Speaker 1 (00:03):
It's that time. Lock and load.

Speaker 2 (00:08):

Speaker 2 (00:49):

In Jesus' arms I shall see

(01:31):
it through in love.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
What's a happy day.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Jesus won.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Oh, when he won. Jesus won.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
When Jesus won. When Jesus won. He washed the sins away. Oh,
happy day. Oh, happy day. Oh, happy day. He taught
me how.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
When Jesus was, you have seen the way.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Oh, happy day.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Oh, it's a happy day.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Oh, happy day.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Oh, Lord.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Oh, happy day. Good God. Oh, happy day.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Well, it is 9-11.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
We had the conclusion of the midterm convention. Oh, happy day.
And we've had a lot more going on. It is
Open Line Friday, and that means it is your opportunity
to talk.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
713-999-1000.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
713-999-1000. You can email me through the website, michaelberryshow.com, to
get us started. As we always do, courtesy of the
greatest executive producer in all the land, Chad Aconi.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Your Week in Review.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
This is a guy whose mother is in hospice and
who honors his mother by the words that he uses.
When a guy has been in the rap game and
has been married for 21 years to his wife, Crystal,
you are all over the internet and you're singing songs
about 21 years of marriage. I think there's something to

(06:08):
be said for that.

Speaker 6 (06:10):
Universe of Houston game, a fan decided to run onto
the field, and it was a big mistake.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Lance Johnson executed a form tackle that Mike Singletary would
have been impressed with. I mean, it was... Jacked up!
It was J.J. Watt open field smash mouth football tackle.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Jacked up!

Speaker 6 (06:38):
Jurors in the Lindsay Clancy case voicing frustration tonight.

Speaker 7 (06:41):
We had the hardest time getting off the fact that Lindsay.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Viciously killed her children.

Speaker 8 (06:46):
Viciously killed her children.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
These female jurors are straight out of your nightmares for
what kind of juror might wind up at the Lindsay
Clancy or any other trial. White liberal women are the
downfall of this country. It is not black criminals. I
know many people think it is. It is white liberal women.
They have insinuated themselves into a position where they, like
the Ba'ath Party in Iraq, they wield more power than

(07:11):
their numbers.

Speaker 6 (07:12):
Tallarico is doing counter-programming right now to the GOP convention.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
We had a few minutes with him. There are six
biological sexes. Do you still believe that, standing here.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
With me right now? No.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
What I meant is that there are two sexes and
then there's a small percentage of people with genetic abnormalities.
That's not true anymore. It was when you were representing Austin.
But now that you got to get voters in Orange
and Lufkin and Pecos County, oddly in Midland and Odessa,
all of a sudden now, I don't know, that wasn't true.
I just feel provocative.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
This is Tracy Bird, and welcome to the Lifestyles of
the Not-So-Rich and Famous, or, as I call it, the
Michael Berry.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
Show.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
25 years ago today. Remember that day?

Speaker 7 (08:00):
Who would have guessed, 25 years later, the city of
New York, the target of most of the carnage, would
have an immigrant Muslim mayor who hates our country and
hates Christians, And views himself and his fellow Muslims as

(08:21):
the victims in all of this.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
We have fallen a long way without a shot fired.
It's amazing to me. The white man's guilt has happened
all over the world. It's happened all over the world.
This feeling that white people are evil and awful. Compared
to what? It's amazing that people can come to this

(08:48):
country and hate it so much. That's just crazy. Come
to this country.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
Why?

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Why come to this country and arrive and spend all
their time telling us how awful we are, which is fine.
That's their failing, not ours. What's amazing is how many
of our people buy into it and repeat it. It's
really something. On this day, that's what I reflect upon.

(09:15):
How many Americans were going about their days not bothering
a soul, raising their kids, running their business, serving the community,
wearing a firefighter's uniform or police officer's uniform. Some of
the stories that we will tell this evening that we've

(09:37):
been working on for the last couple of weeks. Just
reading those stories and putting yourself in that story, it's... Wow. Yeah,
I'll save that for the evening.

