Speaker 2 (00:24):
Tell everyone, and happy Sunday to you. I hope you're
enjoying your weekends so far. And do you know what?
I know that today is Father's Day? Right is Father's
Day weekend or today? It's I should say, And you
know I don't. I don't need a day to celebrate
my dad because him and I are very close. So
if you've listened to me at all, and I want
to say, thank you so much if you do, and
(00:45):
I always hope that you are learning something. And then
the guests that I have typically are teaching you something
or motivating you to make a tiny change or absolutely knowledge,
knowledge as they say, is power. But you know, I
hope all the fathers, whether it be for because you
know for Father's there too, you have like you know
what you have cats or dogs or horses, like like
(01:07):
a ten million kids that you know, Art, you have
right pretty close. Yeah, like it's really darn close. Oh,
I mean honest, it's the same thing, you know, pets,
and pet's our family, that's for sure. And I'm gonna
later on today go celebrate my dad, which you know,
(01:28):
he's the love of my life. He's the most amazing
man in the world and God given hopefully will celebrate
his ninety third come August. Art. You know, I said
this all the time every time I see him, and
I always I see him at least once a week, constantly,
I tell him, because you know, mind over matter of mentality,
I'm like, Dad, think a hundred, Think a hundred. I
(01:50):
always say that to him. He goes, Oh my gosh, Laudia,
he he chuckles, and he goes, I don't know about that.
I'm like, am I just think a hundred. So I
hope that you are celebrating, whether you're you know, a brother,
a father, stepfather, grandfather in even the for daddies that
I said, I hope you have a wonderful day and
you are loved always and feel it because and it
(02:13):
doesn't have to be just today you know, we celebrate
my dad constantly. I celebrate the fact that I that
is still in my life. I thank God for that constantly.
So I really do hope you enjoy your day and weekend.
And you know, we know summer is here officially. I mean,
summer's been here kind of with the hot and humid
weather and then pouring rain and then hot humid weather
(02:35):
and the pouring rain. So somebody's been here, but official
it is officially summer, so I we know before you know,
it's going to be gone. I feel like it's more
winter in a little bit of fall, more winter. Spring
doesn't even exist anymore. I don't think it does. And
then then it's like humid, muggy summer. The weather in
Pennsylvania is definitely nothing the way I remember when I
(02:55):
first came to this area, which was in like I
don't know, I grew up in state college, so it
was really totally different. I think we had the four
seasons long time ago. Don't you think art it's changed?
Oh my gosh. Yeah, I mean there's barely four seasons anymore.
I mean, we still have it, but I mean I
guess you can say if you have two days of
one season that we still had it, so I guess
(03:16):
that might be considered that too. Now today, obviously we're
going to talk about So I'm transitioning trim line, whether
you want to call it an elite way of an
elite trim line, but I do have a degree in
psychology or weight loss and weight management and food science,
and we really want to I'm transitioning to business because
(03:38):
there's a few of us, including me and my counselors.
There's only a total of five of us now and
that've been with me for fifteen years longer, and I
really want to transition it to a hardcore psychology of
weight loss and weight management, so it would be one
on one with me and we would be able to
(03:58):
It's like a concierge kind of counseling without the concier pricing. Okay,
I actually my doctor just became a what she calls
a pseudo concier because concier doctors typically don't take insurances
at all, and you pay I don't know, anywhere from
two thousand to twenty five hundred for the year, but
then you still have to pay out of pocket when
(04:19):
they do other tests for you, but they give you
more time or attention for Concier doctor, but she actually
still takes your insurance and doctor francis that way, so
she takes your insurance. If you decide to do like
a pseudo, you know, Concier and Mine's going to be
nothing like that, so you're not gonna be paying two
thousand or anything like that. It's just more of a
(04:39):
one on one in depth counseling. So you can set
up a first counseling session for free. We can set
aside half an hour for that. You can go to
my trim line dot com and find out, okay, what
is the more advanced counseling of psychology of weight loss
and weight management. But especially if you are on the Shots,
(05:00):
this is absolutely for you. I probably have oh my gosh,
it used to be like about thirty doctor for patients,
but it's more and honestly, I can't take everybody on.
