Speaker 1 (00:00):
Uh, Nathan, I've been listening to you since I was
a kid with my dad. This is a this is
an honor.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Oh awesome, I appreciate it. Thank you.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Hey, Ethan, did you did you did you wrestle in
high school? Uh?

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yeah, I wrestled, uh for league when I was in
middle school and then my early years in high school.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Okay, cool?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Hey, So let me ask you this is there in
in high school? Is there a is there like an
etiquette thing in terms of you don't celebrate a win?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
You know what I mean? Not not that you don't celebrate.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
Like be showy about it. You mean, yeah, I guess
so like be a sore loser.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Well, you don't want to be a sore.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
I mean I mean a sore winner.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Right, No, I get what you're what you're saying, Ethan,
Is that is that a case? Is there is there
an etiquette to winning?

Speaker 6 (00:52):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Yeah, absolutely. Normally after your match winner lose, uh, you
shake your boat in pan, your hand gets raised up,
you get to see who the winner is and uh
to try to keep your composure. If you go crazy
about it, then you might get in a little bit
of trouble. But you typically walk over to the other
coach of the other team, shake their hand, and then
go back and start rooting for your buddy who's on
the mat and neck.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
So you wouldn't you wouldn't.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
You wouldn't express any joy in the fact that you
just whip someone.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah, I mean, well, you just won't around or you
won your match, So of course you're gonna have a
bit of excitement in you. But there's no jump it up,
screaming going crazy if you do that. I've never seen
anybody get any repercussion for it. But there's definitely an
etiquette to it.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I got chat.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I would definitely say so, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
No, that's good to know. That's good to know.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
You know who comes to mind immediately? Who is the
track kid?

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Who the local kid?

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Who kept getting crap because like he was is it Brody?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Brody?

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Very good?

Speaker 6 (01:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
You went to Georgia, right, I think so.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
But remember like he would cross the finish line or
before he crossed the finish line, and they were everybody
was all up in arms like, and that's all he did.
He just like put his arms up or whatever. Like
at one point, wasn't he like waving to somebody? Yeah,
And I just remember, everybody got pissed. Everybody got pissy.
But is wrestling very similar to that in that you don't.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
To a certain decorum.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
And the only reason I think that is is it
because listen, you just whipped someone's ass.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
I mean when you did? You want to fight? Sorry?
A match line three? Thank you, Kristin Hi Elliott in
the morning.

Speaker 6 (02:36):
Hey, what's up, belly? Longtime listener here? I heard you
guys need a wrestler to call in. I wrestled my
whole life and became a pro wrestler for a while,
trying to continue my dad's legacy in the w w S.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Who's your dad, Big John stud Yes.

Speaker 7 (02:52):
Even Elliott knows that is Wait a minute, your dad.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Your dad is Big John's light. Hold on, here's didn't.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
You didn't you grow up in like Burke slash Springfield?

Speaker 6 (03:04):
Yep, we grew up in Burke. I wrestled that like Braddock.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Okay, yeah, I was gonna say because he I remember
in high school somebody lived like right in like the
same cul de sacer Court as Big John STUDT was like, no,
you don't.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah, wait can I see can I see a picture?

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Wait?

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Hold on one second, that lets everybody calm down, and
I'm mostly talking to Tyler.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
We are we talking to Big Sean Studd?

Speaker 6 (03:29):
Yes, hey, yes you are Tyler. Your damn right you.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Are, Ellie. You know who his dad is?

Speaker 3 (03:36):
I want to see a picture just so I can
recognize him.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Okay, yeah, I know who Big John Studd is. Dude,
that's awesome. Hey, so, and your your name is Sean.
I'm guessing based on the nickname.

Speaker 6 (03:52):
Yes, yes it is.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Now forget the.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
W W E part, which is which is a lot
of show? I get that in high school. Like in
in high school wrestling, is that is there is there
a certain decorum that comes along with winning?

Speaker 6 (04:11):
You know? Is this related to that? To the picture
of that girl smiling when she pinned at her opponent, Yes,
that was yes, Yes, you know I wrestled before the
age of social media. Yes, back then, you know, you win,
keep your head up, you shake your opponent's hand, shake
the opponent's coaches hands, you try to be a class act.

(04:32):
Now social media has changed everything, and I don't agree
with what that girl did. Now I understand why she
did it in the age of social media, if that
makes sense.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Now, one other thing, and then I'll explain because I
know that unlike unlike Big Sean stud in US, not
everybody has seen the picture.

Speaker 7 (04:52):
And then I have some follow up questions. I'm related
to the news story? Or do you t how men
to get this out of the way right now?

Speaker 6 (04:58):
No?

Speaker 2 (04:59):
No, no, no?

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Is your were Were you really trained by Booker T?

Speaker 6 (05:03):
Yes? I was. Booker T is the man? So literally
I'm not.

Speaker 7 (05:07):
I'm not allowed to. We can't elaborate, Elliotts And we'll
get right back. We'll get one more. One more question.
Is your build height accurate?

Speaker 6 (05:16):
What does it say on the internet?

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Are you really six ' ten?

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Now?

Speaker 6 (05:20):
I'm about six six Damn, damn.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
That's why I said build heights.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Hey now now let me ask you this. Can you
explain and then I'll explain what this whole picture is.
That that that Big Sean stud's talking about? What is
what is a leg cradle?

Speaker 6 (05:37):
So that to be honest, I wrestled two fifteen in heavyweight.
You will never see a guy in my size doing
a leg cradle. But basically that's just you know, there's
moves where you can throw in your legs that they
call thrown in the hooks, where you kind of ride
your opponent and then through that you can get them
into it's called like a banana split and things like that.