Speaker 8 (09:50):
713-999-1000, 713-999-1000, 713-999-1000.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
You can email me through the website at michaelberry. Drunk Mark,
as fate would have it, is our first call of
this day. Drunk Mark, take it away.

Speaker 9 (10:08):
Hey, Michael Berry.

Speaker 8 (10:12):
So, we headed over to this house in Somerville. That's
where I'm working the thing. I just wanted to call
and tell you where I was Okay.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Before you do that, Mark, hold on. I don't think
you're drunk today.

Speaker 8 (10:26):
Uh-uh.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Are you hungover?

Speaker 5 (10:29):
Do you want me to be drunk?

Speaker 1 (10:30):
No, it's just when you're on, it's like for the
first few seconds, I'm waiting with bated breath to see
if you're drunk or not. So I'm just waiting to see.
I'm kind of like the officer, you know, putting you
on the chalk line.

Speaker 5 (10:44):
Yeah, I've been wondering.

Speaker 8 (10:45):
I've been wondering if you want me to get drunk.

Speaker 10 (10:48):
No, no.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
I would love for you to have a great life,
whatever that is. I don't intend to try to direct it.
I believe in your own agency and your decision-making. I'm
just curious.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
I'm curious at that point.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
Well, no, I'm not drunk.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Are you riding in somebody else's truck?

Speaker 10 (11:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Who's that, the boss man?

Speaker 9 (11:15):
Right now, we're about there.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
We're about to the job site.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
In Lake Somerville?

Speaker 9 (11:20):
Near it.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
What are y'all doing?

Speaker 8 (11:24):
Kind of like framing, I guess.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
What are you eating, a taco? Cookie.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
Sugar cookie.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
All right, go ahead.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
What were you doing on 9-11? Go ahead, Mark.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
I was in prison.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
That was three days before I got out.

Speaker 9 (11:41):
And I got out September 14th.

Speaker 8 (11:43):
And I remember.

Speaker 5 (11:47):
There was flags everywhere.

Speaker 8 (11:49):
And everybody was united like we should be all the time.

Speaker 9 (11:52):
And it.

Speaker 8 (11:54):
Was just a different time. I was, okay, so I
was laying up in a, where was I?

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Mineral Wells.

Speaker 8 (12:02):
I was at a pre-release unit.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Home of Crazy Water Crystals.

Speaker 5 (12:07):
Yeah, they closed that place down because of.

Speaker 9 (12:09):
A, I guess there was a riot when I was there,
and the National Guard came.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
What were you in prison for?

Speaker 5 (12:16):
Remember? I keep telling you.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
No, I can't remember, Mark. Everybody said I got a
thousand things going.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
What?

Speaker 8 (12:23):
I stole a weed eater and a lawnmower.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
You stole them?

Speaker 9 (12:27):
Yeah, so I could help my mom out with rent.
I was trying to work with it, but she was
about to lose the house, which she did. She eventually
did because I went to prison, so.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
I remember my brother.

Speaker 8 (12:41):
Turned me in. We had him on the radio. He's
probably listening now.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Mark, that story was five years ago.

Speaker 9 (12:46):
I know, but you keep asking me why I went.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
I forgot that was even you. I remember that guy's story.
I didn't even realize that was you. Mm-hmm.

Speaker 9 (12:55):
But come to find out, he keeps telling me he
didn't snitch on me.

Speaker 10 (12:59):
And.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
We settled that.

Speaker 8 (13:01):
Out on our last phone call. Last time I was
on the radio, he called me. He was like, I
heard you on the radio today.

Speaker 9 (13:06):
And that was the day I was in San Antonio
picking up my bike.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Who gave you the sugar cookie?

Speaker 8 (13:12):
This guy I'm riding with.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Is he Mexican?

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Does he speak English?

Speaker 5 (13:18):
Yeah, clearly.

Speaker 8 (13:19):
He went to school here.

Speaker 9 (13:20):
He's like one of them dreamers.

Speaker 5 (13:23):
Really?

