Speaker 1 (00:00):
Where is And I meant to look this up. It's
out of Virginia, is it? And I feel, honestly, I
feel stupid because I've never heard of, like the little
town name Kilmarnock, kill Marnick, Kilmarnick, Northern Neck. Oh okay,
should I know that?

Speaker 2 (00:17):
I thought it was kind of well known.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
I didn't. I don't know the town name. Oh yeah,
there it is all right, very good? Can they they
can hear me there? Well, they can hear all of
us there. Yeah, yeah, I should be able to now. Listen,
yesterday we got lucky. Yesterday we got lucky when we
were looking for David Severs. Scott Severs, Scott Devers, that's it,

(00:41):
and we got lucky.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
What's wrong David Sever No.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Whatever, I'm on my head.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
You know who really enjoyed him?

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Who's that?

Speaker 3 (00:49):
My mom? Oh? Really he was tuned in yesterday?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Oh wow, it's yeah. What's not to like? The guy
was awesome?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
And like he or you said he was egotistical? You
were joking because he was incredibly humble.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Oh yes, very much, so very much.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
She said it was the first time she recognized a
band's name on the show.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
So anyway, I don't know that we're going to find
this lady. Her name is Tarlie t A R l
I E. Tarlie Silva s I l Va Tarlie Silva.
All right, I would like to find her. Maybe some

(01:39):
maybe maybe some of her friends are listening. How old
is she? I believe she's early thirties, thirty three ish,
thirty fourish. I'd like to find her.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
What is her story?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I don't know what to make of her story, right,
I don't know what to make of her story. So
so going back, this goes back a little bit, and
then we'll get to the current. Right, she was getting married.
This is back in the day a little bit. Twenty
nineteen is when she got married. Okay, December twenty nineteen,

(02:18):
now before she got.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Married, three years after any lady.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Before she got married. Hey, KRISTI, will you do me
a favorite? Keep an eye out in case anybody knows
Tarlie Silva, Tarlie Silva. So she's getting married. It's December
of twenty nineteen. Before she gets married, she goes on
her bachelorette weekend. She and some of her some of

(02:44):
her girlfriends. Oh did I not give the number? Sorry?
Eight six six to Elliott eight six six two three
five five four six eight. They go away for the
weekend for like a bachelorette weekend. They went to North Carolina.
Don't ask me where, Please, don't ask me where, because
I know my.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Mom was at yesterday when she heard Scott all right,
so Charlotte for her. Scolop's a specialist.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Anyway, Anyway, the so she goes away for her bachelorette
party to North Carolina, her and all over girls. And
while they're there, they're having fun and they meet these
three guys who are also in Charlotte or in North Carolina, right,
and they end up bs and then they're talking and
nothing's going on, right, they're not. They're not like, you know,

(03:36):
like hitting on each other, Like there's no like my
like you know, like doesn't count if you're on your
bachelorette weekend, Like there's none of that going on. But
one of the guys that's in this group, this group
of three who were there golfing, is a guy by
the name of Julio. Julio is his name. So anyway,

(03:59):
Tarlee's group in Julio's couple of friends, they end up
talking and they're like what are you doing here? And
she's like, Oh, I'm here for my bachelorette party. What
are you doing here? And he's like, Hey, I'm here
with my friends. We're going we're golfing whatever. And they,
you know what, they have a good night, they have
a couple of they have a couple of drinks, are
hanging out, they're having a good time. Julio seems like
a really nice guy. She goes, hey, you know what,

(04:22):
why don't you come to my reception? Just make why
don't you come to my wedding reception?

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah, so not something that she was having the next
day and calling that no, but.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Why don't you come? Why don't you come to the
wedding reception?

