Speaker 1 (00:00):
Pull up that the Skyzone story.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Yeah, it's out of Woodbridge.

Speaker 3 (00:03):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (00:06):
Police there searching for three teenage boys who broke into
the Skyzone trampoline park early on Monday morning. They think
it happened just after two thirty am. They said it
was three kids jumped around on the trampolines and then left.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Now, obviously you don't want to condone that.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Now, that is at an unlawful entry. Yes, but nothing
was stolen and apparently there was no property damage to
report it, right.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
And again you don't want to condone that. But how
awesome is that?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
And they said they got right, they got into like
the roof hatch.

Speaker 5 (00:40):
Well, they probably didn't have keys.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Okay, I didn't know that there was a roof hatch there.

Speaker 5 (00:46):
Yeah, no, no, But I mean it's probably an escape
like an egress if you need to get out of
there and so.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Or I don't, I don't, I don't listen.

Speaker 5 (00:54):
I don't know if you have to be able to
get in from above. But how great is that? I mean,
again I'm not condone. Did what they do is wrong, yes,
But if you're going to break into a place and
they didn't steal.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Anything and damage anything.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
No, they just got in to jump around.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
You as a child, dream of opportunities like this.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Yeah, that's like, yes, one hundred times better than pool
pool hopping. The then what I said, that would be
one hundred times better than pool hopping.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Oh, we used to break into pools all the time.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah, or you hop a fence, Yeah exactly.

Speaker 6 (01:25):
I wasn't even thinking about breaking into something, but just
it's really all I'm thinking about being able to do
something by yourself or with your friends and take over
something that's cool. And you think about that. The mall
used to be one of those places, but.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
You were never going to get the mall towards By
the way, if I could break into a mall, dude,
mall now, yes, I'm with you, But you're talking about
like you're going to a lame mall and there's nobody
there and it's you and your friends. I'm talking about,
like break in in the middle of the night and
it's you and your friends and you're in the mall.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
That's awesome. That would be great.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
So is the image that's being used as the thumbnail
for the new story. Is it that's not from the
night right? It's a little confusing.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Because they said it was three.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, there was three.

Speaker 6 (02:17):
There's a bunch of people in you see, like five
kids and an adult.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
Yeah no, that's a that's a that's a publicity picture.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I wouldn't want mal would be good.

Speaker 6 (02:26):
To be featured in this store.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
What if somebody goes, oh, hey, hey, oh you broke
into sky Zone.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Oh that's Louis.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
No, that was stuck footage.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
What else, Like if you're a real little kid, a
toy store would have been awesome.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
But nobody, no, no kid go into a toy store
is old enough to break in? Kristen, will you do
me a favor? Will you find me somebody.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Broke into someplace cool?

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Like mall is great, Mall is great, sky Zone fantastic.

Speaker 6 (02:56):
But when you say toy store, like yeah, as a kid,
I dreamt of having a shopping spree in a toy store.
Sure where it's like you can go down any island,
just pull stuff in your cart. But I was always
thinking about it from a legal standpoint. Yeah, well no,
but I wasn't plotting how to break into these places.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Yeah, but people break into places a couple of years
ago there sim well, you see, if you can find
me somebody that broke into someplace cool please eight six
six to Elliott eight six six two three five five
four six eight.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
But I mean we told we were talking about the
Orioles and how they.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Ruined earlier cards.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
Right, there are people who broke into Camden Yards in
the middle of the night.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
That's awesome. That's awesome. Are you gonna get in trouble? Yes?

Speaker 6 (03:38):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Am I condoning it? No? Do I think it's awesome? Yes,
I'd put movie theater up there. Movie theater would be great.

Speaker 6 (03:48):
What are you doing there?

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Walking around? Give them popcorn?

Speaker 6 (03:55):
So it's just about like at the SZ the mall.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Nothing, you're walking around the.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Mall, window shops.

