(00:23):
all right, as it says inPsalm's thirty joy comes in the morning.
But I'll tell you what it wasone heck of a night as well.
There was no weeping that endured mygoodness? Was it good? Heavy?

warm a witty war? When thiswar she is away? He club a

(01:30):

(02:20):

(03:07):
d good, happy good, happyday, Oh happy day, Oh

(04:33):
habitay? When those world waity warlwhen those war three? Was the way
he needed to h the habby day, Oh long, happy good. Last

(05:12):
night was the best night of apolitical convention in my lifetime. And there
wasn't even anything close. I wasso fired up. We were working through
the night as a team collaborates inthis and this, and I had declared

(05:35):
how we were going to run theshow today, and the guys were going
but we're not gonna do no,just do it. It hadn't even crossed
my mind. It was Friday. It hadn't even crossed my mind. How
well that was going to dovetail withour Friday show. No calls, No,

(05:57):
We're going Hulk Hero Hulk Hogan,Real American Hero Trump Audio. We're
this morning in the uh light ofday. The boys said, Uh,
not really fair enough to let folkscall in and share their own perspective.
So we will. We will makea mix of the two seven one three

(06:19):
nine nine nine one thousand. Whatdid you love about last night? That's
the only thing I want to talkabout. Seven one three nine nine one
thousand to get us started as wealways do. Courtesy the greatest executive producer
and all the land, Chatticoni Nakanishi. Here we can special report. We
are coming on the air live tonight. Moments after shots have rung out at

(06:44):
a rally where President Trump was addressingthe crowd, I really see something that
said, take a look at whathappened. Trump security detail lifting him up
from the ground as he raises hisfist, his ear and face bloody,
gesturing to the crowd. Raises hisfist, his ear and face bloody,

(07:09):
gesturing to the crowd. I don'trecall being this angry in my life.
It's the kind of anger you havethat isn't because of one incident or one
statement or one act. It isa boiling anger. Ladies and gentlemen.
The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Michael Whatley of North Carolina, this

(07:31):
convention, welcome to order. Pleasewelcome the next President of the United States,
Robert o'donald j term. We're effectivelyrun in this country via the Democrats,
via our corporate oligarchs, by abunch of childless cat ladies who are
miserable at their own lives and thechoices that they've made, and so they

(07:51):
want to make the rest of thecountry miserable too. And this convention tells
one hell of a story, thestory of America. And I love it
that the union representing Texas utility workersare urging people to leave linemen alone.
This comes after multiple reports of violenceand someone legally pulling out an AK forty
seven at a crew. We've hadguys have guns pulled on them. I

(08:15):
had a crew out of sugar Land. I had guys have AK forty seven
standing across the street front. Iam perfectly fine. If a person pulls
a gun on the lineman with someoneshooting and killing them, that is a
deadly threat, period, end ofstory. This is not complicated to me.
That's what I hope would happen.Hi am I sticking to? Who

(08:46):
am I sticking to? With someMichael Berry? Michael Berry, Yeah,
I do enjoy your show, mykids. It feels like the month of
me since I had the break sometimeto tell myself when I had all I

(09:07):
could take, Friday's come in justlike that, It's gonna come back and
round. Gotta keep offer on hima keen Let trouble the grown I bet
even the feel I feel him not? Then do book the kids back singing?
Damn a tour Peters, Oh littleTeitos Fridays here again. You know,

(09:35):
our folks have trouble celebrating. Exhilarationdoes not come easily to us.
And when we do, I noticea number of you. Just the moment
things seem to be going great, you look around and go, I bet
WHOOPI Goldberg, and I bet JakeTapper. I bet I bet all those

(09:56):
other people. They're gonna have toagree with me. The Trump's the greatest
ever. Let me go run andsee what they said. And they say
he spoke too long. It's terrible, it's horrible, and then they spiral
out of control again. Can Ilet other people define you? Their tears
should quench your thirst, because theywere sad last night. Even brit Hume

(10:22):
at Fox News, Well I gotTrump, got over here and just talk
too long. Oh great, britt, real high energy. Oh and I'm
not around these things for a longtime. In the longest speech summer,
Just long Man was shot five daysago. They impeached him twice for no

(10:43):
good reason. They've dragged him tocourt in multiple states. They tried to
bankrupt him, they convicted him ofa felony, They raided his home,
and they allowed him to be shotin the face while another man was murdered
right beside him. They denied itwas a shooting. He's been through hell.
Oh no, he just had Hetalked too long and it just blew

(11:05):
the moment. Kamala Harrison just blewit. No, he didn't blow anything,
He didn't blow anything. Go tobed. If you're done, go
to bed. I wanted him totalk for four more years. It was
fantastic, absolutely wonderful. And youcan't tell me otherwise because I won't hear
it. Oh the sound of myhappiness as to how well things went?

