Potentially a goal in the second half of extra time
was all that Spain needed to deliver the country its
second World Cup, defeating Argentina. For winning the World Cup,

(00:28):
Spain gets you know how much money they get as a.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Team or each player as a team. One hundred million dollars.
Fifty million dollars. Damn half of that stage right here,
doesn't it?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Some of that stays right here? Yeah, yeah, well no,
they get fifty million dollars right but I think, oh,
all right, yeah, because one of the headlines I read
it is the irs gets to keep.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
A lot of it.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Oh sure, I don't know about that. But each team
was given like a million dollars to prepare, like in advance,
and then each team won some amount of money depending
on how far you got. So England got probably like
thirty five million, and then it was ascending or descending.
Post Malone kicked off the show. Jennifer Hudson sang the
national Anthem. Tom Cruise showed up to talk about how

(01:11):
awesome the World Cup was a very very hyped halftime
show Madonna Shakira and it was a little surprising. But
the Muppets were there as well, Doctor Teeth and the
Electric Mayhem playing Seven Nation Army and then Kermit and
Miss Piggy and Elmo. I would have freaked out if
the Muppets came out. I would have been excited about that,
all right. Closer to home, Washington State Patrol is located
child at the center of the Amber alert that was

(01:33):
issued out of Kennewick on Saturday night. The child's father
is still wanted. State health officials urging Washingtonians to please
donate blood if you can. Blood supplies running very low

(02:18):
linked to the lettuce wholesaler.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Although there are.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Differing opinions coming in of where the problem is coming from,
Walmart said so so far, there have been no confirmed
illnesses associated with the products, so they're just pulling them.
The tainted produce was supposed to have come from Tailor
Farms de Mexico of Wanato, Mexico, a subsidiary of the
California company. It was distributed to twenty seven states across
the country. Christopher Nolans long awaited retelling of The Odyssey

(02:46):

had upwards of four hundred thousand dollars in her war

she passed away. In sports, Mariners took two of three

with the arrival of Training Clan Training Camp. Caitlin Clark,
now the first player in WNBA history with forty five
points in Tenniss and the Kraken begin their season October
first in Calgary. The home opener will be October fourth
against the Flames.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
That Caitlyn Clark stat came against the Storm about this
morning in pul Up on an eastbound I just tried
explaining to Jody where we stand in the Avengers universe.
The doomsday trailer just dropped. The first Doomsday trailer just dropped.
Movie'll be out December eighteen. I needed, I need information.

(04:02):
You know, I'm not asking you these questions facetiously. I'm
not trying to make fun of you. I know you
love this stuff, and I'm trying to like, but I
don't think. But I don't think I did a very
good job of explaining because I'm not even sure what
the hell's going on.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Well, yeah, I mean when when anything can happen because multiverse,
and then there's really no explanations needed, you know.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
So I'm like, who's that guy? Thought he died? Who's
this guy thought he died? You know, you're like multiverse
multivert but.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
He comes backing the multiverse, He's wearing a different hat, multiverse.
It all makes sense, you know. Josh unfortunately never really
got into Avengers. We've watched a handful of the past movies.
We really enjoyed the Wolverine series, and we enjoyed the
Iron Man series. But once it got into like the
whole groups of them, yes, like fighting once ensembles, then

(04:50):
Josh tapped out and he never tapped back in. And
I do not have the streaming channel that makes it
available for me to watch the movies, right, But I
want to support you, you know, so I'm like, who's
that guy? You You're like, turn off all the music,
we're gonna want to make the lights go or watch
the thing. And I was like, who's that guy and

(05:11):
you're like, that's Steve Rogers. Don't even know who Steve
Rogers is. I thought he died multiverse. Well he went
back with Patty and we never saw him die.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
It's Peggy right, he went back to the fifties. But
now we's back multiversemm. Yeah, So the very first Avengers
Doomsday trailer is now out. We posted it on our
Facebook page. I Jodie and Bender. We watched the trailer.
The trailer really offers no explanation about anything other than

(05:48):
there's now a bad guy that Thor spends three minutes
saying is the most horrific villain we've ever faced in
any universe.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
And I'm like, oh, look, it's the Black Panther. Guys,
have they been in an Avengers movie? And you're like yes,
I'm like, well I saw Black Panther.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
You know. I didn't realize that they had met the
rest of the gang. But we don't know it does it?
It isn't revealed who Doctor Doom is. We know who
Doctor Doom is. We know who it is. It's it's
it's Tony, It's Tony Stark, It's some variant of Tony Stark,
It's Robert Downey Junior. That is correct playing the Tony
Stark characters. Well, no, we don't know that yet. It's right,

(06:26):
it's Robert Downey Junior playing Doctor Doom. We just don't
know how it's going to be. There's lots of theories,
but we have no idea how it's going to roll
out that when it's revealed that it's Robert Danney Junia,
it's Tony Stark, How the Arrest of the Avengers is
going to go, Dude, it's Tony. Wait, why are you
mad at us? Why are you trying to, you know,
destroy the universe? There may be other like hardcore and

(06:50):
I say this with utmost affection. There may be obviously
bigger nerds in the comic book universe that can explain this,
but the trailer does not explain any But so here's
what we know.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
We know that Robert Downey Junior is the bad guy,
and he's a real bad guy because Thor seems very
upset about it.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
But is it?

