Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ray Mello. Murphy had himself a day five catches, one
hundred and ten yards. He's downstairs with at him.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Thank you very much, Bob. Yes, we are joined by
ray Mello. And you know, this was a game that
had all the drama you could possibly have wanted. How
satisfying is it to be the team that came out
on top here tonight?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Oh really? So, I mean we've we've kind of had
a little taste in our mouth, you know what I mean,
even though I'll just transferred it, there's a little taste
in our mouth from last year where it was super close.
So we really wanted to come in and obviously want
to protect the rent, so that's one of the things
we came in. It was like, you know, we came
in with warrior mindsetting a new shoe. Our backs are
against the wall, and we got to get this dub.

(00:40):
So that's something that we set our eyes. That was
the goal for the whole week and.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
We got it. So largest home crowd since twenty thirteen here.
Obviously your first year with the program, but it's been
a while since the ren has felt like that. What
did it feel like to you being out there in
front of thirty eight thousand.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
So unreal say that one, especially on those those third
and fourth downs, laying the game. I mean, so you
can't things like that is uh, words can't really describe
as kind of the field of moments. But you know
that's that's a testament to our fans, you know, testament
to you know, the culture around Yukon football and especially
again like it's been it's been a long time since
it's been like that. So hopefully we could keep we

(01:20):
could keep it going and keeping the rent packed out.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
So for Joe Pinnano, a guy that has still yet
to throw an interception this season, you know, what have
you seen out of your quarterback now that we're ten
games into the season.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Uh, Discipline, consistency, and leadership. Joe's one of those guys
that you can always, you know, look up to. I
mean he's a vet. You know, he's been in the
game for a long a long time. You know, hopefully
he hears this because I'm gonna call him old, but
you know he's seven years Yeah, he's old, you know
what I'm saying. So he you know, he understands the
game and the approaches, is like a professional, and you

(01:58):
know when you get, you get a couple of gems
from him here and there and kind of follow follow
his you know, testament and how he approaches every day.
I mean that's something you know. I mean it shows
up on the field, you know, through his consistenties, through
his play. So it's really it's really cool playing along
somebody that has leadership like that.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
So and for him, you know, those slants to you,
those balls are put right on the money. They allow
you to just catch it in stride. So how fun
is it to catch those balls just a couple of
yards downfield and have you know, full momentum take an
you where you need to go.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
I mean, so it starts from the I must I'm
start from the bottom down, I mean bottom up. I
mean that's just say, start from the line protecting Obviously
Joe being able to deliver an easy ball that makes
my job easier, you know what I mean. So you know,
it puts me in a good, good position to you know,
go out there and execute. But I mean, at the
end of the day, every everybody could have been put

(02:52):
in that position and been able to execute. So that's something, uh,
you know, we work on throughout. We would work on
throughout you know, the week. So it's just it's something
you know, I say, it's execution and stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
They over leave me alone, smiles all around. Congrats on
the wind Ram mellow. Thanks for the time, yes sir,
thank you for having me.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
All right, Bob, back to you all right, Adam, thank you.
Uh one hundred and ten yards, by the way, career
high for Murph. The crowd of thirty eight one oh
six the largest since twenty thirteen when they played Michigan,
and unless they had more seats to this place, that
record will never be broken far as attendance goes.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