It's absolutely crazy on how the people are on the
Shots and the doctors are really the right. Doctors are
really trying to help their patients to be able to
(05:21):
learn nutrition and be able to keep the weight off.
And I think that's the big thing. The big thing
is them really trying to help people not only lose
the weight on the shots, but able to build habits
of keeping it off. So you know, it's really to
take control of your health without depending on any medication.
(05:44):
You know, whether it's too GLP ones and it is
a medication, that's exactly what it is. To then be
able to really make more of a lifestyle change. And
for years many people have relied on diets, medications, and
now obviously the GLP one weight loss shots to achieve results.
While these tools, you know, really may have a place,
(06:05):
lasting success comes from understanding nutrition behavior in the psychology
behind weight loss and weight management, which that is the
degree that I have, and I actually have a master's
in it. At Trendline, my focus is on one on
one counseling that helps you develop a healthy relationship with food,
gain confidence in your choices, and learn how to maintain
(06:29):
your weight long term. My goal is to educate, empower
and support you so that you feel in control of
your body, not dependent on a medication to manage it.
True success is finding peace with nutrition, which is really
important because food is never going to go anywhere. Understanding
(06:49):
your body's needs, your nutrients, you know, for you to
age gracefully, for your skin to look good, for your
mind to be sharp, and creating habits that allow you
to maintain your results for life. This version positions you
as an educator, a counselor. That's exactly what we're going
to be educating, counseling while really making sure you have
(07:13):
your independence, your confidence and long term success, which is
extremely important for that. So the mind body weight blueprint,
like I literally have put a blueprint of that together
to make sure that we are able to not only
lose the weight, but for us to truly control everything
(07:35):
to be able to keep the weight off. Okay, so
it's a blueprint, and every blueprint needs to be different
because everybody out there, anybody out there listening, you are
a very unique individual human being and your mind and
body is very unique also, So they're a blueprint of
that needs to be created. And that's exactly what I do.
(07:58):
Because I have a master's in psychology of weight loss
and weight management and nutrition and nutritional science. The counseling
that I will provide it will be deeper and really
correlated to you on what you're doing on a daily basis,
not just physically but also mentally and able to really
focus on creating really strong muscle mass. Now you don't
(08:21):
have to be buff and going out to the gym tremendously.
But honestly, I'm also going to get into the fact
of the one on one personal training, whether it be
in your home or at a gym, so it is
you can do one fold or both. So it could
be nutrition. So whether you're on the GLP ones or
you want to transition off or don't totally do one
(08:42):
hundred percent nutrition, it's all personalized. So whether you're on it,
you want to transition off of it, you just want
to do one hundred percent nutrition. I can absolutely create
a blueprint, a totally individualized program for you. Then if
you decide that you want to add some weight training
in there or activity in there, it could be from
the comfort of your home or even at a gym,
(09:05):
and you're like, well, wow, how does this even happen
or how can I get more information? Honestly, your first
consult is free. Your first consult to look at your
blueprint of your personal program is absolutely free. Okay, So
we'll set up a time. It will take us maybe
anywhere from I would say half an hour. You can
(09:26):
do a fifteen minute phone track at the beginning, or
fully signed up for the consult, and it's free to
create a nice blueprint for you on what it's going
to look like. And that way you can really create
an educated make an educated decision on if we want
to proceed so, and that's the blueprints very important. So
what if weight loss isn't really about food? Right? I
(09:48):
mean we always think it's about food. Food's what makes
us gain weight lose weight. But what if it isn't.
What if the reason so many people lose weight and
gain it back has less to do with cal definitely,
and more to do with habits, emotions, routines and their
stories we've told ourselves for decades. Oh my goodness, I
(10:11):
always say old school diuid mentality. There's so many things
that we do for old school died mentality. And even
though the shots have helped you lose weight, they have
not fixed the habits, emotions, stress, routines and the stories
that you've been telling in your own head for decades.
So the way to do this, honestly is book a
(10:32):
free consult. Okay, And again we're going towards the psychology
of weight loss and weight management. Go to mytrain line
dot com book that free chat. I'm gonna take a
break and I'll be right back.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Now back to my trim Line radio show with Nadia
here on NewsRadio WHB five eighty.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Hell and welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.
