Now with today's show, here's Nadia.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Hello everyone, and happy Sunday to you. I hope you're
having a wonderful weekend, and you know, the weather has
been cooperating so there's no storms. Thank goodness that we
had a bunch of times in a row in the
past month, month and a half. As always, I really
appreciate you listening and I really hope you do learn something.
And again, this isn't about you joining Trimline or calling me.
(00:44):
It's really to be educated, to feel motivated to make
even one tiny little change. And you know, I do
obviously have a very special guest today because our views
are really pretty much alike and I enjoy that. And
he definitely has more knowledge on certain and obviously I
have more knowledge on nutrition. But thank you, thank you
so much, Coach Brex for being here today. I appreciate it.
(01:05):
Please say hello to everyone.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Hey, how's everybody doing. First of all, Nadia, thank you
so much for having me. And I'm always blessed to
be on here, so thank.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
You so much.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Well, thank you, And I appreciate it because I love
our conversations. It makes the show considerably more fun than
me just talking to myself. You know, that's that's always
gets boring, and we're probably bored to crap out of
art over there, right, You're like, oh gosh, okay, here
she goes the whole time again. But so I'm very
very grateful. And you know, we you and I talk
on the breaks. We talk about you know, even out
(01:34):
when we see each other somewhere. But you know, I
was telling you about how you know, I watch reels
and you know I've been lifting weights, and we talked
about that because you're definitely more knowledgeable in that than
I think than I am. And I don't want to
hurt myself.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
I was a personal trainer before I opened up my business.
That was like eighteen years ago. So I haven't done
personal training for eighteen years, right, And it's crazy how
time goes by. But but I still like look at
reels and look things up. And I was telling you
that over time, I feel like I'm getting stronger. But
the days that you work out how many days in
a row? And then then we started talking about sunshine.
(02:09):
So I was doing some research saw a real which
was very interesting that five things that are really really
important in a person's life, right, and you and I
will talk about that, And which is one of them
is I think pretty controversial in the sense of the sun.
So it's obviously it's some you know, the sun itself,
so some air, nutrition, exercise, and sleep.
Speaker 5 (02:33):
Okay, so those are like.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
The really five things, and I really feel like they're
kind of important five because if you look at your hand,
you have five fingers, right, so let's say if the
palm are your hand, that's you, you as the person.
Those are five things that are really affecting you and
really helps you to kind of, you know, be more
well rounded.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
Right.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
So the first one you and I talked about was sunshine.
And I'm a huge I love the sun, I absolutely do.
But people really worry about getting cancer melanoma when it
comes to the sun. But you said that's not true.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
I think we, you know, really demonize the sun, and
it's been demonized way too much when it's really the
object of why we go outside. Let's be honest, Well,
in those cloudy days, people are always slower to get moving.
Rainy days, people are slower to get moving. When sunny out,
even if it's cold out, they're more willing to get up,
move a little bit and going and stuff like that too.
And I think that's one of the reasons that I
(03:28):
think I'm always fascinated by how many people, Oh, you
can't go out, you have to put all this stuff
on you to block the sun. But yet if you
look at it, the majority of us are vitamin D deficient.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Where do we get our vitamin D from the sun?
The sun?
Speaker 3 (03:42):
The primary sources are sun. So if we're blocking that,
no wonder all of us are sick. And why would
I want to lather myself in sunscreen which is chemical
after chemical after chemical. And now they're coming out and
I don't have seen it. It's been out for about
a year or two. So many sunscreens are getting pulled
because they are no that chemicals in them. We get
these people are getting cancer and they're blaming it on
(04:03):
the sun. It's not the sun. It's what we're doing
to our bodies. So if you look at the rate
of skin cancer, skin cancer really took off from the seventies.
Now everybody says because we diagnose it, then everybody always
blames it on the diagnos it's all of a sudden
because now we have better detection. But when did skin
When did sunscreen come out in the seventies, So we
started lathering ourselves because we were told the sun is
(04:25):
bad for us, which I don't know why anybody would
say that. Like I said at Vitamin D, how to
be an agenda somewhere, And then we all of a
sudden start getting all the skin cancer. But then also
what came out around that time too, seed oils. So
our bodies. Everything we were eating was seed oil, where
once was you know, lard, butter, natural stuff, tallow great stuff,
fors coconut oil, stuff that we should be taking. And
(04:46):
then we started using the seed oil, like the vegetable oil,
the cotton seed, the grape seed, all the crap that
we shouldn't be using start getting in there. Well, that
mixes with your body when the sun hits that, it
causes problems, It causes chemical reactions in the body and
then all of a sudden we start kating cancer. So
kids asked me, well, you don't put sunscreen on?
Speaker 4 (05:02):
Why not?
Speaker 3 (05:02):
And I said, well, here's what I do. I don't
think being out in the sun and getting burned is
the smartest.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Thing in the world.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
Yeah, I think that's dumb fact.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
But I'm out in the sun for a while, and
then what I do is I layer. Then I'll put,
you know, a sweatshirt on, or maybe a long sleeve shirt.
I'll wear a hat, you know what. I mean, to
block the sun where I don't want anymore. And they're like, ooh,
I never thought of that. I just do sunscreen on.
I'm like, yes, that's the difference, because I want to
make sure that my body's still natural and I'm not
putting this stuff on, so I'll just put on longer clothes.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
Yes, it is hot, I agree with you, Yes, it's
sometimes you.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Can't tell let to a men apausal woman to be like,
go put a sweatshirt on and go in the heat.
