Speaker 2 (00:23):
Tell everyone and happy Sunday to you all. It's a
special Sunday, right.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Some people don't care about football, like the ladies sitting
across from me.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Super Bowl Who then, okay, yeah, you know, definitely Seattle Seahawks.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yep, there you go. Come on, what did your boyfriend
tell you?

Speaker 4 (00:41):
And I don't know the other one? My god, I
know it's the Seattle Seahawks because my son loves the
forty nine ers and they beat them.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
See oh the Seahawks beat the point n Yeah, yeah,
I know that was a sad thing.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
I think they're red. I think they're a red team.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Yes, a red team.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
No, not the forty nine ers, A team, no super No,
there's no leaders.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
No, No, that's the forty nine ers. Forty nine ers.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Were red.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Seahawks are green and blue.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
No, but who are they playing against?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Patriots?

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Are they blue and red?

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Okay? So that's yeah, very.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Very little red this morning, very little red. I don't
think they ever were red outfit the day they back
in the day they had a full red jersey. Okay,
back in the day, like twenty years ago. When she
doesn't even know what the heck she's talking about from
last week maybe okay, yeah, exactly, they mainly blue and
I think what is it the two flags or something

(01:34):
little part of it is red.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yeah, something like that. Yeah, something very tiny. So nice, try,
good job.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
So that's really it's impressive for you. But hey, Steph,
tell everybody who you are and how come you're on
the show. We know we're going to call this the
Stephan Naudia Show. Moving forward, We're trying to come up
with like a really cool name, and we were like,
what was it? What was like prosecco, menopause and whatever.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Oh my gosh, that was so cute.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
I know, but we'll figure out.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
We'll forget the name out.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
I'm Steph Harschwager. I'm a nurse practitioner at Your Best
Life MD.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yeah, and you do so much, and you know we do.
We talked about last time when we were together so
at the weight loss and both talks and this and that,
and we know very well that this Saturday is going
to be Valentine's Day. I know nobody cares about that either.
It's like some people don't care about football. Some people
don't care about Valentine's Day. It's like in Gallantine's Day
is a Gallantine's Day? You know, there's such a such

(02:29):
a thing called Gallantine's Day. It's for women that are
single or hate men. I don't know, there's like a
very fine line between friendship Valentine's Day and we don't
like men Gallantine's Day. I'm not really sure. But so
those are all coming up, and I want to say
thank you so much for listening every single Sunday and
today you know, we're going to talk about a bunch

(02:50):
of stuff. Honestly, we kind of got together. We're like,
we're gonna talk and we don't. I look, we know
what we're talking about, but we're gonna.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Figure it out.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
So you're listening out there. I want you to do
something for stuff, an I please, I want you to
go to Nadia at my trim line. That's my email,
Nadia at my trim line that you would like topics
of Steph and I to cover for you. You know,
so so not only Steph is a Norse practitioner. Obviously
I own trim line, and you know I have a
degree in food chemistry, anatomy and psychology or weight loss

(03:16):
and weight management. But guess what we are still we're
still women. Okay, we're women in our fifties. Oh yeah,
you just brought up some of the names no filter
after fifty.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
I like that one, you.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Know, actually you should. I would love a name for
our podcast here so out there. If you look it
up and you're like, you know what, this would be
a good podcast name for them. Email me at Nadia
at my trim line and let me know pre oh,
pre menopause in prosecco. That's so me. I'm such a
champagne person, not peri menopause.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
We're postman Oh.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
My gosh, is that this?

Speaker 4 (03:49):
So we could be post menopausal and prosecco.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
That'd be mass pro pro pro pro menopause and pro
metopause and prosecco. You know, And I like the laugh
line and life lessons I don't know about that one.
That's my least favorite. I like the prosecco one very much.
So today we're going to talk about obviously love right,
love is very very special, I think, and lom comes

(04:14):
in very very different ways. But I want to talk
about it for you to be able to give love
to yourself so that way you can be a better
version of yourself for people around you. And you know,
I think Steph and I have always talked about this.
We really it takes us women specially. I'm not saying
you men aren't like that art. I'm just saying that
we women tend to, you know, honestly, not focus on

(04:38):
ourselves a lot. We put ourselves on the back burner
and and you know, we just, I don't know, sacrifice ourselves.
I sacrifice myself for you.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
You know what some moms say to their children.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
And you know, Steph, what do you in a years
that you obviously don't know in a mother? Also right
your mother? So tell me what's your opinion on women?
When you meet a lot of women at your work
and even in your past work, and obviously I've made
a lot of women in men, what do you find
that you know we tend to put ourselves in the
back burner a lot, like even because you and I
did it at one point, right, So what do you

(05:10):
think the cause of that is? And how come when
is the little switch comes on that people can change that.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
I think we focus on everyone else, like you said,
we focus on family, We focus on friends, jobs, What
did you say, dog dogs, cast everybody except for us.
So one point in our life you just have to say, Okay,
I need to do this for me. I need to
feel better, I need to feel healthier. So that's when