If you are a father of fir baby father or
anybody out there celebrating Father's Day, I'm wishing you the
best Father's Day ever. I cannot wait to see my
own father. I'm very, very excited. If you go to Naudio.
So yeah, I'm not your shriefy. I own trim Line,
(11:11):
but you can go to my Facebook. I know I'm
still Facebook. I can't get Instagram under control. I just can't.
I don't. Do you have Instagram? I do, but I
don't use it very often. I'm so confused by it.
Everybody you know at the gym, or people that I
know that are younger than me, like Nadia, you know,
it's so easy. I don't just still get it. It's
not easy to me. I don't know any I am
(11:31):
on Instagram. It's it's actually my trim Line on Instagram.
But Facebook is very easy. But if you go to
my personal Facebook, which is not your shriefe. Probably. I mean,
you're on my Facebook and I'm on your Facebook. What
is it like eight percent about my dad? It seems
that way. Yeah, yeah, So you get to see him.
He's shrunk over the years, as cute as a button,
(11:53):
but honestly, I love him to Death's he's just the
most amazing man in the world. And it's funny how
over time, you know, the roles change. You know, you
end up taking care of your parents when your parents
used to take care of you. Now, thank god, he's
still really doing great and there's no burden by any
(12:14):
means involved with him. So but it is in some
shape or form you're still kind of like mothering them
a tiny bit, and the roles do change. So I
hope that any celebration you're doing today you celebrate for
decades to come, in years to come, and may your
parents and brother and grandfather and uncle and anybody that's
(12:35):
a man in your family be very happy for a
very very long time and be absolutely blessed. And you know,
we're talking about obviously when we talk about weight loss,
and you know, there's so many people that are referring
to the the GLP ones. You know, it's really important
to understand that at some point you want to come
(12:56):
off of that or transition off of it and be
able to do something without a medicaid. And you know,
of course I'm Laudia. I'm the owner of Trimline for
almost you know, two decades, which is crazy. I have
a master's degree in psychology or weight loss in weight
management along with a degree in food science. For nearly
two decades, I've helped people not only lose weight, but
(13:17):
more importantly learn how to maintain it. And I've lost
fifty seven pounds myself and I've maintained it, honestly very
much so menopause long time ago. I'm going to be,
you know, out of my double Nichols pretty soon. I
don't say it anymore, art, and I know you're going to
be so happy about that this year. So today we're
talking about something that affects millions of people, whether you're
(13:39):
on the GLP medication, thinking about one, transitioning off of one,
or simply trying to take control of your health naturally,
meaning through nutrition, because the goal isn't just losing weight.
The goal is learning how to live right, learning how
to live without medication, learning how to live without something
(14:00):
suppressing your appetite and not getting your nutrients in and
losing your muscle mass and not looking so good in
your skin and in your clothes. If the goal is
to learning how to live without hopefully most medications, and
without constantly feeling like you need something to quiet noise
and suppress the appetite, today more people than ever are
(14:23):
turning to the GLP one medications for weight loss. I
know that because I have more doctors referring their patients
to me, they'd be begging their patients to put nutrition
with it so they can look good and feel good
and be able to keep it off. These medications can
be incredibly effective at reducing appetite and helping people lose weight. However,
(14:44):
what many patients don't realize is the losing weight and
keeping it off are often two very different challenges. The
medication can help quiet food noise, but it does not
automatically teach someone how to nourish their body, build confidence,
manage stress, create healthy habits, or repair their relationship with food.
(15:05):
And this is where psychology a weight loss in weight
management comes into place. This is where my master's in
there comes into place. This is where my degree in
food science comes into place. That's where psychology and one
on one counseling become critical. What patients may not realize
is weight loss does not automatically create happiness. Honestly it
(15:28):
does not. Okay, it does make us feel better, for sure.
I know losing fifty seven pounds how it made me feel.
But weight loss does not create happiness or health. It
does not, specially health, it does not. Many people believe
that once they reach a certain weight, all their problems
will disappear. They expect more confidence, better relationships, and greater
(15:51):
self esteem. What they often discover is that there are
still the same person emotionally. The weight may change, but
the thoughts, insecurities, and habits can remain unless they are addressed.