Speaker 6 (04:05):
Well, you sometimes do it a mall, you're just getting
to do it.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Just walk around to us.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
If I'm going to skys one, I'm getting to jump
around on the tramplants and things like that.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Oh so then you need like a like a like
a pool hole. That would be hot theater.

Speaker 6 (04:19):
I guess you could play arcade games that they have
some in the lobby.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, but even those are lame at this point.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
Would getting into an arcade be cool?

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yes? Yeah? God yeah, god, yeah, that.

Speaker 5 (04:32):
Would be great and I know it's mall, but it's
mall adjacent food court.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Why again, get closed?

Speaker 5 (04:41):
I know, and everything's closed at the mall, but it's
still you can at least watch look at things through windows.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
As opposed to you just coveting. Coveting taeketos.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
We stre handing out?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Y what about? What about?

Speaker 6 (05:01):
I can't believe you're not referencing anything from your past.
Not that I remember that you've done this, but it
seems like something you and your friends would have trespassed
to do.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
No, the only thing, the only, the only place I
ever broke into.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
But it wasn't. It wasn't in the middle of the night.
It was it was empty, but we we we did
get into it.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
The Energy Stadium where what is it now? A Llegian
in Houston, Menino and I walked just walked in. But
it wasn't in the middle of the night.

Speaker 6 (05:35):
This is kind of like sky Zone and high school.
Group of my friends, about ten of us were hanging
out in an industrial area. We always pulled everyone's door
handles just for the hell of it. And one night
the indoor gymnastics studio was open.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yes, yes it was, Yes, you got match, you got
a pham pit. It was a phone pit.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
Ten pm. We jumped around and drank beer for hours.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
That's great. That's a good one. That's a good one.

Speaker 6 (06:02):
And doesn't sound that they got in trouble car dealership again,
what your ideas suck?

Speaker 5 (06:09):
Well, oh, I'm sorry to walk around and sit in
all the cars, that would be awesome.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
I'm a teenager.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
Yeah, you want to do something that's more rambunctious.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Yea, your example was walking around the walk all.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
That's an actual activity.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yes, it is getting my steps in.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Where am I going? Didn't he used to be?

Speaker 5 (06:35):
And I'm I'm sure it's changed, but didn't he used
to be at the mall like they like some malls
had security that would ride around in the parking lots.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
But wasn't that because didn't some malls weren't they required
to keep.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
A door open, like because there was always going to
be like somebody from maintenance, there was going to be
somebody from trash.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
There was gonna be like people that were going to
need access, and there was Yeah, instead.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
So much for not so much for like inventory, I
don't think, but I feel like, like you know where
the bathrooms are down that long.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Hallway where you're like, yeah, just go ahead and mug me.

Speaker 6 (07:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
Like all the way down there, there was always a
door that kind of you had to go through a
double door, but then you were outside. I always felt
like I'd heard those doors had to stay open because
if you were ever there late, that's always where you
would get filtered. Like that when they would put the
gates down in front of like I don't know what
your anchor stores were, but when it came down in
front of Dillard's, you knew that you had to go

(07:32):
out that side door. And I was always told those
doors stay unlocked because there's people.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
In and out all night.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
I always appreciated the we may not have bathrooms aesthetic
of them all. They're never out in the open.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
No, because you don't make money there. You don't make
money in the bathroom. Hi, Ellie in the morning, why
is this me? Yeah? Who's this Stephanie? What'd you break into?

Speaker 7 (08:03):
So my friends were a manager at a movie theater
and a bunch of us went in at like one
o'clock in the morning and watched the movie.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Oh that's awesome.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
So they had she had access to be able to
start movies.

Speaker 7 (08:17):
Yeah, she was one of the main managers.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
That's good, and.

Speaker 7 (08:22):
Yeah it was great, but that's not.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Really didn't she also have keys? Like, is that really
breaking in?

