Among our top stories of this half hour, Trump's big

Speaker 5 (00:42):
Good morning mister Jimmy Barrett, and you've got a big problem.
We start off on a bad note this morning. Southwest
Freeway outbound at bel Air. This is all lanes blocked.
I knew by the way they were lined up here.
Nothing good's happening here. And we're told this is a pedestrian.
This is an outbound deal and it happened around two
something this morning, so it's been there a while. I'm
(01:02):
looking for this to stay with us, probably through the
six o'clock hour.

To Hey you, Jimmy coming up on five o two
in our top story this morning.
Speaker 6 (01:50):
What the world is.
Speaker 8 (01:51):
Witness in the past fourteen weeks is a revolution of
common sense. That's all it is, really wick.
Speaker 7 (01:57):
Conservative President Donald Trump rallying for thousands in Michigan last
night to celebrate one hundred days in office. And promising
more wins soon.
Speaker 8 (02:08):
We're ending the inflation nightmare, the worst that we've had
probably in the history of our country. Getting woke, lunacy
and transgender insanity the hell out.
Speaker 6 (02:18):
Of our government.
Speaker 7 (02:20):
Among the other speakers, Trump critic and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Now,
the administration is looking ahead to the next one hundred days.
Vice President JD. Vance as shutting the border down was
just the first step.
Speaker 9 (02:33):
The biggest focal point of immigration policy over the next
six to twelve months is to empower all of the
people in the administration, from Tom Homer and Christinome to
the border patrol agents on the ground to do their
job and to get a lot of these people out
of our country.

Speaker 6 (02:51):
As for Trump's.
Speaker 7 (02:52):
Other priorities, House Speaker Mike Johnson told k TRH is
sean hennity. He's focused on passing the big beautiful bill
to make the twenty seventeen tax cuts permanent.
Speaker 10 (03:03):
We want to move this aggressively because it will stabilize
the markets. It will be a turbo boost of the economy.
Speaker 7 (03:09):
Those tax cuts expire later this year five HT three now,
but the Democrats are resisting in going back to their
same old tired playbook, including the I word impeachment.
Speaker 11 (03:21):
Because it works so well last time. Man, they're reaching
again for.
Speaker 12 (03:25):
What I mean, what has the president done specifically that
warrants and impeachment.
Speaker 11 (03:30):
Political strategist Ashley Smith Thomas says Schumer's vagueness is a
strategy move, but it relies on Dems winning big and
mid terms and Americans aren't buying their message.
Speaker 12 (03:39):
They're going to have to really quickly gain control of
what their message is and where they're headed. A lot
of this veteroric pertaining to impeachment process a President Trump
is going to backfire.
Speaker 6 (03:50):
She says.
Speaker 11 (03:50):
Americans laid down a mandate and this will fail again.

Speaker 7 (03:57):
The President says he'll make an endorsement in the primary
between Ken Paxton and Senator John Cornyn, but hasn't said
who he'll adorse.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
Or even when.
Speaker 13 (04:07):
Once fundraising numbers have really started to trickle in, once
we've started to see where some of those key grassroots
endorsements line up. At that point, President Trump will probably
start making hints about his choice.
Speaker 7 (04:18):
Political analyst lad Davidia says Trump's endorsement will make or
break this race.
Speaker 6 (04:24):
Five o four.
Speaker 7 (04:25):
The legal fight over deportations continues as the Wisconsin Supreme
Court suspends Judge Hannah Dugan, arrested last week for hiding
an illegal alien in her jewelry room while ICE was
trying to arrest him. So how many illegals have actually
been arrested in Trump's first one hundred days?
Speaker 14 (04:44):
Ice announced in the first one hundred days they've deported
sixty five thousand, six hundred and eighty two illegal aliens
and have arrested another sixty six, four hundred and sixty
three aliens, seventy five percent.
Speaker 6 (04:56):
Of which have criminal convictions or charges.
Speaker 7 (04:59):
Bill Mallusian according there, Governor Greg Abbott highlighting the success
at the border so far, and during the speech yesterday,
he also turned his focus to soft on crime judges,
like here in Harris County, we've been releasing violent criminals
to commit more violent crime.
Speaker 15 (05:14):
We must fix a deadly and broken bail system.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
The list dangerous criminals.
Speaker 7 (05:19):
Back out on streets by the way, back onto the
streets that you are charged with having to patrol abbot
at the Texas Border Sheriff's Coalition. He's in Houston today
to continue the push for bail reform, and this is
why Crime Stoppers says that last year Harris County magistrates
issued more than ten thousand pr bonds for felony offenders
in nearly thirty thousand cases. Well more on that coming
(05:42):
up tomorrow. Five ZHO five. The US Supreme Court here's
arguments today in a case that could establish the country's
first publicly funded religious charter school. This is a case
out of Oklahoma. A decision expected in June or even July.
That's also when we're expecting the High Court release other
high profile rulings, like.
Speaker 16 (06:02):
The one in Maryland where the parents want to be
able to opt out when the LGBTQ lessons are being taught.
Speaker 17 (06:09):
The Supreme Court did seem receptive during the oral argument
for an opt out by the parents.
Speaker 16 (06:15):
That's Matthew Vadim, Supreme Court reporter for The Epic Times,
who says scotus must also weigh in on radical judges
committing law fair.
Speaker 17 (06:24):
It looks like the Supreme Court is considering curbing the
power of federal district judges to issue nationwide injunctions.

