Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Michael Barry Show. After spending the recent past propping
Kamala up, CNN finally admits the Harris momentum is a
lot less than people think.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
I think there's all this talk of all this Harris momentum.
Maybe there's a slight bit of momentum, but I would
argue it's actually a little bit smaller than folks think.
So pre Biden dropping out, look, Trump was up by
two over Harris. We look at the polls now this week,
what do we see? We see Trump is up by
one over Harris. The massive change is actually the change
of candidates, because prior to Biden dropping out, he trailed
(00:35):
by six points among these in these exact same polls
that we look at here, where Harris was only trailing
by two points. So the movement is actually from Biden
to Harris, not actually Harris herself necessarily moving.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
About a year ago, at this time, the media was
asking Kamala Harris not why she was such a phenomenal
cultural phenomenon, but about her having the lowest approval rating
of any vice president in history.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
There are reports to say that you have the lowest
approval rating of any vice president.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
I'm curious how much of a role, if any, that
you feel race and gender play in that.
Speaker 5 (01:11):
Well, there are polls that also said I have great
approval ratings.
Speaker 6 (01:14):
I think the point that has to be made is
that there are attempts to create distractions away from the
accomplishments of our administration.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
When Kamala Harris was still quote the most liberal member
of the Senate end quote, she openly talked about raising
taxes on everyone.
Speaker 6 (01:36):
We've got to increase the corporate tax, right. We also
have to increase taxes for the top one percent, and
that part of that is going to be about repealing
that tax build they just passed and also looking at
a state tax is it going to have to go up?
Speaker 1 (01:50):
President Trump has called Joe Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan the
most embarrassing moment in American history. Remember when Kamala Harris
was on CNN's State of the Union and she said
she was the last person in the room during the
(02:10):
planning of that fiasco.
Speaker 7 (02:14):
Listen, President Biden always said that he wants you to
be the last person in the room, particularly for big decisions,
just as he was for President Obama. He just made
a really big decision Afghanistan. Yes, were you the last
person in the room?
Speaker 8 (02:28):
Yes? And you feel comfortable? I do.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Joy Read is the biggest race baiting hypocrite in the
leftist media. She's a fool and a clown, and this
cut may be one of the better examples of her hypocrisy.
I don't want to say it's the best because there
are so many. I want you to listen to her
asking Joe Biden about his commitment to having a black
(02:54):
woman as VP in twenty twenty, and then she calls
out anyone who calls her out or who calls Kamala
a DEI hire. You can't say you have to hire
a black woman? Will you do that? Yes? And when
she's hired, say she wasn't just hired because she was
(03:14):
a black woman. We got the receipts.
Speaker 9 (03:17):
Crazy, Are you committed to naming a black woman as
your vice presidential running mane? What makes this so ugly
is that it reveals a truth that is clearly broadly
held within Republican circles that white men, by definition, when
they have a job, earned it and deserve it, and
anybody but a white man is a DEI hire.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
A Trump superpat released I don't know. A week or
so ago, a new campaign ad calling on all Americans
to reject the San Francisco radical that is Kamala Harris.
Don't tell me jd Vance is weird. This woman is
weird and radical and dangerous.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
I am Kamala Harris and her you're considered the most
liberal United States senator. Well, actually, that nonpartisan gov Track
has rated you as the most liberal senator.
Speaker 8 (04:13):
You have any plans to visit the border. We are
going to the border. We've been to the border.
Speaker 7 (04:18):
You haven't been to the border, and.
Speaker 8 (04:20):
I haven't been to Europe.
Speaker 6 (04:22):
I am in favor of saying that we're not going
to treat people who are undocumented across the borders criminals.
Speaker 8 (04:27):
That's correct, That is correct.
Speaker 6 (04:28):
A lot of the signs that the rawal you just
held were people standing there.
Speaker 8 (04:31):
Saying abolish ice. Yeah, is that a position that you
agree with? We need to probably think about starting from scratch.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
So you support giving universal healthcare medicare for all to
people who are in this country illegally.
Speaker 6 (04:45):
I'm opposed to any policy that would be denied in
our country, any human being, public health period.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
Are you for.
Speaker 8 (04:54):
Defunding the police?
Speaker 6 (04:55):
How are you defining to fund the police.
Speaker 8 (04:57):
It's actually wrong and backward to think that.
Speaker 6 (05:01):
More police officers will create more safety.
Speaker 8 (05:04):
We need to get rid of money bail. Convicted in
prison like the Boston Marathon bomber on death row, people
who are convicted of sexual assolvation be able to vote.
I think we should have that conversation.
Speaker 6 (05:16):
I am prepared to get rid of the filibuster to
pass a green of deal.
Speaker 8 (05:20):
I have always supported medicare for all.
Speaker 6 (05:23):
I was very happy to sign on to Bernie's villa,
and I give Bernie Frankly a lot of credit.
Speaker 8 (05:27):
There's no question I'm in favor of banning craft. Do
you ban plastic straws? I think we should.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
In twenty nineteen, Kamala Harris mocked the idea that terrorists
would use the southern border to gain access to our country.