The medication reduces hunger but doesn't teach nutrition. Many patients
are eating less but not necessarily eating better. Without understanding
(16:16):
protein intake, nutrient density, muscle preservation, meal timing, hydration, and metabolism,
they can lose muscle along with body fat. And it's
so important nutrient density, density, food and then keeping your muscle.
These are also so important. Muscle is the key to
(16:37):
long term success in many different ways that you cannot
even imagine. Okay, muscle is the key. Muscle is what
holds your skin together. Muscle is what the saggy skin
will not be there. Muscle is your metabolism, is your
strength down the road, to be able to pick up
your grandchildren, to be able to pick up of a
(16:57):
case of something, to be able to not break something very,
very easily. Your muscle is absolutely crucial my patients. My
clients focus only on the scale. Okay, that's what doctors
tell me. They're like, they're only focus on the scale. Well,
that's not the way to do it. The scale does
not tell the difference between fat loss and muscle loss.
(17:19):
Maintaining muscle is one of the most important factors for
keeping metabolism strong and preventing future weight regain. The medication
does not we're talking about the GLP ones does not
teach emotional coping skills. It doesn't. It absolutely does not
teach that many individuals have used food for years to
(17:40):
manage stress, anxiety, boredom, loneliness, celebrations, or even frustration. When
appetite is reduced, those emotions don't disappear just because the
GLP ones are pushing your appetite down and taking the
food noise away it. You know, your emotions don't They're
(18:00):
still there except some medications helping you to not deal
with them, and patients often need new tools to manage
life's challenges without relying on food. And then weight loss
can create unexpected emotional changes. It really does. I mean,
I know when I lost my weight, what I went through,
(18:21):
and even trying to maintain it. Obviously, what I go through,
there is some unexpected emotional changes. You know, you may
experience fear of regaining weight. Obviously that's everybody's fear. Increase,
pressure from others, changes in relationships, whether it be significant
other or friends, body image struggles despite losing weight. Anxiety
(18:44):
about stopping the medication. That's a big one. As long
as we feel like we can go on microdosing or
maintenance aspect of it. It's like that anxiety of you
ever wanting to stop it, right, And that is some
thing that I think is extremely You're bound by it,
(19:04):
You're going to be bound by it for life, and
wondering well am I ever going to be able to
stop this medication. These are real psychological challenges that deserve support.
Many patients don't have an exit plan. How am I
going to stop this? How can I finally not be
doing this? One of the biggest question is what happens
if I stop the medication? Well, every doctor will tell
(19:27):
you the right one. Everyone tells me that when they're
refer to their patients to me. Without lifestyle changes, behavioral coaching,
nutrition education, and accountability, many people regain weight because they
never learned the skills necessary to maintain their success. Behavior coaching,
nutrition education, accountability. You have. Those things has to happen
(19:53):
for you to be able to naturally and healthy health wise,
be able to you keep your weight off. Even if
you decide to do the maintenance aspect of the shots,
your body still needs nutrients, your habit still needs to change,
and you still need to have accountability to be able
to do the right thing constantly. Before then it turns
(20:16):
into a habit okay, And that's where the one on
one counseling comes into place to give you the accountability,
to give you the education, and for you to get
out of your own head. Right. So, me running a
trim line or owning trim line for almost two decades
wasn't just okay somebody weight loss, losing weight, I literally
(20:36):
have a master's degree in psychology of weight loss in
weight management. So this part of the program is further.
It's the the side of a pseudo concierge aspect of
counseling for you to really learn about your nutrition, especially
if you're on the GLP shots or any shots that
(20:56):
you're on, to be able to really take care of
your bad not just physically but also mentally. And your
thirty minute consult is free. Just go to my trim
line dot com. You can do a fifteen minute chat
or a thirty minute consult that we can see each
other virtually or one on one in person and I
can review everything in detail with you. Go to my
(21:17):
trimline dot com and book that free consult or chat.
I'm gonna take a break and I'll be right back.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Welcome back. This is the my trim Line Radio Show
with Nadia here on NewsRadio WHB five eighty.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Hello and welcome back, and thank you so much for listening,
and if you're tuning in, I appreciate it. We've been
talking about obviously Father's Day. I hope all the fathers
out there, for Daddy's grandparents, uncles, brothers, I hope you
have a wonderful celebration and you are shown that you're
loved and that we care about you and we love
(21:53):
that everything that you do for us, you men out there,
And of course I cannot wait to celebrate my own father.