Houston's Morning News continues with Jimmy Barrett.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
All right, no love on this boat. Five oh eight
is our time here in Houston's Morning News. I'm going
to give a little I should do an instructional video
on this one. I have a lot of cruises under
my belt. I've done a lot of cruising. We love cruises, Elizabeth,
we go on cruises all We have a cruise coming
up to Greece. In fact, we're taking a group of listeners.
(07:36):
You may recall that's coming up. It's almost May. We're
about seven weeks away from going on that one, and
that's gonna be a lot of fun. And we're on
a celebrity cruise. Nice calm adults generally speaking, on a
celebrity cruise. Now you'll kind of see where I'm going
with us in a second. But let me tell you
about the brawl in Galveston. First heated altercation. Okay, is
(08:00):
that what they want to call it? Involving dozens of
Carnival can I mention that again Carnival cruise passengers has
resulted in twenty four people being put on a do
not sale list. They are banned from further cruises. I'm
looking at a picture of the brawl. It does seem
to involve well, let's just say this. It involves people
(08:24):
that probably like gold, they go on a cruise because
they're looking to save money. There are all sorts of
price points on cruises there. Carnival generally is the budget cruise.
That's the one you know for you have a lot
of problems. At least they spend my experience, you have
a lot of problems on some of those cruises around
spring break time. That's where the college kids go because
(08:46):
the booze is cheaper and the cruise is cheaper and
they can afford to go. Versus a more up upscale
type of cruise line, and you have these kinds of
problems more often when you're involved a more of a
budget cruise like Spirit Airlines seems to have more problems
and their passenger terminals than United or Delta does. It's
(09:07):
the same, it's the same kind of thing, okay, But
to have that many people brawling, and this is after
the cruise is over, makes you wonder what happened on
board the ship. They're cruising and they're they're brawling in
the terminal building where they're picking up their bags and stuff,
and they're still fighting with each other. Twenty four people
band for life for you know what happened inside the
(09:29):
terminal I'm guessing probably something happened on board the ship too.
This probably was maybe the culmination of a one week
cruise that had all kinds of problems involving these people.
If you want to avoid the here's here's what you
need to know. If you book a Disney cruise, for example,
you're going to have loud kids. If you don't want
a cruise with loud kids, you don't book a Disney cruise.
(09:51):
If you don't want a cruise with people who are
there to drink too much and and you are there
on a budget, then you don't want to go Uncarnival. Uh,
it's just you just don't you investigate the type of
cruise it is and the type of people are going
to be on board, and you'll end up with something
that's a lot better five to ten for traffic and
whether together dating cruise. They've gotta have dating cruise, like.
Speaker 6 (10:14):
You know, people over thirty dating cruise. That would be good.
Speaker 5 (10:17):
You know what, I did not know the until you
just said that, though I did not know the cruises
have like class separations, Like there was like some that
were cheaper, so you get like some that are nice
and expensive.
Speaker 6 (10:26):
Like if you get a nice house in Cinco Ranch, right,
you get nice neighbors, but if you go like to
my neighborhood to get yea.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Yeah, yea yeah, yeah, it's a similar thing. Yeah, that's
true just about anything. Lices of course.
Speaker 5 (10:36):
All right, let's go to the southwest side here southbound
around Sharpstown Belair.
Speaker 6 (10:43):
They have shut that road down. Okay, nothing good's happening there.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
This was a pedestrian deal and whoever ran into the
pedestrian they left the scene.
Speaker 6 (10:52):
So nothing good's happening here.
Speaker 5 (10:54):
This is all lanes block at outbound southwester you're listening
southbound outbound, so it's all lanes.
Speaker 6 (10:59):
A backtally shut it down at Hillcroft.
Speaker 5 (11:01):
Now I have a northbound wreck at airport and this
one's kind of crazy, completely unrelated. This is inbound and
I've got one, two, three lanes blocked here right before
the ramp to the Beltway.
Speaker 6 (11:12):
Let's zoom that in.
Speaker 5 (11:13):
Let's zoom that at the five to twenty and get
more accurate backup. I'm Skymike and your USA Rbresorts dot

From our KTRH top tax Defenders twenty four hour weather center.
Terry's here, and we've got what plan for today?
Speaker 6 (11:28):
Terry? What should I be planned for?
Speaker 20 (11:29):
What should you plan for? Well, here's the thing. Plan
for some rain every day through the weekend. We're not
going to see a lot of rain today, but you
know we've got that steady flow of moisture off the
Gulf and and enough instability most likely in the afternoon
hours to get a few showers in thunderstorms, So it's
(11:51):
a thirty percent chance of getting wet today. Our temperatures
will run warm anywhere from the low to upper eighties
this afternoon, but our rain chances slowly increase. We're kind
of caught between that onshore flow and a cold front
that's just basically hanging around North Texas. But it gets
a little bit closer. We'll see about a forty percent
(12:14):
chance of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow, and I actually think
most of that'll be in the morning tomorrow. Afternoon thunderstorms,
though scattered. A fifty percent chance of rain Friday and Saturday,
and a thirty percent chance of more thundershowers Sunday.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
Temperature currently seventy three at your official severe weather station.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
Last night, a big rally just outside of Detroit, Michigan,
MacComb County, about maybe twelve miles outside of the city,
just north of the city. Huge crowd, raucous crowd, as
it is for every Trump rally, flow crowd. There's people outside.
You know, was even there last night? Governor Gretchen Whitmer,
(13:08):
the Democrat governor. Maybe she evidently she got invited to
come up and say a few words, and she no, thanks,
don't tell any of my fellow Democrats lab here.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
But she's a realist, right, She understands what kind of
support Trump has with the auto workers, and she knows
that she needs auto workers support to get elected. So
she's going to do what she has to do that
that's what politicians do.
Speaker 6 (13:33):
Anyway.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
Some of the Trump comments from last night's rally coming
your way next. First, though, traffic and weather together, starting
with Uskuymike, all.
Speaker 5 (13:41):
Right, we got problems here southwest. There's actually two major
Southwest problems. You know, I'm not having a weather problem.
It's gone crazy. First of all, outbound, that's a pedestrian incident.
Let's at beach Nut No bill air, Okay, so they've
shut it off. I'm looking at heel Crops. That's where
they shut it off. This is outbound, not inbound Southwest Freeway.
It's all lanes block Nothing good's happening there.
Speaker 6 (14:02):
It's going to be there all morning.
Speaker 5 (14:03):
Inbound at airport. Now switch over to this quickly. This
is an accident inbound one two three four. I can't
tell if you're getting down the middle bowling a split.
Looks like they've shut you down there too. Off onto
the feeder here, big backup now coming up from Sugar
Creek and North Freeway. Flip that out southbound North Freeway,
Cavalcade one, two three, right lanes, just a left line
(14:23):
getting by.
Speaker 6 (14:24):
Now, what a mess we've got on the North for you.
Speaker 5 (14:26):
I think everybody's okay at Cavalcade though Skymike on a
generator supercenter dot Com traffic center.
Speaker 4 (14:31):

is our time here in Houston's warning news big rally

of course, thanking those allto workers for all of their support.
No doubt they're the reason why he won Michigan, and
he just wanted them to know that he thinks more

and more jobs are coming their way.
Speaker 8 (15:56):
And I'm thrilled to be back in this beautiful state.
Speaker 22 (15:59):

Speaker 8 (16:05):
The companies are coming in by the tens.

