Speaker 2 (00:23):
Hello everyone, and happy Sunday to you. I hope you're
having a wonderful weekend. You know, it's been an interesting,
I don't know, a couple of weeks with the weather.
I think I think we all feel like the weather
has a little bit of bipolar going on mother Nature.
Tiny bit possibly, but you know, we know for sure
(00:45):
the warm weather will be here. We felt it a
good bit for what two days. Maybe. Let me tell
you one thing. And first of all, I want to
say thank you so much for listening and I always
appreciate it, and all the feedback has been tremendous. Like honestly,
I am just so thrilled and so grateful when I
have Steph Harshberger on with me. People really seem to
(01:06):
love that a lot. She will be on with me
next week and possibly the following week are not going
to be Double Nichols until we're not Double Nichols anymore,
and then now we're gonna have to come up with
a new name. And so, and I got people that
really emailed me with some interesting names. Some of you
are extremely sweet. Some of you out there are very sassy,
(01:26):
and I like that too, okay, and somebody out there,
I can't. I can't do those names. They're just very dirty.
So I'm not going to even go there. I know
or shook your head, right, it's so true, So we.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Know very well.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
I mean, if you don't know, obviously, Saint Patti's days
this week and I mean, I don't know who cares
about it, but younger people sure do. Irish people, I'm assuming,
and people that pretend they're Irish people, I'm not really sure.
On that day or this weekend, actually, there were a
lot of people that were wearing including me yesterday at
the New Cumberland Prayed. I really had a good time
(02:00):
and it was packed with people. So so if you're
doing anything, I think next weekend. When I was talking
to RJ about a couple of weeks ago, he's mceing
or something of the Harrisburg Parade, and so which is happening.
I guess a week from this this Saturday coming, that's happening.
(02:20):
And he's like, well, if you're gonna go to a
New Cumberland want, you're got to come to the Harrisburg one.
I'm like, oh boy, okay. The guilt, the guilt that
he puts on me. Sometimes he goes come and check
it out. I'm like, I will, I think, I poppy will.
What am I doing? It's like, it was a twenty
twenty seventh, that's gonna be Yeah, what is it? It's
gonna be the twenty six is a Friday. I don't
(02:41):
know what I'm doing? So well, twentieth No, this twenty No,
this week is the twentieth. The twenty first would be Saturday,
that's right. And of course art because the twentieth being
that it's the day of spring.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
We talked about this is your birthday? Is it really?
Oh yeah, you sure knew about it?
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Okay, you sure note of art and we talked. I mean,
I would say it's a joke, but you know, the
funny non funny thing is your birthday is on Spring.
Such a beautiful day, new beginnings, flowers bloom, everybody loves spring,
and it can go on and on, and then mine
is on nine to eleven, which is just, you know,
(03:19):
totally the opposite of what people feel on your birthday.
And yet you and I will never forget each other's birthday.
So for totally two different reasons that's gonna be. That's
all honest, and that's the truth. That's like, you know,
we're special in our own way, that's for sure. So
if you're not doing anything for Saint Patty's Day, if
you already did it, or you're doing it this weekend,
(03:41):
I hope you have a good time and be safe.
But we know very well that obviously Spring is this Friday,
Isn't it pretty awesome? It's coming up, And not only
we're going to celebrate Art's birthday, which we will, we're
also going to celebrate spring. And you know, who knows
what's gonna the weather's going to be. I don't, I don't.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
I don't trust it until happens.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
I think last week sometime some areas of the wast
DC and you know Virginia in Philly, I think they
got a little bit of snow like a tad snow,
and I'm like, yikes, that that always happens every time
we get like a really hot day, Like, have you
realized that, I think a year before neigh before that happens,
we've got a couple of really hot days, then like
(04:22):
four or five days or a week later, we're getting snow.
I don't know. I know that mother nature is interesting.
I have to talk talk to Tom Russell about this
to see why that happens. Maybe he can, you know,
give us some insight on it. But we all know
that summer's coming. You know, a couple of weeks ago,
last week, whatever it was that you did feel, that's
seventy nine seventy six degrees. Let me tell you one thing.
(04:43):
One thing when menopause has helped me is for me
to really enjoy winter and and the hot that hot day, man,
I was boiling. I am just hot, hot, And I
used to love summer. Do you know, you know all right,
I would because I have a very very old to tea,
an autitude tea. I've had it since two thousand and one.
