Speaker 2 (00:23):
Hello everyone, and happy Sunday to you, and thank you
so much for listening. And obviously it is after Christmas,
so I hope you had a wonderful holiday Christmas if
you celebrate it, hopefully you were with family and you
felt loved. And whoever out there is listening that is
having a very tough time going through this time of year.

(00:44):
You're not alone. I want you to say that to you.
I'm definitely one for sure. The holidays are very, very tough,
especially when you lose someone that you love during it.
So if you're listening out there, I want you to
know you're not alone at all. I know this is
a hard time with the new year coming around the corner.
Definitely get help, be around family, you know, anything that
you need for your mental state to be in a

(01:05):
good place to get through the holidays and obviously the winner.
It doesn't mean that, you know, you have December thirty first,
and you're one person because it's the holidays, and in
January first, you turn into another person because it's twenty
twenty six, right, because it's the new year. It doesn't
work that way. But I do want to introduce somebody
absolutely wonderful that's in the studio with me because we

(01:26):
have something great coming up this Tuesday. Coach Brex, thank
you so much for coming on. You take a lot
of time with me, so I really appreciate it. You
must like me.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
You might like me a little bit, you know, I
appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Thank you so much for having no and you have
a great voice for radio. And you know we did it.
We did. I want you to talk. I'm gonna really
have you put the rain on what's going on this Tuesday,
but to kind of recap, and we did this before
we got started. We talked, We went to cross Point,
We had that seminar, which was absolutely the feedback was
absolutely wonderful, and I think anybody else that I was

(02:00):
not able to come to the seminar. A couple of
weeks ago was a Saturday. I know, time's like really
really weird for me in December, Like I have no
clue what's going on, what day it is. I get
back on track, I think the first week of January.
That's when my brain starts to like function again. But
so tell us a little bit, you know, what you do,
what's going on Tuesday and where they can find because

(02:21):
I had some people reach out to me that they were
wondering how they can watch or see or get some
information that we did with our last seminar.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Yeah, so coach Bricks, you know, I work primarily with athletes,
younger athletes, but I always started getting into the last
couple of years with adults, getting them back, get them healthy,
understanding how to take care of the body. We talked
about this and this is part of our seminar that
we spoke about and bringing all three phases together that
I call healing, but also what we all need and

(02:49):
that's the spiritual aspect of it, the mental aspect and
the physical aspect. And we talked about that. We broke
that down. I know I did my part on primarily
on movement what people could do easily to are to
get themselves going, and it was just basic movement that
they can start doing, you know, walking, we talked about
We talked about doing stuff in between, you know, instead
of sitting for seven hours straight like many people do,

(03:10):
especially kids. And I really feel bad for the school
system because it's all messed up and how long these
kids sit. They sit way too long. Nobody was designed
to be like that.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Did they even still have recessed?

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Yeah? I still see it next door at my place.
They go out there, which is great. I woulsh they
had more of it, you know what I mean. It's
like ten to fifteen minutes tops, and that's not enough.
I mean I could go on a whole topic about
that as well. But we spoke about getting up, you know,
as an adult, getting up every hour forty five minutes
and just moving for a minute or two. That's it.
Just basic stuff that we did. And I actually wrote

(03:43):
a whole program up for one of the gentlemen who
showed up about you know, getting up and moving, just
making it because he sits me. He said, Dave, I'm
just tired and everything hurts that when I do get
up now. And there's a reason for that, because the
joints are not. Yeah, the joints need to be lubricated,
just like a car with ovial fluid. That's what gets
our joints moving. But when they sit there and they
don't move, a synovial fluid just sits. So moving constantly

(04:07):
is a key for us. And then you spoke on
the nutrition aspect. You know how important that part is
and that things some people you know, over complicate that
part of it very much, and you know that. I mean,
you speak with people all the time and how important
it is though to take care of that part, you know.
And then pastor Days spoke about the spiritual aspect. It
was awesome and he was short. He was to the

(04:27):
point five ten, fifteen minutes. I think he spent on it,
but he just spoke about how spiritually we have to
be in all you know, all three phases that we
have to have together to have that complete healing, that
complete wholeness that we're that were I think us as
especially as Americans, that we're missing in today's society. So
there's one coming up here in two days here on Tuesday,
December thirtieth, we're doing another one. I'm with you and

(04:49):
I at my place exposed to sports performance. We're talking
about injuries and nutrition, and it's geared towards you know, athletes,
but also adults. What do we need to do also
for these young kids to make sure they're on the
right path because I can't tell you how many athletes
that I deal with they just eat trash and they
get away with it now and they think they're okay,
and the parents think it's okay, but it's actually setting

(05:10):
them up for failure later on. And the amount of
stuff that they're eating, especially in between games. I've seen this,
and this is the saddest part. It's when you play tournaments.
A lot of these kids will pack stuff in between
or they'll have stuff there and they'll eat the worst
stuff possible. And I'm like, no, wonder your performance in
the second game or third game, whatever you're planning drop dramatically.