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yeah, this is a map, which is very odd, very odd,
very odd.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
How many people are talking.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
I don't know how big the wedding is. I don't know,
got to be hundreds. It doesn't sound like it was
five people. And I'll tell you why. But anyway, so
she's like, so again, they're having fun. There's something kind
of cool and spontaneous about that.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Okay, she had a good feeling on him.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Now it would also be very awkward to go home
and go Hey, jack so listen, I had the best
time at my bachelor party's the weekend, move some tables,
the we met a couple of girls. I invited them
to the reception. Jackie would not be happy.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
I can't imagine even telling lindsay, I talked to a
bunch of girls.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Hey, there's nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
That's why I didn't.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
That's not the right Scott think. Would Scott think it
was odd if you came home and we're like, hey,
me and like the girls.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Like, nothing happened. But I met the coolest guy.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Right, and he's coming to the recept. I invited into
the reception. I invited it into the reception, and he
would be like, is he coming, Like, I don't know.
I just invited him. And that's the other thing they
don't know. She invited Julio, but but it wasn't like
Julio was like, well, you know what, let me put
it in my phone. He was like, sweet, that's so,
that's really nice.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Is his name Julio or Domingo?

Speaker 1 (05:55):
So anyway, anyway, so she's telling she gets back from
the weekend and she's telling everybody, Hey, I met I
met these people. I invited Julio to the reception, and
everybody's like, that's freaking odd, but whatever, So everybody knows
that Julio has been invited to the reception, which I
feel like DIM's a little bit the hey, I'm getting

(06:15):
married part, because there's all this craziness about this guy
that she met at the at the at the bachelorette
weekend and he's.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
The only one you said, of the group, what do
you mean that's invited to the wedding.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
I think she invited the group, all the guys. I
think she invited the group. I think she invited the group. Goodness,
very odd. That would be very hard for me to
explain to Jackie. And Jackie's not a jealous person, but
it would be very odd to go, I came home
and by the way, guess who's coming to our reception?
Like that would be odd, And listen, I'm not a
jealous person. If Jackie came home from like a girl's

(06:50):
thing and was like, oh, I met this guy named Doug.
He's coming to the reception, I'd be like, oh, my
goddamn dead body he is.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
But yes, clearly y'all have a problem with it. But
are there people that are just that friendly that this
wouldn't even raise an eyebrow? What do you mean, like,
would someone you met out on a trip four or
to your wedding?

Speaker 1 (07:17):
You know what? I think I am that person, but
not for a wedding. Like if it were that's what
we're talking about. I know, like like, hey, this isn't
like a potluck come up to DC and hang out
like yeah, like that would be cool.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Like Christen's incredibly talkative and chat you up. But would
you even do this?

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Whoa depends would would would Scott?

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Would?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Would Mike be pissed?

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Depends on who it was?

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Oh a dude? Yeah, would you be pissed if Mike
was like, hey, oh you would be okay? So Gander
Goose not the same, Yeah, you'd be pissed. It's just
an odd thing to say I met a guy and
he's coming to the reception.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
I still want someone listening who maybe did this to
feel bad.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Is there anybody listening who did this? Is there anybody
listening who's done this? And I don't mean like no, no, no, no, no,
well yes, but.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Let me like we don't even know the rest of
Charlie's story.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
The no oh I haven't even gotten there yet. But
like if you were, if you were getting married at
at a hotel, right, you're getting married at the even
next door, and everybody's there, and like the rehearsal dinner
night or the night before, and you start bsing with
another group that's at the hotel and you're like, I'm
getting married and they're really cool people, and you go, hey,

(08:45):
why don't you swing by the reception that I can
see that I can see it's it's then everybody's there.
Your wife or your bride to be is there, or
your your husband to be is there. It's the next day.
It's not like I'm getting married in a month. Why
don't you come to the reception? You know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Like it's in the moment, married in a month in
another state.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yeah. Yeah. So anyway, fast forward, Charlie gets married to
her husband and I don't have her again, I don't
have his name. I don't have his name. She gets
married to the guy, and the wedding goes off without

(09:30):
a hitch. They get to the reception and everything's fine, right,
everything's going well. They probably did the money dance, like
whatever's going on? And then all of a sudden, like
over on the side, this commotion starts. Oh my god,
you're here. Julio shows up at the reception, and now