(05:03):
It's my baby. I just love the darn thing. It
was the first time that I ever made a suit
of money. It was used, by the way, it wasn't new,
and I bought it for myself. You know, I'm like,
I'm gonna buy something myself, something really nice, right, And
I used to This is way before menopause. I would
go through drive through Starbucks. I don't go to your
Stobocks anymore, but I used to. I would have the
top down, it would be like one hundred degrees and
(05:24):
I would have a hot coffee in my hand. Jeez.
I know people would drive by and look at me
and be like they think I'm nuts, right, And I
was like, ah, awesome, right now. If it was fifty
degrees and I had a hot cup of coffee with
the sun beaming on me, I would probably die. You
know that. That's like how what menopause does to women.
I know you men don't understand, but it is crazy
(05:46):
how it changes us women. And boy, as I said,
the winner is the winter's better a little bit for me.
So what we're gonna talk about today is obviously summer
will be coming around the corner. We already got coming shortly,
and for ourselves to really get our mind right for
the spring and the summer, and for us to really
(06:10):
this is what I'm constantly praying about that everybody out
there that's using the weight loss shots or whatever they're doing,
And I don't care what you're doing, as long as
you're doing it and you feel happy about it. Is
for you to put your mind in a right place
to not only lose weight, but also for you to
be able to maintain weight, but really get your head
(06:31):
on right.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
I mean, that is really the most important thing.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
And you know, for many people, you know, losing weight
is a significant challenge, and I know that the weight
loss shots kind of made it less of a challenge,
right unless you stop it or you try to get
off of it. Then you try to be healthy, which
that then becomes a challenge. And every diet and weight
loss has its pros and cons they all do, honestly,
(06:59):
every single one of them. But for any to really work,
you've got to get your mind right. If you don't
get your mind right, whatever you're doing is just a
waste of money, time, side effects. Especially when it comes
to the weight loss shots, it just isn't going to
last long or forever. And even though you're like, oh
(07:19):
and I've been on the shots for a year, I'm
on the maintenance aspect, I'm keeping it off well, then
you're looking to be on it for the rest of
your life, which it's not going to be good for
your body, if your livery, for your kidney, if you're
pancreas it just the list goes.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
On and on and on.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
But you eventually do want to nourish your body, keep
your muscle mass, and look good and feel good, not
just physically what you see on the outside, which a
lot of people are losing muscle mass, but also on
the inside. So quite simply, without the right mindset, your
weight loss journey will be more difficult to start, and
(07:55):
your goals will be more difficult to achieve, and specially
talking about your long term goals right and goals of
reaching a number. If you're like, I'm losing weight, I'm
reaching a number, This is awesome. That's not a goal.
That's a very bad goal. Actually, your goal should be
to be healthy. Your goal should be to nourish your
body and be comfortable in your own skin and in
(08:18):
your own mind. So for you to be healthy, healthy
and skinny are two different things. Healthy and losing weight
are two different things. And if you're like, well, I
came off my blah pasture of medication. I came off
my diabetes medication, great, but you're still putting another drug
to fix a problem. Okay, And every drug, I don't
(08:40):
care what it is, has a side effect and long
term effects of it. So to really set your mind
in the right place, that is the most crucial thing
you can do. And you don't have to do one
or the other. So even if you're on the weight
loss shots or whatever you're doing, you still need to
work on getting your mind your head straight, and you
(09:01):
could do both. You absolutely could do both and build
habits that are actually going to be more long term
because you are doing both. So shifting your mindset about
how to lose weight or how to maintain it, honestly
is the biggest factor and losing weight and for it
to not come back. So we can't shift our weight
from the outside without realizing the correct inner resolve and intention.
(09:27):
And you know, I've lost a lot of weight. I've
kept it off for a very long time, and I've
actually in the last few years have gotten a little
bit leaner and more control of food. I don't do
any weight loss shots, and again I don't down anybody
on doing it, but it's just not the way I
did my weight loss and not the way I do
teach everything at Trimline. We really look forward to and
(09:50):
we love our clients because whether they're on the weight
loss shots, because I do have a lot of clients
that are on them, they are learning how to eat
right there, urishing their body. They look amazing as they're
losing weight, like absolutely incredible, and the results are tremendous.