Speaker 8 (13:25):
Really, I don't see nothing wrong with him being here.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Ramon is very bothered by you eating and smacking.

Speaker 9 (13:29):
He don't eat anymore.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
He just goes a week without eating.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Poor thing.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
What's the Mexican guy's name? The fluent.

Speaker 8 (13:38):
Angel Angel.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (13:40):
All right.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
And what's your role on this deal?

Speaker 8 (13:44):
I'm the helper again.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
What?

Speaker 9 (13:46):
I'm the helper again. Yesterday I was picking up.
All the trash helps clean up, bro. Just stuff they
don't want to do.

Speaker 5 (13:53):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (13:54):
Yeah, I do.

Speaker 9 (13:54):
Kind of like George Bush said, they're doing the jobs that.

Speaker 5 (13:59):
Y'all don't want to do.

Speaker 8 (14:00):
Well, I'm doing the jobs they don't.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
Want to do.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Mark's doing the job the Mexicans don't want to do.
You're doing the jobs that the people don't want to
do or the people who are supposed to be doing
the jobs that we don't want to do.

Speaker 8 (14:12):
Right.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Man, this thing's come full circle.

Speaker 5 (14:17):
All right.

Speaker 8 (14:18):
Circle of Lion King.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
I guess. I guess. So he comes by and picks
you up?

Speaker 8 (14:26):
Remember, we all live on the same property.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
All right.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Are you ready when he's ready to go, or has
he got to come knock on the door?

Speaker 5 (14:33):
I was ready. I was ready.

Speaker 8 (14:34):
I was waiting on him.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Do y'all listen to Norteno, or what kind of music
y'all listen to on the way?

Speaker 9 (14:39):
He does, but he likes old classic rock, too.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
Oh, really?

Speaker 5 (14:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Does he know you're on the air right now?

Speaker 9 (14:47):
Yeah, I told him.

Speaker 5 (14:48):
I don't know if he cares.

Speaker 9 (14:49):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Can he hear you right now?

Speaker 8 (14:52):
No, he went and I guess he's talking with the homeowner.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Well, it's the Michael Perry Show.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
John, you're on the.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Michael Perry Show. Hey, Michael. On 9-11, the.

Speaker 10 (15:12):
Original one, of course, I was at home and a
buddy called and told me about it.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
He came by. Anyway, we drank beer.

Speaker 10 (15:20):
I wound up on the front page of the second
section of the Gadsden Times because we went to donate blood. And,
by the way, today is my late mother's birthday as well.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
As Bear Bryant's.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Happy birthday to your late mother, whose name was?

Speaker 9 (15:38):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
What was her name?

Speaker 9 (15:44):
Why I can't hear you, I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
What was her name?

Speaker 5 (15:48):
Beth Hickman.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Beth what?

Speaker 5 (15:52):
Let me turn the speaker off until I can hear
you better. How's that?

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Much better.

Speaker 10 (16:00):
Ah, excellent.

Speaker 5 (16:01):
What were you asking? My mother, Mary Elizabeth Hickman.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
And Paul Bear Bryant's birthday's today?

Speaker 5 (16:07):
Yes, sir.

Speaker 10 (16:08):
And by the way, get this. When I was a kid,
it's a long story as to why my dad had
to go back to graduate school, but we were in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Dad was finishing up his master's, and he messed his
neck up almost rolling over on me in the crib,
if you can kind of imagine that, which was beside
the bed in their apartment.

Speaker 5 (16:30):
Well, there.

Speaker 10 (16:31):
My folks have me out somewhere, other drugstore in Tuscaloosa
and coach Brian is in there and he sees my dad.
It was kind of a big guy with a neck
brace on and he thought he was one of his players.
So he came over and then he saw mom and me.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
And anyway, he did like, he probably poked me in
the stomach or something.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Huh?