(05:38):
I went to Trimline and I met you many many
moons ago, yeah, and started Trimline weight loss and lost
the weight, and then you feel better. It's just you
have to at one point in your life decide that
this is something I need to do.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
And then when we do, when we do that, and
because you lost a lot of weight, right, yeah, forty
seven and I'm ironically at fifty seven.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
So we're you need to post our before a picture.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
No, we will. I will absolutely post it before pictures.
Now you will see our before pictures. We're going to
be on Good Day Pa this Tuesday, the tenth day
after tomorrow, at ten to eleven, Good Day Pa, check
it out. We're going to be on there, her and
I are. We're going to be in our little Valentine's
Day outfits. We had them picked out, didn't we We did.

(06:28):
It's gonna be a lot. Yeah, we have a lot
of lips involved. So there's gonna a lot of lips
and brownie and brownie and I'm gonna be eating them,
by the way, because you can eat brownie. Absolutely, Brownie's
are like great, one of my favorites. You know that
there absolutely are. So this smell Tuesday right now. You
bought it this studio with you today for me to

(06:50):
see if they're going to be good to take them
on air Core. I know they're gorgeous. They're like you know,
they are absolutely in a heart shaped tin and yeah,
they're beautiful and they're home which I love your homemade
so your boyfriend's mom made me and so Tuesday, when
you watch Good Day Pa from ten to eleven, you
get to see the actual binders that we're talking about
and r before pictures. So when let me ask you

(07:12):
something because again your mother, you know, so when you
lost the way, do you think that really changed your
like anything about you like, let's say your work, your
your relationship with the kids, Like do you think that
kind of made you your confidence?

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Like what do you think that changed?

Speaker 4 (07:27):
You think what changed changed everything? I wasn't worried about
being the fattest person when I go out. I wasn't
about being the fattest mom whenever I go to back
to school night or to a sporting event. It's just
Wade has so much emotional power over you that you're

(07:48):
worried about, you know, being the biggest person or not
looking as good and everybody else is skinny, and you
feel so heavy and just not feeling good about your
because you're heavier and you just don't feel good.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Yeah, and that and you know, maybe nobody even thinks
that right, Maybe maybe they don't. I'm just saying, but
it doesn't change the fact that it's in your own head.
So as long as you're thinking that honestly, the quality
of life and how confident you are, those are all
going to change. And I really do believe that you
do become a better version of yourself, whether it's for

(08:24):
your family and like you said, even for your cat,
your dog. You know, correct, it could be totally a
better version of yourself. So I urge you. And not
that it has anything to do with Valentine's Day, but
I know it's coming around the corner. It's really takes
some time and look at yourself and see how you
can treat yourself better and how you can love And

(08:47):
I know it's a cliche. I love yourself, Okay, get it,
I get it. But how about you take care of yourself.
How about you look at wellness of what you are
and not just you physically, but also mentally. I really
believe mentally is one of the biggest things, because I'm
totally about that, right. I physically take care of myself.
And when I was overweighted, it was a long time ago,

(09:08):
but then then again I lost my weight, but I
still remember like it was yesterday. That's like the craziest
thing in the world. And you know, the eighties weren't
really great, you know, being overweighted. There's a lot of
heathers back there and pump pum you know what do
you call them?

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Cheerleaders? And I was definitely not a cheerleader.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
I was.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
I was a nerd.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
You know that's this one guy used to call me
so mean, so long I still't remember from eleventh grader, No,
twelfth grade grade?

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Is that what it was?

Speaker 3 (09:41):
You're like, I still that's like a nightmare.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
You know.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Well, my favorite one is you know, you know how
close I am to my dad, right and then I
come home.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
I'm so big.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Clothes are so bad on me because but you have
such a beautiful face. Not you. I'm like, that's just
so mean.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
I know it's like mean, but so sweet, don't.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
I don't know what else would he say. You couldn't
say you have body because you know it's a roly love.
Oh my god, are you gonna bring that up again?
The picture that they're posting on Good Day Pa has
a you and of brow. I hope everybody can just
look at my una brock come this Tuesday, Okay, enjoy it.
I hope you enjoy it. Look at it.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Look at this big, big un a brow.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Everybody always wants that are the big East. So we're
actually on Good Day Pa. We're talking about you know,
stephan I and how much we lost and how much
we want to give ourselves love and take care of yourself.
And you feel like, you know what, I want to
get to know these two jobs a little bit better,
which is Stephan I it's you know. You can believe
or not. We are professional. I swear to you. If

We will. We are people who love people, so we are.
You're coming to a place where we truly care about you.