So this is the time to do it before spring,
before summer. But even if you're underweight loss shots or
(10:12):
whatever you're doing, we need to get our head straight
and that's exactly what we do at Trimline. So it
is a wonderful time to do it. You're going to
get fifty percent off, you get one month free, whether
you're undershots or not, and that way we can really
help you to get your health under control, not just
a weight loss, get your mind set for you to
(10:33):
be able to maintain your weight. Go to mytrim line
dot com. It's just a fifteen minute free chat and
when you book that fifteen minutes to talk to me
on the phone, you will get fifty percent off and
one month free. Once we decide to take the second
step together. I'm going to take a break and i'd
be right back.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
Now back to the My trim Line Radio Show with
Nadia here on NewsRadio WHP five eighty.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Hell the welcome back, and thank you so much, thanks
for listening. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. And
I know some celebrated Saint Patty's Day over the weekend.
There was some really wonderful parade's happening. Yesterday there was
one at the New Cumberland Parade, which was fantastic, and
then this weekend Saturday, which Arjia Harris is going to
(11:19):
be there. He's going to MC the Harrisburg Saint Patti's Parade,
which you know what, I don't think I've ever been
to it, and if I was to, it was a
long time ago. So I think I'm going to make
plans on And he kind of talked to me last
week when we're having coffee in the morning, He's like,
if you're going to New Cumberland, I got to come
to Harrisburg one. So I think I guess I'm going
to do that. I'm going to go and check it
out and enjoy it and hopefully the weather would be nice.
(11:41):
So we'll see if that's about we are talking about,
you know, with the summer around the corner, obviously spring
is coming in this week. To really put our mindset
to a place where, you know, if we're doing the
shots and losing the weight or whatever we're doing, uh,
to get our mind also set in a place to
be able to continue to lose weight if that's where
(12:03):
we are, or to be able to learn to maintain
our weight, but more so to honestly be nutritionally sound,
to make sure that you're feeding your body in a
way because when we're human, the food is really what
nourishes our body, and we can't do a liquid diet
or starve ourselves all day, which most people are doing
on the shots, which is awful. And you know, as
(12:26):
you heard it from a bunch of those practitioners and doctors,
the weight loss shot does not increase your metabolism and
it does not change your mindset on how you look
at food. So once you stop it, you know, over
eighty six percent of people gain it back, and they
have damaged a lot of things, and especially your you
know your bones, your muscle mass for sure, you know
(12:49):
your skin elasticity, so those are all the all the
things that are the side effects are there. So the
main thing is is to really we need to shift
our mindset. We need to fix what's between our between
our ears. Our mind is the most important thing when
it comes to whatever. We try to lose the weight
to then build habits of being able to keep it off.
(13:10):
And that is something in the last year, especially because
these shots became so prominent, is what we're doing at Trimline.
I have like now over forty dollars over their patients
to me and a couple of medspas because people are
on deep shots and they're either at some point not
losing weight, or they have really some health issues going on,
or they have reached their goal and they really need
(13:31):
to learn to maintain it. So they literally have pamphlets
business cards of mind that they give to their patients. Okay,
and this is really a place where you want to
be smart about it. You want to be like, Okay,
now that I've lost my weight or losing my weight,
and how am I going to do things to nourish
my body right? Because you can't you can't really sabotage
(13:51):
yourself and be like, Okay, I'm going to be honest
for the rest of my life. Right, it's like you
doing keto for the rest of your life. You're doing
at fasting for the rest of your life or liquid
diets for rest of your life.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
A shot is the same thing, don't I can't.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Imagine that you're going to be comfortable being on a
shot for the rest of your life. But I really
do hope even if you are going to do something
like that, that you're still nourishing your body in the
right way, because if you're not eating, you are damaging
your body in your mind. I mean, we're talking now
that because people are malnourished because they're not eating right
(14:26):
on the shots, they're relating like dementia and Alzheimer's to
it and bone density and braid of bone and breaking bones,
and and they're younger people. They're even talking about not
being to have children, you know, or going through menopause earlier.
Even so, there are some really huge side effects. So
(14:47):
even if you are like, Okay, let me do this
to get started, you need to make sure that you
put nutrition with it. We are crazy busy in the
last especially in the last six months, because of these
weight loss shots, because people are like, oh, you know what,
at some point, I'm smart, I want to really get
it to a point that I'm not going to be
on this for the rest of my life. And the
(15:07):
nutrition then, because we do give you one on one
counseling accountability, We help you plan things, we help you
understand nutrition based on your body. We want you to
learn to build a better relationship with your food and
obviously a build a better relationship with yourself because we
help you do that as you're losing your weight. So
by the time you reach your goal, it's going to
be second nature to you. So who you start with
(15:27):
us and who you end with us are two totally
different people. Not only knowledge of nutrition that's the easy part,
but really for you to fix what's between your ears
your mind when it comes toward weight loss and keeping
it off. So the key is you want to change
your lifestyle to be healthier and for you to eat
more healthfully for yourself. That simple shift in how you're
(15:52):
thinking about the undertaking could have a big benefits. You know,
rather than focusing on how much you weigh or how
you're you know your pants fit, or how the scale's
going down, or how skinny you're getting you should be
thinking about longer things, about overall health and well being.
