Final segment with Gino just he's talking about Big Five

final segment of the show. Here by the way, in
case you guys are wondering, who's been following the football
team this year? Nine in three Skylar Bell finalists for
the Belitnikoff Award. One of the three finalists for that,
Jim Moore, was adamant that Joe Finnano should be on

the stage of New York for the Heisman. Adamant, after
the wind Sunday, do you follow that game Saturday at all?
The wild?

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I did me? I did. Somebody texted me when when
Fau went up forty five forty one. Somebody texted me
and they said, damn, I can't believe it. I said,
how much time one o'clock? And they said, because I
had to go, I forget where where I was on Saturday.

(00:52):
I said how much time one o'clock? I said two minutes.
I said, we're going to win because I trust this kid.
He's from Pennsylan, he's from Williamsport and he's Italian.

Mm hmm. So Chris the kid from Norwalk's pretty good too, yeah, running.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, But this kid, I think this is the biggest
story of Yukon sports this year so far is this kid. Oh.
I love to meet him someday. This kid came here
and supposedly he came from Maine, and he supposedly got

beat out like he had and he got beat out. Yeah, okay,
so he got beat out. Then the kid got hurt
and they put him back in. Then the following year
he got beat out again with another kid they brought in,
and then that kid got hurt and Joe went back in.
Anywhere else in today's world, that kid goes, I'm out

of here and goes to another school and tries to
figure it out. And that kid stayed here and he
did it the way he did it. And it's one
of the greatest seasons any quarterback has ever had. And
this is the first time in history that Yukon's won
nine football games two years in a row. Right, and
they've been playing football for a long time.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Right, It's only the third regular season they've won nine
games ninety eight where they won ten because they went
to the playoffs two thousand and three, they didn't even
go to a Bowl Game because there wasn't enough ball
games back then and then this year. But Joe is
like forty four yards away from breaking dan Orlowski single
season passing record. Yeah, it's pretty good. He's got a

thousand yard rusher, a thousand yard receiver in him.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
But he'd have to throw ten interceptions in his next
game to tire Lawski for most interceptions. Well, how about
Orlavski's married to the sister of I'm sorry, married to
the daughter of a kid that was on my high
school basketball team. No, I mean my college basketball team. No,
do you know he's married to a harget On, you know,

Eddie hargot On. Yeah, Orlawski's married his daughter. I think,
how about that? Dan's doing crazy small world, right, So
we'll give him a hard time all the time, all right,
And now he's famous. He's on TV. You can't turn
on the TV without seeing Dan. I don't care what
because he's good at what he does. He's great at
what he does. He's fantastic. All right, Gino fantastics, thank

I don't know, but I remember it was one holiday
when when I had to, when I had to cook.

I don't know what the holiday was, but I made spaghetti.