(05:32):
It's because of what you hate. You've fueled the body.
It's like, all right, here's my car. I have this
high octane car. You know it's beautiful. You know you
have to put the best gasoline in it. Yes, and
you're gonna have a problem. Well, these kids are putting
in water and then expecting it to you know, go
at a high octane level. And I'm like, and the
parents are the same way. They don't understand. They need
to understand that fueling the body, not only beforehand but

(05:55):
also during is so so important.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
You know when you say about because obviously a seminar
was beautiful. We took about maybe fifteen minutes, and you know,
you talked about the body. I talked about obviously, you
know you talked about the you know, the sports, not sports,
but the movement aspect of its just movement. I mean,
I I want everybody listening out there that this isn't
really about being in the gym or working out, booking
or you're going to be an athlete, you know, which

(06:18):
obviously a lot of us don't feel like we're athletes.
But we have the potential of being one, that's for sure.
But you know that's not that's not some of our
lives are right. We're not football players or soccer players
or basketball players or whatever. You know, there's and a
lot of times, even you know, in the eighties, which
that's really when I grew up, eighties, where the bad

(06:38):
Can we please go back? Can we just go back?
You know, I would love just let's just go back.
It was just ire was anything like that comes up,
like a time machine and they're like, what what what
the hot top time machine? Remember that movie? Why do
you look at me like you have no clue to
talk about? Art? Are always like in the how long
we've been doing this? Fifteen years together? I vaguely remember it. Yeah, yeah,

(06:59):
it fifteen years, aren't I We'm been working together. And
I wish I could just you know, put the camera
on him. On the looks he gives me. He's always
looked very confused, and he's like, oh, it just looks
me like, just stop talking, just stop talking about that.
And he helps me with my slangs because I'm very
bad with them. I'm horrible with them. But yeah, but
there was a if it could go back, I think
the eighties were it seemed like more of an innocent

(07:21):
time and maybe because there wasn't you know, I don't
know what do you call it social media for example,
or the phones or anything like that. But you know,
my point to that was, I remember, like a lot
of wrestlers, you know that then and I know them
now because obviously decades and decades has passed that they
have a lot of issues because they were eating, you know,

(07:42):
like they were overeating or like not eating enough and
dehydrating their body like tremendously and the damages that it's done,
you know, while in our mid fifties. Now, you know,
when we get together or I see them and their
health is not that great. And I really think because
it's that that athlete mentality of like where you have
to keep get weight, you know, like your weight needs

(08:03):
to be a certain amount or you need to do
a certain thing, and then then you're not you're not
working out, then you go crazy by I don't I
don't know. I feel like that that yo, yo, the
high end and the low end of you know, being
an athlete to then your time off to then being
an athlete again, which I think in the normal normal
human being, that's kind of us. Like it holidays, holidays,

(08:27):
we go crazy, we eat this, we eat that. Then hey,
January comes around and we going to really be healthy,
and you know, then then whatever comes around and you're
not eating healthy Easter, you know, you go kind of
then oh, summer's coming, now we're going to really start
eating healthy. It's that really high and low end that
we don't keep consistent, which really consistency of eating healthy

(08:47):
is the key. That we're just off off of it.
We're on it, we're off of it, we're on it.
And I think that seems to be the problem. I mean,
do you think that's right?

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Yeah, I mean I've seen it with athletes that I've
dealt with in the past where it comes to football guys.
You know, these linemen, they're huge, you know two three,
you know, three hundred and some five pounds linemen that
are in high school and they're told by their coaches,
you need to eat more, you need to do this.
And I have I have some athletes that are in
college that have that issue. These college coaches are trying
to put all this on and I'm looking at I'm like,
but your frame doesn't support that, and so what happens

(09:18):
Then their bodies start to break down and they start
to get these injuries, and then these coaches get mad.
I'm like, but you you're doing this to this kid.
This kid cannot hold the frame, they cannot hold this
much weight on their frame, but you're trying to force
it onto them. You got to start we don't think
enough when it comes to those kind of things. You
got to be able to look at each individual. Yes,
we all have a basic you know line that we

(09:40):
should be able to eat right, move right, all that
kind of stuff, but then you got to tailor it
to what that individual has. And so there's a gentleman
in there right now. They're trying to put all this
weight on this guy and I'm like, dude, you don't
look good like you look good last year. You know
what I mean. You were buff, you looked great, all
this kind of stuff, and now you look like you
added ten pounds to your stomach. And I'm like, that's

(10:00):
not where you want to add it. Well, the coach
wants me to add weight. I'm like, you how to
add Yes, that's what the coaches want, and they get
mad if you don't. They'll come back and he'll get
yelled at if he's not at a certain weight. And
you see with wrestling that yo yo to drop weight
to so I can rest with whatever weight class one, eight, nine, two,
fifteen whatever to be underneath that level. That then leads

(10:23):
to typically problems later on because like you said, they
have that mentality in their head and it's so yoyo
it all up. They don't understand what good nutrition is.
Because they're so all over the yo yo.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Is so bad. I mean, I mean right now, we
know that there's probably more people on the weight loss
shots than not and you know the suppressing of the
appetite and not eating, which we'll talk about that because
there is a yoyo going on with that too. I
have a lot of clients that are on the shots
now that put nutrition with it, which is a nine
day difference between just doing a weight loss by itself

(10:55):
shots and then doing a weight loss with nutrition. So
we're going to take a break. You can go to
my line dot com. You can book a free chat.
We can talk about the seminar coming up this Tuesday.
We'll give you the dates and time. And then also
you have a wonderful special this week is the last
week of it that you're going to get over sixty
percent off on getting information for your nutrition. Whether you're
on the weight loss shots or not on them, you're

(11:16):
thinking about them, or just really want to start a
really healthy journey, go to mitro line dot com and
book that free chat. We're going to take a break
and be right back now.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Back to the my Trimline Radio show with Nadia here
on NewsRadio WHB five eighty hell.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
And welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.
And I hope you're having a wonderful holiday so far.
With last week obviously, I hope you enjoyed your Christmas,
if you celebrated, I hope you are mentally in a
good place. I know it's very hard around this time
of year. It was very hard for me. I got
to tell you that because you know, when you lose
a family member right at Christmas morning that's four years ago.

