers behind this line of heavier storms. If you are
(01:32:15):
just heading out the door right now, obviously planned for
some wet roads and some slower than usual traffic because
of the rain. Eighty percent chance that you're going to
get wet at some point today, and between the clouds
and the rain, the temperatures aren't changing much over the
course of the day. We'll stay in the seventies for

Speaker 2 (01:35:47):

It all depends on which races you're most interested in.
Speaker 2 (01:35:51):
So for those of.
Speaker 4 (01:35:52):
Us who are interested in the national results of the
presidential election, those will begin to roll in as early
as six o'clock text time, as the polls close in
Georgia at seven pm Easter. For those of us with
our eyes on the Lone Star State, our polls will
close at seven o'clock tonight, and at that time the
results of the early vote will be released automatically in

some counties. Shortly thereafter around seven thirty or eight in
other counties, and that's when you'll see the result of

Yeah, So I'll passos results for that my oral race,
and I may lag a little bit behind, but because
the polls will not close until an hour later there, Okay,
thank you, that's right. Yeah, And so whether or not
you have to stay up, of course, depends on how
close the election is, and specifically, it depends on how close.
Speaker 2 (01:36:56):
The early vote is to the overall outcome.
Speaker 4 (01:36:58):
Now, in some states, like Texas, some races may actually
be decided as soon as the early book comes out.
So here in Texas, we've seen a very heavy turnout
in early voting for Republicans. Based on the primary history
of those who have voted, the vote is significantly more
Republican this year than it was in previous years, fourteen
percent more Republican than it was that it is democratic,
(01:37:21):
and that's a significant improvement over the last in our election.
So it is possible that President Trump and Senator Cruz
may perform so strongly in the early vote that it
would be difficult for Kamala Harris or Colin already to
come back on election day.
Speaker 2 (01:37:37):
Now.
Speaker 4 (01:37:37):
The same cannot be said for many of the swing
states that are most important to watch around the country.
In states like Pennsylvania, for instance, which is the top
of many people's minds today, the early vote is unlikely
to be exactly in aligned with the election day vote
based on how those states have historically voted.
Speaker 3 (01:37:56):
Okay, there are a lot of people that are rejecting
that the swing states are either going to go one
way or the other. In other words, there's not going
to be you know, he won three, she won four.
He won four, she won three. It's going to be
more of a we'll get we'll get some early signs,
especially out of Georgia. As far as what direction the
(01:38:17):
swing states are going to be going your thoughts on that,
I think.
Speaker 4 (01:38:21):
There's always a temptation to think there's going to be
a big way in one direction or another. You know,
all of us, especially those anyone who has a partisan
leaning who really wants President Trump to win or wants
Kama Harris to win. The tension just gets built up
day every day, and you want to have some kind
of resolution to that.
Speaker 2 (01:38:37):
That's dramatic.
Speaker 4 (01:38:39):
It is possible to have to sweep. But in all
of my analysis when I've seen in polling, there seems
to be a big difference between the sun Belt states
in the south, Georgia stretching across the Texas, North Carolina,
and the rost Belt states in the north.
Speaker 12 (01:38:53):
I think you can tell a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:38:55):
You know, there's a lot of similarity, for instance, between
Michigan and Wisconsin, so those states will tend to vote similarly.
Pennsylvania little bit more like them than like say Georgia
or North Carolina. But I think it's quite possible, and
I think it's likely that there's not going to be
a complete sweep across all of the key thing states tonight.
Speaker 9 (01:39:15):
What about all these states that you're saying, well, we're
taking in ballots, we're not getting things from overseas, or
it's going to take us several days. I mean, how
can that delay the entire country and our results.
Speaker 4 (01:39:27):
If the margins are close, it could certainly delay things,
and I think that it is. It is problematic. I
think just for transparency and for the confidence of people
in elections that results do take so long to tabulate.