(09:51):
Tarlie has told everybody about Julio. Julio walks in like
he's a goddamn celebrity.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Yeah, not the groom, Say again, not the groom.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Well, I mean, he had his moment.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
This is why I wouldn't let Elliott do a reading
at my wedding. You take any of that spotlight, I'll
kill you.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Julio walks into places going crazy. And Julio's a fun guy.
Clearly he got invited to the reception.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
He does sound pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
So anyway, nothing happens right, everything's fine, Everybody has a
good time, Tarlie and her husband. The night ends up.
You know, some people take some selfies with Julio, Like,
everybody has a good night.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Who's that guy? I don't know, it's Julio.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
Julio.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Yeah, he was awesome.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
It was awesome. So anyway, Julio leaves. She leaves like
everything is fine. Six weeks later, Tartley sits down with
her new husband. But this doesn't feel right. Six weeks

(10:59):
this doesn't this doesn't feel right. Yeah, like, I just
and then then Tarlie, to her credit, was like, I
kind of had these feelings going into the wedding. I
bet they started at the bachelorette party.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
You don't know that.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
I don't. I don't. That's editorialized, and Charlie, if you're listening,
I meant nothing by it. They decide after six weeks
this ain't gonna work. Boom done done. Now. I don't
know what the process is. I don't know if they
annull or whatever it is. But it's over. Yeah, it's over.

(11:36):
And I guess on Instagram Charlie makes it clear that
she's single again.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
What does Julio reach out?

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Well, you noticed? Yeah, yeah, I mean I saw on
your Instagram? Would you like to get dinner.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Down by the school yard?

Speaker 1 (11:52):
I thought the same thing. Guess who's happily married and
has two kids? Really great story. Wow, you didn't expect
that ending. No, you didn't expect that ending.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
I sense there being trouble with the wedding we knew about.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Yeah, I don't even know that guy. No, no, no, see,
I disagree, I disagree. I don't know. I don't know
that she invited Rando's because she thought that that marriage
wouldn't last, or that she had cold I don't even
want to say cold feet. That it wasn't right. I
think that I want to believe they were going to
hit the skids no matter what.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Did she ever throw around the word soulmate with Julio
like she just felt it at the bachelor party?

Speaker 1 (12:39):
No, no, no, I mean not publicly. So it was
she told everybody about him.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
It wasn't No, I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
I mean she was she was like, listen, obviously, Julio's
a ton of fun. I invited in by a wedding
at the bachelorette party, and he reached out to her
and was like, hey, I was wondering if you'd want
to get dinner, and she's like, yeah, are you the meal?
And so they they end up, yeah, married with two kids.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
They live in Virginia. Some people had mixed feelings.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Oh like the groom's family or that they do.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
I mean six weeks it's short.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Yeah it is. But is that just when you know.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
You know, I think in some cases, yeah, when you.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Like, there are no shortage of people who were married.
It could have been for a year, two years, five years,
and they'll tell you I knew on my wedding day
this was never gonna last, but I was so far
down the conveyor belt I couldn't back out right, so
it could be five years. And in their stomach they
were like, I knew standing at that altar or the

(13:48):
hoopah or whatever. In my heart, I knew this was
never gonna last. But we had set out the invitations.
I'd already invited Julio, like all these things that were
going on, you couldn't stop. So there's some people that
think it's very romantic, right that it was just it
was just meant to be this great guy that you

(14:09):
met at your bachelorette party and you were like, this
guy is so much fun. I want to invite him
to my wedding. It turns out to be the guy
that you end up being in love with and having
a family with. And then there's other people that are going,
that's a dick move.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
It's romantic in a way i'd like to see portrayed
by Ashton Kutcher and Britney Murphy. It's hard to label
that when it's real people.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
Well, it is real people.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
I know it's hard, but Ashton Kutcher was playing a
part in a romantic comedy. Right, I'm hesitant to call.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
It romantic, So what do you want to call it? Mean?

Speaker 3 (14:47):
It sounds like it's ready for Hollywood.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
And then other people go, would you have known that
you wanted to end your marriage if you weren't secretly
pining away for this guy? And even if it was,
isn't in your head? It was in your head?