(11:53):
Was for me at twelve o seven. I remember twelve
oh seven. I could be totally wrong, but that's when
my mother passed away. And so it's very very hard
to get through that. Please get help, reach out. Wan
will come to reach out to me. I have no
problem with that, and just get through it and try
to be you don't want to push through it. There's
nothing to push through, right. And I've couched Bregs here
with me. Thank you so much for being here today.

(12:15):
I really appreciate it. But I mean, I think, like,
just like you work with a lot of athletes, I
know that there's a lot of thought process of pushing
through things right, And I really and I actually like
to push through things. Think I think of myself to
push through, like you, if I'm working out and or
like something that I'm depressed about, or something tough time

(12:36):
that I'm going through, the mentality is to push through, right,
And I think there's a huge difference between what some
people consider pushing through to be healthy and pushing through
it that's not healthy. I mean, do you agree with that?

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Yeah, I think there's a huge thing. I think people
there's two spectrums of people. The majority follow the aspect
of not pushing hard enough. There is a select few
people that don't know when to stop. But the people
who don't push hard enough. Is that your body is
very resilient. The mind is what stops you, you know.

(13:09):
The mind holds you back from a fear of you know,
getting hurt or whatever. Very very rare. Will you ever
get to that point? It's very difficult to get to that.
People think it's easy. It's not. It's not easy to
get to that point. The body is very resilient. No
matter how old you get, it's still very resilient. That's
how it was made. But there are people that do
push way too hard, you know what I mean, They

(13:29):
keep going, they keep going, they keep going and you're like,
you got to cut back, and they can't. It's not
that they can't, but if something in their mind doesn't
allow them. And that's some of the problems that we
have in our society because we either one side or
the other. We don't know how to walk that fine
line right down the middle. And if we did, you
would see much healthier people, living much longer and living
much better lives. But we don't because we have one

(13:51):
side of the other. So the people who are pushing
too hard burn themselves out and then destroy their bodies,
and the other people who don't push hard enough, they
just never get their body to where it should be.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
And we're talking about not just physically, mentally, right, You're
mentally is a bigger issue, I think than physically. Like
there's a lot of times that I can get up
in the I get up in the morning, by the
grace of God, and then just you know, I could
run around like I'm talking, I could go to the gym,
I can go to this run like ten errands, be
at work, physical stuff like move boxes, cases, whatever I'm doing,

(14:23):
and I actually don't feel tired. But then there there's
there is times that I am just you know, let's
say something just stressful has happened mentally, mentally, like something
very distraught, you know, something that's really bothering me, or
you know, as a small business owner, there's always a
million things on your mind, right, And I think I
find myself to be exhausted, Like that's what that's when
I'm finding myself to be very exhausted. Is that mental

(14:45):
aspect when I don't give myself a break and I
don't really in my mind, I don't like when I
don't have a good day, like for me, like if
I'm like, you know, honestly, this past week was a
really really rough week for me, but for me to
kind of be I was telling my partner, I'm like,
you know, it's like, gosh, you're in a really because
you're in a mood. And I'm like, and I'm rarely
in a mood like very I'm typically very happy. I

(15:08):
love I'm full of energy and I just love being
that kind of person. That's where I thrive on myself.
So if I'm like kind of angry or I don't
know what's the word, like frustrated or just you know
it and everybody notices that on me, Like it's like
it's like I'm not even allowed to. Let's say, I said,

(15:28):
you know, I'm exhausted. Like my answer was, honestly, I
was on my couch in the evening after I got
home from work about eight pm. I think what to
we say whatever day it was, and he's like, I'm
I'm like, you know, my exhaustion made me frustrated. I
don't know if that makes any sense, Like I was
frustrated and angry because I felt exhausted, and I typically

(15:49):
don't like to feel like that. So I think that's
like something that we really need to be especially with
the new year. Right, And I said this some thing
on the break. I'm not sure just because it's December
thirty first, right, and then then it turns to January first,
which is a day later, then it turns into January second.
Does not mean you're gonna have an epiphany of life

(16:10):
that now it's you're gonna be changing things, oh my goodness.
And let's say even Friday, nobody's gonna do anything but
mids say, January fifth, whatever, whatever that Monday comes around.
I think it's a lot of pressure that we put
on ourselves for the new year, and everybody, as like
I said on the break, we're on the weight loss
shots where a lot of people are losing weight, they're
not getting the nutrition aspect of it with it. I

(16:31):
mean absolutely lack. I've like, now I always had thirty doctors.
I think I have about ten Medspot people. I think
it's turned into like over thirty doctors for sure that
are like constantly refer their patients to me because they're
just malnutrition. Their blood work doesn't look that great, they
still can't lose the belly fat. Like the belly fat
is still there, you know, and for man like the