Speaker 1 (16:54):
I'll be damned. It's also my niece, Ruchira Podali Reback.
It's her birthday. She was born 9-11-1990, which would make
her 36 today, mother of two. And it is her sister,
Shilpika's husband, Kyle Hazelwood. It's his birthday as well. So

(17:18):
she and her brother-in-law, so my niece and I call
him my nephew, both have a birthday today as well.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Well, happy birthday to all your relatives.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Thank you, John. I appreciate it.

Speaker 10 (17:28):
And by the way, may I tell you something kind
of cool? A rock and roll story that you've never heard,
I bet. Most rock and roll story ever.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Yeah, hold on for a second, because I got to
get these nice people on. We got somebody on the
black line. We always move them to the front.

Speaker 10 (17:39):
Darian?

Speaker 5 (17:41):
Yes, sir. How you doing, Mr.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
Berry?

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Are you Darian in a wheelchair?

Speaker 5 (17:45):
Yes, sir, the paralyzed guy.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
The mortician?

Speaker 5 (17:49):
Paralyzed mortician, yes, sir.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
So I got an email from a woman named Jana Giamalva.
She's a socialite realtor in the city of Houston. And
she told me that I think when her mother or
her father died, that you sounded like the guy that
showed up to retrieve the body.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
Oh, yeah, that's possible.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
Yeah, in Tanglewood. But it sounded like you.

Speaker 5 (18:17):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (18:19):
Yeah, I remember that, I mean, you know, Tanglewood is
a nice neighborhood. Yeah, I remember going over there. It's
been a little time ago, but yeah, I probably did
handle her love more, yes.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Oh, what'd you call that one, man?

Speaker 11 (18:35):
Oh, pretty much, I'm trying to get this Tallarico guy.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
Figure it out, man.

Speaker 11 (18:42):
Is he running for Texas Senate or is he trying
to be the idiot of the United States?

Speaker 1 (18:47):
You know, you end up in these positions not by accident.
He has been groomed for a very long time, has Tallarico.
And he has been through his own boot camp. Tallarico

(19:07):
arrived at this point, which is why they're putting so
much money behind him. They didn't put this kind of
money behind Colin Allred. Yeah, exactly. to say that God

(19:37):
is non-binary, children should be transitioned. He's fought against it.
He's tried to take guns. He beat meat or whatever
he said about his whole thing. He has done thing
after thing after thing to show California, look, I'm not
afraid of these Texans. I will say the craziest, most
California fruits and nuts and freaks thing, and you can

(20:00):
trust it. I'll never forget you. You pay my bills.
You put me there. I'll do it. And now he's
having to account for that for the very first time,
and that's why he's backtracking.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
I'm confused as to why he's going so national. It's like, why?
I mean, the race is here, man.

Speaker 11 (20:16):
You're saying stuff that is not catering to anyone here.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
I was told. I need to look it up. I
was told by somebody that I trust because she's a
great researcher, very smart, and not one to be fooled
by the Internet. And she told me that they were
running an ad in Seattle, which means they're probably running
it in other liberal markets. For him, a fundraising ad

(20:42):
that they were running. They were trying to get the
people of Seattle. What do you call somebody from Seattle? Seattleite?
I don't know. I actually don't know. They were raising
money for him in Seattle to be the third California
senator in Texas. I mean, you think about that. We've
never seen anything like this. We've never seen where a

(21:04):
guy's running in Texas with values and money coming from
California other than Beto O'Rourke.

Speaker 5 (21:10):
That's crazy.

Speaker 9 (21:12):
That's crazy.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
He's trying to California our Texas.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
That's exactly what they're doing. I mean, it's real. I mean,
they mean it. These people mean it. And it's interesting. Yeah.
I guess we have seen it. Roy Cullen, a Texas
oil man, was very concerned with communism. And Roy Cullen

(21:38):
became the biggest funder, financer, contributor to Joseph McCarthy. And
so it's not absolutely unheard of. But boy, I can't
imagine when Texans understand what's going on, that they're going
to tolerate this. I really can't believe that would be

(21:58):
the case. Darien, thank you for calling, brother.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
Richard. Yes, sir.

Speaker 10 (22:02):
Oh, hold on, sir.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Richard, you're up.

