Speaker 3 (00:19):
Joy? The joy is there?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Yeah, here's more joy. Cloudy early becoming mostly sunny with
the high nineer seventy two. Its powered by Carter subrou
Good morning. You know, the US men's soccer team may
have lost to Belgium, but that game was watched by
about thirty million people, making it the most watched English
language soccer telecast in the United States. And here's more
interesting news. The festivities in Seattle concluded with no major

(00:42):
public safety incidents. And despite the scale and intensity of
the activity and how many people were here and all
the marching around town, there were no major disruptions. So
how about that look at us?

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Well done?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Everyone, Well done, everyone, excellent job. The city of Ording
is preparing its residents for planned overnight power outage Thursday
into Friday so Cruise can safely complete work on Kansas Street.
Do not freak out. We're telling you in advance. Ording
Aaran said it launched attacks on US military targets across
Bahrain and Kuwait in response to a wave of strikes

(01:16):
the US had initiated as punishment for attacks on ships
near the Strait of Her Moves. Yeah, it doesn't sound
like we have a peace deal anymore.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
So we so they say, they say they attacked us
because we attacked them, because we attacked they attacked us.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Exactly about it now, okay. The US also reimposed sanctions
on Iranian oil sales. Better run out and fill up
your tank this morning, because it's gonna get bad again.
The former Fizer building in Midtown Manhattan was undergoing reserv
renovations yesterday when structural columns buckled, prompting evacuations. They're doing
these office to apartment conversions in New York City, and

(01:53):
a lot of them get complicated. This one's no exception.
Eight nearby buildings were also evacuated while emergency crews assess
the situation. Doctors urging people to carefully wash fresh fruits
and vegetables after a parasitic outbreak sickened nearly one hundred
and fifty people across the country. Law and order, as
we usedtar mariska hargata. Shouldn't I put a sh in there? Marishka.

(02:16):
Don't we give her a sho It's yeah, I don't
know why I gave her just a should have? Yeah,
we give her a sh Anyway, She's gonna be the
first woman to host the Emmys in fifteen years. The
Emmys will air September fourteenth. Who was the last woman
who hosted in twenty eleven?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Amy Schumer, Chelsea Handler.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Jane Lynch, Jane Lynch, Jane Lynch twenty eleven. Yeah, it's
been a while.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Were you impressed? And I could just start listening them
off like that famous women? Yeah, I pressed myself with that.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
That's very good. Mindy Kaling, mister Beast, JJ Watt among
the guests Sharks for season eighteen of Shark Tank, still
one of the better shows in the world on TV.
The streaming promie of War Driver on Paramount plus, a
crime thriller with Dane Dehan and Sasha Calley. In Sports,

(03:12):

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Bender. Who's gonna win the whole damn bank Argentina? Yeah,
uh your Jodian Benders Song of the Day. More tickets
of the Seattle All Star Classic Celebrity Softball Game. It's
gonna be Saturday at Shady Stadium. I will be in attendance.
I'll be playing. You need to be there to chair
me All Americans. So yesterday I was out ranching. I

(03:39):
was putting more fencing up because the goats, as you know,
are arriving on Friday. And while I was out working
hard in the field, Jody was in West Seattle.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I was making a sandwich.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
I was thinking making a sandwich.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
It's funny, though, I was thinking of you, because I'm
pretty sure you don't like tuna fish, right, No, okay,
I rarely eat tuna fish, but I'm trying to get
more protein these days, so I'm like putting it back
into my routine. And I was laughing in my kitchen
thinking about you watching me make this sandwich. If you
were there.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Fish and mayo, Yes, you make it.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
You make tuna fish with the can of tuna and
then mayonnaise and then anything else you want to add
is on you because some people like different stuff in it,
like what like, for example, I chopped up celery, pickles, capers,
and tomatoes.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Not in there, not a single ingredient of the six
you've just mentioned that I like.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
I also chopped up red onion and horse radish.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Horse radish, I'll do maybe like shrimp cocktail. Yeah, but
it's not horse radish. It's horse rash mixed with something else, right, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I mixed it in with the mayoka in addition to
Djawn mustard and a little bit of everything.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Mushard dj and what the hell? Djon mustard isn't bad?