Speaker 7 (08:28):
Well it wasn't quite breaking in, but yes, but we
did it after hours.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Oh that's note, dude, I remember a thank you.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
I remember when I got a key to win Chime's
eight and you have big deal. I have a key
to get into a movie theater whenever I want. It's
a huge. Now, you did have to run and turn
off the alarm, but half the time the alarm wasn't on.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
Now, No, I noticed that pulling on handles. There's something
I never did. God, oh you guys did I was
saying that, thinking that maybe we were all on the
same boat.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
If you're a teenager and you're walking by anything and
it's nighttime, you try to open the door or did.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
You not used to?

Speaker 1 (09:16):
We never did that to people's houses.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Did you not used to check the coin slot in
a payphone? Because oh, that's not my that's not my nickel.

Speaker 6 (09:23):
I used to hate and they pulled them out. But
I used to hate at kujinis when my kids would
turn the prize like the quarter prize machines to see
if something would still fall. It's like, that's not yours
to take.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
That's normal kid behavior.

Speaker 6 (09:39):
I know, Diane, but it drove me nuts. I don't
I don't like behavior.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
Do you get mad if your kids body slam themselves
into a vending machine to see if a bag of
chips will fall.

Speaker 6 (09:49):
I would body slam them right back.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
One of the first lessons my kid learned. You want
those uh, you want those chocolate chip cookies? Throw your bike?
You want to?

Speaker 6 (09:57):
But is that because they pay for them and then
they got stuck? Do you know this sun?

Speaker 2 (10:03):
You want?

Speaker 1 (10:03):
You want to learn how to body check? Hit that machine?
That's not stealing?

Speaker 6 (10:08):
What is it stealing?

Speaker 5 (10:10):
As if like you crawl inside the machine it fell,
I don't know. Is it stealing? If a if a
if a suitcase not a suitcase? Asha of money falls
out of the sky.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
So line ten, Hi elliot in the.

Speaker 8 (10:28):
Morning, Hey, good morning.

Speaker 5 (10:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (10:33):
When we were kids, we got into the Arundel Mills
mall overnight. That was kind of.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
Oh dude, that would be that would be awesome, That
would be great.

Speaker 8 (10:45):
It wasn't as great as you would think. I mean,
we were kind of little badasses at the time. And
we kind of got on top of one of the
eighteen wheelers at the loading docks and there was a
little gap in there, just enough for us to kind
of get inside of that doubt that it was just
kind of a bunch of empty boxes and palace And

(11:05):
don't you agree.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
I hear you, I hear you.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
But like, like, like, like, even if you got to
a mall or a movie theater and you couldn't watch
a movie or the stores were closed, you just know
you're and and again, it has to be a place
that would be considered cool right when you're a teenager.
Movie theater is cool, mall is cool, Sky Zone is
freaking awesome. The you're someplace cool that you're at a

(11:29):
time when you're not supposed to be there. So that's
why I think even even a even a zipped up
movie theater would be great. Dude, as a teenager, if
I could have broken into a TGI Fridays, oh my god.

Speaker 6 (11:43):
Two my buddies and I snuck on to Chesterfield Airfield
back in the day, checked out the hangars and found
a private jet with the pulled down steps open. We
felt like kings.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Oh my god, that's fantastic. The pulldown steps.

Speaker 5 (11:57):
That's great, And then from Facebook to say an airport
would scare me, Like even like a small airport, that
would scare me.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
Todd Wright. So I grew up basically next to bush gardens.
We never pulled it off, oh come, but had a
plan to take an inflatable boat onto the Rhine River.
I bet amusement park people dream of, especially if you're
near one.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Yeah yeah, if.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
You live if you live in Doswell, it's just tempting
you every single night.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
But you have to have a plan, Like their plan
was to bring something to utilize now, but.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
We've seen people break into oh zoos.

Speaker 6 (12:44):
Yeah yeah, we have to say that.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
And I mean that you're playing there is just hang
out with.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
The animals, don't get too close. Oh yeah, but you're
not talking about like jumping a fence.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
How old am I getting into this? But like a
not aloure oh an in habitat No way. I think
I just made up a word.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Habitat girl?