MD and talk to staff and we would love to
give you some information and see how we can help
you to love yourself. We're going to take a break
and we'll be right back.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
Now back to the My trim Line Radio show with
Nadia here on NewsRadio WHB five eighty.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
Hell and welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
You.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
I am here with the wonderful staff. Steph.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Please tell everybody what you're doing.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Oh Hi, I'm Steph Herschberger. I'm a nurse practitioner your
Best Life, MD, and you're.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
A fun nurse practitioner that's what makes it really nice.
And if you're just tuning in, we are talking about
obviously Valentine's Day is coming around the corner, but we
are really talking about for you to put yourself in
your schedule. Okay, give yourself some love and give yourself
some care and wellness. And now, I know everybody's schedule
is filled with kids stuff, right, I'm sure taking them

(11:50):
to place or you know, football gamesking anything, right. And
also you had things on your schedule, doctor appointments, right,
there's doctor appointments and things that you need to done.
I want you to put yourself on your schedule, like
literally put your name in, like you know, put hey, Nadia,
you know you're gonna go get a massage. Right, So
there are some things that I want you to do

(12:12):
to put yourself on your schedule.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
I know you're a mom.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
You know.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
I talked to somebody last week. I've got to tell
you this.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
So I talked to a bunch of people last week,
and a man and a woman step for two separate times.
They listened to our show last time, and they were
telling me how just you know, you know, we're just great.
They just love the show that we're carefree and they're like,
you guys really like that. I'm like, oh, yeah, we
were women friends for a long time, but you know,
we we're just getting better at talking to each other,
I guess. And I think our friendship and a sense

(12:38):
of spending time together that that honestly is self.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
Love, right.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
I think women need to spend more time with women,
don't you think?

Speaker 4 (12:45):
Absolutely?

Speaker 2 (12:47):
And you know, so they were saying that they really
enjoyed the show. But I was talking to one woman
and she's like, she goes, you know, I do want
to set the console.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
Were talking on the phone the free the free fifteen.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Minute chat, and I could tell that she just didn't
If you don't want to set consult, don't set the consult.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
I'm not I'm not pushing you to do anything. She
was like, should talk about her kids?

Speaker 2 (13:06):
We talk about you know, and she's like, you know what,
I just don't know if I should spend that kind
of money on myself.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
And she doesn't even know how much it is. I'm like,
what kind of money are you talking about?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Right?

Speaker 3 (13:15):
And she goes, well, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
I said, so if it's a hundred bucks, what.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
Do you think if it's a thousand dollars, What do
you think?

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Right? And she's like, well, I don't know because I
just feel guilty spending any kind of money on myself.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
Right.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
So I told her to think about it and then
text me if she wants to do the consult. Long
story short, she did think about it, you know, and
she and she literally texts me again and saying that
I just don't know if I should, you know, spend
any kind of money on myself, even if it was
one hundred dollars. She was just thinking that she shouldn't.
So I never understood why we women. I think it's

(13:50):
more us women than men, because I think I find
a lot of men have no issue spending money on themselves,
whether it's health or whatever, or you know, golf clubs
or punching bags, whatever whatever it is. They have no
problem spending money on themselves. I just never cars. Yeah,
I just never understood why we women are so hard

(14:11):
on ourselves to invest in ourselves. Do you have any
opinion about that, because I know you've dealt with a
lot of women, obviously our most pectitioner. Do you think
there's something that's a wired loose in our brain?

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Probably we're too focused on taking care of everyone else.
So we take care of the kids. We make sure
that their clothes are great, and they're enrolled in all
the activities and they can do things, and they have
a car, and they have this and they have that.
Then the husband and make sure he's okay, and our

(14:41):
parents and then we're last.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Yeah, in the home, making sure everything about the home
is great, you know. So and we put ourselves lves
And anytime I've seen a mother or a woman do that,
whether they have kids or not, right because you're not
I'm the kids. So so what I've seen that happen
with I have a lot of friends I don't have kids, right, so,
you know, even if they still put them, I always

(15:04):
find that they are not doing well.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
You know.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
They are the ones that are really struggling there.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
Don't take the time to take.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Care of themselves, right, So and I find that to
be even more of a struggle to be connected to
anything around them. That gives you more confidence and for
you to be able to kind of live your life
and be really happy. And that's what we want to
make sure that you listen when you listen today, okay,
and it could be men out there if you men
you're doing that, you're not got off too right. You

(15:34):
need to make sure that you really take care of
yourself and you are part of fun things when it
comes to your spouse.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
So when it comes to your.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Girlfriend, boyfriend, your significant other, you have to make that
relationship also a priority. And if you're single, you know
you have to make yourself a very a priority. Do
you know when I was alone for a very very
long time, I made a lot of women like, well,
I'm a mom myself now, or they're kids have moved
out and it's just them and their husband or boyfriend.

(16:03):
They literally said, I cannot tell you how many women
say to move, but I'm not going to cook anymore
just for myself or just for him, and I I mean,
that doesn't make sense to me. I'm like, so you
don't want to take care of yourself and cook for yourself,
what's the big deal? Right you?