Speaker 2 (05:03):
No, it's good, Okay. So I got you with the
d Jon mustard. Then I put it on a Rye
bagel with hummus, and I was like.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Rye Bagel's not bad.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
I was like, if he saw what I was doing
right now, Like if he only could see me with
my chopper and all these like twelve things out on
the counter, he'd be like disgusted. It was the spreading
of the hummus where I thought about you. I was
just like, and this is the final insult. As far
as Bender would be concerned.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
I would take the plane rye bagel. Yeah, uh, but't
I toast it?

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Huh?

Speaker 3 (05:39):
A little butter, Yeah, that's.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Perfect, and then some Dijon mustard and you're out.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
I would bring that. I wouldn't put the mustard on
the buttered bagel.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
What about just like tune in mayo? You know what
was the last time he tried it? Because you like salmon,
so you like the way that fish can taste.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
And it's been it's been a while. I don't like mayonnaise, right,
and it's been a it's been a while since I've
had tuna.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Yeah, it's pretty good. Josh doesn't like it too much,
so he wasn't around yesterday when I made my absolute.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
And the kitchen must have smelled smelled, smelled organic, smelled nice.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
I liked it. But I was thinking of you, just
so you know, were you thinking of me when you
were putting up goat fencing?

Speaker 3 (06:27):
No?

Speaker 2 (06:28):
No, not at all. All right, maybe like lost to Belgium,
but that game was watched by around thirty million people,
making it the most watched English language soccer telecast in
the United States. And if you're wondering how things went
in Seattle with all those people and the scale and
intensity of activity in so many different locations around the city.
There were no major public safety incidents and no major disruption.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
By the way, the silver lining that is not a
silver lining of it being the most watched soccer game.
Why because yeah, but that's not a silver lining.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
But as far as interest level, it looks like people
were enjoying watching. Yeah, it would have been cooler if
we won, but we didn't. Firefighters now making a dent
in the containment of the Shellannehills fire in Douglas County.
As of last night, it's fifty percent contained. The fire
is sadly believed to be human caused. Seattle is doing
relatively well when it comes to stress levels compared to

(07:24):
the rest of the nation. I know, if you're stressed
out right now, you're going, yeah, right. But the website
analyzed multiple factors like unemployment, commute times, income, housing, affordability,
divorce rates, healthcare, and crime in the US's one hundred
largest cities. Guess where we were with all those factors.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Were at least in the top quarter.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Twenty fourth.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
You seen the list, I have not seen the list.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Fantastic, Yeah, twenty fourth among the least stressed cities. We
have a grade of B plus, so we'll take it.
That's not bad.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
I'm pretty good at this game.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
You're really good at this game. Cruz began draining the
Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool for the second time in three months,
the move coming after weeks of problems. The Magamillion's jackpot
continues to grow, with nobody having matched all of last
night's winning numbers. That means Friday, it'll be six hundred
and four million dollars.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Getting closer, getting real close.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
To get Jody and Bender Bayen.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
As soon as we get to seven fifty. Yep, they
get my twenty bucks.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Usps, increasing the price of a first class Forever stamp
from seventy eight cents to eighty two cents.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Oh god, god on, that's it. That's mail.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
I'll send out the stack of letters that I'm sending
today and then after that, no more.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Mes, sendes, just send emails right.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
The Britney Spears memoir The Woman and Me is being
turned into a biopic. The Pasadena mansion that served as
Bruce Wayne's home in the nineteen sixties Batman TV series
is on the market thirty two million dollars. It sold
for twenty and a half million just last year. The
damn is right, but it doesn't have any of the
Batman stuff. You gonna get twelve extra million on top

(09:05):
in one year, but you're not gonna get like the
bat cave and the and the pole and the whole
You're not gonna get any of that. Maybe it just like
sort of still smells like bats, but other than that,
there's nothing in there.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
It's the exterior shots and sports.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Mariners lost some of Marlin Lego gains today at three forty.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Thanks Jody for the information regarding the postage stamp price increase.
My Christmas card list just got sliced in.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Yeah, I don't know how you guys do that.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Don't know?