People should focus on eating a healthy diet that is
(16:12):
high in quality, you know, as high as they can
personally afford. And it's not expensive to eat healthy. You
think it is, but honestly, it's considerably more expensive to
not eat healthy because in the long term, really you're
really damaging many, many aspects of your body and your mind,
and not just on the numbers on the scale, because
(16:34):
it is very possible to have a shift in body
composition more muscle, less fat, but not see changes in
the scale number. So if the scale number is going
down really really fast, you really are losing your muscle mass,
because we all know muscle weighs more than fat.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
And that is my thing.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
That's the thing I harp on. I will do it
for the rest of my life. I'm into your keeping
your muscle and losing your body fat. And that's exactly
how I live my life, and that's exactly how we
teach it to trim line because when you keep your muscle,
you look good. Your skin's not sagging, you're not weak,
you're not going older getting even weaker. Your bones are
(17:13):
not brittle, you don't look your face like it's sunk
in and you look like you then have to put
a lot of botox or whatever you need to do
to fix it, which that's going to be lifelong. Also,
so you got to even if you're doing all of that,
that is not the issue. I'm not saying just because
you're doing those things, you're doing things wrong. I'm saying,
do those things if you want to, but at some point,
(17:35):
learn to put the nutrition, the right combinations of food
into your body so it does feed your body and
it does feed your mind. And you know that is
sometimes frustrating for people when they don't see their weight
go down as fast, which I don't know where that
came from, like how fast you can lose your weight,
when if you research it, the fastness is your muscle,
(17:57):
you're just depleting it absolutely one hundred percent. So I
would want to keep my muscle. I want to look good.
I want to age gracefully but also look fit, and
that's exactly how I live my life. And I also
think we shouldn't focus on weight loss, but rather should
focus on health. You know, we've been in a diet
(18:18):
world for so long from the nineteen whatever, fifties, forties.
You know when weight weight watchers came around the nineteen
sixties and they jumped on the bandwagon of everything else.
So the key is you need to be smart and
think for yourself that you know what weight loss should
really equal being healthy, being healthy, looking healthy, growing older healthy,
(18:45):
not look like you are just a skeleton or just honestly,
I mean, we see them so much around it's unbelievable.
And to look really really healthy, and let's be our
healthiest self or our most fit self, not our skinniest self,
because seriously, that just is bad, you know it is.
(19:08):
It's unhealthy. You don't look good, and for you to
be able to even maintain it is going to be
very hard to do. And if you gain all your
weight back after all of it, the way these shots
specially make you lose your weight, it's a it's a
terrible way of gaining your weight back. How your body
composition is is absolutely unrecognizable. So trendline, we believe adopting
(19:31):
a non diet thought process can support longer term success.
Diets are not sustainable and are usually temporary. It's just
to me, a shot is a diet. It's still a diet.
You're still doing something that you know. It's a drug,
it's a diet, and any success with diets is usually
short term and weight is typically gained back once that diet,
(19:54):
that shot, you're putting starches back. You stop doing calorie counting,
points counting, stop doing micro macros, and stop doing liquid diets,
any kind of diet. You stop doing it, you're going
to gain your way back. Instead, focus on improving your
daily habits to make lasting lifestyle changes. That's all it is.
(20:16):
We're teaching you to really change your daily habits. You know,
your choices that you're making, the things that you're putting
into your body, when you go out to eat, when
you have drinks, and I do all of that. I
go out to eat. I love to go out to eat.
It's very fun. I like it. I like to drink,
you know, over the weekends, even though a lot of
times anything that I talk about we sound like we
(20:37):
drink way too much, but really we don't. It's over
the weekends. So it's really you want to live a
normal life, whether you drinking, don't drink, whether you know,
however your life is. We'd absolutely individualize that at trimline
everything about it, working out, not working out, eating out,
not eating out, drinking alcohol. You don't do it. And
we all love food, we really really do. So whatever
(20:57):
you're doing, what you need to do is fix your
mind because that is what's going to help you to
maintain it for the rest of your life. So right now,
we've got spring coming somewhere around the corner. You can
go to mitroline dot com. It's a fifteen minute chat.