Speaker 3 (16:16):
You should treat yourself.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
With a queen.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
I know. I love Hello Fresh. You don't have to
think about the recipe. They send you everything you need.
They're healthy. Although the prep time will say ten minutes,
and it does not take ten minutes. I'm forty minutes later.
Into prep time and oh.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
You say it's takeing a long ago.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
I don't say prep time ten minutes, that's be it.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Yes, I don't know artists you allow to say that.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Yes, it's fun.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Yeah, yes again.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
Okay, So it's bs because ten minute prep time takes
forty minutes. It said ten minutes, and ten minutes later,
I'm still mincing the garlic and I thought, oh my gosh,
I'm never making this meal again.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
But there are ones that are there's other ones way
out there.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
They're so good. But John has it down to a tee.
So he does all of the Hello Fresh meals and
he has all of his bulls out and he's all organized.
And I'll say, honey, do you want me to help you?
And he's like, no, I got this. I think because
he knows, so he does.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
He'll make his ten minutes into forty minutes of yours.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
He can do the prep time in ten minutes. Me
not so good.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Okay, So I don't think this has any to do
with Hello Fresh.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
I think what he has to do with you.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
But that's a good alternative for people that don't want
to cook, so you can still get healthy meals. And
I believe they you can get pushing everything two or
four people more than that, but they're healthy and there's
something different instead of you making the same things every
single week.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Yeah, and you see, And you know me and I
are so different. We're very much a lug, but we're
different at the same time. I can eat the same
thing all the time, right.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
No, I hate leftover.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Oh my gosh, what is except for.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
Hamm and green beans? And I like hamm and green
beans as the leftover and chicken and soups, but everything
else that no.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Yeah, see, I do like leftovers and I make them,
and I make a big things and I have it
the next day. And I you know, I don't do
Hello fresh because I just I like to cook and
I don't care if it's the same thing. And I
was talking again to another lady and she goes, part
of me is because I hate grocery shopping. She goes,
I absolutely hate grocery shopping. She does.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
I hate going there.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
That's what I said, told her, you read my mind.
She goes. What I said instacart. Do you know you
by the time you drive there, you do things instacrt
it comes out to be equally the same price.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
Oh, it's it's cheaper because when you go to the store,
don't tell me you don't impulse buy. So you're walking
down the aile you see this and I'm like, oh,
that looks really good in my car, Yep, this looks
that's actually yeah, you save so much more money by
doing instacart because you're only buying what you need. Whereas
I go to Wegmans, and I have this little affair

(18:53):
with the cheese guy at Wegmans because every time I
go him like.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
This John he does.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
He knows I love the cheese white whit.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
I go and he sees everyone who's gonna go to
try this?

Speaker 4 (19:05):
You have to try this one. You have to try this.
He's young, he knows everything about cheesus I'm like, oh,
I like that one. Oh, that's a good one.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
So this cheese guy is.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
He's very knowledgeable about the cheese, about the cheese.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Yeah, and I love cheese too, but not not not
not to the point again you again, I'm an unfair
with the cheese guy. Let me tell you that. But
I do love cheese. I mean honestly, I really do so.
So instac card is amazing, and you know you can
search what you want. That means you're not going down
aisles and getting even tempted by other things, right, we see,
I love grocery shopping. I know it's very weird, I know,

(19:42):
but if I don't get tempted on things, what do
you mean you it's a grocery you're like five years old.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
You know. It's like.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
The look you gave me one of my five.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Years old with you.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
It's like I do, honestly because it's my it's my
time to walk around and I look at things and
I look at the nutritional facts.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
I actually really enjoy it.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
But you know, I mean I do look at the
dessert because you know, I love dessert, but most of
the time I don't put it in my basket, you know.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
So do you look at the nutritional content on everything
that you pick up before you put it in the cart?

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Yeah? Well, if I don't know what it is, so
if I'm really looking some things, I buy. And we
tend to buy the same stuff we people, Honestly, every
one of us when we go to grocery store, we
buy the same stuff. It's sometimes very rare to pick
up something else and put it into your cart, right, true,
and so half the time I already know. But if
I'm like picking something new up and I look at

(20:38):
the nutritional fact, yeah I do, because I really just
want to know what's in it before I put it
into my cart. I And when people say don't go
to grocery shopping hungry, it is so freaking true. That
is so I thought that will never But I'm hungry
all the time. I'm telling you, one time I went
to the grocery store hungry. This is ridiculous. Okay, I

(20:59):
bought this was in my card. I bought Stakhums. Okay
do I.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Because I love beef so much.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
I'm like, oh, I'm gonna chop this up right away
and put it in my mouth when I get home.
You know, I bought Steakums. I got pudding. Oka. It
was so random.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Crap was in my cart.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Okay, I got putting, I got I mean, I don't
know what else there was.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
It was just like stuff that was so random.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Then when I made one of them, I'm like, Oh,
these steakums are awful. Right, I'm like, why did I
even buy this car work card? Oh?