(11:31):
All right? We will work yourcalls and some of the amazing, amazing
library of audio we built from lastnight, from Hulk Hogan to of course,
the president's speech and so many otherthings, including an epic closing to
the RNC. If you heard it, you already know. If you didn't,

(11:56):
I'll share with you the story behindit and that glorious, glorious peace
they chose for it. But fornow it's open line Friday. I want
you to quickly get to the point. Okay, here's the deal. I'm
doing great, and you're doing great. No long stories, get right to
it. What did you love aboutlast night? I don't want to hear

(12:18):
the grumpy about the liberals will bemurden. Don't do it, don't even
don't don't spoil my joy. Whatdid you love about last night? What
hit you? What did you feel? What was it? Were you proud
of your country? Why? Whatwas said that you haven't heard said?
What was visualized that you hadn't seenin a long time? What gave you

(12:39):
comfort or joy or pride? Sevennine one thousand. We will start with
Doug Doug, Earl Michael Berry showgo ahead. What I loved about last
night was it a man got thegovernment had tried to kill, stood up
and stuck his finger in there eyes. And I haven't seen that kin of

(13:01):
excitement since nineteen ninety two when Iwas driving for President Bush at his motor
cap. That's what I've got tosay. In nineteen ninety two, Pat
Buchanan gave a speech at the RepublicanConvention. Pat Buchanan challenged George H.
W. Bush in the primary becauseGeorge Bush, like his son after him,

(13:24):
and like the Bush wing of theRepublican Party, is a warmonger,
and he is supported by the warprofiteers, and Pap Buchanan gave a speech.
Buchanan would go on to be theReform Party candidate, and Donald Trump
would lift a number of his ideas, he would mold them into his own,
just as Make America Great Again wasfirst Reagans. Some of the Pat

(13:48):
Buchanan, We're not going to involveourselves in the wars of the world so
that munitions manufacturers can get rich andour boys can be killed. Listen to
this speech that Pat, you canonGavi in ninety two, and tell me
you didn't hear echoes of it lastnight. My friends, these people are
our people. They don't read AdamSmith or Edmund Burke, but they come

(14:11):
from the same schoolyards and the sameplaygrounds in towns as we came from.
They share our beliefs and our convictions, our hopes and our dreams. These
are the conservatives of the heart. They are our people, and we need
to reconnect with them. We needto let them know we know how bad

(14:33):
they're hurting. They don't expect miraclesof us, but they need to know
we care. They were the people. There were the people, my friends
that they were the people of hayFork, the tiny town up in California's

(14:56):
Trinity Alps, the town that isnow under a sentence of death because a
federal judge has set aside nine millionacres for the habitat of the spotted owl,
forgetting about the habitat of the menand women who live and work in
Hayfork. You know that kind ofYou can call it populist message, but

(15:26):
I think of it more as accessibleand real. When Mitt Romney spoke,
he either gave a message for hisfriends at the country club, or he
attempted to connect to the commoners whoclean his house with things like I like

(15:48):
it here, the trees are theright height. What in the hell does
that mean? You're not real?I went wrong the Israel. He just
can't say to you how he reallyfeels and who he really is because it
doesn't connect with real Americans. Lastnight was the story of America. Hunter.

(16:14):
You're on the Michael Berry Show.Go ahead, sir, let's be
reals. Are Hulk Hogan tearing hisshirt and half and screaming trouble Mania One
Wild Brother was probably the greatest RNCmoment we'll see in our lives. Our
lives. I cannot disagree. Icannot disagree for a number of reasons.

(16:37):
I think it particularly resonated with peoplewho are who are tired of the boring
speeches by the Jeb Bushes. Theyare tired of the Mike Pence Republicans.
That's what this is about. Peopleare tired of the guy who got his

(16:59):
hair cut shorten, his wing tipspolished, in his perfect, perfect navy
blue suit with the pinstripes and redtie and his flag lapel, saying we're
here because Merca's greatness, and weare not going to respond in kind to

(17:22):
petty attacks. We must be betterthan that puts them on the face.
That's what Haul Coogan is all about. That was he went at Orison,
ripping that shirt off. That wasglorious. The Michael Berry show everything you
need and most everything you want. We're up, run my old brother trouble.