You know, one of the things that in regardless of
one's politics one way or another, that President Trump his
called for of courses campaign is to have swifter counts,
(01:39:50):
and his argument is that when they do this in
other countries another countries is to be able to tabulate
the vote swiftly.
Speaker 2 (01:39:55):
As someone who.
Speaker 4 (01:39:56):
Sort of specializes in looking at the numbers, I think
that having a swift in it. Of course an accurate
account would be really really good for the country because
we usually see happen is that you have an early
result come in and everyone either loves it or hates it,
and then when it's reversed and there are allegations of
election fraud. And while auction fraud is a very serious
(01:40:18):
thing and does happen in elections unfortunately, I think in
many cases what makes people think it's happening is because
there's a reversal of an outcome over the course of
a period of time.
Speaker 3 (01:40:29):
Well, let's hope it's a lot quicker results than what
we've seen in the last election cycle. Doctor Hunt, thank
you for your time, sir, doctor Ross Hunt, founder of
the Hunt Research Center. It's seven twenty seven. It's time
for one last time for Corney Donahoe to take a
look at your money. She's moving on to other things.
We love you and we'll miss you, Corney.
Speaker 21 (01:40:46):
And I love you guys. You guys are absolutely wonderful
and such wonderful professionals, and behind the scenes want to
tell everybody they are just not only are they great broadcasters,
but they're just wonderful people. And I'm so grateful for
my ten years with you guys. Absolutely love you guys. Well,
let's take a look at the election. A lot riding
on at Industries with the most at state include big banks, healthcare,
electric vehicles, retail, and energy. Stock Index futures are up
(01:41:09):
slightly this morning, Dow futures rising forty points. I'm Courtney
Donaho Bloomberg Business on News Radio seven KTRH.
Speaker 2 (01:41:19):
Today is election day.
Speaker 20 (01:41:21):
You have to get out and vote.
Speaker 22 (01:41:23):
This is News Radio seven forty KTRH, Houston's election headquarters
from the John Moore Services Studios.
Speaker 3 (01:41:32):
It is seven thirty. You're on Houston's morning News. I'm
Jimmy Barren along with Sheriff Ryer. Among our top stories
in this half hour, the candidates have made their final arguments.
The state says we're going to monitor this election and
coming up at seven thirty eight. Did the pollsters finally
get the Trump vote right?
Speaker 2 (01:41:51):
This time?
Speaker 3 (01:41:53):
Details in the minutes ahead. You're in Houston's Morning News. First,
we're checking out that morning drive once again with Skymike.
Speaker 5 (01:41:58):
Ight two eighty eight North barn And after Highway six.
We still have this left lane blocked. By the time
you get over to five twenty one, you'll get caught
in that scoots too.
Speaker 2 (01:42:06):
So let's you know what I'd do. I would take
thirty five through albun.
Speaker 5 (01:42:09):
This is all happening northbound north Freeway Lueta. That's a
southbound accident and fifteen minute am I reading that right now?
Fifteen minute delay on the southbound coming down from the Woodlands.
I'm Skymike in the classic Buick GMC Traffic.
Speaker 3 (01:42:23):
Center from our KTRH generator's supercenter, twenty four hour weather center.
Scattered storms this morning, the rain tapers off this afternoon.
With I temperature right about eighty. We'll get you the
complete forecast. Terry Smith's at the weather Channel. We'll talk
to her in about eight minutes. Right now sixty eight
at your official severe weather station, News Radio seven forty
k TRH. It's time now for the News here's Sheriff Ryar.
Speaker 9 (01:42:45):
Seven thirty two now on news radio seven forty k
TRH our top story this hour. After years of campaigning,
it comes down to today, election day. Donald Trump announced
on his reelection action to secure the border and against Mexicano.
Speaker 46 (01:43:01):
I'm gonna put tariffs here. This is a big thing.
I'm putting tariffs in Mexico. If they don't straighten out
this drug it's their problem. They're coming through Mexico.