Speaker 3 (21:29):
It was awful.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
It's absolutely awful. So we are talking about we are
going to come back and talk about Valentine's Day and
actually what we are going to be on Good DAYPA
this Tuesday from ten to eleven. Please see us on there.
And you know what, if you like to get to

Speaker 3 (21:59):
Hell them, we'll come back and thank you so much

Speaker 2 (22:01):

and honestly, if you go back and listen to the show,
it's it's chaotics. It's very chaotic, and you know we're
gonna we're gonna just really start the Stephan Nadia Show.
What do you think, Steph, Yeah, I'm with it, okay,
And introduce everywhere else you know yourself.

Speaker 3 (22:20):

of fun things you do, weight loss injections, lasers, boatox fillers, ivs,
all kinds I know, and you're also and the Nadia Show.

Speaker 2 (22:35):

that just became part of it. And also we are
going to be on Good Day Pa come this Tuesday,
so really check it out.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Please you can record it.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
I'm gonna post the clip up on my Facebook because
I'm trying to still figure Instagram out because I'm ninety.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
So just as I'm trying to figure out chat, GPT,
have I've been saying gee BT or something.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
I don't know why even looking at that right now,
but oh yeah, because our names. Yeah, so just so
you know, Steph and I are going to start a
podcast and we're trying to come up with a good name.
And if you think of a good name for us,
be nice people. Okay, you can send.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
Me not girls, two girls, one mic and a hot Flash.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
Oh yeah that's us.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
We like that one.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Well, I obviously have the hot Flash consistently.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
I have night sweats.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
I'm about to take my you know, here we go again.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
So I do not have a winter coat on, so
you guys should know this is my third time on here.
If I do not have a winter coat on, she
is sweating, so she's going to start stripping here in
a minute.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
It's so true.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
I'm the only art I can't totally fully stripped because
are not larger down. Yeah, exactly. And honestly, if I
if I could just be in my sports bart, that'd
be awesome, you know. So, So again, we're going to
be on this Tuesday at from Good Day Pa from
ten to eleven, and I hope you go watch, and
we will definitely post some pictures afterwards.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
Oh yeah, we will.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
So Valentine's Day is this weekend.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
It is.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
Yeah, it's not just about romance. It's about self love.
And we've been talking about self love. And no one
knows self love better than you and me. I agree, right,
you own Trimline. You've been with Trimline. You've owned Trimline
for seven years. Seventeen years, my gosh. And I've been
a nurse practitioner for about over fifteen years because I

(24:35):
had to renew again. Yeah, and I've been with your
Best Life for the past three years.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
For the past three that's awesome, you know. And seventeen
years went by like a freaking flash. And you know, obviously,
and again we're talking about Valentine's It just because it's
coming around the corner. Not that I ever go out
to Valentine's Day dinner or anything like that, because ever,
again that's what the Lovens for the youngins, lovin's and youngins,
you know. But the most important relationship truly is the

(25:00):
one you have with your body, right, with your body
and your mind.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
And it isn't just about women, honestly.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
You men are horrible also in some shape or form
to take care of yourself right art.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
So the thing is, it's.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
Like, just throw them in there, just us.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
Well, it's true between him and JC, and you know,
I got r g onto control a little bit. But
you know, you men are really bad with that because see,
we women how we don't take care of ourselves are
two different things. You men don't take care of yourself
by never going to the doctor and thinking there's nothing
wrong with you. I go to the doctor then, oh great,
two years ago all the time?

Speaker 4 (25:38):
Good? Oh okay, you're yearly physical.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Oh yeah, definitely do that. Yeah, the yearly physic. Yeah,
yearly physical. It's once a year, right, hence yearly physical. Okay,
that's what you need to go. I know, but I
feel like there should be more than that, right, they should,
you know, get blood work done. You know, a lot
can happen in once a lot of can a lot
can happen once a year, an entire year goes by.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
I really think we need more than that.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
You're good, yeah, but I.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Think women and men really need to take better care
of themselves, especially men men really, because you know, we
women are very I don't know if we get it,
if we have a belly, if our hair goes gray.
You know, we were very phinic. We get a wrinkle
for piztez sake, every single one of my wrinkles, I know,
but I know them and I know when they come.
And you know, age spots, you know, there's just like

(26:29):
a million things that you know, my.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Hand didn't help with the age spots. Really, vi ipel
is the best. Really, I just did one four weeks ago. Look,
I think it looks it.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
Looks really nice. Actually, yeah, I have one way here.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
You see that the feel I know, I gotta I
gotta get with you. I keep saying that. But you
know the focus is is that we do focus on
everybody else. Whether it's like you said, whether it's our kids, family, dog, cat,
We just do it We do it because I think
it's easier not to focus on ourselves when we're focusing
on something else, right, because then you have to look
at yourself long, hard in the mirror and.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Be like, hmmm, how did I get to this point?

