membership picnic and that's where we announced the lineup of
entertainers and everything, and there was a lot of fun,

things we had to take care got a great entertainment
list lineup. This year, the rodeo will be in September.
The opening Friday night of rodeo itself is September eighteenth.

Saturday Night Midland on Sunday, Los Soreros and Monday night

So this came from Mark. I have a house that
was built in nineteen fifty three and I'm wanting to
vacuum out all my attic insulation, seal all the openings

(06:38):
into the house and then install new insulation. Uh, I'm
thinking foam insulation or breatheable. If I did foam, I
would probably spray the roof deck all around to the
side walls to create an encapsulation. I know some insulations

(07:05):
will settle over time, and so you have to have
more done. My concerns and objections objectives are sound, high,
our value, and longevity. With this info, what would you
recommend for the best bang for my buck? Well, look,
the best bang for your buck is not going to

(07:28):
be foam insulation. Foam insulation is very expensive as compared
to fiberglass type insulation. If you were telling me you
were going to do the walls, I'm gonna tell you
all day long. Put foam in the walls. And the
reason for it, inch for inch. It gives you the
highest R value, so you get the best insulating factor.

(07:52):
The problem in the attic is you've got room to
put insulation. So whether you use foam insulation, whether you
use fiberglass insulation, R forty nine is R forty nine.
So put in the one that's going to be cost
effective and do the job right. If you in the
house built in nineteen fifty three, you didn't have insulation

(08:14):
when the house was built, so anything in the attic
was added. The walls have nothing unless somebody added it.
I do recommend USA insulation for the wall insulation. That
is a foam that they retrofit the walls and it
seals the air gaps. It reduces the outside noise up

(08:35):
to eighty percent. But in the attic I go with
fiberglass insulation. In fact, what you need to be looking
at in the attic is so do I go with
a bat type which is like the stuff that's in
the role, or do I go with the blown in. Well,
here's the difference again. R forty nine is our forty

(08:56):
nine energy efficiency wise, there's no difference over time. There
is a difference. Blown in insulation will tend to settle
over time, and so you have to add insulation roughly
every ten years to keep the R value the same.
When you use the bat type insulation, once you put
it in, you're done. It doesn't settle over time. The

(09:21):
other thing is the breatheability. If you go with that
spray poam, you're totally encapsulating the house. Now you're fully
dependent on the AC system to be bringing fresh air.
In from outside. You will have to upgrade the AC
if you do that. Now, if your walls aren't sealed off,

(09:41):
no you're fine. But to do the house right, you
do the walls with phone. You do seal all the
AC vents and the light penetrations and all that stuff
with foam from the attic. But then put in the
bat insulation. The house is still breathing, so you don't
have to worry about sick home syndrome. You don't have

(10:03):
to worry about having an oversized AC system. It's just
all around a better way to go. Now. I shouldn't
say an oversize because you still could have the oversized
AC issue. But that's a different story. I guess we'll
talk about it a little bit though. If you get
a house from nineteen fifty three, no insulation anywhere, and

(10:26):
I'm just going to use a round number, it's running
a five ton air conditioning system and it's staying comfortable
in the house. If you change and add insulation to
the house, that air conditioning system becomes too large. Now
it doesn't cycle on and off the way it should.

(10:48):
Because it comes on, it cools the place down so quick.
It shuts off and it's not dehumidifying, so your humidity
levels will start going up and you're going to become uncomfortable,
and you're gonna blame it on putting the insulation in
when it's actually the air conditioning system just being oversized
since you made the house more energy efficient. So you

(11:09):
do have to kind of work some of this stuff together.
It's not just a matter of I'm gonna throw some
insulation in and make the house better. Now with with
just doing the attic on a house from nineteen fifty three,
you would be fine with just doing the attic, but
again I would avoid the foam. And then there's some

(11:31):
issues with insurance that are starting to pop up as
far as foam in the attic, but that's something totally different.
So yeah, take a look at putting in just a
fiberglass bat insulation in the attic. Got a question seven

Okay there. The first spot I got to do is
USA Insulation. So if you're looking at adding insulation to
your home, and you can do this whether you have
insulation or not. But most homes built in the sixties
or earlier have no insulation. Since the sixties you pretty
much have you know, like in the seventies and on,

you've got insulation in. But you know what, USA Insulation
can still reinsulate those walls, dildrill holes. If it's a
brick home, through the mortar lines. Put a tube in
there and insert a non expansive phone insulation that'll encapsulate
what's in there, seals the air gaps, raises the r

value and reduces the noise up to eighty percent from outside.