You can fill out a quiz. It's a cute little
quiz very quick. You can book a chat with me
even if you don't want to fill out the quiz.
(21:19):
And when you do book it, we're going to talk
on the phone. Just by you doing that. If we
decide to take the next step, you get fifty percent
off in one month free. I'm gonna take a break
and I'd be right back.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
Welcome back. This is the my trim Line Radio Show
with Nadia here on NewsRadio WHP five eighty.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Hello and welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.
If you're just tuning in, I appreciate it. We're talking
about obviously, Spring is coming this Friday, along with Art's
birthday that we're so excit about I'm gonna.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Keep saying it. I don't care what you say.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
And then also we know this summer is going to
be around the corner. So this is really really really important.
Of what we're talking about is you know, getting your
mindset when it comes to the warm weather coming. You know,
whatever you're doing to lose weight, if you're at that stage,
if you need to maintain your weight, if you're like,
(22:11):
I'm on the shots, so I want to come off
the shots. If whatever you're doing, you're like, I really
want to look to do it healthy. We're talking about
kind of repositioning, reframing the way we're thinking. You know,
it's our mind is the key. The mind is everything
when it comes to you being able to do something
for life right. So your mind needs to be right
when it comes to losing weight and maintaining it, but
(22:35):
also for you to be able to really learn nutrition.
If you're doing all the shots and things like that
or whatever, Keto, you know, there's everything that's out there
because you want to be able to keep your weight
off for life. And we talked about why our mind
needs to be in a good place. It can't be
about let's see how skinny I can get. It should
be really about how healthy I can be, how fit
(22:57):
I can be. So those are how we can really
change our mindset. And I did say and it's absolutely true,
and I like the people that already booked online, is
that you can. You know, when you go book to
mytrem line dot com, it's a fifteen minute phone conversation
that you have with me. As soon as you book
that you get fifty percent off and one month free
once we decide to set the consult and once you
(23:20):
decide that you want to proceed, so there's no pressure.
It's just talking to me on the phone, which I
love to give you any information and ask and answer
any questions, so there's no pressure on my part. You
don't even have to book anything after our phone conversation,
and you can whatever situation you're in. If you're on
the shots, you're like, you know, I want to come
off with them. I'm seeing results, I'm not seeing results.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
I'm doing this.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
Whatever your situation is, I would love to talk to
you about it, give you some ideas, answer your questions,
and if you never do anything beyond that, that's not
a problem either. Okay, And part of really of us
wanting to lose weight and get healthy. You really need
to explore your why. I don't think and they all
do time that I wanted to lose weight since I
(24:01):
was in eighth grade in high school, I started really
gaining weight. Then that I ever say to myself, I'm
want to be skinny, right, or I want to really
lose weight fast, because even at that point I understood
that all those things are unhealthy ways of thinking. So
your why is extremely important when attempting to make you
(24:22):
know meaningful and lasting changes to habits, including those that
you'll need to shift to become successful with dieting and
or you know, losing weight or being able to keep
your weight off or whatever your goal is. You need
to examine your motivation right and being real with yourself
(24:42):
and accepting success will require making habit changes to your lifestyle.
And if and I know, the shots don't really do
that for you, right, they don't. They don't change your habits.
You're not really putting a lot of show on yourself
to lose the weight on some of them, and for
(25:03):
some people, you're giving yourself a shot once so a
week or taking the pill. Now, whatever the key is
really your habit changing, changing the habits in your lifestyle
and your mind. What's in between your thought when it
comes to food. None of that is changed, right, So
are you ready to make these changes and do what's
(25:24):
necessary to achieve healthy and sustainable weight loss?
Speaker 3 (25:28):
And that's those sort of two.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Really important words, healthy and sustainable. And you're like, I
don't care. I'm doing a shot, I'm losing a weight,
I'm putting the pants on that I can. I don't know.
I think that at some point, I hope and I
urge you and I pray that you really think about
the long term consequences and also understand that nourishing your
(25:52):
body is part of a human being. You're human being.