(16:52):
you know man chest is still there and not the
good one. Oh I do. I'm gonna want to say
the word you know that we're on air. But I mean,
so their body fat is there, and you know, so
we're looking to do things healthy, do things natural, and
do things without pressure. And I just want people out
there that are listening to not put that kind of
pressure on themselves. Come with the new year.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Yeah, I mean, why would you you have to understand
how the human body is and how your body is specifically,
And I think that mental part that you talked about
is huge. It puts us into ruts, It puts us
into a bad mood, It puts us in I mean,
look at the sky outside. You know, especially in the winter,
you see people much more depressed, much more, you know,
not feeling what they should feel. I always tell people

(17:34):
when my time's change is when I get outside. And
I know people say, well, it's cold out, granted, but
being outside is something different, especially when you're in the woods,
it's totally different. It's totally different change of environment, totally
different things. You're away from everything, there's no electronics, there's
nothing really out there bothering, you know. You know, I
keep my phone in the car and I go out
for a walk with the dog and my daughter and

(17:55):
I you know, we go out at least once a
week just to get to the woods. And it's just
so change. It's just a change of scenery, and people
need to do more of that. That's why exercise is
so important. I tell them. It's not so much that
I'm going to become this muscle bound person. That's not
the whole purpose of it. The purpose of is to
alleviate some of that stress that you have in your life,
to get away from some of the things that are

(18:17):
bothering you. That's what I used to do all the
time when in college, when when I first got into
it is you know, some of the studiings you do.
That's what got me away from all that stuff and
it calmed me down. And that's what people need to realize.
Why people are so depressed, it's because they don't do anything,
and then they keep getting more and more depressed because
they just sit there. Worst thing we can do is
sit watch TV all day long, you know, and be
indoctrinated with these programs and stuff. You need to get out,

(18:40):
You need to do something. You need to physically move.
That's why all three that we talk about all the
time are so key. They all work together. The spiritual,
the mental, and the physical. They all come together. But
people try to segment them and it just doesn't work.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
And they have maybe one or maybe to have two,
but some don't have all the three and the body
mind and you know, the spirit, the soul in a
sense of their spirituality. You don't have to be very religious,
because I wasn't religious for a very long time for
many many reasons, because I come from a third world
country that did not treat women very well. So my
my association with religion was really not good. Right, so
then when we came to when we came to this country,

(19:15):
over time things changed for me obviously. But I think
it's a spiritual aspect of it. I think we need
to become more spiritual human beings. And if we did,
I truly believe that a lot of stuff that's going
on out there would change. Because right now, I mean,
no matter where I read or what it is, it is,
we're going through something in this I don't know if
it's this country of this world, but there's definitely a

(19:38):
polar opposite of you know what's been happening, say from
long time ago. I mean, people are just not nice
to each other. The things that they say. I think
Art and I we talked about that before. That people
what they say at a keyboard, you know what I mean?
Could you if you meet them in person, probably most
of them, woondn't even dare say something like that or

(19:58):
to you to your face, right, I mean, I can't imagine.
I mean, there people have you know, guts or you know,
I'm going to not say the other word again to
say certain things on a keyboard, which is absolutely ridiculous
where you typically I don't think if you were in
a gathering or you know, socially somewhere and that normally

(20:18):
long time ago, you would talk to each other that way,
you had a certain respect when it came to religion,
to politics, to opinion in general, which I think that's
we're very much lacking of that. Unfortunately, we're waylacking that.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
And I think it's just nobody has tolerance anymore. Nobody
has patience. I did a video on patience. Mine was
more or less from the physical aspect of it, how
parents are not allowing their kids to be patient and
grow and develop the way we should. But it goes
for every part of aspects of patients. We just don't
have that stuff because we're always in a hurry to
go nowhere, and because of the adoption of the phones,

(20:57):
where these kids don't have to understand. I talk about
to all my kids all the time. I didn't go
to a library. I don't look these things up called
the Dewey decimal system. To figure out where a book was.
It was difficult, you know what I mean. Everybody says
always eat, No, it wasn't. You had to go find
this and you had to go match it up with this.
That took patience. You know what I mean. These kids, Yeah,
these kids have nothing. They want something.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
They got fingertips that you and I or what it is.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Yeah, you and I order something. It's there in two days.
We just have to wait six to eight weeks. It
always said that, It always said six things.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
This is like the greatest, greatest conversation because I really
do want to talk about this now.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
You know.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Thank you so much for listening. Please go to my
trimline dot com. You can book a fifteen minute chat.
Come this Tuesday. We'll tell you about that. We got
to definitely talk about that when we come back. We
can't forget about it this Tuesday morning. It's it's wonderful.
You're gonna have fun. We always like to have fun
with things. I go to my trimline dot com book
that free chat, and then start the new year really
the right way. I'm not talking about your weight, I'm

(21:52):
not talk about anything. I'm talking about mentally, you starting
your new year in the right way. We're gonna take
a break and we'll be right back.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
Welcome back.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
This is the my trim Line Radio Show with Nadia
here on News Radio double HB five eighty.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Hello, welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.
I hope you're enjoying your Sunday so far and getting
ready for the New year, New Year's Eve celebrations and
New Year's Day? Obviously is it him? Is it him?
And what's the New Year's Day? Typical food workin sarakraft
pork and sauerkraut. Ah, I paid pork all the time,