You got to see what's happening.
Speaker 8 (16:11):
They all want to come back to Michigan and build

Speaker 6 (16:14):
You know why, because of our tax and tariff policy.
Speaker 8 (16:19):
They're coming from all over the world.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
They're coming up and they're.
Speaker 8 (16:21):
Opening up plants, and they're talking to us.
Speaker 6 (16:23):
All day and all night. They want to get here, and.
Speaker 8 (16:26):
They're coming in and levels you've never seen before. And
I want to thank the Order Workers for your support.
Speaker 23 (16:31):
That was good.
Speaker 8 (16:35):
But I'm thrilled to be back in this beautiful state
with thousands of proud, hardworking American patriots. And we're here
tonight in the heartland of our nation to celebrate the
most successful first one hundred days of Penny administration in
the history of our country. And that's according to many
(16:56):
many people. This is the they say one hundred days
start of any president in history. And everyone is saying
it was just we've just gotten started. You haven't even
seen anything yet.
Speaker 6 (17:09):
It's all just kicking and week by week.
Speaker 8 (17:14):
We're ending illegal immigration, We're taking back our jobs and
protecting our great American Order Workers and all of our workers. Frankly,
we're protecting all of our workers. We're restoring the rule
of law, which was sort of out the window with
this crazy guy. We had How the hell did that
(17:36):
guy ever become president? Because somebody explained to me, how
the hell did that happen?
Speaker 4 (17:43):
How the how the hell did that happen? Well, it
did happen, and a lot of people learn their lesson
from it, so that's that's a good thing. But he
had them right in the palm of his hands, as
he generally does. I mean, nobody reason we're better than don't.
I mean, he knows where he is, who he's speaking to,
what he needs to say. Granted, the message might may
(18:07):
have been slightly fine tuned there for for the automotive crowd,
because Detroit is still an automotive city, But that message
plays pretty well just about everywhere. I mean, he might
not play well in Los Angeles or New York City
or Chicago, but that's okay, that's not where his support
is anyway. Five twenty six. Here in Houston's morning is
time to take a look at your money. Good morning,
(18:28):
mister Bellinger, and good morning to you, Jimmy.
Speaker 24 (18:30):
The major stock averages continued their run up in yesterday's trading,
with games ranging from.
Speaker 6 (18:36):
Half a percent to three quarters percent.
Speaker 24 (18:38):
Shares of United Parcel Service fell about four tens percent,
though the company announced plans to slash twenty thousand jobs
because Amazon dot Com has shifted so many deliveries to
its own fleet. The Teamsters union says it's going to
fight if few PS targets any union jobs. The price
of oil is on track for its biggest April loss
(18:58):
since at least nineteen eighty eight. The crude future slipped
below sixty dollars a barrel this morning. Traders believe demand

It's five point thirty now on Houston's Morning News. I'm
Jimmy Barrett. Among our top stories this half hour, Harris
County suing the Trump administration again, what is the county
doing with the toll road money? And coming up at
five thirty eight, you still use any of these outdated
slang words details in the minutes ahead. You're in Houston's
(19:59):
won Jeb Turkey. First, let's chick out the drive with Skymike.
Speaker 5 (20:03):
All right, Southwest Freeway northbound at Airport. This was the
newer of the two big Southwest problems we have. This
is a boy, they've closed that whole thing down to Lord,
look at that car, all right? This is Southwest Freeway
inbound at Airport. Now that backup is going to go
all the way back to University. It's probably worse than
what I can see at least twenty two minutes from
the digital. So let's jump on all ninety most City Expressway,
(20:26):
West Park Tollway.
Speaker 6 (20:27):
For it, ben Toollway. That's good way around it and
then outbound.
Speaker 5 (20:30):
Oh, they have cleared our pedestrian deal all right, So
we've reopened lanes at Hillcroft it's going to be just
a bit of a scooch outbound.

Thank you, Jimmy five thirty one on KTRH. Our top story.
More obstruction to the Trump agenda. Harris County Democrats sued
the administration, claiming federal job cuts would hurt our hurricane response.
South Texas College of Law professor Josh Blackman says this
is grant standing one oh one.
Speaker 26 (21:24):
Goose lawsuits, mostly FPR.
Speaker 6 (21:26):
Harris County joined.
Speaker 26 (21:27):
A loss that brought by a bunch of federal unions
and cities in California and other places. So I think
Harris Karents had just tagging along. It's not really about
Houston anyway.
Speaker 7 (21:36):
And while the county goes after Trump, the state legislature
is taking a closer look at the county's transferring billions
from the toll road authority into its own pocket.
Speaker 27 (21:46):
This is clear proof that the toll road system has
become a cash cow for local Democrats.
Speaker 28 (21:51):
The Harris County commissioners have allowed this to become their
slash fund. That is not truth and taxation and it
does not allow tollpayers to.
Speaker 6 (21:58):
Follow their dollar.
Speaker 27 (21:59):
Darry Hall with Texas Since for Tolfree Highways says this
is why toles need to be taken down once the

Speaker 28 (22:04):
It is a legislative priority of the Republican Party of Texas.
We have a Republican majority in the legislature. They should
have already passed this bill and at Cittyman Committee.