You know, I'll come back and like half my body
weight would be sweat out right, and then I'll ban
it again the next day.
Speaker 5 (05:40):
But it's not fun. My clothes will not look good.
Let me tell you that.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Okay, yes, but I just do it differently, and over
all those years, I see massive difference in how I feel.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
There's even studies coming out to talking about people with
the eyesight.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
If you go out for the first I think it's
forty five minutes and you would look directly into the
sun at that time, because that is the best sunlight
first forty five minutes in the last forty five minutes
of the day are the healthiest part of the sun.
We all talk about certain rays and stuff like that,
how harmful they are, like blue lights and things like that. Exactly,
the bread lights are the one there. That's the one
that is being admitted in those early and later times
(06:17):
which are very very healing and very healthy for us.
So most of the people when they go out, if
you go outside and you stand in the sun or
walk around and do something in the sun at that time,
you'll tend to have more energy, you'll tend to feel
better because that's the time when the sun is actually
doing its job, is healing you, and it's not going
to burn you because it's not.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
At the high peak yet.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
So I think we got to start taking a different
approach to the sunlight because it is actually very beneficial.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
You got to be smart with it. I'm not saying
just go out there.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
They not protect yourself.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
But to throw sunscreen on like people do is just
it just blows my mind. You have to read what's
in it. Now you were talking about I think you
put a natural one.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
I do.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
There are natural ones which I think are great. They
yes they are, But what's more expensive?
Speaker 2 (07:02):
I'm saying, but I don't think it's necessary to make
it that expensive. But I think they just do it
because I truly believe they don't want us to be healthy.
I'm telling you, like when I go out to eat,
if I order a salad, it's more expensive than me
getting a burger fries. And you know, my salad, which
should not be more expensive than a burger and fries,
(07:23):
is more more expensive. And it was like, wellhy should
I pay you know, fifteen twenty dollars for a salad
when I can pay. I mean, some of salads right
now are twenty twenty five dollars.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
It's crazy right now how much they're charging for a salads.
And then let's say you're a burger with the fries
and all that is like say eighteen or twenty you know,
so I get what it is and it is more expensive,
but you know I but I'm like, you know what,
I want something a little bit more natural and complexed, right, So,
and we talked about the natural ones make you really
(07:54):
nice and white and pasty.
Speaker 5 (07:55):
So it looks really on you.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
It blocks that you want, but it's not giving you
a harmful chemicals. And that's what people have to start realizing.
When you put that on your kids, you are putting
chemicals on. That is what you're doing.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
Now.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
You could say, hey, I'm helping my kid in the future,
but are you If kids are still getting cancer and
kids are still getting this and we're still getting it,
and people who put suntan loson all the time, then
there should be some guarantee by these sunscreen people like, hey,
you'll never get cancer if you.
Speaker 4 (08:22):
Wear my product all the time. But they don't.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
They don't ever guarantee because they know that you're still
going to probably get it because of being in the
sun and being the sun you know, going off you know,
chemicals things. With all the chemicals that are in these sunscreens.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Now a lot of the fact that you said the
first forty five the last forty five, because you know,
this morning I did. I ended up just sitting out
and having my coffee, you know, in the sun, because
I do want to get a little bit more sun.
And obviously everybody wants to get tann but mine's more
like I'm naturally a little tan to begin with. But
I really do know and understand the importance of sun, right,
(08:59):
And like you said, I'm not saying, well, I'm not
saying the same thing, and I might go be in
it for four or five hours because I have done
that too, and believe it or not, when you were
in the sun that long, it actually makes you tired, right,
It makes you tired and you get a little headache,
you know, because the sun's a really beaming down on
you for four or five hours.
Speaker 5 (09:16):
So it does.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
There's always a limit, right, there's always, like you know,
doing things in moderation. So being in it for forty
five minutes, half an hour, twenty minutes, even in the morning,
I think it's fantastic for the body and for you
to be able to be healthy. I mean, I was
telling you the story, and I don't know the details
of it.
Speaker 5 (09:33):
I did save the real I'll send it. I total,
I'm going to send it to you.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
But they were talking about this kid like fIF fourteen
years old that they get. They gave him like he
had some sort of blood disorder, that he was dying,
and they gave him two days to live, and they
put his bed out in the sun and totally in
the sun. And you know, they were basically his dying
wish was I want to be out in the sun.
And they said by the second day into the third day,
(09:56):
all his hemoglobe and whatever diagnosis was was getting better
and they didn't change anything other than him being in
the sun.
Speaker 5 (10:04):
Which to me, that is absolutely.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Absolutely incredible, Like we have something so natural we don't
have to pay for, we don't have to do whatever.
We just need to take time, which I know people
just don't get it. They don't They're like, no, I
don't have time in the morning to go sit out
for fifteen minutes.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
Yes you do.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
You do have time in the morning to go out
and say get up a little bit earlier, or take
some time, or drink your coffee out there, or do something,
and then that fifteen minutes will change your entire life.
So the sun is really important. And we're gonna come
back and we're going to talk about other stuff. Because
even if you're kind of like, oh, my son, I've
heard of that that gives you cancer, we're telling you
(10:41):
that is not the case. Okay, So you definitely can
get more information go to my trimline dot com Book
of free chat. Whether you want to lose weight, come
off the GLP one, transition off of a nutrition, and
I want to really get down to core fixing issues
in pain and joints. You've got to reach out to
coach brex so chat. Can they get in touch with you.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
You can reach out to me, Dave d a v
at e as An, Edward x as An x ray
ss and Sampas and Paul dove Biz or David exsp
dow Biz.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
Excellent. We're going to take a break and we'll be
right back.