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Do what like have everybody's address and send out your
Christmas cards?

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Snap what I've got, all, I've got all my You
just upload the picture you want and hit go.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Yeah, but like you have to gather addresses, like a
couple times a year someone will be like, hey, what's
your address again?

Speaker 3 (09:50):
I'm like, somebody wants to send you love an affection.
You're like, ah, no, way ah.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
I like the Christmas cards in my My favorite Christmas
cards are the ones that include a family newsletter. I
freaking love those. It's like, you know, Julie and Jennifer
are doing this and that. It's like, who even remembers
all the crap you did during the year, Like good
for you?

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Any any family listening on the iHeartRadio app on the
East Coast? Every time you do that, nobody reads it?

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Really, yeah, I don't read the thing.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
I love them. It's like we went to Vegas, we
had lunch with you know, Grandpa, and it's like, are
you writing this in a diary so that you can
remember for the end of the year, because I couldn't
remember any of that stuff.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
A leftover that we got late birthday shout out for
time flies.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Hey, this is Denise and Bonnie Lake.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
I was calling to hopefully leave a shout out to
my daughter Damien, who is thirty three today. Love you das,
Happy birthday, Damien.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
There is a new job. The job has been posted. Okay,
I think we'd be pretty good at this together.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
We're gonna split, We're gonna do the.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Job we could We could do that.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Like an Abbot and Costello kind of thing. Are we
going to really do a job.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
That's the most current you could come up with.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Was a who's the comedy duo? Who is?

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Who's the comedy duo?

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Nobody?

Speaker 3 (11:25):
There isn't another comedy.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Is not like not one that everybody knows. I'm making
a joke about a comedy duo, Like I could name
some obscure ones, like you know, the Flight of the Concords,
but that wouldn't be funny. We're a great comedy duo.
It's Jody and Bender, all right. What's the job?

Speaker 3 (11:47):
Jeopardy is hiring a new clue writer?

Speaker 2 (11:55):
We fit the bill. We do this stinging crap every day.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
We do the stinking crap every day every day. You
know what the gig pays.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
For clue writer?

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Yep, I don't know. Sixty grand, sixty grand a year.
The this is crazy, Yes, you and I'd be perfect
for it because we write questions every day every day.
Some showdown Jeopardy is hiring a new clue writer at
one hundred and seventy eight thousand dollars a year? What

(12:30):
are you talking about?

Speaker 2 (12:31):
For clue writer? Only that's all they have to do.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
What is the typical salary for a writer of a
TV show? Because that's what this is, just because it's
the title is clue writer doesn't diminish the fact that
they're still a writer for a TV show, and being
that you and I have felt the wrath of getting

(12:55):
a question wrong, or a detail in a question wrong,
or the facts of a question wrong. Can you imagine
because it makes national news. Yeah, when Jeopardy screws up
a question right. So they're looking for a new writer.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
I bet they have interns who crosscheck and make sure.
The only thing that would be challenging enough to warrant
the price the one hundred and seventy thousand dollars are
the ones that are kind of like riddles, you know,
like the riddle ones. I never get those. But like
straight question writing, that's not a hard skill to have.

(13:33):
That's just like research. That's not like writing a TV
episode where you have to be creative and have a
joke writing skill. Not everybody can do that. I would
argue that most people could write questions for Jeopardy, not
the good like riddlely sing songy ones, not those.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Wanna be clue. Crew members must submit to the standard
Jeopardy Anytime online quiz, which screens for show contestants. By
asking fifty questions, you get fifteen seconds to answer each one.
Test takers must speak or type their answers. After proving
that you know what you're talking about, you'll be able
to You'll you'll have to then create twelve categories across business, food, history,

(14:18):
pop culture, and science. Then they'll bring you out to
a final Jeopardy class. I guess to see then fact
checkersul proved that they did it without the use of
AI or Wikipedia.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Yeah, I mean that that is true. Like you and
I when we read our questions, we're basically just looking
on the Internet for other questions and then copy those.
These are people who I guess are creating write them
all right. It is a skill. I take it back.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Text Penn and Teller text Tina Fan, Amy Poehler, text
the Smothers b text teen Martin Jerry.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
More like the Smothers brothers. Do you remember the names
of the brothers? Dick's mothers and who the hell was
the other guy? I don't know, But if I ever
start roller Derby, Dick's mothers is gonna be my name.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
June and vendor for pet paid Wednesday fireworks. It's not
just the fourth of July. They happen in June throughout
most of the beginning of July. And then there's the
people that leave their fireworks trash all over the park.