Speaker 9 (01:43:09):
Tariffs in order to stop the drug trade. Trump in
North Carolina. He also held a pair of rallies in Pennsylvania,
closing out the night. In Grand Rapids, Michigan actually closed
it out early this morning two am. Kamala Harris dropped
all mentions of Donald Trump during her final to campaign yesterday.
Speaker 25 (01:43:29):
America is ready for a fresh start, ready for a
new way forward where we see our fellow American.
Speaker 7 (01:43:40):
Not as an enemy but as a neighbor.
Speaker 9 (01:43:44):
Harris on the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Polls
opened today until seven pm across Texas OPASO on Mountain Time.
Don't forget fifty percent of those registered in the state
have already voted. However, federal election monitors. They're coming to
Harris County at theation of the Democrat leadership here, but
(01:44:05):
State Senator Paul Bettencour says it makes no sense because
Democrats already run the elections here, So what are they
coming to monitor?
Speaker 26 (01:44:14):
Having Democrat elected officials to call and say, we need
to stop voter suppression votes being stolen by whom is
Tonisha Huspith going to steal votes? She's in charge of
the elections Republicans, aren't Its hypocrisy?
Speaker 9 (01:44:29):
Yeah, Texas suing the Biden Harris administration over this because
under by law, the Secretary of State has told the
monitors they're not needed the state runs elections, calling the
DOJ's move to insert these Democrats as monitors intimidation and
adding Texas will not be intimidated. State of Texas also
(01:44:49):
making sure that there's not a repeat of the election
day debacle of twenty twenty two, when wrote locations in
Harris County actually ran out of ballot paper, causing long
waits result delays, among other things.
Speaker 27 (01:45:04):
And Sharah Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson's office has
confirmed to kt or H they will be sending monitors
here to Houston Harris County GOP chair Cindy Siegel says.
Speaker 28 (01:45:16):
The more eyes on the polls the better, especially in
light of what we saw two years ago.
Speaker 27 (01:45:23):
That's when an audit found multiple issues and violations.
Speaker 28 (01:45:27):
They ran out of paper at several of the polls,
there was an etdequette staffing, and actually twenty twenty was
the same way. It was poorly run.
Speaker 27 (01:45:35):
She's confident things will run better this time, but we
shall see. Jeff Biggs News Radio seven forty kt.
Speaker 9 (01:45:42):
ORH got a warning from the former Trump advisor Steve Bannon.
If Trump wins, get ready for more Democrat lawfair against him.
Speaker 45 (01:45:51):
Is not anywhere near what they will do. But that's
why tomorrow is so important. People that understand it is
still coming after President Trump. They have not really used
up on the gas at all.
Speaker 9 (01:46:03):
Bannon with kg Eurhius, Clay Travis, and Bucks Sex and
finally able to speak after the Biden DOJ sent him
to prison for four months, just let him out last
week for defying a subpoena from the House J six Committee.
Speaker 7 (01:46:18):
You know, the Democrat debacle.
Speaker 9 (01:46:21):
New polling from Scripts News IPSOS shows that sixty two
percent of Americans do expect some sort of political violence
after the polls close.
Speaker 29 (01:46:31):
It just happened in LA after the Dodgers won. Now
that wasn't political, But the potential is there in this nation,
and I think when we look at what the left
track record is, I'd say it's a very good chance.
Speaker 7 (01:46:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:46:42):
Former FBI special agent Jonathan Gillham told kg or H
blame the extreme political rhetoric from the left and of
course concerns about election security from both sides. Stock future
is up slightly in overnight trade. Wall Street closed down
across all three indices yesterday, and markets are on edge
really more now over when we will learn who the
(01:47:05):
winner is.
Speaker 6 (01:47:06):
A quick resolution today to this election would be most
pleasing to Wall Street, and conversely, taking days or weeks
to find out results could be costly. KTRH moneyman Pat
Shin remembers the year two thousand, when a more than
one month delay in the presidential election outcome resulted in
the Nasdaq dropping twenty four percent.