(22:28):
and I love sauer kraut. You would think I would
have more luck. But we'll see, we'll see, we'll see
about this this, you know, this new year. So listening
out that I really appreciate. I have coach breaks here
with me. He you know, he's just wonderful. He has
a radio voice, he has a seminar voice. You have,
you have all that going on coach breaks, so it's
pretty awesome.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
Appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
And please tell everybody before we forget tell him what's
going on Tuesday when it starts? What's it about? Because
I'll be there probably like around ten thirty. I'm thinking
somewhere in there, maybe earlier, but it starts a ten right.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
Okay of correct? Yeah, So what we do at my
place at exposed. The Sports Performance was is in Lingostown,
fifty three thirty Gibbel Road, right next to Mountain View
Elementary School. We're hosting a seminar. We're going to do
a speed clinic teaching kids how to run properly for
the first forty five minutes from ten to ten forty five,
and then you and I and one other person are
going to be on for a seminar part from ten
forty five to about eleven thirty and we're going to

(23:20):
talk about injuries, to how to mitigate injuries, and how
to take care of your body and injuries. You're going
to talk nutrition, especially for athletes and stuff like that,
what they can do eat in between and stuff. And
then I had one other person coming on. He played
a very small school around here, and then he went
on and got a scholarship to Dartmouth to play football there.
And now he's hoping to make it into the UFL,
which not the NFL but the other league A Dwayne

(23:41):
rox Johnson is They have a draft coming up in January,
so he's hoping to make it there. But he wants
to talk to the kids about what you need to do,
how you got to keep working, got to keep pushing,
got to keep you know, giving everything you have every
single time. And you know, if you do these kind
of things, you have a great opportunity to make it.
So that's going to be this Tuesday, which is two
days from now, December thirtieth, at my Yeah, I started
ten to ten forty five and then forty ten forty

(24:02):
five to eleven thirty is going to.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
Be our part. And just google sports explosive, you know,
because you can google things from what somebody said to me,
want time. We still talk about it over to break
and then get the address and it said it's beside Mountain.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
View Elementary School, correct district.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
I love the area you have. You have a big
you have lot, like a really nice area. It's huge,
it's almost itself, you know, it's very nice. I like
it a lot. I mean there's no heat inside, but
it's okay because I think I need to be a
little bit more uncomfortable with being outside.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
I really do.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
I loved, you know, I enjoy working out because for me,
it's very more mental, like I work out number one
for me, and it's really geared toward my mental state
more than anything because I really just need that because
there's a lot of stress on it. You know, I
get it. I don't want to get in my head
too much. And we women tend to do that a
good bit. But you know it's so it's really important

(24:55):
to me. But I think the key is is that
I don't go outside enough, I think, and that's what
I need to do, you know, Like I don't bike outside.
I do bike inside, you know, and I do a
lot of my activities inside and I think outside would
be really great. One thing I do want to do
when the weather gets a little bit better is go
into the woods. I used to hike a lot in
the woods, and I really don't do that much. And
that whole barefoot that I've been reading about, you know,

(25:17):
to center yourself with the earth, right, So I want
to really do a lot of things a little bit differently.
Those are my goals coming up. But so this Tuesday,
it starts at ten o'clock, so you can go and
find you know, it's at Sports Explosive And now if
you don't want to be there from the beginning, like
if you have a like if they have athletic kids
or kids that they want to they can come obviously,

(25:37):
right okay, and then at ten forty five to eleven
thirty we're going to start the nutrition aspect of it.
We're going to talk about things, and you can come
and join that one too, which obviously I'll be there,
and you know, you can meet us in pers and
you know, people who showed up for the seminar at
Cross Point Church was just wonderful, Like you know, then
afterwards we hung out for a little bit and talk

(25:57):
to them, which was really nice. So this is really
you learn learning about and you know, we have things
coming up in January which we'll talk about in advance,
and I'm starting Good Day Pa in January again with them.
I did it a long time ago, so that's going
to be something that I'm really looking forward to to educate.
It's more education than anything, and I think that's really
what you and I strive. We're not trying to bring
you on to explosive or trim line. Sure, if you

(26:20):
come and join us, we'd love to have you. We're
very much a family oriented. We're obviously we're both our
small business owners. But this is really about education more
than anything, and the more you know, the better choices
you're able to make. I think the knowledge will help
you to make good choices for yourself. And you know,
whether you are going to start a journey, meaning like
you're finally going to do something about it in a

(26:41):
new year, or you're on the shots, you're not on
the shots, you're debating to be on it, whatever the
case may be. You're thinking about maybe putting activity into
your week, and you maybe think about putting movement into
your week, you know, into your life. I should say
in a new year, you should, really, you know, reach
out to us. We would love to help you, to
set you up for six us and be able to
put you on the right path. And you know, stopping

(27:04):
by this Tuesday would be a great thing if you
have If you don't work Tuesday morning and you want
to come by, we'll be there from you know, twelve
to at least I'm ten to eleven thirty.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Right, Yeah, and I think you nailed right. I think
one of the things I always try to tell my
athletes and my kids and everything like that is you
got to ask questions. Just because it's always been done
a certain way doesn't mean it's correct. And that's what
I always tell people, Like just because you hear it
was always done like this doesn't mean it is the
proper way. You got to ask questions like why. I
always when a kid comes into me and they've been sick.

