Speaker 1 (00:00):
Remember was it earlier in the year, everything was lining
up Germany. I don't even remember how it's Oh, I
do remember how it started. Didn't we want to do
Lollapalooza Berlin.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Yes, you wanted to go to another music festival overseas, overseas,
right right, right?

Speaker 1 (00:17):
And I love it well. I love the idea of Lollapalooza.
So going to Germany and everybody, I feel like we
went in through a string of everybody saying Germany's awesome,
Germany's great. Germany would be a blast, and I do
believe it would be.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
And I think that's to why we focus it on Berlin,
because people were really speaking highly about how they thought
you and Berlin were a perfect match.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
I feel like I would love it there. I really
feel like I would love it there, and people agree
with you.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yeah, it's just it's a big city. There's a ton
of crap going on there, like in a good way.
Like I feel like, I feel like Berlin would be
awesome for me. And then it seemed like everything started
lining up. Right, you had Lollapalooza that we wanted to
go to.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
This weekend, you just had Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:11):

Last weekend was the Berlin Bash whatever, the same thing,
and then you have I mean, october Fest is right
around the corner. And yes, Munich is known for Octoberfest,
but they still have the celebrations in Berlin.

Speaker 2 (01:32):

going to Yes, yes, well then you franced us a
little again. So a little good news, bad news, if
you will. The bad news is you're not going to
Lallapalooza Berlin. That's this weekend. Although I would.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Love to just spring it on you that we're going
to Berlin this weekend, but we're not.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
We're not.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
But I do have some good news. We're not going
to go to october Fest there. We're not going to
go to Lollapalooza there. We're not going to go to
Berlin Bash there or anything. However, we are going somewhere.
Where's America's october Fest?

it was to get a hotel?

Everything sold out?

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yes? Did you not hear how many people are going
to celebrate? About nine hundred thousand people in southwest Ohio.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Nine hundred thousand people. When you think october Fest, you
think Munich. When you think America Is october Fest, you
think Zincinnati.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
And I forget. Does this just take over? Yes, they
may have the fest grounds, but does it take over
the city for the weekend.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
The I was there? How many? Well I've been through
the airport.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Oh wait a second.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
No, he's out of town that weekend.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Oh sure, no he is Elliott is this?

Speaker 3 (05:48):
No? No, my kid is out of town.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Steal a visit with your son. No, I did look
into that an hour. No no, I looked into it.
See out of town because he's in Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
No, no, no, please please.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Miami plays Notre Dame that weekend, so he's busting to
uh Notre Dame. Like there's a whole bunch of them
bust into Notre Dame. So he won't be there. He
won't be there.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Check the route.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Skyline Chili, baby excited. I've never tried greaters. I'm gonna
be greaters. You can get greaters in the airport, that's
my next question. Oh, you can also get skylined in
the airport. Will we be able to take in all
that Cincinnati has to offer? I will tell you this,
or are we is this weekend totally consumed? By Zinzinnati.
I will tell you this. No no, I mean listen,
you you you you you get as much as you get.

Speaker 4 (06:40):

Speaker 3 (06:54):
I have a rental car.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Okay, but I'm still saying, like we you like to
pack in like ye, we may.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Tell you this. Excuse me.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
I have put two things on the list that I
have to do if we're going.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
To Cincinnati, which is uh.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
If you think I'm going to Cincinnati and not seeing
Fiona the Hippo in person, you're crazy.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Okay, so there's a zoo trip? Are there hours affected?
By Zinzinnati.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Oh I don't know. But do you think she eats
like brought worse and stuff?

Speaker 4 (07:21):
You know?

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Sometimes they give her that, like that enormous watermelon to eat. Oh,
and we'll see Fritz. What's more German than Fritz? Ah, Fritz.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Fritz also gonna need you to remove that dance move
from the performance of the high school.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
What are we wearing?

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Oh? Later? Hosing?

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Oh yeah, I didn't even think of that. Oh, Diane,
what is like?

Speaker 2 (07:45):
We all have later hosting in our closets.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
No, no, what is that? What is that called? What
is that top called?

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Like?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
What does Saint Paul girl wear? I'm definitely gonna go see.
I'm definitely gonna.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Hear it is it's the tits and outs and.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yes, no, the other thing I wanted to do this
so badly. Bavarian Beauty is the costume on Amazon?

Speaker 2 (08:15):
When's my Spirit Halloween opening? I love that they obviously
try to skirt some my thoughts.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
No, now I can tell you this, So remember what
I wanted.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I wanted to do this very badly when we were
going to Minneapolis and we couldn't.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Where is is it? Mason?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
The suburb of Mason, Ohio? Is that just outside? Can
you look that up? Is Mason just outside of Cincinnati?