He is the most amazing man in the world. And
I'm gonna hopefully go out to a pseudo like a
later lunch kind of deal, get him out of the house.
He moves very slow. You know, he's ninety two, so
(22:14):
you know, but I cannot wait to see him and
give him a big hug. So wishing every every father,
every for baby father, everybody out there, a wonderful, wonderful
Father's Day, and I pray for many many more to
celebrate years ahead. And you know, today we're talking about
the transition of trimline to concier counseling with myself. You know,
(22:40):
I have a degree in master's in psychology of weight
loss and weight management and a degree in food science.
So this aspect of Trimline is deeper, and it's really
created because in the past year especially, I've had so
many you know, doctors that refer to patients MEDSPA places
that along with the shots that have helped people obviously
(23:03):
lose weight, but really the transitioning off of them and
for it to be become more of a lifestyle change
and hopefully to come off the medication is really something
that most people want. You don't want to be on
a medication for the rest of your life, and there's
definitely the side effects are unfortunately showing their you know,
face more than anything. And counseling really helps for many things, right,
(23:28):
we know that, But counseling when it comes to the
power of food, you know, is tremendous. And with the
GLP ones, they're you know, making that food noise go away,
but your nutrients that you're not giving to your body,
and the lack of eating is really a problem. People
are breaking bones more, they're falling more, they are their
(23:51):
strength is barely there. So it's extremely important that you
put your nutrition with them. So whether you are on
the GLP one medication, thinking about one, or transitioning you
want to be off of it, you're actually doing things naturally.
The power of one on one counseling is absolutely crucial.
It absolutely helps you, any patient, any client, understand why
(24:14):
they eat, improve your relationship with food, build sustainable habits,
things that you can do for the rest of your life.
Increase confidence because you don't have to rely on a pill,
a medication, a shot for the rest of your life.
Manage stress, maintain muscle while losing fat. Learn nutrition, nutrition skills.
(24:38):
It is a skill. It's absolutely changing and behavior and
changing your habit and you can totally learn nutrition about
your own body and give it nutrients that's going to
help you to have more energy, to for your skin
to look like glowing, for you to manage the hair,
I mean hair loss, my goodness, you name it. Nutrition
(24:58):
helps with everything and of course your muscle, and create
a long term maintenance plan for you to really be
confident that not only hey, I lost the weight, but
I'm going to have tools to be able to have
long term maintenance that you can keep it off. The
goal is not simply weight loss. The goal is becoming
(25:20):
the type of person who can maintain a healthy lifestyle
for years. Okay, There's like people that because of the
lot of dogs for their patients to me and like
let's say they weren't coming to trimline first, they went
to a doctor, wanted the shot, the GLP whichever one
that's out there, or the metspas, whatever. But some of
(25:41):
their questions is just really interesting. Like I had one
that said, if the shot is working, why do I
need counseling? Right? Well, the medication helps control appetite. Counseling
helps change behaviors, your habits, your thinking patterns, and lifestyle
choices that determine long term success. Right, So, yeah, the
(26:03):
shots are helping you. Why do you need counseling? That
was a great question when she asked me that. And
the reason being is because the medication, all it does
is control your appetite. You're counseling with. The counsel is
going to help you to change your behavior, change your habit,
your thinking pattern, but more so, also make sure that
your body's getting the right nutrient that you need. That's crucial.
(26:25):
I add another one tell me that she's lost forty pounds,
Why am I still not fully happy? Okay, Well, weight
loss changes your body, but it doesn't automatically change self esteem, relationships,
stress levels, or emotional health. Those areas often require personal
(26:45):
growth and support and that's really what I love doing
with my degree and the one on one counseling, you know,
so for you to grow, those are the areas to grow,
to really think about your self esteem. You're reallyationships with
yourself with others, whether it be your children, grandchildren's spouses, anybody,
(27:06):
stress levels, or even your emotional health. And that those
are the areas that we really work on for personal
growth and support. And that's where the one on one
counseling is so crucial. The other one said, can I
regain the weight after stopping the medication? Honestly, this is
something that even doctors will tell you the right ones
anyways that if you do not, you know, do it
(27:30):
the right way you're going to gain the weight back.