She mocked this idea.
Speaker 8 (05:47):
This is irresponsible.
Speaker 6 (05:49):
It's a height of irresponsibility for the commander in chief
to suggest that we have to build a wall across
our southern border because there are Harris who are trying
to invade the country.
Speaker 8 (06:05):
It couldn't be farther from the truth.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Since the Biden Harris administration border crisis, and she was
the borders are. We know of at least four hundred
terrorists who have crossed over during their presidency, including this man.
Remember him is.
Speaker 6 (06:25):
By the way, if you are to smart enough, you
would know who I am.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
But you are not smart enough to know who I am?
Speaker 6 (06:32):
But soon are you gonna know who I am?
Speaker 1 (06:34):
But wow, very easy that the entitlement, entitlement.
Speaker 9 (06:38):
No belt.
Speaker 6 (06:39):
I'm much better about that.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
The media has worked over time denying that Kamala Harris
was in charge of the border for the Biden Harris administration.
Speaker 7 (06:48):
Just lie.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
If she wasn't, the borders are now? Why was she
in El Paso holding a press conference about the border
in June twenty.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
One, Whether it was when I met with children who
are unaccompanied miners, or I met with leaders who have
been on the ground in El Paso for many, many
years doing work that is directly about supporting and interacting
with folks who are immigrating to the United States and
(07:22):
who are crossing this border. The President and I are
absolutely committed to ensuring that our immigration system is orderly
and humane, and I do believe that we are making
progress in that regard. It is here in our Castle
that the return to Mexico policy from the previous administration
(07:44):
was implemented. We have seen the disaster that resulted from that,
and working on a comprehensive approach, that is, our administrations
resolved toward the overall issue, which is root causes, and
then deal with what's happening at the border, and it
boots on the ground here at the border, implementing reforms
(08:07):
within the Department of Homeland Security that are clearly having
an effect of expediting in a fair injudicious way the
folks who are arriving.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
She was asked at that same press conference if she
had met Republicans about the border issue. It's a majority
Republican state, Texas a GOP.
Speaker 6 (08:30):
Leader, I am meeting with a lot of folks, and
the work that we have begun is the work that
is going to be ongoing. There is no question, and
I said this from the very beginning, that our approach
to this issue.
Speaker 8 (08:45):
Has to be with a commitment to.
Speaker 6 (08:48):
A long term investment, and it has to be a
commitment to consistency.
Speaker 8 (08:54):
The United States has to be consistent.
Speaker 6 (08:57):
There were times when we were more and we saw
good results. Less engaged, and we can see where the
work and the partnerships then deteriorate. So I am committed
to ensuring that we engage in an active way on
the root causes, on addressing the cause and effect, and
(09:19):
also being partners in the Western hemisphere, understanding that we
have a responsibility and if we ignore that responsibility, it
will visit itself upon us in a very domestic way.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
In twenty twenty one, MSNBC Stephanie Rule even pointed out
that Kamala Harris had gone missing at the southern border.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
How about a message from our vice president?
Speaker 8 (09:43):
Where is she?
Speaker 3 (09:43):
She was supposed to be in charge of all of
these migration issues, going to those northern triangle countries. That's
obviously not Haiti. That was one of her first international
trips with the message do not come here illegally.
Speaker 8 (09:56):
People aren't listening. What is she saying now?
Speaker 10 (09:59):
Well, I haven't heard a lot from the vice president.
Of course, you point out she was focused on those
Northern Triangle countries. A lot of her work was in
Guatemala working with that government. A lot of the diplomacy,
which is what the Vice president was focused on, was
with Mexico. And essentially what we're seeing now is a
breakdown of that work with Mexico. Mexico for a while
was stopping a lot of migration coming from Guatemala into Mexico,
(10:21):
keeping people from ever even reaching the US border. But
now Mexico became so overwhelmed with this particular migrant surge
that they were beyond capacity, and we were seeing Mexico
essentially give up in some cases just allow buses through
their country to the US border, which is how so
many people got here so quickly.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Kamala Harris doesn't want to stop illegals from coming into
this country. She wants you to know that illegal aliens
who break our laws, that is, commit crimes to come
into our country, that they're not criminals.
Speaker 6 (10:56):
An undocumented immigrant is not a criminal. And we have
to correct course in this conversation on a persona seeing
fatheis no escreminade DZ where there.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
And I'll remind you it's not just illegal aliens that
Kamala Harris panders to. She wants to make sure she
gets the radical Islamic terrorists in there.
Speaker 7 (11:25):
Too, the courage to object when they use.
Speaker 11 (11:30):
That term radical Islamic terrorism ominated and the greatest victims
of terror, I mean.
Speaker 8 (11:46):
Also have the courage to reject.
Speaker 9 (11:48):
That term illegal alien.
Speaker 11 (11:54):
I have not seen some of the worst.
Speaker 10 (11:56):
Of criminal behavior.
Speaker 7 (11:58):
I have seen the.
Speaker 11 (11:59):
Worst of and undocris is not alone.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