(06:00):
She just I mean that girl, you know, regardless of
the picture, that girl is a stud. I mean she
to be able to put your opponent in that. And
I think that was a state finals match or a
I don't think that was just a regular match. I
think that was from like a high end tournament. So
for her to do that, I mean, she is a beast.
She is a stud. So I will not take anything

(06:22):
away from her for doing that. Now again the whole
picture and smile it. Like I said, before the age
of social media, I get it. I personally I wouldn't
do it. But you know, I'm an old man. I'm
thirty four. I'm basically an old man now, you know.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
So the picture so this, so this girl puts her
opponent in a leg cradle, and.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Sean explained that.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
And then while while this girl's getting essentially counted out,
the winner girl puts her hand on like her her
hand on her in her hand and sees a camera
and smiles for the camera. Girl, and it is it
is a cute picture. The Internet is losing their mind.

(07:07):
About how can you do this? This is class list
and listen, I don't know what the rules are.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
I watch people help one.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Of my favorite hockey players of all time scores and
jumps into the glass like you're supposed to celebrate. This
girl is just smiling, like and she's not like fist pumping.
She's literally got her chin in her palm and she's
smiling at a camera. Yeah, just not even smiling, just
a little smirk of a smile. And everybody's losing their
mind about what a classless bitch this girl is.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Yeah, I mean, you know, celebrate after you get off
the mat. That's the way I look at it. You know,
you shake your opponent's hand, shake the opponent's coach his hand,
and then celebrate after you step off the mat.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Hey, then let me ask you this.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
If you don't want me to celebrate on the on
the mat, why didn't you whip my ass?

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Boy?

Speaker 6 (07:58):
You know, I guess, yeah, that's great point.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
The uh now so, but but so you I do
like that as an answer, though, Sean, that you can
you can appreciate it for how it is now, but
for how it used to be. That would have never
that would have Booker T would have been angry at you.

Speaker 6 (08:20):
Well, Booker T, that's pro wrestling. He actually probably would
have encouraged that. But my high school coach probably would
have kicked me off the team. Not kicked me off
the team, but I would have been running sprints the
next day of practice for damn sure.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Interesting. Hey, can I ask you this? Diane's husband?

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Wait, would would would they have wrestled against each other?

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Now?

Speaker 5 (08:39):
He said, he's only thirty thirty four?

Speaker 2 (08:40):
I gotcha.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Hey, did you used to have to cut weight like
Diane's husband used to have to cut weight? His coach
would tell them to wear like one of those suits
and go masturbate in the car.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
Yeah. So when I was wrestling, those suits, I think
they're called Sona suits or something. Those were strictly banned
when I was wrestling, but there were a lot of
times where I had to cut weight down to two fifteen.
I kind of walked around about two twenty five two thirty,
And I mean it's literally just kind of you're starving
yourself those days leading up to that whatever that match is,

(09:11):
the weigh in for the match, and I mean you're
eating barely nothing. You're working your ass off you are.
You're not wearing a sonoituite, but you're wearing wet pants,
wet herd. You know, probably a couple of layers under that. Now,
it's nice because once you get towards the end of
the season, they give you extra pounds. So you know,
once you get towards, uh like, towards the end of

(09:33):
the season, you're allowed to weigh in one to two
pounds overweight, depending on Yeah, so there are Now. That's
how it was when I was in high school. That
may have changed. I don't think it has, but you
know it, who knows.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
Six six and two point fifteen though seems skinny.

Speaker 6 (09:47):
Right I was at high school, I was about six
three six four. I grew in my body. I kept
growing in my twenties. I was when I wrestled for
Booker T. I was three hundred pounds.

Speaker 7 (09:58):
Oh my god, dude, he's second generation giant, okay, Jesus Tyler.

Speaker 6 (10:05):
Yeah, that was a big boy at my twenties. I'm
still a big guy. That is a little more fat
than muscle now.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
But whatever, I'm not gonna mess with you. Hey, what
what do you what do you do now?

Speaker 6 (10:16):
Big Sean so I'm glad you asked. So I do
a commercial sales for cur To Pro Painters. So if
you guys ever need your need your office painted, your
studio painted, call curt Of Pro Painters at Springfield and
I'll be happy to come out and give you guys
a price.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
All Tyler wants me to do right now and say, hey,
will you come paint the studio.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Or how about a residence?

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Oh, do not take a call from a Molnar. Do
not take a call from a Molnar. All right, here's
what I want to do. Can I get well two things.
Number one, I want to get your I want to
get a number to get in touch with you for
two reasons. Number one, if any wrestling questions come up
from me, if you hear from a Tyler, don't answer

(10:58):
from me. Also, if somebody call it was like, hey,
I wanted to get the house painted. I want to
be able to give a recommendation.

Speaker 6 (11:05):
Oh dude, hell yeah, hell yeah? Should I give the
number over the air? Wait?

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Hold on yeah, hold on, No, don't do that because
then Josh will hear it.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
All right, hold on one second, hold on one second.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
That's kind of cool, kind of.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
So can you pump handle power slam me.

Speaker 5 (11:25):
I mean paint my foyer.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
So wait, Diane, that was the big rumor at R.
It wasn't even you went to school. It was the
same school.

Speaker 5 (11:38):
It wasn't even a rumor. I remember my friend Chris
saying like, yeah, there's a wrestler that like lives in
my cul de sac.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
This is you know what this is.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
This is like finding out about Grizz from thirty Rock
living in Woodbridge.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
Oh, you know what this is. This is finding out
about Joey McIntyre two days ago. Diane is just living
amongst celebs.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
I'm kind of dialed in.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
She's a NEPO baby.