(18:02):
Media rule again, the media bringagain all three. The giant falls
into the ocean. That's my nexttwo opponents fallings in Florida. Tend him
so well. Donald Trump and allthe hag of Adiacs put it is Donald

(18:25):
Trump hang from to the top ofthe Trump Plaza with his family under his
other arm, as they say,to the bottom of us say thank god
Donald Trump's halt of Adiac. He'llknow enough till I go off his materialistic
possessions. Hang on to the licensekids, dog cattle with his life all
the way to safety. The Donalds. If something happens, you run out

(18:45):
of gas and all those little hulkmaniacs run out of gas, just hang
on to the largest back in theworld, and our dog paddle us back.
Struggle falls us the safety. Ohthank you, ho cog and let's
get back to action. Wow,unreal Donald Trump for one of the halt
there he is right there, halkermedia, you really think so? I'm a

(19:07):
sout promoting WrestleMania four in nineteen eightyeight, which was held at the Trump
Plaza in Atlantic City. To thephone lines, we go to hear from
the good people across the fruited plain. Kim, you're on the Michael Berry

(19:30):
Show. Go ahead, sweetheart. So two things. I thought it was
wonderful that he talked about God duringhis life, his Corey fire helmet.
Kim, You're gonna talk right intothe phone. I'm not hearing you very
well? Okay, can much better? Can you hear me? I can
hear that when you talked about God'sduring his life and the other was kissed

(19:53):
the fire helmet of three? Canyou hear me? Yeah, I'm processing.
I don't have the line in frontof it. This is one of
those moments where I've over prepared.I didn't go to sleep till about three
because I was up listening and relistening and making notes. And before me

(20:18):
when I got to the studio thatI had over prepared because I kept asking
for things. But I couldn't findit because I have so many files open
with things that I wanted to makesure I talked about. Yeah, I
sensed in Donald Trump a different manand a better man. I think that

(20:41):
our journey, our scars, areslings and arrows that we suffer make us
better, and we can't know thatuntil we go through that fire. And
I sensed a man that had awisdom more than human. I sensed a
man who understood that we are allon borrowed time. But he understood that

(21:03):
this very well could have been amoment without him there, and that God
didn't spare his life, that Godhad has a plan for him, and
that this was part of that. And I really think that washed over him,
and you could see that. Isaw him smile in ways that I
hadn't seen, just kind of abelly laugh reaction. And I sensed that

(21:30):
here was a guy who this ishis last convention as a candidate, and
he knows it, and he's hada wonderful run, and he has a
big job ahead of him. Andhe felt the love in the room and
he felt the love at home. And it's real. I mean, this
isn't scripted or produced. This isreal, and you saw that the moment

(21:52):
of kissing Corey Comparatore's helmet with thisfire jacket on the stage maybe the most
powerful imagery involving and forgive the word, it's a theater term. It's not
meant to be insulting, involving aprop, involving an item on a stage

(22:14):
in that manner, rather than justspeeches. I just was moved beyond belief
this morning and afternoon, friends andfamily, and I'm sure now a lot
of well wishers are gathering to honorCorey Comparatory and to pay tribute. At

(22:38):
that time, in that way,America needed that. America needs to wrap
our arms around our veterans, ourcops after the BLM George Floyd debacle and
nonsense and monstrosity, our firefighters, our fathers, our children, our mothers.

(22:59):
It was perfect. It was justperfect. I can't describe it any
other way. Robert, you're onMichael Berry Show. Go ahead, sir,
Good morning, Michael. I justwanted to share a few thoughts that
I had on the speech last night. The most moving part to me was
when Trump on stage, when hewas talking about the attempted assassination on his

(23:23):
wife said, I don't deserve tobe here. The crowd immediately started a
chant yes, you do, yes, and then he Trump's strategic pausing in
speeches is why he's amazing to watch. He pauses, and he says,
but for the grace of God,I am I just lost it at that

(23:45):
point. It was a divine actof God. That is why the president
is still standing. That is whythere's still hope for America. And it
was all captured in that amazing moment. But I mean, just what I've

(24:07):
said it to several people. Youcouldn't You couldn't script the authenticity of this
convention and that moment and that President'sreaction. You couldn't script him. We've
never seen him cry, but we'veWe've been about as close as we're going
to. Michael Berry, it's timefor a change. This administration can't come

(24:45):
close to solving the problems. We'redealing with. Very tough, very fierce
people. They're fierce people, andwe don't have fierce people. We have
people that are a lot less thanfierce, except when it comes to cheating
on elections and a couple of otherthings. Then their fears bend their fears.