Speaker 6 (11:14):
Now back to the my trim Line Radio Show with
Nadia here on US radio w HV five eighty.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Hello and welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.
If you're just tuning in, we are talking about five
most important things that are really great for your life
if you make tiny little changes, right, So if you
look at your hand, so if you ever look at
your palm of your hand, right, so you look at
your hand and have five fingers hopefully right. So one
is we just talked about on the first of was
(11:41):
sun okay, which I know it's a little controversial and
people out there maybe thinking we're crazy. Two is definitely
air your exercise movement in general. You know, you can
just call it just movement, sleep for sure, and nutrition. Okay,
So we are breaking this down and talking about it,
and you know, I think we sit on the break
you said pretty much people are not going to kind
(12:03):
of change their mind on the sun that the sun
doesn't really cause cancer. That's what we talked about on
the first segment.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Right, Yeah, the amount of sun that you get, so
if you have too much time that you it cannot
be good. Yes, I can understand where you can get
some problems, but you also have to see what it's
mixing with. So the seed oils we talked about and
are chemicals that we put on our body, not just
the sunscreen, which is part of it, which is the
main part of it, but also some of the stuff
that women put on even guys put on some of those.
You have to look at what's in there, how is
(12:29):
it interacting with the sun, And then we blame it
on the sun, but is it really the sun or
is it the chemicals that we continue.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
To put on our bodies because it is a natural
thing and body does need vitamin D and I know
everybody we should be taking invitemin D supplement D three
with K two. That's fine because maybe a lot of
us work indoors or we don't get to go outside,
So that supplement is absolutely one of the most important
problems you can take. Definitely get a good quality one
because there's some that are not good out there either.
(12:56):
So do your research, okay, And if you're like, oh no, no,
I get mixed reviews. And the more I google the
you know, the more confused I get. You can reach
out to Coach Bracks. You can reach out to me
and we'll help you with those things. You know, we
really are here to help you. We're not here to
be like, hey, come, you know, go to Coach Bres
for joint issues and working out and you know great
(13:18):
exercises or classes that your wife does or you know,
come to me. Even nutrition to lose weight or come
off the shots or whatever.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
I mean.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
We we absolutely would love for you to be particulate
in our business. But we really love what we do,
so we'll help you. We'll you know, you can reach
out to us, email us, text us whatever. I'm willing
to really help you in any way possible. So definitely
get some sun. And like Coach said, the first forty
five minutes, in the last forty five minutes, you know,
so when you get off from work now that the
sun is light out on still till eight o'clock, I mean,
(13:49):
take a little bit of time. And you don't, I know,
everybody's life is busy, but fifteen minutes maybe in the
morning or fifteen minutes maybe in the evening, get a
little bit of sun and really be able to you're
going to see the huge difference of how good you're
going to feel. And we talked about on the break.
We were talking talking about seed oil, which is really bad,
but like you said, because I love avocados, I really
(14:11):
love avocados. And we were talking about like watermelon and
grapes and all of that, and we talk about how
things are man made, and I actually was talking about
a real I saw which old time it's a brand
of bread, okay, And they take the piece of bread
and they put it underwater and they squeeze it and
it doesn't fall apart, and then then keeps it underwater
(14:33):
and they squeeze it and it bounces back. So basically
it looks and feels like a sponge. Okay, like it
never crumbles, which I'm going to do that myself and
kind of see because the real showed somebody else did it,
and this guy's like, oh, I'm going to do it,
and the same thing happened, right. But you also were
talking about seedless stuff, which is kind of interesting.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
I'm always fascinated by when people wanted the seedless stuff
of everything because they don't want to be i don't know,
put out by the seeds of a grape or a watermelon.
I'm like, well, then it's not real. How can you
have a seedless grape and call it real or a
watermelon when it doesn't have seeds. How's it grow? It's
got to be genetically modified, and every time we genetically
modify something, we change the structure of it, and it's
(15:15):
probably not good for our bodies, no matter what anybody says. Yes,
grapes should be good, watermelon should be good. But they're
not natural, then they're probably not good because there's some
type of chemical, some kind of thing that's going to
counteract our bodies. Our bodies are a natural thing created
by God, and we have to go back to that
timeframe of how we were created. We keep trying to
modify it to say we know better, when actually we
(15:37):
probably know worse. We're actually doing everything backwards, in my opinion,
in most things, and that's why you're seeing so many
chronic diseases. If we just got back to a natural lifestyle,
people got back to that natural thing that I call
earthstrong all the time and I'm always preaching it, then
I think we'd have a lot healthier society. Get outside
with the sun like you talk to it. Get the
proper sleep air. I understand that you can't control the
air around you. They spray the air, they do everything possible.
(16:00):
It's horrible, and I really feel bad that we can't
do better. But get outside where you can get away
to nature where the trees are up in the mountains,
you know what I mean, Go on a hike, go
those things, so there are things you can do. And
I know you said it earlier. I don't have the time.
You're going to have the time when you're sick and
laying in bed or in the hospital. You will have
plenty of time then, So you have to start making decisions.
(16:21):
Now you have to sacrifice. Nobody wants to sacrifice now.
It's a big problem in our society. But we need
to sacrifice so we can have a live a better
lifestyle later on.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Yeah, and what are we really sacrificing? I think sometimes
it will feel like sacrifice when you start it, but
then it becomes a necessity and something that makes you
feel amazing. So you're going from sacrifice to Okay, wow,
this feels good. I feel amazing, And it's not a
sacrifice anymore. You're actually doing it to you better yourself,
what it be mentally or physically.