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Is it Robert Downey Junior getting to play a totally
different character in the Marvel universe he's playing Is it
him doing Tony Stark again?

Speaker 3 (07:19):
But to Stark is now a bad guy. We don't know.
We don't know. If it's Robert Downey Jr. And he
gets another it's Robert, it's Robert Danny Junior playing a
different character. He's playing doctor Duman. This but right, But
we don't know how it's going to You don't know,
We don't know how it's gonna work. And like I said,
if there's somebody who don't bother texting, don't use the

(07:41):
talk back. I don't want it ruin green. There's thousand
different theories as to how they're going to do this.
Five seven the jet it's Jody and Bender. We got
some creepy.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Don't think we got.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
The messages that we got off the talk back. It
sounds like someone from the other side wanting to know
if they're actually making contact. That's how this sounds, right. Yeah,
I suppose you can use the talkback feature on the

(08:25):
iHeart radio app when you've got the station on your phone.
It's that little red microphone right there. You click that
and your phone's going to record you. Message will show
up here in studio. We received this message and I
don't know what to make of it.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Listen, Oh I love you when I missed you is
the person that I want to hear from.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
Can you see me?

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (08:55):
What? So?

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Wait? What what? Listen?

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (09:02):
I love you, I miss you is the person that
I want to hear some can you see me?

Speaker 2 (09:09):
You know I'm okay with the first part, not not,
it's the second part I have a problem with.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Can you see me?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (09:17):
The first part was the Oh I love you, I
missed you, I love you when I miss you. Yeah,
someone can love you and miss you, right, But it's
but where where is? It sounds like it's coming from
the other side.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
It definitely sounds like she's dialing in from the other
side of a ouiji board. I agree, I got no
problem with that. I love you and miss you. That's
friendly enough. It's a can you see me?

Speaker 5 (09:42):
Oh, I love.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
You, I miss you?

Speaker 5 (09:44):
Is the person that I want to hear some can
you see me? So?

Speaker 2 (09:50):
If anybody was WIGI boarding over the weekend, we got
your grandma right here.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
What the hell?

Speaker 3 (09:55):
It's freaking bender as. Now, remember when you send us
a talk back, we have your email and your phone number.
Huh should we call this person to say what the
hell was that? No?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
No, no, nope, We're just gonna turntail and walk away.
Let's not dig any further. Literally, yeah, ever, whisper by
Carter super U.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Money's on the way, You're one thousand dollars work day paid.
A keyword. All you gotta do is take that word.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
To the website ninety five to seventh jet dot com.
But you don't know the word yet. You gotta make
it through the news. Can you make it sure?

Speaker 3 (10:33):
You ken?

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Hey, it's gonna be hot today, significant heat on the way,
temperatures climbing into the eighties and nineties this week. A
goal in the second half of extra time was all
that Spain needed to deliver the country it's second World
Cup championship and fifty million dollars. And now that it's over,
bender can say something mean about soccer.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Saying anything mean about soccer phone as yours, bend, I'm
not saying anything mean. I was on the I was
on the bandwagon, But my god, was that match born.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
You were on the bandwagon, hanging on on the back
like one of those people who's trying to board a
train in like India when it's rush hour, you know,
and they open up the door and there's like eighty
thousand people crammed in, so you just grab on the side.
That's the kind of bandwagon you were on. Well it's
over and you don't have to worry about it.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Close it home. Columbia River Campground.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
That'd be free, Jody, great, Thank you Bender. The iHeart
Radio app is totally free. Christopher Nolan's long away to
read and if you love great things that are free.
Big bosses in town and he's listening. Hit it hard,
go wait to get the iHeart Radio app free and
you can sum up whatever songs.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
You want and make sure you preset the Jodian Bender podcast. Yeah, great,
thanks Bender.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Christopher Nolan's long awaited retelling of the Odyssey had the
biggest live action opening weekend of the year, ranking raking
in one hundred and twenty four and a half million
dollars on less than four thousand screens. Willie Nelson is
releasing a new memoir in November in honor of his
wife crediting her for keeping him alive when he got
COVID in twenty twenty two, and Sports Mariners took two
of three from the Giants. Over the weekend, they host

(13:21):
the Reds. Tonight, Storm hosts Minnesota Tonight. Sounders will visit
Austin on Wednesday. It's football time, Real football, American Football.
All thirty two teams get back to work over the
next two weeks with the arrival of training camp. Kra
can begin their season October first in Calgary, but the
home opener will be on the fourth against the Flames.
And congratulations to Caitlin Clark, now the first player in

(13:41):
WNBA history with forty five points in tennisis Unfortunately, I
was just told that she did that against the Storm.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
But what are you gonna do in September. You can
clear it or you could jump over it. Well, well,
Joyson jumping through a hoop, jump through a hoop, and
then you have to clear a clear a hurdle or
you could jump over a hurdle. Over this past weekend,
the Seattle Times did a wonderful story on Jody Headline

(14:09):
legendary Comma iconic Comma never to be replaced Comma longtime
Seattle morning radio host Jody Brothers diagnosed with breast cancer
and the story Saturday morning. I pulled up the Seattle
Times and and I don't know if you know, when

(14:32):
you go to Seattle Times website, they have a top
five most read stories. Jody was at number three. Let's go.
I screen capt it sent it to Jody in with
the caption come on number one, and I sent it
to her, to which she laughed. She says, I'm dead

(14:54):
with their emojis and stuff, and I said, I'm posting this.
Actually what you said was what's the name of the squirrel? No,
it's a raccoon. What's the name of the raccoon? A
necklace raccoon?