Speaker 2 (27:04):
You know, And a lot of people, a lot of
women are like, I'm trying to look my mom, you know,
like they're like, oh, I'm you know my mom, that
kind of thing. Right, So our conversation today is about
putting yourself first. And we talked about this and when
you when you watch Good Day Pead this Tuesday, I've
lost fifty seven pounds.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
I've lost forty seven.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Yeah, and so you're going to see our before picture
and mine's a gem.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Oh mineus too.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
You know, I cannot believe her before picture.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
Actually I didn't even give you the really big one.
I just gave you the one where I lost forty
seven pounds. But right after I had coal, I was
even bigger than that. But then I had lost weight.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
You were bigger than that. Yeah, yeah, I mean you look.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
I mean he's sixteen. Yeah, you know that baby weight
just never came. It was two years later. And I
just had a baby two years ago.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
We say that, you know, I'm gonna take the baby.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Wait up, eight years later, it's still there, you know,
because the baby we does not want to come off.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
That's like fell crow stuck to me. It just didn't
want I go.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
And then that's what that's why, you know, honestly, that's
why I've part of its nutrition is the key and
then you know the weight loss shots are there, right,
So that's.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
What the food noise that was. That was definitely a
trigger for me because I I heard that food noise
all the time I had breakfast. I'm worried about, oh
what am I going to have for lunch? What am
I going to have for dinner? But the worst word
about that was even if I wasn't hungry, I was eating.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
Why it's mindless eating.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
You know, it's mindlessly mindless eating and boredom and people
you know, eat a lot doing stressful times. I mean
there's a there's happy times, you know what I mean,
there's just there's just mindless eating going on. And we
talked about this before because for me, I do think
about food all the time, right, And the ongoing joke is,
you know, like let's say, if I'm out somewhere and

(28:51):
I say, oh my gosh, I can't wait to come home.
Guess what. Guess what? And then he's like what. I'm like, God,
I'm starving. He's like, aha, it's like a big it's
a big laughing because I'm hungry. I'm hungry and I eat.
I say this to people. And you know, when when
I was talking to somebody else last week, I'm like, honestly,
I do eat for like a two and fifty pounds man,
and then I and we really should be eating a lot.

(29:12):
I was talking to a woman at the gym and
she's she's pretty heavy set, and she's like, you know,
I do about what she says, sixteen hundred calories a day.
I'm like, oh my god, number one, don't count calories.
Number two, I do more than that. And she works
out like four or five days a week, and she's
probably I'm going to say at least I'm gonna say
at least seventy pounds heavier than me. And that love

(29:32):
you caloridy deficit, which I hate that. Those two words
are like, I hate them with the passion, right, So
you need to eat to lose weight.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
That is number one.

Speaker 4 (29:42):
That's so important and protein. You need to eat protein.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Proteins if you're on the shot. She's how many times
have you said, if you're on the shots.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
You need to have to eat protein, Like, I don't
care if you if you don't, I mean, you can
not go all day without eating. You have to eat.
And I say, even if you're not hungry, you need
to have a protein bar, protein shake, eat one for breakfast,
eat eat one for lunch. But you have to eat
especially protein.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Yeah, and the shakes your muscle mass mules.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
And the thing is, it's like, if you can't drink
a shake.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
Honestly, it's not that you can't drink a shake, then
you are just I tell people, if you can't find
time to drink a shake, you really don't give a
don't you don't care about you drink way to work,
drink it anywhere you could. You can drink it in off,
you could walk from here, walk there. If you can't
find time and give yourself respect to have a drink,

(30:32):
then you really have to think how much do you
really care about your health?

Speaker 4 (30:36):
Right?

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Not?

Speaker 4 (30:36):
Really? You don't care enough to lose weight or to
get healthy if you can't even drink a protein yeah, but.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
You're just doing the shots because it's the easy way
in the sense of, look, I'm just losing the weight.
Why should I even drink anything or eat anything? I mean,
think about that, how much, honestly a little bit of
disrespect you have for your body that you're not even
willing to have a shake or a bar or apple
sauce for that matter.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
You know what I mean. Apasols doesn't have protein.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
But I'm just saying, if you think about it, on
for you to be able to get your protein in,
And to me, that's just I could never understood that
I stop to make sure that I eat. I don't
care who is with me. I don't care where I am.
If I'm gonna if I want to eat, I'll eat.
You know, I've gone through drive through of Dunkin Donuts
last week and I got a wake up rap with

(31:24):
the turkey sausage and egg no cheese. I hate She's
on it. It's like a tiny little wake up rap.
And you know, at seven pm and I drove through
and I picked one up. It was the tiniest little
thing I've seen in the world. Just it was just
like a little appetizer before my dinner. It really was.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
Okay, it really was.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
So it was better than John.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
We got it.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
It really was. I mean to me, it was better
until I got home and I tied, you know, tied
me over. So we absolutely want to come back and
talk about Obviously we're going to be on Good Daypa
this Tuesday from ten to eleven. You get to see
our before pictures, which there are absolutely fantastic. And you know,
if you look a hey, let me see what I
can put nutrition into my.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
My daily life.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
I can put nutrition. I'm on the shots, or you
want to get on the shots and you want to
transition at the shots. That's where Steph and I come
into play. You can just go to mytrim line dot
com and book a fifteen minute chat and I will
hook you up with Steph and that way you can
do one both or you know, just either one. So
I'm gonna take a break and I'll be right back.