Speaker 5 (16:52):
And I don't I think.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Anything that's going to help you in any shape or form,
whether it be tiny or big, it shouldn't be considered
to be a sacrifice. You're not sacrificing to help yourself, right.
And I know that sacrifice is such a great word
for moms for sure. My mom used to say I
sacrificed the ABC and D for you. You know, you
know how they like to guild you big time. And
(17:17):
I don't think as as me growing up, I'd never
asked her to do that. Number one and number two's
that's a huge guilt on a child, especially when your
mom's not healthy. Then they grow older and they're not
healthy and they're in and out a hospital, and the
conversation has been whatever they sacrificed to take care of you.
So the key is whether your mother or a father
or whatever caregiver, you need to make sure that you
(17:40):
don't sacrifice yourself to then down the road. Honestly, they're
gonna to take care of you anyways, right or you're
just gonna be really miserable. So I don't think of
it as a sacrifice. Like you getting up fifteen minutes
earlier should not in your mind to be a sacrifice
that you're going to go sit outside, get some son,
you know, be in nature or whatever you decide to do.
(18:01):
I think the way we're looking at it is the
wrong way. It's actually you're really trying to heal yourself
and you know, put your mind a little bit like
give it, give yourself a break mentally. You know, people
get up first thing in the morning. And I'm and
I'll be the first to say it. I mean, when
I get up in the morning, I grab my phone.
That's the first thing I do. I'll admit it. And
I'm like, I really need to stop doing that, right,
(18:23):
And so you grab your phone, you know, you look
at your messages, you look at your email whatever, if
that's somebody does that, and you know, I really want
to get out more in the morning, and which I do.
So those are like a little in your mind. Don't
think of them as sacrifices things. Think of the things
that you're doing to really heal yourself.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
Right.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
And you were saying that the seeds are you know,
anything seedless is bad enough, but it's actually most of
the nutrients are in the seed anyways, So.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
The majority and the nutrients are found in the seat.
So I was just reading an article on avocados and
how great avocados. I agree with avocado's phenomenal, but the
pit of it, the seed of it is I see
probably the most nutritious.
Speaker 5 (19:02):
Out of the whole thing, and we all throw it away.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
Correct now, I understand why because it's hard.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
So what I found is I do is I take
a cheese grater, and I grate it. So I let
it dry first, for it about a day. I take
the skin off the seed and then I grate it
and then put in the tea. You can put in smoothie,
you can put a salad, you can put it whatever,
or you can break it up and then use it
as chunks and eat it that way. I just like
to grate it up. My personal thing. But that's where
the majority of the nutrition says, and in most cases,
(19:26):
that's where the majority of most nutrition in most of
our fruit sets. It's just it's just where it is.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
Like the grapes with the with the seeds, like you're
watermelon with the seeds. And then and you know, people,
we have watermelon seeds that you eat, right, I mean
that you can buy them, even watermelon seeds, right, or
pumpkin seeds for that matter.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
A phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Oh they're absolutely They're one of my favorite, right. So
I mean, so really, the fact is you're saying you
so you eat apples with the seeds, that's what you.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
I hate the whole cord. I eat straight down. There's nothing,
I'll throw anything out. I'll get the old total thing.
People think I'm weird. But if my wife looks at
me crazy, sometimes I.
Speaker 5 (20:00):
Like, eat, it's so close to the seed.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Even when I get that little hard like little hard
thing and chew on and I'm.
Speaker 5 (20:05):
Like, oh, I went too deep. It went too far.
That's what I say.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
I don't want to eat the whole thing. I'm right through.
Speaker 5 (20:10):
It, not the little stick thing.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
God, everyone's come that part out the stem.
Speaker 5 (20:17):
You're like, just in case, you know that the stem,
the stem.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Is I don't have it. If it's a little too short,
you can't get it out.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
But I mean, I'll try the other ones.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
Listen, I'm willing to try anything once, Okay, but the
stem is not gonna happen.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
That's not gonna happen. I just already know that's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
But I'm actually going to because I love avocados and
those of people out there that do not like avocados, right,
But honestly, you can put them into things you won't
even taste the avocado. You can put into smoothies, you
can smash them up, putting your tune of salad, chicken salad.
You know, you can literally use it and you won't
even honestly taste it because avocatos are amazing for you and.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
Just think about it. They say, somebody else ate the
avocado because you don't like it. You take the seed
and then do it, you know, do with you by
you said shred it up and.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Stuff because you say the nutrients and I told you
I'm going to go buy a greater geez greater because
I don't go.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
I don't really, Jesus is not I do so much
key for or your girt that you know, Jesus on
my low potum when it comes to to dairy, but
I'll get on. I want to try that because I
want to get the nutrients of it. And I can
feel the difference when I really work on myself and
do research and I add something tiny into my routine.
Sometimes you feel like something miraculous, like you're gonna get
(21:28):
something that's gonna be crazy, and sometimes it really isn't.
I'll come back and talk about that because I bought
Brazilian nuts. I'll tell I'll tell you about that. So
you can go to obviously coach Brax. You know, you
can email him and reach out to me at my
trimline dot com. We each have our own he helps
you with any healing process and obviously exercise and activities,
(21:49):
and I will help you with your nutrition, especially if
you're on the shots. Please please please put nutrition with it.
