(00:00):
The Michael Barry Show. So youlet the Trump tax cuts expire, you
know, tax cuts for rich people, because we hate the rich people and
the corporations. But Joe Biden,he's fighting for the little man. All
right. Fox Business did a verygood report on Bidenomics and letting these tax

(00:25):
cuts expire and what this is goingto do to the middle class. This
is the kind of stuff we shouldbe talking about. The Democrats get us
dragged into abortion, abortion, abortion, and the pro life folks are only
too happy to do it. TheDemocrats get Democrats get us dragged into things

(00:47):
that the polls show we can't win. We might win here and there if
we could keep folks focused on areyou better or worse under Biden Versus Trump.
Once we win, we can focuson the things that we want to
get done. But you gotta winfirst. You gotta connect with people where

(01:12):
they are. Not everybody cares asmuch about what you care about and votes
on that basis. You got toshow people that your policies are good for
them. Get the government out ofyour back pocket, let you keep what

(01:33):
you earn. And by the way, when corporations enjoy tax cuts as well,
they hire more people they spend moremoney. Stop acting like the corporations
are our enemy. They're not anyway, Fox Business. And meanwhile, the
middle class bearing the financial run ofbiden Omics, and Jackie, you have

(01:57):
all the numbers for it, andthe numbers are not as hopeful as I
thought they would be. The newdata showing actually that the president's plan to
let Trump era tax cuts expire wouldraise taxes on most Americans. So who
specifically is going to see the taxincreases under President Biden? We are diving
into the real math here. Hereare some examples of three middle class Americans

(02:17):
and how much they make and ifthey have children or not. We're going
to start with a single filer withtwo kids making fifty two thousand dollars a
year. Under Biden's tax plan, this taxpayer would see a one thousand,
four hundred seventy four dollars and fiftycent tax increase. Now take a look
at a single fire filer no kids, making seventy five thousand dollars a year.

(02:39):
They're going to see an increase ofone thousand, seven hundred and seven
dollars seventy five cents. And thisone is the one that really gets me.
A married filer. So you've gota couple, three kids making two
hundred thousand dollars a year. Thiscouple is going to see an increase of
seven thousand, four hundred and fortynine dollars and fifty six cents when the

(03:00):
Trump tax cuts expire. And it'sa nuance here, because actions speak louder
than words. His words are goingto be I didn't raise taxes on people
making less than four hundred thousand dollarsa year. That is technically true,
no new taxes, But when youlet these tax cuts expire, and it
has this kind of impact on people, think about that last example. On
top of the taxes you pay,on top of the inflationary pressures, you're

(03:23):
feeling, you're going to shell outanother seventy five hundred dollars, where are
people going to get it from? That's like, effectively, you with three
kids, Well, you just madethis really close to home. All of
a sudden, I know, well, it's the goal here it is.
And you know what's crazy about itis is Biden's He's on the campaign trail
saying I'm doing all this because Iwant to get the rich, right.
The applause line is the rich, yes, but the people who pay for

(03:46):
his applause line are the middle class. Right, The family with three kids
is going to see eight thousand moredollars and the tax bill next year,
on top of the inflation and thegrocery bill. You're seeing a shrinking of
the middle class. That's what happens. And you know, sort of the
echo comments that we get from J. Powell yesterday coming off a FED day,
he always says, inflation and someof these tax increases hurt those who

(04:08):
can least afford to bear the bruntof these. That's why when we talk
about inflation is a tax or raisingtaxes on you know, a family of
five making two hundred thousand dollars,it's hurting those who can least afford to
do so at a time when inflationis so high that they are at least
afforded, at least equipped, youknow, to handle all of it.
And here in New York, Ilook at now, I look at my

(04:29):
receipts, the sales tax I'm payingin a restaurant, or if I'm buying
an article of clothing that's over acertain amount. I mean, they are
getting you from every literal angle, all right, you sat through the economics
discussion and the tax policy, andso as your reward as a treat did
your mother refer to as a treat? Treat was a big word and of
him. If y'all do what you'resupposed to do and who this is,

(04:49):
and you wait quietly in the car, did y'all ever have to wait in
the car? Remon, you're youngerthan I am. If you had to
wait in the car while your momwent into do something, we didn't leave
the ac running back then burned uptoo much gas. We couldn't afford it.
So you would crack the window orroll it all the way down,

(05:13):
and you would sit there, pantinglike a hot dog. And there you'd
be there. You'd be out inthe car, waiting on your mom.
And then you might very dramatically putyour head out in the window. You
remember the old days they'd have that, they'd have that little window. I
forget what they call that little windowthat you'd open, a little triangular window

(05:35):
up at the very front. You'dopen that, get little air going.
Man be so hot, and peopledon't my kids don't realize. I've collected
old cars for years, and sothey'll get in these old cars and they'll
start looking around for the button topush for the window to roll down.
They'll say, because some of themI won't don't have air condition. Just

(05:55):
hot in here, dad. Yeah, you gotta roll your windo down.
That's my windows down. Okay. They start looking round for button and go.
You see that crank, Get afterit, boy, And there you
are. Oh, you like rowinga boat each one. That thing is
that old ding tom. You getit all the way down and then it's
all half of them or off thehe I mean off the track. It

(06:17):
is laying down there anyway. Soyou'd get a treat. It might get
some ice creams on a treat. So your treat now is a good little
bit of history. It was onthis day in nineteen thirty seven the Hindenburg
disaster occurred. The German zeppelin Hindenburgcatches fire and just destroyed within a minute

(06:38):
while attempting to dock at Lakehurst,New Jersey. Thirty six people are killed.
This is the famous Herbert Morrison Hendenburgaudio turning the rain again. The
rain had cranked up a little bit. They packed molders to the ship of
gun holding. Us can keep itfrom the person. The flame, get

(07:00):
it, got it, get it. It's fine and it's faking. It's
rating terrible. Oh my, getout of the way, please, it's
running working in the planes, andit's holding on the morning paths and all
the folks between. That is terrible. This is the one of the workshire
testify in the world. They alwaystwenty all four or five hundred feet into
the sky and it's a terrific grace, ladies and gentleman, is spoken the

(07:25):
slaves now and the flame of rasingto the ground, not quite to the
mooring mass, all the humanities, all the person to screaming garage. I
don't I just talk to people andsays are on there. It's it's oh,
I can't talk, ladies and gentlemen, honest laid down melsons smoking directly,

(07:49):
and everybody kill only breathes, tarking, screaming lady side. Honestly,
I can hardly praise. I'm goingto step in sideline, can, I
said, God, that's terrible.I can. Let's bug. I'm gonna
have to talk for a minute becauseI'd like to play with you. Think