Also in Austin, the Texas Lottery Commission finalizes a ban
on ticket resellers. This comes in the middle of investigations
over suspicious jackpot wins, and there was in the resignation
of executive director Ryan Mindell five point thirty three, another
sign that China might be backing down on tariffs. According
to reports, they've waived a one hundred and twenty five

percent tariff on ethane imports from the US, and according
to Fox Business as Charles Gasparino, some of the Trump
tariff deals could happen as soon as this week as.
Speaker 23 (22:52):
As they were furthest along with India, Japan. I heard
South Korea, and I heard Australia, But India Japan, I
heard were the ones that there most really ahead on it.
Speaker 6 (23:01):
Here's where things get punky.
Speaker 7 (23:03):
But the big deals, of course that need to get
done are with China, and the EU overnight trading is
flat across the board. This morning, we're going to get
first quarter GBP numbers at seven thirty this morning. Five
point thirty four. President Trump rallied in Michigan yesterday to

Speaker 30 (23:32):
No, I think it's gone way up and I think
we're respected country again.
Speaker 7 (23:35):
He also called a question about his confidence in Defense
Secretary Pete Hegseth quote stupid.
Speaker 6 (23:42):
In Europe.
Speaker 7 (23:42):
Vladimir Putin of Russia declares a three day ceasefire next month,
but remember the words trust but verify.
Speaker 6 (23:50):
The next few days are critical.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Essentially, what we've noted.
Speaker 25 (23:53):
Regularly is that we are going to look at what
Putin does, not what he.
Speaker 7 (23:57):
Says State Department spokesperson Chammi Bruce on News Nation in
the three year war in Europe just proves how expensive
it is to defend the world.
Speaker 31 (24:07):
Total global military spending rules by more than nine percent
last year, the largest annual increase since the end of
the Cold War. That according to a group which tracks
international conflicts. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently encouraged
NATO allies to up their spending even more.
Speaker 32 (24:21):
The events of the last few years, our full scale
ground war in the heart of Europe is a reminder
that hard power is still necessary as a deterrent. And
so we do want to leave here with an understanding
to every single.
Speaker 6 (24:31):
One of the members Committee.
Speaker 32 (24:32):
And fulfilling a promise to reach up to five percent
of spending.
Speaker 31 (24:35):
The US raised military spending by nearly six percent last year,
but President Trump is proposing a twelve percent hike in
defense spending this year. Corey Yelsenhw's Radio seven forty KTRH, Thank.
Speaker 7 (24:45):
You, Corey five thirty five. Bernie Sanders and the squad
are putting wait for it, Medicare for All back out there,
claiming that Trump wants to end Medicare. Political consultant David
Blott says this would turn us into the un.
Speaker 33 (25:00):
Adding group visits for the doctor to make it more efficient.
They were talking about not authorizing certain procedures for people
over a certain.
Speaker 6 (25:11):
Age, and let's fact check the left. Please.
Speaker 7 (25:13):
The Trump administration says they want to improve Medicare, not
eliminate it. The mainstream media's narrative on social security has
led people to claim benefits early. Financial planner azul Well says,
the mainstream media is gaslighting you, and taking these benefits
early hurts you long term.
Speaker 34 (25:32):
If you take it at sixty two, you're gonna get
seventy percent of that, and then every month you take
it after that you get a little bit more than
that seventy percent until it goes up to one hundred percent.
Speaker 6 (25:44):
It's now five point thirty six.
Speaker 7 (25:46):
The Trump administration also strikes a new water delivery deal
with Mexico to help Texas farmers.
Speaker 35 (25:52):
Despite a water sharing treaty from nineteen forty four, Mexico
has gotten way behind and getting water to Texas and
the Texas farm Bureaus. Gary Joyner sees some devastation.
Speaker 36 (26:03):
We've already lost sugarcane production in the Rio Grand Valley.
We're fearful that citrus, grapefruit, oranges from Texas may be
the next crops.
Speaker 6 (26:12):
To be impacted by a lack of water.
Speaker 35 (26:14):
Under a new play I'm using the old treaty, though,
Mexico is promising to deliver tens of thousands of gallons
to Texas, and it's hoped more water is on the way.

you get to work or when you get up or
whenever it is, just send that along to me. Everybody
(27:35):
who sends that this week is eligible for our prize. Now,
slang terms, what outdated slang term do you still use?
Maybe it goes all the way back to high school
or college or just your youth, and you don't necessarily
want to use it, but you do because it just
(27:55):
slips out. It just happens. Here's a list of some
of the outdated slang world words are terms that are
still used very often by a lot of people. Number
one gnarly is we just demonstrated? Number two stoked? Number
three sweet, I find I use that every now and again. Sweet.
Number four word number five sick. You know, like cool.
(28:20):
By the way, Cool's not on this list. Is it
still cool to say cool? Because cool seems to be
the one slang word that has survived from generation to generation.
I mean, cool was cool back in the fifties and
it's still cool. Uh peace and say goodbye peace peace
or peace out peace out? Uh dude, I find I
(28:42):
still use that every now and again. Dude, Like what
are you doing?
Speaker 6 (28:46):
Dude?
Speaker 4 (28:48):
Tight? Okay, dopey? That must be grandma's word. Or Joe Biden,
now we're cooking with gas? Can you get du bomb
Hella Bee's knees Now, that's no, that's definitely Joe Biden
turned Be's knees, Bogus whipper snapper, home, slice, smell you later,

get the back up here. We've got airport. Sorry, we're
just super busy. It's one, two, three right lanes blocked
her left lines. Nope, they're gonna take the whole thing out,
all right. So you're on the feeder road and this
(29:57):
is going to back us up right after all ninety.
I really don't understand why this backup isn't bigger, since
it's all lanes. Doesn't look like anything good's happening here,
So let's jump on ALLT ninety. It's easy to get
to it now. It's easy to flip over to six
and go to the fort Mental Way West Park. Tolway's
looking great right now, Katie, if that's that's an option
for you to the KT Freeway instead. We've also had
(30:17):
this wreck on the North Freeway. Double check that that
was cavalcade southbound one two three lanes here. That's uh yeah,

