same ball for one hole. II can't. It is kind of your

a hole with the same ball becauseI get frustrated because I don't want to

these two guys. Joe Jenkins introducedhis friend Gary Kallis to the new sport,
which is growing in popularity. Itwas founded in Massachusetts, but they

asked Richmond athletes to help market thesports to potential new players. Jenkins said,
I started in twenty twenty. Igot a targeted Instagram at and I
was like, Oh, this seemsfun, this would be cool to show
people. Then I picked it upand I never looked back. Each player
is armed with a single lightweight flingstick. And a golf ball instead of

swinging a club. Jenkins and Calloussay the best way to hurl the ball
is from tree to hole. Oh, tee to hole. So you're playing
on a real golf course, Yes, I'm golfing. There is limited real
estate. When do the fling golfersplay when there are traditional golfers on the

got into the sport. You know, how do you guys saw on the
other news review. I got intothe sport a few months and inside of
my first professional tournament. I'd onlybeen playing for about a month or so

at that point, and I wasalready in the top thirty in that tournament.
So I know, you guys arediscussing learning curve. It's very very
easy to learn, the very hardto master. Yeah, I would believe
that. And listen, if somebodywould have come to me and said,
hey, you know what's going tobe a very very popular sport, pickleball,

I would have said, you're oncrack. There's no way, and
now look at it. So WhenI saw this, the cynical part of
me wants to go, nobody's gonnado this. But then I look at
it and go, yeah, whynot? This makes total sense? And
then I saw that it's really growing. I was like, yeah, let's
go. Yeah, dude, I'llput it you this way. I've worked

in the Dolph industry for about fouror five years. You know. I
was a manager at Top Golf.I was a clumpfitter. I did all
that stuff. And then when swingDolph strown at me, I was like,
no, this is sick because itcombines more athletic aspects into a game
I already liked. So why not? Is you said the learning curve it's

quick to learn, hard to master. Is that what you said? Correct?
Correct? And can you answer Tyler'squestion like, let's say you let's
say we go to I don't know, I can't name golf courses. I

to the crossing up in Glen Allenand I was paired with a guy and
his daughter. I was throwing myball further than the guy was actually hitting
his driver, and when I tellyou, he was kissed. It was

one of the funniest experiences I've everhad. Wait a minute, so you
just real you just jumped in withsomebody who was playing regular golfs and you
fling golfed it. Yeah, yeah, that's yeah. You can. You
can get paired up with people ata regular golf course. You're throwing a

ball, You're there's no modification tothe golf course or what you're doing.
The only the only difference is howyou're delivering the ball to the course.
That's the only difference. What's thefling golf version of putting a bottle the
hall from hundreds of yards away?Oh that's a good question. What is
what is the fling call? Like, like, I get that I'm throwing
the ball towards the hole, buthow do I how do I do if

I land on the green? Howdo I put it in? So there's
a couple of pads on the onthe head of the floor stick both on
the other left and the right sideof the head and you put it like
a regular putter. There's a littlething you carry called a putting slug.
It's a tiny like pouch that holdseither a couple of golf balls, maybe
some heavy ball bearing things like thatadds a little bit of extra weight to

the head. To that way,it feels more like a traditional putter.
Now, depending on what side offlints that you have, you can modify
your grip however you want. Butyou can cut just like a regular putter.
So that makes sense. Because Iwas throwing it into in my head,
I thought I had to throw itand roll it, but no,
to put it in. I likethat. That's a good twist. But

That was a highly adaptive sport.Inside of half an hour, I had

kids going bombed over one hundred yards. Well, you know the other That's
the other thing that I was goingto say, is like, for example,
the and this was kind of likeat the tail end of COVID,
like there were families that would neverplay tennis together that were going out and
playing pickleball together because mom, dad, the kids, everybody can do it.

Like they've gone out and golfed andstuff like that. But this would be
something the entire Seagull family could do. We could all go out and do

But we do have rules. Soif I'm in a track, I have
to do what called either a fivecar or a shot that allows me to
see more like that short game shot. But we're coming up with ways where
you know, we can get theball out of the sand. But you

have to establish these criteria. Yourfeet has to be planking, it has
to come out of the sand withone clean motion. Or you can take
the ball out of the sand trap, go five steps behind the hazard and
shoot with a one show penalty.You got its, Well, how about
just throw the goddamn bull out ofthe sand? Is it's you're not then

dealing with the element of the bunker. You're not You're not dealing with why
you're not dealing with those issues.So we have to find Oh, I
see that would hurt a normal butI'm not playing normal golf. The whole

off the shelf stock at six hundreddollars or more, is it really and

get a flake stick brand's thinking new, you know, highest end model for

about two hundred bucks. You haveyou a backpack, a water bottle,

translate to a course well. Normally, when I'm on a golf course,
I'm not up on a third storywith a beer in my hands. So
yeah, I don't count heated couches. I don't wonderful, I don't count.
I don't count top golf as golfing. Top golf is fun, expensive
but fun, Like that's just havingfun. But like say says, calling,

serious. I would not be able. I would struggle with myself not being