Speaker 30 (01:47:26):
The bottom line, Once the winner is known, and once
we have a decisive winner, I think the market will
do just fine. So my advice don't make any trade
surrounded in the election.
Speaker 6 (01:47:38):
Michael Shangloh news Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 9 (01:47:42):
It's now coming up in seven thirty seven. We're going
to be watching tonight that South Texas congressional race between
Mara Flora is an incumbent Democrat Vicente Gonzales. It's a
rematch of twenty twenty two when Flores lost his seat
and the Democrats flipped it back into the red the
blue column. And don't forget our live coverage of the
(01:48:02):
election results tonight start at seven pm here on kt
r H, KTRH dot com and the iHeartRadio app Rockets
Top the Knicks one on nine ninety seven. They host
the Spurs tomorrow night. I'm shereber Fryer on news Radio
seven forty k t RH.
Speaker 2 (01:48:19):
When we say what happens next, happens here just in
your guests is as good as ours. What happens next
Man on news Radio seven forty k t RH.
Speaker 3 (01:48:31):
That's kind of how I feel about the polls. If
it comes to being wrong, they get it right. Seven
thirty eight is our time here on Houston's Morning News.
I've seen some all sorts of pollsters talk about this election,
and I've only heard from one so far willing to
admit what I think we all really know, which is
(01:48:51):
when it comes to supporting Trump, the pollsters can't get
it right. They haven't figured out how to ask the
question in a way that the Trump supporter would be
willing to answer the question, so they constantly underestimate his
level of support. This is from News Nation. Here's pollster
Lee Carter pretty much admitting to all this.
Speaker 47 (01:49:13):
So there's two things that I'm looking at. Number One,
there's this sort of marginal shift towards Harris that we've
seen over the weekend. You see it in the Iowa poll,
We've seen in a couple of the other poles that
are suggesting in those sort of those swing states, she's
getting a.
Speaker 7 (01:49:27):
Little bit of an advantage.
Speaker 47 (01:49:28):
Now, is that because of Madison Square Garden? Is that
because she had such a great week or is there
something different going on? But then there's also all this
data that suggests that Trump.
Speaker 7 (01:49:37):
Always overperforms the polls.
Speaker 47 (01:49:38):
He did so in twenty twenty, he did so in
twenty six.
Speaker 2 (01:49:41):
Year old bolster. Have they fixed that problem? Right? They
keep saying we want to fix the problem. We're going
to try and fix the problem.
Speaker 1 (01:49:47):
I don't know if there's any way to fix the problem.
Speaker 47 (01:49:48):
But I don't think they have. And here's why. I
think one of the things that we know is that
in a poll which I'm going to quote to try
and sell why Poles aren't accurate, eight percent of Americans
say that they have lied to a family member about
who they're going to vote for, which if says people
just aren't comfortable talking about this or being honest about
who they're voting for, and in particular, Trump supporters have
(01:50:11):
a harder time because they've been called Nazis, fascists.
Speaker 2 (01:50:14):
And so on. Even in red areas.
Speaker 1 (01:50:18):
You don't think there'd be some shame on the part
of women to admit that they're voting for Harris.
Speaker 2 (01:50:22):
I don't know, I'm asking. So that's a big question, right.
Speaker 47 (01:50:24):
We saw the there was a commercial out there and
it showed these women going in to vote acting like
they were all in her husbands voting for Trump.
Speaker 7 (01:50:32):
They're like, oh, I'm going to be a.
Speaker 2 (01:50:33):
Secret So is that really a thing?
Speaker 47 (01:50:36):
I don't know that that's as much of a thing
as a silent Trump voter. I think it's been nine
years of shame towards Trump voters, and I'm not sure
that we've accurately triangulated. So the way that polsters are
trying to figure this out is by saying who did
you vote for last time and trying to figure out
what are the things that make somebody trumpy and then
applying it.
Speaker 19 (01:50:54):
To data today.