Speaker 37 (31:08):

can do when we're a scientist.
Speaker 6 (31:16):
Sorry, hum dinger. Okay, Okay, rock on, that's a good one.
Hum dinger.
Speaker 37 (31:25):
All right, yeah, yes.
Speaker 6 (31:29):
Thank you very nice. What do we look like?
Speaker 20 (31:32):
We're looking a little soggy today, but there's actually a
better chance of rain for the rest of the week.
A few showers and thunderstorms. That's all we're going to
see today, A thirty percent chance of rain, a war
muggy day. Temperatures will be in the eighties, forty percent
chance of those showers and thunderstorms, and that the bulk
of that rain may be tomorrow morning. We may have

a line of thunderstorms that comes through in the morning,
clears out by the afternoon. We'll see how that pans out.
Mid upper eighties tomorrow, Row fifty percent chance of showers

Your financial advisor offering you up to a thirty percent

you need a new financial advisor. I'm Jeff Junior, Founder
of Trade and Wealth. If you plan to retire within

They're not.

I was in my thirties, but the closer I get

the more I feel, you know, sort of the effects
of time. You know, the lack of an appropriate testosterone level,
for example, it really just you feel like you don't
have energy to do the things that you want to do,
and therefore you kind of sit on your butt and
you make the situation worse. Men's D Clinic is all

about getting your testop throne level right, because all good
things follow after that. More energy to do the things
you want to do. You're gonna feel younger, You're going

There's lots of other programs they have too, by the way,
to enhance those things. If you still have issues. They
have a sexual wellness program. They have a joint pain

program that's very affordable, especially compared to some of these

Trump's first one hundred days, if you had to pick

this question into Wesley Hunt yesterday and he didn't want
to pick one thing. But if you had to pick
one thing, did you think Trump's biggest accomplishment is in
the first one hundred days? What would you pick more
than that? Story coming up in a moment. First, though,

first one under days at Trump University five point fifty
two is our time. I feel like we're in the
graduate program here at Trump University, where they're they're teaching
the fine art of budgeting, balancing the budget, eliminating waste
(41:16):
and fraud securing the country. I think if you had
to pick one thing, I mean just one thing, you
got to go with immigration, right. That's clearly the biggest
success story. A lot of these other things are going
to have to play out over time, like tariffs, but
the immigration, I mean the immigration. He shut that down
right away. That is for sure his biggest accomplishment to date.
(41:39):
But he has done more in the first one under
days than most presidents do in four years. We got
to get Congress to get there, you know what in
gear at this point, but hopefully that comes along too.
Greg Gutfeld on the show last night, trumping the first
one hundred days of the second Trump administration with Trump.
Speaker 6 (41:56):
One hundred feels like a thousand. So many moves, and
many are big.
Speaker 44 (42:00):
This March saw the lowest monthly number of border encounters
on record. Violent illegals who roam the streets under Biden
are being removed at record speed. Only nine illegals have
been discharged into the country, but they were released into
the audience for Fox and Friends and quickly self deported.
(42:22):
Trump downsized federal government with Doze, saving one hundred and
sixty billion in the process. Far from enough, but at
this rate one point six billion a day, we might
avoid economic ruin. He crushed DEI, took men out of
women's sports, returned plastic straws or our waiting mouths, unleashed
domestic energy production, and made showers great again.
Speaker 6 (42:43):
Not that some Democrats actually use them.
Speaker 44 (42:48):
But when Trump says he'll do something, he does it
at breakneck speed.
Speaker 6 (42:52):
How do you explain this? Well, all Trump did is match.
Speaker 44 (42:55):
The pace of politics to the accelerating change of technology,
and two point zero is changing the speed of politics
so much so it's like replacing a carrier pigeon with
a five G iPhone. But today Dems are too impaired
by anger and self driven theatrics to see. Clearly they're
chasing the romance of resistance, embracing losing issues like the
(43:17):
Maryland Dad as if Ward Cleaver also punched June in
the face. No wonder the corrupt media, our neutral observers
have hit Trump with a ninety two percent negative coverage.
Speaker 6 (43:33):
So what's going on here?
Speaker 44 (43:35):
Well, Trump's revealed the true battle. It's between the inns
and the outs, the self obsessed versus the selfless. Every morning,
Trump wakes up to life as an adventure.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
What can I do today? What dragon can I slay?
Speaker 44 (43:48):
Meanwhile, the aging Dems still cling to identity politics. They
become consumed by the self and left the world behind.
Speaker 4 (43:56):
Yeah, speaking of consumed Democrats, have you seen this guy
who's introduced the articles of impeachment? Where's going to introduce
articles of impeachment against Trump? We mentioned him briefly yesterday.
Born and raised in India. Name difficult to pronounce it.
If I had it in front of me right now,
(44:17):
I take a stab at it if fear of you know,
offending people of Indian heritage are going.
Speaker 6 (44:21):
That's not how you say that.
Speaker 4 (44:23):
But this guy is all he's decided he's going to
make a name for himself, and I'm wondering if you
know how Al Green feels about this. That's that's Al
Green's act, right, that's his thing to shake his cane
and go after Trump. Now he's got some other guy
who's who's trying to take this steam away. So here,
here we are. We're looking at the same old playbook.
Trump mentioned it at his rally last night. Here they
(44:45):
go again, trying to get him through impeachment. It'll be
about as effective as it was last time. But hey,