So I have another question on insulation that I want

to address at the same time, because you know, we
just did the other one. But you can call in
on any subject. It doesn't have to be insallation related
uh again seven one three, two, one two five eight
seven four. This one comes from kJ and he says
attic insulation. Hi, Jim. My question relates to replacing our
existing twenty five year old fiberglass roll insulation. If replace

it with a higher grade fiberglass roll, what grade of
insulation should we install? Is blown in a good option?
Which option is the most cost effective? Love the show,
Thanks Jim for the always great advice. So if you've
got rolled insulation in there, unless it got wet or

(17:19):
critters got into it and destroyed it, there's not a
reason to take it out. It doesn't go bad. The
blown in insulation will settle over time and have to
add more insulation on top of it. But if it's
a bad insulation, it's not going to settle. Now what
I have seen, and it's usually something that's going to

(17:41):
happen more in the fifty year mark than it does
in the twenty five year The insulation will tend to
shrink just a little bit. And I know they're going
to tell you, oh, no, fiberglass doesn't shrink. The heck
it don't. I opened up a lot of walls that
are twenty five years old. They're fine. I'll open up

(18:02):
walls that are fifty plus years old and the stuff
is shrunk, it's a little bit smaller, so somewhere in
that timeframe it does. But is there any reason to
replace it? No, just put more rolls on top of
what you have, but go the opposite direction. So you're
set up like a checkerboard. Basically, you got ros going

(18:24):
in two directions and you'll be just fine. Keep in mind, though,
you know, once you hit a certain plateau with your insulation,
there's a diminished return, and really there's not a big red.
There's no reason to go over our forty nine. We're
typically only looking for about sixteen, you know, fifteen sixteen

(18:47):
inches of insulation. So if you think you're gonna save
a lot of money by say, putting in thirty inches
of insulation, you won't. It's gonna hit that plateau, and
that's about as much money as you will save. The
rest of it was just wasted, all right. Got a

eight seven four, And I'll see what I can do

creating lung issues. How do I get rid of creosol
older that comes from under the house creating an issue
on inside of house? Now a breathing issue in the summer,
had bad insulation underneath. Going to remove it and want
to encapsulate it the older I cannot afford to move.

What does the work and cost of a twelve hundred
square foot house cross space easy and that has about
four foot of space? Please help, okay? And they sent
me some pictures, so I went through the pictures. I
don't see any creosol, so that's not your issue. But
what I do see is there's a lot of water

(20:16):
going under this house because it's washing the soil away.
There's bare roots that are sticking up because the soil
has been washed away from around them, and that's what
you're smelling is moisture. It's getting into that insulation and
it's probably causing molds and mildews in the wood. Get
that insulation out, then ventilate that cross space. And what

(20:42):
you want to do is be sucking the air out,
so it's drawing air in through other vents and across.
That's more likely going to take care of your older issue.
It'll take care of the health issues you're having and
give you a much much better house. Now, you do
need to correct that drainage issue that you have that's
allowing water to go underneath the house. Uh, and that

(21:04):
will help dry things out and get rid of the
mold and mildew that's probably under there as well. So
those are the items I would address. Uh. The encapsulation.
There are times where house needs encapsulation, but with the
amount of water you got running underneath this house, you're
way premature on having to worry about doing that. Those

(21:26):
issues have to be addressed first. And with a four
foot of cross space, you got plenty of room to
put in the ventilation that's needed. So and that's going
to be your least expensive way to deal with this

And so you can definitely have somebody in your house
do it. I mean, if you got a teenager in
the home, they can do it. A neighborhood teenager could

you my sons were putting in the socer host systems
for people when they were, you know, like sixteen years old.
That's how they would make extra money. And they can
absolutely not my sons anymore, but teenagers like that can
absolutely do it. If they don't know exactly what they're doing,

mean my sons used to go out and put a
system in in less than a day, so it definitely

who you can trust then that can do it for you. Again,

what what kind of maintenance should you ask for from
an ac technician on an annual or semi or you know,
every year every two years or so. What should you
ask them to do to take care of your system
to know it's being maintained.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
Right, Well, you should have the system done twice a year.
And I can tell you what do stair conditioning does.
I mean we go out and we take the outside
unit apart, clean everything, clean the coils, check the capacitors,
check the motors, all that stuff, put all that back together.