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Yeah, Jimothy Jimithy became a sensation over the weekend with
the memes and everything.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
Jimmy at number one, And it was the worst timing
for Jody's story because the raccoon is at number one.
We're trying to climb the ranks to get Jody number one.
You can't beat Timothy, not right now. So he's so
hot right now. If you log onto our Facebook at
Jody Inventor, you'll see the text conversation between her and I,
to which Jody actually quoted as saying, effing Jimothy.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
And I got. I had a lot of people who
love that. They thought that was so funny. People love
seeing our actual text messages. Yes it's usually me cursing.
Yes it's always you cursing.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
But Jody surgery is next week, and the Seattle Times
a lovely article on her. It was very nice of them.
And you are between now and next week. Actually, because
you've been sitting on this for like a month or so,
two months or so, you've been told to keep yourself

(16:09):
stress free, stress free, you got, we we there was
nothing that you need. You need to clearly worry about
myself everything.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
It's funny you should say that because this weekend Josh
was playing baseball in Portland, home run hitter.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
I'm so proud of him. Uh.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
And I did not go to Portland because I took
the weekend to myself to spend some time with my friends.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
And because I'm sick.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Everybody came to me, which was very nice that I
accept because I'm stress free right now.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
No were you were you with your friends handing out
autographed copies of the Seattle Times.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
I was, I was widely I was widely mocked for
the picture that I chose, which, as you can see,
is one of our it's publicity photo.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
It's one of the new publicity photos. But I am
move it to your book a little bit more, a
little bit more. We're trying to get it on jo
good perfect. Yeah, yeah, I don't look good. Why did
you choose that picture? Because I sent?

Speaker 2 (17:11):
I sent her, I said, do you want like my
professional pictures or do you want like casual photos of
me and my family? But I was so tired because
the day she contacted me was the day that we
went on the air with the News last Wednesday, and
so everybody was reaching out and I had been talking
all day and I was really exhausted. Sure, so I
sent some dumb pictures of me and Joshua were like

(17:32):
the worst ones, and a stupid one of me and
the dogs at the top of a mountain. I look
like crap. And then I sent this one, and then
I sent a picture of you and I. So I'm like,
take your pick, Angela, She's.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Gonna use the one of just you right there is
about you.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Yeah, but I look like an idiot anyway, to your point,
I could have. I could have sent her to one
of you and I flipping off the camera. That's a
good one.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
I know you love that one. I love such a
dirty bird that it's such a good but it's a good picture,
the one with the middle finger.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
And that's a good one, though I know it is funny,
but it's funny because this weekend I was sitting in
the backyard, actually yesterday, I was sitting in my backyard
talking with my oldest friend in Seattle, my very first neighbor, Ellen,
and uh dogs were playing. We were catching up and
we were sipping on some seltzer and I had just
finished telling her how relaxed I was and how I

(18:22):
was feeling cool and I was ready to go, and
then all of a sudden, like Jack Nicholson in the Shining,
my next door neighbor's dogs came through the frickin fence
trying to get at my friend Ellen's dog, who is
on my side of the fence, barking at them. My
next door neighbor has two like mini Aussies, and as
much as I love dogs, I do not like these dogs.

(18:44):
And my neighbors listening, I believe that she would not
be surprised. They're not very friendly. They're barkie. They bark
at night.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
Sometimes.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
She's great, I love my neighbors. Just does not put
well for your stress level. I know through the fence
to band. I'm like, what, So I jump up and
I grab my hose. I turn on the hose and
I spray the dogs and they back up, and then
me and Elean are over here trying to like fix
the fence.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
I'm like, do I have any two white fours? Of course,
and I don't have any two by fours. Aren't there
signs up in your neighborhood, like the neighborhood watched signs like, hey,
the stress level down. It's affecting my stress level, she said.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
I texted the neighborho like, hey, your dogs just came
through the fence after my after my dog, and she
was like, oh, they were probably chasing a squirrel. I'm like, no,
they were trying to kill my friend's dogs. I happen
to have been sitting there watching it, and they look
like Jack Nicholson from The Shining a joke which I
laughed at to myself all night. Okay, that's exactly what
it looked like. So stress level is two out of ten.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Oh good, now it is now? It is okay, good,
well done? Do I seem children totally chilled the jet?
It's Jody and Bender. We do have a few texts
saying that we should call the person who left these
talkback messages.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
Oh I love her and I miss you is the
person that I want to hear from.

Speaker 5 (20:09):
Can you see me?

Speaker 3 (20:11):
We can't call back to eighteen forty because that is
a ghost. Jody believes that these messages that we got
via the talkback message over the weekend from Beyond are
from Beyond the other side of a Ouiji board.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
Oh I love you and I missed you is the
person that I want to hear from.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
Can you see me?

Speaker 2 (20:35):
So?