Speaker 6 (15:27):
For somebody else to clean up.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
I clean up our local park at five o'clock in
the morning every July fifth, so that the kids have
a safe place to play in the morning.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Yeah good, I agree with her. I don't know why
people behave like that. It's like, who do you think
is going to clean up all this mess? You're disgusting pigs.
I don't get that. I really don't.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
You disgusting pigs.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Yeah, the elementary school by my house was littered with
tons of.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
Stuff, disgusting pigs. I've never just like.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Made a pile of garbage and just walked away from it.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Sure, to America, you like that.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
It's just funny because you went from zero to one
hundred just like that. I understand that, But it was
just the way you said it, And I'm glad I've
got video of it because it was just you had
a very calm face of I tend to agree with
her because you get this, you get this, you get this,
you disgusting pig, and your face got all Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
I just don't get that. Like we all share our parks.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
What are you doing? Pick up your garbage doing? Pick
up your garbage? Disgusting pigs. Jody and Vendors Song of

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Oh really no, because I know you turned down my help.
And I'm a baseball mom. So I have like all
these things that you could like use for stretching and
warming up. I have special tons of special equipment that
I spent all of Josh's college money on. You don't

your wife.

Speaker 3 (22:09):

Speaker 2 (22:57):
You'll see who you want to hit it to.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
That's what he'll be pitching. He's not gonna be in.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
The don't hit it to any of the athletes. Hit
it to some of the other folks. Got any other
radio people out there? Hit it in their direction? No,
I know there's like a female wrestler or like if
there's comedians, like whoever's out there who is not an athlete,
that's who you hit it.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
That's who. I ha, that's the strategicy uh taxbender. Make
sure you know where the foul poles are and the
balls on the right side of the foul go away.
Of course I have to know where the foul poles are.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
You don't hit it foul. People be trying to help man,
people be trying to help you, Are they though? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (23:46):
Are they? Yeah?

We'll get to that. But it's Pet Peeve Wednesday. Make
sure you use the talk back Majure on the iHeartRadio
app and complain right now about anything that's bugging you,
anything that's grinding your gears. Doesn't have to be the
most important thing in the world. That's why it's Pet
Peeve Wednesday. Now powered by Carter subru Firefighters making a

The US men's soccer team may have lost to Belgium

She's random, right, that's random.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Like random that it's the first woman, or random random
that she's the host. She's the host.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
She's not like a comedian or she's not known for
her stage presence. Yeah, she's an actress.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
I think that she's making more of an impact in
different events where she's popping up and being like fun.
Like she was on Amy Pohler's podcast and she was
saying how she loves comedy and she wishes that she
could do more comedic goals, but nobody hires her for
anything except this, so she's like totally pigeonholes.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
She got thrust into the light with sitting court side
at all the Knicks games.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
Yeah, yeah, exactly, so she's like upping her coolness ratio.
Somebody was selling a bag of air on eBay that
they claimed was collected at Taylor in Travis's wedding.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
Man, how much can't we think of this stuff?

Speaker 2 (26:45):
How much was the bag of air selling? For fifty
thousand dollars? Somebody yanked it off eBay, but there was
a website called NYC garbage dot com that was selling
trash that may have come from the wedding or its guests.
Items included fabrics, soda can tops, and even a single
air pod, all for twenty five dollars apiece. In sports,

(27:07):
Mariners lost to the Marlins. They go get today at
three forty storm Dream tomorrow. Sounders host Portland tomorrow. No
World Cup games today, but the Corner Finals begin tomorrow
with the final eight France, Morocco, Spain, Belgium, Norway, England,
Argentina and Switzerland.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
Let's unleash the complaining pet peeve Wednesday. Next on the Jets,
The Jets time for America's favorite past time, complaining, Get
it off your chest. It's Jody and Bender's pet peeve Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Yeah, I have a great.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
Pet peeve for you. Okay. It is when you have
a booger hanging out of your nose and nobody tells
me about it.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Yeah, why do they do that? That's not good friendship.
You got to tell somebody.