Yes, she was not expecting to speak, but was invited
on stage by the President. That followed her appearance in
the Oval Office a few weeks back. You remember the
one where she tried to cover her face from pictures.
The Trump administration has achieved a lot in its first
one hundred days, but it's also facing opposition from leftist
federal judges. Vice President JD. Vance told kat Reh's Clay
(47:36):
and Buck, this must be settled.
Speaker 9 (47:38):
You hear the media and they'll say, well, this is
a constitutional crisis, and the constitutional crisis is not Donald
Trump refusing to allow the district courts to govern the country.
The crisis is the district courts trying to govern the
country and our approaches.
Speaker 6 (47:52):
We're fighting it legally. He expects to.
Speaker 7 (47:55):
Win in Congress is looking at legislation to reign in
the power of federal judges. The same time, Congress is
looking at Trump's big beautiful bill to advance his agenda
and make the text cuts he passed in twenty seventeen permanent.
Speaker 10 (48:09):
It will restore again, helping us restore the piece through
strength principle, and it will show the country that Republicans
are serious, that they made the right choice.
Speaker 7 (48:16):
I'll Speaker Mike Johnson there. Republicans hope to have this
done by Memorial Day, but it's looking more like July fourth,
now six ZHO three. Democrat leader Chuck Schumer continues to
resist and won't rule out a third run at impeaching Trump.
Political strategist Ashley Smith Thomas's Schumer's non commitment to the
idea is a strategy that hinges on Democrat wins in
(48:39):
the midterms next year.
Speaker 12 (48:41):
What you're going to see then is the Democrats moving
forward with articles of impeachment. Then I also think what
we're going to see is a lame duck session in
terms of the president being not able to fulfill his
policy priorities.
Speaker 7 (48:55):
Ultimately, she says this effort will backfire. The Senate race
between John Cornyon and Ken Paxson is red hot, with
President Trump confirming he will make an endorsement, but when.
Speaker 27 (49:08):
Chances are Trump is going to give them both plenty
of time to earn the endorsement.
Speaker 13 (49:12):
Both candidates are eager to receive the endorsement of President Trump.
They both understand the endorsement of President Trump is going
to be the key signing factor.
Speaker 27 (49:19):
Industry political analyst led d Vidick says Trump is also
likely going to be using this as leverage over Cornyn
in the Senate.
Speaker 13 (49:26):
He depends on Senator Cornyn to push legislation through the Senate.
The Senate, even though Republicans do enjoy a majority, it's
a very slim majority.
Speaker 27 (49:34):
He thinks Trump will also wait to see who manages
to get more support from grassroots leaders. Ethan Buchanan News

about Trump's success at the border and called for bail
reform to pass in Austin, preventing shoft on crime judges

Speaker 6 (50:16):
The bail reform is something that needs to be done.
Speaker 13 (50:18):
Unfortunately, we live in the sides today where we need
every tool in the toolbox.
Speaker 7 (50:24):
Clint McDonald with the Texas Border Sheriff's Coalition there Abbott

Coming up on six h six oral arguments today at
the US Supreme Court in an Oklahoma case which could

The Doom rather with the Epoch Times says one of
the key cases is here in Texas, where Ken Paxton
is trying to protect age verification on porn sites.
Speaker 17 (51:04):
It did seem from the oral arguments in January that
the Supreme Court is going to rule in favor of
the Texas law. My guess is probably they're going to
allow it to stand. It is not a violation of
the First Amendment.
Speaker 7 (51:16):
That ruling is expected in June six h six. You
heard it right here last night on KTRH.

So what six h seven our time here in Houston's
morning news.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
Right.
Speaker 6 (52:13):
Here's the Trump Executive Order. Allow me to share it
with you.
Speaker 4 (52:18):
By the authority vested in me as President of the
Constitution the Laws of the United States of America. It
is hereby ordered America's truck drivers essential to the strength
of our economy, the security of our nation, and the
livelihoods of the American people. Everyday, truckers perform the demanding
and dangerous work of transporting the nation's goods to businesses, customers,
(52:39):
and communities safely, reliably, and efficiently. Here's the part that
I'll interest you. Proficiency in English, which I designated as
our official national language and Executive Order one four two
two four of March first, twenty twenty five, should be
a non negotiable safety requirement for professional drivers. They should
(53:03):
be able to read and understand traffic signs, communicate with
traffic safety, border patrol, agricultural checkpoints, and cargo wait limit
station officers. Drivers need to provide feedback to their employers
and customers and receive related directions in English. This is
common sense. This is why federal law requires them. To
(53:28):
operate a commercial vehicle. The driver must read and speak
the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public,
to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language,
to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on
reports and records. So here's my question, I guess, and
some of you I know are truck drivers who are
listening to our show right now. Are there commercial truck
(53:50):
drivers that are not proficient in English? How big of
a problem is this? I would guess that the President
thinks it's a problem, or he wouldn't have written an
executive order about it. So I would love to you
can talk back to us, you know, either through sky Mike.
Wouldn't you do a traffic report for us this morning?
Or just go with the iHeart radio app KATRH put
(54:14):

truck driver, just tell me you got thirty seconds. First
name where you call them from on the road somewhere?
I guess is English proficiency a problem for commercial truck drivers?