You need to eat and you need to do it,
and you need to do it in a sense to
carry yourself and whether you're in your twenties, thirties, forties, fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties,
because I do have clients in the eighties and that's
why they're living longer, because they're eating healthier. You need
(26:12):
to nourish your body, and the less you do it,
the more of an impact you're having. There's no ifsymbots
about it. Okay, there's we're human. Okay, if we could
just do a liquid diets all the time and you know,
not nourish our body. You know it's Alzheimer's. You know,
dementia is now related to them, malnutrition, bone density, pancreas, I.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Mean, you name it.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
It's unbelievable how all these are coming around. And even
the worst one was ozempic obviously, which now they're saying
that's like the highest death rate at this point. So
there's a lot of things to it. No matter what
you're doing, you got to put your nutrition with it
and then change your mindset with it. So sustainable, healthy
and sustainable. Losing weight in a healthy way means more
(26:58):
than just going on a diet giving yourself a shot.
It could mean a complete overhaul of how you approach
long term maintainable goals. Behavioral change, for instance, starts with
knowing what you want and committing to that path. Healthy
choices require preparation, practice, and anticipation of barriers. You know,
(27:21):
in succumbing to different forms of sabotage can lead you
to fall into dangerous cycle. A main reason that things
fail after a while, right because there's a moment there's
a time, there's a sabotage, there's a party. There's things
that are going to happen out there that life throws
at you. It could be detrimental, it could be tragic,
it could be happy, it could be you know, it's
(27:43):
all over the place, but most of them are really
related to food. And you want to change your thought
process toward food, so you cannot only nourish your body
and be healthy, but lose weight and be able to
maintain it at the same time. So instead, you know,
your goals need to be something tied to or you,
something that you care deeply about can help you make
(28:05):
your weight loss goals a priority, but also your maintenance
and what you deeply care about, Okay, and I say
this all the time, and needs to be yourself. Number
one thing that you should deeply care about is yourself.
And if you deeply care about yourself and you're doing
(28:26):
something to damage your body and you know it is
and absolutely there's not a single person out there that
does the shots, even in the professional doctors meds Black
people that they don't know it damages your body if
you do not put nutrition with it.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
They say it. The people that produce these.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Shots tell you that that you're damaging your body if
you're not putting nutrition with it. So the first thing
you should be tie it to is for you to
care deeply about yourself that you're not constantly damaging yourself
in the long term, short term for some, in long
term for sure for all. So getting to that core
(29:05):
what makes you feel healthy and while you want to
lose weight is a key aspect of being successful. It's
not enough to have a weight loss goal. You also
need to understand how that will improve your life and
why it's important. Okay, just losing weight and getting skinny
or fitting into those genes or you know, and I
know that these shots like okay, I'm off my blood
(29:27):
pressure medication or my diabetes or my cholesterol. I get it.
But on top of it, you are doing other side
effects that are detrimental and you're not eating and you're
not putting nourishment in your body, and that is going
to have long term effects, really bad ones. So at Trimline,
we want our clients to enjoy the journey of getting
(29:47):
healthy and losing weight. I mean really enjoying it. I
tell people you need to love this journey because you're
going to get to know yourself. You're going to be
able to have that accountability to get out of your
own head to learn about nutrition and even I have
a lot of clients that are ont weight loss shots.
It's amazing how much better they're doing and how their
relationship with food is just changing. And then eventually they
(30:09):
stop the shots, and after they even do, they still
lose weight. Some of them that still want to lose weight,
and then they're able to really maintain it when they
are in their maintenance and they don't want to do
to shots anymore. So it's a win win. It's an
absolute win win, And we recommend thinking about what you'll
need to enjoy in your meals. I want you to
(30:30):
enjoy your meals. I want you to eat what you
want to eat right, whether it's high carb, high sugar,
so I do that. It doesn't always have to be
a perfect healthy meal. I don't even do that right.
So it's really things to be able to really enjoy
your life. When we know these things, we can adapt
them in healthy ways so that meals.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
Are actually enjoyable.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
They don't have to be your stress reliever, your comfort
to your happy place. But you know what, at the
same time. Again, I'm going to say this. We're human.
We need our meals to be enjoyable. Sometimes they're just fuel,
which even when they're fuel, I still love them. And
you know, for you to really build a good relationship
that your food is enjoyable when it's healthy, when it's
(31:14):
high in car when it's high in sugar, but for
you to be able to actually eat and enjoy your food.
After all, if every meal is misery or you're constantly
skipping it and not eating, then you won't stay on
it very long. Okay, it just I can't even imagine
not eating all day, to tell you the truth. So
you have to build a better relationship with food. You
(31:36):
have to understand that losing weight needs to be healthy
and it needs to be sustainable. Those two things healthy
and sustainable meaning for you to be able to keep
your weight off and if letting go onto shots, are
not on the shots and want to get onto shots.