(27:34):
Some kids have already been sick three times this year,
okay since the beginning of school, which blows my mind.
But I asked them, why are you sick? I don't
know because this kid was sick. I said, no, no, no,
that's not the reason. Why did you get sick? You
have to dive deep. And it's the same thing with injuries.
Why did you get hurt? Why are you not losing weight?
You have to start asking yourself these questions, and when

(27:55):
you do and you dive deep into it, then you
can start to find the meaning behind how how do
I heal myself? How do I get better? How did
God create me to live on this earth? Because I
think that's what everybody misses. We don't ask enough questions
of ourselves and why we're in these situations that we're in.
And once we do that and you start to start
to ask those questions and then you start to really

(28:16):
dive deep into it, it's amazing what you find out,
and then you can you can heal yourself.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Also you know to know the next step, right. I
think a lot of people preventive and wondering what they're
going to do if you're going to stop something. So
for example, like for me, I'm not I want to
be healthy till when I'm sixty five, right, and God,
if God given I lived it that long. Like that's
what I'm striving now to be able to do that
down the road. Like we don't doctors are awesome, but

(28:42):
doctors are not taught to be preventive. They are taught
to treat an illness. And when you're on a weight
loss shot, or you did keto, or you're on a
diabetes shot, whatever, whatever you are in blood, petrol, cholesterol,
anything that you are, you have to at one point
ask yourself, do I need to be on this for
the rest of my life? Right? Especially with the rampage
of the weight loss shots, you have to be like,
do I if the doctor tells you're going to be

(29:03):
on it for the rest of your life and there's
a maintenance plan of you going down to two shots
a month or whatever's going on, don't you at one
point I want to stop being on it? Right? So
you have to kind of think about it now to
the point that you're going to come off of it,
What do I need to do now that I can
come off of it and not gain my weight back
and come off of it and still be healthy and
be able to maintain my weight. But also, meanwhile, I

(29:27):
can't imagine being on something that doesn't let like I
don't eat that much, or let's say my skin's not
getting saggy on, my muscle tone is changing and my
strength is changing, and not think how can I prevent
this and how can I fix this immediately? Like you
need to think that way where it's kind of like
putting our head in the sand in a way. I
think it's like it's like, Okay, well I'm losing weight.

(29:48):
I'm fine. You know now I can fit into my
size for whatever the heck people are thinking. But you
know that mentality is going to get you in trouble
because when you mean, unless you're gonna be on the
weight los shots for where even if you're on the
weight last shots, you better have some idea of all
the ramifications that's going to happen with it. And it's
like any other thing with gatric bypass, with the lap

(30:09):
band that came on. With any shots that came on,
there's going to be a time where you're going to
find out the side effects are going to rear its head.
So even with being active, even with our spirituality, you
have to kind of think of how you want to
do it to you know, kind of think ahead. Is
my point, Like, don't don't put your head in the
sand and think about it now to how you're going

(30:30):
to change in a new year. And they'll think about
you're going to change it in a month, and you know,
January first it's going to change, or January fifth it's
going to change. You want to kind of look at
it all through the whole entire year, look at January
I forfevery first, and see what you want to do
to change it. Right, I feel like we have our
head in the sand.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
I agree. You know, if you're on the shots, it's
what are you doing to prepare yourself to get off
of them? Because I think that's one of the problems
that I talk to with a lot of athletes is
that you get on whatever it is, you know, some
painkiller ad or whatever. I'm like, that's not natural to
the human body. You got to understand if you put
something in unnaturally, even though you think, well it's healthy.
You know, the doctor said, X, Y and Z, it

(31:07):
doesn't matter. The human body likes only natural things that
were put here on this earth by God. So when
you put artificial things in there, you're going to have
side effects. Every single thing has a side effect. So
you have to understand, Okay, what do I need to
do right? So if I'm on the shot, I need
to go to Nadia and I need to get a
plan now on nutrition, how to eat right, so I

(31:27):
can start this while I'm still on the shot. But
eventually I'm going to wean myself off that shot. And
now exactly now I have control, like you said, and
now I can continue on the right path, eating the
right things, and I don't need the shot ever again.
Now all of a sudden, I'm taking back my thing.
I also need to put on, you know, muscle, because
you don't want to lose muscle. We all know that
people who lose muscle always always have issues later on

(31:51):
in life. It's a fact. You start to fall, you
have balance issues, you have all kinds of problems that
go on. Yeah, and you don't want that, so you
have to make sure if you are on the shot
and you're losing weight and you think, oh, this is great,
this is phenomenal. I couldn't lose weight now all of
a sudden, I'm down. Have a plan in place, so
when you go off, and I always tell people this,
your body will adjust. It always does. It's like people