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Sorry? He's Incinnati? Yeah, it's northeast how far?

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Like thirty minutes?

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Perfect because we are gonna go see. Sofia Zulo, who's that?

Speaker 3 (09:05):
She was named first runner up in the Miss Hooters
International Contest.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Oh we can't first runner up. We can't see miss
Bumbum so the Uh No, No, she is first runner up,
it says right here.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
A Greater Cincinnati woman was named first runner up and
Miss Photogenic in the twenty twenty four Miss Hooters International Pageant.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Sophia, We're coming.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
I feel like that's fueling it a little bit too,
maybe because of the disappointment with Minneapolis falling.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Apart right well, I wanted to go to the Hooters
in not.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
The Hooters part, the entire trip.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Oh, the trip is gonna be great. Look at the logo, Zinzinnati.
Look at the logo we're hoisting signs Diane?

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Is it really an Uh?

Speaker 3 (09:53):
It's nine hundred thousand people?

Speaker 2 (09:55):
But is the and I should post this maybe in
no stupid questions? But is the German heritage in Cincinnati
quite rich year round? Kristen?

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Are you waiting on anybody specific to like?

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Is that why Cincinnati hosts not hoists? That's what we're
doing with the stye Ins. Diane hosts America's Octoberfest. I
forget when we learned about it originally. I forget if
that's the reason for it. Wait, wait, year is this.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
Twenty twenty four? Oh? What year for the for the
for the Fast? Yes? Is it?

Speaker 1 (10:36):
I want to say it's like the hundredth or something
like that.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
That seems high.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Nineteen seventy six. Uh, yeah, in seventy six, Yeah, there
you go. So what is that fifty? Is this the
fiftieth anniversary?

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Oh my god, look at the brat eating contest.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Oh yes, Diane, that's going to be us.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
By the way, I can't tell you if if Cincinnati
has a rich I only know one person in Cincinnati,
Sophia Zulo.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
And I know that she works at the Hooters in Mason,
and Mason, as we see, is not that far, but
it is a suburb. Like when you talk about the zoo,
is the zoo downtown or is this zoo outside of
the city?

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Never been? Never been?

Speaker 2 (11:16):
That's I mean to throw Cincinnati in with a trip
to c Fiona.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
That's oh my god, are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (11:22):
The only other thing I'd need to do is walk by,
and I've done it before, the only other time. And
I like Cincinnati when I was there, But that goes
back what ten, twelve, fifteen years ago?

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Cincinnati was awesome. I got this hotel, yeah, in the
city in Mason. The Hooters is downstairs. Lindsay says that
we can make me available.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
I don't know what that means. Wait, say what we
can make me? So she said you, we can make
you available to go? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (11:59):
Yeah, also perfect?

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Does that mean there was something that I'm missing that's
not making her too happy?

Speaker 6 (12:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Fine, the dammit I just said to her last weekend two,
I said, I don't think that September things happening. He
hasn't brought it up.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah, it's coming in two weeks. Zinzinnati, Diane, look at
the pictures. Go to the Zinzannaties gallery. You're gonna be
in the middle of that with your tits and outs in.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
And the zoo to where the heart of zin Zinnati
is happening is like a fifteen minute drive.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
We could walk that if we had two Yeah, it's
like four mile walk. Yeah, we'll probably drive.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Also, when you keep saying Zinzinnati zoo sounds wrong? Yeah,
like you know, it's cool.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
Where am I going? Line three? Hi Ellie in the morning?

Speaker 7 (12:57):
Hi is this me?

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (12:58):
Hi?

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Who's this?

Speaker 7 (13:01):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (13:01):
This is Whitney.

Speaker 7 (13:02):
I'm a long time listener. Used to live in the
DMV and now I live in Cincinnati, so I'm still
listen to you guys every day.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Yea, what is the Are you German? Are you German?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Not a German?

Speaker 7 (13:15):
But it was surprise when I got here. How strong
of a German presence.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Really?

Speaker 6 (13:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Oh well that makes sense. Have you ever been to what?
Have you ever been to? Zincinnati?

Speaker 4 (13:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (13:32):
And there's actually multiple Octoberfests that Incinnati is the one
that's probably the most well known, but there's other ones
that go on throughout the month, and honestly, I feel
like the whole city celebrates it all October. Every brewery
has their own kind of Octoberfest and bock beers that
they make, especially in Octoberfest. It's a good time all month.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Hey, let me ask you this.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Does it does like Tyler was asking, does Cincinnati or
October Fest? Does it just take over the entire city?