Speaker 6 (27:47):
I know, Like that should be a rule of friends
and family, shouldn't it.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Yeah, some people are just they're embarrassed for you, and
they're embarrassed to say the word booger, like they feel
bad for you. If they felt bad, they would tell you.

Speaker 6 (28:00):
Yeah, they could be given you looks or something.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
Some kind of hints too, but they don't until.

Speaker 6 (28:04):
You Good morning, Jody and Bender, love your show. Love
you guys. My pet peeve is I haven't heard Jody
add to her file lately because it's hilarious when she
does it, it it cracks me up. Thanks bye.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
I'm sure he's been collecting little bits and pieces. Really,
we could go punch the meat together. There's that one.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
And that's only from two days ago. All right, I'm
sorry if I'm letting you down with.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
He's doing it, he's collecting it. We could go punch
the meat together. It's a pretty good one. We still could.
You know, man, you're going to put that in my stupid.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
File, aren't you. Man?

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Those don't get hot to the time you can put
your tongue right on it. I mean, you'd never want
to put your head on that thing. Quite small in person.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Jody's out of context file, and it's quite quite big.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
And they never taught you how to wheeld it.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
What I have six years of randomness that we've taken
out of context.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Just need to rattle it around a little bit. A
random cratch was attached to your back?

Speaker 3 (29:26):
What I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
I need to get all my clothes off and pour
ranch dressing all over myself. What you just rammed that
into my salt and peppa?

Speaker 3 (29:38):
Oh yeah, yeah, there's pounding, pounding, pounding, right anything else?

Speaker 2 (29:44):
You're a car guy. Do you know what you could
do with a raw potato in a car? What was
the answer to that?

Speaker 3 (29:53):
I don't have any control over it. It's Jody, Jody
tells me when to play the song.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Of the day. Missus Robinson by Simon and Garfuncle.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Haven't played it yet. That's their pet, Peeves. No, not
not not knowing it.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Well, it's gonna be sometime in the next hour.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
When you hear it, be CALLAR nine and you get
to go to the Seattle All Star Classic Celebrity Softball
game Saturday at Cheney Stadium. Do you have a pet peeves?

Speaker 4 (30:18):
I don't understand when people get to a fast food
restaurant and they're ordering and they sit in their car
trying to figure out what they want to eat. Didn't
you know what you want to eat before you got there?
I mean, you did drive up to the Windy's or
the Jack in a Box or McDonald's that you want
to go to, but you still don't know what you
want to eat.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
It's a good point.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Well, No, I have to comment on this one because
I don't get fast food that often, so when I
pull up the board is shockingly confusing.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
There's so much information.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
A place I most recently had fast food at McDonald's.

Speaker 3 (30:50):
You don't know what you want to McDonald's.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
No, I rarely go there and they change the menu
and sometimes they have.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
It's a quarter pounder, it's a big mac, it's a
burger fries.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
I know what the standard is. But sometimes they have
like new specials and new exciting things, and it doesn't
matter how well they think those boards are organized. For
people who aren't usually there, it's a shock of information.
So when you pull up and the person's like, well,
welcome to McDonald's. What can I get you, you're just
like ooh, and like maybe you know what you want

(31:21):
to order, but at a place that you don't go
to that often, like a Sonic or like a Carl's Junior,
like whenever you pull up, so don't tell me.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
I order the same thing everywhere I go. It makes
no difference.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
Well, that's your Sittiday.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
It's either going to be a burger, cheeseburger, or chicken nuggets.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
I enjoy a special burger or a chicken sandwich, or
you know, a specialty cocktail or whatever they're doing McDonald's. Yeah,
I'll take a Gin and tonic please.