You can go to my trim line dot com and
I'll be right back.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
Welcome back.
Speaker 6 (21:59):
This is the my trim Line Radio show with Nadia
here on news radio doubl UHB five eighty.
Speaker 5 (22:05):
Helln, welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
And if you're just tuning incause you might be done
with church and you just put us on, So that's fantastic,
and we really appreciate you tuning in. Thank you so much,
and I always hope you're learning something. The first half
we talked about sun, how amazing it is. We talked
about seeds and food and I'm an avocado person. I'm
going to get the seed and let it dry out
(22:29):
for one day, right coach, and then take the skin off,
and I'm a grade it and I'm gonna start eating
that because honestly, the older I'm getting, the more I
want to get healthier.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
It just it's my goal. I want to age gracefully.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
I like when people tell me I don't look my age, Okay,
I really do enjoy that. And as a woman, the
older you get, if somebody tells that to you're like, tang,
I really like that. And so we talk about seeds
because you eat the seed, you eat the whole core everything.
When it comes to apple, I'm still sometimes even the stem,
I'm still little bit talk about that one.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
But I do some crazy things.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
I've seen the workouts you do, those are definitely I
do love it.
Speaker 5 (23:08):
Though it's very inspiring. I have to tell you that
it's different.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah, and please, well everyone's going to wonder whom I'm
even on here a bunch of times, so people should
know you, but please do tell them what you do
and what you own, and then we'll talk about the
two things we're talking about.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
To break Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
So yeah, this is coach Bricks and I, you know,
I deal with a lot of the athletes, but I
started getting more to helping people who have pain discomfort
how to get out of that naturally do it because
there's a lot of times that people come in and
they think they're only option is surgery. So I try
to do that, just give them an another avenue to
get better. And I hooked up with a doctor who's
really really great thinks very similar to myself. And you know,
(23:47):
we start up a company called RX Fitness and it's
to take where we take assessments and stuff like that
of these people to see where they're at, no matter
how bad the condition is, you know, hard, whatever, and
try to help them get on the right path naturally.
You know, wean them off at their own medication. How
do we get you down? Because no medication is good
for you, even though it might help you out or
always side effects to it. Now, so people have to understand.
(24:09):
So we're trying to get people to understand there's a
natural way to do it. Is it hard, Yes, it's difficult,
but we're trying to step by step. So he and
I came up with that as doctor Joe Thomas and myself,
and we're really trying to.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
Push that now.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Very nice and I like to do things natural and
I get it there's medications out there that people have
to be on. Maybe I don't know, but there could
be out there. But honestly, you should definitely attempt a
natural way too because it could only help it and
eventually you can come off your medication. Is really good
and right now people are like, you know, everybody in
the I don't everybody. Look, I'm going to say so many,
(24:41):
so many people are taking the GLP one shots to
lose weight. And you know, the more research you do.
And it's been about a year or two years that's
been going on now the little bit of horror stories
are coming out, right, So definitely research it and you
won't to eventually get off of it. If you're like, wow,
microdocing till the day I die, well, let me tell
you it's totally killing the insides of you. You're pancreas.
(25:04):
I mean your skin, your muscle, your bones. I mean
it's you know, you lost the weight, but you're gonna
make your quality of life down the road considerably worse.
And I know that people really fall for it. The
reason falling for it meaning like they because they're overweight,
they come off the cholesterol medication or blood pressure medication,
and they're not diabetic anymore. So they're like, Wow, this
is amazing because now I don't have those conditions anymore. Right,
(25:27):
and on top of it, I've lost weight and I
look good. But you still don't understand it's still a drug.
It's still a medication.
Speaker 5 (25:34):
They want to be.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
Pushing it so hard and making so much money off
of it. If it wasn't a drug or a medication,
if it was something natural that you could go get
at a store or pick, you know, some sort of herb,
they want to be talking about it whatsoever, because there's
nothing they can make money. You can't make money off
of you being able to plant something in your backyard
and that's a natural herbit you can use. They can't
(25:55):
make money off of that. So kind of think about
that a little bit and be smart about it. Put
your nutrition with these shots, if you're on these shots,
and really work toward coming off of them, and then
for you not to be able to you know, not
gaining your weight back. And that's one hundred percent of
what I focus on a trim line. And you know
we're talking about things that even me over time and
the older I'm getting, I do a lot of research still,
(26:16):
and I know you do to also coach. And you
know one thing that I think you and I talked
about so for a long time when I was researching selenium,
because our bodies really were very vitamin D three deficient
and you should do three with K two and we're
very selenium deficient and you saw you said you've done
research about that too, right, and then you so you
talk to a doctor around COVID, so please tell them
(26:38):
what you said.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
So it's funny.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
One of the only doctors that I really trust and
stuff like that I was talking to. And it happened
probably a month and so it was in April of
twenty twenty. And he said, listen, this is what's going on.
And he told me, and he said, here's where you're
going to be able to stop it. He goes, I
guarantee seventy five to eighty percent of the people are
deficient in vitamin D, which I think is higher. I
think it's actually probably ninety ninety five. That's when it
(27:00):
comes to vitamin D, especially up here in the Northeast,
you know, Cloudy or area Coulder air. And he said selenium.
Speaker 5 (27:06):
And I'm like, Seleni.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
I go into this because I have no idea what
you're talking about selenium. He goes, well, it's in Brazil nuts.
He said, that's your natural source.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
Where you get it.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
He goes, you can get a supplement of it too,
And he said, that's why I start with the supplement,
just to get it to go and then tool because
it sometimes difficult to get brazila It's not everybody sells them.