Speaker 5 (32:26):
Let's get back to the My trim Line Radio Show
with Nadia on Use Radio doub HB five eighty.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
Hell and welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
And if you're just tuning in, I really appreciate it
and I would love and urge you to go to
WHPE site and listen to the show. It's a fun show,
you know you're I'm here obviously very sweaty.

Speaker 4 (32:48):
I'm dying of keys us double Nichols again. Yeah, menopause girl,
Well we're both MENO puzzle. But I said, if if
I don't have my code on, she's dying. So the
sweater is coming off.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
I tried for three segments, honestly, I really tried not
to strip.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
Moore, aren't just like why am I?

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Why am I?

Speaker 3 (33:08):
Why am I doing this?

Speaker 2 (33:09):
Okay, So it's been a lot of fun and I
hope you enjoyed the last segment also, but we obviously
we know that Valentine's Day is coming around the corner.
And please, please, please, We've been talking about you taking
care of yourself, whether your men or women. You know,
go to Dockers, you know, put yourself first, focus on things,
and you know easy things that are out there, meaning
the weight lost shots. I'm not saying that it's easy,

(33:30):
but honestly, taking a shot once a week to lose
the weight, it's not the hardest thing in the world,
but do it right and put your nutrition with it.
That is really important. And this Tuesday from ten to eleven,
I look ridiculous with my shirt half off, but I
have something underneath the people. So anyways, this Tuesday from
ten to eleven, we are on good day Pa, And

(33:52):
you know you're gonna see her before and after picture,
and that is really you'll see the not well after.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
It's us. We're gonna be sitting You're gonna be sitting there.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
You're going to see our before picture. And you know
I work with you on the inside to make you
nutritionally sound, and staff works with you on the outside
because you know, honestly, people, ladies and gentlemen, confidence is attractive.
I truly do love confidence. When somebody's really confident, that's
really important. And nutrition equals real love. Eating enough protein

(34:21):
is one of the biggest acts of self care, and
balanced nutrition helps hormones, your mood, your muscle, which I
really am to muscles okay and well time, I gotta
get them bigger.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
And your skin. We don't want saggy skin.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
Especially at our age. This menopausal skin is not good.
And even losing weight correct and you're not eating the protein.
My biggest regret is I didn't do weights the whole
time I was losing weight. So there's a lot of
saggy skin going on over here. You know.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Remember a couple of times when we've been known, you
shaid it for a long time, but I think it
was last year sometime and I said to you, I said,
you need to eat more. Actually, then we go to
that PERSE thing and I was first feeding you. I was.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
I went to the PERSE event, you know, for abusive
for women. It was for charity, and and you know,
You're like, I want to eat.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
And I kept taking food and I'm shoving it in
your mouth and You're like, I don't like sea food.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
I like eat the freaking trimp.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
So I was like telling you to do it anyways,
because I was like force feeding you. And you know, honestly,
with Valentine's Day, everybody loves chocolate. I loved, I do
love chocolate. And chocolate is on the plan. You're going
out to have pizza in the plant. You know, wine
is on the plant. Alcohols on the plan, right, yay?
But we know that the food calls our name. Sometimes

(35:40):
the food noise is overpowering, and to be honest, for
some people is deafening.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
You know.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Sometimes you know people tell me or I say, hey, Nadia,
the piece of chocolate. Come on over here.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
You know, Hey, Nadia, I have a whole pan of
brownies for you. And I'm not gonna lie brownies or
my weakness. I love brownies.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
That's why.

Speaker 4 (36:00):
Well, if it wasn't for some my glue tied, I
would eat the whole pan of brownies.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
Really, so that's really there's a difference.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
No, I totally would I would eat I love brownies.
Maybe not at one yeah, not at one setting, butting
a pan within two days.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
Two days easy, like kind of Pea said, take it.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
Every time I walk by, I would just hear peace. Yeah,
but not now I don't. I don't think about the food. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
And so the so it does take the for what
I obviously noise away, right, and but it doesn't change
the fact I still to this. They love when you
say that. It does not speed up your metabolism, not sped. Yeah,
and it doesn't teach you to eat right, it does not, Okay.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
But it does kill the food noise.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
Killing the food noise, it's blocking those cravings. That's the
thing that it does. It's sending the signal to your brain,
so you're not hungry, but it's not speeding up your metabolism.

Speaker 2 (36:58):
Yeah. And on top of it, it really you're not learning
how to eat right. So at some point, if you
do want to come off of it, which I hope
you do, and even if you want to stay on it,
I don't care.