Speaker 7 (31:47):
Ronald, Good morning, Jody and Bender for pet Peeve Wednesday.
My thing is if you've heard or you know about
a pregnancy and a family and you overheard it don't
be that person to start spreading the news anywhere. Come on,
leave the joy for those sharing this wonderful news for real,

(32:10):
Come on now.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
For real, Yeah, come on now morning.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
I don't know if you have done pet peep yet,
but my pet peeve is when you're at a grocery
store somewhere public and you have to go to the
bathroom and you go to the stall and it furst
before you hadn't fleshed the toy so you can see
the business.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
I don't like to see number two business, but number
one business is no big deal.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
The men's room here at iHeart Seattle has been broken
for over a week now.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Somebody clogged the journal, both of them, which can you
please explain how that happens, because it isn't only one
thing going.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
That is correct unless somebody backed up into it. I
don't know. But both there's two stalls and two journals.
What goes in the journal and both your journals are broken?
But like I don't know, am I am I missing something?
Because you you just try.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
To one of the number one you walk up and
you go, hey, how are you don't look at my
penis and the right I've never been in a mensory.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
It's like you're there, id ND, brand new video is
up on our YouTube channel YouTube dot com slash at
Jody and Bender go watch that comment like help pushing
along the algorithm as we're still trying to monetize our channel.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Yeah, man, I hope we get there. How many more
views do we need?

Speaker 3 (33:39):
But one hundred thousand?

Speaker 2 (33:41):
Right? Well, if everybody who's listening right now would just
view it, then we'd only need.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
There are nine thou that's right. Uh, there's three hurdles
that you have to clear to get your YouTube channel monetized.
The first is one is you have to have it
lea least five hundred subscribers. We have that and we
have over twelve hundred.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
Then you have to post at least three videos in
the last ninety days. You've done that, and then you
have to have something like three million watch hours? Is
that right? Three?

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Hold on a second, that's what's problematic.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
That can't be right. I want to make sure I
have because I want to make sure I get this.
Let's see the three hurdles. Yes, we're at twelve hundred
and seventy four subscribers, three videos uploaded in the last
ninety days. We need three thousand, not three million. We
need three thousand watch hours.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Oh so that's pretty attainable.

Speaker 3 (34:46):
But it's but it's over a ninety day period. I
think it's a it's a what do they call that,
it's a it's a moving goal thing where it it's
not from the inception of the channel. It's every month
or so you have to it's a rolling average. It's

(35:08):
a rolling average. And we're at two hundred and eighty
seven public watch hours. We need three thousand. Listen. I
just I don't I mean, we're consistent. Maybe it's the content.
Maybe we suck.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
No, no, I don't know. In addition to people watching
today's video that you posted and liking it and subscribing,
I have a recommendation. It's going to put us over
the top.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
We need some cameras and we need them to start
rolling on the farm on Friday.

Speaker 3 (35:35):
Oh yeah, we need goats that we could do goat
cam the goats. We have six goats and two sheep
arriving on Friday afternoon at the Bend rout.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
And I have two extra blink cameras that I can donate.
That way, you're in charge of the goats, and I
gave you the cameras, so it's a team thing.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
I don't know. I don't know if the blink cameras
will reach the Wi fi. That's the only issue.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
Don't you have comcasts? You got trash WiFi up there
on Folbes Hill.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
It's it's it's like it's far enough away where I
don't know if it's going to reach.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
Well, maybe one of those extenders, one of those do hikys,
one of the do hikies.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
Yeah, but uh but yes we will allowed to be
cameras or videos either way. YouTube dot Com, slash at
Jodian Bend.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
One of those constant feeds, yes, where people can just
like we do a live feed, be freaky and just
like stare at the goats all day, not freaking in
bad Its only fans. Yeah, for farm animals, well, you
know those bald eagles in California had like millions and
millions of people watching them. Birds just sitting there.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
On our Instagram by the way, at Jody and Bender
a video or it's actually just it's an image that
was posted and the comment underneath it reads a Jody
bru there's spirit animal. The picture reads a California woman
caught kayaking down a flooded street and a stolen inflatable pool,

(37:09):
drinking Margarita's and singing karaoke. That's what she looks like.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
That's my girl. Look at her. Had the best day
air damn life doesn't even care at all. Wow.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
So there you go. So yeah, go go to our
YouTube channel and there's plenty of contact.