uh There's i'm surprised there hasn't been more Impeach trump
songs because that seems to be a broken record For
democrat six twenty three IS o that time here On
Houston's Born. News the latest threat comes from A Michigan
democrat representative who everybody seemed to look at and, said
wait a, minute this guy's In. Congress kind of a
(59:55):
strange looking, guy very Thick indian, accent but he's a
he's a bona fide member Of. Congress joining us to
talk about that the first one hundred days of the
Second trump. Term Our Congressman Troy. Nils welcome to the, show.
Sir i'm, surprised is Al? Green upset by the way
that he got beat to the bunch on this.
Speaker 47 (01:00:14):
One, jimmy this is the second Time i've had to correct.
You now It's Alexander. Minded me his name? IS i,
said al how are? You AND i call Him?
Speaker 6 (01:00:23):
Albert, albert how are? You he, says It's.
Speaker 47 (01:00:26):
Alexander So Alexander. Green, no you know, what it seemed
like he was the one that first jumped on the
bandwagon about filing articles of impeachment and how he get
this individual out Of he represents The michigan's thirteen. District
he's brand, new he's a. FRESHMAN i guess he served
in the house up there in the state Of michigan
for a couple of. Years BUT i guess he's trying
(01:00:48):
to build a name for himself because now here we
are talking about.
Speaker 6 (01:00:51):
Him, yeah too.
Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
Bad he can't build a name for himself with legislation
or proposed, legislations, said going down this rabbit hole.
Speaker 6 (01:00:56):
Again, yes and if.
Speaker 47 (01:01:00):
You look at these articles of, impeachment he lists about seven.
Things you, know he's saying that the boss is obstruction
of justice and abuse of executive. Power, no, no, NO
i think maybe he took that from The biden administration
and just copying. It it's just, this they're going to
do everything to try to gain some. Attention we knew
this was going to take, Place. Jamie it will get
(01:01:21):
a lot. Worse this is going to go, nowhere by the,
way it will get a lot worse if the if
The democrats take over The house here.
Speaker 6 (01:01:28):
In the next two, Years, oh no doubt about. That
it will get a lot.
Speaker 47 (01:01:30):
Worse but it's just it's a game they're playing right.
Now but it doesn't hold any water up here right.
Speaker 4 (01:01:38):
Now all, Right, well let's talk about the president's first
one hundred days of his second.
Speaker 23 (01:01:41):
Term.
Speaker 4 (01:01:41):
HERE i try to get THAT i Put Wesley hunt
kind of in the. CORNER i, SAY i, said give
me the one if you if you were forced to
pick one thing as his biggest accomplishment in the first
one hundred, days what would that one thing. Be he couldn't.
Fit he couldn't come up with just the one. Thing
he had to come up with about. Ten So i'll challenge.
You can you come up with the what do you
think is the biggest of? ALL i, mean he's accomplished a,
(01:02:03):
lot but what's the? Biggest, WELL i.
Speaker 47 (01:02:05):
Would say the one. THING i would say the. Area
it would be the. Border and there is so much
that he has done with the. Border it's we talk
about it all the, time and it's been reduced what
ninety something. Percent he's deported over one hundred. Thousand he's
focused On, trendiagua the violent you, know gangs out Of
venezuela and everywhere. ELSE i, mean he's reinstated the remain In.
(01:02:26):
MEXICO i, mean his executive orders go on and on and,
on cancel THE cbp App SO i would probably say
the border because The boss is very. Smart he knows
that The american people that was the number one issue
in my humble opinion in the, campaign AND i think
that's what wanted for. Him he said he's going to you,
know Protect, american keep The american people, safe and have
(01:02:46):
a secure and safe southern. Border and that's exactly what he's.
Done So i'd probably say that has been his most
significant accomplishment in the first hundred. Case but Like wesley,
said there's so much whether it's, energy he, again drill, baby,
drill the lergy exports That biden, canceled you, Know trump
reinstated all that foreign investment coming. Back AND i tell
(01:03:09):
you some people don't Like Elon. MUSK i think the
guy's done.
Speaker 8 (01:03:12):
A hell of a.
Speaker 47 (01:03:13):
Job he's done a hell of a job exposing the
waste for other abuse we've seen in our government for.
Speaker 6 (01:03:18):
Decades and it scares the.
Speaker 47 (01:03:20):
Left it scares the, left AND i think some of
the actions and activities that we've seen over the past
it's almost. Criminal what what what people have done and
how they've The.
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
Wait.
Speaker 4 (01:03:31):
Let me put you on the spot real quick here
as we're already out of, time BUT i wanted to
ask you this what what do you see is the
most important thing For congress to accomplish in the next
one hundred.
Speaker 1 (01:03:39):
Days, oh it's.
Speaker 47 (01:03:41):
Reconciliation matter of, fact today we got a big here
and now the hearings will start today and then they'll
go in the next. Week it's it's called, reconciliation and
that's where we pass. Legislation it's it's a tool of the,
majority because we only need a simple majority on The
house and The senate, side so we should be able
to get this. Done but it Includ trump's tax. Cuts
(01:04:02):
that is a, big big. Deal we want to reduce
spending by one point five. Trillion well we get to
the one point FIVE i don't. Know The senate's got
some other numbers they would like to float, around.
Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
But that is the main.
Speaker 47 (01:04:12):
Issue if we could get that, Done trump will have
a very successful first, term, right.
Speaker 6 (01:04:17):
So we have to do it and we got to
get on.
Speaker 4 (01:04:19):

Speaker 19 (01:11:37):
Been a NIGHTMARE ktrh time saving. Traffic next on the,
ten six thirty, EIGHT a time here In houston's. Barn you,
so about half an hour ago or, SO i asked
this question Because i've read The trump executive order that
Requires english proficiency for commercial truck, drivers AND i, said,
(01:11:58):
well sounds like there must be a. Problem AND i
know there's been a trucker. Shortage so are we hiring
or have we? Hired if companies hired a lot of
commercial truckers who are not proficient In. English and the
reason why The president seems to be concerned about this is, because,
well you, know the road signs are In, english you
know the customers Speak. English seems like that would be
(01:12:21):
a no brainer that you would need to be proficient In,
english regardless of your country of, origin if you're going
to be a commercial truck. Driver SO i asked you
truckers to weigh, in and by, golly you, did at
LEAST i think you. Did let me try it. Again
i'm not hearing. Anything why is?
Speaker 6 (01:12:39):
That, okay try? Again oh that's why you updated. It,
okay hang on just a, second, now let's try.
Speaker 48 (01:12:51):
It, yes the language barrier is an issue across the trucking.
Industry anytime THAT i go to pick up near the,
port can't understand a single thing being. Said that's kind of.
Speaker 49 (01:13:03):
Distracting, yes, SIR i work for a company AND i
see many trucks coming through every, day AND i would
say a great percentage of them do not Speak. English
i've actually had to use my phone as a translator
For chinese and other. Languages so it's true there's a
(01:13:24):
lot of them out there that do not Speak english at.