It's not like going to the store and getting peanuts.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
That's right, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
So it is he says, we get this supplement, get
it going, and then you know, before this ramps up,
and then get your slim. So I I a bunch
of guys during that time were asking me what am
I taking, and I told him the vitamin D and
I told him selenium. None of my guys, none of
them got the virus.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
None of them.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Solenium is so so important for your body, and we
lack it so so much, just because the older we
get it's worst.
Speaker 5 (27:47):
But honestly, our food we deplete our.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Foods of so much nutrients and so much minerals that
we're constantly lacking. And selenium is extremely important. So when
I researched it, it said Brazilian Brazilian nuts, and I
actually I do not like hazel nuts. Like I love
everything hazel nut, but I do not like hazel nuts.
For the longest time, my brain was correlating Brazilian nuts
(28:10):
to hazel nut right like there was I'm like, I
can't do it.
Speaker 5 (28:13):
I just can't. I can't.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
It's like I just don't like hazel nut. Then I'm like, okay,
so I, you know, just googled it came I'm like, well,
that's not a it's not a freaking hazelnut. That looks
totally different and it looks like almost like a finger.
The Brazilian nuts are pretty big, they really are, and
you and you can overdo it on them, okay, and
they're actually become harmful.
Speaker 5 (28:31):
If you're overdoing it.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Just like when we told you you don't need to
be into song for five hours, okay, like we really
need to learn moderation.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
I think that's really important.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
So the key is for research for women, Like I said,
anywhere from you know, cause they're smaller. Brazilian nuts are
really big Brazilian nuts, but they're pretty big size. They're
not your normal almonds or there's there.
Speaker 5 (28:50):
They're nice.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
So anywhere from one to three per day is perfect
for you. And I got them at Lord, I got
them at Trader Joe's, okay, and so but I.
Speaker 5 (29:04):
They're just very good because I was looking for them.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
I mean I looked for I mean, stop argy making
me laugh, But I really that's aw swear to God
is where I found them. So but you know, I mean,
I went online and I'm like, obviously Amazon has everything,
but I'm like, I don't want to.
Speaker 5 (29:18):
Order it from Amazon.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
I don't know why that I can order my dress
from Amazon, but I just don't want to order my
Brazilian nuts from Amazon. I don't know if it's true
or not, but I went to why. I went to
everywhere and I couldn't find it, but they had it,
so and I still I take. I take anywhere from
one to two a day, and I generally knock on
with don't get sick. And this is what I tell people,
(29:40):
like people always want to take something. And I don't
know if you you agree with this that people do this.
They take whatever and they expect something miraculously to change.
You know what I mean, I should have like massed
more energy or I should have, you know.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
Just because yeah, take it to that boom. I should
be Maybe.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
Somebody takes something for a month and maybe even at
that point they're like, well, I don't feel a difference.
Speaker 5 (30:02):
I don't feel a difference whatsoever.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
And I tell them some things that you're taking, it's
not that you're going to feel the difference. It's still working.
Speaker 5 (30:10):
Right.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
So if you don't get sick for two minds or
three months or a year, and you used to get
sick all the time, and I'm not talking about just
a cold. Whatever your energy and now you have a
little bit more energy, believe it or not, that's probably
what it's working. And if in research you're what the
side off facts, meaning what it's supposed to do for you.
So if you go google you know the benefits of selenium,
it will tell you what it's going to do. And
it's nothing that you're going to see in a month. Okay,
(30:34):
it's it's actually working internally for you, same as D
three D three. Actually you'll feel it probably in about
a month or so because your energy level will go up,
you're not as lethargic, and you won't get sick. I mean,
those are all things that help you not to even
get sick on top of it. But whatever you're taking,
I don't know why the notion of well I should
like you know, and that's probably why they got us
(30:56):
on the shots, on the weight loss shots, because people
were wanting that instant weight loss. And then you know,
I just talked to somebody yesterday morning and she was
saying that she was on the shots and in two
months and two months she had lost like almost thirty
eight pounds, and she goes, well, I did great on it.
I'm like, that's not great. You losing thirty eight pounds
(31:17):
in two months. That is humanly not good. You lost
your muscle mass. You absolutely one hundred percent lost your
muscle mass. Like I can't even imagine losing thirty eight
pounds and two months And she wasn't a three hundred
pound woman because I can see that happening, you know,
So she was two hundred pounds and went down to
whatever when sixty something in two months? So fast is
(31:39):
not always the answer.
Speaker 5 (31:41):
I mean, I mean, do you have.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
You noticed people just want even if you're working for somebody,
you're working with someone with their shoulder, right, they're expecting
it to Okay, what we've been doing this for three
weeks and I should be like be able to, you know,
throw a ball again, right, I mean, people just want
that instant gratification immediately with one.
Speaker 3 (31:59):
Of the worse things, especially in today's society, because everything
is instant. You can go right to your phone, you
can get the answer where you and I aret, we
all had to go to the library. I know these
kids have no idea what the Dewey decimal system is,
but trying to look that thing up to get it.
It took us time, but it took patience. It trained
us to be something. These kids don't have that anymore.
So when it doesn't happen instantly boom, then they get
(32:20):
upset it doesn't work. And I always tell people when
they come in with I just had a person with
the shoulder and I've been working with them for two
weeks now.
Speaker 4 (32:27):
They improved probably fifty percent.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
And they're like, well, I thought i'd be here, And
I'm like, how long has your shoulder been hurting? Well,
it's been hurting for a year and a half, and
how do you think it's going to get better in
two weeks. It's been hurting for a year and a half.