Speaker 47 (01:50:56):
The Trump voter of today is not necessarily a Trump
voter of twenty twenty is not necessarily the voter of
twenty sixteen. So I think we still could be missing something. Now,
could we also be missing that's silent.
Speaker 2 (01:51:06):
But it sounds like you think that's more likely.
Speaker 1 (01:51:09):
It's more likely, and that would seem to indicate that
in a toss up that Trump wins.
Speaker 2 (01:51:14):
Yeah. I would think that's what it seems to Can
we just make it simple?
Speaker 3 (01:51:19):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yes they do they undercount Trump voters, Yes,
if they figured out a way to ask the question,
or you can get a Trump supporter who doesn't want
you to know who they're voting for to actually answer
the question.
Speaker 2 (01:51:30):
No, they haven't.
Speaker 3 (01:51:33):
People are willing to lie or refuse to answer the
question about who they voted for if that's how they feel,
and they have consistently undercounted Trump support.
Speaker 7 (01:51:41):
None of your business.
Speaker 3 (01:51:44):
Typical response, right, yep, yep or click? I mean how
many how many of us even take a phone call
to answer questions about a survey? I mean, I.
Speaker 9 (01:51:55):
Don't know a whole lot of How much time do
you spend every day eliminating all these text come ons?
Speaker 3 (01:52:01):
Yeah, I've spent more time the last two weeks just
blocking phone numbers than I have anything else.
Speaker 7 (01:52:06):
Yeah, what's they get your information? They sell it to
the next guy.
Speaker 28 (01:52:09):
Hm.
Speaker 9 (01:52:09):
So you start getting these appeals for money, This is
just a political campaign. You can't turn those off? You know, Well,
lest they got your number, they got it.
Speaker 2 (01:52:18):
They're wasting their money on me, because.
Speaker 9 (01:52:20):
I just want to know just this mean they now,
in turn, will sell it to somebody else the next thing?
Speaker 28 (01:52:25):
I know?
Speaker 7 (01:52:25):
You know, will you never ceas? Do you have to
change your phone number?
Speaker 3 (01:52:28):
And so on and so on? Yeah, it goes on forever,
it seems all right. Time for traffic and whether it's
at the ghetto house, red, white and blue this morning.
Speaker 2 (01:52:35):
Good for you, socialist. I love it.
Speaker 3 (01:52:38):
You're wearing your American flag shirt today too. Oh yeah,
that's right America.
Speaker 5 (01:52:41):
Let's do two eighty eight northbound clear the record Highway six.
It's still a pretty good Scooch. It looks like at
least thirty eight minutes this way five twenty one is
looking okay. I like to drive through album and do
thirty five. Let's do Katie Freeway. WHOA look at those
backup still wet slow from Grand park Way all the

Speaker 35 (01:53:16):
Bryce Magnolia, Hey Mike, rain at cat and dogs that
don't run over?
Speaker 2 (01:53:21):
Do you see the pattern here?
Speaker 5 (01:53:22):
Terry Smith, it's I don't know what you do with
all those cats and dogs in the golf ball.
Speaker 2 (01:53:26):
I'm in the classic. You at GMC Traffic Center, you
have like a little animal shelter.
Speaker 3 (01:53:30):

shelter right now from the rain.
Speaker 7 (01:53:37):

Speaker 18 (01:53:41):
We speak, and there's some heavy rain with it that's
going to be getting out of here probably in the
next hour or so. Now, that doesn't mean we're dry
the rest of the day. We just won't see this
solid line of rain making its way through. The showers
will be more scattered into the afternoon and then tapering
off late today.
Speaker 7 (01:53:59):
Now, also, temperatures are.
Speaker 18 (01:54:01):

exit polling data will be any more accurate than the.
Speaker 7 (01:56:49):
Polar trusted I don't either.
Speaker 9 (01:56:52):
I mean they sway, They try to sway voters who
were voting later, still voting, haven't voted yet exactly, you know, right,
it's all just sway the vote.