Speaker 5 (22:04):
Go ahead. Hey, Zarr.

Speaker 6 (22:06):
When I think of September 11th, my father-in-law, who I
just called dad, his birthday is today, 79th birthday. The founder,
Richard Wyman, founder of RW Machine, a machine shop in
North Houston, but that was the first thing to call back.
The next thing I want to tell you, a quick story.
I'm in outside sales over here in College Station, Bryan.

(22:29):
And as good as I am in sales, I told
my boss, I said, I'm even better at collections. So
he gave me a list of accounts to go do
some collections. Well, this one particular place I went to
yesterday was a daycare facility. And I walk in, and
the lady– and I try to hand the lady my card.
I drop the card, and I tell her, hey, here's–

(22:52):
she goes, how's it going? I said, well, that's too great.
You know, we need to– we have some outstanding bills,
but maybe there was some oversight here. And I was
polite to her because I know how to– the first.

Speaker 5 (23:01):
Aid, you always be polite. I know how to do collections.

Speaker 6 (23:04):
And, you know, so maybe there's some oversight here, so
if we can get a check or if you want to–
I could take a credit card either way. She goes, well,
I've got to get the owner.

Speaker 5 (23:12):
I said, that's fine.

Speaker 6 (23:13):
Just– She goes, I'll text the owner. I said, do
you want me to text her directly the bill? That
might even make it more efficient. And that was the
extent of the conversation.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
I walk out.

Speaker 6 (23:22):
Three hours later, I get a call.

Speaker 12 (23:30):
There is a video making its way around the Internet
of Gayle King being shocked to learn that the holdout juror,
the only man in the 12-member jury.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
Is black. And she said, oh, oh, let me process
that for a minute. Because how could a black man
want to prosecute this woman who murdered her kids? Because,
you know, blacks, we're not we're not for prosecuting crimes,
which is why blacks are the primary victim of black

(24:06):
created crimes is because snitches get stitches. And there is
this ridiculous belief that. That you don't prosecute criminals because
prosecuting is what the white people do. Sending people to prison.
You don't want to send black people to prison even
if they kill, murder, maim, rape, carjack a black person.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
Correct. Correct.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
You don't want to do that. And that's why you
end up with what you end up with. Many black
people who live through misery is a misery of their
own making because of bad decisions and cultural repetition like this,
behavioral repetition like this.

Speaker 8 (24:45):
It's horrible.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
We don't end up in most of the situations where
we are in this country by accident. We end up
here by choice. When you choose to allow Mamdani into
this country and you choose to allow him to run
around and say these horrible things about 9-11, he lied
about his aunt who was supposedly the victim after 9-11,

(25:09):
and you just worry after Muslims attack this country. you
worry that Muslims are now somehow going to be criticized
or targeted or whatever else, which, of course, never happened.
What did happen is that Muslims who hate this country
so badly and tell us how bad they've had it
since 9-11 have come here in massive numbers, located in pockets,

(25:35):
and run for office and filed lawsuits and built businesses
and done all these things, all the while telling us
how awful our country is. with a bunch of white
people running around. And to their credit, blacks don't do this,
with a bunch of white people running around agreeing with them.
And then you start electing people like Mamdani to office,
and now you give him a massive platform. And somehow

(25:55):
along the way, you've got a lot of white people
who are worried that the Muslims are the victims of
all this. One of the greatest jokes Norm Macdonald ever told,
and the great thing about Norm Macdonald is he didn't
explain his joke. He left you to figure it out,
and some people never did.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
I can't say my friend's name, but he said his
biggest fear is that ISIS or some terrorist group like
that would get a hold of a dirty bomb and
explode it over a major city within the United States

(26:34):
and kill tens of millions of people because then The
blowback against innocent Muslims would be absolutely terrible.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
Yes, that's true.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
That's true. All right, let's do some jokes. He's making
fools of them and they don't even know it because
they're so eager to play along. Richard, finish your story,
my man. polite to the lady. I was polite to
the lady and left. And three hours later, I get

(27:10):
a call from my boss said, Hey, don't go back to, uh,
to that daycare.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
Uh, we're just, I'm just going to write off these, those.
I said, Oh, okay.