Speaker 50 (01:13:41):
Last year and a half to two, Years i've been
getting tremendous complaints from job sites from a project managers
at trailer drivers show, up can't. Communicate no one's understanding each.
Other all they know is have papers that have to
be signed to to get on their. Way it's been
a tremendous.
Speaker 2 (01:13:58):
Problem it is.
Speaker 24 (01:14:00):

Speaker 22 (01:14:07):
Stopped, como, No i'm Blame. English, Okay, SEE.
Speaker 4 (01:14:21):
I guess it really is a. PROBLEM i had no
idea the problem was that. Bad and again not to
defend companies for hiring Non english speaking truck, drivers but they,
have they have to have truck. Drivers evidently there's not
enough truck drivers proficient In. English so if we require,
that are we going to be able to replace those
(01:14:41):
drivers with people who are proficient In english to get
our goods and services where they have to go all,
right six forty times for traffic and weather.
Speaker 5 (01:14:48):
Together what you, are you're no longer you're. Proficient it's
you more proficient In english Or. Spanish, well obviously My
english isn't so great. Either but you, know IF i
IF i drink two, BEERS i can Speak. Spanish drink

Speaker 6 (01:21:19):
Market one is just the interest rate.
Speaker 51 (01:21:21):
Environment there's a number of interest rate cuts expected throughout
the year that would definitely make it more attractive for
those people that have federal student loans to refinance at
a lower. Rate and then those two that are in,
default it really will come down to their credit. Worthiness you,
know have they been able to maintain the same credit
worthiness they have prior to the, moratoriment prior to spent
not paying back their. Loans it could be a second

Spending and the president has released The trump administration at
the least has released a transparency report on The Job,
(01:31:08):
corps which has never happened. Before we've never really known
how much are they, spending how many of their students,
graduate and what are the students making once they. Graduate
so here's what we have found. Out by the, way teenage,
runaways high school, dropouts twenty somethingter x cons live in
(01:31:28):
dormitories get their GEDs in vocational. Training the national cost
per graduate one hundred eighty eight thousand, dollars with the
average graduate staying thirteen and a half, months of more
than one hundred and ten. Campuses the ten least efficient
averaged a cost of or three hundred eighty five thousand
(01:31:49):
dollars per. Graduate the average amount of money salary yearly
salary earned by A Job corps graduate sixteen, thousand six
hundred ninety five. Dollars it sounds like college one hundred
and eighty eight thousand to train them for a sixteen
thousand dollars year. Job they spent nearly two billion in
(01:32:12):
federal tax money every. Year for this two, billion it's
a boon for the nonprofit contractors who run. Them but
the statistics for the program say all you need to.
Know it only has a thirty two percent graduation. Rate
the definition of, graduate by the, way is. Misleading of
(01:32:35):
about thirty thousand rollies in the twenty three to twenty
four school, year roughly ten thousand were expelled for, misconduct
five thousand were booted for, absconding and five thousand dropped
out for other. Reasons this, PROGRAM i don't think can
be called a success in any, way shape or. Form
so why are we spending taxpayer dollars on? This enough

Guessing i'm glad That President trump is going to play
this one out for a. While he's not going to
tip his hand as far as who he, supports not
as long as he has legislation that he needs cooperation
(01:37:59):
From senator Horn in on.
Speaker 13 (01:38:02):
Absolutely right, now both candidates are very eager to Receive
President trump's. Endorsement But President trump understands that with a
very flim majority in The United States, senate he needs
every ounce of support that he can get From Senator
cornyn to pass some key legislation and support his. Agenda
he depends On Senator, cornyant so he he will hold
(01:38:25):
off on making any kind of an endorsement anytime. Soon
it's just not to his advantage at this.
Speaker 6 (01:38:30):
Point, YEAH i can't see him doing it.
Speaker 4 (01:38:33):
Either did do you think do you have an in
your mind's, eye do you think that there's the particular
candidate of the two he would. PREFER i would think
That Ken paxton would be closer politically speaking To President
trump than Certainly John cornyan Is John corny is about his,
rhinos you.
Speaker 13 (01:38:50):
Get Attorney General paxton has been a longtime supporter and
a close ally Of President. Trump he helped head The
texas campaign for both for all Of President trump's presidential,
runs and so he's enjoyed a very close relationship with. Him,
Additionally President trump share a very close affinity with center
(01:39:15):
With Attorney General paxson because they've both been attacked and
persecuted and prosecuted by those who really want to take
down the people Like paxton And trump who come up
against the. Establishment so there is that element where there's
that close association where they've both been through the same,
(01:39:35):
battles And President trump appreciates those hard fighter tactics the
background like that has that fighter capability and also that
sense of. Loyalty those are definitely things That trump.
Speaker 4 (01:39:48):
VALUES i personally have mixed emotions on this one BECAUSE
i think That Ken paxton would probably be a Great
United States senator FOR. Us but by the same, token
do we have somebody standing in the wings to take
over as attorney jail For Kim paxton who can do
the things That Kim paxton, Did Because paxton has been
pretty prolific in The attorney general's.
Speaker 13 (01:40:06):
Office, several several high quality candidates have announced their intention
to seek that. Position and these Are these are people
who are not. Lightweights here are not people who are,
wallflowers you. Know Certain Senator huffman has announced she's. Interested
Possibly Senator middleton has announced that he wants to be a.
(01:40:28):
Candidate so you have people who have pretty significant weight
in The Texas Senate texas politics announcing that they're interested
in pursuing that.
Speaker 4 (01:40:37):
Office when do you think an announcement comes in? THIS
i mean it's not going to come before the midterm.
Certainly how close to the to the end Of i'm
trying to, remember Is cornyn Is? Cornyn when does he get?
Reelected what does that campaign?
Speaker 6 (01:40:52):
Begin?
Speaker 13 (01:40:54):
Uh, yeah this this is going to be a race
for twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (01:40:56):
Six The.
Speaker 13 (01:40:58):
Senator Senator cornyn is not really locked up in terms
of what he's planning to do long. Term he's it
took him a while to really announce that he was
planning to seek re, election and for a lot of
people thought that maybe this might be his last. Term
BUT i think the, majority having the majority in the
(01:41:20):
in The United States, senate Encouraged senat De cornyn to move. Forward,
also you, know he did rather well in the leadership.
Contest even though he finished third. Place he still holds
some respect with his, colleagues so he's encouraged to stay.
There but this is going to be a pretty big
fight next, year especially with the with the publican.