Speaker 2 (01:57:02):
And they get criticized.
Speaker 7 (01:57:03):
Mind to a make up of your mind who you're
going to vote for, and go do it.
Speaker 3 (01:57:06):
They criticize, and they you know, you criticize the media
for doing it. They continue to do it. We'll see
if they wait a little later this time. They're not
supposed to do anything obviously, until the polls close. Poles
are all open up and down the East coast now,
Georgia's up up and open, Michigan is up and openings
so anywhere from the Midwest east. Polls are all open
and running and the votes are being tabulated. Haven't seen
(01:57:27):
anything yet on voter turnout courses really early, you know, to.
Speaker 9 (01:57:31):
Know, well, we had record eighty three million across the
country in the early.
Speaker 3 (01:57:34):
Voter death I'm talking about day of. We'll see what
happens day of the election, and if we get.

And we have a course overseas ballance of course we

to the military forces overseas.
Speaker 3 (01:57:46):
Here's a couple more polling experts with some reaction from
Larry Cudlow. That would be Mark Penn he's a Democrat bolster,
and Alex Castellano, he's a Republican bolster. Let's see what
they're hanging on. Let's see what they're thinking about that.
Let me find this every year, click, click, click, Is
that the.
Speaker 2 (01:58:02):
One I want?
Speaker 35 (01:58:03):
Here?
Speaker 2 (01:58:03):
It is? Here we go? Which side do you want
to be this evening? Looking at what you're looking at?
Speaker 48 (01:58:10):
Well, I'd rather be trumped this evening for the simple
reason that there are lots and lots of polls that
show a dead even The only fact we know is
that the Republicans have done a lot better in the
mail in and early voting than they ever have.
Speaker 44 (01:58:24):
I think the posters are getting this wrong. What I
think they're missing is a massive shift in voter registration
underneath all of this. Thirty one states have voter registration
by party, thirty of them in the past four years
have seen movement toward Republicans.
Speaker 49 (01:58:41):
So dig indept, it just seems like Democrats are facing
a massive turnout deficit in each of the battleground states. Meanwhile,
President Trump and Republicans are outperforming elections passed in absentee
balloting and early votes cast, and there's a decline in
urban voter turnout face Democrats. Former Obama advisor Jim Messina
(01:59:03):
and one of the Sunday talk shows yesterday, he called
the early vote numbers a little scary, said that Yesterday
also reports that early Black voting coming in much slower
than twenty twenty, especially in places like Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit, Milwaukee,
to name a few. One other point polsters might be
missing is that Donald Trump's position nationally and NH battlegrounds
(01:59:26):
Day is significantly better today than it was four years ago.
Tony Fabrizio, miss Trump's top polster, shows that nationwide, mister
Trump has improved almost eight points, and then it runs
down two and a half better in Arizona, nearly three
in Georgia, nearly eight in Michigan, four and a half
in Nevada, over five in Pennsylvania, and six and a
(01:59:49):
half in Wisconsin. Then again they pay to play betting
market Polymarket shows Trump ahead fifty eight to forty two.
Speaker 2 (01:59:57):
Now I wonder if.
Speaker 49 (01:59:58):
These crackerjack polsters understand how mister Trump has widened his
working class coalition. It's multiracial coalition, it's populist white, it's Hispanics, Blacks, Asians,
young people, unions, and I think this broadened coalition is
a function of how many things have gone wrong and
been broken in the last four years.
Speaker 3 (02:00:20):
Just agreed, but we'll see. It's time to get out.
If you haven't done it yet, please get out and vote.
Encourage your friends and your family to get out and
vote today. It's your last chance. Today is election Day.
We'll be with you tomorrow morning, bright newly, starting at
five am. Hopefully we'll know at five am what the
election results are.
Speaker 9 (02:00:39):
We may not be so bright ourselves if we stay
up most of the night, but we'll soldier on.
Speaker 2 (02:00:44):
Yeah, we will. Indeed, we'll be here. We'll see you
then