(32:12):
who are on certain medication. Why do you think they
have to up the medication to make the same exact thing.
Because your body adjusted and it doesn't need it. It
doesn't feel like it needs anymore. So I got to
give it more, and I got to give them more.
And then we've become addicted to something that's not natural
to the human body and we run into problems.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
And that is huge, And we're going to talk about
you know, the strength. The strength is when you lose strength.
I can't even imagine not having strength to be able to,
you know, pick up anything. You know that that's really
what it is. Your nutrition is the key. You go
back to basics. Basics is always going to be what
basics is where human beings. A body needs food and
nutrients and we need to move. That is the basic

(32:51):
of human being. So go to my trim line dot
com book that free chat. You're going to get a
wonderful special sixty percent off this week. This is time
to do it and take a break and we'll be
right back.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Let's get back to the My trim Line Radio Show
with Nadia on US Radio doub HB Bye ety.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
Hello and welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.
If you're just tuning in, I hope you had a
wonderful Christmas last week, and happy holidays to you however
you celebrate. And I know you're looking forward hopefully to
the new year coming up this week, which it's shocking
to have fast. Oh my goodness, how time goes by
so so fast. I cannot believe that next week is

(33:30):
going to be the new year. And I have the
wonderful coach Brex here. Thank you so much, as always,
thank you time. I always love talking to you. I learn.
I just love learning, and I feel like every time
I talk to you, I do learn something and it
makes me very very happy. And I love that we
like minded. It's really nice to be, you know, talk
to someone that it's like minded as you think. It's
very very important. We should probably keep people around like that.

(33:54):
You should anybody out there listening. You got you got
to get rid of negative people out of your lives,
and you really you need to bring more positive and
like minded people like yourself and it because there's so
much negativity and just so much awfulness I think is
going on out there. I think we each should strive
to become a better person number one, be part of

(34:14):
positive and really cut off people that are negative. I
think they just don't deserve any time anymore. That's just
my opinion. And you know, before the break we talked
about strength, We talked about you being on the If
you're on the weight loss shot or thinking about it,
or you want to come off of it, there's got
to be a plan B in there. You have to
have a plan B. I hope you don't want to
be on something that you're unnaturally putting into your body.

(34:36):
I think that's just long term. You don't want to
do that, right, So have a plan. I can put
the plan together for you to come off of it,
to gain control over food because you're gonna have to
eat food for the rest of your life. That's just
what lot of life is. And right now, Trimline, we're
running an over sixty percent special just this week only
go to my train line dot com book that free
chat and also the strength aspect of it. You know,

(34:58):
when you're on the shots, you really do lose your
strength tremendously and that's where coach Brexton come into play
and really put something wonderful together. You and your wife
work together with that a lot which is beautiful and
he could put that together. In this Tuesday, we are
going to be at his facility at Sports of Explosive,
which is right beside Mount View.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
The Elementary School. Yeah, correct, and it.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Starts at ten you know, ten to ten forty five.
You're doing a lot of sportspeed clinic clinic. Oh my gosh,
I don't. I don't have fast that would go. But
I'm not that fast.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
I can run, but that's why you need to be there.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
I know, I think I'm okay, but I don't want
to do it for a long spirit. Maybe short sprint
is for me. And then at ten forty five to
eleven thirty we're going to have the actual seminar and talks.
So please do join us if you have. If you're
like where is it, what's it about? You can go
to each of our facebooks. It's mine is public now
I made a public and then or you can reach
out to me. My cell phone's on there and you

(35:56):
can go to Nadia at mytrim line dot com and
definitely reach out and we'll give you some information for sure,
or reach out to coach Brex. On the break, we
were talking about strength, and I did feel real that
you're telling me I saw it, But please do tell
because I think it's a wonderful analogy. What's on analogy,
it's actually the truth of what needs to happen for
us to have strength, right, Yeah, And it's.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
A great commercial and we were talking about it and
it just goes to show what is your purpose? What
do you want to lift for? And it was just
old gentleman. He goes into his garage and he has
this heavy kettle bow and I know people have probably
seen I think it's been two years now, and he
tries picking it up and people walk by look at him, like,
what's this guy doing. He's struggling to pick up this
kettlebell and stuff, and then he puts up this picture.

(36:40):
You can't see what's on the picture, but he's looking
at it constantly. Eventually he keeps doing it over months
and months and months. So he goes to Christmas Day
at his daughter's house and she's a granddaughter. So he
has a star. She takes it out of the box,
he picks her up and then pushes her, you know,
towards a tree so she can put it on. That's
what he was picking the kettlebell up for, so he

(37:02):
could pick his granddaughter up, you know what I mean,
and then put her in a position that she could
hold the star. I mean he was probably seven years old. Yes,
I would take it. But it just goes to show
that strength is so key to our life. And I
don't know why people would just want to sit there
and just wither away, Like that's one of the gifts
that we have is our strength. And when we don't
eat right, we don't have the spiritual aspect in place,

(37:24):
and we don't have our physical aspects, we just fall apart.
And then people wonder why we have so many diseases
in this country. It's not because there's something out there.
It's because we allow ourselves to fall apart.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
You know.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
To me, strength is I don't know, So it's just
always been really important to me, and because even throughout
the years and years and years decade, I should say
that mom was ill, right, she really didn't take care
of herself, but she had her strength. That was the
weird thing that was like odd like towards the end
she was kind of losing it, but she's still because