You know, we do everything at Trimline along with the
medspot that I'm working with, But nutrition is the bottom line.
(31:58):
Even the people that created these and pills and everything
tell you that, your doctors tell you that, everybody tells
you that, So be smart about and connect the nutrition
with it. And when you go to my trimline dot
com and book a free chat, it's a fifteen minute
conversation with me. You're actually gonna be talking to me, okay,
and we decide to proceed to the next step, meaning
set the consult You will get fifty percent off in
(32:20):
one month free and even then you do not have
to make any decisions, so there's no pressure whatsoever. It's
just us talking on the phone. Go to my trim
line dot com and book that free chat. I'm gonna
take a break and I'll be right back.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
Let's get back to the My trim Line Radio show
with Nadia on NewsRadio double HP five eighty.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
Hell the welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.
I hope you enjoyed your weekend, continue to enjoy it
today and then you know there was some Saint Patti's
thing's going on yesterday or what is past weekend, and
then some going on this weekend.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
So if you're doing that, I hope you enjoy it,
have fun.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
I'm thinking about going this weekend Saturday possibly, and we
know very well that you know spring is come in
which I've been saying every single segment and she he's
gonna kill me soon.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
It's Art's birthday.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Also ours birds is on spring Day, so any spring
day is your birthday or they just fall this.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
Time on It usually falls on the twentieth.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Oh nice, look at that must be nice to have
that beautiful, amazing birthday rather than a certain summer. We're
not going to mention any names. It's on nine to eleven,
so you know, that's that's interesting, very very interesting. So
thank you so much for tuning in. And we're talking
about our mindset right with spring coming, there's some really
nice spring cleaning and being able to hopefully have a nice.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Weather and for it to stay.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
And we know very well summer's going to be around
the corner, or it's going to be hot right away.
Who knows, you know, who knows what's gonna happen. Who
knows what you know, Mother nature is going to do.
But we know it's going to get warm. But we're
talked about setting our mind also to a place where
we can not only lose weight or get healthy or
do whatever we need to do, but for us to
be able to do it healthy and sustainable. Okay, so
(34:06):
just losing weight to get skinny or doing the shots
and you know, being malnourished and not feeding your body nutrients,
which now the studies have come out that there are
massive side effects on them, not just physical me and
the pancreas, your heart, you're all that stuff that's going on,
people dying from it, but also honestly your brain. Okay,
(34:26):
so they're because we're being not putting enough nutrition into
our diet when it comes to these shots, especially or
we cut out foods or liquid diets. Dementia, Urzheimer's, bone density,
breakage in your bone, saggy skin obviously, so.
Speaker 3 (34:42):
Those are all really huge.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
They were huge for a long time, but now the
fact that your brain is not getting enough nutrients is
the big one. So people are foggy, they're getting they're
forgetting things, you know, not remembering things again, dementia and Alzheimer's.
So you really want to be able to nourish your
body because that's going to really be what's going to
(35:05):
help you sustain. And we're human, we need that, Okay,
We've done it from you. God knows when that we
need to eat food. And the key is what to
fixes between what's our ear right, So what's in our head,
your relationship with food, knowledge of nutrition, which some people
think they know nutrition, but believe me in seventeen years
(35:25):
that I own my business over seventeen that most people don't,
even the ones that think they're really really eating healthy. Honestly,
there's tiny little things that you're doing that that's adding
up in a week. So on focus on education and
what does that mean. You're unique and your plan to
lose weight and get healthy needs to be personalized to you.
(35:45):
It has to be for it to stick and for
you to keep it as part of you and to
be able to keep the weight off for good. It's
very helpful to understand how different foods impact your body
and how it impacts your body as well when it
comes to your mind, and how you're going to burn
fat and how you can get energy, and how you're
(36:05):
gonna be less puffy, you're gonna have less inflammation, for
you to sleep better. It's all in there when you
educate yourself when it comes to nutrition. Adopting a mindset
to learn about your physical wellness is a very helpful practice,
so meaning learning about it right. You don't have to
go get a book of diet being dietitian or whatever,
because that's nothing.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Oh my gosh, there's nothing to do with you.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Okay. It has to be personalized, it has to be easy.
You don't have to be micro macro things.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
And anything like that.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Nothing like that. So seeking health education from a reputable
place and not a gimmick can help you ground your
journey and solid evidence based information that's tailored to your
specific needs. That's all I do. I'm the owner of Trimline.
I have a degree in food chemistry and psychology of
weight loss and weight management. That is all I do.