Speaker 1 (13:05):
You a hole, hi yelly at the morning?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Ahi? Is this me?

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Yeah? What'd you break into?

Speaker 3 (13:14):
In high school? After prom we broke into a water.

Speaker 8 (13:18):
Park that was right by our hotel and swam through
the slides all night.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Dude, that's great. What city.

Speaker 9 (13:26):
It was?

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Actually, I was born and raised in the island of Guam,
so it was.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
It was one of the water parks there.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Dude. That's awesome. Good for I don't know what a
Guam water park is, like, who cares?

Speaker 5 (13:38):
Though, You're a teenager and you have full access to
a water park.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
That's that's great. Yep, that's great.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Yep. And we broke into the bar and started drinking
all the drinks there.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Beautiful, beautiful.

Speaker 5 (13:50):
All right, dude, thank you my friend Line seven.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Hi Jelly at the morning, Good morning, how are you?
I am? Well, thank you.

Speaker 10 (14:02):
So I'm gonna keep my name anonymous, but I have
a story. When I was like thirteen, my sister dated
a guy who worked at a sky zone, so he
technically was not breaking in he had a key, but
we used to go up there at like one two
in the morning. You know, me and my younger cousin
were the younger of the crowd. But they'd be like, oh,

(14:23):
we're gonna, you know, we're gonna all go to skyzone
and we'd be like, huh, we're gonna the sky zone
and then come to find out, Yeah, my sister's boyfriend
was an assistant manager, so he had a key and
we'd go up there at like one two in the morning.
There'd be at least like ten to fifteen of us,
sometimes more.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
That's great, and just go in there and jump all
over it.

Speaker 5 (14:43):
And listen, I know you're not breaking in. That guy
would have gotten fired. You're the guy, and the manager
would have gotten fired.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Oh he did.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
Yeah, there you go. But still like, that's awesome, that's great. Like,
what is the what is the what is the place?
It's in Rockville. It's over by like the Rockville Ice
Rink where it's got like like overhead zip line ape.
No go ape is outdoors. Although that would be a

(15:10):
great place to break into. I mean, if you don't
fall out of the trees. No, what is the what
is the that's it? That would be a great place
to break into.

Speaker 6 (15:23):
See all the climbing places.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
And again I'm not encouraging anybody to do if anything,
that's a that's that's a flattering statement about Vazone.

Speaker 6 (15:32):
Chris writes, remember that time Elliott broke into a restaurant
and wanted free food for life.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
By the way, thank you, Robert Wiedermeier. I saved his life.
You know they're redoing that. They're redoing that.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Muscle bar in Arlington.

Speaker 6 (15:47):
Yeah, And was that a case of you leaning No door?

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Door was open? No, didn't you see it was open?

Speaker 1 (15:53):
No?

Speaker 2 (15:54):
I thought you were driving by or were you're parking.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
No, it was it was a case of walking by
and I just pulled on the door like you always do.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Weren't you trying to get in though?

Speaker 5 (16:05):
No?

Speaker 1 (16:05):
You know what it was? It was, yeah, well we
were going like.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
You were intentionally walking into there.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Yeah, and the door was open, and I walked in.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
I was like, crap, I'm on camera and the sign
was inside and so yeah, I couldn't get in there.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
So I was like, I need to call somebody. So oh,
I walked over and got the cops.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
And they wanted my name and all that stuff, but
I did I wanted free.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Food from Robert Wiedemmeyert.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
Hobie writes that Bush Gardens River has huge, a large
mouth bass. Trust me, he's got that bait to catch
you hogs.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Can I go to eight? Oh?

Speaker 5 (16:46):
So what is is it only in our headphones or
are people hearing that clicking?

Speaker 2 (16:50):
That's weird.

Speaker 6 (16:51):
Yeah, you're getting it to Yeah, I kept motioning it,
but it's not but it's you hear it in there.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
But it's not from the phone. I wasn't talking to
somebody on the phone, but I was.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Hearing that click click click click click. Yeah, okay, But
I don't know what that is.