You got to give it time to heal. Are you
are you progressing there? He goes, well yes, and I'm like, well,
then you're in the right pathe I don't understand why
we have this instant I touch it and all of
a sudden it's healed.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
You know what I mean? It doesn't it doesn't work.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
But also it's not just children. I mean children. It
don't want that instant gratification when it comes to things,
And I think that's part that definitely is part of
a problem.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
We need.
Speaker 5 (33:02):
We need to be patient.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
We need to understand that things, if you do it
the right way, they might take a little bit, a
little bit more time, but then you do the benefits
of them, You're gonna reap it for decades to come.
It might take a little bit time now, but you
reap the benefits in the future. Consider longer. We're gonna
take a break. You can definitely reach out to coach
brax is local.
Speaker 5 (33:22):
We both are.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
You can go to my trim line dot com and
book a free chat, you know, especially if you're looking
to really get off these weight loss medications or at
least enhance it with nutrition. I'm gonna take a break
and I'll be right back.
Speaker 6 (33:34):
Let's get back to the My trim Line Radio show
with Nadia on use Radio doub HB five eighty.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
Hello and welcome back, and thank you so much for listening.
I really hope you take two things minimum from this show.
Number One, if you're not on d three plus K two.
Start that number two gets se lineum in, go get
some Brazilian nights.
Speaker 5 (33:54):
That's all you need to do.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
You're like, really, those are the only two things I
can just start those two and you're doing appsolutely. You
took one step for you to be healthier. I want
to thank you coach for coming on, and please tell
coach breakfast here. He's been my guest many times, which
I really appreciate you. I love it too because when
we talk, it just you know, and arts are it's great,
are it's fantastic. But when we talk, it just gets me,
(34:18):
you know, it gets me going in general. But and
we were talking about before the break but instant gratification.
I did shows on instant gratification because I think instant
gratification will all most for most people will take over
long term gratification. Okay, it just is because the insidant
obviously they see it, they want it right away.
Speaker 5 (34:38):
Right.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
So, and you're when we talked about it, there's two
things that obviously both with massive horrible side effects that
people in the weight training world they were taking.
Speaker 5 (34:49):
You were talking about steroids. Tell them about that, and I.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
Think which really bleeds into the weight loss shots.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
You know, Yeah, sir, I was talking about steroids because
you know, it became very popular really step in the
age and praying before that. But it's because it reduced
the amount of time that you actually had to get
the results you wanted. Now you start to workout. So
I'm not taking anything away from people. They still had
to work hard. I know a lot of people who
were on them and stuff like that, they had to
work their rear ends off, but instead of taking maybe
a year year and a half, it was not taking
(35:17):
you a month or two. So you were seeing these
results that were incredible, you know, when you took some
of the some of the stuff, and that's what happens.
So when you see that now of a sudden, everything
you think should go to that speed, and that's not
how life is, you know what I mean. I think
it's the same thing that we were talking about. The
GLP one shots. You see that much quicker than actually
changing the nutrition. And I always find that interesting because
(35:39):
I'm like, people take these shots, but they're never getting
to the root cause of why they got to a
certain spot, you know why. So what you come into
play is if people actually, okay, you're on this. I
need to go see an audio so I can do
it right when I can wean off it, because like
you should never be on anything for a long period
of time ever, but that's one thing that you should
be like, Okay, I need to get off, but I
(36:00):
needed to learn how to eat properly that or whatever,
have a better relationship with food, those kind of things.
And I think that's where people don't want to do
it because why it's hard.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Well it is, but also they've seen the results, right,
They're like, well, I lost the weight. I don't need
to learn anything by any means, and they don't eat anyways,
which is really bad. But then when you stop it,
you know, still a lot of people, I mean eighty
percent of people gain their weight back. And then now
they totally are brainw well not brainwashing, but they're pushing
(36:30):
people to the microdosing, right, which I know. I have
a good friend that talks about that and she's on
microdose herself, right, But she even admits that nutrition is
the key. You got to make sure that you're nutrition
because it doesn't change your thought process. That's not what
the shot does. The shot just makes you makes the
noise in your head for food go down. It suppresses
(36:53):
your appetite, it doesn't change your behavior, it does not
change your thought process towards food.
Speaker 5 (36:57):
And it doesn't give you nutrients. So those are the things.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
Even herself that she did the shots and lost the way,
and I love her to death, and she does microdos,
but she tells everybody she goes nutrition is the key
for you to eventually come off the shots. Right, So
everybody kind of knows that, and you should focus on that.
But your instant gratification when it comes to a lot
of things, I mean, and we talked about this, I
(37:21):
think COVID made instant gratification, like I don't know, ten
times more powerful because you know, things came out that
now we can order food and people can bring it
to your home.
Speaker 5 (37:31):
I mean, honestly, I don't.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
Think that really existed to a point that when COVID hit.
You know, people with uber Eats and door Dash and
I don't know, there's another one out there which I
can't remember the name of it, but I mean people
there and these businesses have grown massively because now we
don't even go get our food anymore.
Speaker 5 (37:51):
We actually order groceries that can bring our groceries to
our home.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
So and you know what I want to make dinner. Wow,
we don't want to go out and go get it.
Then we order it and they can bring it to
our home. I mean they'll they'll bring anything to your
home at this point like Amazon, Amazon grew, I don't know,
billions of dollars, like when you when you look at
things that now your instant gratification of you ordering and
bringing them to you. So we're not even going anywhere anymore.