Speaker 7 (14:08):
It's mostly downtown. Definitely can tell that it's going on.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
Yeah, that's where we're staying. I got hotels downtown. Hey,
let me ask you this.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
What can I throw this? There's something up with the
hotel because you're very as you keep highlighting like an
s eating grin on your face when you mentioned the hotel.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Is it like a hostel, which, by the way, that
is a German word hostele is a German word. The no,
you know what, I don't have the name. It's got
a weird it's got a weird name. But it'll be
fun perfect.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
Oh yeah, it's Sam's backyard, sleeping in a tent.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
The no.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
No. But tell Diane, Tell Diane, it's gonna be awesome.
You love it there.

Speaker 7 (14:56):
I think you guys will have a great time. Before
I moved here, I was really like, Oh, what's Cincinnati.
But it's a great town. These people know how to party.
You'll have a good time.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Nothing else to do. I'll tell you the only other
time that I was there, honestly, it was it had
to be ten fifteen years ago. I really did like it.
I enjoyed it.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
No, I didn't do a whole lot, but like I
went to Great American Ballpark. I saw the stadium. I
like downtown. There's that little park between like downtown and
the stadium.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
Yeah it was cool.

Speaker 7 (15:27):
Yeah, it is a cool town. Lots lots to do,
go to over the Rhine. That's like our downtown. Lots
of good bars and places to hang out. O.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Sounds like everything is what is that? What is that?

Speaker 6 (15:41):
Down?

Speaker 3 (15:41):
Like that down? Like that downtown, but like that middle
of downtown, it's like a big square. But I think
like the original Graters is there.

Speaker 7 (15:51):
Yeah, Fountain Square. It's a pretty pretty part of town
and you can get greaters and there's always activities happening
out there as well.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
Yeah, and tell Diane that for for Octoberfest, America's Octoberfest,
everybody's dressed up.

Speaker 7 (16:13):
Oh yeah, definitely in the leader hoven or whatever you.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Call this, rightet up, Yeah, tits and.

Speaker 7 (16:22):
You have to dress up.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Hey, have you can? I ask you this? Have you
been to the zoo since you've been there?

Speaker 6 (16:28):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (16:29):
Yeah, absolutely, we have the number one in the country.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Yeah, I'm gonna come see Fiona and Fritz. All right,
very good, very good, we'll be there.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Listen up, Lindsay.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
The twentieth, twenty first, and twenty second. I look forward
to seeing you amongst the nine hundred thousand people in
southwest Ohio.

Speaker 7 (16:51):
Absolutely hope to see you guys out there.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
All right, very good, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yes, Tyler, maybe we'll all be a part of the
world's largest chicken dance. Oh boy, Oh yes, yes, that's sad.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
You remember how to do it? Diane? Vaguely you don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
How to do the chicken in a long time, Elliot,
I was, I don't have a cute up.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Do you still have it the Chicken days? I just
read that.

Speaker 5 (17:20):
Yes, you gotta be a little more fluid.

Speaker 6 (17:38):
If you don't mind, then we don't see.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
We don't see Harris, come see kitsonounce it. Diane, You're
gonna love this is here, an official bear of Sincinnati.
Here we go, Diane. Okay, Christen, we're not there right now.

(18:20):
By the way, Christian may as well have already land.
He's ready to go. Can I tell you guys, I
got us a hotel.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
There are five music stages, all five and then playing
this at four o'clock on Saturday. Yes, every year they
try to break the record again.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
Oh, we're doing it this year. That's gonna be awesome.
That's gonna be great.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
We have to steal Diane away from the running of
the Wiener Dogs.

Speaker 5 (18:44):
Yes, hi, Elliot the morning.

Speaker 4 (18:59):
Can hear me?

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Hey, Sean, what's going on, dude?

Speaker 7 (19:03):
Not much.

Speaker 8 (19:04):
I think the word you're looking for for the skirts
that German women wear, it's called add.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
A dorndal uh huh.

Speaker 7 (19:21):
I think it's about like d I r n d

Speaker 2 (19:48):
How will you use that word? But how maybe and
an ample chested drndle ware would hoist a stein.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Yeah, right up on top of her tits and shelfon.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Oh, there's so many sticker possibilities for my bumper. Oh

the circus. Oh, it's like a circus, but it's more
like German.

Speaker 2 (22:00):

Speaker 3 (22:04):