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Can you see me? That puts me over the edge.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Also, she's clearly not talking to either of us because
nobody wants to. Nobody loves us and misses us and
is the person that she wants to see. You got
your own thing going on, and I don't have nobody
that talks to me like that.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Text. You should definitely call her. This is stranger than
the woman who accused you guys of blinding or anyone.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
No, it's not because this I think is a mistake.
This woman, I don't think she's talking to us. And
the woman who was accusing us of blinding her in
her eyes, she was talking to us and angrily, angrily
text super creepy.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Text sounds like someone from disney Lands Haunted Mansion. Yeah, text,
super creepy. You should call her. It's the before too.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
Oh I love you and I missed you is the
person that I want to hear from.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
Can you see me?

Speaker 3 (21:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Can you?

Speaker 3 (21:35):
That's putting off some really bad jujuice on Monday. We
don't need this. I can feel you. It's weird. Okay,
that's enough. Mister big shot sitting on four wins? Can
he get halfway to the Hall of Fame? Hi Brad,

(21:55):
Hi fag again.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Said how are you doing?

Speaker 5 (22:01):

two of you ready for combat?

Speaker 1 (22:16):

Speaker 3 (22:17):
Jody has the questions this morning. You guys are gonna
buzz in with your name when you know the answer?
First person of five wins. If you guys screw up
along the way and I have to clean up the mess,
and I get fined before you you're both out here
we go Mariner's tickets on the line. What singers manager
was Colonel Tom Parker.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Brad Brad, Elvis Presley.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Hypochondria is the fear of.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
What Brad Brad, I'll being sick?

Speaker 3 (22:51):

Speaker 1 (22:55):

Speaker 3 (23:01):

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Jazz musicians sometimes refer to which instrument as a licorice.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Stick Casey Casey saxophon.

Speaker 2 (23:17):

McDonald's jingle, which is the McDonald's jingle. But I'm bump
bump right, And I wrote out.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Bum but um bum bum bum bum, but I kept
thinking I was gonna get it wrong.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
That's very very, very well doing.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
Brad has three, Casey has two, which two long running
nineteen eighties TV shows featured characters called Uncle Jesse Brad Brad.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Dukes of Hazzard.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
Casey full House and mix of hazard.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Scoreboard tied up at three. Yeah, I said two. I
said two, Sorry, Brad.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
That's all right.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
Cool.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
The Portuguese Man of War is a type of what
Brad Jellyfish? Who did the US purchase Alaska from.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Brad for the win Russia game?

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Over ninety five seven of the jet I mean it's
only appropriate to come out of Michael Jackson's thriller in
July to discuss the creepy ass talkback message that we got,
and then a follow up talk back regarding the analysis.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
Oh I love you when I missed you is the
person that I want to hear from.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
Can you see me?

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Oh? Can you see me? We came in this morning
pull up the talkbacks from the weekend, and we received
those talkbacks over the past a couple of days while
we weren't here, and we don't know what it's from.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
See, what I think is somebody from the other side
trying to get a message to one of your listeners.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
H could be. I still say we should call Jody
doesn't want to call because again, when you leave a talkback,
we have your phone number and your email. I want
to call the person.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Yeah, all right, well, if you want to call, let's call.
I'm just doing like no stress, baby.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
You know what I mean. I try Jody can't be stressed.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
I can't be stressed out. So if this is going
to stress me out, that's on you.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Isn't it more stressful not knowing what's going on? No,
I'm cool. I can forget about all this, right, but
this might be just something really stupid, all right? And
then the stress level drops at seven to jet next
chance that one thousand dollars happens at eight ten, Jody's
news coming up. Still waiting on the song of the day,
which is Calmer Chameleion from Culture Club. When you hear

(26:24):
it be calling nine you get to go see them
in concert. Still trying to get to the root of
the creepiness of this talkback message that was left over
the weekend.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Oh I love you when I missed you? Is the
person that I want to hear from. Can you see me?

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (26:43):
Jody does not want me to call the person who
left the talkback because we have all when you leave
talkback messages on the iheartradiop of the show up here
in studio, we have phone number and email, and Jody
has to keep her stress level down down because of
surgery coming up next week. And I said, but wouldn't
it reduce your stress if we find out that maybe
this is dumb? Okay, okay, what that's fair? So we

(27:08):
make the call. Hello, Hi, looking for Desiree.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
Hi.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
It's Jody and Bender. Good morning, Oh, good morning. Hi.
So we got some talkbacks over this past weekend and
it kind of creeped us out, and we're trying to
figure out the meaning of your talkbacks.

Speaker 5 (27:29):
Oh, that was just accidental.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
We're going to refresh your memory.

Speaker 5 (27:33):
Oh, I love you and I missed you. Is the
person that I want to hear some can you see me?

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (27:41):
That was unintentional. I apologize. Oh, okay, because the way
it came across, it appeared that someone was using a
weenie board and you contacted us from the other side.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Yeah, but instead she's a living person who just bought that. Oh,
I'm totally comfortable with that. No.

Speaker 5 (28:02):
I was just kind of messing around.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
With my phone and I didn't realize that's what was happening. Well,
creepy voice on fleek, well done, all.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Right, khab Seattle my Heart Radio guaranteed human.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
Everybody's Okay, that's fine.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Show he's ninety second news. Something isn't. Now that's kind.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
Of a letdown.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
That's how I mess around with my phone too, It's
a letdown. I turn it on, I pull up an app,
I press the microphone, and then I say I love
you and.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
Can you see me? Yeah? That that was an That
was an excessive butt dial. I don't know what she's doing.