(37:56):
she was a very very strong individual. But I remember
her like having and it's not much of a weight.
Then she was like eighty I think at that point,
but she was like had a five pound dumbbell in
her hand and shes like moving it up and down,
and but she was kind of like, I was like,
you know, it's only maybe it was eight or ten
something like that. I think that's important for us to
keep our strength as human beings. Honestly, our muscle mask

(38:19):
keeps our skin together. Okay, so you want to look
taunt everybody. Every woman is their underarm, right, their underarm
is like I don't want my underarm to be flappy,
you know whatever. And you know, we've had pictures which
I'm going to be doing most of this in January,
of people who are on the shots that don't do
nutrition to people who are on the shots that are
doing nutrition. The look of how they are is like

(38:42):
a night in the difference We're talking the skin, we're
talking their strength, We're talking the color of their face,
we're talking the sinking eyes. Like all of that is
a huge difference from people who are doing it with
nutrition and people who are not doing it with nutrition,
you know. And I get like I said, I got
a lot of doctors and met Spah and you know
with with your Best Life MD that they refer their
patients to me and it makes a huge difference. So

(39:05):
they lose weight faster, number one, but also you're building
a better relationship with food and to me to strength,
I tell them that they need to be active, you know,
and it doesn't have to be going to a gym,
but you need to be active. I think I told
you on the break that last week, you know, I
was having a rough week obviously because of Christmas and
my mom. But you know, I came home from seeing
my dad. My dad's like, you know, my life. So

(39:27):
we come home and it was probably about five o'clock
and I was on the couch because I just was
in the rut, you know, and it's very rare for
me to be it. I'm kind of angry with myself
that I was that that like that that day. I
feel like I wasted my evening. Isn't that awful? But
I was on the couch from five o'clock to eleven
o'clock and I woke, I stood up a couple of times,
you know, I did whatever. I made myself dinner, which
everybody was shocked that I could still eat after how

(39:48):
much I ate that day. But that's not the point.
So but then my hip, my hip was hurting. Do
you know that. I don't. I don't hurt like that.
And I'm like, why is my hip? It's got to
be because I'm sitting here so long. I mean, my
hip was hurting. And then then I got these like
almost almost like an r restless leg syndrome, which is
very very bad. That's good, that's a horrible thing to have,

(40:10):
and it's something that most people control. But I felt
like my legs had like little worms running up it, right,
And I'm thinking to myself, this can't be just because
I'm just sitting there, and I think.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
It was right probably. I mean, the body, the body
does not like to be still, especially people who are
active like yourself, other people who constantly active. Then all
of a sudden you go to a sedentary state for
too long, or sit in one one, you know, the
spot for one too long. Body hates that. I don't
people misinterpret what the body is. The body likes movement.
We have turned it into a slow mechanism. That's not

(40:40):
how the body was ever designed. The body honestly was
not designed to sit very long. That's what people don't understand.
If you go back to hunters and gathers, hundreds and
gatherers did not have time to sit for very long.
They had to move to go find the food and
then they come back to the area, you know whatever.
But if that food moved, just say, migrated something, you
had to go find it. And that's what I think
we have miss in turn. How it is because we

(41:01):
made life so convenient in this day and age. Everything
is convenience everything. People don't want to come across to
it the bridge here, you know, from the west shore
to the east shore, because they like, well that's far
and I'm like, it's five minutes across the bridge, you
know what I mean. Because they don't like that inconvenience
of life. Oh my god, you got across the bridge.
I'm like, guys, we've gotten so far away from what
is human it's just is really perturbing.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
I think it's what it's important to you, all right.
There's a lot of people that don't mind going across
the bridge or being in traffic. They're going shop or
do whatever. It's just like, what's what is important to you?
And I think what should be important to you is
a lifelong healthiness like health and mental so mental health
and physical health, and obviously spiritually you know, you want
to be what you want to be, right so, but

(41:45):
I think the core of it is when we talk
about it, the core of a human being, if you
go back far far, like you said, hunters and gatherers
and nutrition. So those are like the two things movement
and nutrition. And we've come so far away from that
from mood movement because of our technology, because of how
quickly want things, because of the phones that are everywhere,

(42:05):
you know, the streaming of you know, the streaming of
things just to sit there and watch it. And then
also the convenience of what it be the shots or
you know, to be able to then get to a
point where we're really barely doing much to get the
results that we want, and people don't understand there's consequences.

Speaker 3 (42:23):
To that big consequences when you don't move, there's massive consequences.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
And I think because we're hopefully we're smart individuals. You
you know, smart in a sense of human being when
you put one, two and two together, as they say,
you have to think about it. If I'm not barely
doing any work to lose my weight, and I'm not
barely doing any work and a sense of my health
and a sense of my strength, you, I mean, I
think common sense will tell you that something's gonna give.
And that's something that's going to give is you your body,

(42:51):
your how your mind is, how your strength is how
you go into age and coach breks and I would
like to help you to kind of change that.

Speaker 3 (42:58):
So please tell them by this summer thirtieth, This Tuesday, guys,
from ten to ten forty five, we're doing a speed clinic.
Right after that, ten forty five to eleven thirty, we're
gonna be talking Audi and I's gonna be talking on nutrition.
I'm gonna be talking on injuries, what you gotta do
to maintain or not get hurt.

Speaker 2 (43:12):
That's right, And thank you so much again for coming
on today. I really appreciate it. It means a lot to me,
Happy New Year, everybody