(38:17):
We're just we're literally getting things dropped off in front
of our door.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
And I think that's what that goes to the point
of why you know kids will asking me in the gym,
adults as well, And I said, we're devolving.
Speaker 4 (38:29):
At a very rapid evolving.
Speaker 5 (38:31):
Evolved.
Speaker 4 (38:32):
We're devolving. We're not evolving, We're devolving.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
And if you go back, and I always always bring
this up, and I said, if I had if there's
a tree outside, I have to cut it down. And
I gave a chainsaw, and ax, what are you going
to use chainsaw? But every time I use that chainsaw
to devolve, every time I get into my car, it evolved.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
Now.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
Granted, don't get me wrong, I've used chainsaws. Yes, I drive,
I do that stuff. But when we take away basic stuff,
like you said, I'm not going to the grocery store
anymore because I don't want to leave my house. That
is probably about as devolved as you can get. Because
now you're not putting anything onto the body, you're not
training the body, you're not making it stronger, you're not
doing anything. You're just sitting there and having somebody serve
(39:07):
you constantly. It's the worst thing that can happen to people.
We are so devolved compared to where we should be.
Our ancestors. If we want to talk about the cavemen
or whatever, those guys would run circles around us right
now physically wise and probably mentally wise because they're not
all knocked out with the phones and everything like that.
Speaker 5 (39:23):
Oh yeah, Mentally, we're doing bad.
Speaker 4 (39:25):
Horrible.
Speaker 5 (39:26):
Mentally we're doing bad.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
I mean, people are getting dementia or they don't remember
things worse than before, and we can bring I mean,
we women joke about it and call it menopause brain right,
like a menopause fog, which I'm not saying that it's
not real, but honestly, we're not really giving our brain
exercise that much anymore, right, And I think the overeats
(39:47):
and you know, the instat carts are great for people.
I have clients in the past and present that are
not mobile, do you know what I mean? There are
wheelchair bound or they are they have issues that they
cannot go down ups steps, so they really are not
or blind.
Speaker 5 (40:02):
I have in the past ILF had literally blind clients.
Speaker 2 (40:06):
Right, So I get that they yeah, they can use
those tools, and but that's different that that is different
than a very healthy forty year old or fifty year
old or six or to not. I don't want to
leave my house because I'm gonna have somebody else do
my grocery shop and bring it to me. And I
know a lot of people hate grocery shopping, which I
don't even understand it, but I get it. I'm sure
(40:26):
I know people do. But getting out, so getting out
and being mobile I think is just extremely important. And
now we have so many things that are fingertips that
doesn't I mean, I went to the mall a couple
of days ago. I wanted to meet up with my sister.
They ruined my glasses. Because now I'm nearest I can't
see anything. I'm just going basically blind because of my
eyesight's so bad. But you know, the mall was not
(40:50):
busy at all, like hardly, and even in the past,
even in the last like four years whatever or whatever.
Even before that, I would see people walking around like,
you know, like literally go to the mall. Let'say, it's
really hot out and they would go to the mall
to walk, Like a bunch of older ladies or even
younger people would walk at the mall just to walk.
And it was just really sad to see the mall
(41:11):
being so dead because you know, everybody's doing everything online.
Speaker 5 (41:15):
They're ordering their stuff online.
Speaker 2 (41:17):
And I really believe that you know, sunlight, you're getting
some air, you're going out into nature. I think that's
one thing I'm going to work on too, is getting
out into nature and more, because you do really go
to the woods and all, like you really do.
Speaker 3 (41:32):
Live in the woods and far away from everybody else.
You would far away. But that's one of my favorite things.
But I was thinking about this when you're talking about
the mall, how many people park far away from oh.
Speaker 5 (41:43):
Nobody, People like beat each other up to the front.
Speaker 4 (41:47):
Right to get to the front whatever. That spot.
Speaker 3 (41:50):
But that's once again that's an evolving issue. You should
be able to park far enough back, especially if you're
capable and you don't have any issues and walk and
if you do, learn how to, you know, fix yourself.
If you can, you know, find somebody that understands. Okay,
I can get better. Everybody can heal because we're all
bodies naturally heal. And I tell people this all the time.
Your bodies are always healing. They either heal correctly, they
(42:12):
heal incorrectly. You got it the way you need to,
and it's by what you eat, which is nutrition very
important bottom with you, and then also how you take
care of it. If I sit around ninety percent of
the day, well then my body's going to heal the
wrong way. It's not healing the proper way. So you
have to continue to challenge it.
Speaker 2 (42:28):
Yeah, and even sitting or sitting because most of our
jobs are sitting. And let's say even if you're standing,
if you're standing for a long period of time, that
is not good either. I mean there is just people
well I stand, I'm kind of moving, I'm standing. I'm
like no, that's like that's really bad for you too.
It's just stand, especially people that are standing like ten
or twelve hours a day or I mean, you really
(42:50):
have to research for you to heal yourself naturally, a
little bit of research, reaching out to people that I mean,
we're professionals, you know, Like I tell people, I'm not
going to go and rotate and change my tires.
Speaker 5 (43:00):
I go somewhere somebody does it for me.
Speaker 2 (43:02):
And you know, you're the professional to help people to
heal themselves and get better normally, like naturally, I should say,
And I do things naturally in the sense of your
nutrition for you to get your nutrients and heal that
way with an inside.
Speaker 5 (43:15):
I did the inside, you did the outside. Basically, coach trails,
that's what you do.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