Speaker 5 (28:49):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
Now, that was excessive. I'm not stressed out about it, though.
So you're good. You don't know me a pizza, right,
But if you gave me a pizza, that'd be cool.
I mean, can you have you? Can you have pizza
leading up to your surgery?

Speaker 2 (29:04):
There's no non pizza rules. You don't have to fast
before the yeah, like the day before yea. But between
now and then, between now and then, I can definitely
have a pizza.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
I'll bring it a pizza.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Bring me a pizza, will you. I'm not taking advantage
of this the way I should know.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
You shouldn't.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
I should walk out in the hallway and be like,
give me an INSTACRT card. Let's go, someone give me
one hundred dollars. He got all this brisky and ridiculous.
No I don't have a pizza. I can tell you
that much.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
I only got it to number three one times most
bread article list.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Well, we haven't checked it. Maybe I'm up, Maybe you are.
Many people got sick and tired of Jimothy, that no
neck bastard.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
Maybe promote me up to number one, but I'm not
going to stress out. Seattle Times did a story on
Jody and her breast cancer battle and uh Saturday morning.
She was the third mostly story on the website.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
After some important news and also Jimothy, the no neck
raccoon that everyone's freaking out about, that was number one. Yeah,
you're like, look who's beaten you.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
I'm like that. No, that's not what I said. When
I said, I said Jody a screen cap with my
comment of come on number one. Jody got as high
as number three. I will check it right now. You
say exactly where you are.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
I'll do The news powered by Carter Subreu a goal
in the second half of extra time with all that
Spain needed to win the World Cup. Now they get
fifty million dollars, but we got post malone. Jennifer Hudson,
Tom Cruise, Madonna, Shakira and the Muppets, Doctor Teeth and
the Electric Mayhem playing Seven Nation Army. You know who
My favorite muppet in Doctor Teeth's.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Band is Janie. You know Janice, though it was always
really high. They come on, man, you know Janis Is
and the Muppets Jody No under most red stories in
the Seattle Times the top five. Huh you have fallen
out of the fine damn it is there anything stupid

(31:06):
in front of me? Or it is all good news?

Speaker 5 (31:08):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (31:08):
Boweling scrapping their seven seven seven? The raccoon is it's
still at number two? Wildfire Smoke Roller Washington, another story
on Jimothy and uh the Sift Cinnamon employees walking out
before the Odyssey showing.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
Well, those are all very important stories except the two
stories about the no neck raccoon.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
That's cool, that's fine.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
I'm sure he's brought the city joy for twenty six morning,
twenty six years.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
What's fine? Everybody enjoy? I mean, what else can you
possibly do to hit number one? What else do I
have to give? I guess we'll find out. Wait until December.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
God, alright, why didn't stay patrols look d a child
at the center of the amber alert that we all
got on Saturday evening. Child's father is still wanted. State
health officials urging Washingtonians to donate blood if they can.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
M thought it was the boyfriend father. Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
The Washington Department of Health says blood supplies are running
extremely low and reminds us that a pint of blood
can save up to three lives. I wonder if Jimysey's
the raccoon has ever saved anybody's life. Probably not.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Mortgage rates rose late last week. Don't be bitter, No,
it's fine over.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
I know.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
It's amazing how he's survived with no neck when the
rest of the raccoons all have a neck. Good for you, Jimothy,
keep it going, guy. Walmart the latest in a line
of companies that have pulled Tailor Farms let Us from
their shelves following an outbreak of cyclostplore that's been linked
to the lettuce wholesaler. Now there are some new reports going,
oh it wasn't Taylor Farms let Us. That was a misreport.

(32:52):
But now nobody knows what to believe, and why would
you know what to believe anymore?

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Anyway? And can they go after the FDA for that?
Because they literally dragged their name through the mud and
made them public enemy number one for this. Yeah they could.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
I mean, you know who looks the best in this situation, Jimothy, No,
Jimothy the no neck record. No, the person who looks
for the company that looks the best in this whole
cyclistpor thing is Taco Bell.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
Sure, because they like, we didn't know, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Well, everybody started going it's because of Taco Bell. It's
because of Taco Bell. And Taco Bell was like, hey,
they pulled the lettuce. They took all the hits in
the front line, and it wasn't because of them, it
was because of the lettuce. So good on you, Taco
Bell and Sports Mariners took two of three from the Giants.
Over the weekend, they host the Reds. Tonight's stormhost Minnesota
to night. Sounders will visit Austin on Wednesday. Football getting

(33:42):
back to work with the arrival of training camp over
the next two weeks. See how crack and beginning their
season October first in Calgary. Their home opener is October
fourth against the Flames.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
Text did you see that the story went international on
the Daily Mail? The Jimothy story, the Jimothy story or
Joe the Jimothy.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Story hears about people when you've got no neck raccoons.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
For God's sakes, Culture Club would still have loved to
have been in that room.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
Well, if I'm Boy George, I'm like, look, guys, I've
been on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for all these
years because I'm PK's best friend and client. I've had
my name everywhere. Y'all can't get a table at Noboo.
So if you want to come on tour with me,
agree that it's Boy Georgian Culture Club. Otherwise I'll just

(34:30):
get some more backgroup players, right, but it's still Culture Club.
It's the original players. Yeah, it's the original group.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
Yeah. And would you pick any of them out of
lineup except Boy George? No, no, no.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
So if I'm Boy George, I'm like, oh, I don't
need any of this. But if you guys want a
little extra, you know, a little extra cheese, I'll do
this tour. But we're calling it Boy Georgian Culture Club.
You think any of them care, They don't care. It
means they could stop door dashing for couple of months.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
You think that's what's holding up the InSync reunion Justin's like,
here's the deal. It's gonna be Justin Timberlake and in SINC.