(27:14):
Then we go inside, we pull the fan motor housing
and stuff out. Get all the dust off of that
because as dust builds on those fan blades and things,
it'll start throwing them out of balance and that puts
undo wear on everything. And again you got to check
all the capacitors and things like that. But the big

(27:36):
thing is to make sure that everything is being kept clean.
That's probably the number one thing. Now most companies, I
will tell you up up front what most companies are
gonna do. They come out, they hose out the outside compressor,
they go up, they check the readings to make sure
that the system is cooling, and that's the end of it.

(28:00):
When my guys go out, it's typically about a two
to three hour process. Most companies will do it in
about twenty minutes.

And generally you might not want to say this, but generally,
what would I expect to pay for a service like
that service that you're talking about, where it's pretty thorough
and really a good.

Check well with our membership, I want to say. And
I could be off on this a little bit, but
I want to say it's around two hundred and sixty
dollars or so, and for that we come out twice
a year and do it.

Oh, Okay, it's sounds like it's worth it to keep
that going.

It is. I mean, you see specials all the time
where people are a come on out for will come
out for twenty nine dollars and do your unit. They're
looking for something to say that, Hey, let's replace this,
let's le's do this, let's do that for twenty nine bucks.
You can't even pay the technician to come out.

a good idea of what to listen for when they
say they'll come out and jack the units.

Seems like it's a roof insulation, I mean a insulation.
Day are the original owners on our home? It's thirty
years old this year and we had tons of insulation
blown in insulation when we first bought it. Since it
has selled a lot. And I heard you say just

a minute ago to someone about another situation that you
recommended every ten years, you need to go in and
add to it. We have not done that. Is it
possible just to have somebody come out and and blow it,
blow in enough to where it's back where it needs
to be because it's a little or you need to
take take everything.

Else out of leave in what's there and just add
in on top of it.

Any particular any particular composition of what you have blown in.

Well, since you it depends on what you have. I mean,
I typically recommend using a fiberglass insulation and that can
go in on top of what you have, whether it's
fiberglass or cellulos. So, uh, that's what I would take
a look at. And that music meant I need to

I was talking with Tam and Taw. Are you there still?

Yeah, we're still here?

Speaker 5 (34:36):
Okay, sorry about that.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
What we've got up in our attic right now is
white and buffy, okay.

Speaker 5 (34:44):
Whether that's cellulos, no, that that's gonna that's gonna be fiberglass, okay.
And so you can just have more fiberglass blown in
on top of it. And if you want to measure
what you have, what you're looking for is about sixteen
inches ten inches.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
I remember when we moved in, it was about nineteen,
but it is settled now to where it's most of
it's even with the rafters going.

Speaker 5 (35:12):
Across, and that's what happens with it. And you know
what happens as it settles. It's the air pockets that
are disappearing, and so that makes it less insulating, you know,
it lowers it's insulating factor. By blowing the insulation back
on top, you get the fluffiness again. But in about

(35:33):
ten years it'll settle down again. You'll end up adding
some more.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
Well, we're overdue. I appreciate the heads up on that,
and that sounds like something we can arrange to have done.

Speaker 5 (35:43):
Oh yeah. And honestly, when you use blown in insulation,
it's not that expensive. It is something you can do
yourself if you want to. But it's a real pain
in the butt.

Speaker 2 (35:54):
Now, I'd rather just have somebody to come out and
get it done. Yeah, No, I call it one time
somebody that themum charge for the truck to come out
with five hundred and it includes like five sacks or
something like that. Yeah, kind of along the lines while
you're thinking, Okay, yep, yep, we'll get her done.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Thanks you, Jim.