(36:58):
And I have a small staff including me that's been
with me for fourteen years and longer. Trust me, we
know what we're doing and we're very very good at it.
So you'll be working with professionals about what makes for
a healthy diet and a healthy approach to weight loss
for you. And even if you're on the weight loss shots,
(37:18):
even if you're seeing tremendous results, and if you've lost
weight really fast, you've lost your muscle mass. Okay.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
I have met probably in the last i'm.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
Gonna say honestly month in a handful of people that
have done the weight loss shots, and they really couldn't
open up like a simple bottle of something to unscrew,
a bottle of water that was a little bit hard,
would give it to me or Champagne, I mean, you
(37:48):
name it. It's pretty. It should be a red flag
if you're losing your strength, okay, and that means your
bones are also getting brittle and weak and a lot
of breaking bones and falling and being you know, totally
losing your strength and your bone density is absolutely happening.
(38:09):
So think long term. Do you really want to God
forbid down the road, fall and break something and then
for you to barely be able to heal because you
don't have enough strength and your bone density is low.
So those are really important things that you need to
think about. And we at trim Line we put your
nutrition totally together for you. If you're like, well, I
(38:31):
can't eat, I can't force feed myself, they don't have to.
We come up with all of that. I have clients
that are on the shots and they're doing absolutely magnificent.
They look amazing. They came to me look in a
certain way and they look amazing, and a lot of
them have come off of it. Someone are still on it,
and I want to continue to lose weight and the
nutrition's with it. I mean that's a win win, smart,
(38:53):
one hundred percent move. So establishing a sustainable health habits
is a whole person process that's also influenced by sleep
and external factors like social life and stress. Everything will
be tailored to you for your complete success. Think of
weight loss as just one aspect of taking care of
(39:15):
your whole self. Right, That's just one thing when you're
losing weight, you're putting the shots or whatever you're doing
to lose weight, that is just one aspect of it.
Your nutrition is the whole thing. Like that is what's
going to bring everything together for you. So you absolutely
can you know, when you go to my trim line
dot com you can get it. It's a fifteen minute
(39:37):
chat that's your book with me, and when you do that,
you get fifty percent off on one month free if
we decide to work together, so there's no pressure on
my part. I'll give you some information. Then if you
want to set the console, we'll set the consult and
then we go from there. And it's just a fifteen
minute chat to get information. It's like you're worth it,
You're absolutely worth it to do it. If you're like, Okay,
(39:57):
I'm on the shots, and you're thinking, should I really
see there's a better way of doing this and my
nutrition and for me to put them together, for me
to be able to then eventually come off of them,
any of these crossing your mind. And if you're like, really,
I'm on the shots, I'm seeing great success, let's say,
but something within you is nagging that, Okay, I don't
(40:18):
know if you should be on this for the rest
of your life. That's your smart conscious, right, it's telling
you that do you really want to be on this
for the rest of your life? Right? And that's used
at that point is to just book a free chat
with me. That's all you need to do. And you
do not need to make big changes. Don't feel like
you have to make big, huge changes. Weightless does not
(40:40):
have actually doesn't come with big changes. It comes with
small changes. Believe it or not. It's the tiny little
things that we do that each week we focus on
small changes that does not overwhelm you or turn your
whole world upside down. Think of each change as a
building block, starting with small steps which will lead to
big changes. And to me, that's how you really make changes.
(41:04):
And be able to sustain them and not get overwhelmed
and feeling like your whole world's going to turn upside down.
At Trimline, we do a lot of emotional counseling around food,
healthy eating, and weight support. We help a lot of
clients about health, weight and emotional issues surrounding eating. We
focus on the mental health side of things because your
(41:27):
mental health is extremely important. It's almost as important, if
not more important, than your physical health. To go hand
in hand. You have to have the mental health and
the physical health in any event. If you're struggling with
body image, feel compelled to lose weight but don't fully
understand why, or just need a sounding board as you
(41:47):
navigate making these changes, trim Line is able to help.
Seeking support early increases your success because if you could
lose the weight in a natural way, right through food
and maybe some activity, you would have done it by now.
So if you're going through shots and you know, dieting
and cutting things out, I don't want you to be
(42:09):
doing that for the rest of your life, and your brain,
right we're smart people, is telling you that you shouldn't
be doing that for the rest of your life. So
nutrition is the key was always the key for decades
and decades and will always be the key because we're
human and we need to eat. So go to my
trimline dot com book that free chat.
Speaker 3 (42:30):
Have a wonderful Sunday,