Speaker 6 (35:06):
And the other guys are like, now, I honestly don't
know what's holding one through the grapevine that Justin and
j C want more money and like they want it
divvied up.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
J C.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Well, j C was the original lead singer of INSNC. Yeah,
and he's also on a Meow mixed commercial.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
Wow, dude, I think that Justin needs to do it now.
His last tour didn't go very well. He blamed a
lot of his ineffects, his ineffectiveness ineffectiveness on his lime
disease diagnosis, which which makes sense.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
I thought it was the no no.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
But it causes fatigue and all this stuff. But ticket
sales weren't great. It didn't go very well, and people
would be really into an INSINC reunion and j C, like, bro,
I don't know how much they're given him for that
mixed commercial, but I can't be more than he get
for playing Madison Square Garden.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
Oh, it would be stadiums. They wouldn't be arenas. Okay,
you put in Sync back together again. They're doing stadiums. Okay,
all right, you got national attention. By the way, that
Daily Mail story was you and not Jimothy.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
What what?

Speaker 3 (36:19):
Yeah? The Daily Mail headline DJ shocks listeners by announcing
her cancers cancer diagnosis live on air, and the Daily
Mail is you not the raccoon with no neck?

Speaker 1 (36:30):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (36:30):
I didn't know. I was like, well, it's Jimothy. And
all the pictures. By the way, here's what I don't get.
All the pictures that you said that you sent to
the Seattle Times and they only use the one. All
the pictures that you talked about are unless they went

(36:51):
to your Instagram and lifted everybody's pictures because the national
let's see, the Daily Mail story, uh, is about you
and your cancer diagnosis. I just assumed it was Jimmy.
And it's the picture of you that is the thumbnail
from the YouTube video, and then you and then you

(37:12):
and a friend of yours at the gorge, and then
what looks like your house?

Speaker 1 (37:20):
What?

Speaker 3 (37:22):
And then there's a picture of you and me, and
then the YouTube video my house? What is that your house?

Speaker 2 (37:30):
What?

Speaker 5 (37:32):
What?

Speaker 3 (37:33):
The actual half? Wow?

Speaker 5 (37:36):
What?

Speaker 4 (37:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (37:37):
How about that?

Speaker 2 (37:38):
That's an old picture of it too, with an old
car and an old color.

Speaker 3 (37:42):
It literally says in parentheses, brothers home pictured.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Why in they.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
App would they pull a photo of my house? That's
kind of creepy, bro.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
I have suffered to not put pictures of whenever I
shoot videos of like my Olympic hotsub and stuff. You
never see my house. You never see the front of
my house. What a bunch of idiots? Why would they
put a picture in my house?

Speaker 3 (38:10):
Do they not think that we need discretion? I got
that crazy Ouiji bored lady who loves me? What if
someone wants to come over your stress level? I have
my stress level of a zero.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
Why was the Daily Mail puts a picture of my
house when I announced the breast cancer diagnosis?

Speaker 3 (38:28):
Do they think that to help us? That's a question.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
That's an old picture. Also, like, at least get the
new color. I got this gorgeous blue. Technically the color
is a gentleman's gray, but it's blue. Oh my god, bro,
what sort of British ferret is ferreting around on my
Facebook page looking for photos?

Speaker 3 (38:51):
You couldn't find a photo of me and my friends?
This he's one of my house. This is the headline
on the Daily Mail.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Beloved radio DJ I mean okay.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
Shocks listeners by announcing her breast cancer diagnosis live on
air and recalls discovery in home sauna that made her freeze.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
That's the headline, okay, Daily Mail, Well hate the headline.
Hate that you randomly decided to ferret around in my
business and grab a picture of my house. It's not
like it's some bel air mansion. Why do they think
that we don't need privacy?

Speaker 3 (39:27):
Well, I mean, at least they got the radio station.
They actually the radio station is a mentioned, but the show,
but the morning show is okay, that's good, bro. So
Jimothy beats you out here locally, but you did go
national for the Daily Mail. Well done duty and bender
actual head you wanna fill everybody, And this is what

(39:52):
you've been doing for the last ten minutes.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
I've been sending emails off to the Daily Mail in
every category you can contact them, and I've been saying
thank you very much for the coverage. But I don't
see why it's necessary that you put a street view
picture of my personal home, and can you please take
it off of the website. It is a safety issue.
What the actual half And I'll tell you something else.