Speaker 2 (37:25):
I've had it. It was a pretty deep sigh.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
Because I'm kind of over it. I know, I'm over
posting on the YouTube channel because all of our stuff
goes viral on Instagram, A couple things go on viral
on Facebook. Can't get anything to go viral on YouTube.
And as my son, who is a YouTuber and a
successful one at that, says to me, oh yeah, man,

(37:53):
it's a beast.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
It is grind. You gotta be working at it. That's
why we gotta do this goat thing.

Speaker 3 (37:59):
That's why we gotta do the goat.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
You can get the camera on constantly rolling. People can
come in and leave whenever they want. They can always
watch the animal.

Speaker 3 (38:08):
Can you I don't know if I could do a
constant YouTube stream. Can you do that? I mean, I mean,
I know I can go live.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
They have people on Twitch who sleep and people tune
in to watch them freaking sleep, so we could do
that either one of those two.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
I'm gonna be very protective over the animals, though I
don't know if I want, like, you know, creepers.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Stealing.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
What if it pays the bills.

Speaker 6 (38:32):
Jack, you should totally do it.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
Bender.

Speaker 5 (38:34):
It's not like you're gonna have some random people coming
in milking your.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
Goats out of context. That's weird, sure is. Jody is
suggesting that come Friday, when the goats and the sheep
arrive on the ranch, that I should set up a
YouTube live stream to boost the morning show YouTube numbers
because who can say no to goats and sheep? And

(38:59):
I said, I'm going to become very protective of the animals. Yeah,
And I don't know if I wanted to have a
live stream and people just you know, peeking in on
the animals.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
Well, you could turn it on and off as you will,
so like when you go down there to do like,
you know, whatever business you're gonna do, like clean it,
mucking stalls or whatever you want privacy before, you could
turn it off.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
Mucking yeah, stalls, right, define mucking stalls when you clean
them mucking. Never heard that before in my life.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
Yeah, it's when you clean the stalls.

Speaker 3 (39:30):
Are you making this up?

Speaker 5 (39:31):
No?

Speaker 2 (39:31):
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
I are you though?

Speaker 2 (39:33):
No, you should totally do it. Bender.

Speaker 5 (39:35):
It's not like you're going to have some random people
coming in milking your goats.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
Mucking stalls means cleaning out a horse's living space by
removing manure. You're in soak bedding and wet spots to
keep the environment hygienic. Essential gear includes a shavings fork,
a wheelbarrow or a muck cart, and fresh replacement betting
like wood shavings.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
Am I the only one, by the way, that spent
their entire life thinking was wheel barrow and not wheel barrow.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
You know it's funny. I listened to a podcast and
they were doing a live event and this exact conversation
came up and half of the people thought that it
was wheel barrow.

Speaker 3 (40:11):
I think I thought it was wheelbarrow.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
It's not. It's wheelbarrow.

Speaker 3 (40:15):
I know that. Yeah, wheelbarrow. I always thought it was
wheel barrow.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
It sounds like wheelbarrow, barrel. Wheel barrow sounds stupid, it does,
and barrel is a word that we're all familiar with.
Although it's one of those words where if you say
it a couple of times, you're like, what am I
even saying?

Speaker 3 (40:33):
Barrel? Barrel?

Speaker 2 (40:35):
You know those words that sound like nothing after a while.

Speaker 3 (40:37):
Tartlet tartlet?

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Does tartlet sound like one?

Speaker 3 (40:40):
That's a friend's episode, tartlet tartlet? Word has lost all meanings? Right, yeah,
wheel barrow scanning the globe to find the noos.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
You didn't know you needed to know, you know, daily
Bender Gazette.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
Now here's bender. How's you buy? Olympic Hota?

Speaker 2 (41:00):
Better you, better life?

Speaker 3 (41:01):
This is not necessary? And then they appealed it and
were told, no, oh, something went through the Courtshi, why
did you just seductively put on? That was weird? That
was that was weird. It was random, really bad timing.
It was very bad time. And why did you look
at me like that?

Speaker 2 (41:22):
Because I was looking at you because we're on the air.