And the right way is learning nutrition. Okay, So once
you stop a medication, the medication is not fixing the problem. Okay,
the medication is just suppressing your appetite. Yes, Studies over
and over have shown that many people regain weight after
stopping the shot if they haven't developed sustainable nutrition and
(27:54):
lifestyle habits. And they're like, well, what is the biggest
mistake most patients make focusing only on the scale and
not on building muscle, improving nutrition, managing stress, and creating
long term habits. You can't just focus on the scale,
as I said before earlier, scale does not show you
(28:16):
how much muscle you have. Okay, scale shows you loss
weight loss. That means it can be fat, it could
be muscle. And if you lost it very quickly and
your skin doesn't look so great, it's been muscle mainly,
and that's why you see that loss. And when you
lose your muscle mass, that is the worst thing you
can possibly do for your body. You absolutely will have
(28:38):
zero strength, your bones will become brittle, and you will
gain the weight back, and then you're going to gain
it back in a much faster way. So also question
is why do I still think about food even though
I'm eating less? Food isn't always about physical hunger. Sometimes
it's emotional hunger, habit, routine, comfort, boredom, or stress. So
(29:04):
even though a lot of people that are on the
shots or let's say they're considerably eating less, honestly, food
is sometimes about hunger, but it's really more about that
emotional hunger, that habit that we've created, especially in the
evening and after dinner. Right the evening is always the
toughest time for dinners, and after dinner snacking is always
(29:28):
the toughest time for most people to be able to do,
and everybody's like, I listened to you and you always
talk about it. Protein. Why is protein so important? Protein's
essential for preserving muscle during weight loss. Maintaining muscle helps
support metabolism and improves long term weight management. And that
(29:48):
is the key. You know how much protein you need,
how much carbohydrates you need, how much complex sugars or
simple sugars you need. All of that is done for you.
And then it's on one on one counseling with someone
that is a master's degree in psychology or weight loss
might management that will absolutely put a program, a blueprint
of a program together for you with anything you want.
(30:10):
So whether you are on the shot, you want to
come off the shot, you're thinking about it, or just nutrition,
we can put that in. And also the addition to
it that you can even add is you can do
one on one personal training, whether it be in your
home or even at a gym. So those are things
that I'm totally making the program and the elite side
(30:33):
of it to a concier side of it for you
to be able to absolutely one hundred percent control everything
with or without the GLP one shots, the weight loss shots. Okay,
so it's very doable because the weight loss industry honestly
forgot the brain. Okay, most people know what foods are healthy.
(30:53):
The challenge isn't knowledge. The challenge is behavior. If I
had like a penny for most people will tell me, oh,
I know what to do, I just don't do it right.
But now the shots are you know what to do,
you don't even do it because as your suppresses your
appetite that you're not going to even eat anything. So
(31:14):
basically you're putting such little amount of nutrients into your body.
So the challenge isn't knowledge, The challenge is behavior. So
why do we eat when we're stressed? Right? Why do
we sabotage ourselves after a great week? Why do we
celebrate with food, comfort ourselves with food, and reward ourselves
with food? Because eating behaviors are learned. I always say this,
(31:38):
it's a learned behavior. The brain creates patterns, the body follows.
That's all it is. Your brain creates patterns, your body follows.
If we never address the psychology behind our choices, we
spend our lives starting over every Monday, or starting over
with like, okay, I got the shot and suppressing my appetite.
(32:00):
Don't have to worry about it, right, But the nutrients
in our body, the psychology behind it has never been addressed.
At trend Line, I teach people that sustainable weight management
begins between the ears. It's what's between your ears in
your brain before it ever shows up on the scale. Okay,
(32:20):
that's exactly what it is. So the whole weight loss
industry forgets the brain because now what they've done. They
created a shot that's going to help you to really
in your brain, suppress your appetite and kill the noise.