Speaker 5 (36:10):
You bet take care, you know, and some things you
are just better off to hire somebody to do it. Uh,
you know, to to pay somebody five hundred bucks to
come out and blow insulation in for you, and that
included the first five bags. Let me tell you if

(36:32):
you got to go set up that go pick up
that machine. Then you got to set it up. You
break the bags into it. You get all geared up
because you're gonna want to put a mask on something
of me, a breathing mask. You want to have stuff
over your arms and hands and everything because that fiberglass
gets on you. It's itchy. I mean, by the time
you get it all done, you're much better off to

(36:54):
hire somebody to come in and do it. Seven two
five eight seven four lines are open. Go ahead and
pick up the phone, give me a call. I'll see
what I can do to help you out here on

from Dennis and he says, I have a retaining wall
in my backyard. Half the wall fell over. What can
I do? Oh, let me tell you that that's a rebuild.
You can forget about the half that fell over, and
probably the other half needs be redone as well. The

(37:41):
worst one I ever did was up on a hill,
the retaining wall, and these people moved into the house
at the end of March April first. When they woke
up on April Fool's Day, they look out their backyard
and retaining wall had fallen over. It sucked dirt out

(38:03):
from underneath the house back about twenty five feet. The
thing that kept that house from moving at that point
was it had drilled piers on it that held it up.
But that retaining wall had to be totally redone. Now
this was way up on a hill, large hill where
it fell down. It was not designed right from the

(38:26):
get go, and that retaining wall that was something in
excess of a million dollars by the time it was finished.
So but you know a lot of times it's just
a short wall and it's not going to be anything
near that extensive or expensive. But once a wall tips over,

(38:47):
you're not tipping it back up and reusing it. And
the reason this happened so often is they build them
with not enough strength to hold back any dirt, and
when it gets wet, the moisture will push that wall
over because the moisture builds behind it. And when they
don't put the proper drainage. It just pushes the wall
over and that's what typically happens to the walls, all right,

Hi, Jim. Question is about my h back air ducks.
I've had two estimates. I'm assuming that they've never been changed.
The house is old. I put a new system in
five years ago and they didn't mention it, you know,
but I got a fine layer of dust all the time,
and I got two estimates and it seemed very high.

Is it the labor or what?

Uh, the dust that you're getting is it's kind of
a white dust.

Yeah, very very fine.

Okay. So it may not be the duck work. It
actually could be that the air that's going through your
AC system is not being filtered, because the filter should
be catching that kind of stuff. It also could can
end up being something as far as a hole in

the duckwork allowing air to suck in from the attic.
And I hate to do this to you, Robert. I'm
gonna put you on hold for just a minute and

will actually pull dust in, and so that can be
the problem. But I darn sure would want to find
out which way it is before the duckwork is done,
because it's really not cheap to do duckwork. Yeah, what

I think at eighteen hundred square feet it has ten vents.

So you probably came in and I'm just spitballing here,
but probably something between six and eight thousand.

Well, the first was forty five hundred. I thought that
was high. Then I got the second one and you're right,
it was like sixty seven hundred. It would it would
throw away.

Yeah. Uh. You know, since your house was built, the
materials have been upgraded. It has more insulation on it now.
I don't know, do you still have the old grade
on the outside of ears or is it the silver.

On I'm sorry, on the on the ducks.

Yeah, silver Okay, so you already have a newer type
duck work, so let's definitely check out make sure that
there's not holes or something before you spend all that money. Uh,

And prior to that, I always had a man that
would come and do the so called repair service. But
the way you just explain the previous color it is
nothing the way that he's done before. So now I'm

intrigued on having one of your gentlemen to come and
do the service. But being kind of fairly new, do
I need to get all the service done? As you
explained earlier, or I mean, I just please help me
to understand what do I need to do for getting
my AC check because I'm off of the summer, but

(50:51):
I want to make sure that everything is in order
for now and when we get ready.

For the fall.

Speaker 5 (50:57):
You know, I typically tell people to wait, you got
one year, uh, and then from then on it's do
it every six months, because you do it once in
the fall and once in the spring. In the spring,
you're getting ready for the summer, and the fall you're
getting ready for heat.

Speaker 8 (51:14):
Okay, and that's the procedure that you explain. We need
to have that done too, twice per year, correct, yes, ma'am. Okay,
And then what I need to do is reach out
to your service person and set the appointment. And once

(51:35):
you call, what is the time around for them to
come and do the service.

Speaker 5 (51:41):
Well, obviously it depends on how busy it is. I mean,
typically we're going to put like if somebody's air conditioner quit,
that's going to be ahead of coming out and doing.

