Speaker 2 (00:08):
I hope you had a good Labor Day weekend, and
I want to look ahead at some things coming up.
Batman Day is on September 19th, and a big part
of the celebrations will happen at movie theaters with three
special bat screenings throughout the whole weekend. The 1989 Tim
Burton Batman movie will be in theaters on September 18th.
On the 19th, you can see the Lego Batman movie.

(00:28):
Then on the 20th, the weekend will close out with
Batman Mask of the Phantasm. And theaters will have a
special popcorn bucket in the shape of the Batmobile from
the TV show from the 60s. Then there's November 19th,
the day that Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming out.
There have been estimates on not only how many copies
it will sell on the first day, but also how
much money businesses will lose because of it. The prediction

(00:51):
is that 1.5 million GTA players will skip work that
day and cost companies a billion dollars in losses. That
reminds me, I need to make sure I'm off on
November 19th. Get your daily pop culture rundown around 4.50
every weekday with the Mike Jones MinuteCon and the Afternoon
Adventure on DC 101, on the air, and the iHeartRadio app.