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Oh? Does the invite come because she saw the horizon?

Speaker 4 (15:11):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
I don't know. I don't know, but it's an odd one.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
I did say she invited a bunch of ye friend.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Oh, no one else can I don't think so. No,
because when he walked in, everybody was like, Julio.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
I'm the groom. I mean, I'm joking about Domingo, but
it sounds honestly like Domingo.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
By the way, if I'm the groom, I am freaking hot.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
I'm angry.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Yeah, no, I'm not hot for Julio. Also no, I'm angry.
I am angry.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
But Sam writes, I can one hundred percent see myself
doing this with an invite.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
My wait, showing up or inviting someone inviting someone being Charley.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Now Sam does say, my now ex wouldn't have even
batter than I though, maybe just rolled one lo l
because that's Sam's personality.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Wow, I mean, I can't imagine. I can't imagine. And again,
I'm not a jealous person. If Jackie rolled home from
bachelorette weekend with stories of this great guy that she
met who's coming to my wedding, by the way, I'd
be hot, Like does that make does that.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Make me song on seating charts?

Speaker 1 (16:28):
But does that? But does that make me sound petty? Normal?

Speaker 3 (16:31):
Definitely not petty at all.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Okay, it's just odd, like if I had gone if
my bat well, like, if it was one of the
girls from Camelot from my bachelor party, she'll pay great
on the dance floor. The Yeah you think Jackie would
have been cool with that? Hey Jackie remember my public
bachelor party. Yeah, one of the girls I think her
last name McGee, the I invited. She was so cool.

(16:56):
I invited her to the receptions. Either that or Dolly?
Where am I going? Line one? Hi Ellie in the morning.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
Hey is this me?

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (17:05):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Who's this is Lisa from Pasadena? Hey Lisa, what can
I do for you?

Speaker 6 (17:12):
Okay, so totally invited Randa's to my wedding, and after sharing.

Speaker 5 (17:17):
The rest of your story, maybe I should have paid
more attention to them. We got married in Ocean City,
so we were a party in the night before.

Speaker 6 (17:24):
We had already paid for a bunch of people to
drink and eat, so we're like, you gotta come on over,
you can come to the wedding. So from that side,
it doesn't sound so crazy.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
No, And I even said that, like if you were
with a group of people the night before the wedding
and everybody's having fun and they're like, oh, congratulations, that's awesome,
that's great. Hey, let's buy the bride of shot like
all of that. Like I get that, And then you're like, hey, listen,
why don't you guys come to the reception. We're all
staying here, we're going to be back at Secrets tomorrow.

(17:54):
And everybody goes, I get that. That actually doesn't when
I say, doesn't bother me. But I could wrap my
head around that. But if you were getting married in
Ocean City and six weeks before that you were in
Denver for your bachelorette party and invited somebody, people would
think it's weird. I thought you were gonna say dewey,

(18:16):
people would think it's weird.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
I would definitely think it's weird. But I am that person.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
You know.

Speaker 5 (18:23):
The only stranger is the person. You know, My only
friend is a stranger. However you say that?

Speaker 3 (18:28):
How you say that I never met a stranger?

Speaker 1 (18:32):
No? No, isn't that if you walk into a room
of one hundred people you don't know, you leave with
one hundred friends.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
That kind of thing exactly so from the party fact.
But yeah, six weeks later and you're like thinking about Julio.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
I mean, I like the ending of the story and
so romantic. You know, my divorce. I would love to
have hung out with those guys a little longer.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Maybe how long? What happened? Did you know? Did you
know at your wedding night that you shouldn't have done it?

Speaker 6 (19:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Yeah, see, I'm telling you that's pretty common.

Speaker 5 (19:08):
I'll be totally honest. Good, I haven't even listening, but
I'm old. I'm ready to have my kids, and you know,
if it doesn't work, we have one hell of a party.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Wait, I'm sorry that was that was your attitude going
into the wedding?

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yeah? Did you did you get the kids?

Speaker 5 (19:25):
Tell?