Speaker 3 (41:24):
Right Yeah, no, no, but you looked at me. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
I wasn't going to stop putting on my lip clock
Why am married?

Speaker 3 (41:29):
I continued to put that? Was that was oncalled for?
What is that?

Speaker 2 (41:34):
I have this very cute lip gloss? It's in a
great it's in great packaging. And I like to take
out the little thing and I like to apply it,
and you know. And I was only halfway done when
you looked over at me and started the break, and
I thought to myself, put away the lip cloths. But
then I thought, nah, just finish, just finished. All you
have to say is better you, better life. For the
next ten seconds, you should be good. So I said

(41:56):
better you, better life. And then you were like why yeah,
but why then? Right? I don't know. I was like, oh,
lookloth squirrel. Yes, that's a thousand percent.

Speaker 3 (42:07):
What happened a family on its way to a funeral
in Illinois, Syracuse, New York, Okay, They got a fifty
dollars traffic ticket for running a red light attached to
a red light camera right. The family appealed it but

(42:31):
was denied.

Speaker 2 (42:32):
They're part of a funeral procession.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
Part of a funeral procession?

Speaker 2 (42:36):
Do they still do funeral processions where you have the
thing on your car and there's a police escort and
everybody drives in a line. I haven't seen one.

Speaker 3 (42:43):
In a while. The last funeral procession I was in
was my dad's, and we had more than a police escort.
We had every fire truck and police car, but we
didn't have anything on the roof. We did we have,
you know, the hazards going.

Speaker 2 (42:59):
Yeah, it's been a while, but I'm pretty sure that
you're awarded some special, you know, special privileges.

Speaker 3 (43:08):
The funeral director said, processions traditionally stay together through red lights,
a custom respected for more than forty years. Yeah, I'm
assuming this is in Syracuse, but that would be nationwide.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
And then the police block the intersection and the procession
keeps going when there's a red light.

Speaker 3 (43:26):
Apparently, funeral processions are exempt from red light camera violations.
This according to a city spokesperson who said, they're going
to review the ticket. Okay, so are you reviewing the
ticket because you're getting bad pressed because the court said no,
and then the family went, wait a second, took it
to the news. Yes, and now the city's going, I'm sorry,
all that are bad. But it got to the point

(43:49):
where the funeral home has now changed its route to
avoid cameras.

Speaker 2 (43:54):
Yeah, yeah, I mean that's easier so that they don't
end up with this problem. Obviously, Syracuse trying to pinch
and get that good Syracuse Parks money from people who
just lost a loved one.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
That's not cool, Syracuse. Not cool Syracuse.

Speaker 2 (44:08):
Just another reason not to root for you guys in basketball.

Speaker 3 (44:15):
Oh sure or otherwise? Okay, program is done. Tomorrow, more
Mariners tickets, more tickets to the Seattle All Star Classic
Celebrity Softball game on Saturday, Chaney Stadium.

Speaker 2 (44:27):
I'm gonna get your softball workout in.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
I will get my softball workout in today.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
The fencing, the fencing is all done. That was that
was an undertaking.

Speaker 2 (44:38):
Yes, So if there's fencing during the game, you're going
to be the star player. If there's like a running
bases competition, somebody else to handle that when Rashid Schaht
do that one. But if there's a putting up fencing competition,
that's me.

Speaker 3 (44:51):
You're the guy. I'm the guy. You got the guy.
I can't believe.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
There's a good fencing competition during this softball tournam.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
Fantastic one of the chances, one of the kids, and
other stuff. Tomorrow. We did get a text to five
two three O nine saying for Joan Osborne's birthday in
time flies, can you play one of us?

Speaker 2 (45:13):
I love Joan Osborne.

Speaker 3 (45:14):
I mean, do we we don't have to have the
talkback for that.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
No, that was that was that was a message.

Speaker 3 (45:20):
That was a message. I wasn't sure if because if
it wasn't done through talkback. Talkbacks typically the only way
you can get a song on for.

Speaker 2 (45:27):
Guess what, buddy, your name's on the show. You can
do whatever you want.

Speaker 3 (45:30):
It's second on the show. But sure,