But what it does to your body, to your mind,
to your muscle, to everything in your whole being. The
(32:41):
damage is so great that people take the shot and
they put every issue under the rug and they feel like, well,
this is working, this is happy, and is it really
and are you able to stop the shot and be
able to maintain your weight? And if the answer is no,
you really have to really say yourself, boy, what am
I doing? And that's why I created the aspect of
(33:04):
the concert counseling. With my master's degree in psychology of
weight loss and with management and food science. All you
have to do it's a fifteen minute chat. I'm giving
you a thirty minute consult free to become give you
a blueprint for your need. Everything's done one on one
and personally go to mytrimline dot com and book that
(33:26):
free chat or consult. I'm gonna take a break and
I'll be right back.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
Let's get back to the My trim Line Radio show
with Nadia on NewsRadio DOUBLHB five eighty.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
Hello and welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.
I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday and celebrating any
great man in your life that is obviously, whether it
be your father, grandfather, brother, uncle, you name it. I'lle
you're having a wonderful Father's Day. All the love to
all the wonderful parents out there, or even for Daddy recently.
(34:01):
So I cannot wait to celebrate my dad. He is
the most amazing person in the world. So give a
lot of love and hope that you can celebrate this
year after year after year for sure. And we're talking
about obviously. And I'm the owner of Trimline. I have
a master's degree in psychology at weight loss went Management.
I've created a part of Trimline. I've owned Trimline for
(34:23):
almost two decades. But this is a part of concert
counseling to really dive in deep with the psychology of
the weight loss when it comes specially to the GLP
ones and the medications to eventually hopefully come off of it,
or you don't even want to do it, or you
think about doing it, or you're on it right. So
this is all about getting that momentum of being able
(34:46):
to hopefully eventually come off of it, or if you
never want to do it, to do it even the
right way. And you know, the truth about the GLP
medications is that they have helped many people lose weight.
But medications don't teach nutrition. They don't teach grocery shopping,
they don't teach meal planning, they don't teach emotional eating,
they don't teach what happens when the medication stops. Many
(35:10):
people are shocked when they discover that food noise returns
because the underlying habits were never addressed. They're saying that
if you stop them, even if you go on like
a maintenance of the microdosing of the medication, probably over
seventy percent of people gain it back. But the other
issue is close to ninety percent of people have damaged
(35:30):
their body. Even if you lost the weight, you lost
the weight you look good on your clothes, or your
stomach is gone, or your diabetes gone, or your blood
pressure is lower, it has damaged your body, your muscle mass.
You can't help that. Honestly, when your muscle mass is gone,
you are in big, big trouble. So many people are
shocked that, Okay, well why don't I still look good
(35:52):
as as I wanted to? I knew I was going
to lose the weight, and medication can lower your appetite.
It cannot create life long skills and for your body
to be able to do it in a healthy way.
The most successful individuals use the medication as a tool
while simultaneously learning nutrition, metabolism, boosting, portion awareness, muscle generation,
(36:17):
and preserving your muscle and healthy habits. The question isn't
how much weight can I lose? The better question is
what skills am I building while I am losing it?
That is the most important question. What skills am I
learning while I'm losing it? And if I've lost my
(36:38):
weight already and I'm microdosing, I'm thinking about coming off,
what skills do I need to start learning and building?
So I don't gain my weight back. Those are the
crucial questions, and what happens after age fifty. After fifty,
the conversation changes. We're not just trying to fit into
smaller pair of genes even after forty. Honestly, we're deciding
(37:00):
how we want to live the next twenty thirty four
years years of our life. If God given, we're going
to live to our eighties. Right, So it's not about hey,
these paragenes or how much smaller size that can get.
It's really about, hey, how do I want to live
the next twenty thirty forty years? Do you want more energy?
Do you want more mobility? Do you want to travel,
(37:23):
play with grandchildren, remain independent, avoid preventable diseases. Retirement isn't
just a financial plan, it's a health plan. If you
truly look at your retirement more of a health plan,
you will have a better quality of life than you
could ever imagine. The greatest gift we can give ourselves
is strength, your muscle, mobility, cognitive function, and metabolic health.