Speaker 6 (17:05):
I couldn't tell if we're all experiencing that.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
I don't know who to But I don't know if
that's all like outside or inside.

Speaker 6 (17:10):
But now I don't hear her anymore.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Well, I just fixed it. I talked about it. Yeah,
I don't neither. But it was only that one little bit. Yeah,
and it came in a couple of bursts.

Speaker 5 (17:20):
Yes, line eight. Let's see if it comes back. Hi,
Jellia in the morning, I'll tell Dustin he's in Philly.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Hello, Hello, yeah, Hello, ma'am hello.

Speaker 8 (17:34):
Yeah, can you hear me?

Speaker 1 (17:38):
That's why I'm answering you.

Speaker 6 (17:39):
No, don't take it out on her.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (17:45):
So I actually was able to when I was younger, teenager. Wise,
I've broke into University of Maryland on the stadium, so
we just got to kind of go late at night
and go on the field ground.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
You know what. That's always cool. That's always cool. Can
I ask you that? Like, were you a young teenager
or an older teenager?

Speaker 7 (18:05):
I'll say about sixteen at the time. I wasn't driving,
but no, I got you.

Speaker 5 (18:09):
But like, were you did you go like to hook
up with a boyfriend or it was just you guys
just hanging out.

Speaker 7 (18:14):
Yeah, we literally just went to go see it. There
was like a little spray paint gun, so we like
did a couple of dots of spray paint around and
we wanted to, I don't know, just mess around. But
we were just kind of chilling and looking around and
seeing the stadium at night with nobody in it.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
That's cool, that's cool. I'll take that. I like that one.
I like that one.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Hey, sorry, we didn't get off on the good foot
at first.

Speaker 7 (18:36):
I hope you have a good day.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
All right, very good, Thank you. I can't tell she's angry.

Speaker 6 (18:40):
Yeah, that sounds like no, it's not, No.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
It's not I should have given her a shirt.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
Where am I going? Kristen Line two? Hi, Yellie in
the morning. Yeah, I got you.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Who's this all right?

Speaker 8 (18:53):
This is Steven, Yes, sir.

Speaker 9 (18:56):
So I went with a couple of buddies of mine
back and like high school, went on to Annapolis Mall
to see like a ten o'clock movie at night, and
me and two.

Speaker 11 (19:07):
Friends left early during the movie and we went through
the mall and we were like sucking on helium tanks
like from the middle center Kiosk.

Speaker 12 (19:18):
For like a half an hour, and they came out.

Speaker 11 (19:23):
The other friends came out of the movie when it
was done.

Speaker 12 (19:27):
And there was security guard at the bottom of the
escalators and they're like, how'd you get down there? I
don't know, and we were like, we gone, I don't know,
it was gone down here. So we just left after that.
But we were down at for like forty minutes.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
So that's great.

Speaker 6 (19:45):
My friend Josh on Facebook, right, skate was left open
to our local dirt race tracks. So, oh, it gets better.

Speaker 6 (19:57):
You anticipated he was going to drive, No, not at all.

Speaker 5 (20:00):

I thought he was going to be like on a bike.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
That's awesome. That's great.

Speaker 5 (20:08):

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Hi Ellie in the morning, Elliott, Yes, sir, so I
got a good one for you. When we were younger,
delivered the paper routes. There's about five of us. We
had different routes, so we would meet up at the
grocery store early in the morning. Back in the day.
They would leave the doughnuts and cookies and stuff out.
The truck drivers would just leave it out, and we
would rop there in the morning and rob them and

(20:48):
just take the gallons of milk and doughnuts and we
would go back in the woods party it up and
then uh, just bunch out all freaking morning.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
But other than that, I love it. I love it.
It's great. Thank you, sir. And that's on them for
leaving it out, Elliott.

Speaker 6 (21:06):
You can't leave if you're not going to condone breaking
into sipers it.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
But you can't listen. You can't leave all your stuff out.
You can't leave all that out.