I understand.

Speaker 5 (51:54):
But normally, if you call like today, I mean my
phones are answered on Saturday, we would probably be out
there Monday, Tuesday, maybe Wednesday, and it's going to be
a little weather pending as well.

Correct, correct, and yeah, I want to be told to
prepare before you know things the weather starts getting kind
of bead. My other question, and this is kind of
like a dumb question on my ceiling, I feel like
a little fight, Craig. Some people tell me as foundation.
Other people said, oh, I need talking to put on,

(52:31):
but I'm not quite sure. Should I go ahead and
heavy check for foundation as well?

Speaker 5 (52:41):
Typically, is this on the ceiling itself?

Speaker 8 (52:44):
You said, it's on the ceiling. I don't have any
cracks on the walls or anything. It's just basically on
the ceiling in my living room. And then I see
some toward the hallway.

Speaker 5 (52:56):
Okay. It is very very rare that you'll see cracks
in the ceiling because of foundation movement. Normally when it's
on the ceiling, and I'll ask you this, are these
nice straight lines, I guess, sir, Yeah, that's normally the
sheet rock joints. Okay, And so it's usually not a

(53:20):
foundation issue. It's got to do with the workmanship when
it was originally taped and floated.

Speaker 3 (53:26):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (53:26):
Because my house was built in eighty one, Okay, it's
one of the Davy weekly homes. But I got concerned
because the neighbors had foundation problems. And I just want
to make sure that now that I just retired, I
want to make sure that everything is in order. Sure,
and that's what you're the expert, and I want to

(53:48):
make sure that I got the Prepper inswer from you.

Speaker 5 (53:52):
Now. It can be looked at. It doesn't cost you
anything to have us out to look at it, and
we can draw the house, take elevation readings, and that
way you have a set so that say five or
ten years from now, you start seeing something else, another
set of readings can be taken and compared to the
set we just did and see what's moved and how much.

Speaker 8 (54:14):
Okay, and so I need to make two separate appointments.

You're right?

Well, when you put it, when you call into it
to my office, we have one call center that can
set up all the appointments for you, but it would

an AI system, not for our everyday use, but for
when we don't have the office open, So like at
night or on Sundays, if somebody calls, you'd still be

able to interact and book an appointment. And I looked
at a lot of different systems, and yes, I am
one who keeps up with technology and likes to use it.
And sometimes I will stretch technology too. It's limits as
far as what it can do. But I got to

be honest, some of this AI stuff, I don't like
where some of it's going, but some of it makes
a lot of sense. And I've been using other companies
when I call into book appointments AI systems, and some
of them are great and some of them are not
so good. But it's very interesting when you start working

(56:54):
with that technology. The systems are only as good as
you teach it. And you know, it's kind of like, uh,
it's kind of like molding young people. You've got to
teach them what to do, and these AI things are
the same same way. So you have to kind of
put together what kind of questions people are going to

(57:15):
ask and answer those questions so that the system is
able to do it.

Uh.

And then it integrates with what's called the CRM, which
is the schedule that we keep for appointments and to
book out an estimator or a technician or whoever's got
to go out to it and stuff. It's just it's
it's a lot of technology and a lot of fun

to keep up with some of that stuff. Anyways, I'm

HI jim i have, two problems one termites and the
other of. Someation problems I'M thinking i should probably tackle
the termite, problem first OR should i do both? Of
them try to do both at the.

Same, time well it's is a concrete slab or is
it up on blocks?

Country?

Slab okay address the, Termites. First OKAY and i say
that because depending on what type of termites, you have
they could do a lot of damage in a very
short period. Of time so let's get rid of. Those
first and THE reason i, was asking, you know if

it was up on blocks, or not because if it's up,
on blocks then they're putting that chemical underneath the house
and it's very difficult to send somebody in there to
do work with all the chemicals. In there but on a,
concrete slab the work is done from the. Outside anyways
the problem you're going to, run, into though is once they,

treat it then we've got to. Dig holes they may
have to retreat. Those areas so it depends on how
bad your. Termites, are.

Okay how do they? Determine that do they inspect the whole?
House though are they going up in the attic.

Or yeah the termite people will have to inspect the.
Whole house have you had it looked at for? Urmites? Yet,
no okay but you're seeing the tubes, Or, something.