(40:16):
I'm gonna be going into surgery and I won't be
able to protect myself with any of my weapons.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
What the actual half, that's the reaction that Jody live
on air finding out that her home was included in
the article. How creepy. That's creepy. And it's an old
picture too.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
They must have ferreted around and they pulled a picture
of my trip to the Gorge with my friend Megan
that was on my Facebook page. So I'm sure at
some point I put a picture of my house on Facebook,
but that was years and years ago, that street view.
That car is gone, the house color is gone, been years.

Speaker 3 (40:50):
If you were listening ten fifteen minutes ago when Jody
made the realization the actual half, you also heard her
get mad that the color of home is not current. Yeah,
and the landscaping is different anyway. Also in the landscaping,
we would have thought to put a picture.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
And in the in the story they say single mother
of one. So you've got a single mother with breast
cancer about to undergo surgery, and you decide to post
a street view picture of her home. Whose decision was that?

Speaker 3 (41:21):
What are we doing here?

Speaker 2 (41:21):
It's actually made me really mad and now I'm at
stress level seven. Yeah, we can't have that I'm supposed
to be at stress level.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
Zero zero zero. But between now and next Wednesday surgery,
we will figure out a way to get you a pizza. Yeah,
and to get your stress level down. You'll be fine.
Everything will be fine. What time is it in England?
I'm gonna call the Daily Mail? Hey, Siri, what time
is it in England? Right now? England and England it's full.

(41:51):
It's a great time. It's four forty one in the afternoon,
and they've got they've got a new prime minister. Yeah,
let's call these people. But it's it's the US version,
so at least internationally, they don't know where you live. Okay, perfect, good?
What the actual have We're gonna do it again tomorrow.
You know why? Why Because Jody and I have so

(42:14):
much pull with tickets. We'll do it again tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (42:18):
Let's come.

Speaker 7 (42:20):
Books fur it down the street, bo no sound, with
the sound of speech, she guns.

Speaker 2 (42:27):
Ready to go?

Speaker 3 (42:28):
Are you ready? Are you ready with this? Are you
hanging out into the scene.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
I have no way to fully strict.

Speaker 7 (42:39):
Another one bust the dust, Another one bust the dust,
and another one goes, and another one goes, another one
bust the dust.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
It hey, don't get another one busted.

Speaker 8 (43:03):
I don't think we're gonna get along. Would not do,
and you do took me I thing that I hadn't
take me out of loud, I said, standing.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
Remember.

Speaker 3 (43:23):
Another one buys the dosa. Another one buys the I.
Another one gone and another one gone.

Speaker 8 (43:32):
Another one bus a dosa.

Speaker 3 (43:34):
Heynother got. Another one buys.

Speaker 1 (43:42):
That.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
Go take it, but that's it.

Speaker 5 (44:14):
That.

Speaker 8 (44:17):
Another one busted dust. Another one busted dust out. Another
one busted dusty. Another one busted dust many ways that
you can have him man.

Speaker 5 (44:37):
And the.

Speaker 8 (44:41):
Fair leave the risday.

Speaker 3 (44:43):
I'm ready, it's ready for you. I'm standing on my counter.

Speaker 5 (44:50):
Business.

Speaker 8 (44:51):
Another one busts.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
Another one.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
No one done, one done.

Speaker 1 (45:28):
His words are crafted to perfection. Curse are out of
context on a daily basis.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
Creepy right, because it's like, why are you biting me
in the middle of the night, because it's in your room.

Speaker 3 (45:37):
That's when they get you.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
Jody and Bender Morning's ninety five seven checks.

Speaker 1 (45:49):
The show.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
Yeah, tell them what's coming up. We got the money,
We got the money.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
Your chance to win a thousand dollars will give you
the keyword, and then you take the keyword. Two our website,
seven the Jet dot com and when's that gonna happen?

Speaker 3 (46:03):
In like five minutes? In four minutes three two?

Speaker 5 (46:07):
What?

Speaker 3 (46:07):
Uhhh? Three minutes four at and then what.

Speaker 2 (46:18):
And then the replay of Peter seven showdown, very exciting stuff,
and then the Daily Bender Gazette and then your chance
to control the music we play with. Damn, haven't heard
that while. Use a talkback feature now and get your
request in early.

Speaker 3 (46:33):
That that's that's the.

Speaker 9 (46:36):
Yeah, seven the Jet Why it's Jody and we did
the song of today right, yes, Yeah, Daily Bender Gazette
is coming up. Damn, haven't heard that in a while.

Speaker 3 (46:52):
Coming up, get your last requests and now using the
talk back feature on the iHeart radio app, request anything
you want and Jody and I will play it just
so long as we like it too. Yeah, we have
to like it too. I just got this off the
talk back. Good morning, guys, Bender said, thanks flyes, I'm
from us this morning.

Speaker 5 (47:12):
I thought it wasn't quite awake.

Speaker 3 (47:14):
All right, you guys have a good one. She said,
what apparently, I introed Puget Sound Showdown and said, time flies,
roll back the tape. It is Jody Brothers, It's Bender
let's do time flies Brad in Silverdale. Mister big shot
sitting on four, I never would have picked that up.