(25:11):
Nathan writes when Trump said, anyoneholding American hostages better release them now
before I get in the White House, or there will be hell to pay.
I'm gonna cook a thick Rabbi steaktonight and watch the speech again,
because it was that freaking awesome. That's from Nathan Mary Wrights. I loved

(25:36):
the pastor from Detroit, the MillimeterMiracle. We'll play that on the evening
show. We've got so much audiowe probably won't get to it all,
but we will. We will doso, Sam Wrights. What I loved
about last night, Most everyone acknowledgedGod's hand on this movement back to one
nation under God. If my people, who are called by my name will

(26:02):
humble themselves and pray and seek myface and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven andwill forgive their sin and heal their mind.
Second Chronicles seven fourteen, perfect versefor the day. Sam, Thank

(26:22):
you for sending it, sir.Let's go to Heleen Joe Ellen, you're
on the Michael Berry Show. Yes, Michael, When with so many prayers
going up for Presidents Trump, withall that he's been through and all the
slings and arrows, God tells youto be still, Just be still,
be still, well, thank God, absolutely be still, because the evil

(26:48):
will eat their own and you willhave joy in the morning, and the
joy the teeth and the comfort thatI feel today. The world is not
lost. God is still in control, and I'm so thankful to be saved
President Trump, and I pray forhim every day. It's unfair what's happening,
and evil is eating their own,and I thank God for that.

(27:12):
How a beautiful Daynachael, you too, sweetheart, Thank you for the call
a What a perfect message, Whata perfect message. Psalms forty six'
ten. Be still and know thatI am God. I will be exalted
among the nations. I will beexalted in the earth. Be still and

(27:38):
know that I am God. Weget so busy, phones buzzing, text
messages, emails, meetings, thingsthat occupy our mind, but they don't
nourish our mind. They keep usbusy because in the busyness, we don't

(28:03):
have time to think, we don'thave time to worry, we don't have
time to prioritize. We're just busybeing busy, and somehow that's supposed to
be a good thing. We're busywe're running around. We're hairried at all
times. Too many practices, toomany events, too many rehearsals, too

(28:30):
many things we commit to that wedon't have the time to do, and
so we never stop and enjoy anyof them. We really just want to
be at home, tack our shoesoff, put our feet up, stop
and think for a moment. Toobusy running to pick up this and be
there for that and do this, none of which will minterre in the grand

(28:52):
scheme of things. Be still andknow that I am god too busy to
give real attention to things that reallymatter, to do less and achieve more,
because we have to be so darnedbusy all the time, planning events,

(29:14):
going to events, sending messages, responding to messages, responding to messages.
As to why we haven't responded toa message because of this, this
instant gratification. Need I sent themessage. I need to see it turn
bold on my screen so I knowthat person has responded. I need to

(29:36):
hear the whistle or the ding ding, or whatever else tells you there's a
message, because that means somebody elsesends you a communication you were thought about.
They need your response, They needyour engagement, because God forbid we
ever actually stop and be still andbe prayer, and be grateful, and

(30:03):
be thoughtful, and be who wewere put on this earth to be a
husband, a wife, a mother, a father, a mentor a leader.
But instead, what are we doingallowing ourselves to be pulled in every

(30:25):
different direction for things that are meaninglessinstead of things that are substantive, Going
into every happy hour, every meetingthat someone asks for, because if you
want this account, you got tocome to this meeting, driving through the

(30:45):
traffic, weaving, stopping and starting, and texting at the same time,
trying to do all of it,running late, calling to tell we're late,
trying to get there to get part, and none of it. In
none of it do we give ourbest. We're just a hamster on a

(31:08):
wheel spinning away, can't figure outhow to get off of it, spinning
away when it means nothing. Andwhat we're not doing is nourishing the things

(31:29):
that manner, planting and harvesting whatwe were put on this earth for.
Be still and know that I amGod. We spend our whole life getting
ready to live