Speaker 6 (27:19):
I didn't ask why. So this morning I asked him, Hey, what,
what happened there? Well, she called and said that you
made her cry and that you spoke Spanish. And I
told him, well, if I spoke Spanish and she got
in a video.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
And she got said, I said, good.

Speaker 5 (27:30):
I want to see. Cause if I spoke Spanish, uh.

Speaker 6 (27:33):
Um, then we need to get me in a white
jacket that has straps because I have multiple, uh, personality disorder.
And my other personality is a, a pasty white, fat, bald, uh,
Spanish speaking guy that I don't know about.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
So we'll need to admit me somewhere.

Speaker 8 (27:50):
My boss, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (27:51):
He didn't find that very funny, but I thought it
was funny anyways. But, uh, so that was my collections call. Um,
he's just going to write it off. And I, I
got another one due today and he said, well, just
be polite. I said, I was polite. And I didn't
speak Spanish unless I had multiple, like I said.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
How much are you collecting on each account?

Speaker 6 (28:10):
So these are small accounts. This is a window cleaning business,
so this is small. That was $ 210. That was two cleanings.
It's a pretty big daycare that has maybe 50, 60 windows.
That was two times I didn't pay, and that was
like a year ago. I don't know why they wait
this long to try to collect. Maybe they tried via email.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
This is what I don't understand. Y'all don't collect while
you're there?

Speaker 6 (28:32):
They usually do, but not always. So when you get
to the size that the college station, this particular window
cleaning company is, I don't think they collect every time.
When they're a small business, they're not so small anymore,
so they probably maybe have a record to charge. They're
going to scan the QR code and go on the

(28:54):
site and do it.

Speaker 8 (28:55):
But today I have a $ 550 debt that I'm.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
At a Mediterranean, I'm not going to say the name,
maybe I should, a Mediterranean restaurant here in College Station
that owes $ 540- something. And I'm on phase four. I have
five phases of collections. So I'm on phase number four.
I did phase one, two, and three where I was
very nice to the manager and very polite. I said,

(29:21):
I know it's just an oversight. All we have to
do is get this paid and everything's good and we
could come back to clean your windows again. And he said, oh, yeah,
I'm going to get it paid.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
I'm going to get it.

Speaker 6 (29:30):
Next time I went, he was like, oh, I can't believe.
So I know, you know, I know the routine. I said,
I can't believe it either. I know you guys are reputable.
It's just an oversight, I'm sure. it's got to be
an oversight. But do you want me to send it
directly to him? So that's my phase two.

Speaker 8 (29:45):
That didn't work.

Speaker 6 (29:46):
Phase three was yesterday when Biden was a different manager.
I said, hey, the other manager was going to take
care of something. So, you know, being quick on my feet,
I said, Ed, so I'm sure it's just an oversight
by him. So if you could get this through real quick,
we'll take care of it. Now, phase four is today.
The old manager is back today at 11 is what

(30:06):
that manager told me.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
And the owner is supposed to be there.

Speaker 6 (30:09):
So now I'll get to confront in phase four the owner.
So let's see if I get lucky in phase. You know,
but I've kind of got my phraseology down for that.
I know this is just an oversight. I always start
with that. I know it is. So let's just, you know,
you give me the credit card and make it easy
for you not to worry about this anymore. I'll put
your credit card on our cloud, on our secured cloud site.

(30:30):
We don't see the number. And just after every cleaning,
we'll charge it. And everyone's happy. You're happy.

Speaker 5 (30:35):
I'm happy.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
Everyone's happy.

Speaker 6 (30:37):
And I'll be smiling the whole time I'm.

Speaker 5 (30:39):
Saying that, of course.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
At what level do you bring violence?

Speaker 8 (30:46):
No, phase five.

Speaker 6 (30:48):
Usually will be, I'll use a bluff.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
A good bluff of, hey, I don't...