(37:53):
Those are the greatest gift you can give yourself. Yeah,
you took a shot, you lost the weight, great, Okay,
you did it fine with a shot, but honestly, your mobility,
your strength, your cognitive function, your brain you know, Alzheimer's, dementia,
and metabolic health. For you to be able to feel
young even when you're sixty, seventy, or eighty. Those are
(38:15):
the most greatest gifts that you can give yourself. The
decisions we make today determine the quality of our future,
and that is huge. That is what I am all about,
is the quality of our life in the future. We're
all going to die. I know that's morbid, I say
it all the time. But how we're going to get
(38:36):
there are two different roads, two different paths. So you
got to take the healthy path. You got to take
the path because at the end, we all know what's
going to happen. It's just how you want to look,
how you want to live it, how you want to retire,
How do you want to live the next to twenty
thirty forty years of your life. The four pillars of
long term success are very important. The people who maintain
(38:57):
their weight long term usually met for four things. It healthy.
We're talking healthy. You don't want to look you know,
squawny or skinny, fat people like we say it or
whatever is coming out there is mindset. Mindset is one
pillar understanding triggers and learned behaviors. Nutrition, knowing how to
nourish the body without extreme extreme not eating all day
(39:21):
and then eating your dinner, and after dinner knacking or overeating.
Nutrition is so important. Muscle preserving and building muscle. As
we age that we lose muscle more than anything in
the world. As we age our collagen, That's why we
get wrinkly, That's why we get saggy. Our muscle is
the most crucial thing as we age. Accountability, having guidance,
(39:45):
support in a plan that is important. Guidance, support and plant.
And that's exactly what I'm going to be providing with
the elite style of trim Line, with the concier counseling
with the master's degree in psychologyal weight loss and weight management.
And notice what isn't on the list perfection. Nobody succeeds
(40:05):
through perfection. People succeed through consistency, being consistent. You know,
consistency is everything. That's where you see a long term success.
And questions people ask me, you know every day, can
can I be able to eventually come off the medication?
Can I do it? Yes? Many people are successfully transitioning,
(40:28):
but it should be done thoughtfully and with a plan.
I cannot tell you how many clients I have now
that are on the shot. They're not only losing weight,
but they look amazing and they're building a great relationship
with food. That is the way to do it. The
smartest way you could do it is why you're on
the shot. You are building habits, having a game plan
(40:51):
of doing it the right way. Okay, that is the strongest,
most smartest thing you can possibly do, even if you're
doing a shot, to put again plan together with it.
And why do I know what to do but still
don't do it right? So even to people that are
on the shots, they still have urges, and especially at
parties or after dinner in the evening. Because knowledge alone
(41:14):
doesn't change behavior. Psychology does. That's exactly what psychology does.
That's exactly what I do, and I live it. So
I'm not one that teaches it and doesn't apply it.
I have lived it. I have kept my weight off
for I don't know. I want to say at least
thirty years. Of twenty five years, I should say, okay,
and I've lost even more weight in the last three years.
(41:37):
I'm getting even better at it. The older I'm getting.
I'm menapuzzle. I'm a fifty five year old woman. So
it is all in your head and psychology will help that.
And you have to eat your favorite foods. You know
you have to. You absolutely should not give up any
of your favorite foods. It needs to be there. A
healthy lifestyle should fit your life, not become your life.
(42:02):
And if your life has become doing shots and suppersing
your appetite and that's the only way you can maintain
your weight or lose a weight, you have to ask yourself,
is that the way that it really should be? And
there's concier counseling versus dieting. Most programs focus on what
to eat. I focus on why you eat. My approach
(42:23):
is highly personalized, one on one concier. You are counseling,
no cookie cutter plans, no judgment, no quick fixes, just education, accountability, motivation,
and practical plans that fit your real life, because every
person has a different story and every successful plan should
(42:43):
reflect that. And that's exactly what I do. At some point,
weight loss stops being about the scale. It becomes about freedom,
freedom from confusion, freedom from food guilt, freedom from dependency,
freedom to live your life with common cofidence and energy,
and that is exactly what I'm doing with the concert
or counseling. Go to my trim line dot com. You
(43:06):
can do a fifteen minute chat and after the fifteen minute,
we can set up a free thirty minute counseling sessions,
a consult that I can thoroughly go through everything with you.
It's free. No, no, nothing other that you need to do.
Just to book that free chat, go to my trim
line dot com and hopefully we'll talk soon. Happy Father's Day.