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (19:26):
I've got two beautiful fifteen year old twins.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
And by the way, nobody will recognize your voice. You're fine,
all right, all right, very good, very good, Thank you, ma'am.
There you go.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
Can I say on record that I have never looked
at a stranger and thought it was a friend I
haven't met.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
No, but you know what I get that. That's my
younger one.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Yeah. My older one goes into a room of one
hundred strangers. He's like, oh my god, I hope there's
somebody in here. I know. My younger one goes in
and goes sweet, here's a hundred new friends. I don't
even go in the room now, can't make it. Hi,
Elliott the morning. Hey is this me? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (20:14):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Who's this?

Speaker 4 (20:16):
Hey? This is a Mike. So on my bathroom party
we did we did bottle service one night, right, we
went international. Grew up in Canada, and our bottle service
waitress was like awesome, right, I mean, not only was
she like an absolute smoke show, but she was also
just like a ton of fun to be around, Like, right,
was partying with the boys. Just more shots in her
mouth all that. Right, So we go home. You know,

(20:38):
I'm getting ready for the wedding or whatever. And I
had given one of my buddies who was on that
bathroom party a plus one. So what does he think
would be really funny to do is to reach out
on Instagram and invite our bottle service waitress at says
plus one to our wedding.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
The same situation got to the same situation. I wasn't
the one that exactly instigated it, so I kind of
skated by and thought the whole thing was hilarious. Uh,
but I had to reach out to him, and I
was like, listen, dude, you have to keep this under wraps,
like nobody knows except for the groomsman. In the past,
the guys are on the bachelor party like, we are
not We're not We're not exposing this to everybody, which

(21:14):
is kind of funny.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
How long how long did it stay? How long did
the reception until it came out from under wraps?

Speaker 4 (21:22):
So I would say most of it, but there was
kind of this subtle giggle the whole time of like
all the guys like holy, I cannot believe that she
is here, like awesome, Like hey, poor shot in my
mouth right and it's like no, no, don't stop that
about that, right?

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Hey, can I ask you this? Does your how long?
How long after until you told your wife?

Speaker 4 (21:39):
So, my wife knew going into it. I had to
circle that right right as soon as I knew it
was going to happen, and she and she and she,
you know, she wasn't too thrilled about it. But at
the same time, you know this friend of mine, he's
the type of guy to do that, right and you
know so, Hey.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
Just out of curious, where where was your bachelor party again? Hanada?

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Montreal?

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Which which bar? Wait? Hold on, I'm gonna give you two.
If the answer is yes, you're a dead man. Were
you at Wanda's or Sex Express?

Speaker 4 (22:13):
No? No, no, no, it was an actual, an actual supper
club answer your question?

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Oh okay, all right, very good. Wanda's. Wanda's is a
very nice place, but like, for whatever reason, they tell
the women you can't wear tops like it's it's crazy.
It's crazy. Sex Express. You already know what you're getting into,
all right, dude, I appreciate it. Thank you.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
Supper Club. By the way, you know, Mark Simone.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
I know a groom zilla that would have lost his
mind if one of your groom's been showed up with
the I now, I know you didn't have a bachelor party,
but if you did showed up with the girl from
the bachelor party.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
This just came up the other day. I didn't like
people who abused their plus ones.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Oh because they weren't a serious relationship and brought new
boyfriends and girlfriends. I like that one. That's a good bit.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Oh my goodness, that's a good bit.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Am I going here, Hi, Elliott the morning.

Speaker 5 (23:12):
All right.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
I think you guys are missing what might have been
the most incredibly awkward, entertaining awkward aspects about this. Imagine
going to the second wedding and being.

Speaker 2 (23:22):

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Oh that's good. I didn't even think of that. All
her friends are back, Oh my god, danced like don't
I remember that guy dancing at the last wedding? Is
he eating the plates that got her from last time?

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Already?

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Good? And weddings are always awkward.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
But when he was the guy at the first one, there.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
Was like, who's that dude?

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Oh man, that's gotta be a hell of a party.