(47:38):
Good for her. There's only two of us here in studio. Yeah,
there's no quality control. Clearly we are so dialed in.
Yeah that I said it and didn't realize it. You
heard it, didn't realize it. Now I'm busy doing other stuff.
It is Jody Brothers. It's bender. Let's do time flies,
Brad in Silverdale? Yeah, what else are you doing? I'm

(48:02):
emailing and texting the Daily Mail. The Daily Mail picked
up the Seattle Time story that I'm assuming that's where
they got it. They picked up the Yeah, they picked
up the Seattle Time story that they did on Jody
and Jody's breast cancer battle, and the Daily Mail took
it international. Well, it's the it's the US version, right,

(48:24):
took it national.

Speaker 2 (48:26):
They have the picture that the Seattle Times used. But
then somebody said, oh, ferret around in her Facebook page
and get some other photos. Well, they found a recent
photo of a trip to the Gorge with my friend
in May, and then a picture of you and I
from the radio station, and then a picture of my
house from years ago. And I'm not sure why somebody

(48:48):
thought that was a smart idea.

Speaker 3 (48:50):
My favorite part of this is that you're mad, not
only because they posted a picture of your home a
street view picture of my home, but that they picked
they posted an old one. And the colors. That's right.

Speaker 2 (49:03):
No, I have a beautiful I have a beautiful being color.
It's a blue, but it's called gentleman's gray. Listen, if
you're looking for a new beautiful shade of blue that
is deep and lovely, May I recommend, gentlemen.

Speaker 1 (49:22):
The Daily Bender Gazette.

Speaker 3 (49:24):
Now to you, my Olympic hot tail? What are you doing?
There's there's so many more questions than answers a man
in Florida. Kansas City firefighters responded to rescuing a man

(49:46):
who climbed inside a porta potty and couldn't get out.
Climbed inside for a good reason. Apparently this occurred at
a World Cup watch party. A driver for the porta
potty company discovered the man when he was collecting the

(50:06):
units after the event was he wasted and fell in
and couldn't get out. After the man refused to get
out refused to get out, A motorcycle cop who had
been driving by at the time was flagged down by
the porta potty. Guys.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (50:27):
When the door to the porta potty was opened, nobody
was immediately visible to the cop until a head emerged
from the tank. Firefighters had to cut the unit open
to free the man, who was then hosed down by

(50:48):
authorities so he couldn't get out. It's not that he
wouldn't get out, the man said, he climbed in. Huh,
I'm gonna give you. I'll give you three guesses as
to why he on purpose climbed in to the porta
potty to retrieve his phone. No, because his team lost

(51:10):
and he lost a bet. That's a great guess. No,
because he was looking for treasure, very treasure. No, okay,
what was it? The man said. He climbed into the
porta potty to retrieve a mountain new bottle that he

(51:31):
had dropped in the night before.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
A mountain dew bottle. That's it, my friend, You go
and get yourself a different mountain dew.

Speaker 3 (51:45):
Caused approximately eight hundred dollars in damage to the porta
potty when the fire department had to cut him out
of it. What a dumb reason to come?

Speaker 2 (51:55):
Was stuck in it now your grandfa watch that he
smuggled from Europe, even your phone.

Speaker 3 (52:05):
But like a battle of Mountain dew, how did he
get himself into it? This is yeah, by the way. Uh,
we did a Snowholmish parade on Saturday morning and where
we were, about thirty or forty yards away was a

(52:26):
porta potty and Mackenzie said she had to go to
the bathroom. So Mom took her off, and apparently they're
in the porta potty and Mackenzie said, and I'm paraphrasing
what Rachel relaid the story. So I'm just gonna go
in this hole. Yeah, yep, girl, bucking the parades, Just
go in the hole. How did the guy get himself

(52:50):
into and then not be able to get out? Like
his shoulders he got in I'm so squeezed his shoulders together. Bender.
Have you ever seen Ocean's eleven? Of course I have.
Remember the gymnast who shut into the bus so that
he could then emerge And okay, we're nowhere in here.
Does it say he's a tiny Asian? Who can do

(53:12):

Speaker 5 (53:17):

Speaker 3 (53:18):
He didn't. He didn't, He didn't He didn't just dislocate
his shoulder to do that. He was just limber.

Speaker 2 (53:24):
Okay, so if you were going to get into a
porta potty, you'd literally if you were a slender person,
you could step.

Speaker 3 (53:31):
In, right, but but there's not Okay, all right, okay,
al right, okay, all right, stand up, Jody is standing up.
You step in with one foot, then you go down.
There's no possible way.

Speaker 2 (53:47):
Yeah, you get in, there's no way, or and then
you go ahead, but then the tank if you go ahead.

Speaker 3 (53:54):
Foot, then the tank is only like like the like
the tank itself, like you can't get old like Yeah,
that's the size of a small box.

Speaker 2 (54:06):
Yeah, this is for a small person to do. Luckily,
nobody would ever ask me to do that because I'm
too substantial of a woman. But I could see how
a small person could manage it.

Speaker 3 (54:15):
Too substantial of a woman. There's too much here, there's
too much a woman. I think we've done everything. I
feel like we have tomorrow more Mariners tickets, more tickets
to see Boy Georgia and Culture Club not just Culture
Club an what else? Tomorrow. I'll be talked back Tuesday,

(54:37):
and that's all.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
And that's it.

Speaker 3 (54:41):
We'll wrap the show with your request as always, he
Jodian Bender. It's Sarah and Gig Harbor and I would
love to hear the bee cheese. How deep is your
love for Damn? I haven't heard that