Yeah the trails or the tubes. Or, whatever, okay yeah,
so yeah and the whole holes in the wall and the.

Sheet, rock OKAY then i would get a termite guy
out to look. At. It first let's determine how big

water seepage and when you say, Water seepage i'm assuming
this is water that's coming into the home through, the,

Foundation uh because if it was coming through say the
roof and getting the. CEILINGS wet i would how you call. A,
roofer well if it's coming up through, the foundation call the,
foundation contractor Called. Due west and you've got to deal
with the. Drainage issues and here's what happens to a lot.
Of homes the house, is built people are mowing the

yard for the next thirty, plus years not, bagging it,
you know just let it mulch and go into. The
ground it turns into more soil as, it decays and
over the next thirty, forty years the ground level comes
up and it literally raises two or three inches in

(01:15:38):
that amount. Of, time well now your soil is, so
high moisture is starting to soak through. The foundation concrete
is porous water will pass, through it and that's how
you start getting moisture. Coming up so how do you? Fix,
it well sometimes it's a matter of regrading. The yard

sometimes it's a matter of putting in some, Drainage systems
french drain or something to capture the water to take care.
OF it i will tell you a little. Water story
sad story happened to me. This Week, last sunday my
Office in dallas had a fire. Suppressant system the water

came in in a six inch pipe and the pipe
broke under. The foundation best we, can tell the pipe
is about six foot deep down in. The ground the
water was so intense coming up that it came up
through the, concrete floor domed the carpet, and everything and

we caught it fortunately Early on sunday when it. Was
happening but by the time we could get the water,
shut off the office had two to three inches of water.
In it that makes a heck of. A mess let
me tell YOU so i got now at, this point
got sheet rock, Cut out we've got, office furniture we've got.

To replace all the flooring. IS shot, i mean it
made a heck of. A mess but that was with
a six inch pipe. Dumping water but moisture could have
been soaking up through there had the soil been up
too high on. The foundation and it does make, a

difference even though it's the middle of the house versus
the outside of. The house and a lot of times people, will,
say well we got to what about the moisture barrier,
under there the vapor barrier, that was, you know depending
on the age of. Your home now they put them
in to keep water out of. The houses if you

went back into the seventies and earlier even into, the
eighties it was there to protect the concrete when it,
was poured to keep the soil from drawing the moisture
out of it. Too quick it kind of has changed
and evolved over. The years used to be they would
overlap the sections and not worry about taping and ceiling

and all that kind. Of stuff you drove rebar holes.
Through it it was no. Big deal now they want
everything detailed out and tape because we don't want any
moisture passing through. This barrier technology. Has changed contractors have
to keep up. With it NOT saying i always agree
with what these technology changes are and you're saying that

is where it has evolved. Too, though anyways if you

what would YOU recommend i ask FOR if i can
change From the. Lenox, Units well i'll be honest, with you,
YOU know i was just talking about a dyke. In
unit you talk About The american standard AND the. LINUX
unit i wouldn't tell you that you need a change

From the lenox because the builder HAS an ac company
Who does, lenox work and he's already designed it With
the linux system in mind and. All that instead of
trying to go with a different company than the, builder
uses talk to them about just upgrading what you HAVE

the linux system that they're looking at putting in to
a variable speed because almost all of the manufacturers have
variable speed systems, available NOWADAYS and I know, lenox does
they'd be able to just upgrade. That system and you know,
that way you're not asking the contractor to switch to

a a brand that they, don't use and you're not
asking the builder to change OUT is, ac contractor because
most likely he would, tell, you no this IS who
i use to do a, sea work and, quite frankly
it probably won't cost you that much to upgrade it that.

I said i would just talk to him about an
upgrade on the system that they're looking at. Putting in
don sends in a Solar electric, he says is solar a? Good? Investment,

is when they put that on the house and they

your house that's got to be, paid off and it
becomes a real problem for some people when they're thinking
about moving or selling and things. Like that the other
thing is when you put the solar on, your roof

panel's got to come off in order to put new.
Shingles up that's an added expense they don't tell. You
about it's Not that i'm. Against, Solar heck i've got

we're stretching its technology, right now and it's. So expensive
it doesn't offset it's cost the way they. Market it,

you're going to make your electricity cheaper by, going solar