Speaker 3 (37:07):
You want to be on a maintenance on it for
how relng.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Whatever. If you even want to do that, You're nutrition
still needs to be there.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Your nutrition needs to be there.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
Because I'm a huge fan of muscle mass, I really am.
I can't I harp on it if you ever listen
to my show, I harp on it massively. Your muscle
mass is what keeps your skin together. It's what your
metabism is really important in. It's where your strength comes
to play. If you eventually cannot pick up a case
of water, or you're a grandchild or you can't you know,

(37:42):
God forvid you fall and you break something. I mean
that is your muscle mass and your bone density and
nutrition is what takes care of that, you know. So
and yeah, so that's probably what it eat the whole.
But you're kind of getting a little bit more better
with your nutrition and gaining control over it.

Speaker 4 (37:58):
Yeah, so now I do have more control. I can
eat a little piece of brownie.

Speaker 2 (38:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (38:03):
Good.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
So now what we want to do is and you
know when we go on on to Good Day Pa,
this Sunday, and this Sunday, this Tuesday, we're going to
be on there from ten to eleven.

Speaker 3 (38:15):
And we know that, you know, above all, we want
to make.

Speaker 2 (38:19):
Sure that we talk about nutrition and for us to
be able to be able to do things. And I
think we teamed up for a good reason, right, Okay.

Speaker 4 (38:30):
Because your best life MD, we incorporate the weight loss
injections to help kill that food noise. We know that
the injections alone don't teach your body and mind how
to keep the weight off. That's why nutrition plus mindset
equals long lasting love, not just a fling.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Oh look at that point in that Valentine's Day and
their love love to a fling. Right, And you know,
let me tell you something. I think sometimes we do
like a fling. I think maybe when I was younger,
not now. For God's sake, no way I want to
do that. But you know those those that's absolutely temporary.
It's very temporary. So most of us want lasting love.

(39:09):
And in my mind, that's where nutrition comes into place.

Speaker 4 (39:12):
You know that nutrition is naughty as long lasting love.
I'm not gonna lie. Mine is botox, and I love botox.
Botox isn't about changing who your It's about looking as
rusted as you feel. So we can have the botox
and we can still have our nutrition. But she loves nutrition.
I love botox. I do like nutrition as well. But

(39:33):
he talks is my drug of choice.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
Yeah, I love it, and you know, and nutrition is
my drug of choice. So I think we do very well.

Speaker 4 (39:39):
Well.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
That's why I.

Speaker 4 (39:40):
Take I keep you wrinkle free. We're good, We're good.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
I get wait to be wrinkle free.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
You know.

Speaker 3 (39:48):
It's like, okay, can you do a.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Little bit of this and a little bit of that
and a little bit is a little.

Speaker 5 (39:51):
Bit of that.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
I'm not there yet, and it says of too much
of it, right, But you know, I think, no matter
what a woman wants to do, or even a man,
because men you that you absolutely should do it. You
should you should invest in yourself. You should be happy.
We only have this one life to live, and if
you're living it unhealthy and miserable and don't have strength,
then you don't like what you look like in the

(40:13):
mirror with the shots, without the shots or whatever you're doing.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
You need to.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
Take this today, today, today, today, today. Okay, fine Monday
if we want to do it Monday, but you need
to change the path you're on and make and really
look towards the summer coming even around the corner to
feel good, get firm, be lean, lose the weight, but
also build a better relationship with nutrition, with yourself. Yeah,
with food and yourself. Those are the two things that

(40:39):
we really want to you know, build a build a
better relationship with So now being that this is what
is it.

Speaker 4 (40:47):
You want eat eat to live, No, you want need
to live, not live to right, And I think that's
very powerful because we don't want to live to eat.
We want to eat to live. So that means we're
just eating because we know we have to eat, not

(41:08):
like we live for every single meal and all the
food and all this.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
Yeah. I always tell people that you can't have a
party in your mouth every day. No, do you know
that I've been saying that to people for a long time.
And now you and I we do love to enjoy
our time, right, I mean last show, we sounded like
we're alcoholics. But we do like our spirits, right, and
then maybe next Sunday, aren't we gonna bring like alcohol
to you, your favorite being the Long Island iced tea. Okay, yeah, he's.

Speaker 3 (41:36):
Like, I don't think so, no, but we are. We're
gonna do it.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
So don't forget this Tuesday coming from ten to eleven.
We're gonna be on good day Pa. And you know,
we love to have fun, but we really do take
our job seriously, don't we. Even though we sound like
we're silly, but we really do love our jobs and
we take it very, very seriously.

Speaker 3 (41:52):
So you're gonna be.

Speaker 4 (41:53):
This is weight loss. It doesn't break your heart, that's.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
Right, right, I know, so this is a weight loss
that doesn't break I love that you come up with
a really good stuff. Okay, that's really nice. So go
to my tramline dot com book that fifteen minute chat,
or go to your Best Life MD and ask for Steph.
Step They're gonna ask for you, right sure, yeah, come
over there and meet with her. We can act take
care everything on the inside, and STEP's gonna do everything

(42:16):
on the outside on the outside. And you men can
also look at Testarstrom too. Oh yeah, because love is
in the air.

Speaker 4 (42:22):
Love is in the air.

Speaker 3 (42:24):
